Everyone pouted or cheered when the bell rang and like that, the herd of preteens and young adults headed for class. "Welp, guess it's starting." The silverette smiled before putting his schedule in his bag and slowly leaned down, kissing Kairi on the lips sweetly. He turned but stopped, looking over his shoulder. "See you at lunch!"
Everyone went to their rooms, all finding a place to sit and remembering the faces that they had all seen last year. A-D Sophomore consisted of: Seifer Almasy and many others. E-J Sophomore consisted of: Sora Holani Ventus Holani Roxas Holani Fujin Fairholm Raijin Fairholm Olette Izaro and many others. R-Z Sophomores consisted of: Pence Sasa and many others.
K-Q Juniors consisted of: Demyx Kevsar Riku Mizushima and many others. R-Z Juniors consisted of: Kairi Tilmitt Larxene Veton Axel Xipil and many others.
and don't forget Seniors.
R-Z Juniors consisted of: Terra Tellis Aqua Umi and many others.
During home room, locker numbers and combination were given and everyone had a change to test them out. They also had to fill out some papers with emergency numbers and all that jazz. Same bullshit, different year.

Sora held back the rising bile in his throat when he saw the kiss, rolling his eyes. Then, two minutes later, he was already repremending himself for acting so rudely.
There were his two best friends in the whole wide world! He should be happy that they were happy!
Why was that so hard for him...?
He waved to Riku, said his good-byes to Kairi and was on his way. By the time he reached his classroom - saffron yellow seats and copper colored desktops (school colors of course) - his brothers were both already there a seat saved to their left.
The brunette came over, smiling. "So whatcha all got?!" A third shcedule was added to the pile as the three searched them over like one would search for treasure. Though none of them were completely happy with their schedules. Ventus and Sora only shared lunch, while Roxas and Ventus only shared band, and Sora and Roxas wouldn't see each other at all - and with their parents expecting them to get JOBS... not to emntion all the things they agreed to do with friends...
Sora could already see it. They would be living in the same house yet feel like they were miles away from one another. None of them would ever really be there for each other anymore... and despite staying back a year to be with Ventus, at this point it was like it didn't even matter.
There was however, something that Ventus and Soran did take notice of - Raijin sending deadly-looking signals Roxas' way, and Fuujin's piercing glare. It looked like Seifer's gang was already all over their little brother. Same bullshit, different year. At least Olette was their to calm down roxas when thigns started to get heated up.
Hayner at least could keep Pence distracted during homeroom, considering his last name is Siair. The two joked around and started making plans on how to 'get Seifer back' for the mean things he did that morning.
Meanwhile, Demyx was playing a sad tune on his sitar, woeing to the classroom how sad of a year he was going to have.
Terra and Aqua? They were taking the chance to catch up on all the things they had missed during the summer.
All students, even the freshman, knew what the first day would be like. Trips to the library to collect books, going over syallabi about the requirements of each class, information about each other shared, seating charts, attendence where names were read aloud (and often incorrectly), possible writing for the english classes ('What did you do over summer?').
The first day was always the easiest. The second was when the real work began.
Roxas walked into band and a brillant smile ran across his face when he heard music wafting from the front of the room. the Band room was large with a stair-like seating arrangement in the center, music stands sitting in front of each stand. Pushed at the back of the walls were cages full of instruments, all locked safely inside. A few cages were empty - signifying the ones that the students would be using the store their instrumwents (if they were spares like Roxas' was).
He walked to the front of the classroom not noticing he was leaving his friends and his brother behind, his footsteps in time with the beats and the fingers of his hands mechnically dancing at his sides, as if he was playing the flute the song was opening with. He heard the harp strumming lightly in the background, the violin accenting then taking the solo...
"I see you recognize it!" Roxas blinked, coming out of his trance, realizing he had traveled all the way from the back of the room to the front without even noticing. His cheeks darkened some and he looked over, seeing a woman with beautiful red hair streaming down her back. She wore a dark purple blouse and flowing skirt in a very interesting green color that flowed out at the bottom like tail fins. "Ah... Yeah, Firebird Suite by Stravinsky, Fantasia's version I believe." The woman chuckled and nodded. "Exactly correct."
Roxas blushed more, this time because he felt like a total geek. He loved music, he studied it like crazy - and the best way to learn was from the master's themseleves. Mozart, Handel, Stravinsky, Bathoveen, Bach... "'Course, I enjoy the finale of Firebird the most. It's much... lighter and more hopeful, like a fairytale ending." He admitted shyily, not used to admitting these sorts of things to teachers. The woman smiled, leaning down some. "What's you name?" "R-Roxas Holani." "Well Roxas, I'm Ariel, and it'll be a pleasure teaching you."
The blonde smiled, before turning and heading to the sloping seats, joining his friends. Hayner snickered nudging Roxas in the side. "Well, look whose got a crush on our new band teacher! Roxas you dog you!" "Shut up I do not!" Roxas hissed back, his face tomato red.
Terra stared silently at the cut of toilet paper he had recently torn off from the roll that had been handed around the class before glancing at the teacher incredulously. "You've got to be kidding me." "No, No go right ahead. Tell us five things about you. One for each square." The teacher, Alice Carroll, was a blonde woman with a ice blue and white dress on that looked like it was back from the 30s and a black ribbon tied up in her hair. She had a very pecular smile on her face.
This psychology class was weird.
Terra sighed, glancing around a shrugging. Five things? "Alright. My name is Terra Tellus. My favorite colors are gold, blue and brown. I live with my brother in an apartment that we're both paying for. I like wolves. And..." He paused, thinking. "I'm gay." He nodded, before balling the five squares up and took careful aim, throwing them in the trash. Score!
"How very curious!" Alice said, before moving on without a word. Weird didn't even begin to describe her.
Demyx was drooling on his desk as the teacher talked about the syllbus, testing policies, late homework, the gracing scale and so on and so forth. Seriously, who liked math enough to want his students to call him the 'Mathenator?' Was that supposed to be a pun off of the terminator, or the calculator? Lame. With a capital L.
This class was going to be no fun at all.
"Alright you will be the host." Jack Dawkins announced, pointing straight at Sora. "Me?" He asked imploringly, looking at his teacher. Mr. Dawkins, A.K.A. the Artful Dodger, was their teacher and he was rather eccentric too. He was wearing nothing but tattered rags, like the ones worn by orphans in poors towns, those that spent their lifes pit-pocketing. Everything from the scruffed and worn shoes to mittens with holes in the fingers. Atop his head was a black top hat, which strangely made the look that more completel.
"Come come! You can not keep your guests waiting!"
Sora chuckled nervously, before getting up in front of the class, trying as hard as he could to pull the smile off his face. After discussing the syallbus, their teacher decided they'd play a little game. A game called 'Emotion Party'. And as the host he had to be completely emotionless until-
"Knock knock!" A chipper voice rang out. "Oh I wonder who that could be." Sora said dully, walking to the 'door' whichw as nothing but air of course, twisting open the knob and letting in a girl who had a slip of paper in her hand. "O. M. G! Look at this house! It's sparkling!" "Oh I KNOW!!" Sora said, his voice rising several octaves that it nearly squeaked. Several of the student not part of the game chuckled. "I cleaned for hours just to make it perfect!"
"Knock, knock." Came a male voice. "Oh the door!" Sora skipped to the air door, making the student chuckle again as he opened it. The boy on the other end had a sour look on his face and his arms crossed. He strutted inside, looked around then went to their teachers desk and starting picking stuff up and putting it down noisiely as if he was looking for something. "Oh a treasure hunt!!" The girl chirped. "Where are the F-EN PEANUTS?!" Sora snorted before stomping over. "I don't f-en know! Whose the IDIOT who planned this anyways?!" "You are IDIOT!" The girl snapped, mock-slapping Sora. "Knock... sniffle...knock." A third voice said.
And that's how the game went. the guests started to 'catch' each other emotions, until it turned into a small crowd of students all jealous of each other.
Sora loved his first period already.

