"ARGH!"
The sword hit the blunt bark of a training tree. Ever since his home world had been destroyed, nothing had been right. Pushed into an escape pod, he was blasted away from his family.
"BROTHER! Don't let me go!!"
A vision of his sister popped into his head and he slammed his sword into the bark again. If only he could of help onto her hand tighter...she'd be by his side.
This new world that he was brought to was nothing but a training camp. A place of hate and unforgiveness. Him and many other boys were being trained to keep the local towns safe...not him. He was training to save this world from itself. He had lost his last home, he wasn't going to loose this one.
He hit the bard again and sighed. He had been at it for a few hours now. His head master was late and it was getting dark. All of the other boys had gone back to their bunk...but he wanted to learn SOMETHING today.

" Your trying to hard..." a figure from the shadows slowly walked in the boys direction, he wore a black hooded cloak and had a large scythe over his back " I don see why they keep training you children... Spira will never win against sin, this entire world is nothing but a spiral of death..." he just stood there watching. It was true though... no matter what they did... the so called "calm" it was nothing but a fake, it was impossible to keep the monster at bay. So many summoners throwing away there lives... It just didnt make any sense to him. Though this wasnt even his world... he had come to consider it his own...

The boy turned around and jumped. "Who are you? Stay back!" He pointed his sword at the figure and growled. "I will defeat Sin...I will." He moved his eyes behind the man to see if anyone was around. No one.
"Listen...I advise you that you leave. My master will be here soon and he doesn't allow people like you here."

" Your master wouldnt last very long against a person like me" he said pulling down his hood revealing his face and his long brown shoulder length hair. " Im a former guardian... to a summoner who worthlessly through her life away... just like all of them..."

His eye grew large and put his sword in it's seath. "I am sorry." He bowed the traditional way to bow in Spira. "Please forgive me..." He blinked and stood straight again. "What do you mean by 'throw her life away'?" He looked around with his eyes to see if anyone was around.

" Sin cant die... its the way things go... every time..." he just turned and started to walk off, it was wrong to be telling this to a child. It would just kill his hope, and that much was wrong.

The boy just watched him walk off. "Well...WAIT!" He ran after him. "I don't want to be training for the wrong thing. You were a guardian right? So you must know stuff that the others don't." He sighed as he tried to keep up with the stranger. "Hey...this isn't my world. The last thing I want to do is waste my time in it." He pulled the stranger's cloak, turning him towards him. "My world was destroyed not to long ago...I know only a few escaped...I shouldn't be one of them...but...but I have this feeling like I am suppose to change something now. Like my world depended on me to go to another world and make a change...for the good of things. This world is a mess...I don't understand it and I don't really care. I just wanted to be someone...someone that people will remember...No one will remember my old world if I don't make a change. Maybe you can help?"

" My only advice for you is to forget, forget everything that you have ever tried... and just push it away. You are way too young to be thinking of the past of such things... different world or not." He just stood there staring down at the small boy " Live your life to what you can... and stay away from Sin... its impossible to kill thats all you need to know boy."

"Hey! Listen to me...you wouldn't of come here to tell me this. Come on...you were a former guardian...so...is that what you do now...of the rest of your life? Just tell people to stop believing in things? What you're doing won't work...people need to believe something you know..."
He let out a long sigh. "I don't care about Sin or anything like that. It's not my problem. Look...I feel like I'm living for two people now. I just can't stay here and do nothing."

The boy looked up at the stranger and frowned. "Whatever...you're just selfish." He turned away and walked back to his training trunk. He pulled out his sword and started bashing at it. Even if he wasn't following the right way...he was at least trying. He needed to do this...so he could sleep.
Visions of her kept popping into his mind and all he drempt up was the last hours of his planet. He couldn't just be selfish anymore...

The boy trained until his hand started to bleed from chips of bark ripped into his skin. He plopped onto the ground and rested against the tree. His sword soon slipped from his hand as he drifted off into sleep.
He walked outside his house and yawned. He looked up at the sky and covered his eyes from the sky. "Miku! Miku, over here!" He looked down the street and saw a young girl pointing to the water. He laughed and walked down to her. "What is it Hana?" "Look! It's a dolphin!" She pointed out into the water and Miku looked closer. "haha, that's not a dolphin...that's just a log."
The blonde headed girl touched her lips and frowned. "Well..I saw it move..."
A harsh pain hit the boy's side. He flinched and grabbed the ground tightly, uprouting the grass. His eyes were wet as his head tossed back and forth on the tree bark.
"Well, that's not anything but a log." He grinned at his little sister and walked back to the house. Suddenly the ground started to shake. "AHHH!" The sky grew dark and Miku looked back in horror. The so called log had turned into a huge water monster. Hana stood there frozen as she looked at the monster. "MIKU! HELP ME!" She screamed and started to run...but it was too late...The monster has grabbed her. "Hana! HANA!"
"HANA!" The voice echoed through the forest. The boy's hair was drenched with sweat. His large blue eyes dashed around as he grabbed his sword tightly. It was only a dream...she didn't even die that way. He let the sword go and burried his head into his hands.

He sighed as he picked up his sword and started towards his room. There had to be a way to get her out of his head...why not his parents? Why not everyone else screaming around him. Maybe because her hand was the last thing he would ever touch in that world. Maybe his master could clear some of this stuff up. He learned about this world from some other boys...but never got the real story...maybe he could do more with more information. His master would probably be more helpful than that selfish stranger.
