"Is that so? How very interesting." Sanyi was saying in return, looking not at all at the flower but at her with a goofy grin. "You know, I want to become a great dragon-trainer one day. But I apparently still have so much to learn~" And Tensai slowly realized it as well, glancing at Roxel to see him grinning in a knowing way. Wow, he got it after Xel?! Hopefully he was just having a bad day - he would hate to be that oblivious! He cleared his throat, catching their attention. "We're actually headed to Florama right now."
The Tauros seemed to be at peace now, his eyes in upturned little U's as he grazed on some flower, not bothering to fight the grip of the small fighting-type as he was dragged back to the others. However, it was not the same feeling for all of them. There was a loud neigh, the Ponyta fighting the impressive grip of the young male not liking the idea of being near this young male who antagonized his master so.

"Hehe~~" Namine giggled, giving the other a firm nod. "Don't worry. We can never stop learning. Someone who claims they know everything, no nothing at all~" She spoke some words of wisdom but before Sanyi could embarrass himself anymore, Tensai butted in. "Oh? Great! I can show you around. I'm actually not from around here but I do hope I can become the Nurse Joy for Florama's Pokecenter. Pokemon really love it here and it just seems like a ideal place for a wounded pokemon to find some help, you know? Come on!" With a tap of her heal ball, Totem disappeared in a pink ray of light and was attached to her hip, which Sanyi watched uncontrollably. "It's this way." The girl pointed, heading off down the trail they originally came through.
As Namine walked further away, Sanyi was suddenly shoved by the famous Tellus daughter. "You poochyena! You're going to have to act more oblivious to things if you're going ton convince her. You should take lessons from Tensai and Roxel." "HEY!" Roxel pouted. He figured it out eventually! Still, Draco was called back and they all hurried after the nurse in training.
What they saw as they headed down the hill was rather amusing. The little puppy was still dragging the larger bull back towards his master and the young brunette was making a peace offering to the fire horse, offering some grass he had picked to feed him. Unfortunately for him, he would had to do better than--- "OUCH!" Gunnar hissed, pulling his hand away and rubbing it, watching the stubborn horse chomp on the grass. He glanced back when he heard some noise and growled at the blonde coming up to him. "Your damn horse almost bit my fingers off!"
"Oh~ He wouldn't do that. He's a sweetie!" A few pairs of eyes turned to look back at the ponyta, seeing Namine rubbing the tough fur between Hotaru's eyes. "Wow... she's kinda hot." A tongue ran over Gunnar's lips but just as he did, he suddenly tasted dirt. "ACK! PHEW!" The boy spat out a clump of it, hardly realizing that he had been tripped by the water obsessed boy!

"I think she's taken," Tensai whispered to Gunnar as he got up, looking miffed and annoyed at being tripped pointing to how Sanyi seemed to be hovering close to Namine like a lovestruck puppy, despite Bonnie's advice.
"Of course he's a sweetie, he's mine~" Roxanne said proudly, running her hand down Hotaru's mane fearlessly, the fire tail swishing happily at all the attention he was getting. Another hand pet along the broad back of a large bull who followed her without question, Lucina smirked proudly when she heard Roxanne's words. "Hmph, he's not as sweet as my Ferdinand~" Came a challenging call that made Roxy's eyes blaze, the two girls temporarily forgetting their truce between each other. Some habits never died.
"Uhh okay! So, to Florama!" Tensai jumped in before they could start a real cat fight. "We'd best hurry before it gets dark and all..." Never mind it was barely the afternoon. Namine stepped in saying it was hardly a mile away, well within walking distance and this made Gunnar complain about why he had to watch three dis-tempered Pokemon that whole time then?! Roxel, unhelpfully, put in that Gunnar offered to watch them to stay out of the girly field. Which of course started yet another fight Tensai quickly broke up by mentioning they should start thinking about lunch!
"Oh yes!" Sanyi said happily as he trotted beside Namine, his eyes full of stars, "What kind of food do you like Miss Namine? You will join us of course? Maybe teach us a bit more about Pokemon care? It will be out treat." Bonnie huffed. That meant her treat.

