My dearest Dunpeal

The mist in the forest was heavy as it beated around the tree trunks. The sounds of toads and small birds seemed to sound hollow in the abandond woodland.
Through the fog, a shadow walked through to where it seemed to be no where. The fog cleared slightly to reveal the shadow to be a woman...

Foot...no, hooves could be heard coming towards her. She turned around quickly to see two giants glaring down at her. She returned the glare and held out the only thing has had, a wooden pole. The giant demons smirked at her pathetic attempt to stop them.

"Move aside...we are but Kain's offspring" one of the beast snarled.

"I know excactly what you scum are." He frowned as she held her ground. "These are my woods...and to go through them, you need to pay a toll."

"A toll?" the other laughed. "No begger will stop us from seeing Kain."

"10 gil...that's all i ask..." The black haired woman held out her hand, her dark blue eyes fixed on them.

The beasts looked at eachother and nodded. One reached behind, making it look like he would pay the fee. Instead of gil, he pulled out a net, the other pulled out ropes.

After an intense struggle and a bash to the head, the vampires went on their way...with some extra luggage.




The steel bars closed and a few snickers were passed around the room. The beast walked up the stairs and only a lone Vampire watched over the doomed prisoner.

The woman from the woods opened her eyes to find herself in rags, her dress had been taken apart for the cloth of vampiric needs. She growled as he ran to the bars and looked out. "Let me out of here! You don't know what you just got yourself into!"

The watchguard smiled as he walked to the cage and suddenly backhanded the woman. "Silence...you should start thinking about your last words...for tomorrow will be your last day as a begger."

She growled at him. "I am a witch, not a begger!"


The two catching vampires walked to the grand hallway and bowed infront of a large throne. "My lord...we have another on to sacrifice...she's in the dungon now and will be taken out tomorrow morning for your inspection."

[Jade]

Kain stared down at the two curiously " so soon? I didnt expect to have another broughten to me with such haste." He clicked his claws against his throne repeatedly. " Just bring it now, my thirst doesnt feel like waiting till tommorow."

They nodded and ran back to the dungeon.
They walked down the long stairway into the cold darkness. When they reached the bottom, they looked at the keeper and nodded. "He wants her now..."
The keeper nodded and opened the gates.

The two beast grabbed the woman and dragged her up the stairs.

She kicked and screamed the whole way up, cutting their arms up with her sharp nails. When they came up and out of the dungeon, they walked to the palace where their master waited.

When they got to him, they threw the woman down to the floor and stood back.

She stood and glared at them. Her eyes turned a light green as she focused her energy. A sudden fireball flew at one of the pillars and destoyed it. It fell ontop of a few vampires who stood near it.

The rooms filled with growls and some started to attack her. She growled as silver shards started to form in her hands and she stuck them into the attacking beast

Kain just sat there staring curiously " A witch?" he stood up slowly and started walking down from his throne " how interesting." He suddenly gave the other Vampires a look directing them to back off.

The vampires did as kain ordered and stood away from the woman.

The woman panted as she glared at every beast. Why had they stopped?
She turned slowly to see a large vampire walking down the throne.
She coughed and wipped some blood and sweat from her face and hands. Her eyes did not move from the large beast's sight.

Kain came to a stop directly infront of her and just stared down " its the first time ive seen a human with such a power" he reached up placing his hand on her cheek " it makes me wonder"

She growled and smacked his arm away. "Don't touch me! Who the fuck do you think you are!? I am a wicth...and I'll kill all of you someday!" She swung and looked at all the glaring vampires.

Kain smirked folding his arms as he just stared at her curiously " I smell so much fear, dont worry I do not intend to kill you, yet..."

[Rikugurl]

She looked up at him and glared. "you should be the one afraid!" She backed away, showing all the beast around her the silver in her hands.

One of the beast frowned. "What will we do with her?"

[Jade]

Kain laughed " Leave us." he walked up placing his hand over the silver " Its funny the things humans think will harm us, crosses, stakes, silver all useless"

[Rikugurl]

The clan looked around at eachother and frowned. They did as they were told and left the room.

The woman glared at him and suddenly spit in his face. She backed away and ran towards the closed doors. She grabbed the handle and pulled with all her strength. It wouldn't budge. she knew her life was going to end soon if she didn't find a way out...

She didn't know who this beast was...but he seemed quite powerful...and not something she could handle.

[Jade]

" I dont usually toy with my meals" he said staring at her from across the room.

[Rikugurl]

She looked over at him and growled. She then looked down and closed her eyes. Her body slowly started to glow and she knelt down to the floor. A black mist surrounded her. She suddenly threw her arms into the air, turning them into wings. Her eyes turned a glowing yellow as she continued to morph. The mist blew away and a raven flew out from it. It flew to the top of the hall and perched on a high statue.

[Jade]

He stared over at the bird and smirked lifting up his hand " Do you actually think you can fool me?" he gripped his fist sending a choking feeling directly to her neck.

She gagged and flapped her wings. She couldn't give up now...maybe turning into a rat would have been a better idea. She gripped her talons into the statue the best she could and hoped for the best...he wouldn't eat a bird would he?
