Roxas and Hayner both looked over at olette as she started to talk. finally the littler blonde broke away and threw a capanionable arm around Olette's shoulders. "Well thats why we're here Olette! We'll protect you. That's also part of being a man."
Hayner laughed following after, smirking at the sight of Olette's red cheeks. Roxas was such an oblivious idiot sometimes! "Yeah Roxie can be your knight in shining armor. He'll run in on a six-legged horse with a big javelion and take down Seifer once and for all."
"A six-legged horse?" "Yeah!" "And you can be the hay, Hay."
Demyx leaned back, looking up at the sky. He had to look for the silver-lining right? Maybe this year... wouldn't be all bad. He just had to wait and see.
No matter wehat though he wasn't going to quit. He worked way to hard to get into this school - and no one though he could do it either! - he wasn't just gonna give up now!
After waiting for the line to die down some, Terra and Aqua eventually went into the shrotest one. Luckily the first day of food was free - after that Terra wouldn't be able to afford lunch (come on two dollars a DAY? That was 360 dollars per YEAR and it was never even enough to feed him!). He'd be bringing whatever he could from home and stuffing it in his locker the minute he got to school.
Too bad Ven didn;t have lunch with them this year - he lvoed stealing stuff off the other kid;s plate.
Lunch B.
"Whoo!" Sora cried, racing from his art class in a flurry of feet towards the cafeteria - oh he was so lucky it was so close! - and raced to the lines already forming. he was proud to say he was maybe the 15th person in line!
He waited for a little while then, as he got to be the 7th he spotted a head of silver hair - his best friend. "Riku!!" He called over the crowd waving his arm, inviting him to cut.
Hey everyone ELSE did it.
Demyx pouted, looking at the games. None of them looked fun. Until he saw... the swim catgory. "See ya Axel!" He squealed, running for the lines. He knew that Axel would never go for it - he for some reason, really hated water, but Demyx loved it and if he was going to be having ANY fun this eyar, it would be in the pool damn it! He was a lucky he was a junior - he;s get priority over everyone but seniors.
Roxas, feeling happy and full, followed his friends to gym just like they had done the year before. Even though the freshmen looked lost, they get used to the routine pretty fast. He sure did. Sure, it was a tad annoying to have to do sports after such strenous activities, but he'd rather do it with food in his belly then without.
He glanced over at Olette's suggestion however, and looked at the line for volleyball - seeing thre was almost ALL girls in it. "Umm Olette uh... it's kinda a girl sport I think."
"And thats a reason NOT to join?!" Hayner said with a lechrous grin, practically drooling. He wrapped an arm around his friends shoulders bringing him close and whispered so Olette couldn't hear. "Think about it man. All those girls jumping, bodies stretching, breasts bouncing!"
Roxas grimaced in disgust pushing the other away even though his face was bright red. "Hayner!" He did NOT really feel like getting a boner during gym every day!!
"We could do football." "Please I'm not joining that smelly man class." Aqua grumbled. She was thinking about swimming - but then again she had a pool at home, which would not only be cleaner but less annoying. Terra glanced at her, smirking evilly. "My Aqua you're a woman?! I never knew!" She punched him. "Come on let's stick with tradition." She grinned. Terra laughed. "Alright." Once they were at the front of the line they wrote down their names for their sport and their grade - before getting out of line.
DODGEBALL Terra Tellus Aqua Umi
Now thay just gave every freshmen another reason to stay away.

Ven sighed as he pushed the doors open. Lunch B. Great.
He pushed through the kids, hearing some complain as he found a place in a line. His phone was gone... so now when he had the time to text Zack, he couldn't! This was so unfair! He growled, just thinking about that stupid teacher pissed him off. He was PUTTING IT AWAY! Now he wouldn't have time to pick up his cellphone AND go see Zack while he was picking up Aqua... and if he left his cellphone there, they were going to call his parents.
AND NOW HE HAD TO EAT ALONE.
He blinked though when he heard a call from a boy way ahead of him. Sora. He sighed, crossing his arms as he saw a tall silver haired boy CUT in line. Well, he couldn't say he wouldn't of done it for Aqua and Terra... but that wasn't the point! Sora got to eat AND have gym with his best friend while he had to suffer with eating and doing gym by himself AND could only see his boyfriend during the weekends IF he was an angel at school.
Being sixteen was suppose to be awesome... but it was pure Hell.
He couldn't wait until he was 17... then he could do so much! He... he could drop out of high school and run away with Zack! Well... that was kind of lame. He doubted the college kid wanted to take care of a drop out... seeing that he was already struggling himself. Another sighed admitted. He could dream though... right?
Riku quickly rushed over and laughed as he cut in front of Sora. He turned and smiled. "Hey thanks!" He knew Kairi was on the third floor and by the time she got down here, they're have their food already. He smiled as he looked down at Sora. "So, you seem like your classes are good. You always manage to get the awesome teachers."
Axel blinked as he heard his friend... and he was gone. He pouted. So, looked like he was on his own. He stood there and thought... what game, what game.... FRISBEE! He walked over, easily getting in line. A lot of people didn't like Frisbee because it was just.... tossing a disc around but it was fun to someone that was tall because it was guaranteed that he could catch whatever was thrown at him! It also was the game that used the least amount of brain power....
Olette blinked as she saw Roxas blush and seemed to get the gist of what Hayner had said. She frowned and put her hands on her hips. What a bunch of men! Sure they could protect her unless you put a pair of naked breath in front of them. She shook her head and sighed. "Well, what other game do you want to play?"
Braig watched from afar as his cousin Terra and ♥Aqua♥ walked to the........NO! NOT DODGE BALL! He swallowed hard as his palms grew sweaty. There... there was no way he was signing up for that! He sighed in defeat. It seemed like she was doing this on purpose.... because he knew now that the only way he could get close to her... was to get close to his cousin... and that was like getting close to a bear with something HORRIBLE up its ass.
He shook his head as he trudged over to the badminton line.

Sora smiled enthusiastically as Riku came over and - hey wait what a meanie he wanted to get food before him! He pouted a little, but quickly shook it off at the others question.
"That's cause I pick awesome CLASSES Riku." Sora boasted - but it was a known fact that yes, Sora usually always got the awesome teachers. "And yeah, Drama's a lot of fun. I love my creative writing teacher she doesn't care what we write about and I can't wait to start drawing in art!"
He tilted his head, before looking up at the other, grin in place. "How about you. How are your classes?" Even though eh and Riku were a year apart - school wise - he was glad that they still had such a strong relationsip and found it so easy to talk about things still.
This made college look like a breeze!
Hayner blinked, then glanced at the list grinning. "How about ummm..." "Kickball?" Roxas put in. Volleyball was too girly, football too manly, swimming would be impossible for them to get into, frisbee and badminton were well come on they could do better.

Riku stuck out his tongue as the line moved. "Boring as usual. I'm already counting the days left. I can't wait to hit the beaches again, you know? Being out in the ocean breeze and hot sun is the best!" He almost spent every day of his vacation down on Destiny beach. This had made Kairi kind of made seeing that she wanted to go shopping and her friend over at the other high school wasn't available that day.
Riku didn't know what drew him there... but he absolutely loves it...
He shook his head and blinked, his height making it easy to see over the rest of the kids. "Hey, doesn't look like your brother is having much fun either." He pointed towards the back of the line at Ventus.
Olette smiled brightly and nodded. "Yea! Kickball! That sounds like fun! I'm sure whatever team we get on, we'll win for sure!" She clapped her hands together before heading towards the line for Kickball. There weren't many girls in this line...maybe 2 or three. That's what you get when you hang around boys all your life. She didn't mind though. She was sure that she experienced much more neater things with the boys... especially these ones.

Sora smiled softly, giving the other a placating pat on the shoulder. "Well think of it this way Riku, spring break is just around the corner!"
In truth, he wasn't surprised at all at Riku's words. He'd always been like that - always wanted to get away and find something better and more exciting. Something new.
In fact that was how they first met.
A boy with short legs and a determined expression on his face stepped off from the blacktop, his face set in a mask of determination. That's right - a mask. Because on the inside he felt like he had swallowed a bunny!
