She slipped on the black skirt, her tail hidden underneath the flowing tresses. she spun, giggling as the skirt flowed out. It hid everything perfectly.
She grabbed her bra, strapping it on, before pulling on a blouse, blue with a flower design printed on. "perfect!" she chirped. She stuck on her white sadnles before she hurried from the room, snatching up her bookbag and hurrying out to the kitchen.
"Jeez do girls always take this long? it;s JUST middle school!" Blaze grumbled, eating his eggs and bacon ravanishly. He was a tall boy, with lanky legs and features closer to his father. his eyes were a sharp green and his hair a frayed, cut red mess atop his head. He didn;t want long girly hair like his sisters afterall, so he always made Reshi cut it. His tail was hidden in his pants, and his shirt was what all the boys were wearing, some skateboarder thing. He wore sneakers on his feet as well - expensive ones. Boys these days!
"excuse me! it;s EIGTH grade." Suki said, getting into her seat at the table as carefully as possible. that was the only flaw. you had to get used to sitting on your tail. it hurt sometimes.
"Yeah and... are you wearing make-up?!"
"No!" Suki said, looking away, flushing.
"Okay okay you two." Reshi broke in, handing the girl her plate. "eat." he glanced at the girl, smirking a bit. That WAS make-up. He wondered where she got it. as far as he knew, neither Mera nor Amber owned any. those friends of hers probably.
"Thanks." Suki murmured, taking her plate, she sntached up a fork and began eating as well. There first day of 8th grade. she was so excited! Her friends were going to be estatic when they saw her!
"Hey Shiro! get your butt down here before the dogs eat everything!" Reshi called.
Amber meanwhile was still lying in bed, yawning a bit. last night had been a long one of racing through the forest. It had been the full moon, making her a little more hyper then normal. she just HAD to run around. And now she was exhasuted.
She could hear her children moving about, already excited to start the first day of school.

Had it really been all that time that had passed? Mos's children were already in middle school! It made him feel awfully old... and his coughing didn't make anything better. At least it was his day off, so he could see his kids to school. He was shocked that they were even going to school. He figured Amber would to high strung and make them all go the usual Jakku way.
He worked overtime now really to support the family and try to give his kids everything they wanted. Reshi was usually home unless he was out on a mission... but Momma Lance refused to give him any more until he found himself a partner. Mos would be more than insulted if his health anymore wasn't so bad and that he really needed to be there for his kids while they were still growing. A small.... small ad was put in the Mideel newspaper looking from a sharp shooter/investigator. There had been no responses.
Since all four of his kids were growing up.... fast, he had the basement redone, now the three kits sleeping down below, him and Amber in there room and Reshi in his own. As for Shiro, he was only visiting... He now resided in Midgar, in the worlds' best college. The only real good thing about that was that the boy got in pretty much for free. His scholarships and achievement awards were amazing throughout high school. Besides that, Reshi covered the rest of his education, no questions asked.
He sat on a stool in the kitchen, a cigarette in his mouth and a fork stabbed into an egg. His green eye looked through the newspaper to see if there was anything interesting. More bad news in Midgar. He sighed. Why did Shiro have to live there? It wasn't good for his son's health. He could get mako poisoning....
Indeed, Mera didn't wear much make-up. She was waiting for high school really. Only some mascara was applied every morning. He wasn't one to care about what people thought of her. She kept to herself for the most part and just did all her studying. She too wore a skirt, but it was shorter than her sisters. When she was younger, she had an accident while hunting. She again picked a bigger foe than she could handle, and this time, her brother wasn't there to save her. For this, she lost her tail... it was bitten right off.
She walked down a bit after her sister, smelling her father's cooking. She wore a traditional uniform for her first day. It was recommended to be worn but they let the first and last say side for wearing anything they liked. Suki always enjoyed that. She didn't have to wear the less attractive long dress skirts. She sat down next to her sister and took a plate for herself. She giggled a bit as she did notice the make-up. The friends Suki had were girly girls just like Suki.