Was she truly this naive or was she totally soaking up the attention? It was truly hard to tell as they followed the dragon trainer and his miss all the way to town, neither of them leaving enough room for anyone else to talk. Luckily, Namine was right. It only took them about 15 minutes to get to town that was quite charming. Even with all the flowers around, people had flower gardens and happy looking grass pokemon helping with their gardening. Some townspeople looked up, waving to the group as they passed by.
They found a cute little shop at the edge of the town. It was a family owned restaurant that only used natural herbs and flavors from the gardens and flowers of Floaroma Town. Eating healthy wasn't always on a traveler's menu but Tensai was rather use to it thanks to his daddy Riku. As they started to eat, they realized that healthy didn't mean flavorless! "So what are you guys doing out here?" Namine asked but before anyone could get a peep in (even Sanyi), she leaned in and gave them a bright smile. "Are you traveling for badges?" "Well, some of us are. Some of us are just tagging along for encouragement. Like myself. Maybe you haven't heard of me but I'm Bonnie Tellus? I'm a pokemon coordinator and---"
"Have you won any badges yet?" Bonnie frowned, totally being rudely ignored! "I have~" Gunnar grinned from across the table. He reached into his pocket and pulled out not one but two small cases, showing it to the girl. One was completely full, showing that he had already won 8 badges from one region and was getting more in this one. "Woooow, have you battled in the League yet?" "Nah~ I still have some stuff to learn~" "Oh right!" Namine giggled, her cheeks flushing some which only made Sanyi try to outshine the brunette.
"This is going to be a looooooooooooooong day." Roxel sighed, popping a poffin into his mouth soporifically. Girls always made things so complicated. That calm air they were trying to contain was flying out the window when this chick came around.

Floaroma town was stunning. It was no wonder why Ven had taken Terra here for their fifth anniversary. The scents here were sweet, the aroma in the air peaceful as sunflower and Bellossom hid in the flowers playfully, as Beedril, Beautifly and Butterfree rested on flower patches and the ever rare Bulbasaur or Chikorita could be seen sun-bathing. And there were so many flowers of so many colors and so many species – just as grand if not more so than the field. Terra must have had his breath taken away, just seeing it. And this Restaurant! Riku would have been proud to know people were substituting the old, fatty ingredients for more natural substitutes – in fact, if it wasn’t for the fact that Tensai knew his dad loved the ocean more than anything, he was sure he would of liked to live here and OWN this restaurant. But even though the world outside was peaceful as Splenda-mixed pie, inside in their own confines, things were barely holding on by the seams, stretching tight like a coin purse with one too many quarters added in. Eventually, something was going to burst.
”But you know-“ Sanyi was ever quick to step in, kicking Gunnar under the table and making him mutter a curse. “There’s more to being a trainer than winning badges.” “Yeah!!” Roxy snapped in before Sanyi could continue, infuriated both by the woman’s rudeness to her girlfriend and – okay well, that was enough reason to be pissed. “Like coordinating! Bonnie and her Pokemon are the most amazing you’ll ever see!” “How about music?” Tensai said cheerily, grinning at his best buddy, “When Xel and his Pokemon get together, they make the most beautiful songs!” “Rescuing comes in handy I suppose.” Lucina added, calmly taking a bite of her salad before pointing her fork at the Xipil twins. Some of them were surprised she spoke up at all. “These two really saved Sal’s butt.”
This perked Namine’s interest, and of course she asked what had happened. The team (A.K.A. her new slave know as Sanyi) was happy to oblige, sharing a shortened version of the rescue attempt – the Almasy and Xipil pairs stepping in at certain times to make sure their pride wasn’t sacrificed. “And… well that’s that. And it’s why we’re all traveling together.” Roxy finished the story off, cutting up her herb fish in little bite-sized pieces. And then Sanyi just had to say it, like he couldn’t help it, with that dreamy, stupid look on his face. “Do you wanna join us too? I bet you and Roxy and Xel can all teach each other a thing or two about Pokemon care.” Roxanne choked. Where had that come from!? Her face flamed – and this little wench. Teach HER? She had been saving baby Pidgey since she was five! If anything she was qualified to be a Nurse Joy since she was eight!! And there it was. Their extra quarter. Things were already strained – the Xipils and the Almasy’s were doing their best to get along but even after just a few days, the sharp tongued taunts and occasional sneer was working its way back into their routine. Another person? How could they make it work when things were already so torn? “You’re kidding right?” Roxanne spoke up before Namine could, giving her cousin a hard stare.

