Sora stood with Ven applauding and yelling out, "YOU GO GUYS!" It had been an amazing performance and despite the... obvious sexuality within the dance they still got quite a crowd. Roxas and Axel had done something really brave in front of everyone, dancing like that without fear of retribution. They would get it, of course, but for now, they were stars.

He wasn't so worried about his mom - especially when she slowly stood up next to him and started to clap as well. Maybe... maybe their mother would be okay, with them being gay...

Terra stood as well, grinning and glad the lack of light hid it as he clapped as well. That had been something worth watching seven other stupid performances. while he wasn't an expert in dancing or anything, he knew great timing and ingenuity when he saw it. He was... kinda glad Ven had brought him out the see this now.


Roxas panted beside Axel his legs shaking but this time not with nervousness but exhaustion. The dance was incredibly tiring for only being four minutes and his hair that he had put hairspray in (to keep it from matting down and getting in his eyes, like Axel had) was now damp in sweat and started to droop. He was going to need a good shower when he got home.

Roxas returned the grin and as they stood and started to walk off stage, Roxas collected the hats and quickly came close. Backstage, the blonde chuckled as the arms came around him, sloppily placing one of the hats atop the others head before leading him to the closest wall so they could sit down and rest. The two breathlessly accepted the praise and congrats from the other dancers backstage while Belle went to the stage and asked for the next group to come out.

Roxas was worried... and relieved his father hadn't been out there. He would of strangled him. But... he wondered if his mother would tell him about what happened on the dance floor this night or not.

Ven glanced over at Terra and grinned, seeing him clap. He enjoyed it! Maybe he should drag him to other places. When the two left the stage, the crowd settled down, along with the Holani family and friends. Ventus really didn't pay to much more attention to the other dancers... he already knew who he was going to vote for. They asked each family not to be bias and try not to vote for their own family members but for one, Ventus usually didn't listen to people's instructions and two, his brother's performance WAS really good!

Just the strength alone in some of their moves made them win.

He leaned against Terra for the rest of the show until it came down to Belle coming out at the end... and asking everyone to mark down their choices and to hand them to the person on their left. Bryna had given Sora a pen and after Sora was done, handed it to Ven. Ven marked in 'Let It Rock' and handed the pen to Terra before handing the paper to Sora. "I hope they win!"


Axel continued to pant as he sat behind Roxas, his arms still around his neck. "Oh man...I-I wish I could of seen their faces." He leaned closer to the blonde, softly kissing his neck.

Terra smiled as Ven rested against him, fighting the urge to draw an arm around the blonde and hold him closer. Bryna was looking over her sons every now and again and he didn't want the scene too look too intimate. Besides, Bryna already got one shock today, she didn't need another.

Sora plopped down watching the last two dances quietly just like he would back home with Roxas, inspecting the other contestents moves and style - but he knew by the end of the last couple who he was voting for. Roxas had even begged them not to vote for him and Axel unless they thought they really WERE good. And he and Axel had proven to not only be good but GREAT. The lifts and twists and the story within... it was perfect.

As they were given the pen, Sora marked his brother's performance and handed it to Ven, finding his twin also chose Roxas. "I'm sure they have a good chance..." Sora said sounding hopeful. "they got a standing ovation!"

Terra just chuckled and marked the two's as well. No one else had thought to add the sexual paradigm to their dance, too shy to do so in front of friends and family as well as the critical eye of their peers they knew were out there. Heh Roxas and Axel win with bravery alone.

The papers were handed down until they reached the people at the left side of the rows of seats and they were collected up to be tallied.


Roxas chuckled, shaking his head. "I... don't think I do." He leaned against the other tiredly, arms and legs aching from all the stress he put them under doing all those lifts and spins and sharp movements. The two rested, sharing soft kisses every now and again and even as the announcement to start voting blared over the room, neither twitched or left their positions. "I kind of hope we don't win. I don't want to get up." Roxas laughed teasingly.