The other kindergartners didn't pay any attention just continued with their games. Except for two. "Hey Sora come back!" Ven called. "Yeah, let's play!" Roxas added. "I'll be right there!" Sora answered over his shoulder, before looking forward at the lone boy sitting in the middle of the field.
He took a deep breath and continued forward.
Riku Mizushima never played with the other kids. Instead he would just wander around alone, playing games by himself. So the kids called him names like 'loser' and 'lone boy' and 'weirdo'. Sora always thought they were really mean.
But it had taken him a month to find his courage. Riku was strange. But Sora didn't see the strangeness the other kids did - no he saw odd hair that made him think of his mom;s favorite necklace and eyes that reminded him of bath time. Besides with his brothers, who he did indeed share bath time with, why would he need any friends? They had always been fine alone.
Yet something about seeing Riku... made Sora sad. So he was determined to make things happy. That's why, when he came to the boy sitting down in the grass and staring at the sky, the brunette didn't hesitate to sit down next to him, looking up as well.
"Are you looking at the clouds?" Sora asked. "Huh?" Riku asked, looking over, surprised to see him. He had not expected company. "The clouds. Are you looking at them?" Sora asked, looking at the other's eyes. "No. The stars." "Stars!" Sora exclaimed, before excitedly looking up again, squinting hard to see the shiny drops of light. Yet... all he saw was blue sky and fluffy clouds. He pouted. "But stars only come out when the sun goes night-night." "Not uh! My mommy says that the stars are always there. They never go out. But the sun is a big bully and he makes the stars hide cause they're too small to fight. He wants everyone to see him during the day and not the stars." "Well that's kinda mean..." Sora said sadly. "Uh-huh and it makes them feel bad. So I'm gonna keep on staring at them so they know someone didn't forget them." Riku proclaimed. "So they don't get sad and fall out of the sky?" The brunette asked, remembering the big meteor shower they had had during the summertime. The silverette nodded, staring intently upwards. "Yep." "Can I help you save the stars?" Sora asked, and Riku looked over, seeing the other was getting comfortable on the grass. He smiled and laid down next to him. "Sure." "I'm Sora." "I'm Riku."
There was a long pause between the two, where there was nothing but a breeze running through miles of long grass yet to be cut and whispering of leaves in trees and the happy cries of children at play. "You know, the stars might give us a gift on day." Riku said. "A gift?" Sora asked curiously. "Yeah, for making them happy. They might take us to them!" "But wouldn't we need to be astros first?" Was the innocent query. "Nope the stars will find a better way!" Sora sat up suddenly, looking panicked. "Are we gonna be abducted by aliens?!" "Maybe. But don't worry, they're friendly." "But Riku what if they aren't? What if... what if they're REALLY mad cause no one else was looking?" Riku glanced over and grinned. "Then I'll fight them off! Don't worry Sora, I know how to use a sword!" Sora blinked, calming down enough to lay back down and stare up again. "You're really brave Riku." The other grinned. "Yeah... but don't worry they will be friendly. And then they'll take us away on all sorts of adventures. It'll be a lot of fun!" "Really?!" "Yeah!" "I can't wait!!"
By the next week, the two had already become best friends. In just a few short recesses, they'd already talking about adventures they would have playing games of pretend all over the field. They'd get sticks and spar 'training for the day they had to fight' or they'd attack their shadows as if they were enemies. They'd run to save zones under trees where nothing could hurt them and during lunch they'd brave the food - dramatically dying if the other claimed it was poisoned by the evil ones (usually the foods they didn't like toe at) while the other pretended to avenge him. Riku showed Sora a whole new world of pretend.
But eventually, Sora dragged Riku away from the stars and brought him into a world he had only ever seen from afar. They never forgot their games even still played them but there was also a their only little star Riku kept forgetting. so Sora showed him Tag, Red Rover and London Bridges. He showed him the tetter-totter, the swings and his brothers. He showed him he didn't need to be alone anymore.
And though Riku never made it to the stars, he sure still strived for something. He was, as Sora noted, still looking for adventure and fun - for something better and new. Every time the word 'vacation' was mentioned the silverette was always so excited and ready to go. He wouldn't be surprised if Riku took a profession traveling.
Riku wasn't the only one though who hated Radiant Garden. He couldn't count the times he had heard kids moaning and groaning about how bored they were and how there was nothing to do. Hell, even he himself felt like that at times!
But he... he just didn't understand it at the same time. sure, he loved to travel just as much as Riku, always sought that he had once only dreamed about, but he never wanted to completely leave Radiant. It was home.
And home was where the heart was.... Right?
However, before Sora could dwell further, Riku's voice came into his head. He blinked. "Huh?" He turned and stood on his tip-toes to see over the many heads of people. It was a stretch but he did see the telltale swirly blonde locks. From here he couldn't tell if it was Roxas or Ven - but either way his heart went out to his hurting brother.
He frowned, glancing back. Riku was seventh in line. He had to be quick. "Hey Riku hold my spot!" He turned and ran out of line, dashing down as fast as he could.
As he got closer he started to notice thing. The sloppy clothes, the missing tie, the slouch in his stance (he didn't need the necklace to tell him anything) and new instantly it was Ven. And he was in a VERY bad mood.
"Hey come on smile! Food will do you some good!" Sora said cheerfully, grabbing his brother's wrist. And then without further ado tugged him out of line. He got cursed and snapped at but he didn't care as he dragged his resisting sibling back up the line to where Riku stood - luckily in time since the silverette was now second in line. He threw Ven in and squeezed in himself, sending an apologetic smile to the teens behind them.
He turned to his brother. "So what's making you such a sourpuss?" Ven crossed his arms and grumbled something mean about not having the same lunch as Terra and Aqua. Sora blinked, confused. "Weren't you calling them jackasses just this morning?" He got a scathing glare and a 'That's not the point!' look.
"Well! I did tell you you should make new friends!" Sora said, then paused thoughtfully. Suddenly he grabbed Riku's hand and Ven's and forced them to join and shake. "Ven meet Riku again!"
For his help he got hit on the back of the head from both the boys.
Not long after, the three boys had gotten their trays and went through the motions of gathering their food - much like one would at a buffet but with much less options - and were headed back out the cafeteria with their food, searching for a table.
That was about when Kairi got their and she squealed happily, practically hanging off of Riku - and then she got mad about how he hadn't waited for her and now she would have to stand in line by herself!
Ven and Sora, both put off by the scene, hung back, letting the two chatter - Sora was surprisingly the one who looked more uncomfortable. Then again, being a third wheel was really hurting his relationships with both of them. It wasn't just Ven who might have to look for new friends.
Sora sighed, looking at his brother. "So, what's really bothering you?" He smiled cheekily. "I promise I won't tell." Ven looked at him, and then the story just spilled out. Sora learned about Mr. Owl and the confiscated cell phone and about how Zack was going to pick up Terra today.
Sora and Roxas both, of course, had known about the cellphone since Ven had gotten it. The blonde had forgotten to put on vibrate and one day it rang - harsh metal of course - and the rest was history. The teen had only been lucky that neither of their parents had been home at the time. It seemed that Zack had been the one to give it to Ven - having a third person on his and Terra's plan was apparently 'no big deal'. There was no telling if he who was paying the bill or how Zack had managed to convince Ven but it had been done. Heh, who said the poor couldn't act rich?
By the time the story was done and the problem was laid out, Sora was looking at his brother like he was the stupidest person on the planet. "Ven did you hit your head this morning or did all that death metal finally break your brain? Did you conveniently forget who you shared a womb with?" He laughed as the other's face twisted with disgust - Ven had problems hearing the anatomy of a woman and would either blush bright red or turn green and grossed out.
"You know I don't say this often but jeez that Roxas he and you share such a resemblance I could say you were twins!" Sora proclaimed happily. "It's easy Ven. We'll see Roxas when we go to P.E. and he's getting out right? So just ask him to pick up your phone - I'm sure he will if you promise him a favor. And no one will be the wiser. Meanwhile you can run off to the parking lot and hang out with Zack. See you get your phone AND Zack. So be happy."
