Ven smiled as he felt the licks on his fingers, looking down at the dog. The Marly guy growled as he looked at all the girls seem to swoon over the two Pokemon who seemed to have heart eyes for each other.
The man frowned before turning and shaking his head. "He can stay but the minute he starts something, he is gone!" With a stomp, the man was out of sight. Ven only sighed as he shook his head and patted the houndoom on the head before blinking, hearing the noise of a crowd outside. Him, along with some other girls walked to the window and peered out... Blue eyes widened as he saw all the.... boys lining up for tickets.
"Why... are they coming to watch?" Ventus asked in his sweetest voice to one of the older girls. "Oh, probably for that bathing suit skit." She rolled her eyes and and giggled.
...
"BATHING SUIT SKIT!?"
Axel just shook his head and laughed. "Ah, I'll help pay~~" He stood, winking at Roxas before he followed everyone out to leave. As he let Sora and Roxas go out first, he couldn't help but look down at Pete, seeing him continue to fuss. A frown ran over his face as he thought. At such a huge competition... he was shocked that no members of any team have become a problem.
Then again... there was that... break in the first night...

Houndoom growled happily at the pet, his tail wagging behind him happily. He blinked as the blond walked away from him and he tilted his head before looking around noticing all the girls (and one boy) looking out the windows as if there was a meat truck accident outside. He tilted his head, sniffing curiously at the air but he smelt no raw meat, only the strong disgusting scent of testosterone set on overdrive.
Ugh, humans.
His red eyes looked around carefully before he started to slink away after the rose man's scent and the pretty Delcatty's. Persistence was the key.
Aqua was thrown out of her reverie in one of the back tables when suddenly she heard Ven screaming - it was more manly than she would of liked but still high enough in the octaves that it sounded SORT of girlish. She twitched and hurried over to where 'he' was staring out the window looking quite horrified. She grabbed his wrist and yanked him away, giggling. "Come on Venita we still need to finish up before you go on." She tugged him, none too kindly, back to their table hissing furiously, "Stop freaking out or you'll blow our cover!"
"Can I come back later?" Terra asked, his eyes darting around at the green walls and 'inviting' atmosphere with disgust, foot tapping impatiently on the tiled floor. "Well yes but-" "Thanks!" Terra said in a burst of enthusiasm tore away from the nurse's desk and ran back out the door. The pink-haired lady blinked as her doors slid open and the brunette took off down the street. "We... close at four..." She sighed shaking her head before looking down at the Pokeball before handing it to her Poke-helper. "Alright Chansey get this one to the Sunroom it needs a lot of rest and some burn treatment." "Chansey!"
Terra sped down the sidewalk, hoping he wouldn't be too late. He needed to get into the auditorium before the contest started or they wouldn't let him in at all!
Roxas blinked, blushing ever so slightly. "O-Oh okay..." His Absol gave him a peculiar look and Sora was covering his mouth trying to hold in his chuckles. The blonde scowled, elbowing his sibling hard in the ribs before standing and walking proudly past Axel, trying to pretend his cheeks WEREN'T bright red. Sora chuckled, rubbing his abused side before letting Jolteon down on his feet and followed after, giving Axel a small thanks when the other let him pass. "Sooo Roxie," He said softly, noticing the other's eye twitching at the girlish nickname, "What field are you on next?"
The blond rolled his eyes. "Forest." "Annnd who are you gonna fight with?" Roxas shrugged, knowing his brother was just trying to butter him up. Absol walked quietly beside him, glancing back every now and again at Ninetails. "None of your business." Sora pouted, but grinned. "Too bad there isn't a fire field, eh Axel? Bet you'd rule there." He teased as he looked back, but his smile fell some at Axel's frown. He blinked, frowning some. "Hey Ax what's wrong?" Roxas looked back suddenly more alert. "You okay?"

Ven continued to watch in horror at the boys paying for tickets... and not even his! His...boy? WHAT THE HELL WAS HE THINKING!? Before he could get the idea out of his mind, he was suddenly yanked harshly away and stumbled over his feet.
When they got to a more secluded area, Ventus tried not to freak out. "But-but-but...! I can't do a swimsuit skit!" He whispered loudly before looking around panicked. "How am I suppose to hide....it!?" Being flat chested wasn't a big deal. Most of the younger girls were...
Axel blinked and shook his head as he closed his eyes before opening them to look at the twins. He smiled and rubbed the back of his neck, laughing nervously. "Oh, it's nothing... just being pessimistic..." He joined the two shorter boys and smiled more. "So, who'd next?"

Aqua smirked, knowing what he was worried about. Flat-chests weren't a big deal especially since he looked young enough to pull off before-puberty and it helped on the cute points to look younger. He was just worried about his OTHER assests.
"You don't shop much in the woman's department now do you?" She teased softly, before she grabbed a brown bag from behind their table and pulled it over. She, as Venita's beauty (or cutie) consultant, had already known about the bathing suit skit.
She pulled out the bottom piece to the suit, holding it up to let him see triumphantly. It was definitely shaped like a bottom piece of a two-piece suit but Ven couldn't much tell until he lifted the skirt that flowed over it. "This isn't beauty, it's cute. You'll be just fine, if not a little snug." She tugged the suit away and stuffed it back into the bag, pulling something else out with an evil grin. A razor. Pink just for extra torture measure. "However, this means shaving time."
The two boys blinked, frowning a little before sharing a glance. They knew the red head wasn't telling them something, but they decided not to press. At least not right then. "Uh well... you are Axel." Roxas said, giving him a suspicious look.

Ven blinked as Aqua just grinned and grabbed a bag. He had... a bad feeling about this. "W-what...?" He wanted to close his eyes, knowing his partner just wanted to torture him so badly. There was no way he was stuffing it between his legs!
His eyes widened when he saw a disgustingly cute bottom that looked like a skirt with frills... but it was definitely a swim suit bottom. It was black with pink and white hearts all over it. He stuck out his tongue, his face almost turning green when he envisioned himself wearing that. At least... it would hide his bulged... but this was going to be the most uncomfortable thing he would probably do in his life!
With a sigh, he looked back at the tv as Aqua put away the piece, seeing the view of the crowd. He wished he was there... instead of here... That purple whale better be worth it...
He looked back, only for his blue eyes to widen in horror once more. "WHAT!?" He cried again, seeing some girls look over before giggling nervously and waving at them before glaring at Aqua. "Is that really necessary...?"
Axel blinked then laughed out loud... nervously as well. "Oh jeez! I totally forgot!" He looked down at Ninetails and smiled. "Ready girl?" "Nine!"

"Oh yeaaaaah." Aqua said with an evil laugh, grabbing Ven's arm and tugging him towards the bathroom. "Come along now! It'll be fun!"
Sora blinked but laughed, knowing what the silly red-head was thinking. "Not next next Axel." He patted him on the shoulder. "Jeez maybe you need more coffee."