Pence chuckled as he looked over. It was a good thing that Hayner was all in the way in back with the pit or he knew that Roxas would of slugged him one! He sat down and pulled up his larger case. He didn't understand why the trumpets were behind the flutes... no one could hear the winds over the brass! He shook his head though and pulled out his shiny instrument before putting it together. He smiled as he moved his fingers on the three keys. Ah, it was nice to be back---
"MOVE IT!" The sound of a woman's voice boomed over the other kids as they got in tune. He knew exactly who that was...
A blonde haired girl walked over, pushing Roxas from his chair. "What are you doing in MY seat, brat?" He spat as she sat down. Roxas had mistakenly sat down on the 'first' chair. Even of Roxas loved music... he wasn't first flutist. No. A big bitch was. Larxene Veton. She sat down and huffed, pulling her case open and pulling out a beautiful, golden plated flute.
She sent a cold glare at the blonde by before chuckling. "You'll never get first if you keep forgetting your instrument." She grinned as she started to put her flute together. "When when I'm gone, you'll still be using that spare of yours~"
Not long after, another blonde walked into the band room, his eyes dark from not wanting to even be here. Sure he liked band... but just being in school was a bummer. He couldn't wait to get out and start college... the freedom! He held a case unlike any other in the band. A violin case. He was the only student who played violin seeing that their middle school had it and the other high school had it as well.... but Hollow Bastion high didn't have it. You would think that a bigger, better school that had SO many different courses would have violin.
Well it didn't and it actually cost to get violin sheets. Ventus smiled and said that he couldn't play anymore because he didn't have a job to pay for the scores... but his parents smiled back and handed over the money.
So he was stuck here. It wasn't like he was bad at playing... he was actually very talented... but he HATED practicing! It took too much time out of his schedule... especially when he wanted to see Zack instead.
He looked over, seeing the red face of his brother and Larxene. He rolled his eyes before he walked over to his corner where a tall stand was waiting for him. He hoped this new teacher was better than their last slave driver...
"HEY!" Another female voice interrupted and green eyes looked up at the brunette. "Don't be mean to him. He has the right to make mistakes sometime. It's not like you're always perfect, Larxene." Olette crossed her arms, which was a bit hard seeing that she was holding onto the handle of her clarinet case. The blonde girl just huffed and wiped her flute down. "Well, don't get your panties in a bunch cause your boyfriend is blind."
Olette face grew red at the remark as she looked away. "You're so mean..." She shook her head and walked onto the opposite side of the steps, sitting down in her respected chair.
The silverette sighed as he leaned over his desk. Health for first class... this was going to be horrible. He was sure he was going to fall asleep. Who even THOUGHT about giving health as a first period. He was stuck in the smack center of the class to... so there was no way he could get a short snooze in. He kind of wished that his surname was much later in the alphabet.
At least he had Kairi in his next class, and Sora at lunch and PE. He hated it last year when Sora didn't get the same lunch, meaning he had a different PE too... and it was really no fun playing sports without your best friend with you!
This class was boring with a capital 'B'. That was a pun for English class. When the redhead signed up for this class, he really didn't know what it was about, just liked the name of it.
Well... what a mistake this was. It was writing and things from the natives of the area. WHO CARES!? It was so boring and... too naturey for him. Sure... he liked his nature but THIS.... this was too much.
He sighed, tapping his pen on his paper as the old teacher talked about what they would be going through throughout the year... and it just seemed to get more and more boring. At least Axel's eyes widened when he heard that they were going to be the class with one of the most field trips... but it was to natural sites and such. Oh well, as long as he was outta school, that was cool!

