"And not only that, we will be heading through Floaroma Town too. My parents use to date there when they were first going out." Bonnie explained, knowing her daddy Terra was infatuated with flowers and he liked putting them in her daddy Ven's hair. He said the only time Ven would accept it and leave it in his hair was when he was Venita but she was sure Ven gave up after awhile. "But I thought your dads started to date when uncle Ven was Venita." Roxel pointed out, forgetting he had napkins which only made his twin roll her eyes.
"Wait a minute... did you just say Venita... as in Venita Troublefield?" Gunnar questioned suddenly, pausing from eating his spoonful of ice cream. "I thought she went missing. My mom loved her! Are you saying she was your dad??" "Yes, he was. Why? You got a problem with my dad dressin' drag?" Bonnie scoffed, her exotic eyes narrowing across the table at him. "No, no, Bon~" Roxel was quick to butt in, trying to stop their first fight. "It's just that Gunnar would look terrible in a dress!" Though it had nothing to do with their conversation, it was funny and made the whole group laugh and chuckle.
Cups and napkins were thrown away in the trash and Pokemon were returned to their balls. Though Sal would take a few days to recover, it would take a few days to get to Oreburgh City. And even if Sal recovered by the time they got to Eterna City, the Pokecenter could transfer Sal's ball so he could pick up his friend there. So, they headed off, deciding they would camp out for the night despite Bonnie alternitive suggestions. They got to the entrance of Ravaged Path when they decided to stop, the group laying their items around in a circle while some pitched up their tents and others went out to get water and fire wood.
There was a clank and some glanced back to see the Pokemon Coordinator rubbing the bottom of her feet. There was a comment that maybe heels wasn't the best footwear but a glare quieted him up quickly. "I ONLY know how to walk in heels. I can manage them fine... I'm just not use to this kind of walking." She ignored the hidden chuckles and readied the food, having been elected their chef, having learned from her father. The Xipil twins could help too seeing that their daddy Axel cooked all sorts of things. He even made magikarp taste good!

"No way!" Lucina was calling, the sun setting around them and giving way to the stars. The fire was warm as they sat around it, enjoying their dinner and talking about various things. But the most interesting was the conversation between the Alamasy daughter and the Holani son. "It's true!" Tensai claimed. "I don't believe it!" She shook her head. "It really is true! My dad got shocked by Zapdos! He has all these scars and stuff to prove it too - it's kind of neat."
The blonde wrinkled her nose and stuck out her tongue. "Ugh, what is with men and thinking scars are cool? My dad had this one, right across his face," She mimicked it on her own with her finger, "And he goes around thinking he's so ruggish and cool!" "It does." Her brother unhelpfully jumped in. She elbowed him. "It does not!" "Where'd he get it anyways?" Roxanne asked from where she sat on the other side of the fire - something that she always wondered but never got a chance to ask for... well obvious reasons. It was still strange, talking to the same woman who had taunted her for many years on an amicable basis... but they were trying.
"Because he's an idiot." She rolled her eyes, but with anyone watching her curiously, she explained, "When my dad was a trainer on his journey, he was... uh well... really... Ummm........ stupid." It was the only word to really describe it. "He didn't see the point in catching Pokemon to raise them, level them up and evolve them when there were already Pokemon that were in the world 'ready for the taking'. So one day, he's heres about this Garchomp on Mount Coronet the townspeople called Diablo - it was said to be the nastiest and stronger creature up there." She chuckled some, "Well, guess who thought it would be a bright idea to try and catch it all on his own? My dad. Here's the funny thing, Diablo wasn't very appropriately named - for one thing, she was a girl. For a second thing, she had a couple baby Gible." "Oooh," Sanyi winced, knowing what that meant. Dragon-types did not breed often. Once every two decades or so if that and usually no more than one or two - but they were highly protective because of this. But when they did have young, the mother grew almost unapproachable and dangerous. Anything she saw move was a threat. The only dragon-type he'd ever heard of being gentle when she had a young baby was Moana. "So, my dad challenged her - and well, it didn't end well. It used Slash and got him with one of it's claws on it's wing and well... there it is. But dad walks around like it's a trophy since he 'survived'." Lucina rolled her eyes. "Men!"