He blinked getting preoccupied when he smelt something heavenly as they made it back towards the main floor. "Oh I smell pretzels!" He grinned looked towards the long line of people searching for some snacks. He licked his lips and started running forward. "Come on Jolt!" "Eon!" The fox grinned hurrying after. Sora paused and looked back, running in place, "Want anything?!" Roxas chuckled and shook his head. "I need every penny I have for dinner tonight remember?" He joked. Axel also, strangely, declined. Possibly before battle jitters. "Alright!" Sora said and sped off. Roxas waited until his brother was gone and then he spun on the red-head, eyes narrowed. The red-head didn't stand a chance. Maybe he should have asked for coffee.
It was a good forty-five minutes later Sora was happily breaking off pieces of his soft pretzel giving some to Jolteon who was sitting in his lap and throwing some pieces to Absol who caught them in his mouth with ease. It might have taken forever to get it, but the pretzel was totally worth it.
Beside him, Roxas' eyes were dark and he was silent as he looked down at the battlefield were Axel had just taken to the arena. "Hey look there they are!" Sora said happily, before standing and waving towards the stadium. "HEEEEEEEEY AXEL! YOU CAN DO IT!" "Absooooool!" Absol cried, hoping Ninetails could hear. Roxas continued to frown, his blue eyes stormy as he remembered the conversation he and Axel had had while Sora had been in line.
"Alright Axel, what's up?" Roxas said sternly. "Up? Nothing is - well the ceiling is but you know that;s not important. Actually you know ceilings are important because they protect us from rain and insulate heat and-" Roxas' eye twitched as the other babbled on and he grabbed the other's arm dragging him over to a more dark and secluded area where the shadows played with their features. "Cut the crap Axel. What's wrong?" The red head looked at him nervously for a few more moments, but when it appeared the blond was not going to budge, he finally sighed and gave in. "I just... I'm worried a Team might be here." "A team...? A team of what?" Roxas asked, confused. "You know! Like Magma or Galactic or Roc-" "Tails!" "Sol?!" "Alright!" Roxas snapped, placing his hands over the others mouth. He looked around but no one seemed to have heard. He sighed and pulled his hands away. "No need to shout. Now why do you think that?" "Well, they're always at big events like these for one reason or another..." The red-head mumbled. "Usually looking to steal rare or powerful Pokemon. And there was that break-in the first day..." Roxas was silent, grinding his teeth some but he nodded. "I'd... been thinking about that too." "R-Really?" The two talked for a little while longer, discussing the possibilities that a Team might actually be around and doing their best to reassure one another. The break-in could of been a false alarm... The two walked out of the darkness soon enough, and Roxas sought out his brother instantly, finding the brunette still in line but happily chatting away with a red-haired girl in front of him who had a Mareep by her side. Already making friends it appeared. "I'm glad you didn't mention that when Sora was around." Roxas said slowly, his tone changing. "About the Teams." "...Why?" Axel asked, sounding apprehensive. "Nine...?" "Sora lost one of his Pokemon to a Team once. A friend of my Linoone's... a Furret." Roxas murmured softly. "It's not something he likes to remember." "They stole it?" Axel asked, his eyes wide. "No..." Roxas whispered. Absol ducked his head. "...They killed it." "Nine!" "What?!" The blue-eyed blonde looked up at the other, his eyes angry but not towards the man in front of him. Axel seemed to hesitate, before steeling himself and asking, "....W-Why?" "They wanted it's pelt. For a coat or something." Roxas said, hands balled into fists that were shaking at his sides. "They had a gun... t-to shoot the trainer with it. I'm not sure how it happened really I wasn't there and Sora didn't really detail it but I know it got confused with Jolteon and Furret running around and Sora trying to protect them. They shot... but somehow they missed their target." He grit his teeth, hissing through them, "They told Sora there wasn't any point to them continuing now that the fur was ruined. Too much blood that would never clean. L-Like it didn't matter they killed a living thing! Then they just left... like that. Like nothing happened! It didn't matter to them that my brother was a wreck for months, blaming himself and crying over it and..." Roxas shut his eyes shaking his head. Axel whispered something the distraught blond didn't catch his eyes raising to gaze at the laughing brunette who from even close up no one could tell... "...Which Team?" Roxas paused for a long time, his gaze hateful and black, before finally he spit out the name like it was disgusting. "Rocket."
"Roxas... Roxas!" Roxas blinked shaking his head. "Wha?" He turned his head only to get some bread shoved under his nose. Sora grinned. "Eat it, it's really good!" "O-Okay... thanks." Roxas said, taking the piece with a shaky smile. "Thanks."
Terra panted hard as he turned down another street, a hand holding his cramping ribs. His legs felt like lead - how long had he run? He looked down the long street before his eyes sparked with interest and he grinned seeing it in bright pink letters.
Finally! He hadn't totally remembered the way considering the last time he ended up here was completely by chance and it had taken him nearly thirty minutes to gain enough courage to - ugh - ask for directions to a fucking cute contest but eventually he did and he was there.
He looked carefully left and right before trapezing over to the other side of the street and stealthy made his way over to the ticket booth. He nearly fell over, however, when he read the sign in the little window. CLOSED
..............
"FUCK! SHIT SHIT FUCK!" Terra exploded, punching the unbreakable glass. "FUCKING BASTARDS!" He paused, then looked around himself, seeing people on the sidewalks giving him peculiar looks as if he were crazy. He scoffed, "THE FUCK YOU ALL LOOKING AT?! CAN'T A GUY GET PISSED OVER NOT SEEING A FUCKING CUTE CONTEST?!" The people quickly hurried away, whispering to their friends or Pokemon and pretended as best they could that the brunette didn;t exist. The brunette sneered. "Fuckers." He sighed looking back towards the sign before he frowned and took back to the sidewalk, noticing how the other humans steered clear of him. "What the hell am I going to do...?" He asked himself and he started to pass the building, then he froze and looking down it.
His eyes sparked as an idea lit up in his mind. "That's it!" He ran down the alley disappearing in shadows while he reaching for his belt.

Axel sighed as he walked up to the arena. It was an Urban stage, large pillars jutting out of concrete. This wasn't exactly his favorite scene... though water was horrible. The desert was the best one, nice and dry and easy for fire to catch on anything.
The crowd cheered as the two trainers came up on each side of the stage. On the opposite side of Axel was a man with blonde hair and a blonde goatee. By his side was a Mr. Mime who's hands were being pressed onto... nothing. "Ello!" He cried, his British accent carrying. Axel just smiled and nodded before looking around, easily spotting the enthusiastic brunette in the bleachers next to Roxas.
A frown ran over his face, remembering the horrible story. He would of felt even worse if he had told his concerns to Sora... but his thoughts were cleared when he heard a cry next to him. "NINE!" The Ninetails called back to the Absol. Axel just smiled and ran his fingers though her fluffy hair at the top of her head before looking back across the stage.