The stage crew quickly ran down the two isles, taking the papers from the last ones in line and then up to the stage they went.
They counted the papers on stage as the crowd waited. Ventus crossed his fingers and smiled widely. If they won... this would be the second prize Roxas won in a year!

When one of the crew members handed Belle their final count, she nodded and smiled as they rushed off the stage.
"Alright, ladies and gentlemen! You voted and we tallied them up to present to you... the winners!"

She flipped the paper over and smiled. "The winners are... 'Let It Rock!' Axel and Roxas!"


Axel blinked from backstage as he heard Belle on the mic again. Man... this was it. He tightened his hold on the other as she started to talk and then... the music started to play.
Quite honestly, he wished he'd NEVER have to hear that song again! A shock ran through him as he heard his and Roxas's name. "Well, that wish wasn't granted." He laughed as he helped Roxas up.

He wrapped an arm around the blonde and walked him back out to the stage. As they appeared, the crowd stood and cheered again. Axel helped Roxas walk to the mic and took the small, gold plated trophy. He looked out at the audience and smiled. "T-Thank you all for... the votes!" He panted. "I...I want to thank my aunt for this. If... if it wasn't for her, I'd never be here to begin with..." He panted some more as he looked down at Roxas. "And... of course, my Roxie."

[Reno]

"ALRIGHT!!" Sora cried and jumped in his seat as the announcement was made. Roxas and Axel won!!


Roxas laughed shaking his head and letting Axel drag him out their like a rag doll. He didn't like receiving the medal but... maybe it wasn't so bad, doing it with Axel.

He blushed and tried not to hide against the other as the crowd stood and cheered for them - now easier to see since the lights had been turned down. Sora and Ven were both on their chairs, waving to him and he smiled faintly.

He blinked as Axel startied to talk and blushed as the red-head looked at him... AND CALLED HIM ROXIE! God, what was his mom thinking...
He laughed, pushing the other a little and his teasing voice came through, loud and clear. "I don't think we need a drawn out emotional speech Axel."
"No way SPEECH!" Someone from the crowd yelled.
Roxas blushed some, staring out trying to find who said that but it was hopeless. He struggled to find something to say and settled with, "Okay well I thank Axel because he came up with the whole thing." He shrugged and glanced at the red-head.

Axel laughed at Roxas's 'speech' but shook his head. "Thanks again!" He called at the mic before giving Roxas a part of the trophy to hold as they bowed one last time. With that, they were off the stage for good.

Axel had finally caught some of his breath by the time they got back their again... and once more received the praise from the other dancers. The two started to get ready to leave, not bothering to wash their make-up away.


Outside, a small group was waiting for the said stars and when they came out, now with a shirt and a belt, there was some cheering from the Holani boys. "THAT WAS FUCKING AWESOME ROX!" Ven cried as he rushed over and hugged his twin, feeling Roxas sway a bit. He must of been exhausted.

"Axel!" A woman cried as she ran to her very tall nephew and hugged him as well. She pulled away and smiled, rubbing his cheek. "That was absolutely amazing!"

Roxas had never been happier to get off a stage before. He sighed in relief as he and Axel put on some of their missing clothes before leaving the stage with the others to find their families.

"Ah!" Roxas cried in surprise as Ven came to him, yelling his head off. He blinked dazedly, hugging his identical back. "I think I stepped in the twilight zone. Ven is giving me a hug first instead of Sora."

Sora grinned as he weaseled his way over and hugged them both - well why not? - and grinned up at the youngest of them. "Conexiune haton aswon oldbon. Opefullyhon Ommon oesdon otnon uspectson nythingaon."

Roxas grinned, liking the sound of his 'second' name again. "Eahyon? Hankts Ranginui."

Terra rolled his eyes as he came over. "Yes, yes congratulations and weird languages and all that. Can we eat yet?"