Orange shades were pulled over the scarred eyelids as he heard his name. Yes, just a quick visit. He honestly wouldn't of come back for the short weekend if Reshi didn't beg so badly. A long white lab coat was pulled over his shirt and adjusted, buttoning up and straightened. The door opened and the young man walked down stairs slowly. His siblings were not very obedient when it came to food time.
He passed Reshi with a quick 'good morning' and found an empty chair. Mera reached over and put a plate in front of her blind brother. While they were growing up, they fully understand about their brother's handicap... be he didn't want them to treat him any differently than any other person. Everyone he knew didn't know his was blind...
"Shiro!" Mos called from the kitchen. "Would you mind picking the girls up after school today??" Yes... pick up Suki and Mera. He really didn't trust the men in this town that much. He had seen them look up and down his girls a bit too much. He asked Blaze too keep an eye on them but you know how boys are... he complained until Mos couldn't take it anymore.
Shiro stopped, his mouth open, about to have some egg. "Yea, sure. No problem."

Reshi glanced at Shiro once he came into the room, then looked away. In his mind's eye he could still see himself awakening, skin still wet from a cold shower, and blonde hair plastered to his chest, a naked body against his own.
The morning after had been full of awkward words, a whole bunch of 'what now?'s and years of jumping at one another;s touch. They were both still adrenline whores, no matter what though.
He shuddered. It never left his mind...
and it was a sceanrio he still, adhjamedly, played around with in his sick, twisted imagination.
He took his own plate, hopping on the stool next to Mos, eating his own breakfast.
"Daddy!" Suki complained once her father gave his demand to her eldest brother. "Please i'm not a kit anymore!" She HATED it when her father treated her like she couldn;t take care of herself. She could fight and win against any adversary, if she really wished too!
Amber sighed, finally, reluntantly, pulling herself away from the bed, hearing the arguement going on in the kitchen. she might as well wish them well. though schooling was never her fancy, their were advantages to the system. reading and writing being the main ones. however when she swore that that was all she was going to let her kids learn... that after elementary she;d take them straight out...
not only did the law get tiffy with the idea, Mos had as well as her rebel children. Even Reshi ganged up against the idea.
How much education did a FOX need?!
'And if we want to be humans we need more!' was what her daughter, Suki had snapped. She had gotten quiet a temper for someone who used to be so shy and well-behaved.
In laymens terms, she had lost that fight.
Amber pulled on a bathrobe - Blaze was really iffy about her galvanting around naked now and would always growl at her whenever she did - and walked from the room.
She carefully trotted into the kitchen, glancing around. The smell of bacon hit her nose, and she sniffed, trotting over to Mos and Reshi. she sntached one off the latter's plate, biting into it.
"Hey! get your own!" Reshi complained playfully.
Amber didn;t comment, munching down on the meat. Bacon was the only meat she could eat cooked - and only from Reshi's plate because he never cooked it too a crisp. She hated the taste of burnt meat. She hated the taste of cooked meat.
Though, there was one way she would eat cooked meat for when her children had friends over - a little trick Reshi had discovered. Reshi would slather the meat in a raw egg yoke, claiming it was a speacial mustard sauce if any of the kids asked. The taste to Amber was perfect. she loved the taste of raw eggs, only because they had a speacial zest, and it took away the zing of meat.
She looked over her four kids, landing on Shiro first. Her first boy was all grown up know, living in that horribly polluted city Midgar, Though she was concerned for him, he knew how to take care of himself. He was a full grown... adult.
But her other three babies still had a lot to learn. In both worlds. They weren't as wise as they believed themseleves to be.
"Listen to your father Suki." Was all Amber said, in a commanding tone.
The little fox huffed. "please."
Why was her daughter getting so difficult?

