Sora blinked, his eyes widened when Riku took off his coat. He unashamedly looked up and down the other's form, more exploring the clothes then anything but had anyone else been watching they would have said Sora was checking him out. Not like there wasn't a lot to check out...
The shee blinked as the coat was placed voer his shoulders, the long cloth feeling safe and warm in this new strange world. Everything was calm, the sound of night insects moving yet everything else peaceful and calm. In the light... Sora had a feeling this place would be very very beautiful.
He followed the other's guidance and laid down, nestling his ehad on the other's stomach. He laid there quietly and when he felt the reassurances of safety from both Ventus and Roxas... he felt much better. His eyes slowly slid shut and he smiled feeling the other's arm coming around him. "Riku..." He whispered softly. "Thank you..." He murmured, reaching up and placing his hand against Riku's chest, able to feel the ribs underneath his palm. He smiled a bit, and before Riku could ask why he was thanking him the little brunette drifted off the sleep, mentally and physically exhausted. It had been a real long day.
Roxas slumped against the wall, panting as exhasustion creeped over him hius body not used to the high levels of magic he just used. In fact he wasn;t even sure how he had USED it. He just... did what was instinctive... did things he had seen him do in his dreams. Concentrating all his magic and effort into one attack...
And the puppy was the result.
He blinked dazedly as Axel grabbed him, his hands still wet and unharming yet the skin still warm with the inner fire. He was tugged forward and he stumbled through the portal. By the time he reached the next side he fell to his knees, wings draping over him and brushing the ground. He panted tiredly, trying to catch his breath.
Demyx eyes went wide, seeing the puppy as it chased it's tail. He opened and closed his mouth. wow... Axel hadn't been lying when he said they were insanely powerful was he? And... that puppy was actually really cute!
The other two passed him suddenly and he looked up, watching them as they... walekd through a wall of BLACKNESS?! He saw Axel;'s eyes as he looked back at him, a silent approval to come along in his eyes.
He opened and closed his mouth then looked at the portal, somewhat afraid. Suddenly he jumped into action, grabbing up his sitar and his and Roxas' notes piling them into his arms. He doubted the blonde wanted to lose it all! He hurried towards the blackness, not realizing that the soft barking behind him wasn't fading as he got further away from the middle of the room where they had left the puppy.
He hadn't realized that one of the shawls around his waist that he wore had come lose, trailing after him like a bride's train. The puppy, who had seen it, was chasing after it excitedly like it was some sort of toy... and when Demyx walked through the portal... so did the wolf.
Moments later, just as the two were running through the portal, a dark form jumped into the window. The leopard hissed, feeling the strong magic in the air, wafting up his nose and burning his throat. He watched a blonde run through the darkness... a wolf puppy following after.
The scent of wolf was familar and knew it was his companion. Those damn Shee had changed him... yet this time he hadn;t gotten a good look at him. He had seen the red-head and the blonde but not the shee. Why did this one have two guardians?
His ears twitched. It was time to report back with or without his companion. A new portal opened and he walked through appearing back in a castle far far away in a thrown room where Master Xehanort was waiting.
Terra felt Ven heed his offer, and suddenly felt the weight of the blonde atop him. He shifted a bit, getitng used to it before he started to walk, the movements easy under his powerful legs. He had carried heavier things then the petite Shee.
He carefully climbed atop the strip of land and walked, following it all the way to the mainland. Ven atop him seemed to relax more, his body slowly falling into a more restful mode as he allowed Terra to carry him. The walk to the mainland was slow because the rocks were a ltitle slippery from high waves running voer it and the extra weight slowing the beast up some.
But soon they were there the soft cold sand of the ebach slipping inbetween his toes. He turned his body somewhat to look back at the ocean and saw something in the distance jump from the water it;s body curling and a soft roar echoing across the land. It was long and serpent like - a dragon!
He watched silently as it fell back into the water, before looking around. they would have to find shelter for the night. He looked around, seeing a town off in the distance, far enough away so that high tides and tsunamis were less likely to reach it. Then he saw something in the corner of his eye. He glanced towards it, seeing a white building in the moonlight. It was built intricately, close to the water but rised up so high tide wouldn;t reach it. He began walking towards it, seeing engravings and statues of dragons mounted around it - one much like the one that had jsut jumped from the water.