"Oh please, if that wasn't such a lame attempt, you'd like it too." Gunnar nudged her, slurping away his noodle soup, not full at all from the ice cream they had awhile earlier. Walking quite a bit made up for it. It was nice though he liked flying a lot more. "That story inspired me with the kinda of Pokemon I decided to raise. Strong and devoted." He smiled with pride, missing his sister roll her eyes at him.
Everyone seemed to be getting alone fairly well so far and though they still kept some distance from each other, they all helped with dinner. The only person who hadn't relaxed yet was Roxel, still unsure if he liked the idea of becoming friends with the Almasy kids. He didn't HAVE to be friends with them... just had to put up with them until Tensai was done with his journey. Yea! And then by that time, he would be a better trainer than he was now and wouldn't need their help! But for some reason, he wasn't sure if that was going to work. Man, why did Lucina have to rub his ego? "Sol..." The boy glanced down, seeing Sanuye was finished and resting by his side but obviously she could sense his worry. She had to have some psychic features too.
"Here's an idea." Bonnie began, noticing that the campfire was becoming quiet again. "Let's all state what our first pokemon was and why. I'll start and we can move clockwise." She gained some smiles before continuing. "My first pokemon was Buizel. I found him in our greenhouse one night when I heard him crying. Buizel aren't all that common but my aunt had one so I knew what it was. He had a splinter in his toe, which my dad help get out and ever since, we've been inseparable. He always liked doing trick and we started working together to make new ones. I didn't realize until my dad told me that we were doing things that would be great for Pokemon contest, so we decided to enter one with the help of my dad and won our first contest."
The dark-skinned girl began to glow when Lucina made a comment that she had seen a contest with her in it and how great she thought it was. "Roxy, you're next!"

Though, for the cousins these stories were nothing knew, they were fun to relive and Roxy jumped on her turn quickly. "Well, my first was Charlotte, my Mime Jr." She smiled before explaining, "The rescue center brought her over. They always bring Pokemon to the Haven when the center gets too full, and Charlotte just happened to be one that ended up in our hands. She was found in an old multiplex apartment building that was going to be demolished down in - and so they had the the nearby rescuers come in and relocate those who were healthy and then take in the rest of the ones who were sick or hurt. There were over 200 in the building - and about a third of who they found needed to cared for."
"Mime, mime!" Came a chime beside her. Roxy gave her a smile. "Well anyways, when I was really young I hated doing chores. They were never any fun - and because most psychic Pokemon live in urban environments, my fathers used old play areas - like the kinds you usually have for your kids, remodeled them and made it into a miniature town for those and other urban Pokemon. It's also a great place to hide and never be found and still get to have fun - because the slides are still there but under shelter." She giggled guiltily, not seeming to upset by her actions. "Well, one thing led to another, I met Charlotte, and everyday we always had a lot of fun. I even once spent the night out there with her during a rainstorm, because she doesn't much like storms and I wanted to protect her. We grew really close to one another for one reason or another and my parents just decided to let me keep her. She's been a great friend to me ever since."
She nudged her brother beside her. "Go on Bro~"

Stupid Bonnie and her stupid bonding exercise! Why couldn't she just let boys be boys and rivals be rivals!? They didn't need to bond, they just needed to walk around together and sorta interact. He gave an exacerbated sigh when he was nudged, glancing at her as if asking 'do I really have to?' but with a stern nod, he knew she would give him hell if he didn't fess up. Fine, what was a story anyway!?
"Well, my first pokemon was Melody, my Torchic. I was suppose to be doing chores to and one of my chores were to feed the pokemon in the coop. Our dads had taken a Blazikin mother from a cruel farm owner who worked her to so hard to make eggs for their company. They found her really malnourished when they were doing an inspection and took her away with all her unhatched eggs. There were like... twenty of them! Anyway, they all hatched and she became very protective of them. My dads had a lot of work to do with the torchics to make them all grow up healthy because the Blaziken could do so much for them all."