Mos frowned as he leaned back in the stool a bit. "Suki~ No arguing~. Next year you can walk home with your sister, but not this year." Even next year was a bit... too much. Seeing that they were Jakkus, they went into heat a lot younger than humans... but the men in town DID NOT need to know that.
Mera was going to bring up the point on how it kind of equaled itself out if Shiro made sure they got home safe... it wasn't like.... he could LOOK after them... but he had heard from Shiro himself that he didn't have to see anything to do everything. She really admired her older brother... even if he wasn't blood. He was the smartest guy she knew... and with his help over the phone, she always got 100% on her science homework and tests.
Shiro nodded and looked in the direction of Suki's voice. "What's the matter baby sister? Don't like me anymore?" He joked as he push some of the egg into his mouth, chewed and swallowed. "You know... Dad is only looking out for your safety. There are a lot of..." He stopped and moved his head a bit, into Reshi's direction. A grin arose on his face. "perverts in this world..."
It was strange... Reshi did this quite a lot. He would call to see if the younger man, now 24, would come back home for a quick visit. Shiro was usually busy 110% of the time... but Reshi would use the excuse that everyone wanted to see him again. So... he makes the long trip... and his family is shocked to see him at the doorstep. Reshi... would then hardly say a word. Shiro thought it was a shame...
Sex was not a good thing for a man's mind...especially not a man who was majoring in science and politics. Ever since that night, a part of his brain had been corrupted. For a long time, all he wanted was to feel Reshi's touch again. Even in the middle of class once, he had to excuse himself early because he couldn't get that feeling out of his head. He had become.... sexually frustrated. An amazing night.... to never having one again. How sad... So, he torched the other man... call him a pervert and make him 'beg'.
It was doing quite the opposite. It made the older man feel more guilty if anything... but... Shiro liked that power too. Manipulation... He turned his head back to Suki with a smile. "At what time do you get out? I'll be waiting for you."

Suki pouted a bit. "Of course i like you big brother." she said. She lvoed her brother a lot, but she hated being treated like a pup! Blaze never got treated this way just cause he was a GUY!
It was... discrimination! Her english teacher taught her that one.
She sighed in resignation. "3:25." she answered, scoopping more food into her mouth. "I guess i'll see you then." she hated it though. none of her other friends got watch over like they were cubs still. They were given some freedom...
It was so... embaressing!
Reshi blushed faintly at the grin shot his way, and he turned his head away, eatting quietly. Damn that brat! Did he WANT to be fucked senseless again?!
... actually that was exactly what he wanted.
But... but he wasn;t going to give in...
That'd be bad!
Amber sighed, nuzzling Mos affectionately. the little demands he made , the little worries he ahd for their children she was grateful for. She had the same worried same fears... but with Mos saying them they seemed less bendable to her children. they didnlt often rebel against Mos' word.

Shiro smiled and nodded. "Alright then... 3:25 it is then" He continued to eat and wait till they all seemed to be in a hurry to leave. He would repack for the trip home later this evening. He knew that his parents and Reshi didn't like him living so far away... and in Midgar of all places. But he wore a bracelet and on a very small charm, it had a medical sign on it... allowing someone who was helping him if he got hurt, would show that this man had a handicap of some sort. If anyone lifted his sunglasses, they would quickly find out.
There was an awkward silent the nigh before when he slept in his old bed next to Reshi's. It made him grin though...
Mos smile at the nuzzle and replied with one back after taking his cigarette out of his mouth. He was quite happy that the kids actually listened to him. He could get quite scary if they pushed him too far. He looked up and the time and smiled. "Alright you dogs, let's get finished up. School starts in 15 minutes." The redhead male stood, letting his still long hair flow behind him as he put his dish in the sink.
Mera looked up at the time and quickly ate her last bight before getting up and putting her plate onto of her dad's. She didn't mind being walked home... Reshi usually picked them up and they would have some funny walks home. There was no need to make a huge stink about it... Sometimes, she didn't understand why her sister had become so difficult. She had always been a well behaved, shy, dainty girl. Maybe she was going through a phase?