He slowly walked up the steps, seeing the large wooden doors before him. Thankfully he didn't need to ask Ven to open them for one was half-open already and it was easy enough to slip inside. witin the place was dusty and almost abandonned looking. A pool that hadn't been cleaned in awhile was in the middle of the roof, scruffy looking pillows aroud and about the small room. Others doors led other places but all of them were firmly closed and inaccesible for him. He slid the back of his tail against the wooden door and it slid shut behind them, enclosing them inside. More stuatues and pictures and whatnot were inside... a temple. It was definitely a temple. One that seemed to of not been visited in years. No one was inside and he caught no sight of humans scents.
Terra walked slowly over to some of the pillows, nundging them closer together until they made a miniture bed. He laid out on top of them, Ven still on his back and sighed. They were miore comfortable then they looked. "We'll sleep here for the night."

Riku sigh happily as Sora grew more and more comfortable. It seemed like the Shee was completely calm again. That made him happy. He was missing the cheerful boy's voice. He would... love to see the boy's smile.
He opened his eyes as he heard Sora speak.
Thank you...?
"Wh--" He stopped, hearing the calm sound of Sora. He was sleeping. He smiled softly as his hand can up and ran through the younger's hair. It had been a long day... and Riku was actually exited about morning.
He knew Sora would absolutely love this new world.
The puppy stopped and howled sadly. He wasn't able to catch his tail! He whimpered but saw something else.... it was rushing across the floor.
He growled and reared up, shaking his butt before racing after it. His yips were happy and playful and as the cloth went into the portal, the little pup followed.
The man at the thrown yawned as he sat back, his eyes closed in great thought.
When he felt the presence of extra darkness, he opened his golden eyes to see... not two but one of his creatures. The leopard seemed happy though in a way... he must of found something. They had been gone for an awfully long time.
"Where is Saix?"
On a new world, the whoosh of water passed quickly. A large tail beat as a lion fish swam down towards the sea floor. It was gracefully as it swam and even more graceful as it stopped.
It wasn't a fish though.
No.
It was a merman.
Red hair swayed in the water as lanky, pale arms reached out... and wrapped around a blonde.
Underwater... Axel could touch the Shee.
The imp still had his small black horns and little wings... but his damned fire could not be ignited here.
The guardian wrapped his long tail around the boy, bring him into a tender but protective hug.
"Roxas... it's ok..."
Not too far away above, a little creature came from a black portal. It was the oddest looking thing ever. It was a wolf pup... like fish.
His barking was muffled by the water, making bubbles all over the place as he continued to follow the older blonde.
Ven was silent during the walk. He only heard the sound of the ocean clashing close to them.
He felt numb... for the first time in a long time.
He still didn't move as Terra found a place to stay. The inside was still damn... and abandoned. He flinched a bit as the door closed but sighed as the guardian laid down. His blue eyes closed sadly as he buried his face into the fur.

The leopard drew himself up. "One of the Shee changed him into... a pup and when they took their leave Saix ran off after them." He shook his head, glad he hadn't been anywhere nearby the spell when it was cast. "Two of the Shee's seals broke." He sooke suddenly. They had guessed long ago what mickey had done to keep the Shee undetectable. But now that the seals had snapped they would be much easier to find.
He drew his claw into the ground, murmuring softly a spell. Smoke seemed to waft from the circle, forming a large oval in the throne room and slowly, the scenes of which the leopard had seen began playing before Xehanort. First was the seen of the unseen Shee - the sight of the red-haired guardian, a ghost of blonde swirly hair, Saix jumping up into the window, the bright light and the sound of a spell breaking, then jumping up just as a blonde muscian and the wolf puppy Saix jumped away in a portal. The next to play was the secene of Port Royal - looking through a window, seeing the brunette inside who looked so much like Jet the same Shee that had taken the leopard's eyes, the brunette's eyes changing to orange as he screamed just as his blind guardian yanked him away. Finally... was the scene of Halloween Town - chasing across dead grass, only too see a snarling wolf with bull horns while a blonde Shee much like Runa curled onto the ground fiery red wings much like hers shimmering on his back, a whispered name Terra, a panicked howl and a quick retreat.
"That is what happened." The leopard whispered, not looking up.
Roxas gasped a bit as arms wrapped around him and he was suddenly brought into a hug. He squirmed, feeling odd and strange, His wings fluttered sluggishly in the heavy water, unable to really flap. Seeing their usefulness was over the wings shimmered and disappeared. He looked up at Axel breathing unsteadyily. He wasn;t really scared as much as he was exhuasted...
and then suddenly he realized something. "Axel?! How are you!!!" He looked around frantically, nothing his scenary was... rippling. He also took notice that his legs weren;t moving like they should nor did the sleeky feeling of SCALES against him feel... normal.