Ven blinked as he looked at Terra. With a roll of his eyes he let Roxas go. Quite honestly, his stomach was thinking the same thing! With a glance at Roxas though, it looked like all his brother wanted to do was sleep. "Ah, poor thing~" He teased softly as he looked back at Terra. "Let's go alone, huh? Rox looks like he needs some rest." He winked at his brother before hugging Sora. "See you later!" He waved to them as he walked to his mom and gave her a hug.

Now they just had to find a place where Terra wouldn't order everything off the menu!


Axel smiled as he kissed his aunt's cheek and slowly looked over at Roxas. He really didn't care if anyone asked... his answer would be true. He loved that blonde.


And for someone being so frightful when it came to being on the stage, Axel dropped all the campaign ads when Roxas told him that he had won first place in the try outs for prom and that he would be singing the slow song.

Campaign ads... oh yea. Besides prom, there was something else running through the school like a wild fire. The voting for a new major. Rufus Shinra was one of the top candidates... and his two pushes were quite odd for the people of Radiant. He wanted to legalize gay marriage AND put a lot of tax money into making the gallows a better place.

Some people didn't know HOW he could be a top candidate with those views...
Teachers used it as a way to get kids to do essays and papers though, so it was good enough for them.
Seeing that Axel's BROTHER was sleeping with one of the candidates, the longer redheaded man pushed his brother into putting up fliers all around the gallows.

What fun. At least he got Demyx to help him and he was entertained by his stories about India. Axel of course... had to finally confess to Demyx about not being a virgin anymore after the whole dance thing... and Demyx had a secret of his own to share.
Neither was he anymore.
The two joked that they were suppose to wait until AFTER prom.

Talking in which, that was another thing that was outraging the parents the week before prom.
The health class was handing out free lubrication AND condoms. The parents raised holy hell about it but there were arguments back stating that it was only for their children's safety.
Carina was even a bit shocked when she saw that Riku had picked up one...

The night before prom though, was the most stressful... at least... to those who weren't ready.

"Why do I need a tie?" The redhead asked as he looked down at the blonde on his bed. "My aunt didn't buy me a tie for my suit so I don't need one....right?"

[Reno]

Roxas smiled softly at the teasing. "Oh shut up." He'd like to see Ven do all that and NOT be tired. Ugh, he couldn't wait until all these aches went away.

Sora laughed, watching Ven and Terra walk off. "Bye Ven! Bye Terra!"

Roxas just shook his head before glancing at Axel. And he smiled back softly, his eyes conveying everything even if he said nothing. He felt the same.

For the next few days however, poor Roxas would get on Axel's nerves as he sang parts of 'Let it Rock' incessantly. When the red-head bugged him about it, Roxas would stop, only to hum it instead. At about that time the pyro gave a loud groan of agitation and gave up. It WAS his fault afterall.


For Roxas it was a year of accomplishments. The duet, the dance and now the king-and-queen song...

But most of all he had Axel. And that just made everything else... not matter. He wondered if this was how Ven felt when he found out he was in love. As if he was on top of the world no matter where he truly was...

Roxas blinked looked up from the trophy he was holding. Yes, in the end it was Axel who got to keep it...
"I meant what I said up there Axel." The blonde said with a smile. "If you didn't write down your name next to mine... none of this would of happened. None... of it." He chuckled mysteriously. "The least I can do is let you keep a silly piece of plastic and metal."

He set it down on the nightstand. "Well Axel technically, you don;t have to wear nice clothes at ALL" When he got an excited look he glared. "But I'm going to make you." A sound of disappointment.

Roxas laughed. "You can forget the tie if you want." He sat up walked over to the other wrapping his arms around the others neck and grinned. "After all it's just going to all come off by the end anyways." He leaned in, whispering huskily, "I'll see to it personally."


Across town in a nicer community A baseball was being thrown into the roof, only to bounce back down and be caught by one teen laying in bed Up it was thrown again.

The watchful brown eyes of a border collie didn't stop looking for even a second, secretly hoping her master would falter so she could snatch it up.