She took her bag quickly and pulled it over her back. She had short, shoulder length, dark, brown hair. Her eyes were a dark brown as well and had fare skin. She only liked going out at night, so the sun hardly got to put any color on her. She had a very... expressionless face and usually only replied to stupid comments as "......"
Shiro took his time as he ate and leaned back a bit when everyone was leaving. His head lifted a bit as he remembered something. "Oh... I got quite an odd phone call from ShinRa the other day."
Mos stopped in his tracks as his one eye grew wide. ShinRa...? He turned to his boy a bit worried. "What did they want?"
"To congratulate me on my outstanding science education."
Mos slowly looked at Reshi, a worried look on his face. This.... was not good.

Blaze just listened to his sister's complaints and the conversation around him with one ear. He didnl;t really care about all this.
He didn;t even really want to go to school. Personally, it was as boring as it was 'fun'. There was no joy in learning, but there was joy in hanging out with his friends, finding some poor kid to pick on, stealing other people's lunch, pulling some girl's hair and so on and so on.
Yeah, he wasnl;t exactly the nicest teenaged fox in the world but hey, survival of the fittest right? You had to fit in with the coolest kids, try out for the best sports, look good in your uniform (aka either don;t wear one or wear it sloppily). He weas doing what his mother taught him - at least indirectly. You do what the pack says - or in his case, his friends.
Suki finished her breakfast, hopping from her seat, stretching tiredly and trooting over to the door, waiting for her siblings to join her. she leaned against the wall, frowning a bit. Honestly what did her father think she was going to do? get raped? get drunk? she wasn;t stupid.
Blaze put his plate in the sink, trekking over next to his sister, giving her a nasty grin. "Poor daddy's little girl. Had tio be walked home like a puppy who doesn;t know her way."
"Shut up!" she growled.
The male fox laughed. He just loved teasing her!
Amber shot her children a glance, frowning a bit, but before she could interrupt them, Shiro broke in. her ears flattened down. "ShinRa?"
Reshi glanced at Mos, feeling just as concerned. "Did... they do or say anything else?" he asked cautiously. What did they want with Shiro now...? Hadn;t they done enough?!

Mera followed her sister to the door and gave her brother a dull look when he started trying to act cool. "What a moron..." She said and shook her head, hitting her brother upside the head. "It's not a big deal... you both look like idiots by making it one." He stated as she opened the door and walked out on the porch. It wasn't that she didn't like her siblings... but they needed to get a life.
Mos grabbed his bag as well, after he dropped the kids off, he would head to work. He gave Amber a quick glance before looking back at Shiro.
Shiro just smiled. "They were going to come over to my dorm one day. They said they were looking for more scientist for lab studies."
Mos frowned, a lot of anger in his face. How ironic... they want a test subject to make test subject out of others... Did they even know that Shiro was once one of their own little experiments gone wrong? He was worried though.... if some members of ShinRa were to go to Shiro's dorm, they would obviously see the metal slab on the back of his neck.
He hated to do this but... "I'm sure they need a scientist who can SEE, Shiro." He put bluntly and not much care behind it. "ShinRa's a very big company and needs everything to be efficient... I don't think they will halt and give you everything you need in braille... nor give you a braille typewriter. Everything is done by computers and by observation. Two things you cannot do nor see."
He sighed, knowing that what he was saying would hurt Shiro... but it was for his best interest... and health. "Spare them some time and tell them that you're blind when they want to set up an appointment." He looked at Reshi and then at Amber sadly before going out the door after the kids. "Have a safe trip tonight~"
The more Mos talked, the more enraged the young man became. His teeth clenched as his hand turned into a fist. He hated having his blindness stop him from his desires. But...maybe Mos was right. Scientist did need to observe... and that was one scientific thing he could never be able to do. He let out an angry sigh as he heard the door close.