The announcer suddenly flipped the coin and Axel was the first to act. "HEADS!" And so it was. The redhead grinned, his green eyes narrowing as he saw the disappointment in his rival. Time to battle.
"Alright there chum, out ya go!" The blonde man nodded as his Mr. Mime walked out into the stage, the announcer entertaining the crowd overhead. "Mr. Mime!" The happy looking mime called as he looked out towards Axel and Ninetails.
Axel slowly reached down and grabbed his second to last poke ball before tossing it out. "Typhlosion! Do you best!" The Volcano Pokemon appeared, looking around the stage before his red eyes narrowed in on the Mr. Mime. "TYPHLOOOOOOOO!" He roared as he leaned over, a sudden burst of fire expelled from his neck and shoulders to make an odd looking feather boa of some sort.
That was when the announcer called the beginning of the fight.
"Chance! Use Rain Dance!" "Mime, Mime!" Suddenly the mime started to do a funny little dance that annoyed the fire pokemon greatly. He crossed his arms but blinked as storm clouds started to form over head. "Sion....?" Then there was a downpour.
The flames on the back of the pokemon went up in smoke and his look became more negative than before. "It's ok, Typhlosion, we just won't use fire!" The Pokemon looked back at his trainer and nodded. "TY!" "Charge!" "TYPHLOOOOOOOO!" The Typhlosion roared before racing out fast towards the mime. A large grin ran over his face as he grew closer and closer and---
"Block it, Chance!" The British trainer called and in the matter of pushing his hands down in front of him.... SMACK!! Axel winced as Typhlosion hit the invisible wall as if it was a brick on. The poor pokemon stumbled back and shook his head before growling and tapping his foot in rage.
"WAAA!" Cried a cute little girl in a black with white and pink hearts swim suit as she was pushed on stage by her loving make-up artist. She fumbled and twisted a bit as the sand under her bare feet slid around with her. The stage was made up to look like a beach, with even a beach ball, a shove and pail and some plushes of Staryu around.
Her face became beat red as she looked out into the crowd... especially looking at all the guys. Spinda was next to get kicked out and fell flat on his face into the sand. "Spiiiii?" Venita grabbed the bear and giggled before gulping. "Oopies! Poor Mookie-Pookie Bear! Are you alright?" She asked as she looked down at the bear, only for the doped out look to look back up at her.
"Oh don't worry, maybe a song will cheer you up?" She giggled before slowly walking across the beach. "OOOOOOOOOOOO EEEEE~~~~ We're lucky to live by the sea! OOOOOOOOOOOO EEEEE~~~~ We're going to visit the ocean commuuunity!"
She stopped and pointed as if she was really shocked, Spinda looking the way she was pointing. "Look by the rocks at the island shore Guess what friend we're lookin' for? An ocean mammal with lots of fat A Dewgong's what we're lookin' at!!" A little plush of a Dewgong suddenly appeared by the fake rock, making the girl giggle.
She started to walk again as she smiled cutely at the crowd. She then stopped a few steps later to point out at front of the stage. "Have you ever seen a spout on the blue horizon Watch the great mystery rising Spyhop, breach, and fluke its tail It's the great migration - WAIMER WHALE!" Another little plush shot up of a Wailmer as she giggled some more. "Spinda!" The bear clapped happily before he blinked, Venita walking again.
She stopped once more to point at another fake rock. "On the rocky shore by the restless ocean Waves they break in constant motion Hold on to the rocks to stay alive Starmie's know how to survive!" Once again, another plush popped out from behind the rock, being a Starmie of course. "SPI!!"
The girl twirled, some sand being kicked up playfully before she stopped and pointed up to the sky. "What is the bird that you'll spot by the bay Its colors are black, white and gray Its beak is yellow, flies in the breeze Wingull is who you'll see!!" Down soared a Wingull plush and luckily, the Spinda caught it and hugged it tightly.
The crowd... went wild. "THAT WAS SO CUTE!" "The cutest I've seen!" The judges seemed happy as well as they gave a round of applause while Venita bowed.

Roxas looked at his brother from the corner of his eye uneasily, as if he expected him to burst into tears at any second. But why would he? The brunette had no idea of his treachery - he had no idea what personal story he had told the red-head without his knowledge. He knew, in retrospect, Sora would never actually be mad (or if he was not for long) but it still made him feel bad. He shouldn't of told Axel, he really shouldn't of. He hardly KNEW the red-head...
Why was it so easy to talk to him though? Why did he feel comfortable sharing, either silently or loudly, some of his fears or angers about the world? Was it just because the fire-Pokemon trainer was so compassionate and understanding? Because he knew about Absol and other disastrous things that happened - knew the pain it could cause and the healing that it needed?
He sighed, eating the pretzel piece in silence and tasted nothing as the battle started, trying to distract him from the chaos and turmoil that had settled like a storm in his mind. It wanted him to realize something - wanted him to face up to a truth of some sort...
but the storm was too loud and too dark, blocking his ears and shrouding his vision until their was nothing he could know. So he turned away from the storm and faced the sun in the distance, running away like a coward sailor to a lighthouse.
"And the coin has been tossed!" The announcer said. "It's head so Axel has won! Luxord must choose his first Pokemon - and looks none too happy about it either!" There was a pause. "But nevertheless he has chosen to go with Mr. Mime - this Pokemon might look like a clown but let that fool you! It has a mastery of pantomime unmatched and is best known for its ability to create invisible barriers - oftentimes trapping itself!"
Sora looked at the battle as it began excitedly, absent-mindedly holding the pretzel. He barely even noticed as the pretzel slipped from his grasp - stolen by his yellow fox - to get devoured. If he did he wouldn't of minded even though he stood nearly an hour in line to obtain it. Food always tasted better when he shared.
Instead he was intensely interested as the fight below began, watching the tough-looking fire type Axel choose to face the mime. This mime was nothing like Mime Jr. - who he fondly remembered loved to copy whatever movement another made. He'd met one while passing through Sinnoh. It had certainly gotten him off track when he ended up playing mime games instead of continuing on his way to the gym - heh. But that was him endlessly distracted by childish fun.
"And Axel has chosen Typhlosion! This Pokemon has been renowned for it's overheated attacks and fire-proof body! They have a commonly aggressive that has resulted in plenty of accidently plain fires. With it's sharp sense of smell and hearing, Mr. Mime won't be able to fool this Pokemon. Will he be able to stand the heat head-on?"
And then the judge raised his hands and the battle began. Sora leaned forward, his eyes full of wonder and excitement. He wondered often why he loved fighting so much when he hated the outcome of Pokemon getting hurt - yet there was no denying many species loved the thrill of a fight. Terra's Pokemon all seemed to love the battle field, looking like it was their rightful home. And he himself had two - Luxray and Raichu - who acted like their lives depended on battling. He liked that part of it - the energy, the determination, the commitment, the pride, and the drive of getting better or faster or smarter. He wanted to be apart of whatever made his Pokemon happy.