Now that he thought of it, he always wondered why there were so many when he was young. "Anyway, when they were old enough, we started giving them seed and grain and I was in charge of doing that every morning. Well, I was bored and though it would be more fun to play with the Torchic. I opened the gate and they all ran off, not really wanting to play with me. So, I ran after them because I knew I was going to get into a lot of trouble and at the time, didn't really know how to handle them very well so I tried to pick them up by their head feathers. They didn't like that very much and neither did their mom so she attacked me. Luckily, our large red gyarados, Riot, saved me."
He smiled, already missing Riot and his gentle, cool nature. He was still stocked that he wasn't always like that! "I started to cry but a single Torchic came up to me and sang me a tune, cheering me up. I always liked music and hearing her sing, which none of the others did, made me fall in love with her. She still sings prettier songs than Chatot!" The ball on his hip started to wiggle, knowing Adeline must have heard that. "Not including you!" They all started to chuckle and now done with his story, he looked next to him at Tensai but bit his lip, knowing Tensai's story was a bit deeper, at least name wise... "You're turn Ten-chan..."

Tensai smiled to his friend, seeing his concerned eyes, but he didn't seem too bother by it as he started to tell his story. "My first - well I kind of had two firsts. I got Moxley and Charlie so close together and I was so young I'm not sure who was first anymore. Moxley was the baby of my daddy Riku's Umbreon and my Daddy Sora's Furret, Margaret. I remember I called him that because my mother, used to love saying the word 'Motley' when describing things. I knew it meant a 'combination of things'. I had trouble saying my T's when I was young could never say it, so I always just say Moxley. And that's what I called the him, because he was born of two different Pokemon species - which I really thought was strange at the time because it made more sense that Pokemon would you know be together with their own species. Anyways, I got to keep him. But Charlie well..."
He chuckled. "I remember that day I first saw him. My parents they both are kind of exercise freaks. My daddy Sora always tried to raise his Pokemon to be fast - agility was his strong point so he raced and ran with his Pokemon all the time. My Daddy Riku well, he just loved exercise. And sometimes, when they didn't feel like running, they just took a walk. And when they did, they took me with them. And I just remember we were walking through town... and there was this pet store we passed. I looked in the window and right in the window was a litter of Smeargle." He bit his lip, then said carefully, as if the memory was hard to recall. "When my dad, my real dad, was still alive... he owned one. My dad was a painter and, of course, he had a painter Pokemon. So I knew exactly what they were and I begged and pleaded for my dads to let me have one. And, they eventually agreed, since I took such good care of their baby Pokemon in the house. When we went down to get one, there was only one left. He was perfect, because his paint color matches my eyes so we were both kind of special in that way. So, I named him Charlie."
He looked at the Pokemon at his side. "It was my dad's name. I named him after him because... it just seemed right to do so. I even named my parents' Lopunny Kali, because she was... really motherly - so I still felt like I had my real parents with me too. And well, that's the story."
There was silence in the wake of his story, the Almasy's taken a bit aback by the aching tale. Sometimes they often forgot... that Tensai, the twins, Bonnie and Sanyi even... none of their parents were there real parents. They were all adopted. And how painful that must of been for them...
Sanyi cleared his throat some to just fill in the sudden solemn silence, smiling at Tensai and giving him a pat on the shoulder. His cousin seemed relieved at having the spotlight off him, "Well, I guess it's my turn then. My first was my Draco, my Dragonite." He tilted his head, remembering clearly, "My mother Aqua, she really loves the water. If she could, she would live in it. So, in our back yard, we had this beautiful pond. But I hated it. I was four when the floods happened and I lived in Canaclave all my life." He glanced at the Almasy's.
"I'm sure you guys can guess what happened. Anyways, it's not really the water but... contaminated water. Well I'm not gonna bother talking about all that - anyhow, whenever I saw there was anything in the pond, like leaves, I called for my moms to clean it up. I did this every day for almost a year - and then one day, when I went to check the water, I spotted something else in it. A Dratini, splashing around." He smiled some, "I knew what it was instantly. My father, he practically worshiped dragon-type Pokemon. He even had this mural in our living room that showed a picture of each dragon-type Pokemon. I knew the names of all of them and who evolved to who by the time I was three." He said proudly. "Anyways, when I saw the Dratini, I actually... jumped in the water with him to play with him and called for my parents. My mothers figured I should keep him, since he was helping me with my fear and because we seemed attached to one another."