Roxas smiled, hurrying after her with Hayner. Well, it wasn't the best sport in the world - but when they did something together it always made things better.
He had no idea of the plot going against him by his twins - but as he was signing his name he did feel as uneasiness whisper over him, as if someone was watching him.

Riku blinked as he talked, seeing that Sora was off in Na-na land again. He stopped though, just grinning at the look his friend had. Sora had always been like that though. One word or thought would send his friend into a ray of memories. That and when anyone mentioned Santa.
He too hadn't forgotten that day long ago, though not as clearly as Sora. Riku never seemed to be lonely. His mother had told him he had always been independent which made her sad sometimes when he pushed her away and told her that he could do it... like cleaning a scrape or something. He felt like... he had to be independent though. Unlike many of the families here, he didn't have a father. So who else could protect his mother? He did, so he tried to be strong and brave about everything.
Apparently, Riku's father had died even before he was born. He yet to this day knew why his father died... his mother never able to talk much about it. His mother had said that he was brave just like Riku... and he knew that was what he was suppose to be like.
"Sora?" He blinked when the brunette looked at him and laughed. "Your brother?" He pointed out again and frowned a bit. His eyes widened though as Sora was off. "Alright."
Ventus sighed as he moved up in the line... but almost jumped out of his skin when a familiar voice came at him from no where. "DAMNIT!" He looked over, seeing Sora and sighed. "Terra and Aqua had Lunch A.... so now I don't have anyone to talk to." Before he could say much more, he was yanked out of the line and down it. "HEY! WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOIN--AH!" He bumped into Riku and heard some kids behind them snapping at Sora for not allowing one but TWO people cut him!
Ven blinked as he looked at Sora and frowned. "Look, I just told you I don't want ne---" Before he could finish THAT, his and Riku's hands were joined. "BLECK!" The two called... and hands parted only to slap the same thing.
Two red and a blue tray were taken and filled with some juice. Riku took some spaghetti and meatballs. Ventus grabbed a tuna fish sandwich and a bag of chips. They all left the small area and off they went to find a table. Luckily they were earlier than the rest and finding a table wasn't so hard. They started to walk when suddenly they heard a horrible... familiar voice. "RIKU! SORA!"
A red haired girl rushed over and pouted. "Riku, why didn't you wait for me?" The silverette blinked and looked down at his plate. "I'm starving?" the girl frowned and put her hands on her hips. About this time, Sora and Ven vacated the area and found a table.
Ven sighed as he popped his chip bag opened and looked at Sora from the corner of his eye. Sora wouldn't let it drop until he told him what was wrong... so he let it out. When he was done, he listened to his brother and blinked. "Heh, how come you got all the brains, Sora?" He shook his head and smiled. Only problem was... Roxas had some really horrible pay backs...
He looked up, seeing Riku and Kairi still.... arguing or something and shook his head. "He should dump that bitch." And with that, he took a huge bite from his sandwich.
The week continued as such. They woke up at a godly time in the morning wither it be from an alarm clock or music... or a brother smashing you in the head or face with a pillow, or a parent yelling at you to move your lazy butt and that you were going to be late.
It was clear that Ven was never going to catch the bus every again... so like the year before, he was sent to school on his bike.
But nonetheless, it was Friday, the day that everyone was waiting for and when the last bell rang, the halls were made with kids rushing out of Hell.
Olette walked into the band room, dodging other kids who were rushing all over. She didn't need to rush though seeing that her mother picked her up everyday and that she would wait for her unlike the buses. She blinked though when she saw a familiar blonde and walked up to him. "Hey Roxas." She smile sweetly as she looked for her clarinet. "Did you want my mom to give you a ride?"
Another locker closed as a redhead looked back at his friend. "Ready, amigo?" He laughed as he walked out the side door that everyone seemed to forget and walking into the nice breeze. Demyx seemed to be coming over to his house down in the gallows. His friend seriously needed to chill out and he had the perfect way to do so.
They started to walk off, never looking back at the high school. Luckily, it wasn't a long walk. Another cigarette was pulled from his tin and he lit it up. "Welp, only 173 days left!"
Blue eyes seemed to brighten as he pushed through the crowd. Finally, FRIDAY! This meant the weekend was coming up! He raced down the stairs and to a small corner where some bikes were held. He searched his pocket for his keys and found them, unlocking the lock on his bike and pushing the chains in a small pouch that was on the bike. He quickly pulled it out and hopped into it before racing down the sidewalk.
No, he didn't even bother waiting for his brothers. He needed to go get a job!
Honestly... ever since him and Zack started this... Ventus had grown distant from his brothers. Guess that was love for you.
His tie flapped in the wind as he peddled fast down the road and turned down a street. He loved this one because it had a huge HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILL! He flew down the hill and turned once more, seeing a grocery store coming up. He pulled into the parking lot and up on the sidewalk where some bike holders were. He got off and strapped his bike up again before going to the doors.
He looked up, reading the name of the shop.
Wall Market
This was the most popular store in the city because it was opened 24/7 and it had anything anyone could ever want. He walked on a black pad and the doors opened wide, giving him a burst of air condition. He smiled as he walked in, seeing all the people shopping inside. He pulled his backpack close as he walked down the isle and looked around. He turned the corner to the frozen section and smiled as he saw someone in a thermal jacket and a price gun.
He walked slowly, trying not to make much noise even if the people around him didn't seem to care. He walked up to the man who was squatting over some gallons of milk, pricing them quickly and suddenly... grabbed the pricing gun. With that, he laughed and rushed down the isle.
Back at the school yard, the buses were quickly getting full and about do depart. "SORA!" A silverette called over the roar of the bus engines. He waved to get his brunette friend's attention. "Wanna hang out!?"

Like Ven, Sora knew that Roxas would not go easy on his 'favor in return'. He loved having favors he could dangle over their heads and force his brothers into doing all sorts of crap.
He blinked, hearing the other's comment about Kairi. He looked up with a frown seeing the couple.
"I wish." Sora commented harshly - getting a very surprised looked from his brother. The brunette blushed, ducking his head in shame, and nibbled on his burrito. "I didn't say anything."
Roxas did indeed help Ven out - had even considering doing it for free at first - but he left the ominous words 'You owe me' hanging over them as he left the cellphone in the other's palm, sounding in quite a bad mood. It had a lot to do with the blossoming bruise on his cheek. Thanks to Ven's detour he had gotten to run into, of all people, Raijin. Now it was rare the boy to ever pick fights without Seifer around but because Roxas was just having the luckiest day in the world, Rai decided that his 'rude behavoir this morning' could not go unpunished.
Five days came and went and the students were already quickly adapting their their school routines. Sora would almost always get the bathroom first - early bird gets the worm - Roxas would eventually roll out of bed after and Ven would trudge out of bed. They stopped seeing him on the bus which was no surprise to either boy.
The bus was rather boring, and using the twins sat together, one dozing against the window the other practically spread across the seat. But they felt luckier then Ven!
The moment they were at school, they split, each going to their areas where they knew their friends would be and then the minute the bell rang they were off to class. There weren't any major incidents so far - taunts from Seifer from afar, sneers from Larxene, another broken Wednesday tradition by Riku, And Terra waiting at the bike gate for Ven just to deliver a gift to him from Zack not looking all too happy about being Santa Claus.
By Friday, all of them had homework and some of them were unlucky enough to have gone through a quiz or a test already! Yet their was a sigh of relief and excitement that the weekend always brought, making the students just that much quicker.
Roxas sighed as the last bell rang, gathering hios things quickly. He needed to get to the buses in like five minutes - the stupid drivers didn;t care if they left anyone behind, unlike the student school and their annoying 'No Child Left Behind' crap.
He paused however as Olette voice met his ears and he looked over at the suddenly shy sociable gal he'd known for a long, long time now. He was reminded of the phone conversation he had with Hayner just last night.