"I'm the only guy in the whole school who doesn't have a date Halo!" Bang.

"It's okay for girls you know? They have their girlfriends and 'stuff' so you know if you showed up with all your cool little doggy friends" Bang! "It'd be okay! But you know a guy can't show up without a date and look foolish." Bang.

"And now I have to dress up, look cute and watch the love of my life dance with one of my ex-best friends, how much more fucked up can this get?" Bang!!

Sora groaned holding the baseball tightly before sitting up. "At least Roxas isn't here to sing that stupid song. If I hear it one more fucking time I swear I'll... I'll ARGH!" He growled yanking the ball back and hesitated, his arm shaking as he look at the window he was about to break. He sighed suddenly his whole body slumped and seeming to fold in upon itself. Defeat.

"Here." Sora said softly, tossing the ball lightly to Halo. The dog preceded to slobber all over it and make little doggy noises as she chewed but Sora just turned around and curled up on the bed. He heard the phone ringing downstairs not much later - but when his father came up to tell him Ven was on the other line Sora just yelled back saying he didn't feel like talking to him. He was done with pep talks and being told to tell Riku how he felt. As if it was SO fucking simple - Ven nearly KILLED himself over love and now he acts like it's the most simple thing in the world?! Fucking hypocrite.

He was... just tired of it all.


The night passed slowly but surely... until prom was upon them. Girls were out getting their hairs and nails and even some their faces done. Prom was a girl's night to look perfect.

For guys well it was their night to make the girl feel perfect.

For those who were gay, like Ven and Terra (who were going for the food) and Axel and Roxas (who were going for the date) and Sora (who was going... to pretend) it was all pretty superficial.

Sora frowned unhappily as he slouched in his seat on the bus, looked back a few seats where Riku and Kairi sat. The red-head saw him and gave him a nasty look, and Sora quickly turned away.

"Sora don't mind her." Roxas said from across the aisle where he sat with Axel shooting a glare over his shoulder towards the girl.
"Easy for you to say..." Sora mumbled as he played with the button of his jacket. Believe it or not, he sat alone. The only free spot in the whole bus and he was stuck with it.

"Hey look we're there!!" Someone on the bus cried and cheers erupted down the aisle.
"Thank fucking god." Terra grumbled from in front of Sora, where he sat with Ven.

The bus came to a stop and the students started to get up from their seats excitedly ready to start dinner.

Axel blinked when he looked down at the blonde and smiled happily. YES! NO NICE CLOTHES FOR HIM! He actually felt kind of weird wearing nice clothes. It was also odd seeing Reno all dressed up every time he saw him anymore. It was still never tucked in but he always looked so sharp.

He sighed though when he heard he was going to be forced to wear them. "Alright..." Maybe he could be cool like his brother and not tuck anything in! YEA!
His narrow eyes glanced over as Roxas walked to him, grinning as he felt those arms around his neck before wrapping his own arms around that cute waist. "Oh~~~~? Well, who said we couldn't start now?" He rose an eyebrow as he grinned more, leaning down and giving Roxas a wet kiss. His thin fingers ran down the other's butt and squeezed his cheeks.


There was a sigh as an identical twin laid on top of a wolf blanket. "I'm really worried about him..." He stated to his lover that was in the kitchen. He sat up and looked down at the ground. "Sora... just hasn't been himself lately. This thing with Riku is getting really bad." He ran his hand through his hair as he heard Terra's response.

Maybe... I should make his night.... fun....


Axel grinned as he started to poke Roxas in the chair. They poked and chuckled on the whole bus trip. Even if it seemed silly, it was a way for Axel to get out his nervousness. He glanced over at the lone brunette as he turned and Roxas looked towards the back of the bus. Green eyes moved to the narrow corners to spot a redhead all dolled up next to a not so thrilled looking silver haired kid that he knew from his grade. Riku and Kairi.