Unfortunately, none of these quarters that burst out would bring any peace with a leisurely trip to the arcade. Gunnar rose his eyebrow, his eyes turning to look at Roxy and Bonnie who looked completely offended. Looked like the Almasy weren't the only kids blowing smoke up their ass. Bonnie had a real pride completion too and he knew exactly where she got it from.
"Roxy..." Xel frowned, gripping her arm some. Why was she acting like this!? Were all girls full of envy for one another?
Poor Namine paused her thoughts, hearing the rude comment come from no where. That was when she suddenly understood what was going on here. A glance towards Sanyi and those heart eyes and goofy face said it all. She turned to look at Roxy and Bonnie who were glaring at her like she did something wrong and in her excitement, she was sure she had said or done something. Though she wasn't truly blonde, she had some moments like her dad. "O-oh... hehe.... well...." Her finger rose, swirling into her hair nervously. "There's really no need for me to join. I mean, you have two amazing rescuers," She indicated Roxel and Roxanne, "a Pokemon coordinator," She pointed to Bonnie, "and very strong trainers." She ended with Tensai, Gunnar and Lucina. "There's really no need for me to come along. Besides, to tell you the truth, having pokemon rescuers are all your truly need..."
Some looks softened, hearing Namine's voice lower as her once bright eyes turned down to the table. "A Nurse Joy can do so much... Pokemon Rescuers are hard working people who take care of the most severely injured pokemon. All we as Nurse Joys can do is help with small injuries, exhaustion and illness but of course... so can rescuers. If it wasn't for the fact that Nurse Joys also give out starter Pokémon to trainers in towns or cities without Pokémon Professors and adhering to their role as government workers, they are also inspectors for the Pokémon Inspection Agency grading Pokémon gyms. They also judge Pokémon Contests and the Grand Festivals. But...." Her perky, waved hair began to droop. "In all honestly.... there isn't a need for Nurse Joys at all anymore...."
The table grew silent for a moment but they all became startled when Namine stood. "Well, thank you very much for the treat. I should really be on my way."

His dream shattered around his ears just as quickly as it begun, as Namine stood and suddenly bid a hasty farewell - and then she was gone before Sanyi could splutter out a 'For the love of all dragons, wait!' Okay, he wouldn't of said that, but still he sat there dumbstruck at her sudden disappearance before he spun around, glaring daggers at his cousin, "You can't be nice to anyone, can you?!" "Excuse me?!" Roxanne cried, "She wasn't exactly miss perfect politeness either. Besides Sanyi, what the heck did you think was gonna happen? We were just going to travel along and it would just magically work out for you?!" "Hey you get to travel with your girlfriend. Would it kill you to to let anyone ELSE be happy?" Sanyi snapped before pushing away from the table, hurrying from the restaurant to, predictably, chase after Namine.
...What!? Lucina rose an eyebrow, looking at Roxanne and then slowly at Bonnie, wondering if he meant that in the valley-girl girlfriend way or if he really meant...
"Miss Namine wait up!" Sanyi cried, spotting the blonde fairly easily in the afternoon sun, hurrying after her once he spotted her, catching her arm, "Hey listen... don't mind them. Roxy can always get a little... well like that about everything."

Roxel bit his lip, sinking further and further into his chair. Thankfully he didn't like his meal much. Though he was as skinny as a rail, he really only liked things that weren't healthy for you! He never heard Sanyi sound so angry before. His dad did warn him about the quiet type but sheesh! Roxy could be the worst...
"Good residence." The brunette mumbled, about to begin eating again when she felt eyes on her. Through mascaraed eyelashes and pass eyeliner and eyeshadow, Bonnie glared at Lucina who was giving her quite the look. Yes, even through their journey, Bonnie made sure she kept up her glamor. She was a star, not to mention a Beauty coordinator, she had to keep up her appearance. He dad if she could look so good doing something, that was even more impressive. "And what are you looking at? Never seen lesbians before??" This time, it was Gunnar who choked, coughing enough to make him drink nearly half his lemonade. When he could finally breath, he leaned back and smiled. "Ha! This trip is getting better and better~"
THUMP!
"GAAAH!!" His sister wailed him one, making his chair fall backwards with him in it.
"Ut..." Namine came to a stop when she felt a hand around her arm and looked back, seeing Sanyi a little out of breath. She gave him a bright smile, considering the situation. "Oh, don't worry! It's alright... Not all rescuers are.... are.... oh, well that doesn't matter." She pushed the issue aside, not wanting to look like she was just there for pity. "It's been really nice meeting you. I'm just glad your Draco is alright. That's what truly matters to me. I'm sure we'll cross paths again, Sanyi..."