Blaze scoffed, walking out after her, slinging his pack over his shoulder. "shut it Mera. stop trying to act like you know everything." he growled.
Suki's ears merely flattened and she spared both her siblings a glare, walking from the house as well but keeping her distance. soemtimes they BOTH got on her nerves! argh soemtimes she just wished Shiro was her only sibling.
Amber frowned glancing back towards the door. she was going to have to do something about the kid;s fighting pretty soon. they were acting like...
Well, she didn't know. teenagers she supposed. did all 'humans' asct like this? If they had grown up in the jakku world this type of compalining wouldnl;t even be allowed.
Reshi grimanced as Mos walked from the room, the door shutting with a sense of finality, leaving the fuming Shiro with him and Amber. oh thanks Mos. real fatherly of you. run away when he's pissed.
Amber sighed, her tail flickering. She would deal with her little brats later. she glanced towards her son. "He didn;t mean that to be harsh Shiro."
Reshi sighed. why not just tell the kid the real reason? "He makes a good point though, you really can;t do much without sight... besides, it's probably better if you don;t get mixed up with the ShinRa crowd anyways. They're a bunch of low down dogs." The male said harshly. He;d been on missions concerning ShinRa too many times... he;d seen too many things. Those bastards were tearing up the world. And he wouldn;t allow his son to become one of them.

Mera looked at her sister who seemed quite irritated. She then gave Blaze a glace... almost ready to say 'well, at least i pass my test and don't have to get on my knees to beg the teacher to pass me.' but if she said that, she would be no better than the other two bickering. She just shook her head and sighed. She hoped Blaze would stop trying to impress his friends and Suki would stop complaining about everything.
"You three loving each other again?" Mos butted in as he reached the kids. He laughed as he poked Suki. "I'm sorry honey, next year you can walk home... just not this year ok?" He looked at the three and smiled. "How about I bring some of that amazing chicken for dinner tonight and we can all talk huh?" He too was noticing the separation. He knew that it was just a way of life as a teenager... but he wanted his kids to be closer than this. They were all hiding a secret... so they all had to be extra careful.
The only reason Mos didn't tell Shiro the truth was that well.... they still didn't know the truth.... and if they just gave Shiro half the story, he knew the boy well enough that he would demand the rest of it from the horses mouth. That would get his son killed. Besides... just saying; 'ShinRa was the one who blinded you and left you for dead. the end' wasn't a very good.... 'truth'.
Shiro stood, taking his plate and walked to the sink. He quickly did up all the dishes, not saying a word. He would of left right at that moment if he didn't have to pick up his sisters at school. He only frowned and passed Reshi and his mother, heading upstairs. He didn't like being told that her couldn't do something. Reshi always gave him everything...

Blaze and Suki both looked up at their father.
Blaze smiled a bit then and nodded. "sure!" he loved chicken! Food was one of his weakpoints though...
Suki sighed but nodded. she hoped her dad was srious. this was what he said LAST year. He always tended to do that. she knew he was being 'caring' and whatnot but she was part fox! she could hear anyone trying to sneak up on her, she could run quicker then most... She could smell danger a mile away!
Honestly, humans were just child's play. They should be scared of HER.
Amber and Reshi spared another glance. they sighed to each other. the vixen motioned for Reshi to follow. He had always been better at talking to the boy then her - they ahd a lot more in common.
Besides, it still stood to be said that she didn;t understand enough of the human world to give the correct advice anyways.
Reshi frowned, but stood, following after the other male. "Shiro." he called after they had escaped the kitchen and were going upstairs.

Mos smiled at Blazes enthusiasms. Then again, they could be talking about how to kill the boy over chicken and he'd still agree. That kid really loved food. If he wasn't as hyper, he'd probably be quite pudgy. "Alright then. When I get back from work, I'll pick up a nice fresh hen and bring it home" He walked the three to school and waved them off before heading to the tobacco store. He had been working there for seven years now... and he was almost the owner since his boss was close to retiring.