"Man you really are an idiot." Hayner grumbled. "And I thought Sora's was the oblivious twin!" "That was uncalled for!" Roxas growled. "Come on man you can't tell you haven't noticed!" "Noticed what?" "Olette!" "What... about her?" "Man she totally DIGS you!" "...Huh?" "She likes you. She's crushen'. She's writing your name in her notebooks! She wants to-" "Okay I get it!" Roxas cried, blushing bright red, afraid of what Hayner would say next. He had his perverted moments. There was a pause between them then Hayner grumbled. "So ask her out." "A-Are you SURE she... you know likes-likes me?" "Man, trust me on this!"
The day had been full of uncomfortableness and knowing glances by not only Hayner but Pence too. Apparently his curly blonde had announced to their bhubby friend of Roxas' 'epiphany' of sorts.
Roxas swallowed, suddenly finding his throat overly dry and his flute case was slipping in his sweaty palms. He'd never had anyone like him before and didn't know how to handle it. "U-U-Uh sure!" Acting like a total geek, however, probably would not help him.
Demyx frowned a little at the other's words. "That's 173 too many!" He sighed unhappily, shaking his head. "Why is it that school has to be such a drag? You know if they taught cool stuff like sitar playing or umm... video game theory that would be COOL ya know? But no we have to learn stupid stuff like biology and chemistry."
He kicked a pebble on the sidewalk, sighing unhappily. They just weren't lucky at all.
Sora shouldered his bag, walking across the blacktop towards the circle of buses quickly, wild spiky hair bouncing with his steps. However a cry made him hesitate and look around for the source. He caught sight of Riku and grinned brillantly at the other's suggestion. "Would I?!" He charged through the masses to get to his best friend's side.
Once he was there he threw his arms around the other pulling him in a firm hug - today had been rather stressing since he had been one of the lucky test-takers and he was just ready for some fun! "You're the best bud ever Riku! What are we gonna do?!"
Aqua hummed as she slammed her locker closed, swinging her car keys on her fingers in a showy sort of way - that was right, she had a car. That's what you got being part of the middle class that actually HAD class.
She headed for the parking lot and found her space, unlocking the door and throwing in the books she would need for the weekend's homework. But the first thing she was doing when she got home was ging for a nice, long swim.
Terra meanwhile had his hands shoved in his pockets, books balanced between his side and his elbow, as he trekked the three blocks from school to 'Aerith's Flowers'. He tried to keep his face a mask of neutrality, but inside he was praqctically jumping for joy.
Sure, it was fucking girly as hell, but he loved his job. He used to study botany all the time when he was younger and would always help his mom out in the garden whenever she got into the 'planting' mood.
He sighed happily, thinking of pleasant tomorrows where his boyfriend came sweeping to his door for a date, with a bouquet of the rare of beautiful Wolf's Bane for him - not that he was going to be the fucking GIRL in the relationship or something, but damn was he going to demand flowers. And muffins. Lots of fucking muffins. And maybe a pet bunny and a rainbow shirt.
He opened the glass door, the bell overhead ringing to tell all of his entrance. He could already see Aerith with a customers, helping the man pick out the perfect daisy for his Daisy.
Terra snorted, walking into the green room without complaint. He set his books in one of the hidden cabinets before quickly washing up and throwing on his green apron (god he was glad he wasn't wearing pink like Aerith) and quietly went to the cashier to relieve the former employee. He waved the other off, before taking out their time clock sheet, writing down the time he had gotten there and the time his co-worker, ironically NAMED Flower, left.
Meanwhile, in all innocence and good workmanship, was a black-haired college student only trying to pay his bills and feed his little bro. So, that's why Zack was kneeling in front of dairy products, gun shooting quickly as he set the cartons of milk on their shelves. He was shivering only slightly due to the extreme cold the open refrigerators let out.
He was just about to put the price of 1.62 on a case of slim milk - when suddenly he found his pricing gun snatched away. He blinked, looking at his hand in confusion, as if it suddenly learned magician tricks without him being conscious of it - but an evil cackle and loud footsteps made him look over his shoulder at a retreating - "Ven!!"
The milk was hastily set down as Zack suddenly spun on his heels, racing after the blonde with a wide grin. "Hey you little thief!!"

Olette smiled happily as Roxas said alright. She was honestly doubting it seeing that Roxas was usually busy with his practicing or out with the boys. But he actually said... YES! Her cheeks colored before she walked to him. "Alright then, just follow me!" She turned and was about to go out the way she came in... but a certain blonde was coming their way.
Seifer and his gang were bad enough... why did they have to be bothered by Larxene too! At least Larxene terrorized everyone though. "Actually, let's go out the back way." She whispered before quickly hurrying Roxas to the side door. They rushed through and Olette shut the door behind her. She smiled as she looked back at Roxas and started to walk down the narrow back hallway.
"Hey, maybe tomorrow, you can come over my house and we can practice our new piece together." She stopped and blushed under her curls. "I mean... if you're not busy."
Axel only grinned as he looked at his friend when they turned the corner and started going down a steep hill. The place was carved UNDER the rest of the city and it's blue walls were lined with graffiti. "Well, let's get to my house and just chill. Play some video games and then do some homework. I'll order a pizza too."
Riku blinked as he saw those arms again. "S-Sora!" He cried but it was too late, he was pulled into a tight hug. Usually boys grow out of hugs... at least with their other boy friends. He smiled though and carefully pushed him away. "Hmm... how about a movie and something to chew on later?" He was about to tell Sora what was playing at the small theater when all of a sudden that voice rang out again.
"Riku!" A redhead rushed over and giggled as she wrapped her arm around Riku's. "What's going on?" Riku blinked before smiling down at his girlfriend. "Oh, I was just asking Sora if he wanted to got to the movies with me." "Oh! Can I come?" "S---" Aquamarine eyes looked over, expecting to see Sora with that smile of his... but he was dead wrong. He could see that look in the other's eyes before pausing. "Sorry Kairi, boy's night out huh?"
He pulled himself away from her as she frowned and wrapped an arm around Sora's shoulder. "I'll call you tonight though! Love ya!" He waved the redhead off as the two started to walk down the street towards the Center.
Footsteps could be heard along with some panting. This was finally his chance! His little ponytail and big dumbo ears bounced as he rushed into the student parking lot. He looked around, panting hard when he saw her. ♥Aqua♥. He rushed through the cars and up to her blue one, panting a bit more when he finally got close.
With a swallow and gasp, he straighten and ran a hand over his head to make sure his sleek, freshmen look was up to par. "E-excuse me?" he squeaked, grabbing the seniors attention. Those... those eyes... He felt like he was flying in the clouds as she looked at him. She was looking... AT HIM. His heart pounded and his palms started to sweat, realizing what he was here for.
"Uh... here, you left this in the cafeteria." He slowly held out his hand, showing a keychain with a wave on it. He had saw it fall off her bag... not that he was stalking her or anything... and was actually going to keep it (and sleep with it) but he knew that if he was going to meet Aqua without his cousin's help, he'd have to give it back. Luckily Terra hadn't realized that he was there yet!
"Thank you so much, sir. Please come again." The young woman waved as the man walked off with the daisies. The green eyed woman smiled as she looked back at the man that was behind the counter. "Oh!" She blinked in shock before giggling. "I didn't even see you come in. You should be a secret agent!"
The woman walked up to him and smiled more. "On time again! It's so good to finally get someone who doesn't call out all the time." She frowned a bit. "It's hard to find someone so serious about flowers, especially a boy."
The woman was Aerith. Honestly, she wasn't much older that Terra, and about a year younger that Zack. The flower shop was named after her but it was her father that really owned the place. It was her idea and her work and when she was old enough and the shop was on its feet, she would take the name of the deed for it.
"We got a new shipment in. Would you help putting them on display for me?" She asked sweetly. Now most of her flowers she grew and she was the only place around that sold lilies. She had a passion for lilies that no one could understand. Of course they were beautiful but they were flowers of the dead and really only bought for funerals. Them and Calla... which looked like lilies.
Ventus laughed as he looked over his shoulder, seeing the other rush after him. He dodged people as he turned into the next isle and ran up it towards the bathroom hall. He could hear people grumbling behind him as Zack cried out apologies.