And that was all it really took to break the nervous tension, the kids at the table falling into chuckles and laughter at poor Gunnar's fate.
"B-But...." But for Sanyi, as she pulled away, he got the other flip of the lucky coin - you know, because some people didn't use double-sided coins to always win. But he knew better than anyone, if he let Namine walk out of his life now, he'd never see her again. But what could he say to convince her to stay?!
....Well, when in doubt, he did what his Uncle Terra always said to do.
He looked around the area in panic, reaching out and taking a beautiful spotted yellow-orange flower, a lily flower, hurrying after her. "Miss Namine wait!" When she paused, he held up the flower, a striking similarly to her strawberry colored hair. "Please, let me offer this as an apology. I did not ask for you to accompany us for my friends to insult you or humiliate you." He smiled to her, very delicately, "And I believe you are wrong. There are many needs for a Nurse Joy still today. My Uncle Riku... he was a bit antisocial as a kid but his dearest friend was a Metagross. He was badly wounded in battle - twice as I remember - and it was no rescuer who saved him wither time... it was a Nurse Joy." He smiled shakily as she took the flower, "What you are doing is more grand than you realize. When a Pokemon is hurt, no one things to run to a rescue center - it is a Pokemon center they hurry to... if you keep learning, you're going to make an extraordinarily difference in the world Miss Namine. One day, you could even be saving someone's closest friend."

Pretty, bright eyes looked down at the flower, listening to Sanyi's tale. The flower twirled in her fingers, it's colors radiating in the sun. Her mom always liked flowers and enjoyed giving them as gifts, even when she was a little girl. Most people thought it was the most obvious, cheep gift to give someone because it was so overdone but her mom didn't think so. She said it was simple gifts like flowers that went a long way. They lasted for hundreds of years and they even survived the floods. Flowers gave people hope and even when picked, and they die, one can never forget if you keep the pedals. Their beauty lasts as potpourri.
Her eyes began to water, his words so kind and his thoughts so sincere. She never looked at it that way and it made her have faith again in being a Nurse. He was suddenly grabbed and hugged tightly, their bodies coming close together. "Oh! Thank you Sanyi! You're so sweet!"

"Y-Your welcome..." Cheeks burst flame red, another goofy smile falling onto Sanyi's lips as he hugged her back - he was hugging a girl! A girl he liked!! Okay, okay, he had to be cool about it! What would Gunnar do? "It's all real muscle too baby~" His thught-Gunnar said, flexing his muscles. Okay, too unromantic. Why would he think of Gunnar anyways - no girl would like someone that prideful! How about Tensai? "Err... wanna read a book?" ..................... Roxel? "EWWWWWWWWWWW GIRL COOTIES!" Wow, his cousins were kind of gay. And very unhelpful, even in his mind.
"So um... Do you wanna go... and um........... do an activity together?" ............That was so uncool. And maybe a little perverted. "I mean, uh, um! What... do you usually do for fun? You must have been erm... traveling alone for a long time..."

A giggle came from the girl's mouth as Sanyi tried to correct himself. He was kinda strange but definitely cute. Was he asking her out on a date? "Hmmm, you know... no one asked me that question before and now that you mention it, I'm really not sure. I absolutely love playing ball but..." She blushed, glancing around the town. "That would be kinda reckless playing a sport with so many flowers around. I love collecting pretty rocks too and watching movies and OH! I like watching the clouds too." She had very simple interest, probably because she traveled alone. "I know probably none of this seems like fun to you.." And she was shocked when the boy suddenly grabbed her hand and walked her back to the field so they could watch the clouds.
Meanwhile, the bill was paid and the rest of the group headed back to the local Pokemon center. Sure enough, they met Floaroma's Nurse Joy, who, as they realized why Namine wanted to take her spot, was elderly. "Hi. My name is Gunnar Almasy and I just wanted to check on the status of my Salamence. He is being taken care for in Jubilife City." "Oh sure~" She spoke kindly, turning to the computer behind her. Some buttons were pressed and the screen changed several times. the whole group blinked and looked over at the healing machine, seeing a pokeball suddenly appear. The nurse took it gently and handed it to the boy. "Here you are. I guess he made a miraculous recovery! He must have missed you~"
"Great! Thanks!" Gunnar smiled, looking over the pokeball. It was brand new. Together, they all walked outside and watched as the brunette tapped the ball, making it larger in his hand before a ray of blue shot out and a large dragon appeared. They were sure Sanyi would come running but after a few minutes, they assumed he was somewhere with 'Miss Namine'. "SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!" "Hey Sal! you look great!" Gunnar smiled, rubbing his dragon's chest, noting a healing wound in his right breast. As the Almasy's and the rest looked over the dragon, Roxel stayed back, smiling proudly as he saw the dragon was good as new. He couldn't wait to tell his dads!