He put his bag behind the counter and lit up another cigarette before pulling on an apron. Why he had to wear one... he didn't know. A uniform he guessed. He looked at the gum ball machine next to counter and smiled. People really shouldn't bring their kids is here.
Shiro ignored the call. Sentimental talks with Reshi anymore never really helped... Sentimental after being shot at and hit a number of times and fucked until being brought into a black out... just... didn't seem to work anymore. He reached his old room and slammed the door, quickly taking out a knife he carried in his shoe and slamming it into the side of the door, making it impossible for Reshi to open.
He didn't want to talk. There was nothing to talk about. He wouldn't answer ShinRa's calls anymore... but he wouldn't rejected them either. If they came to his dorm, so be it. He would let them know of his education and ranks... and what he could do for the famous company. He refused to outright admit that he was blind... they would have to figure it out by himself. He just packed up some clothes into his suitcase for the rest of the day.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When the late afternoon came, the blonde pulled the knife out of the wood and pulled the door open. It was quiet in the house. He could hear his mother sleeping... and wasn't too sure where Reshi was. He slowly walked downstairs, listening... but nothing. The older man must of been out... He opened the door and headed down the familiar path towards the school. It was the school he went toand learned about braille and the likes.
He wondered if he'd meet his teacher...
Silver hair brushed a bit over silver eyebrows as the wind from the forest blew through the town. A man in all black was sitting on a stoop outside his apartment building. His finger swirled a revolver head around his silver gun. Soft mako eyes looked upon it as it spun. He had a meeting in a hour with a man named Reshi. He had heard that this man was once a part of an investigation group with Mos Madrid. That was honorable enough.
As the years passed, Isaaru had become a supporter of the projects against ShinRa for obvious reasons. He got himself a shooting license and a gun to go along with it. He wasn't big on violence... but he too became a wild wolf at times. He wanted to put ShinRa in their place for stealing away innocence.
Long black nails ran along the smooth gun before putting it away. He looked out at the school across the street, seeing the kids got out. He had noticed through the years... that three children who seemed all to be related all wore a for of hat... every day. He had picked up there scents. They were foxes... and once was even familiar enough... that he was sure he had bumped into one at one point.
He just watched the kids as they left and then his eyes focused on the three. The boy was jumping around and being silly with some other boys but then soon ran off, leaving the two girls waiting. A human had always picked up the girls... but he was late today? He tilted his head as he watched them more, seeing the one with the darker hair say something to the girl in the cute clothes something before going back inside.
"Oh!" Mera shook he head and sighed, looking at her sister. "I forgot my English book in my locker. Stay here and see if Shiro comes by and let him know ok?" She turned and ran back into the school.
The mako eyes moved on the lone girl now. She reminded him so much of..... her. The innocent clothes she wore and the way she did her hair. His eyes became sad at the thought... but something caught his eye. She had started to twirl and seemed to of gotten dizzy. She had lost her balance and was falling...
The mako eyes glew as he jolted up and in the matter of seconds, he was neck to the girl, his strong arm held out and caught the girl before she was even close to reaching the ground. His silver hair blew a bit from his speed that stuck out under his own hat. When it seemed like she realized that she was saved, he helped her up gently. The skinny man stood in front of her, skin tight clothes and soft eyes, he smiled softly down at her.
"Are you ok miss?" Came out a sweet voice.
Blaze nearly skipped in happiness! Chicken! a hen! he couldn't wait to eat it tonight!
Reshi sighed as he was locked out. that was... no surprise. he heard the grating noise of metal being stuck in the door, and knew, from knowledge, that he was not going to be getting within the confines of that room anytime soon. "Brat." he grumbled under his breath, turning around to go tell amber that it was sueless. Shiro had made up his mind and he was going to do whatever he damn well felt like.