He never really understood those two. They were always together and Kairi always seemed like she was having a time of her life but Riku... he hardly ever smiled. Honestly, he never saw Riku truly smile unless he was with the lone brunette. That why when Roxas explained to him about Sora and Riku, he didn't know why the hell they weren't going out.

Ventus on the other hand was looking out the window, watching the buildings go by. He absolutely HATED dancing... he liked to head bang and rock out but...dance? He knew if he tried he was going to make a fool out of himself and just be uncomfortable. Besides, Roxas got all the dancing talent in the family. He was proven at the contest.

When the bus stopped, all the kids cheered. It was nice for the school to give this kind of transportation... seeing that most parents were still working late that night and some just didn't have the money for a taxi or limo.

Riku stood but Kairi grabbed his arm as others passed them.
"Riku... are you sure you're alright?" She asked in a concerned manner. When her uncle dropped her off, Riku seemed to be quite upset. There was water on his shirt and instead of telling her what had happened, he pulled his blazer over to hide it and just said it was nothing.

Now he was silent for the whole trip, looking like he was deep in thought.
"N-no, I'm fine, Kai... so... don't worry ok?" He looked down at her, giving her a weak smile as he started to leave once more, bring her with him.

Riku and Kairi of course weren't the only ones to get off the bus. A group of five did as well. Axel and Roxas held hands so as not t lose one another as they hurried down the steps of the bus, Terra and Ven a little ahead of them and Sora behind them.

The five got close, looking around at the prom area. "Wow..." Roxas said softly. It was being held at a one-story hotel called Victoria Gardens. The food would be served inside the lobby... the dancing would apparently be outside. The garden was in the back (of which they could see because they were parked at the side) was... stunning. The whole near acre of land was fenced by flowers bushes and plants of all kinds and the only way to get in was an arch and delicately placed in between the wooden frame was a mixture of flowers.

"I believe I see roses bushes." Terra said softly as he spotted red, pink white and even yellow bushes spread about. He glanced at the three Holanis teasingly. "I'd be careful~"

"Ha ha Terra so funny." Roxas said with a roll of his eyes but glanced at Sora seeing the other hadn't responded to the comment in the least. He frowned, breaking away from Axel to sidle closer to the other and murmured, "Ranginui, leasepon. Owhon boutaon aon mileson?"

Sora blinked, but did as the other asked, pulling a weak smile across his lips. Roxas pouted, "Onon, onon! Ikelon histon!" Roxas grinned reaching up and tugging on the edges of Sora's lips to spread the smile wide, just like he always used to do to him or Ven when they were down.
His hands where slapped away lightly and Sora chuckled softly. "Okay okay, I get it. I'll try and cheer up." He smiled. "Now, I'll save Terra from saying it - let's go eat!"

Sora led the way, doing his best NOT to look back where he knew Riku must be - he could hear Kairi talking to him. Obviously today he was not allowed near the silverette...
At the sour turn of his thoughts he sighed the small smile he had built up falling.

Roxas frowned, seeing Sora's form slumping a little and knew the others small burst of happiness was already gone. His heart... hurt for his brother. But other then DRAGGING Riku over and demanding the teen to love Sora, he couldn't do much more to help...

Terra followed after, his eyes a bit concerned as he saw the brunette get upset again. He glanced at Ven seeing the other looking troubled. He knew from their conversation last night, the blonde wanted to make Sora's night the best and - despite it obviously making their date compromised - Terra couldn't help but agree.

Ever since this thing with Riku started, Ven had asked him if he could keep an eye on Sora during school, to see how he was doing. The results weren't good. He had known Sora for as long as he had Ven, and he knew the brunette never let things get him down for long. That he always bounced back. This time that wasn't happening.
The brunette just was... obviously very unhappy. And today was the worst he'd ever seen the eldest of the Holanis ever.