Hayner just laughed at the expression on his friends face, walking towards where the drums would be in this little orchestra - yet he didn't get ten feet before his friend already wound himself into another mess of trouble.
By the biggest bitch in the whole school too. Roxas was just having one of his 'lucky' days. It didn't really help matters either that despite being one whole year older then the sopomore class, he was still as short as a freshmen (and occasionally scoffed at like one). So, everyone tried to take advantage of the short blonde - it didn't ever work, but they tried.
Hayner was about to step in - his eyes finding Ventus and feeling somewhat scandilized that the blonde didn't do a to help his own flesh and blood out (seriously, where was familial loyalty?!) - but Olette, the ever-often peacekeeper - stepped in first.
Roxas yelped in surprise as he was pushed out of the chair, unprepared for the abrupt landing, and winced when his already sore spine made contact with the floor. He blinked away stairs, only to look up and scowl. He, however, couldn;t stop his cheeks from reddening in shame or his stomach twisting with an unknwon anxiousness. He hated Larxene so much, but he hated himself more... for not being good enough to be in first seat.
Being the low self-esteem kind of guy he was, sometimes he couldn't help but wonder if the female's words had a bit of truty to them.
Roxas didn't say anything when Olette came to his rescue - though he was embaressed about THAT too - and once he stood and brushed himself off. He was seconds away from considering decking Larxene - when he saw Ariel out of the corner of his eye. she had seen the whole thing but she was remaining quiet - watching him.
His cheeks flushed for a whole other reason, and slowly he picked up his flute case. To everyones shock shock, when he opened his mouth it wasn't to give a biting remark or a taunt it was... "I'm sorry." Then he turned and walked off to another seat in the flute sections, making sure to create as much distance between him and her as possible. Which wasn;t much, but it was something.
Hayner was gaping in shock, a drumstick falling from his fingers. did Roxas... JUST APOLOGIZE?!
The rest of band class seemed to speed by. Each student introduced themseleves, told everyone how long they'd been playing, if they could play any other instuments and then, to show of their skills, did a quick few chords of a piece from their favorite music.
Hayner just drummed somehting like he was on the drumline not in band - but Ariel said it was creative. Roxas played the famous chords of Moonlight Sonata by Beethoven, and his cheeks were flushed red when Ariel told him she liked it when students played songs with different mediums - in this case substituing the piano with a flute.
All in all, class wasn't bad - and the minute they were let free, the students were rushing out the door except: "Larxene!" Ariel called, and with an unhappy look, motioned for the tall woman to come over. It looked like not fighting back had paid off afterall.
Roxas couldn't hide his grin as he and his troop of friends hurried out the door. "I still can't believe you didn't deck her!" Hayner was saying as they made their way back to their lockers. "All in good time bro." Roxas said, a mysterious smirk on his face. He'd make sure he'd knock Larxene down a few pegs by the end of this year.
The four friends were talking amicably as they headed down the halls, before the warning bell rang and they all split from one another each going towards there own classrooms at a quick pace.
Roxas was just fishing out his schedule as he dashed down the halls, reading the building and room number he would have to find before second bell when - in all his LUCK - he smacked into someone who was rushing just like him.
"Oof!" Roxas grunted, having slid a bit farther because he had been the slighter of the two. He blinked dazedly up at the ceiling lights, his back giving him a nasty reminder of just how badly it was brusing. Suddenly though, red as in his vision, as well as greenand for a short, terrifing moment, he was afraid he had run into his band teacher - god how humilating! - but as his vision cleared he noticed the sharper angles to the face, the forest green of the eyes, and the spikes in the red hair.
And yes, a very flat chest.
Sora was already making it to his class - having seen Kairi on his way and stopping to exchange pleasantries even though he could tell from the look on her face she wished that it was riku who could cross paths to second period.
He threw it out his mind however as he opened the door, a wide smile on his face. Creative Writing! There was no better english class in the world then this!