"Where did he come from though?" Lucina asked curiously. "We never found out. He was so young though that my mom was sure he was left there by a parent. But why a dragon would leave one... well, we aren't sure." Sanyi said, "But, after I got Draco, I really started to fall for dragon-types. They were so amazing and strong - so I started reading up all about them and them alone. And I remember there was this myth that sometimes, when Dragons go away to die and have young still to care for, they leave their children somewhere they believe is safe. So that's what I think might of happened. But well anyways, that was my story!"
So, with Sanyi done, Lucina told hers. "My first was Ferdinand, my Tauros." There were some chuckles, everyone remembered the overly friendly bull who was so happy to let her master ride on his back. "I don't know if you guys remember," She said, directing her comment to the Xipil twins, "But when we were kids there was a Tauros running loose on the ridges, just outside of town. He was causing some trouble, but no one could find it?" "I remember... maybe something like that." Roxy said, wondering where this story was going. "Yeah, I think a couple of our gates got trampled down too, but whatever did it was gone the next morning. We knew he was just trying to get to food and water, but my dads still weren't happy to rebuild it. And then he just sort of... disappeared. Wait... your not gonna tell me... thats that Tauros is now..."
"Heh, bingo~" She laughed and glanced at Gunnar beside her, seeing he definitely remembered this. "It was on picture day at school. I was nine. I remember my mom made me wear this awful dress for it - it was like a... a bright orange color" The girl made a face, "And then did my hair up in this weird style and put a small boquet of flowers pinned under my ribbons. She said I looked adorable... but I felt lime a geek. I hated the idea of going to school looking like that, so I ditched and Gunnar decided to ditch class with me. So we went to the park and of course no one was there because all the kids were in school or not up yet. We played on the swings and stuff for awhile... and then we took in the grass. When I woke up, there was something pulling at my hair. It turned out to be the Tauros everyone was talking about... eating the bouquet my mom put in my hair. That's why I named him Ferdinand - because he was just like the bull from that kid's story about the gentle Tauros who liked flowers."
Green eyes glimmered, lost in the memory of waking up to that large beast. "They say all Tauros are really aggressive and antisocial, but for some reason, I wasn't scared of him. I don't know if it was because I knew he wasn't going to hurt me, or because I was just too young to know any better. I had some pokeballs I got for my birthday and used one to catch him, and brought him home and then asked my parents if I could keep him. It took a bit of convincing, since they were worried he would be too much for me to handle, but daddy could never say no to me." "But wait, how come no ever knew that?" Roxy asked. "...It sounds like something you guys would err... brag about. No offense." "Heh.... Well....." Lucina blushed some suddenly. "Heh, my dad was worried that errrm some rescuer was going to er, take it away from us and 'save' it... so to speak and he didn't want that to happen so he decided we'd best keep it quiet." "'Some' Rescuer?" One fine blonde eyebrow rose, Roxanne skeptical but didn't need to clarify to figure out she meant her dad, Roxas. It was no secret between them that the two fathers hated each other. "Yeeeep... Anyways, Gunnar, your turn!"
Now, everyone looked at to the brunette, who was next - and last - in line.

For the first time in Roxel's life, he saw his rival tense when the spotlight was on him. Usually he shined and glimmered in it but with all the eyes on him now, in this fun and emotion topic, he could see Gunnar's eyes distance themselves as he thought of the past. "Well," he started, placing his cup on the ground and put his hands together and he spoke about a time long ago. "I got my first pokemon a bit sooner than my sister. When I was three, I was playing in five, I was playing in the backyard, tossing a frisbee with Lucina. I tossed it pretty far, making her run after it and when she was chasing it, a Pokemon suddenly jumped out of the forest that enclosed our yard."
"It was a Zigzagoon and it looked pretty friendly." He chuckled, though there was no humor behind it. "I knew my parents told me not to confront a pokemon without their permission or at least not when my big sister was around, but I got up and went to pet it anyway. I should have listened because next thing I knew, it bit me when I reached for it. So happens, it was carrying Pokerus." The whole camp became quiet again, all knowing how deadly the newish disease was when it first appeared. Most of them lost their grandmother due to it. "Thankfully their was a cure for it by then but unfortunately, it was still hard to find in our area. I instantly became very ill and was bedbound for weeks. When my parents still couldn't get their hands on the cure, my dad decided to go out and find the special berry and make it himself."