He looked down and gasped. "oh.... my... God!" He grinned estacticaly, unstanding instantly. "We're underWATER?!" He was a merman! And and Axel too!! Though Akbar didn't have much on underwater creatures he still recognized the tail of a dolphin on him, the colors a blushish-green. But Axel's tail he didn't recognize at all.
A suddenly yipping drew his attention away and he looked up, seeing... Demyx?!
"W-Whoa!" The blonde cried from above, feeling like he had jumped from the fire and into the ice. It was all... "WATER!!" He cheered spinning around excitedly. His tail was a golden color with black and white stripes and very thin with a small tail. He recognized the markings of it - an angelfish!
He blinked suddenly, realizing something was scratching against his chest and looked down, remembering the paper. "Ah- eh?" He lfited them seeing they were... in perfect condition. He felt the substance and it remidned him of... seaweed?
He heard barking and glanced to his side, laughing a bit. "Hahah, how cute!" He pointed to the pup-turned-fish.
Terra felt Ventus nuzzling against him and murmured quietly. "Would you like to see them even if they can't see you back or is it still unfair?" He knew the blonde was scared and worried... and it would still take a lot of magic - probably even more now since they were farther away then ever before.
But he wanted the blonde's smile to come back. He seemed so meloncoly.

The old man eyed the projection and grinned. So... two out of three were spotted. That was more than enough.
His golden eyes seemed to sharpen as he saw the last one.
Slowly he stood, his jacket flowing out behind him.
"Haha... how ironic, isn't it Hatori? Your own son... a guardian of a Shee."
He walked down the steps and passed the leopard. "That must bring you much shame."
He shook his head and grinned.
"An Atterian, a blind man and an imp. These are your guardian's Mickey?" He stopped, his hand calmly behind his back. He was expecting... more fierce and powerful creatures. The Atterian was powerful... but the blind man and imp? Nothing.
He supposed... if the guardians were powerful and fierce, they would of been easier to find.
"You are clever."
All of a sudden, millions of small portal started to appear.
"But you messed up. You use Darkness to travel... and we own it."
Out of the millions of portals, only four were larger than the rest, varying by size. There was the one that Hatori had just come through... and then there was three others.
He pointed to each, from smallest to largest.
"Traverse Town, Dragoon and Atlantica."
He frowned. Now... the Atterian was using his head. He went back to the other Connection.
His golden eyes glowed as he thought.
"Let's let them adjust. Two weeks. If they move, we will know where they're going. When two weeks are up... we'll go Shee hunting once more... and now that we know they use our Darkness... we can have them go to a world that WE choose." He snickered before looking back at the leopard. "Well done Hatori."
Axel pouted as he felt the other squirm in his arms. He slowly let go, figuring that he was hurting the other's wings... which majickly disappeared. He smiled though as he saw the blue eyes again... and then the happy look on his face.
"Yep! We're mermen!" He said, his fins swooshing back and forth to keep himself right.
He hated water so much... but this was a pretty safe place... full of majick... and music.
He looked up, seeing the blonde... dance in the water? Guess he really liked it. Well... being a gypsy, taking a bath is on the last panel on the 'To Do' list. This must of been heaven for him. He raised a brow as he saw what Demyx was pointing to. A.... dogfish? Wolffish?
The odd little creature continued to bark as it swam towards Demyx and circled him a few times, little bubble floating around him.
Axel smiled as he placed a hand on Roxas's shoulder. It was nice... to touch someone again. He pointed out, showing the Shee the amazing looking castle in the background.
"This world is called Atlantica. It's the home to talking underwater life... and they're true love... is music. Everyone is pretty friendly..." He smiled softly be started to look around.
"We should find a place to sleep."
He took the Shee's hand and slowly started to guide him down towards a cove.
It was dark in there... but as they swan through the opening, colorful fish swam out quickly.
There were some beds of seaweed inside... and the redhead floated down on one of them gracefully, pulling the Shee down with him.
"No."
The blunt answer came with some frustration behind it. The blonde only buried his face into the fur more.
"I wanna go home." His voice was muffled by the wolf's hair. "I was taken away from one.... one that I grew up on. Then I was taken away from the other. I had so many friends... and memories... all gone now."
Tears slowly ran down his face. He was suppose to be the tough one...