But that was what being an adult was about he supposed.
~~~
Amber's ears twitched, and she opened her eyes, eharing the noise of a door opening. It seemed Shiro was finally coming out. she sighed, curling up more. He was going for the kids, like he should be.
She shut her eyes, letting herself drift back into sleep. Reshi had gone awhile ago as well. She didn;t know why, nor did she care to know. It probably had something to do with his job. Maybe he was going to find that partner he needed...
Reshi sighed, wandering the town. He had a meeting with someone named Isaaru. He fingered the gun in his coat. He didn;t know what to expect, didn;t know if this kid was serious or just a spy.
A new partner...
He was wary about it. Reshi himself wasn;t half-bad at his job. The only partners he ever had had was Amber and Moa. Mos had been the besat to work with, entertaining and smart and... trigger happy. Amber had been well... girly. someone they had to protect usually. She never learned how to use a gun, but her senses picked up even more acutely then Mos' believe it or not. She had been right when she said the smoking was getting to the other.
But... he was older now, a little less adpatable and a little more stubborn. he had grown used to mission alone, and having a partner meant he might have to worry about the rookie, to train him and watch over him... just like Mos had. and the nervous thing was? he didn;t know if he COULD. He didn;t want someone;s blood on his hands...
Then again, this could just be a fraud. He could be walking right into a trap... He could wind up dead today.
He glanced at his watch. 56 minutes...
Blaze laughed a bit, grinning as he and his friends shared lewd jokes, pointing out the newest developments on the unpopulars.
"did you see what shelly was WEARING?!" one of the kids barked, grinning. "coke-bottle glasses AND plaid? God she should just stick a 'i am a nerd sticker' right on her forwhead."
"Yeah and they say Jimmy's a fag, can you believe that?" Blaze jumped in, glad at the dirt he had been able to overhear. Not that that was hard, even with his hidden ears. "Then again, maybe thats not such a surprise. He was kind of questionable with that whole 'i want to be a gardener' speech. what a flower-boy."
The kids laughed again.
"By the way," The tallest and biggest of the group, the leader of them - star of the basketball team named Nao - started, "Blaze whats UP with your sisters?"
Blaze blinked, trying to remain neautral. his tail twitched under his jeans in aggravation though. "what about them?"
"Mera's turned into some complete stuck up bitch." Nao said - it was no secret that he liked the other fox, not really at least, he had asked her out plenty of times but she always rejected him. this time though, she was extra harsh. "And Suki's some ditzy blonde, chasing butterflies and what not. She got some mental disordfer or something?"
Blaze kept quiet, but his eyes narrowed faintly. HE chased butterflies sometimes! they were fun to chase! ... and eat. "no. They're jsut being themseleves."
And somehow that was funny because the others laughed.
"Listen I gotta head home. Mom needs me to do some stuff. see ya tommorrow." Blaze said with a wave, shouldering his pack and walking away, hearing the yells of goodbye behind him. He passed his two sisters waiting at the gate. He offered them both a smile. "see you at home." He continued on, his mind whirling with confusion. He never... he never expected his friends to... turn on his own family. what the hell was he supposed to do about that?!
If he beat Nao up he;s not only be rejected from the other kids, his father would KILL him. Literally probably. He knew of all those guns...
But... he wasn;t going to talk trash about his own blood. there were... there were rules against that!
Suki waved regretably, wishing she could walk home like Blaze. She glanced at Mera when she ran off to get her English text. "k!" She called.
She stayed there, bored, watching other kids walking by her, the gaggle of boys that Blaze hung out with passed her, laughing and saying something like 'gonna chase the sun ditz!' but she ignored it.
She didn;t even get what they meant, no one could chase the sun. It was in the sky. what were they, idiots?