Roxas glanced at his sibling before looking back at the fight. He blinked as it started to rain over the fire-type thanks to the Mime and frowned. "That... isn't good." Absol growled beside him in agreement, knowing how much fire-types hated the rain - well unless of course it was Flareon who didn't seem to have the mind to hate anything she should. "And it seems there's a downpour thanks to that Rain Dance! It's too bad Typhosion forgot his umbrella! It's flames are being doused! It doesn't look like it's inner heat will do much good in the storm."
Sora put his chin in his hands, eyes narrowing curiously as the wolverine-like animal ran for the Mime, trying to engage close combat watching the Mime's movements. "That's not going to work..." Just as the brunette predicted, Typholsion hit an invisible wall. "Oh! And bad news for Typhosion as Mr. Mime brings up it's famous barrier attack!" Jolteon flinched at the smacking noise, shaking his head unhappily. "Jol!" That had to smart. Sora bit his lip looking at the field quietly, at the furious fire-type. He didn't seem to damaged at least - but with the rain weakening him overhead and frontal assaults useless Axel needed to come up with a strategy and fast. If he could just get-
Roxas frowned and suddenly yelled. "COME ON AXEL!!" Sora jumped in surprise, looking over at his normally quiet and shy sibling before - was he really cheering for Axel? That was a first - grinning and faced forward. "YOU CAN WIN!" The brunette chimed in.
There was a flash of white light in the alley that most people passing by missing or didn't notice - too caught up in their own lives and problems to notice much out of their orbit of self-absorption.
In front of the tanned trainer, the white light took shape a small, green body with rabbit-like feet and curling, claw-tipped hands as if it was ready to spring, a long stripped green tail with a blossom-edge at the tips, a thin face with long feelers for ears and eyes hidden behind red caps, and finally the large insect-like wings on his back. It was a Flygon and Terra's first officially 'caught' Pokemon, just right outside of Sandgem Town as a Trapinch.
The dragon shook his head looking to and fro as if expecting an enemy to be near. When nothing was in the immediate vacinity he gave his master a curious look. "Fllly?"
"I need you to give me a ride..." Terra started, swallowing hard the sudden lump in his throat and pointed up. "Up there."
"Gon?!" The flying type said in surprise before craning his neck, seeing what he was pointing too. windows - too high up for his master to reach on his own. But... But was what was in there worth it? His master HATED height - of that he knew well. He was hardly ever commanded to give his trainer a ride unless it was an emergency or he was feeling particularly daring and vivacious.
"Yeah, I know I know! But this IS important." His trainer said impatiently, his eyes gleaming darkly. Flygon regarded him quietly before nodding and turning so his back was too his master. He tried not to chuckle or make much of a sound at all that would embarrass Terra as he stumbled and struggled to get on his back - highly out of practice it seems. Finally the dragon took mercy on him, helping him get situated by using his tail to help push him until he was above his wings. Terra sighed to calm himself before he wrapped his arms around the other's smooth neck. "Alright... Up we go."
Flygon nodded, before it started to flap it's wings - not like a bird or even a Charizard. His wings appeared more like a dragonfly's flapping furious and quick that they disappeared in a blur, unbending as they lifted himself and his trainer effortlessly up. They were strong enough that they kicked up dirt and grime in the alley, making papers fly all around and loose gravel fly about. The flapping sound of his wings was melodious to the ears, buzzing in a song-like pattern that he could control at will. He could hit as many different octaves as a piano - if he wished.
Terra grit his teeth, trying not to shut his eyes as the brick of the wall started to move down from him as he went up. His fingers curled into sharp pricks along his Pokemon's neck but the other issued no complaint as they easily reached the window and hovered in place.
And then Terra was accurately aware of why he had done this in the first place - because there she was. He suck in a sharp breath but no longer because of fear... but because his heart seemed to of stopped as the beauty came onto the stage in a swimsuit, dancing around and singing - though he hardly heard her. That was both bad and good - bad because she had a lovely singing voice, good because he'd rather spear him ears through with a stick before hearing any more of that sappy and sick lyrical shit again.
He watched her quietly, seeing more of her than he ever dreamed. She wasn't like most woman, her curves were near absent because she was still young and losing baby fat. Her skin was soft looking and somewhat pale in the legs but she still had a healthy glow about her - he supposed if he was comparing her to himself though that was somewhat unfair seeing as he had a permanent tan. The flat-chest didn't bother him in the least - in fact it only made him more attracted and the skirt that hid everything made him swallow hard.
Then her skit was over and she got her ovation and he smiled, wishing her could do the same but still was too afraid to let go of Flygon for even a second. God how he hated heights.
Houndoom watched the skit with no small amount of disgust, laying unnoticed near Marly's side of the judge's table, Delcatty nearby. He looked at the rose-man before he shifted his weight some, edging closer to the table like he was on a hunt. He'd been doing it this whole time - inch by painful inch, coming closer and closer to Delcatty who sat, like before, on the table.
However, as the skit started he heard something far off but familiar that made his head raise and twist around, spying instantly his trainer in... a window. Flying on... Flygon?
The hell hound blinked, wondering what zone of life he had suddenly entered. His trainer DESPISED flying. He couldn't even recall the last time he had done it. Was this man-woman of a person really so worth it?

"Alright Typhlosion, race around him!" The redhead called just as Roxas started to cheer him on. Axel was one to think fast most of the time. The fire Pokemon shook his head, trying to get rid of his inner rage and nod at his master's instruction. "TYPHLOOOOOO!!" He roared before getting back on all four legs and started to race around the mime in large circles.
The mime watched the volcano pokemon run around, quickly making invisible walls to protect himself. After a few circles, Axel couldn't help but grin. "Use Taunt!" The large pokemon slid to a stop before looking at the mime that was behind shimmering walls. "Tyyyyyyyyyyyyyyphlloooooo~~~" He snicked before making 'come and get me' looks, pulling his head back as if he was better.
Inside the mime frowned, his cheeks becoming more red as he watched the pokemon outside making fun of him. "Mime! Mime! Mime! Mime! Mime! Mime! Mime!!!" He cried as he started to stomp his feet. "Oi! Relax Chance! Just---" "MR. MIME!" The mime pokemon cried as his built up rage shot out... into an attack that was better than what Axel was hoping for.
Payback.
The built up attack hit the invisible wall... and bounced RIGHT back at the mime, making him fall over. Seeing that it was a Dark attack, it was super effective! When the mime hit the ground backwards, he had swirls in his eyes and the walls dispersed.
Venita smiled brightly as she picked up from the bow, more blush running over her face as she was wondering when the hell she could get off stage... but then she remembered something... Her bright blue eyes started to look around the crowd, not even hearing her scores being called out by the judges as she just looked for that tan, handsome...