"Hey ya big lug!" Lucina said, her tone cheerful as she hugged one of the dragons massive forepaws, laughing as she was given a nuzzle. Roxanne and Roxel watched with a smile. Things seemed to be alright so far.
So, how did it happen? Roxanne wasn't sure - but after nearly an hour of begging, and pleading, and wallowing in self pity- they had, or more so, she and Bonnie were convinced, that having Namine around would be alright and sure she'd train her some.
And of course, Tensai, being Tensai, accepted her with open arms. And Roxel, being his best friend, followed his example. And Lucina, being Lucina, would so anything to get her nerves riled and was nice as pie to Namine. And of course Sanyi doted on her, at her beck in call in seconds.' And Gunnar didn't seem to particularly care at all, but every so often was now dropping hints at seeing some girl-on-girl action.
It made Roxanne sick.
They made it to Eterna though without killing each other, which was a blessing. But between Juilife and there, they found they had already eaten up most of their food supplies and decided to go to the market.
"No snacks, we need real food!" Roxanne said to Roxel strictly, knowing he was bound to run out of money faster than her due to his sweet tooth. 'Uh-huh. No problem." Roxel said, speeding.... right for the candy section. What a surprise. "Well if you starve-!" She tried to threaten but he was gone. "Oi..." "I'll make sure he saves some of it," Tensai said with a smile, following his friend down the aisle - but most likely just to pick out some treats for himself! "I'm going to have to confiscate their money." She mumbled to herself. "So Mis Namine, tell me, what are the best foods to give to Pokemon?" She heard Sanyi saying as they headed down a different aisle making Roxanne roll her eyes and then she looked around, noting Lucina and Gunnar were already gone too, looking for some soda! "Ugh! It's up to us Bonnie." She said turning around, only to hit her forehead, seeing her girlfriend looking at some chips. "Boooonnnie... You know those won't last more than a day. And more than a week in your hips~" As fast as if she were a rabbit who heard a nearby fox, she sprang away. "Come on~" She said taking her girlfriend by the hand and leaning her too the canned goods and pasta section - stuff they could take with them that could be cooked over a fire in a large quantity.
The store wasn't terribly busy, just a few other people there - one a notably fat woman buying 'Lean' meals that weren't actually Lean - if you looked at the calories that is. "Okay, okay, how about this one and this one and that's it for now?" Tensai bargained, picking out two candy bars, and handing one to Xel. "That's it?!" "....Okay, maybe this one too." He said, reaching for a third when he heard the sound of the door-bell chiming, just like it had when they came in. It was such a common sound in a store he hardly took notice of it - but what he did spot was a sheen of silver that made his head whip around, thinking, for some reason, that it was his father. But when he looked, no one was there. He heard Xel calling, asking him what was the matter. "Nothing... I just thought I saw my-" "Hey guys!" They heard Sanyi calling in the small store. "You gotta come look at this!!"
In moments, they all gathered where Sanyi stood beside Namine, his hands comically full of things he didn't need in the short amount of time they had left the two to their own devices (Namine was either a hardcore shopper, or could shop fast). But that wasn't what he wanted them to see. "Look!" He jerked his head towards a television set, and they all glanced over at it, seeing that it was tuned to the news station. Bor. Ring.
But, what they were talking about, wasn't boring at all. The Headline underneath the anchorman was in bright letters: Jewel of Life - Threatened?
"-ay, an unsettling report came in that the access codes to the Jewel of Life have been stolen. It is stated they were taken from the sole intellect of this code, Damos Takachima. When questioned, he had this to say:" A man appeared on screen, who had dark blue eyes and a wrinkled face, obviously aged with exhaustion and stress. His brown hair was cropped short. "I didn't even see what happened. All I know is a haze attacked surrounded where I was and then something knocked me upside the head. Next thing I knew, half of my files were gone - including the code." "You don't seem very worried." The man smiled, secretively, "Well, I have been guarding the Jewel of Life for a long time and have lived a blessed life until now. I know the power it radiates and the truth it guarantees. I know we protect it for the good of our world, but Arceus is the most powerful being we can ever know; he watches over us and makes decisions we may not understand. Perhaps he wanted this to happen."