"Sora... just hasn't been himself lately. This thing with Riku is getting really bad." The blonde said, running his hand through his hair. He looked over from where he lay on the bed.
Terra sighed sauteing some vegetables, adding some pepper. "Well of course it is Ven. He's in love." Even if Ven never told him, he wasn't so much of an idiot he couldn't tell how obviously heartbroken the brunette was. Apparently Riku was though. "And it's terrifying... being in love. You should know you dated Zack to know how to date ME remember? And I didn't tell you for two fucking years..." If anyone should know this crap, it would be them. "And for some like your brother who is like a fucking open book with his emotions, a strong one like this is well... crippling I guess."
Ven sat up. "But he never even TOLD Riku, he hasn't been rejected!"
"Not verbally no... but sometimes actions speak louder than words."
"Oh don't quote shit at me!"
"Why? I figure since you never read you'll never know if I was." Terra laughed and caught the pillow before it smacked into him. "Well, what do you want to do about it?"
"Argh I don't know!" Ven cried in frustration, falling back onto the bed. "I just... wanna make his day good."
"Then that's what we'll do."
"We?"
"Yes, 'we' idiot. Believe it or not I actually give a damn about your family and want to, ugh, help."

Terra looked at Ven, raising an eyebrow. They had to do something.

Riku was still silent as he got off the bus and stopped to look around. This place was famous for its gardens. It held weddings, parties, and of course... prom. It was an exclusive prom hotel for Hallow Bastion high... and not for the public high school. They had another place to go... that was less nice. Riku, one who was brought up learning about equality, never liked this fact.

The night wind blew his hair in front of his face and slowly he started to walk after the group of five.
"Riku... say something?" He heard Kairi asked and he stopped, looking down at her. "Tonight's a special night. I want to remember it as a good on! Please, Riku... tell me what's wrong?"
The silverette looked down before slowly glancing off at Sora. He looked back at Kairi and smiled faintly. "I just have a headache. Maybe I can ask one of the people who work at the hotel if they have something I can take."


Axel smiled as he saw the flowers but frowned as he heard Terra's comment. Great... he could picture it now...
Red hair swept the blonde from his feet in the middle of the dance floor. Lights were all on them as he dipped down, his lips so close to Roxas's as a passionate kiss could be seen in the very next second. People held their breath at the romantic scene and
AAAAAAAAACHOOOOOOO!
The blonde sneezed, spit coating Axel's face.
"................bless you."

No... that wouldn't be good at all! HE WOULD CUT DOWN ALL THOSE DAMN ROSES IF HE HAD TO! There was no way it was going to ruin his and Roxas's---
He glanced down to look at his boyfriend when he noticed that... he wasn't even there anymore!? He looked around only to see him next to Sora... who didn't look very good at all. He pouted a bit as he heard that weird language. It was like... they were from another country or something... but Roxas had told him about the language that only he, Sora and Ven understood.

Something like... twinese and Sora picked it up as well.


Ven frowned as he also saw his brother lose his spunk... knowing he was thinking about one thing and one thing only. It seemed like Riku was giving Kairi another chance... and the talk between Bryna and Carina didn't help. Carina had told Bryna about finding the condom and Sora had overheard...

He looked up at Terra, seeing the look on his face and nodded. He quickly rushed to Sora and wrapped his arm around his brother's. "Hey, Sora? Remember when we were little and we'd put black olives on all our fingertips and act like we were aliens? Maybe they'll have some and we can total bother Terra with them!" He looked back at Terra with a grin before looking back at Sora. "Come on!" He pulled his brother forward and to the entrance.


Before anyone could get anywhere after Sora and Ven, there was a call from afar. "ROXAS!"
Everyone looked over, seeing a very large smile on a girl who was wearing a cute, puffy orange and yellow dress rushing towards the blonde. Her arms spread and she wrapped her arms around his neck. "There you are!" She pulled away and giggled. "Awe! You look so nice!"

Axel blinked as he saw the scene and frowned, crossing his arms. He glanced down only to see another blonde doing the same thing.

"Uh but Ven they won't fit on us anymore!" Sora said as he was dragged off.