Olette's and Pence's eyes went wide as they saw Roxas just... swallow it. Pence was shocked from the same reason as Hayner... but Olette... she was shocked at how noble Roxas had been. She smiled, her blush becoming more bright. He had done the right thing... and that made him much more stronger in the fight to just be able to do that.
It made her heart pound even.
She had a hard time introducing herself when the teacher called on her. She stood and introduced herself. She had been playing the clarinet since she was five but didn't wish to try and get first chair because she didn't want to make music feel like a competition. She then played a bit of 32 Etudes by C. Rose and took her place.
Next was Pence who introduced himself. He had been playing for only three years and that he just liked the sound of the trumpet. He humored the class by playing Three Blind Mice really badly and had the whole room laughing in an uproar.
It went on until they reached another blonde... who seemed to be spacing out. The teacher had to call his name a few times, making some kids laugh and some get pissed off. "VENTUS!" "Huh!?" The violinist blinked as he snapped out of it, picking up his wooden piece of art that was only butchered by heavy metal band stickers.
He blushed a bit, knowing that his head was in the clouds, hence him not knowing Roxas was in trouble. He introduced himself and said he didn't know how long he had been playing.... and murmured that it was too long anyway. He gave a sample of Bach: Brandenburg Concerto No. 4: 1st Movement which made everyone look his way.
Going to each student passed the time quickly and it was nice that not all the kids played the same thing. The freshmen were a bit off, making some of the other students wince.
When the class was done, Ven sat down to put his violin in his case and pulled out his schedule. Great... English. He sighed as he stood and looked around, seeing that most of the kids were already gone and that included Roxas too. He frowned as he quickly put his violin away and happy that he didn't have to carry it everywhere! He was hoping he could just keep it here... and that the new teacher didn't make him bring it home to practice.
She seemed too busy to say anything though since she was talking to a frustrated looking Larxene.
Pence nodded. "Yea... I mean... even if it's not a nice thing to do, I don't think I would of even said 'sorry'. I mean... It wasn't even you fault!" Olette smiled as she shook her head. "I'm really proud of Roxas." The boys blinked and looked at her. "What?" She blushed and continued walking. "She still got what she deserves... and a gentlemen doesn't hit girls. I think what he did was the right thing... and that it made him look better for not giving into the fight."
The bell suddenly rung and she blinked. "Well, see you later!" She smiled before waving to the boys and rushed off.
Pence grinned and rubbed his neck as he looked at Hayner. Looked like Olette was trying a little harder this year. "Yea, see you later Rox!" He called as he headed off.
Books were shoved into a backpack after the homework assignment was given. It was true... Junior year was gonna be a bitch. Homework already! He sighed as he stood and walked out of the class. He reached into his back pocket and looked at his schedule. "Hmm..." The redhead pouted as he saw what was next.
Philosophy: The Big Questions
UGH! THIS SOUNDED EVEN MORE BORING! He was going to die.
As he was thinking about his early death, he suddenly was bumped into. "ACK!" His schedule went flying and quickly trumped over by the students walking by. That was alright though... because he was worried about the one who slammed into him. Sure Axel wasn't a solid guy but for someone as short as a.... um... oh god... freshmen, no wonder he landed on the floor. "H-hey! Are you alright?" He leaned over the freshmen and blinked, seeing that the blonde had quite a fall.
He held out his hand and smiled. "Heh, guess we should pay more attention, huh?"
A small student sighed as he finally got his locker opened and pushed his new book inside. Man... what was next? Before he could even focus on his schedule, his eyes caught something blue coming down the hallway.
He blinked, not believing his eyes... as he saw the most beautiful girl... EVER. His mouth gaped a bit as his schedule fell. He couldn't stop staring as she walked down the hall in his direction. But before he could daydream any more... he noticed someone VERY familiar walking next to her. "AH!" He cried and looked around, jumping into the closest class and peaking over.
His cousin was walking with the girl... but from the looks on their face and their body language, his cousin didn't have his beauty... but his big ears DID pick up her name as his cousin spoke it. His eyes seemed to brighten as his world seemed to spin. "♥Aqua~~~~♥"
Ventus sighed as walked through the halls and up the stairs to his English class. He walked in and looked around, seeing that they already had names on the desk to show them where they had to go. He walked to the back of the class, seeing that the rows went down instead of across. He smiled as he took the BACK seat. This was pretty awesome.
He looked around, seeing that the room was slowly being filled and that the teacher was still missing. From what it read on the plaque over the teacher's desk, his name was Mr. Owl. .....Wasn't that the name of the owl that was in the tootsie pop commercials? Oh boy.
He shook his head as he reached into a secret pocket in his backpack and pulled out his red cellphone. He hid it from view over his lap and slightly under his desk. He started to type a text message and smiled.

If their parents and Sora had been here to hear Ventus and Roxas, they would of been pelased. Then again it was nothing they hadn't done before. Like Ven said, they didn't know how long they had been playing just that they had been for a long time.
If Roxas had to guess, he'd say they'd been born with their instuments in their hands, and were practicing their arpeggios by year one.
Roxas blinked at the proffered hand, and sighed some, taking it hesitantly. With the other's help he got to his feet. Then he looked up... and UP at the redhead. You'd think willing holding himself back a year would help him in the height department.
No such luck. He had a lot of that, sadly.
Roxas shifted on his feet. "Yeah... S-Sorry." He stuttered, knowing that it must be a senior he had unfortunetly smacked into. Ugh, what was it? 'Worst first day of school for Roxas'?
He didn't understand why he was so nervous though. He neer cared when Larxene growled at him, or any of the other upperclassmen. Maybe it was just the major height different. Had to be at least two feet.
The blonde bent over, snatching up his schedule - and spotted the others, taking it as well. His eyes, however, caught the name and something else thrilling.
Axel Xipil. Grade: 11
That meant they were in the same age!
Feeling much more certain and calm he straightened and held out the other's schedule towards him, giving him a curious look over and wodnering why held never seen him before. Sure he didn-t expect to know everyone in the grade that used to be his own - but how could he miss someone like this?
Thin and tall, with long a lanky legs like a runner's, and fingers too that made him think of an expert pianist. A face with sharp features and purple teardrop tattoos (oh, so that meant he was already 17). And the hair... the hair had the apperance that it used to be straight until the owner put layers of it in a paper shredder and called it a hair style. And it was unnaturally red - so much so that Roxas would of called it dyed had he not had the eyebrows to match.
'Course the real proof was in the pants. He had some trouble with that too, since most didn't believe his hair was naturally blonde either.
Suddenly, Roxas noticing he wasn't the only one staring and he looked away. "Well uh better get to class huh?" He hurried past the other. "See you around." He called before he was racing down the hall, the late bell ringing in his footsteps wake.
"Come on Aqua!" Terra said, his voice challengeing as he pushed the woman's shoulder. "I raise you a dollar!" Aqua laughed cruelly. "Alright, if Zack doesn't get a text by lunch, then i'll five you five bucks. But come on Ter, he's Venny's completely lovesick." Looking scandalized by the very thought, the brunette growled and looked away. Why did he get to be the lucky guy with a bisexual older brother with his crishes heart? "He is NOT!"
Aqua punched him in the shoulder, smiling empathetically. She;d know about Terra's poor crush for AGES. "Ah, don't worry one day they might break up and then you'll get your bunnies and rainbows." "I don't want no fucking bunnies and rainbows!!" "Yeah and I'm not actually a woman." Terra seemed to pause at that, scruntizing her body closely up and down, especially her chest. "Well..." Aqua's jaw dropped and she made a noise of indiginition. "You bastard!" She slapped him. "Ow!" Terra said, but with his mind taken awya from more depressing thoughts he found it easier to laugh at her.
In the class poor Xigbar had stumbled into, they all heard the boy's loving call - and many of the broadcasting students burst into laughter. The teacher sighed and cleared his throat. "Should I even bother to ask?"
Sora glanced around the class, seeing the walls done in bright colors and he hurried to take a seat behind a couple - a short-haired blonde and a long black haired girl who were talking about.. daggers?
The teacher, as soon as the bell rang, started to hand out the syllabus. She had on a blue dress and her hair was done in an old-fashioned curly style, a blue bow in her hair to match her dress. "Welcome to creative writing. I'm Wendy Pan."
Zack yawned, glad Spanish was over, as he opened a bag of chips - nothing like a nutritious breakfast to continue the day! - when suddenly he felt soemthing in his pocket vibrate. He blinked, fishing out his cellhpone - he and Terra agreed to forgo having a landline and just kept their cellphones as their means of communications. It was safer that way, in case anything happened.
He stuffed a mouthful of barbaque flavored MSG into his mouth as he flipped open the phone. One New Message From: Ven
He clicked the 'Read' button, and then smiled affectionately at the note that had been sent via airwaves. One-handedly he wrote a reply.
[To] Ven 090-756-3345 [Time] 10:05
I love you more @~'~
He chuckled, sending it.