He wasn't there... She pouted slightly, trying to hide her sadness as the lights beamed down on her. To get her mind off the fact that she had been stood up, feeling the pain for the first time. No wonder girls are always so bitch---
Her eyes widened though as they strayed to the window, only to see the oddest sight. A man on a Flygon. Her... "Terra...." He whispered softly before a huge, 'cute' smile ran over her face. She gave him a soft wave before blowing him a sweet kiss and giggling.

"And look at that folks! Typhlosion is circling Mr. Mime from all angles but the barrier Pokemon isn't giving him an inch of defenseless space! He's protecting himself at all sides."
Sora watched as he took his seat again, jittery with excitement. The battles were getting more intense and curious as the competition raged on and the brunette couldn't help how he felt. His whole body was taunt like a spring being held in place by two fingers - the slightest inch of give would have him springing up again. "He's won!" Sora chirped happily before the battle was even close to a finish.
Roxas blinked, glancing at Sora - how could he always tell the outcome of battles? - before looking back at the field and remembered suddenly what the announcer had said. 'Could trap himself in his own box'... "Ooooh..." Roxas breathed in sudden realization and amazement as the mime protected itself in a square so Typhlosion could not get to him. But... now he was stuck.
The crowd erupted into some laughter and cheers as the fire Pokemon played off it's superior act. "And look at that! Taunt seems to have worked its magic and Mr. Mime is furious. His trainer, Luxord, seems to be trying to calm him but it's having no effect!"
Then it was over the minute Mr. Mime unwisely used his next attack and was knocked out. "GO AXEL!" The twins chorused at the exact same second, their voices harmonious and together. "Joool!" Jolteon cried seconds later happily. Next to him, Absol rolled his eyes and looked away, trying not to pretend he was grudgingly coming to respect the red-head's talent.
"Oh that had to smart - the attack meant for Typhlosion reflected right back to Mr. Mime! And with that powerful payback this match is over! Axel wins the first round but will Luxord be able to make a comeback?"
Aqua listened to the score with greed, her mind silently calculating it in her head and sighed. It wasn't bad - better than yesterday thanks to the extra addition of cuteness in Ven's child-like features and playful song - but they weren't in the clear for an easy win. They'd have to pull out all the stops. Sometimes it was nice to win fair and square.
Her eyebrows furrowed as his attention was stolen by something and she followed his gaze before scoffing in disgust. The fuck did he think he was that god-damned brunette? Romeo?
Of course romeo was the one on the ground so guess that made this fucker Juliet. At that malicious thought she smirked some.
Terra sighed as he watched Venita looking around knowing exactly who she was looking for. Or at least he hoped he knew...
He was just considering to knock on the glass and yell her name - like she'd hear - when some ungodly force made her look up. And her beautiful azures met his watered-out blue. She was so much more beautiful than he could find words for and it made him feel average even this far from her. He sighed happily at the kissing motion his heart thudding pleasantly in his chest. For just one moment he felt lighter than air and invincible too as his steel grip on Flygon loosened just enough to act as if he was catching the kiss, giving her a brilliant smile.
The next few hours passed for some without notice for others faster than they would of liked. For Axel it was over quickly - winning all three rounds without what appeared to be much effort Roxas and Sora cheering him the whole way - and for the rest of the day he just had to lounge around. For Roxas and Sora, it was all hyped up energy and nervousness as their battles came and passed - celebrating joyously when they were both, again, announced winners one on the grass field and the other on rock. For Houndoom time had little to no meaning as he finally had gotten to the table after another three contestants, and with a soft whining growl Delcatty had joined his side to lay against him, making him content. For Terra it was full of spurts of great joy and too short of time and then long desolate stretches of boredom and despair as the clock ticked so slow he worried a Celebi came by and froze time. Each time Ven was on the stage he watched with rapt interest - each time she was gone he landed and let Flygon rest while he paced outside impatiently. Finally though the news he was waiting for came - the Finals for the cute contest.
And Venita had made it through to it. And the minute the contest was over he was sneaking for the dressing rooms to congratulate her - trying to play it off as him coming to fetch his Houndoom of which Marly was dragging by the horn and hissing and bitching about how he was corrupted his Bunchies and so on and so forth. But his devil of a pet seemed happy for now. He took him and with as much grace as he could manage with his gangly form he passed by Venita, giving her a congratulations.
Her eyes had lit up and her sweet voice filled his head saying words he knew went along the likes of how glad she was he was there but he couldn't take in anything except how cute she was when she smiled. He was so engrossed with her he didn't notice the absolutely black glares Aqua was sending his way as he was stepping into her territory.
Finally he broke the ice... and invited Ven to dinner to celebrate her making it so far. At the same second she said 'Yes' Aqua was giving out a hissing 'no' making the two finally remember her presence. Terra looked a little uncomfortable before he amended himself and invited her too just as Venita was complaining that he wanted to go.
Aqua snorted and snarled before turning on her heels and said, "I don't fucking care what you do but I won't have a part in it!" And stormed away like a ocean in a typhoon. Both lovebirds happiness was quailed and Terra turned, seeing Venita's troubled and absolutely expression as she mumbled that she should probably go and calm her down.
"Alright, you go talk to her." Terra had said softly as he smiled and mumbled the directions to a restaurant - and no it wasn't all all-you-can-eat buffet. He did have some class. "If you get everything settled meet me there at 6. If you can't show up I'll understand." With soft smiled and a kiss goodbye, Terra left to go pick up Leafeon and meet his friends.
Unfortunately he was late to the center. They were already closed. This didn't exactly STOP him from getting his Leafeon back (Houndoom had tracked down the sun room in the back and they spotted the fox through a window dozing away on a bed). With a knock on the window and a few short orders, Leafeon had his own Pokeball wrapped in his tail and slipped out of one of the half-open windows perfectly healed and ready for another day.
After that, Terra went to find Sora, Roxas and Axel seeing the others uplifted expressions. He didn't have to ask to know they had won - what DID surprise him was when Axel spotted him and suddenly chimed that they wanted to give him a celebration dinner with Leafeon. He couldn't help but look abashed and even guilty suddenly, the look confusing the others until he explained. "I uh... sort of... made other plans." the others frowned, looking put out. "Other plans?" Roxas asked with a cocked eyebrow. "You didn't seem like you had a big enough brain for that." His voice was a little biting as if he was feeling stung from rejection. Terra gave him a glare before he sighed, his cheeks getting red. "I was um... going to take Venita out to dinner..." There was a pause, then Sora's mouth opened in a round O. "I see..." The petite brunette said before his forgiveness came in the form of a smile and a enthusiastic hug. "Terra you're in love!" "Gah! No I'm not! And get off of me!" The muscular brunette flailed as his cheeks went rosy red but didn't make too much of an attempt to actually yank Sora away, not wanting to hurt the others feelings even more. The tension broke then and there was laughter at the comical scene. "Sora's got arms of steel. You'll never escape him." Roxas warned between chuckles. A sarcastic reply. "Well great. There goes my date." Sora chuckled but after squeezing the other tightly before pulling away, grinning so bright the sun was put to shame. "I'm sorry I'm just so happy for you!" The other looked away, definitely embarrassed. "Go on you better go and get ready then! Look sharp and stuff!" The small teenager started making shooing motions with his hands. "Are you sure...?" Terra hesitated. "Yeah we'll be fine! Right guys?" After the two admitted it was fine Sora was shoving the other away. "Go! Go! Swoon her! Make her fall head over heels!" It didn't take much more convincing for Terra to leave knowing that - even if Venita didn't show up he was going to try and make himself look presentable. "Well... that saves my wallet." Roxas said with a smirk. "You're still paying!" "Damn it!"