Terra blinked, then rolled his eyes as the two brothers hurried off. "What am I a scapegoat?" He started to walk over when a yell made him glance back. He raised an eyebrow seeing Ven's identical image being coddled by some girl in WAY too much orange - Olette naturally - and Seifer standing a bit aways, looking sour and unhappy. About Roxas getting HIS hugs that is.

Roxas blinked but chuckled, hugging her back. She was the only one he'd accept hugs from without complaint - except of course Axel but their hugs were more like 'cuddlings' so he wasn't sure it counted. "Hi Olette." He hadn't been able to see her, seeing as she was on the second bus. When they pulled away he gave her a once over and nodded. "You look great too."

"Tch great?! Is that all you can say chickenwuss?" Seifer said testily as he tugged at his orange tie (found to match!), "Olette's the most beautifully dressed here."

"I beg to differ." A new voice said, high heels tapping across asphalt as two woman walked over, both stunningly garnished. One was a bluette in a strapless purple-red prom dress with a low back and sequins of flowers sewed into the left breast with branches of stems and leaves fluttering all the way down to the bottom edges. Her face was done up as beautifully as it had the day she had visited Ven in the psyche ward red lipstick and purple eyeshadow and a light coat of blush. "Fuujin wins that spot." She smiled as they stopped nearby to Seifer. They had been on the third bus with-

"AXEL BUDDY!!!"
Everyone glanced around suddenly, as Axel was nearly TACKLED to the ground by a blonde with an earring of a mini-sitar dangling from a chain (He had it pierced while in India as well). Another sour look was gained as another blue-haired person, this time a male, came over. Roxas rolled his eyes at the two's antics. "Hey, hey don't ruin your clothes! They're actually presentable for once!"
"Ah Roxie, still so stingy."

Terra raised an eyebrow, before looking over at Aqua and he smirked. "Wow Aqua, you're a woman? I never knew."
The female raised an eyebrow before walking forward and smiled sweetly... before stomping on his foot with her heel. "Very funny."
"OW SHIT!" Terra winced hopping around a bit. "bitch!"
"Ah there's those sweet compliments I've grown to know and love~" She looked around, confused, "Where's Ven?"
"Right..." There was a pause as Terra looked around... and realized he had lost sight of his boyfriend and Sora. "Well... he was with Sora. Getting dinner which you know if everyone's done lolly-gagging I'd love to be doing to."
Aqua blinked then looked around at everyone before smiling. "Well I've got a delightful idea lets find a table and all eat together!"
"Oh joy..." But he couldn't help but think this might be a good turn of events. Sora loved being in big crowds so that was why, rather than arguing he just led them along.

In the end, the five became nine. Sora sat next to Ven, who sat next to Terra, who was next to Aqua who was beside Fuujin, who was to the right of Seifer, who naturally was near Olette, and next to her was Roxas and subsequently near Axel who was beside Demyx who was next to Saix who completed the circle by being next to Sora.

And Sora was smiling and even laughing again, feeling more comfortable being around so many. And yes, they did have olives of which got flickered, poked and thrown at Terra throughout the meal - if of course they didn't get eaten that is. And everyone else was so lively and joyful whether it be Demyx's cute attempts to getting Saix to talk and smile when he gave too much attention to Axel or the funny glares Roxas and Seifer were passing over Olette's head that made Fuujin sigh and Aqua laugh - he couldn't help but face the facts. Happiness was contagious!
The only thing that ruined it slightly was the fact that it was a table for twelve not eleven and there was a gap between him and Saix where a chair used to be - luckily someone had come over and taken it for their table instead.

"So what about dessert?" Sora asked suddenly as he polished off the rest of his pasta.
"Well I saw a chocolate fountain with strawberries around it." Terra said with a shrug.
"No way! I didn't see that!! We HAVE to go get some!" Sora said, his eyes lighting up in excitement as he practically bounced out of his seat. Roxas and Ven couldn't help but share a grin that was the Sora they knew!