The blonde rushed into the back hallway where the bathrooms were and turned the corner before pressing himself onto a wall. He could hear footsteps coming and grinned. When the shadow got close, he pull his hand out and pulled Zack's thermal strong. The college student almost toppled over on Ven but the younger didn't seem to have a problem as their bodies pressed against each other. "Hehehehe~~~"

Roxas smiled shakily at her happy orders, carefully walking around the strewn chairs and messy floor, about to follow after her - but she quickly changed direction.
He blinked, a little confused but he went along with it, glancing back curiously. He just barely caught sight of electric blonde hair - Larxene - before he was in the adjacent hall.
Heh, he should probably thank her. He was seriously getting sick with all these run ins with his personal enemies.
But when he opened his mouth to say anything, nothing was forthcoming. He shut his mouth blushing hard and looked over as she mentioned praqcticing togehter. "U-Um okay!"
Crap when did practicing together suddenly become so intimate?!
"Axel..." Demyx said slowly, his eyes glowing as pizza was mentioned. "You are a God!" What? He really liked his pizza!
Sora grinned at the look on Riku's face, letting the other distangle himself. He knew, compared to most people, he was a little eccentric. But that was what a lot of people liked about him. He liked to give hugs, was almost always considerate and selfless, had some of the best advice this side of Radiant and well, let's face it he had the cutest face and pout combination this side of the universe.
Of course, they were never absolutes. And the walking contradiction in a short plaid shirt and an over-happy voice just then decided to make an appearance and suddenly tried to invite herself a long.
Sora didn't know it, but the minute she was there his body tensed up, his eyebrows knitted downwards, his lips turned down in a angry frown, and his blue eyes darkened like that of a storm. Damn it Kairi, shove off! He thought furiously - then immediately felt guilty.
What was wrong with him? He'd been friends with Kairi for years - hell he could still remembered getting into fights over her with Riku when they were eight - both of them shoving each other back and forth and arguing who Kairi liked better.
Yet, when he heard Riku and Kairi had gotten together, he didn't bat an eyelash. His heart didn't twist painfully with regret full of missed chances and words unsaid... He just shrugged and told Riku it was cool and went back to the video game they were playing.
But now he was beginning to wish he had said something. 'Cause now, every time he was together with them he just felt so... out of place! So... jealous all the time - and not because he lost Kairi on the dating scheme, but because he was losing Riku as a best friend.
That's why, when he heard Riku reject Kairi, his head lifted some in surprise and his heart jumped for joy. He couldn't stop the brillant grin that spread across his face or the almost triumphant way he said goodbye to the red-head and stood close to Riku as they walked down the sidewalk - just enough to make it seem like they were close friends. Unconciously, however, he was maing a point. That HE was the one by Riku's side - not her.
Aqua was just about to get into her car when a call made her look up. And she saw just about the dorkiest-looking kid she ever did see. With the big ears, big glasses and greasy hair, he practically screamed out all that was nerd.
He was incredibly short too - under Ven's height even! - and from the way he handled himself, it was obvious to her the kid was freshmeat material.
She leaned against her car expectantly, waiting for the other to speak, but blinked in surprise when she saw the other hold up a familar keychain - it's links broken. She blinked, then glanced in her car where her bag was, noticing the pendant was indeed missing.
She reached out, taking the char from him - on the back of the wave in dark letters was the word Tsunami. She glanced down at the nerdy boy then chuckled. "Well thank you."
Terra chuckled at her secret agent comment. "I'm no James Bond." He admitted, trying to pretend to be disappointed at that fact. He liked Aerith as a boss - she was sweet and kind. Ugh, if he was into girls and didn't have a deep sadism complex he would asked her out. He was actually shocked she wasn't already dating.
"Well don't tell anyone," Terra joked softly, smiling easily. "But I love flowers." The only thing he hated - besides getting pricked by thorns more often then not - was that this was only a part-time job. Temporary.
It wasn't like he could go into the flower business (oh God no, his father would literally whip him to death) but at least he got to this right?
Besides it wasn't his dream job. His silly dream job was-
His thoughts cut off as he heard Aerith;s request and he nodded. "Yeah no problem."
Zack dodged left and right around the customers of the store, blushing a little as he nearly bowled over a elderly couple. He yelled his I'm Sorry's behind him - it wasn't his fault Ven had to be so damn short and made it look so easy.
He grinned when the other disappeared down the bathroom hall. Got you now! It was nothing but a dead end for the blonde. He skid and turned down the dark hall - only to yelp in surprise as a hand shot out from the shoulders and tugged him in.
He stumbled a little, pressing flush against the younger and more pliant body against him, and he looked down, smirking. "Hello Ven." He placed his hands on either side of the blonde's head as he leant down. "Damn sneak," He murmured, hot breath ghosting along the other's cheeks before lips pressed against the other's in a sensual kiss, tongue plunging into the others mouth.

The two walked down the hall silently. She knew that Hayner must of told Roxas that she liked him... because he was acting really strange around her today. It kind of made her feel nervous though... that Roxas was nervous around her. She didn't want him to be... but in a sense, it was kind of cute.
They walked out and down the hill to the pick up area. She smiled as she paused and looked around. "Oh! There she is!" She pointed over to a yellow car in which a woman was waiting. "That's my mom. Come on!" She giggled before running down the hill towards her car.
When she got there, she leaned into the window. "Hey mom! Do you mind giving Roxas a ride?" "Roxas?" The woman asked before looking pass her daughter at the blonde boy walking up to the car. "Ah, so this is the Roxas I've been hearing so much about?" "Mooooom~~" Olette blushed but nodded. The woman smiled and nodded as well. "Sure, I'll bring him home." She looked back at the boy and smiled more. "Nice to meet you Roxas. Where bouts do you live?"
The two juniors turned again and only walked a few more houses before they stopped and walked up some steps. It was a condo made of bricks and it stretched as far as one could see. Poor families were placed here so... the place didn't look all too hot.
The door opened, bringing out the clouded air of incense burning. The place was muggy and nothing seemed to match any. There was a beaten down couch in the living room that had an ugly round rug under it. No one knew what color it was anymore. In the corner was a television that still had an antenna on it and there were some crooked frames on the wall showing horrible pictures of the family... or the memories of the family that use to be.
"AUNT SERA! I'M UPSTAIRS WITH DEM!" The redhead called out as he headed up the narrow stairwell. "ALRIGHT!" A woman called back from what seemed to be the kitchen.
Axel didn't have a very easy life. His father died in a drunk driver accident... him being the drunk driver. His mother had been arrested a few years ago from drug abuse and the selling of narcotics. Then there was his brother who was in the gang until recently. Axel and Reno were going to be placed in a foster home but before that could happen, their father's sister adopted them.
Her name was Sera and she hardly had any money so she couldn't move the boys out of the gallows... so she moved them closer to downtown where people were nice and things were clean. She was proud that Axel had passed the test to get into Hollow Bastion and that Reno was accepted to college. And they said these boys had no future.
Axel yawned as he turned the corner and walked ALL the way down the hallway to the last door and opened it. His room looked pretty shitty too. He had a mattress that had been passed down from someone who had passed it down before and so on...so some cotton was falling out of it in places. His blankets were all sorts of things ranging from ragged looking sheets to extremely worn comforters that were faded enough so that one would have to look hard to see that there was a flower design on it.
The bed had to of been the most comfortable thing on this planet though. There were a few other things in the room such as some beanbag chairs in front of a TV stand made of poor wood. Some video game systems that had half peeled off stickers that kids who owned it before tried to take off. There was a cheep wooden dresser in the corner and a crate that said This Side Up on it for his nightstand.
The thing that topped it off as the single bulb that stuck out of his ugly wooden wall.
"Make yourself at home, I'll go call for some pizza." Demyx had seen his room and home plenty of times... so he knew he had gotten use to the look... and the smell. His aunt burned those incense night and day so for everyone who was new to the house would fall on their back from how strong and heavy it was.
Riku smiled as he pulled his arms away from Sora and sighed, shoving his hands into his pockets. "Well, now I can finally breath." He laughed softly. "I love her and all but it's nice just to get away." He looked down at Sora and smiled. "Besides, I hardly saw you all summer!"