Axel blinked and cocked his head as he saw how embarrassed the younger was. Yep, definitely a freshmen. He blinked though as the other picked up his schedule for him and actually glanced at it. With that, the blonde seemed to be a lot more loose. "O-oh, thanks." He raised his eyebrow as he took it.
His sharp, green eyes looked down into the blue. Seeing that he thought poor Roxas was a freshmen, he had a reason why he wouldn't think that he had seen him before. Fact was, Axel and Demyx came from a different middle school... down in the gallows were the more poor kids grew up.
It was rough growing up down there... and how they made it into Hollow Bastion High School was like a snowball chance in Hell. Demyx always had a hard time passing test or doing homework. At least he was credited for trying. Axel on the other hand had a hard time because of Reno. His older brother was always up to trouble... and when he joined that GANG... it only got worse... because he would put Axel in the middle of it.
Luckily Reno cleaned up, passed high school and this year went off to college to major in criminal justice. Axel and Demyx had to study extra hard to get into Hollow Bastion... and the work paid off.... though when it came to the kids, the two friends still stuck close together.
He shook his head but blinked as he heard the other call. "Oh... yea! See ya!" He waved before scratching his head. He yelped as he heard the late bell though and thankfully he as given long legs for a reason! He shot down the stairs and into the next class.
He smiled as the other kids looked up at him, and his teacher as well. His teacher actually reminded him of Demyx's parents... as in he must of been Hindu as well due to the clothes he was wearing. "Thank you for joining us." The man said with a soft smile. "How about you take your seat." It was hard to sneak away when you were as tall as a god damn tree. "I'll repeat my last sentence again so that everyone can hear it now. 'Hello class, I am Mr. Ababwa.'"
The freshmen blinked when he heard the laughter and looked back. His face brightened in redness as he was all the kids in the room he had just jumped into. It was definitely an upperclassmen room. He swallowed and quickly rushed out, just to see his cousin and this ♥Aqua♥ girl turning the corner. He was about to follow when all of a sudden another bell rang... and kids were rushing pass him.
He looked around, not even knowing what that was. OH WAIT! The late bell. Oh NO! He didn't even know where his next class was! He looked down at his paper. Science 101. He looked at the room number and then at the room he was in a second ago. Ut uh.... he was.... pretty far away.
The silvertte pulled out his notebook and pen as the late bell rang. He looked up, smiling as the woman walked in and looked out over the class. "Good morning everyone. I hope you all like music because it seemed to be the thing that makes the world go 'round." She cupped her hand as she whispered. "Don't tell you're science teacher."
She walked to the board and took the chalk. With it, she wrote her name in a beautiful cursive and smiled. "My name is Miss. Poppins."
Ven looked around the room until he felt his phone vibrate in his hand. He looked down and quickly pressed 'Read'. He bit his lip and blushed a bit before hitting 'Reply'.

Roxas sighed as he got to his world history class - a little late. He blinked as everyone turned to stare at him and coughed uncomfortably.
"Ventus?" The question was asked the the blonde glanced over seeing who must of been his teacher. He was a short man with an explorer's getup on - even the beige round hat! - and a big white mustache. Oh that was right, this was the same class his brother had last year.
Heh, he musta made quite an impression if the teacher - Mr. Porter - still remembered him.
"No, I'm his twin, Roxas." The boy explained, turning some heads in the class. There were STILL people today who didn;t know he was a twin. "Sorry about being late." "Oh pish-posh not a problem at all my boy! Now just take a seat!" The man said in a heavy british accent and Ven's look-alike was quick to do just so. "Now my name is Professor Archimedes Q. Porter. My daughter as many of you might know, Jane, is also a teacher here in the anthropology department." The history teacher said. "I used to be a science teacher here, but they reassigned me after I blew up the lab!"
Speaking of labs Demyx was already in his biology class, crouched as low in his seat as possible. Why did he have to get a SCARY teacher! His name was something like Mr. Hojo...
He kept his eyes down in his desk and kept praying for the class to be over, shuddering all over when the other mentioned dissecting. Oh god he was pretty sure he was gonna cry!
"Now class," Mrs. Wendy Pan said after doing roll (revealing to Sora that the couple talking of daggers was Zidane Tribal and Garnet Alexandria) and explaining the class structure, before going to a cupboard in the back of the class. "Because this is a creative writing class you will all need a notebook. I will be supplying the first one if you need another during the year however it will have to be bought on your own."
She started to hand out notebooks to each student. Sora noticed, ironically, Garnet got a red one. Zidane got beige. He took his own - a pretty silver - setting it in front of him.
Wendy went about the steps of labeling the inside flap telling them to put their name, period and then think of a title. It could be anything from 'My Diary' to 'Memoirs of a Student' Writing in gold pen, Sora fingers his necklace before smiling and placing down: The Crown Tales
"Put the number one in the right hand corner of the page just like you would in MLA then continue going up with every page you write up on from there. When you need a new notebook, don't continue on number one, go on from where you left off." Wendy explained. "Now here is your first assignement. Behind this projector screen is one word. You will read the word and then write whatever comes to mind. Be creative. You'll be timed so when I tell you to stop - even if you didn't finish your sentence, stop. Don't worry about grammar or spelling - to a true writer all those rules can be broken."
She tugged the screen and it rolled up loudly, revealing a word in blue marker: Wildflower "Begin!"
Zack licked his fingers as he - being the pig he was - easily finished off the bag before his phone vibrated a second time. when it did, he snatched it up, reading his next message.