After having dinner once again, the trio of trainers having fun just like any other night though it felt a little empty without Terra there, spending most of their time wondering how the brunette was doing on his date. "Ah that was great!" Sora chirped as he walked from the restaurant, stretching his hands high above his head. He looked around, seeing the light of the sunset coloring the sky in brilliant shades of pink and purple. He hummed to himself, seeming to be pondering something hard before he nodded and looked back. "Hey I'm gonna head out for a little while. I'll see you guys back at the hotel." Roxas blinked before rolling his eyes. "You STILL do that?" "Of course!" Sora chirped. "Keeps us on our toes! See you!" Then he was gone, running down the sidewalk enthusiastically. The blonde was frowning, trying to ignore Axel's curious and baffled look before suddenly he sighed and gave in. "When he gets far enough, Sora holds these secret training sessions with his Pokemon during competitions. I dunno why or what they do or anything so don't ask." He pouted, before adding playfully. "It's even more important than spending time with me, his dear brother." A longer pause. "Soooooo... what do you want to do?"
Terra sighed agitatedly as he leaned against the wall, looking at the sun and trying to gauge the time without pulling out a clock. He ran a hand through his bangs that shadowed his eyes nervously. He had done his best with his hair trying to tame some of the spikes that stuck up in the back and his outfit had changed slightly adding some adornments that hadn't been there before. A nice gold-plated belt buckle, shoes newly shined, a tucked in shirt, a watch...
It was well after six... so why was he still waiting?
"I guess she's not coming..." He whispered disappointedly. Next to him Houndoom whimpered, not used to the tone in his master's voice. He never got down before when he was stood up... usually he just got angry and ranted for a little while than forgot about it the next hour. This felt.. different.

Axel could only smile he was announced the winner and nodded to his Typhlosion. He could already tell that this was going to be a great battle... even with this Rainy Day still showering down on them. Luxord had called out a Gorebyss named Spades. She, as a water type, seemed like she would have no problem taking out Typhlosion. Luxord was dead wrong.
Swift movements brought the exhausted Typhlosion a win as he melted a steel beam and swooshed the liquid right in front of him so the water attack hit that and hardened it into place. With a powerful Shadow Claw, the piece was flung back, hitting the eel unexpectedly.
The volcano pokemon was called back and the opponents Swalot, Diamonds, was called out. Axel called out his next pokemon as well, his Camerupt. The battle ended shortly as the disgruntled camel used Earthquake and the beam that Typhlosion had dismantled was falling over right onto Swalot. Since the ground was shaking hard and was hurting the pokemon anyway, the poor thing didn't have the time to escape the beam... so Luxord was forced to recall him... and waved the white flag.
After that, the three went to get some pretizles that weren't so long for waiting before Roxas was up next. Sora and Axel watched the winning match before Axel and Roxas sat and watched Sora's. Each win Axel saw made him super happy. This meant that his new friend would continue to share his room and he wouldn't be so lonely. He was really glad he sat next to Sora that day and went to help him find his brother.
More time passed, the three watching other matches until it was time to find their muscular brunette friend. When they did, Axel couldn't more than happy to announce his idea: "Because of your awesome win, we've decided to treat you and Leafeon to dinner!" But it seemed like Terra already had a date. Axel only smiled softly and nodded, his Ninetails yipping softly as if saying 'good luck!'
They all said their goodbyes before heading to the all-you-can-eat place again, finding their same spot and enjoying more conversations. It was a shame that Terra couldn't make it though, Axelm thought that rough around the edges that Roxas had was...cute. When they were done, the six headed out and Axel took a deep breath of the city air.
Before he could say much, he blinked and looked though his glasses at Sora as the brunette sudden rushed off. Red hair shifted as he tilted his head, glancing at Roxas for some answers. "Training?" He smiled and nodded. "Yea, I guess I can kinda understand that." He, himself, only groomed his Pokemon to help loosen the stress of a big match. He believed it helped them focus better.
At the question, his cheek changed a different shade. One of red. "Uh...wanna... walk through the park?"
"WHAT!?" The girl who was dressing up in a cute white and black polka dotted dress cried as she looked back. He had already ignored his Haunter that couldn't stop laughing and trying to hold it in. His blue eyes narrowed at Aqua as he pushed another heart shaped clip in his hair. "You DON'T want me to get close to Terra but you DO want me to get close to Terra for Houndoom's horns? How the fuck does that make sense?" He frowned more as she started to explain, hiding the fact that she was...
"Are you jealous?"
There was an outbreak and Ven had to duck before getting hit by a very pointy shoe. That was when she admitted that she didn't want to lose a partner. "WHAT!?" He stood and growled at her, snatching up the black purse. "YOU'RE the one who got me into all this shit because SOMEONE needed some big fucking purple ugly whale! I'm just trying to go along with it, killing my manly hood in the name of---" He cut himself off before anyone in the next rooms could hear.
"Look, nothing's going to happen. I'll go on this stupid date, come home, win your whale tomorrow and then we're going to go get that dragon. I'll just make up a story that my dad back at home is really sick and that I need to go see him right away after the contest is over. Then 'Venita' will be gone and HOPEFULLY, won't be spoken of again."
With a sigh, he glanced at the clock for his eyes to widen in horror. "SHIT! I'M LATE!" "HAUN HAUN HAUN HAUNT---" "Shut up!" The blonde snapped before rushing out the door and slamming it. The purple ghost sighed, his detached hands floating lower than usual. He had hardly seen any of his master for a few days now....
The cute girl with bouncing golden locks rushed down the street lighted sidewalks, looking down at the paper of instructions. She finally turned the corner, seeing the place... and a man leaving from it. "W-wait! TERRA!" The girl cried as she rushed towards him.