Everyone know what special berry Gunnar was talking about. A Lum berry. It was a cure all for any status ailment a pokmeon had and since Pokerus was a pokemon disease, it cured that too. But like most cures, this berry was hard to find and was rumored that it grew deep within forest. "So, my dad ventured right into the forest where that Zigzagoon came from and everyone became not only worried for me, but for dad too. He did eventually come back a few days later with quite a tale. Apparently he ran into a colony of Nuzleaf who gave him a lot of trouble for nearly a day with their pranks until he finally found a single Lum tree with a single berry left. When he reached out to grab it, a nuzleaf grabbed it away from him. They got into a fight but my dad wouldn't give up and being my bad, he lost his temple and grabbed the pokemon's nose. Well, so happens that's a nuzleaf's weak spot so she dropped the berry and began to cry."
A soft smile appeared on his face, glancing down at a particular pokeball. "My dad apologized and explained that he needed this berry to save me and even if the nuzleaf was hurt, she understood and actually followed him back home and helped him keep the other nuzleaf at bay. It had to be true because as he told the story and made the medicine, a nuzleaf was looking at me. I was given the cure and I slept for three days straight. When I woke up though, my sister and the nuzleaf were in bed with me on either side, waiting for me to get up to see how I was. I had my strength back and everyone was so happy. But the nuzneaf never left and stayed by my bed when I was getting better. She never said a word and always help with bringing me what I wanted. After awhile, I realized that she wasn't going back home so I named her Kemina, which means strong, and she's helped me capture my other friends and win me plenty of battles. Without her, I might not be here today to tell this story. Her and my dad, of course."

No one was really sure what to say after Gunnar told his story. Especially the Xipil twins, who never even knew their young rival, who always boasted about how strong he was... almost wasn't there rival at all. Moreso then anything, Roxanne felt a bit of the jealousy she held for the twins dissipate. She had always hated the fact that Lucina and Gunnar never had to know the pain she and Roxel went through with the loss of their parents... but now she realized she didn't know these two as well as she thought she had.
Finally, Tensai broke the silence, his voice cheerful, "You know, both my dad's were saved by Pokemon too when they were young. They always told me that Pokemon can tell when they're really needed. That bond you have with Kemina is really special. I'm glad though that she was willing to help and become your friend. You're definitely someone worth saving."
Both the Almasy's seemed a little taken aback and unsure what to say, but luckily, Sanyi rescued them - sort of. "Ten, how can you say stuff like that?!" He nudged him in the ribs playfully, "It's so unmanly!" "Hey! My dad taught me to speak with my heart!" "Yeah well, your dad's gay." "Hey!" "Well he is!!!" "Yeah well... well," Tensai's eyes narrowed as he tried to think of an appropriate comeback, "Your mom's gay!" "Well duh!" Sanyi laughed and pushed him, strong enough that he fell into Roxel. "Oi, boys are so stupid." Roxanne sighed.

A brown eyebrow rose, Gunnar looking across the fire at Tensai. That was a strange way to put it... He suppose he was right though, just expecting something like that coming from a girl. His head shook when Sanyi butted in and he chuckled, completely agreeing. What a weird bunch... After their small tickle fighter, where Tensai failed miserably and Roxel yelled at everyone to get their hands off his friend, they all retired for the night, finding shelter in their respected tent. Roxanne and Bonnie shared one, the three boys shared another and of course the Almasy kids had their own to share.
In the morning, a small breakfast got them going and they quickly packed up and headed to the path. This, of course, put the group to a test, seeing just who was fit for the rugged world and who wasn't. Everyone hiked the path fairly well but when it came to some climbing, Gunnar and Lucina again got ahead. Roxanne wasn't going to look like an idiot and Bonnie was right behind her.... IN HEELS! Tensai and Sanyi struggled up the walls but it was Roxel who looked like a complete fool, only able to climb up a few feet before falling down. He heard some encouragement from his friends but words could do so much, his flabby muscles nothing compared to Gunnar. Did that kid work out when he was six!?