Axel swallowed as he pulled out his notepad and pen and started to write some stuff that was already on the board. "Now class, there's a whole new world out there that is yet to be discovered. There are things right before your eyes that will open a door to a new world. I hope I can help you find this door through our studies and observations of the vast keyholes of illusions."
Axel blinked. Ugh.... another crazy class... He spent his whole SUMMER trying to get into this school!? He was wondering if Demyx was having any better luck.
Miss Poppins smiled as she walked to the front of her desk again. "Now, I just want to clear homework right now and what is to be expected of you. Mondays and Thursdays will be the only day you'll have homework. Now, every Monday and Thursday I'll give you a CD and when you get home, you will notice that the CD will have a variety of music on it. I will assign you one song per session and you can ONLY listen to that song. I then want you to close your eyes and paint a picture in your head. It can be anything at all."
She started to walk down the rows and continued. "When you're done, you'll need to write what you saw and what actions happened at what part of the song. Bring this to class and we'll discuss it as a whole." She looked around and smiled. "Even if you're not fond of the type of music, I want you to write the best you can and continue to listen to the song until you can see something in your mind."
The blonde chuckled as he nodded. Yea, he could definitely slug Terra... no problem. He still needed to get him for messing up his clothes. His mother was going to KILL him. He hit reply and started to type faster now that the bell had rung.

K! Will meet u @ pick up! Love you 2!
He hit 'Send' and before he could put his cell phone away, he felt a shadow hover over him. He swallowed and slowly looked up, seeing a rather round man looking down at him through very old glasses. He had bushy eyebrows with an interesting mustache. "You must be Ventus Holani. I heard you are quite a handful." He coughed and held out is hand. "Your gadget please."
Ven's mouth dropped as he looked down at his cellphone. Shit... He sighed, plopping it into his teacher's palm. The old man put it into his pocket and slowly walked away. "You're lucky that I forgot my reading glasses or I would of started the class with your little excerpt." The kids around giggled as an embarrassed blush ran over his face. Fuck... why can't I be in college with Zack... this is such bullshit....
"You can pick up your gadget after school at the principal's office." Fuckity, fuck, FUCK! "Anyway, good morning class. I'll be your English teacher this year. My name is Mr. Owl but feel free just to call me Owl."

It didn't seem like his history teacher was too concerned with talking about the class - Roxas quickly noted. However, Professor Porter, had the whole class raptured in a story of going with his daugher, Jane, to the wildiness when they were much younger. A deserted island that was like paradise.
The story was completely fiction after that. Ha, like their was really an ape-man named Tarzan there.
Demyx... was not have any better luck. He was wondering if he could say this class went against his religion and get into a new one.
Yeah, yeah right. Maybe if he had a Hindi conseler.
He groaned, trying to stomach the lecture. Did... did he say... CATS?!
Demyx whimpered, putting his head on the table.
Sora bit on the cap of his pen as gold words filled out the page, his mind racing with ideas that only half made sense to him ebcause he knew he didn't have a lot of time. He nearly went back to correct a comma then decided against it and-
"Times up!" Everyone froze, then many sighed. Zidane, glanced back at the clock whined. "Two minutes?" Sora couldn't help but see, in bright red (or was it Garnet) letters the front flap of his note book said Tetra Tail Tricks. "Yep. Two minutes. Every time we do this exercise though, don't expect the time to be the same." Wendy said cheerfully. "Writing under pressure can get you to write thing you normally would not if you thought clearly about it. Even if it's not really long, don't worry about it! In writing, I will give none of you any boundaries you are all free to "
She turned and looked around her students - a good thirty-one - and smiled cheerfully. "So, who would like to read theirs." No hands raised. She waited almost a full minute before chuckling. "New question who is shy about reading theirs?" Everyone raised their hands, even Sora. "No surprise. Writers are most critical of their own work, so we always think what we've written is terrible and others will think the same. But we aren't here to judge. We are here to grow as writers and we can only do so with the opinion of other's. So... who would like the share? And also, share your title. "
A pause, then Garnet raised a tentative hand. With a nod from the teacher, the woman stood and looked at her notebook. "I named my book Dagger's Secrets. Here's what I wrote: Wildflower. In the field there it is, A little wildflower all alone, But a man comes along, He takes the flower that has grown. The flower sees more then it ever has, Down roads of cobblestone and houses of sand, Until it reaches a small little home Where there it is given to a girl's hand."
Garnet blushed, quickly sitting down. "That's all I wrote." "A poem." The woman said, smiling. "It's very cute." "I like it!" Zidane chriped, glaring around the room to dare anyone to hurt his girlfriend's feelings. "Why 'houses of sand?'" Another girl in class asked. Garnet shrugged, blushing. "I needed something to rhyme... and cause I think sand represents time." Wendy nodded. no other questions were asked - poetry had always been hard to respond too. "Alright, anyone else want to read."
Garnet nundged her boyfriend, but Zidane shook his head quickly. Sora blinked and lifted his hand slowly. He laughed softly as he was called on and stood.
The brunette shifted, highly uncomfortably as eyes came to him. He chuckled nervously. "Uhhh... Well uh I named my book The Crown Tales." Some of the class who knew the amicable boy well, chuckled becuase they knew they knew of the pendant that he never took off.
Sora looked down at his notebook, concentrating on it like it was the Bible. "Wildflower. That's was the first thing he thought when he saw the other. While the other 'flowers' of kids clustered together in their groups, fitting in with the tame petunias, the delicate roses, the laid-back posies this flower - unlike any other in the universe - stood alone on the field and stared at the sky, counting invisible stars and speaking of nothing but space and other worlds. If he really was a flower, he would look like no other. The petals would be vibrant and blue but outlined in a fine shine of silver more perfect then any piece of jewelry. The stem would be a careful green - as if it was not certain of it's true color. It would have no thorns like a nasty rose but it would be full of leaves - colors the same as its petals like it was trying to hide it's unmatching stem. If it had a name it would be called Blue Comet - in honor of the boy who stared not at the ground where the lifes of the sheltered hid, but at the sky where the lives of the free roamed. But one day... that wildflower - so different and invisible to the garden flowers - would not be alone. One day, a seed will land nearby and grow and... became a friend."
Sora paused, glanced down at his writing then his cheeks darkened just a tad at the realiazation of just who he had written about. Riku. And the first time they had met. It had been the first thing that had come to mind! "Uh... that's all."
He sat down quickly blushing darkly.
Zack smiled affectionately, putting his phone away. He got up and strolled back to the food court - time for some real food!