Roxas stood there for a few moments then he nodded slowly. "Uh O-Okay." Walking through a park on the time of the dying day just as the colors of the world were at their most stunning, how rom-
He shook his head. What was he THINKING? Axel didn't seem to note his inner turmoil as they stood there... not moving. Roxas blinked then looked up. "Well?" Axel looked at him expectantly but Roxas gave him an exasperated look. "I don't know the way Axel so unless you want to travel for hours looking for it-"
The red-head quickly got the hint and led the way. The trip was short the two only having to travel maybe two blocks before they found the park. Roxas remembered passing by it at one point either on his way in the first day or when searching for his brother after the accident on the battle field. He had only spared it a passing glance before.
This time he really looked as he and Axel walked through the arching black gates. Grass was everywhere and trees spread out evenly on the three acres of land providing an excellent spot for picnics, tag or hide and go seek. Split in the middle winding softly and carefully was a small stream with a colorful bridge reaching over it. The water didn't look deep but even from here he could see the shimmering colors of fish scales guessing Goldeen and Finneon were schooled there. Some of the trees had birds nesting their - Pidgy from what he could see. On their side of the stream and towards the right was a play set with swings and slides and monkey bars. Children and young Pokemon alike were playing on it and Roxas was just itching to call out Flareon to let her join in.
"Uh... Nice park..." Roxas said dumbly.
On another side of town out of the limit Sora let five Pokeballs fly. "Come out everyone!" There were several flashes of light before the Pokemon both big and small appeared. "Raaai!" Raichu said excitedly, knowing what was up. "Arrr," Softly growled Arcanine, also looking pleased. "Staaar." Trilled his bird, her wings flapping as she settled on the nearest branch. She seemed rather apathetic to the whole thing. "Luuuux," Growled Luxray, his eyes full of competitive drive. He shared a look with the electric mouse and they growled at each other more. "Skuu..." A small purple skunk said, her eyes full of nervousness as she edged away from the others, no confidence in her gaze. "Jolt!" Jolteon gave a bark before joining the line looking smug. Sora smiled shaking his head before he walked over and stood beside Skunktank. "Everyone ready?" There was a chorus of answers mostly excited, even Staraptor seemed a little more interested.
The only thing that tipped him off was the little bump as his skunk hit his shin trying to further distance herself. He smiled reassuringly petting her tail with care. "You'll do great." The skunk looked at him, shaking her head. "I'll stay with you don't worry." That seemed to quell her anxiety and she relaxed some as her trainer got in a crouch. "Alright everyone! Time for the race!" Sora said with a grin, seeing all his Pokemon getting in stances, their muscles readying themseleves for this old ritual. "I don't want to see ANY cheating okay? So Raichu no shocking anyone to get first you hear me? And Lux no biting!" The two grumbled their consent. "Good. Just do your best."
There was a pause then Sora took a breath. "Ready... set... GO!" Seven sets were off - paws and feet and wings. Staraptor took the lead almost instantly her large wings carrying her far through the sky while the others raced under her. Arcanine was pacing herself letting her strides go long easily taking second. Raichu was racing on all fours, tail whipping behind him like a flag, neck and neck with Luxray who was growling for third. Jolteon found fourth, going at a leisurely pace, no hurry in his steps.
Dead last was Skunktank and Sora, the others easily outdistancing them by several Pokemon lengths. The purple skunk nervously looked up at her master knowing he could run so much faster than this. He could usually keep pace with Raichu or Luxray at the beginning but ever since she evolved... However on his face was no sense of anger at not being able to show off his true skill. He only looked down and gave her a brilliant smile as if this was just perfect to him, running with her. "No sweat Honeytail." He said with a laugh. She smiled at the familiar nickname and her protective tail that usually laid over her head fanned out behind her, giving her a small boost of speed that her trainer easily matched while the real race continued on ahead.
Aqua sighed as Ven stomped out of the room and she scoffed throwing her other heeled shoe at the door, satisfied when she heard it crack against the wood but not enough. "Fucking idiot knew what I meant..." She grumbled as she glared at the window. She wanted Venita to get close to Terra and then - like he stated - once the dress was off like everything would just disappear.
But she knew Ven himself was getting close and that was bad. She didn't need him feeling any abject feelings to stealing his Pokemon. She shook her head looking towards the window as Haunter made an unhappy sound behind her. "Yeah I miss him too." She grumbled.
She looked down at her bare feet, a pondering frown on her face. Well if he could go out, why couldn't she?
She jumped to her feet, gathering a change of clothes as she stomped into the bathroom and slammed the door.
Terra sighed as he finally took a glance at his watch, seeing the time. His eyes darkened a bit, "Well I told her it'd... be okay." He frowned pulling from the wall slowly. come on Houndoom." He mumbled as he walked down the sidewalk, shoving his hands in his pockets. Houndoom trailed behind him, tail limp behind him.
Terra glared at the sidewalk. Well what was he thinking? They'd only known each other a day or so and Venita probably had known that blue-haired girl for ages and ages. What was he expecting? If she said no to dating him than what chance did he have? Girls listened to that sort of advice didn't they?
He continued to ruminate, grumbling a few curses under his breath when a voice, more beautiful than any bell, sang through the darkening sky.
"W-wait! TERRA!"
He suddenly straightened, going rigid with shock as his blue eyes saw nothing before him. Of course he didn't no one told you to wait if they were in front of you. He looked back, eyes full of conflicting emotions as he spotted her. For a second she saw flashes of anger and pain, of shock and wonderment, of adoration... finally they settled on happiness as the smile spread because despite everything he couldn't help but see this moment as perfect.
"You came..." He breathed as he turned and approached her. "Fashionably late but you came." He joked softly.

Axel smiled as they walked into the park, seeing the place slowly quiet down now that the sun was setting. Kids and Pokemon alike were trying to get their last play in for the day before their mothers came to bring them home for an undesirable bath and some yummy food.
He and Ninetails walked side by side as Roxas and Absol did the same. "Yea, it's better than I thought it would be..." He smiled nervously as they headed for a bridge. When they walked on it and over it a ways, Axel slowly slowed down and stopped in the middle, looking out at the sunset. With a content smile, he leaned on the wooden railing and sighed.
"Do you know why the sun is red as it sinks below the horizon?" The redhead asked as his green eyes look at the red ball in the sky, sinking below the treeline. "It's because among the countless colors compressing light, red travel's the greatest distance..." He trailed off before slowly looking back at Roxas with a soft smile.
Haunter blinked as he got a response from the blue haired woman. It was the first... neutral thing she had ever said him. Where they all getting sick??
His eyes widened as she passed him and started to flail. "Haun haun! Haunter Haaaaaaun!" He pouted, waterfalls coming out of his eyes. Don't leave me too!!
Venita blushed even more and shook her head, giggling softly. "I'm just glad I could make it period... my trainer doesn't want me to get too close to any boys... but I.... I...." She looked up, her big blue eyes shimmering in the lights of the restaurant. "I missed you..." She gave him a sweet smile before looking down again, blushing. "And I wanted to thank you for... still coming to my show..."