Olette giggled some more as she looked over at Seifer and shook her head. "Well---" She blinked when she got interrupted and looked over, seeing a senior walking over with... FUJIN!? She couldn't help but smile before leaving Roxas's side and stood next to Seifer again.

Fuu looked down slyly as she walked next to Aqua, their hands joined. Her dress was much more... well... basic. It was a slimming black dress with see through, glittery sleeves. She had hated it at first because some of her little pudge could be seen along with her larger hips but Aqua had assured that it looked great. Her hair was actually up in a bun, a lot of hair sticking out all over seeing that it was still too short. only a few hairs were in the front, curled with an iron so it looked like swirls falling down. Her eye patch had a pretty flower that matched Aqua's dress on it instead of just her usual black.

"You look really nice Fuu!" Olette complemented with a smile.
The silverette stepped a little bit closer to Aqua, her shyness overcoming for once. "Thanks..."

Everyone blinked though when they heard a large commotion.
"WAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The redhead leaned over, having to step back a few paces so he wouldn't fall. "JEEEZZUS!" He laughed as he hugged Demyx before ruffling his hair. The green eyes caught sight of something blue walk up... and the sour look on a familiar face. Someone sure didn't look happy being back at high school again.

Saix too was dressed up the same way that we was for the Christmas party. He crossed his arms and glanced at his sister, shrugging his shoulders.


When they all got in and found a table, everyone really relaxed... and every started laughing and having tons of fun. Even Saix had to break a smile and chuckle here and there at Terra and Aqua's antics. Of course there was Demyx too that made him smile.

Ven smiled as he watched Sora get up and go get some dessert. He glanced at Roxas and nodded happily. "Inon newkon ewon ouldcon odon iton!"


At the fountain, another boy was scooping some chocolate fudge into a bowl with a ladle. He admitted a sigh as he watched the chocolate smooth out as it fell. When he heard some louder footsteps, a shock ran up his spine. He... knew the sound of those footsteps.

Aquatic blue eyes looked up, looking right at Sora who had walked right up next to him.
"Sora...?"
It would of been the first time he had said anything to his best friend in over a week.

Roxas smiled and nodded as well. "Hankfullyton!"

"Alright, alright enough weird languages!" Terra complained. Just as he said that, music started to play outside and the DJ announced that it was time to dance. And it was one hell of a familiar song.

Even from the beginning instrumental Roxas eyes glowed with laughter and he grinned at Axel. "Wanna go out there baby?"

Sora carefully maneuvered around tables hearing the music come on. He laughed recognizing the song as well. He'd heard it enough times in the music room when Roxas and Axel where home to practice and he knew quite well that the red-head of the duo was sick of it. Poor Axel!

He was stepping back into the small room where the tables of food were set up, almost vacant now that everyone had gotten something to eat, and quickly searched out the desert table.

He found... a different sort of dessert. One that wasn't so sweet. He grit his teeth but took a breath and walked over...
Riku tensed and looked back.

They stared at each other before Riku gave his soft greeting and a memory flashed behind Sora's eyes.
"I just... I found it in the back pocket when I was washing his jeans Bryna. A condom of all things!"
"Dear did you talk to him?"
"I did, but he won't say anything about why! I didn;t even think he and Kairi were that close anymore. I'm glad he's trying to be safe but... I'm afraid - no... I KNOW someone's going to hurt by this."
"Oh darling how can you predict that?"
"...I.... I just know Bryna."
Sora shut his eyes from behind the wall, before hurrying for his bedroom.

His aching heart slammed against his ribs but he forced on a smile no matter how fake it was. "So... enjoying Kairi?" He asked, not bothering to act shy over the obvious sexual implication. He snatched up a strawberry by it's leaves, dipping it in the chocolate on Riku's plate and ate it as if his actions were the most natural thing in the world.

Had things not been so tense between them for the past few months, it would of been.