The day went on, each kid waiting to see what the next class and teacher was like... but some kids were more eager about lunch.
It came soon enough though. The bell rang and half of the school poured out into the hallways, making those who had lunch B quite jealous.
Olette smiled as she saw Hayner down the hall and ran over, trying to push through the other kids as nicely as possible. "HAYNER! WAIT UP!" He finally heard her and waited against the lockers for her to catch up. She smiled as she got to his side and they started to walk towards the cafeteria together. "Boy, am I hungry! I feel bad for Pence..." He was always hungry... and he had gotten B lunch this year.
She smiled as they walked down the stairs, her green eyes lighting up as she looked up at her rough friend. "So, how are your classes so far?"
Not too far behind them, another set of friends met up and walked to the cafeteria together. "Man... you're shaking! What happened?" The redhead frowned as he saw his best friend shivering as if he saw something horrible. It was going to take a lot for Axel to convince Demyx to stay in school this year. They had to finish this... then next and they were home free!
They were... legally old enough to drop out but that really wouldn't look good for job resumes. He patted Demyx on the back and smile. "Tell me all about it."
A blonde sighed as his blue eyes looked at the clock and his stomach started to growl. Assholes... why did he have to get Lunch B...? What was worse was that both Terra AND Aqua had A Lunch... so he had to sit with Sora and Riku now... This year couldn't get any worse already...

Hayner trailed down the hall at a fast pace, his stomach rumbling in complaint. Man he was starving! He paused however when he ehard his voice and glanced back, grinning when he spotted his bubbly friend waiting for her to join his side. "Don't worry too much about Pence. We'll figure out something." His eyes sparked mysteriously, already planning ahead of skipping fourth period every once and awhile to give his friend some company.
"Well it's not so bad." Hayner said with a smile as Olette joined his side. "Me and Roxas have two classes together already. How about yours?"
Roxas walked out of his third class, a smile on his face. Mrs. White - her first name was Snow (her parents musta thought it was funny) - was his choir teacher and like Ariel was stunningly beautiful.
But not only that! She had an amazing voice. she sang some familar lullabys for them and then a song she made herself called 'Whistle While you Work'. It was pretty catchy - to the point he was still humming it even now.
He shoved his hands in his pockets as he continued on his way to the cafeteria, and when he got there the lines were already getting rather long. He glanced around - when he spotted someone familar that made him shrink back some. Crap Seifer and his posse had this lunch period. And all together too!
The blonde kept to the shadows of the lunchroom, dodging people quickly to stay out of sight. If he and Hayner and Olette could all effectively avoid them they could keep the others in the dark about having the same lunch for a whole week maybe two.
Speaking of such - "Olette! Hayner!" The two turned, and Roxas dashed across the tiled floor to their sides. "So guess what assholes have our lunch?" "Oh you've got to be kidding." Hayner growled, already knowing. It wasn't like they needed to use names. Roxas merely sighed and nodded.
Demyx's lip quivered and he looked up at Axel. "My math teacher is insane he wants us to call him the Mathenator!!! Like he;s some sort of superhero! My science teacher is talking about dissection - of CATS! And my english teacher is talking about essays! LONG essays!" He grabbed onto Axel and shook him. "I'm not gonna survive Axel!"
He sniffled. "I don't wanna dissect the dead!!"
Terra pushed open the door to the cafteria, Aqua at his side - and it suddenly hit someone on the other side. "Ow! Mother fucker!" A familar someone. Terra walked out the door and looked around it, smirking - seeing Seifer and his little dogs. "Dumbfuck. Who the fuck stands behind a door?" The brunette growled.
Seifer turned rubbing the back of his head - but at the sight of the senior he paled just a little. Last year they had had a run in with one another much like today - actually Seifer had once mistaken Ven for Roxas and he and his buddy Raijin tried to wail on him. Terra had stepped in and beat the shit out of both of them. "Fucking asshole!" Seifer hissed.
Aqua stepped up next to Terra, making the blonde's face pale more. Though she hadn't been there that day (she had been sick) she had been clued in on the story. And, righteously pissed, she had played all sorts of cruel tricks and prank on him and Raijin for days - including defacing their lcokers and making them say 'I love cock.' The bluette smirked. "If you wanna start some Sei, we guarenttee you, we'll finish it."