They chatted all the way down until they got to the theaters. They stopped and the silverette looked up at all the choices. "Hmm... so what do you want to see?"
Braig swallowed as she took the charm from his hand... and felt her skin brushing his. OH GOD THANK YOU! He was never going to wash that hand again! NEVER! He gulped a bit as she chuckled. That... that smile. Those teeth... so.... beautiful. He could feel sweat running down his neck as he pulled at his collar.
"Uh-um... yo---you're welcome! BYE!" He turned and rushed off, his ponytail following behind. Man... that had been so cool! He ran all the way up to the pick up lot and looked around for dark red car... and easily found it. He ran up to it, pulling on the handle and CLIMBED into the SUV. He plopped into his chair and sighed happily before looking at his aunt. "Alright!"
Aerith smiled before walking off towards the back of the store and opened a wooden door that read Staff Only in flowered lettering. She waited for Terra and smiled. "See?"
She got out of the way, letting Terra see all the beautiful flowers that had been delivered today. They shined small bits of sun that the wooden cracks of the ceiling let in. It was apparent that she had already taken the flowers from their boxed and tended to each and every one of them. She made sure they were alright from their trip and that their leaves and petals were in place.
"Aren't they beautiful?" She sighed happily.
Ven laughed as he looked up at the other but his eyes grew dark as the other leaned in.
He knew what was coming and closed his eyes before soft lips touched his. He had been waiting for this for three weeks! He moaned softly as their tongues danced. The price gun fell from the blonde's hand and fell onto the cement floor below, making a loud noise but didn't break.
The free hand now ran up and wrapped its fingers into black hair, tugging it wantonly as he moaned some more. This other hand wrapped around a strong waist and down the jeans to grip onto a butt cheek.

Roxas blinked as he spotted the yellow car. A bright car for a happy family - after all Olette's favorite color was orange! What a strange color to like...
He blinked but follow Olette tentatively over, glancing through the windows that held the optimistic woman inside. She looked similar to her daughter except her hair was slightly more curly and her face was more drawn with age. Still she had the same smile Olette had adopted as her own.
He blushed nervously - wasn't meeting the parents a big thing? - and smiled. "Uh well I live on Traverse Drive off of Main Street." Who ever named his street though they were funny. Since two cars shared the same road is was a drive shared between cars. Ha, ha.
Demyx, as Axel predicted, didn't flinch at the smell of incense and didn't bat an eye when he saw his room - though when he first came here he had been really nervous and upset. He hadn't liked seeing one of his best buds living like this and didn't know how to act.
Until of course Axel beat him over the head and snapped at him that he didn't need any of his pity. It was still had the next few times over, but eventually he got used to it. Axel still had little things to make him happy - a T.V., cigarettes, a bed. And Aunt Sera really perked the place up - maybe not physically but she had a pretty good attitude. Maybe because she knew she was doing her best...
And now, Reno and Axel were doing the same. They weren't going to follow in their parents footsteps, hopefully. Reno was going to college after all, and Axel had made it to HB - the most prestigious high school this side of town. Most people who went their, were more likely to not only get into college but also survive it.
Hard work paid off, right? Heh, he'd probably be on the lower precentage of those who DIDN'T pass college...
Demyx sat his sitar on the ground, lounging against the worn bed. Mmm, pizza... He wondered if he and Axel could move to the future were pizza came three minutes you ordered it not thirty. On speacial space transportation thingies!
Sora smiled sadly. "Yeah, but I guess that's the downside to have a girlfriend." He wouldn't know of course - he was too cutesy to get a girlfriend. Girls liked people like Riku - hot and buff at the same time. He was just you know too sweet, not very aggressive or dominant. Huh, too girly.
He and Riku talked about inane things all the way to the theaters, like how unfair so-and-so was being, or how much work they'd have to do this weekend, or about -ugh - jobs! He was not looking forward to job searching, and was putting it off as much as he could.
When they got there, Sora glanced over the titles, recognizing quite a few he had seen previews of. "Well you know, nothing with the three S's! Nothing Sappy, Scary or Stupid!" Sappy and scary movies were for dates (either to cuddle or to cling) and stupid movies were for those who had low IQ's and didn't realize what a bad movie was.
Though... sappy movies were good - in the privacy of his own home were no one knew his secret love for romance. And scary movies were exciting at Halloween parties, or late at night during sleepovers. He missed the days when he and Riku would go out of their way to scare each other throughout the night after a particularly nasty horror movie. Once they'd even woken up Carina, Riku's mom, 'cause he had screamed so loud.
He grinned up at Riku, then nodded. "Why not The Dragon Rider?" It was supposed to be a action-adventure flick, so hopefully it would be good.
Aqua raised an eyebrow as the kid took off then shook her head. What an... odd kid. She got in her car, throwing the key chain over the seat, and lounged back waiting.
After school traffic was murder, thanks to parents picking up their kids and the other seniors and juniors who had their own cars trying to get out. She reached over and turned on her car, turning on some music. She usually waited three or four songs before trying to get out of there - it was always easier that way.
Terra followed her back to the small room, looking inside. It was like a burst of color, flowers of all shapes and sizes, of all leaves and petals. He couldn't help but smile, and nodded in agreement to her words. "Yeah they are."
All of them had already been carefully tended to by expert hands. Aerith seemed to know everything about flowers, knew just how much care one needed over another. Heh, he still had a lot to learn.
All that was left was to put them in good places for display. Somewhere where they got as much sun as they needed, or as much warmth.
Zack's fingers wandered behind Ven's neck, brushing against the ends of soft blonde hair. His other hand wrapped around the others waist, bringing their bodies even closer together.
He broke the kiss momentarily, huskily murmuring, "You're fucken' hot Ven." He brushed his lips teasing across the others chin, before bringing their lips together for another passionate kiss. Zack was in no means inexperienced and Ven was definitely not shy, if the hand on his ass was any indication.

The woman smiled and nodded. "Oh, that's no drive at all. Hop on in!" Olette looked back at Roxas and smiled before opening the door to the front while the blonde boy sat in the back.
When they got their seat belts on and everyone was ready, they were off down the street. Unlike Aqua, most parents didn't like to wait. So she got in the line with everyone else but she didn't seem to mind any.
As they waited to pull out of the school, the woman looked in her rear view mirror at Roxas and smiled. "I'm so sorry that I forgot to introduce myself earlier! I'm Joi." She laughed softly before moving a bit in line. "So, I heard you played flute very well. How long have you been playing?"
Axel walked down the stairs and picked up the phone. He dialed a number, not even having to look it up. It was the same shop they always ordered from. A pizza shop that Reno had brought him to years ago that just seemed to have the perfect ingredients to make each bite as good as the last. It was the most popular pizza joint in Radiant Garden.
He waited a bit before a woman picked up the phone. "Gold Saucer Pizza, can I help you?" "Hey, can I make an order?" "Yea, what do you want?" "Uh... can I have two large pizzas?" "What do you want on 'em?" "Can I have one with Anchovies, tomato and onions and one veggie lovers." "Alright, is that delivery or pick-up?" "Delivery~" "What's the name and where are you?" "The name's Axel, got it memorized~~" "AXEL!? Hey! I haven't seen you in forever! How have you been?" "Stuck in school." The redhead pouted. "Alright, do you still live on 101 Olympus Memorial, unit 8?" "Yep!" "Alright, hotty, it'll be there in 30 minutes!"
The redhead hung up the phone and reached for his bag. Searching through it, he pulled out his wallet and frowned. That's right... he didn't have a job, right? "AUNT SERA!"
The Dragon Rider? Riku smiled as he looked at the title. Personally he liked scary movies over anything... but stupid and sappy wasn't his ordeal either... and he DID know about Sora's weak spot for romance, weak everywhere but with him and Kairi. He knew why though and he was trying not to get caught up with his girlfriend so much... since he knew that face of Sora's very well now.