Time was ticking and the brunette above got a bit impatient. "Someone through him a rope or something, already!" He ordered, about to go get his but heard a call from down below. "NO! I CAN DO THIS!" The fire head teen stretched his arms out, glaring at the wall as if threatening it to be easier to climb. His hand reached up and he grabbed an rock, hoisting himself up again. With a few rocks climbed, his arms started to scream at him again, his muscles not use to such a strain. For Arceus sake, he use to help with hauling equipment around the haven! Or wait, did he drag it all? Or got a pokemon to help. Oh this was ridiculous! He continued on with small breaks, knowing he could easily pull a muscle. Again, he heard his friends cheering him on and when he got close enough, his arms began to shake, unable to hold onto the rocks anymore. "WAA WAAAA WA---"
A hand grabbed his wrist and with a mighty pull, he was dragged over the edge. The boy, panting some, looked up to see that it was Gunnar who had helped him up. "T-thanks..." "Yea... come on~" The rolled his eyes some and grabbed his bags before heading to the exit. Once outside, Pokemon were called to travel on for the rest of the way. Roxy and Bonnie took the Dudrio, Xel and Tensai on Hotaru, Sanyi on Draco and the Almasy's on Ferdinand. Together, they passed the beautiful route, seeing Shinx play and chase after Starly that were preying on Wurmple. As they continued up the trail, a wondrous aroma filled the air, making them all breath in the natural scent. They were definitely getting close to Floaroma Town!
"They say you can find any flower ever discovered in Floaroma Town. I wonder if they even have Gracidea flowers..." Xel pondered out loud. If they did, maybe this was where that ranger was from.

"Well, maybe." Tensai put in behind him "But they're pretty rare flowers." Especially after the floods, they were almost an extinct flower - and that meant, Shaymin too, was almost extinct. But luckily, that hadn't happened. "I doubt they'll be allowed to pick any for quite some time." "Man, no wonder your dad loves it here!" Roxanne chuckled, seeing the bushels of flowers left and right as they made their way through the area. She bet her uncle knew the name to every single one of them too!
Up in the air, orange wings flapped hard, the air currents making Sanyi's short blue hair whip up as he looked down below, pulling up on Draco's reigns as he noticed his dragon was starting to get too far ahead from his friends. At least he tried too... but Dragonite wasn't letting up. "Draco? Hey come on slow down!" It was too bad they didn't have communicators like there parents did when they were traveling... he now saw how handy they were since none of them could speak to one another.
"Draaaag!" The dragonite shook some, his head turned left and right and before Sanyi could stop him, suddenly served off. "HEY!! DRACO WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"
"Where's Sanyi going?!" Tensai called, seeing their friend suddenly zip off to the left as Dragonite plummeting from the sky and get lost in the trees.
"WAAAAAAAH!" Came a yell as Dragonite suddenly fell into a field of flowers and the momentum sent Sanyi flying off his back and into the soft field with an 'oomph!' pollen flying up in a yellow wave. His eyes opened, blinking as he saw his dragon rolling in the flowers, seeing the large patch of red, upside-down flowers and sighed. "Oh, Dragon-nip huh?" He sighed, shaking his head. Just like cat nip these flowers, better known as dragon snaps, were very addictive to dragon-types.

"Oh hey! He's headed for the Floaroma Meadow!" Bonnie called, pointed at the dragonite who had clearly gone deaf. Thankfully she knew this area quick well and led the rest through the town and forest path to get to the meadow where all the flowers were planted. Her father Terra stated that there were over 20 acres to the meadow, each flower getting enough room to spread and blossom. She didn't know Draco loved flowers as much as her dad. When they all came through to the meadows, they easily saw the large dragon rolling and frolicking around as if he was a little Stantler. Didn't he know he was crushing the flowers!?
However, as they dismounted their Pokemon, their eyes wondered over the vast, semi flat meadow that laid out before them. So many colors, so many shapes and sizes and most of all, so many fragrances. This was such a fantastic and romantic area! And very not manly. Gunnar stuck out like a red thumb with his dull, basic colors. "How girly..." He complained, his arms crossing, not minding that his sister's eyes had turned heart shaped. "You guys go head, I'll watch the pokemon." He offered and no one argued as they raced over to make sure Sanyi was alright. Because he was giggling, they already knew the answer but were worried just the same.