Olette shrugged but smiled. "I like it so far. I do have Fuu in one of my classes... but she's pretty harmless by herself really. I'm sure she won't start anything because I'm not hotheaded like some other MALES around the place." She teased as they got into the cafeteria. One thing was for sure, they would all have to hurry to lunch for the rest of the year if they didn't want to stand in line for ever.
She looked around and blinked, seeing the blonde with the swirly hair. "Hey, there's Roxas." She pointed out to their friend... who seemed to be coming their way pretty fast. She blinked and frowned at the others. She was going to say something but knew that it would only be a waste of words. Seifer and his gang would always bug them if they shared the same lunch... and poor Roxas was always picked on for his money.
She sighed but smiled softly. "Let's do our best huh?" She looked over, suddenly seeing them... and some seniors as well. "Hey, isn't that Terra?" She asked as she saw the brunette peering over the gang. "Maybe he can keep them in line?"
Axel blinked as he stopped. He looked down at his friend and frowned. "A cat? Is that even legal!?" Axel liked cats mind you. He rubbed his chin and frowned. "HEY!" He raised his finger as his eyes lit up. "Maybe I can pretend to be your shrink and write you a note saying that you're excused from doing this... illegal procedure due to your religious beliefs!" He had been a con artist once.... thanks to Reno.
"Don't worry... I'll figure out something!" He smiled as he patted Demyx on the back again before continuing through the doors. He blinked though, seeing all the kids lined up already. "Hey... this would be a good time too..." He looked over at the doors to the outside and smiled. Grabbing Demyx by his arm, he pulled the blonde through the door and made sure no one had seen them.
He took a breath of fresh air as the door closed behind them, looking out into the small courtyard where the art class went some times to draw. He leaned against the cold outer wall and reached into his pocket, pulling out a metal tin with flames on it and opened it. Inside was a line of cigarettes waiting for him. He picked up one and put the tin back into his pocket before grabbing his lighter.
Before any more words could be spoken, a silverette girl got between the three. Her eyes narrowed though she didn't look at anyone. Her arm wrapped around Seifer's and she gave a strong tug. "Hungry...." She then walked off, dragging Seifer with her and Raijin followed along.
A red eye looked back, watching the seniors as they walked away.

Roxas laughed at the suggestion, shaking his ehad. "Yeah right, he won't do us any favors." Terra wasn't exactly the winner of the 'nice guy of the year' award. In fact he was a downright jackass - made him wonder why Ventus even hung out with him.
The scary thing about him was, even when they wore the same clothes, he could tell him apart from his twin. He was one of the few who could sands their parents and Sora.
Heh, unfortunetly, Seifer couldn't do the same. then again, the bastard didn't care if it was Ven or Roxas he was going after - held even been known to go after sora every now and again all because they were related.
He wondered sometimes if that's why he and Ventus didn't have a very strong brotherly relationship anymore...
"Tch, besides we don't need no senior protecting us. We're men and men protect themseleves!" Hayner said, throwing an arm around Roxas' shoulder and giving him a friendly jab to the stomach. "Ain't that right?"
Roxas elbowed the other in the ribs. "Yeah!"
Demyx's face brightened at red-head's words. "You'd do that for me?!" He could have KISSED Axel! Luckily he didn;t and just follwoed the other to the cafteria, his hammering heart calming down considerably. He could count on Axel to get him out of dissecting those poor kitties!
Thats why when Axel dragged him outside he - despite his rumbling stomach - made no protest and just sat down on a two-foot brick wall, letting the other smoke. It wasn't technically legal on campus or anything but well, it didn't stop most kids. And it definitely didn't stop Axel.
Seifer looked down at Fuujin when she nundged him away. He sent a glare at the duo's way before following her along. "You're lucky ya know?!" Raijin said, making a show of cracking his knuckles before running after his friends.
Aqua and Terra shared a glance before laughing and walking from the cafeteria.

Olette blinked as she watched the two and rolled her eyes. Boy... this never got old. "Well, I need to make sure I don't get into the middle of all this... and you manly men almost got busted again on your first day of school. I don't want my parents finding out or they won't let me hang out with you anymore after school."
She crossed her arms and headed for the nearest line. "And you forgot that I'M not a man." She huffed before looking away but grinned as she hid her face.
Axel smiled as he took another puff. Yea, maybe it would be fun pretending to be a shrink. He might be able to fool some other people into getting things that usually are not available to the public. Hehehehe....
After everyone had eaten and their stomachs were full... and Axel chewed some gum to get his breath spelling better, it was time for Lunch A gym... and Lunch B to begin.
The gym was huge, seeing that half the school had to fit into it and the WHOLE school during rallies. It was also the only time all the grades came together in one place. Around the gym were closed off rooms known as the dressing rooms. There was one for boys and one for girls. The girls had small stalls where they could get dressed behind a curtain... and these stalls were also shower stalls. Lockers lined the wall on the other side and benches allowed them to put on their shoes.
The boy's locker room... was a lot more open. It had no stalls or curtains, just a big open space with shower heads coming from the wall. Lockers and benches were also there to accommodate the little that they had.
No one got changed though seeing that it was the first day... and sports sign-up had to be done. There were 6 PE teachers and 6 different sports one could choose from for 8 weeks.
A redhead sighed as he walked through the door with his blonde friend. "More... lines."
The classes this time were: DODGE BOWL SCRAMBLE SQUARE FOOTBALL SIX BASE KICKBALL BADMINTON VOLLEYBALL FRISBEE FITNESS
Obviously all the freshmen stayed away from dodge ball... which was a good thing because Seniors were oddly attracted to the game. Axel knew that he was going to go for either badminton or Frisbee. He knew the next 8 week sign up would be crazy... because the pool would be open and EVERYONE would want to do the swimming.
Olette smiled as she looked up at the board to see what games would be played. "Oh! I love Volleyball!" She looked over at Hayner and Roxas with a huge smile. "You wanna sign up with me?"
Fuu sighed as she looked at the choices. Wherever Seifer will go, she'll follow.
Behind a blue haired girl stood a freshmen who was hoping that the male next to her wouldn't look back. He had watched her all through lunch and now... he could FINALLY be in the same gym game as her...