"Sure." The silverette smiled and nodded as they walked to the booth and seeing that no one was in line, he just walked up to the man. "Two for The Dragon Rider." He pulled out his wallet and paid the fee. He himself didn't have a job. His mother didn't want a job to interfere with his education but he knew the real reason. She just didn't want him to leave the house any more than he had to. So he got money doing chores.
The man took the money and gave Riku two tickets in which the boy split and handed one to Sora. "So, want something to drink and maybe some popcorn?" He asked as they walked inside the main lobby. The place smelt of butter from the popcorn machine and the yummy smell of candy. It had been a long time since they went to the theater together.
Aerith smiled as she walked in and took a box that held some flowers. "We weren't busy today so I'm sure we can get a lot done." She was a bit sad that Terra had such little hours. She knew his story about splinting rent for the apartment but there was a good thing. Flower might be transferring to another college... so that means that Terra could take her place.
Even if her name was Flower, she didn't have the same passion for them as Terra. Oddly enough... seeing that Terra seemed more as a... well... rough boy.
She couldn't judge though for it wasn't her place and loved the other nonetheless for being a great help to her store.
Ventus's eyes darkened when he heard the other and grinned. He moaned a bit as he was pulled into yet another kiss. They continued to battle when there was a sound of someone walking down the hallway. Being as short as he was, Ven quickly slipped under Zack's arm and picked up the price gun before jumping into the middle of the hall... and just in time too. One of the managers were coming turned into the hallway.
"Here." The blonde smiled as he handed Zack the price gun. "You dropped this." He smiled as he ran a hand through his hair. He turned to the man walking by him and smiled. "Hello sir, I'm Ventus Holani and was I wondering where I might be able to apply for a job here."
The man blinked, not ready to hear someone asking such a question on his way to the bathroom. "Oh um.... over there." He pointed to a computer that was down a hall right in front of a door that read 'Staff Only'. The blonde smiled and nodded. "Thanks!" He watched the man enter the men's bathroom before looking back at Zack. "Meet you in the bathroom after your shift....?"

Roxas smiled nervously, before getting in as well, unconsciously buckling his seat belt - well it had been drilled into his head for years thanks to his parents.
He leaned back in his seat, knowing it would be a looooong wait - especially since it was the first week of school. Once people started to join sports and clubs and other such after school activities over the course of the year, things would calm considerably. But that wouldn;t be for another two weeks or so.
He looked up and smiled faintly. "Um, I'm not sure." He answered truthfully. "It's been a long time."
Demyx licked his lips as he heard the pizza orders. Mmm anchovies his favorite! Yeah, he knew that was weird - but he loved seafood. He, amazingly, even knew how to grill salmon! Of course it took a lot of convincing to make his dad let him even use the grill (they still hadn't forgotten the time he melted a pot by trying to boil water... with no water inside.
How could he forget water?!
He listened to the commotion going on in the other room, chuckling when he heard Axel whining for money - Aunt Sera didn't have much of a choice, since the pizza was already ordered. Haha, what a sneak.
Sora grinned as they walked into the lobby, glancing at Riku. "Ri, how long have you know me again? Do you even HAVE to ask?" It was candy and popcorn! No sugar and salt for Sora was like... no cussing for Ven. It just didn't happen.
He grinned as they went to the concession stand. "You know next time I'll probably be able to pay." Riku was so lucky he still got to do chores for money - their parents now eliminated that option, though they STILL had to get done it was just now done from the 'goodness of their hearts'.
Twelve minutes later found them munching on popcorn and lounging back in semi-comfortable seats as they watched the previews.
Terra chuckled, walking forward and snatching up a plant or two. "Well, I suppose that's good luck for us." He'd only worked a few days so far, but he found that the florist life was actually rather busy - when not tending to customers, they tended to the flowers and the shop.
And business was surprisingly good - a lot of people knew Aerith had excellent quality in flowers, and everyday another person was getting engaged, married, hospitalized, going on a date, getting sick, etc, etc.
Zack chuckled some as Ven ducked down, trying his best to act nonchalant and that he hadn't just gotten ravished. He rolled his eyes, marveling at the other as he fiddled with the price gun.
He watched his manager pass by before smirking at his boyfriend. "You know it." He swiped the gun over the other's cheek leaving a price of 12.95 munny on him. "Mmm, expensive for just a kiss on the cheek, but I suppose your worth it." He teased, leaning over to bestow said kiss.
"See you soon." The male purred, before he headed off down the aisle, back to the dairy section.
Several hours later found many people in different places. Roxas, being the only one home until dinner, found himself stuck cleaning the dishes and vacuuming the living room. At current he was sitting on the kitchen table, flute raised to his lips as he played a song by memory, watching the timer. He was, after all, cooking dinner tonight.
He missed a note and cursed. "Damn. That wasn't right."
Demyx mashed buttons on his controller madly. "Come on Come o-No! No! NOOOOO!!!" Axel burst into maniacal laughter as Demyx's character on screen fell from the battle field and died, even after valiantly trying to save him.
The water-lover pouted, and hit the other over the head. "Hey leave me alone!!" Two pizza boxes were strewn around them, the pieces almost all gone. Hey, they were growing boys!
Demyx unhappily stuck some crust he hadn't eaten earlier in his mouth, tearing at it viciously.
Sora yawned some as he pushed open the front doors of the theater, the sky above aflame with the setting sun. He glanced at Riku as he came up beside him and smiled. "See, the movie wasn't bad right?"
It had been a rather typical 'normal boy to hero' sort of story - except the hero was actually a heroine, and the twist was she was off to save some guy 'prince'. Kind of a twist on the normal plotline.
The best part he though was the dragons. They had been animated quite beautifully, and the voice actors they choose for them had fit rather well. The fight scenes had been, as Sora predicted, quite action-y, especially when the dragons fought each other, then it jsut got radical and cool.
"It's too bad dragons don't exist, it's be so awesome to take part in those types of fights and stuff!"
Terra sighed boredly as he sketched on his notepad, sititng at the cashier's desk. It had been worse then slow today - it had been dead! Apparently no one was terminally ill, and relationships were missing because they'd only gotten one other customer besides that Daisy guy.
The good thing was, Aerith and him were able to get up the whole stock of new plants up, and he had already swept the store TWICE. It was now close to closing time.
Terra licked his lips, humming curiously as he sketched a triangular ear, tilting his head. He was no artiste, but he would draw one hell of a wolf.
Zack hummed mysteriously as he set away his price gun, threw his apron in the employees' closet, and pockets his name tag. All done for the day!
He snatched his time clock card, swiping it through the electronic time clock.
Thank you Zack! It read, and the black-haired male was quickly on his way, weaving through the last minute shoppers and trekking towards the bathrooms, trying to appear as innocent as possible.
He opened the door, poking his head inside. "Ven?"

The door suddenly opened and a man walked in. He blinked as he looked at his blonde son and smiled a bit before closing the door. Sora had called a few hours ago, saying that he was out with Riku and they were going to the movies and dinner. He had thought Riku had a girlfriend but he definitely knew about the boys night out ordeal. He had done the same thing with Bryna when they were first going out.
Ventus on the other hand hadn't called him or Bryna. They knew he was going to Wall Market to apply for a job... which they were skeptical about due to that was the place where Zack worked. Then they also knew that he was staying the night over his best friend's house... who was Terra... and Terra happened to live with Zack.
If only they knew...
He shook his head and smiled as he sat down next to Roxas. "It was nice of Mrs. Dagley to drop you off." He started. He could see his son's face redden and grinned. "You and Olette getting close?"
Axel was laying on a beanie bag, slouching as far as one could slouch. All his pieces were gone, only a few crumbs left and maybe an olive here and an onion there. His lighter flicked as he pulled something to his mouth. A bowl. He lit the bottom of it and took a deep breath, sucking in the good stuff before letting it out.