As the coutyard cleared up, leaving her pretty much alone to wait for her brother, she pulled away from the wall. she spun on her toes, watching her skirt flair up. it made her giggle and so she kept at it. Before she kenw it though, her head span and she tried, with a squeak. She shut her eyes tightly, waiting for impact...
only to land in strong arms. Her eyes snapped open and she looked upwards, confused. It was... another male? Being so close however, she caught a large whiff of his scent and her heart froze, before speeding up with panic. Wolf... it was a wolf's scent and one she recognized right off the bat,. it was one she smelt... way too often in the deep forests surroning mideel when she went out for a rare hunt or gallop for fun.
She was speechless as she was lifted to her own feet, barely able to stuttered out, "y-yes i'm fine..." She took a cautious step back.

Shiro walked down the small path from the house to the road. Once hitting the road, the sound of his good shoes could be heard against the gravel. A lot of people stopped and looked at the man for a second, some sneering that he could be a possible worker for ShinRa. He already looked like one with his white lab coat and white dress pants. It all reminded them of Rufus...
But, he didn't exactly see these looks... and wouldn't of cared if he could. He just needed to pick up his sisters and leave. Blonde hair blew also from the breeze as he was getting to the edge of the town where the school was. He was hoping that they were waiting for him outside.
Slowly he reached the school ground. He could tell from the silence after a bunch of arrogant children walked by him. They had no respect... "Suki? Mera?"
Isaaru noticed that the girl looked frightened. That was the last thing he wanted her to be. He kept his soft mako eyes on her and smiled. "That's good.... you wouldn't want your dress to get dirty." He looked down a bit and smiled. Yes... he recognized her smell now... She was that kit that had accidentally bumped into her while she was practicing hunting... and by the looks of it, she knew exactly who he was too.
Looking around a bit, noticing that they were completely alone... he said something that would be extremely odd hearing between two humans. "Don't be afraid huh? I was never planning on eating you..." He smiled more and nodded. "Rabbits and rats use to fill me up huh...? But now I'm strictly human... so don't be afraid." He reached out and patted the girl's head friendly. "My name is Isaaru."
He blinked though as he heard a voice coming from behind him. He looked back and pulled his hand from her head. The man in white coming towards the school had a familiar scent too... but a very old and distant one. However, it was obvious to see that he was not a Jakku. He had Jakku scent all over him though as he got closer. He...lived with them?
He backed up a bit, making sure that the man didn't think Isaaru was doing anything 'funny' with the pretty girl.

Though Shiro was blind he was not deaf. He must of heard even a few of the sudden whisperings going on around him, the mako ears picking up even little parts of sentences:
"Shinra.... think he..."
"What... build... reactor?"
"...Children ...SOLDIER?"
"Heard... scentists..."
"...experiment?"
Suki couldn't help but flush as she was pat on the head as some kind of... kind of dog! She tossed her head a bit, but her trembling had lessened - no matter what though she couldn;t stop the instinctive fear. Her mother... had always told her about wolves that had chased her back home, that they were reckless and unceaseingly chaseing you.
And the image of the wolf cast in moonlight, blood staining his teeth and feral look about him could not leave her mind,
"I-I'm Suki." She stuttered out. She didn;t know how far to trust this wolf. they weren;t sly like foxes - they didn't tend to plan things in a devious way. if he was trying to kill her, he would of just done it, humans or no humans.
Her tail twitched under her skirt and she turned, hearing her brother's voice. she swallowed hard, sending Isaaru a look, before walking to her blind sibling's side, putting as hand on his arm. "I'm here." she murmured quietly, desperatly trying to keep ther tremble from her voice. she wasn't SCARED damnit all!
But she sure would have felt safer with Mera or Blaze there. She was the least animalistic of her siblings. she could barly hunt, didn;t like to fight... she HATED burrowing into anything that wasnlt a soft mattress full of warm blankets.
and she absolutely loathed mating season - because it was the only thing that got to her.