Roxas smiled as he followed after Axel sighing some but the noise was peaceful, content. He stepped onto the colorful bridge noting how the wooden planks were bright yellow and the railing was red. Made him think of Legos...
As Axel looked out at the sunset Roxas did as well on the opposite side, leaning against the other railing a little to Axel's left. He looked at the colors as they changed by the second knowing they wouldn't last in the sky much longer.
At the curious and random question Roxas made a soft murmur, as if encouraging Axel to continue. The answer made him blink and he met those deep green eyes, chuckling some. "Show off." He reached back, planting his hands flat on the wooden railing and with a soft grunt of exertion lifted himself up so he could perch on the railing. It wasn't too high since it was obviously designed for children but it put him a little higher than Axel.
The race outside of town that no human was aware of continued on. As the the Pokemon started to exert themseleves and pull out all the stops the places started to trade back and forth - except for of course the two in last place.
Sora kept his eyes on the others ahead, making sure Luxray and Raichu were playing nice and chuckling a little when the two shared rival-like glances as they split and passed Arcanine on either side. Beside him Skuntank was working her legs to keep pace and even go faster.
"Ar?!" The dog growled unhappily, trying to make her paws hit the ground harder and faster now. Staraptor was soaring as fast as she was able but her wings were starting to get that pleasant burn from the workout so the three underneath started to catch up. Lux and Rai got to the front, Arcanine and Star continuing to pull back.
Jolteon's spikes suddenly shot up and he burst into a sprint ducking past the large tiger-dog and in a few strides outdistanced Staraptor as well, ignoring her angry trill. Luxray and Raichu were so busy growling at each other, eyes hardly leaving each other that they didn't notice Jolteon passing them at first. "Jooool!" Called the fox as he took the lead.
"At the large oak!" Sora called, a little breathless. Six Pokemon took notice of the large tree and suddenly their was no restraint as they ran and ran and ran... Raichu growled knowing he was losing and burst into agility, taking the lead without any trouble. Jolteon gave a furious bark, spikes sticking up further as she shot a thunderbolt towards the mouse. Luxray growled - that was cheating! - and electricity started to spark at his tail helping jolteon send out some shocks to stop Raichu. Up above Staraptor started to glow white before she shot forward wings held tight at her sides; she'd cheat too! Arcanine, behind them all, made an angry sigh, before she stepped up her speed, her legs almost seeming to blur out of existence. She came up behind the others and then gave a powerful jump, soaring over them and her feet landed with a soft rumble at the finish line. "Ar!" Raichu got second, Staraptor third. Jolteon passed over the 'line' just seconds before Luxray giving him fourth and the sulky lion fifth.
Sora laughed breathlessly as he gave sixth to Skuntank and he passed last, shaking his head. "Foul play! Foul play!" They all gave him a look and he grinned. "Just because we cheat every time doesn't mean I need to approve! Alright everyone take a break and then we'll race again."
"Shut up Haunter!" Aqua yelled from inside the bathroom. There were a few minutes before she came back out, dressed in more modest clothing than all that cute crap she had to pretend to like. Ah how did woman live without pants?
She pulled her socked feet into some sneakers and pulled on a denim jacket. "I'll be back soon I'm just gonna take a walk." she growled at the ghost. "Glaceon ice him if he tries to destroy the room."
A blue head popped out from under the bed and the fox looked at her. "Gla!" "Good." She said before turning around grabbing her card and leaving the room.
Terra blinked but smiled faintly as she admitted she had missed him. Someone missing him besides his mom - that was a new one. It made his stomach feel warm...
"No trouble at all." He said softly before leaning down, taking her cheeks in his hands and kissing her softly. When he broke away, a little more breathless than before, he chuckled. "Let's get something to eat shall we?" He took her hand in his and walked towards the restaurant. He paused in the threshold and something bumped into him from behind. He looked behind seeing the dog looking up at him expectantly.
"Sorry buddy." Terra said pointed towards a sign. The dog looked at it, seeing the picture of a black silhouette of a Ratata with a big red circle with a line going through it. His tail fell. No Pokemon, he got it.
Terra grabbed his Pokeball and smiled. "I'll let you out soon." He returned the dog before placing it at his belt and smiled at Venita again. "Just you and me now." He said before taking her inside.

Axel only smiled more before shaking his head. He glanced down at Ninetails and blinked as she rolled her eyes at him. WELL... he didn't mean to show off.... With another side, he leaned his chin on his palm as he watched the sun continue to dip.
That was when he heard it. The ringing of a bell close by. He pulled away and looked down one end of the bridge, seeing a man walking a cart down the sidewalk. With wide eyes the redhead smiled. "Oh hey! Ice cream!" He laughed as he quickly headed over to the man, his fox in tow. "NINE!" This too caught Absol's and Roxas's attention as they followed after them.
When Axel got to the cart, he looked down to see what flavors the man had. "Oh Roxas, have you had Sea-salt ice cream before?" He looked back just to get a.... head shake. "You haven't!?" He reached into his back pocket and pulled out his wallet before handing some money over to the man. "Two Sea-salt ice cream bars and two Sea-salt ice cream cups." The man took the money and smiled, handing Axel the two cups first. The tall redhead popped the top off and laughed as he saw the over excited fox at his feet.
Her tails were going a mile a minute as he placed one cup in front of her and one cup in front of Absol. "Enjoy!" "Tails!" The fox thanked before quickly started to lick the cold dessert.
The man then handed Axel two ice cream bars and then went on his way, ringing his bell for his last round of the day. "Here..." Axel handed Roxas a bar and smiled before chewing on his.
"HAUNTER!" The ghost cried more as he was told to shut up. He only grabbed a tissue and started to blow his nonexistent nose before cleaning his eyes from the tears as Aqua came out of the bathroom. His eyes narrowed at her as she left then narrowed at Glaceon.
Now he couldn't even make a mess! Where they expecting him to just FLOAT there all night!? Ven could of at least put him back in his ball... With a sigh, the ghost crossed his hands in thought before grinning. His tongue stuck out at Glaceon before making a farting noise and weird faces. With that, he turned and floated to the window, pushing right through it and going outside.
He could go out as well for all he cared!
With a sigh, the poor purple ghost started to float over the city, looking around for his master to maybe scare. That's what he deserved! However, he was swayed towards the outskirts, maybe finding himself a meal since SOME PEOPLE forgot to feed him too!
"Haunter?" He blinked as he saw something rather odd. A trainer and his group of pokemon by a tree. "Haun haun!" He laughed before swooping down into the forest below.
She blushed and giggled, nodding happily as she took his hand. They slowly started to head into the place when... the girl frowned. "Poor thing..." She knew that fancy places didn't like pokemon inside. Even if they were tame, that didn't mean things couldn't get out of hand.
They walked in and were quickly seated in the back by a large window where they could over see the sunset. Venita swallowed, shy about the whole thing. "Thank you again for... inviting me to dinner, Terra..."