Roxel's pupils enlarged as he watched the idiot box, only knowing that it was called that if you wanted anything but the news, or at least that's what his uncle Riku said. He was such an adult! His mouth gaped in wonder, seeing an old stained glass window that portrayed the legendary pokemon; Arceus. He was the creator of the universe and with the held of Palkia, Dialga and many more, time and space were created, along with another world that reflected their own. This incident seemed unreal, as news of Teams trying to get the code for the jewel were caught over and over again but someone who did a Haze effect was able to do it?
Gunnar's arms crossed after setting a few of his goods down. Haze huh? There were only a handful of pokemon who knew that attack. Quite honestly, all those pokemon were Team types. This had to be a team...
As they watched the rest of the news cast, Roxel unknowingly opened one of his candy bars and started gnawing on it. It was a bad habit of his that started when he was young. Every time he started to worry about something big, he had an urge to chew on something. What if Arceus was summoned? And what if this code got into the wrong hands? What was that guy thinking!? What needed to be changed in this world besides more junk food needed to be invented!? As the story changed, the group looked at each other, their faces a bit worried. "Maybe we should hurry and get to our hotel. We should definitely keep up with this story!"
"Speaking of hotels, this is the LAST one we're staying at unless you people have an idea on how to get money while we're traveling." Bonnie butted in, tapping her hand on her crossed arm. "I wasn't expecting I'd be paying for so many!" "Well, if it makes you feel better, I have my own cash?" Namine smiled. "GREAT! You can support your boy slave then." "Boy....slave....?" "We have our own cash too." Gunnar announced, but they all knew that since the Almasy truly got around. They all grabbed their item, Roxel trying to throw out his wrapper before they got to the counter but Tensai wouldn't let that happen.
One by one, the two cashiers helped the travelers with their goods, bagging it up and giving them some free supplies as advertised. "Great, that will be P16,223." The cashier said, placing Gunnar's bag on the counter. The boy reached for his back pocket but when he felt nothing at all, a shock of fear ran through his body. "Uhh..." He looked back, his hand reaching in both pockets... then the front pockets, and quickly ripped through his side bag. His wallet was gone! "Shit, has anyone seem my wall---"
Ding dingling~♪♫
All eyes shot to the door, seeing a flash of silver speeding out. "HEY!" The brunette pushed through the others, making Namine drop her bag. "EEEE!!!" When Gunnar got outside, he could see the figure running down the street, obviously sending out signals that he was up to no good. "HEY STOP!" For some reason, he had a feeling this person ganked his wallet. Too bad for them because Gunnar knew how to run.

And left behind, the crew blinked blankly, before they started to react. "Where are you going?!" "Hey Gun', wait up!!" "Ahh you nicknamed him G-" "NOT THE TIME TENSAI!"
And the shouts of the cashier echoed as they all ran out the door - but hey they paid for all their items at least! But there was no way they could chase after the brunette carrying the heavy stuff! And they quickly lost him in the busy crowd of Eterna City.
"Gunnar! HEY GUNNAR!" Lucina cried, standing on the side walk, her eyes scanning the sidewalks carefully, but her brother was out of sight. She looked back at her comrades, completely lost for words.
"Come on, let's get this stuff packaged up and we can take off after him!" Tensai suggested.
It hadn't worked out like he planned. He never expected to get caught, but once he was, he knew he couldn't stop running. Unfortunately for his stupid pursuer, he didn't know the town like he did. He cut down out of the busy streets, down an alley, hearing stomping feet clomping down after him. The brunette thought he had him - because midway down and coming up fast was a chain-link fence. "Stringshot," He murmured to his shoulder, and suddenly, a filmy white string caught against one wall and stretched to the next - a perfect trap for the other to-
WHAM!
-Run into.
The brunette winced on the ground, feeling new scrapes and bruises, his feet tangled in the substance as he struggled to get free, but he looked up just in time to see the thief scaling the fence in no time, pausing at the top edge and looking back down at him. He got a good look at him. Silver-hair, slightkly long and cut just above the shoulders. A smooth, flawless face, A sharp nose. Green, green eyes that, in the trick of the light, seemed to glow in a cattish way. And he gave him a smile and saluted him, as if he were a soldier or a helpful patron to his needs (A.K.A. the stolen money), before jumping from the fence to the other side and continuing on his way.