"What's he doing?" Roxel questioned, seeing the dragon doing some peculiar things as he rubbed against a certain flower patch. Sanyi explained that, just like cat nip these flowers, better known as dragon snaps, were very addictive to dragon-types. "That's weird. I never head of---"
"TOOOOOOGEKIIIIIIIIIIIIIISSSS~~~~"
A sudden gust of air blew across the field, making the flowers sway in the breeze and some pedals blew through the air. "WHOA!!" Eyes widened and lit up as they saw a rare pokemon flying their way. And not only was the pokemon rare, but it's feather's were a bit darker than what the books looked like. That meant it had to be shiny! "TOOOOOGE!!" With a swirl and a loop, the graceful Jubilee Pokemon wowed the crowd and it's obvious smile brought a sudden joyous feeling in their hearts. As the pokemon flew closer, they quickly noticed that someone was riding it!
Their clothes fluttered and flapped in a sudden burst of wind was the large pokemon landed right in front of them. Just as it's small feet touched the ground, the rider jumped off flawlessly and even with a bounce and to their amusement, did a little pose before giggling. She was wearing an adventure outfit with some small changes here and there, a noticeable one being that her belt only held heal balls. She had orange-brown hair that flipped some and from what they could tell as she bounced from the pokemon, a small little brain in the back. "Hey!" She called, her voice friendly and cheerful.
"Wow!" Little hearts flew over Roxel's head but not over the girl, but the pokemon. It looked so great! So smooth and healthy! She was taking great care of it! "Is that a shiny Togekiss!?" "Hehe, yep! He's my friend, Totem. We were taking an afternoon flight when he became alarmed, seeing a Dragonite heading towards the ground too fast. We were worried that it had been injured so we came down to take a peak." She giggled again, her soft, kind eyes straying to look at Sanyi who was still sprawled out in a sea of dragon snips. "But it looks like everything's fine here! Oh, and by the way, I'm Namine!"

Sanyi sighed as he turned his head, hearing the others calling and exclaiming, watching boredly as the Togekiss flew overhead showing. Sure it was great but it was no dragon. He pillowed his head under his arms, ignoring the rest of the display as he watched his dragon play, but turned his head as he head the voice of a young girl, knowing it must of been the one riding on the normal-type.
And then his eyes widened.
"It's nice to meet you." Tensai said with a smile. "Yes!" Came a call that made a few of them jump as Sanyi got to his feet and practically ran over to the girl, taking her hand like she were a princess and giving it a kiss. "It is wonderful to make your acquaintance Miss Namine~" Eh?! The rest of the group shared a confused glance, his cousins knowing Sanyi hadn't called anyone 'miss' or 'sir' since he was a kid. Unabashed, Sanyi kept talking, "You're Togekiss sure looks well cared for, you must be a great trainer." Now the boys were even more confused - had he just complimented someone with a non-dragon type?! But the girls got a distinct feeling they knew exactly what was up. "Xel, what's wrong with Sanyi?" Tensai whispered to his friend, worried that maybe the dragon-nip had affected him too!

"Heheheheheeheheee~~" Bonnie hid her mouth behind her hands as she giggled, seeing how suddenly love struck the dragon lover had become. It reminded her of another old gym leader her dad told her about who fell in love with every woman who walked on the planet the moment he saw them! She knew Sanyi wasn't like this before and quite honestly, this was the first time he showed interest in someone. The brunette nudged her girlfriend only to see she was chuckling too. Their chuckles increased however when they saw the two boys standing there, looking completely dumbfounded and oblivious. "What morons..."
"I....have no idea." Roxel blinked, watching the display in front of him. Maybe he was sick, or maybe he really did get injured from that fall. He only acted like this when he saw a dragon pokemon...