He suddenly got up and walked away, heading to a large window that was covered in dust. He wiped it away, looking up at the large moon.
"And what now? I have to start all over again?"
He crossed his arms, an angry face over his features. "I don't want to!"
He stood like that... back in his regular clothes that he was in when he left Akbar.
His arms slowly fell to his side as he looked down. More tears started to form in his eyes.
"And.... what....what about..." He slowly started to choke. "What about you? When this ever ends....hic.... you'll be gone too!" He closed his eyes and started to sob.
Hormones could really get to a young boy. Happy one moment, sad the next.

The wolf, Hatori, gave a soft growl of agreement. Of course he was ashamed. His sonw as idiotic! And... nothing but a traitor. How could he protect those mesely fairies... after what they had done to them? it was despicable. His son had become a traitor to him!
And he knew after that display that Terra had recognized him as well. The wolf had seemed panicked, as if he was somehting to be feared rather then his father. How did his son become such a... disgrace?
He listened to his master quietly raising his head slowly, one golden eye gleaming as he heard the worlds the other's had gone too. Dragoon... he knew Dragoon pretty well. He had told his son stories of that world when he had been a young pup. It was one he had never been interesting forcing into extinction. The dragons on that world were curious and strong, ancient as time itself. He had no doubt in his mind it was his son that had traveled there.
The Dark Knight stood silently as the plan was explained, already instinctively knowing it even before his true side spoke. It was a good plan... the Shee would be destroyed within moments, no matter what was guarding them. The shee themseleves were young and inexperiences and though they were powerful their knowledge of how to use it would be null, making them easy targets just like the young children Shee that had been killed in the masscre over 15 years ago.
Hatori looked up then bowed his head again ingratitude of the praise. Two weeks eh... His tongue licked across his chops. the blood would be theirs...
and he would make sure to show Terra exactly what happened to Atterian traitors.
Roxas' excitement grew listening to the description of the world. Singing? So he'd still get to have his concert afterall!! He laughed a bit, and with Axel's guiadance tested out his fin, swimming in an almsot natural way after the other. He followed him into a cove, ignoruing Demyx and his.. pet for now.
The darkness surronded them and he felt arms wrap around him. He smiled softly, murmuring. "it's... nice to be able to touch you now." He whispered turning some to wrap his own arms around the red-head. his tail curled around him and slowly began to relax, already feeling the exhasution of using magic creeping back upon him. He heard Axel murmur somethings, unsure of what it was because he was already asleep, leaning all of his weight onto the other.
Demyx laughed as he swam around, watching the dog chase around him. He set the music sheets out atop a rock as well as his sitar and then reached out, grabbing the fish and hugging it to his chest. "Puppy!!!" He always wanted to have a dog for a pet but the gypsies didn't like the idea of HIM raising a pet. It wasn't that they didn't have any they just didn;t trust his responsilbility techniques.
Hey just because he left the bonfire becase he saw a songbird and wanted to impress it with his music, leaving a whole cabint o burn down, did NOT mean he was irresponsible!!
He looked around noticing both Axel and Roxas swimming away and into a cove, he was about to follow but decided against it. "We'll give them some alone time." He murmured to the dog, snickering. Now he was blonde and he definitely wasn't that bright HOWEVER... he did know when someone liked another person. At least that's how he started to udnerstand Axel's irrational spurts of anger any time he got too close to the blonde or shared too many 'affections' with him. It was kinda obvious really... and he had a feeling Roxas knew it and was just stringing along those feelings further for the hell of it.
They were gonna make an interesting couple.
Terra's ears twitched as his request was again denied. He sighed a bit shaking his head, hearing the blonde talking about his homes. he opened his mouth to correct him - to inform him that he had indeed left THREE worlds if you counted Norn - but thought better of it, snapping his mouth shut.
He felt the blonde's warm presence leaving his back and walking towards a window, blue eyes shimmering as they looked out. He listened to the other silently and when he began to cry it was too much. Unfortunetly, Terra didn't have an much unending patience with tears as Riku and Axel seemed to. Where he grew up if you cried for any other reason other then being hurt - and even then it was a stretch - you got punished for being weak. And thatw as exactly what he was going to do now - though of course his punishing would be more humanized and come through words rather than brute force.