When he opened his eyes, he blinked, and started to laugh his ass off. "HAHAHA! What a cheap shot! His eyes widened when he was hit and pouted. "OW! Fine, give me that thing." He took the controller as he handed over the bowl. He pressed retry and started smashing at the controllers as well, totally kicking the guy's ass. "YEA! YEA! YE----" "AXEL!" Axel blinked, hearing his Aunt at the door. "WHAT!?" He yelled as he continued hitting on the opponent. "Keep it down! I'm going to bed!" "ALRIGHT!" He grinned as he slashed one more time. "OOOOOOOOOOOOH!! WHO'S THE MAN!? "AXEL!" The redhead winced but laughed, elbowing Dem. "See, even auntie Sera thinks so~~"
Riku smiled as he nodded. The night air was cold, crisping their skin. Seeing that they were boys, they didn't think about bringing jackets or hoodies. Oh well. The silverette looked down at his friend as they walked away from the theater. "I guess not." He spat his tongue out and laughed. It was just a bit weird that the roles were pretty opposite.
"Alright." He stopped and looked at the time. They had two hours left before their curfew. "So, what do you feel like eating? Pizza, hamburgers, Chinese, Japanese...?"
Well, it ended up being Japanese. It really wasn't the best place for two kids to go... seeing that the place was pretty fancy to the boys surprised. It seemed like they were on a date more than a get together. Their table was lit with a light lamp and the place was dark with an evening feel to it.
It was a bit... awkward.
Riku took the cup of green tea and sipped at it while Sora was still going on about the movie. He placed down the cup and looked at Sora's meal as it was placed down in front of him. He got something called Oyakodon while he just got a basic lunch box. He licked his lips before smiling. "Can I have a bite?"
Not much business. It was good and bad at the same time. They barely made the rent with the profits this week. Her father had it all under control seeing that he had other businesses... but Aerith wanted this place to support itself one day.
The sound of shoes could be heard on the wooden floor as a woman walked up to the counter. Five minutes until closing. She looked over, seeing the drawing of a dog. No... She smiled as she shook her head. "You really love wolves huh? What do you like about them?"
The bathroom was empty seeing that the store was closing in a half hour. At the last stall, a hand popped out and a finger moved in a louring way. It caught the black haired man's attention and when Zack grew close enough, the blonde grabbed him and pulled him in. The stall door closed and Zack was pressed up against it as the blonde leaned in.
"So, I filled out the application and talked to the manager. He said they might have an opening as a cashier." The blonde purred as he ran his hands down the other's abs. His hands got further before they ran over a mound of some sort. Ven's eyes sparked as he looked up into the other's. "Hehehehe, you were thinking about me?"
He slowly slid down until his knees hit the cement as he was face to face with Zack's zipper. The belt was untied, the pants unbuttoned and unzipped. Smaller hands reached in, pulling and tugging on things until he found what he wanted. They should of been heading to Aerith's shop now... but that fucker could wait. His soft lips reached up, kissing the hardened member softly before Ven looked up at the other, darkness in his eyes before a tongue ran over the bottom of the shaft.
His fingers ran over the head as he lathered the shaft sensually.
Oh... this was another thing his father wasn't aware of...

Roxas was still forwning down at his flute when he heard the door opening. From the heavy footsteps and the way the multitude of keys jangled he knew it was dad. Kind of funny, actually, how he was able to tell family members apart from simple things like that. Just like he could tell their moods apart from certain ways they acted... like he always knew when Ven was in a good mood (they were rare so you really had to LOOK), or when Sora was mad (which also was rare), or when mom felt underappreciated or dad felt stressed.
He wondered, oddly, if he would ever find a life partner that he could... understand so well.
He looked up when his dad came into the kitchen, lowering his flute so it laid in his lap. He fiddled with the mouthpiece nervously, before blushing a little."Y-Yeah... Hayner told me she uh likes me. You know LIKES likes me."
He bit his lip, and finally voiced something that had been bothering him since his blonde friend's admission. "Uh dad...?" He looked up at him, knowing he was the one person who could give him the right advice. "How do you um... ask out a girl?" He couldn't help but feel very incapable at the moment. He bet RIKU didn't ask anyone when he started to go out with Kairi (damn suave bastard!)
Demyx scoffed, taking the bowl. He looked at it uneasily - god what his parents would do to him if they found out - before lifting the bowl to his lips, and breathing in the toxic drug.
The thing was he rejected cigarettes or alcohol because both, in the long run, where much more unhealthy than marijuana. After all it was used as a MEDICINAL herb most of the time - no shame in that, right?
So maybe the kids 'methods' of medicinal uses were a little out of whack, but hey, it helped! With stress which was, was... mentally harming!
Dear Shiva please don't kill the harmless sitarist.
He burst into laughter as Axel got told off - half of it already induced. "Dude, you suck." He said shaking his head, even IF Axel had just won.
Sora tilted his head at Riku's question, thinking it over. He was in the mood for something exotic. "Japanese I suppose!"
Exotic was something he got. It made him blush as they stepped into the dimly lit resturant which was no doubt meant to be 'romantic', the smell of food propminent as well as the japanese spices and sake.
He shrugged at Riku, not willing to look like a fool and leave, and quickly asked for a table for two. Together they were lead by a pretty japanese woman (authentic all the way eh?), took their drink and food orders and waited.
When they did get their food, Sora snapped apart his chopsticks determinedly, even though silverware was also laid out for them. When he was twelve, he had forced himself to learn how to use them, and refused to use any silverware whatsoever for nearly a whole seven months, unless of course it was finger food. It had been a struggle at first - especially at lunch where he drove his friends insane as he dropped more then he ate. But he learned and was mighty proud of himself.
He still ate rice and other japanese-themed foods of all kinds with chopsticks if they were handy.
He looked up at Riku and nodded, pushing the plate over a little so the silverette could gain access to it easier. "Only if you share too poison-tester!" He teased playfully, but Riku only chuckled and pushed his food over two, both of them carefully testing each others choice. "Mmm, not bad."
Eventually they gave eachother back their own plates, happily chowing down. After a few minutes, sora glanced around, seeing some people at other tables were sneaking glances at him and Riku and whispering softly to their dinnermates. His cheeks darkened immensely, knowing EXACTLY what they were thinking.
"You know, it's weird... if two girls go out to dinner or lunch together they're thought of as friends - but if two guys do it it's like a big scandal. Same with dancing." Sora softly murmured in a kind, understanding sort of way. "Gender discriminations are kinda sad you know - cause guys can't accept flowers from girls or anything unless they're hurt but I think it would be kinda cute if like, Kairi gave you flowers and chocolate for one of your dates instead of the other way around. Tch, girls are so lucky to be so pampered."
Terra lookedup as Aerith came near, then looked at his drawing, shrugging a bit. "They're... I dunno. They're rare." He started - it was a well known fact that wolves were close to being on the extinction list, like cheetahs and polar bears. They were poached often for their coats or because they threatened lifestock - and disgustingly for sport.
"But they're strong and... companionable. They work together to provide for each other and try not to leave anyone behind. And they don't even have to be related to act like family - sort of a uh unconditional love and friendliness? And they mate for life..."
He blushed, embaressed he said so much - but Aerith had this way of just, smiling and showing that she understood and it was never hard for him to feel comfortable just speaking his mind. Telling her things he never told his brother or Ven or Aqua.
The brunette looked around, as if afraid of prying eyes. "You know what my dream job is?" He smiled mysteriously. "I want to open up a wolf reservation - like own a whole countryside that protects them from poachers and stuff."
Zack's eyebrows raised, seeing the hand - and recognized it instantly. He slipped inside, grinning and went towards the stall. To his slight surprise, he was tugged inside, the door thrown shut and locked behind him. suddenly he was against the cold wood, staring deep into lustful blue eyes.
"Mmm is that So-unnn!" Zack's lips twitched as he felt the wandering hands and his eyelids lowered. He grinned, breathlessly murmuring, "Only you baby~"
He watched the other drop to his knees, getting harder just from watching the action and was unable to hold back a soft yearning groan as he felt the hands urgently tugged at his clothes. There was a sharp intake of air as he felt the fingers find what they wanted, and he leaned a bit more against the door, his blue eyes intent.
The kiss made his fingers curl, but the lick made his toes curl and the experienced hands caused him to gasp out. "Shiiiiit." Ven was getting rather talented at this! He was proud to say he taught him everything he knew.