The girl, unsure what was going on either, blinked and gasped some as her hand was involuntarily taken and kissed. An eyebrow rose, a strange look coming over her face. This was weird... "You're Togekiss sure looks well cared for, you must be a great trainer." That luckily saved him. "Oh! Hahaha.... I'm actually not a trainer!" She smiled, totally forgetting that her hand was still being held. "Well, I guess I am... but not..." She pondered for a moment but shook her head, making her pretty hair bounce in the sunlight. "I am actually training to become a Nurse Joy." "A Nurse Joy?" Roxel questioned. "I didn't know you had to train to become one..." "Oh of course! You can't just wait up one day and become a Nurse! I have to aid and help heal exactly 100 pokemon to even be qualified to become an apprentice."
They could almost hear Sanyi's heart break when she pulled her hand away from his as she turned and opened a pouch that was tied around the Togekiss. The girl took out a holder, much like the one trainers and coordinators carried for their ribbons and badges. However, when she opened her own, they all peered in to see rocks. "Rocks?" "Yes! Since people don't obviously carry badges with them to give to people when someone aids them, the few of us who wish to become a Nurse Joy ask those who we help to carve their initials on rocks found around the area so we can add them to our collection. So far, I have 77 rocks, meaning I have successfully helped 77 pokemon! I've helped all sorts of pokemon with a variety of troubles including fractures to some deep cuts."

"Really? That's impressive." Roxanne said, with a distinct air of not actually being impressed, simply jealous. Her girlfriend nudged her some - did she had to make enemies with every girl they passed?!
But Namine didn't have time to ponder on this, before Sanyi was chirping happily, "Oh?! Well then maybe I can give you your 78th!" The blonde looked curious, but hopeful as he led her to the other side of the field were Draco was rolling around. "See, my Dragonite, Draco, he's acting so very strangely and I'm worried something might be wrong. He's never acted like this before."
Finally it clicked for the last of the girls, Luci crossing her arms and hiding her laughter behind a cough. Man, and she thought it was embarrassing when Gunnar was making eyes at girls, but this was just pathetic!
"Huh? But Sanyi, didn't you just - ow!" Tensai started to say before he was kicked by the blue-haired male - luckily this went unnoticed by Namine. He covered Roxel's mouth quickly before he could blurt out just what he was thinking, afraid Sanyi would kick him too.
On the other side of the field, still waiting patiently, was poor Gunnar, left to watch three Pokemon. Unfortunately, it was no easy task. Hotaru continued to back away from the brunette as he reached for his reigns, snorted derisively at him and clomping his hooves down hard. Ferdinand meanwhile was wandering aware as well, tempted by the sweet scents of flowers, his favorite snack not even listening to Gunnar's calls to come back.

"Huh? Oh...." The new girl watched as the dragon continued to roll around in the flowers, a large grin on his face. He sure didn't look hurt... But then again, she said she wanted to be a Nurse Joy, not a Pokemon psychologist! Maybe nurses needed to know this sort of thing too. Slowly, she leaned down, watching the dragon closely and noticed that every so often, he sniffed the flowers before butting his head against the ground. This was very peculiar. When she saw him sniff the flowers again, her eyes moved to look down at the odd shaped plants and picked one, studying it. There was some laughter and they all looked at Namine, seeing her raise and turn to Sanyi.
"I found the problem!" She smiled, handing him the flower. "These are called Dragon Snips and they kinda have the same effect on Dragon-type that cat-nip has on cat Pokemon. My dad actually has some dragon-type so he told me all about it. Draco is just fine! Actually, one of the shops in town sells Dragon Snips so dragon trainers can spoil their friends a little bit." Blue and green eyes widened a fraction, seeing a new sort of face on Sanyi. OOOOOOOOH! Now he got it. He liked her! DUH! This was kind of a lame attempt though the boy seemed to become more in love with the poor wannabe nurse than before with her small knowledge of dragon type.
They could be here for awhile...
"H-HEY! Ferdinand!" Gunnar called, seeing the bull slowly leave his side. "Get back here! RIGHT NOW!" That pokemon was as deaf as he was in love with flowers! What the hell was everyone doing!? "W-whoa!" He turned, and grabbed Hotaru's reins before he too walked off. The boy realized that he couldn't do this himself. Quickly, he grabbed a ball from his belt and a blue ray appeared, revealing a small blue puppy. "RIO!" The fighting type quickly rushed after Ferdinand, having no trouble pulling him back towards Gunnar.