"Stop it!" He snapped, getting to his feet. His voice was loud and strong and unnaturally strict. He wlaked over to the blonde, sitting down and looking pointedly up at the other. "Now you listen here we all have to do PLENTY of things we don't want to or go through things we don't like to. When I was a pup i used to have spikes on my back, and even though the scars are covered by fur they are still there. I had them removed so I could get fed. you think I liked that?" His ears flattened a bit. "You think I like being stuck like this?" He murmured softly then shook his wolf head.
He sat down looking up at him. "And what's all this 'memories and friends all gone' shit?! Fuck Ven! Friends don't just stop being friends even if you can't be by their side every other minute! As for fucking memories... damn Ventus don't you have a brain in their? Just remember them it's not THAT hard."
He shook his head and turned, walking back for the pillows. "As for me..." he frowned thoughtfully, unsure of what he wanted to say here. He looked back at Ventus and sighed. "Do you know the reason me, Riku and Axel even agred to be guardians? All of us are cursed. Riku is blind, Axel can't touch a thing without burning it up and I can't shapeshift back into my human form unless it's a blue moon - and even then it's so agonizing it's hardly worth it. Mickey promised each of us to help us solve our curses if and only if we helped him first. his request... was for us to protect you guys. We agreed."
He laid down again looking at the blonde seriously. "Once this is over... if I even happen to live through it... once it's over and your back home I'm going to go with Mickey to where ever I need to to break the curse." He laid his head down, shutting his eyes. "But even if we're miles away we're still friends too. We'll always be friends Ventus. I've never had friends before this whole adventure started and then i met riku and Axel and you and your brothers... I'm never going to forget having them. If you want me too, once the curse is broken, I can come visit you on Akbar as often as you'd like. I'll still protect you too. even after we take care of these people you'll still be a Shee. There will be more out their who will want your power. So I guess I'll always be your guardian too."
He sighed, eyes sliding shut. It had been quite a day... and knowing his father was now his enemy... amde it no better. "Now get the fuck over here and lets go to bed."

Axel smiled and blinked, feeling the other's arms around him. No one had ever touched him before... except for now... and man... did it feel good. A goofy smile ran over his features as he laid in the sea weed with the Shee.
Their tails wrapped around each other, their arms around each other... so close.
A sigh left the imp's mouth. "Night Rox..." But when he go no reply... he knew the blonde was asleep. He smiled softly but it turned into a frown. "Oh man...." He said to himself. He wasn't sure... if he should get so close to the Shee. Things would... get tough in the future. He knew deep down inside... that things weren't going to stay peaceful for long. They... just couldn't keep running...
He ran his hands through the blonde hair that floated in the water and sighed.
The wolffish squeaked as Demyx pulled him close. His tongue hung out happily though and suddenly licked the blonde, yipping happily.
Ven's eyes widened as Terra started to yell at him, making him catch his crying in his throat. Sad eyes looked down as Terra continued and slowly walked away from him. This... was getting horrible. He missed Terra being in the distance watching... He wasn't use to such... a cold treatment. Even when his father yelled at him, it has some heart to it.
He flinched as Terra called him over and sighed. Slowly the boy walked towards the wolf and sat down by his side and laid down, turning away and sighing.
Sora.... Roxas....
In the morning, the sun shown down onto the hill. The grass was bright green and butterflies flew around happily. There was a sudden noise as something under the ground started to weave up the hill to the two sleeping under a tree.
Suddenly, it popped up next to the silverette. It was grey and small, large, big teeth in the front of his mouth.
"Ssssay there ssssonny!"
The silverette suddenly jumped. "Whoa!" He looked back, a bit shaken up as he looked around. "Wha--?"
"I sssay, I'm down here!"
The young man looked down, towards where the sound was coming from.
"Ssssssay, there'sssss ssssssssomething wrong with your eyessss." The little creature whistled.
Riku tilted his head. "Uh... well... I'm blind."
"Ya don't ssssssay now!"
Oddly shaped fins floated around as the skinny merman swam around the cove quietly. Now that it was day, the cove shown with beautiful colors. He had poked his head to look for Demyx... but he seemed to be occupied with the surrounding... and the puppy.
He smiled softly and looked back at Roxas who had covered himself with seaweed and sleeping like a baby.
Ven slept on the cold, wooden floor... tossing a bit here and there. He moaned in his sleep, nightmares plaguing him from the night before when he saw the creatures. They were vague... but still bothersome.

Roxas unlike Axel wasn't worried - or thinking ahead - by the aftershocks that would occur the closer they got after this was all over. He wasn't thinking about how Axel will probably go away to have Mickey cure him once it was certain he'd be safe. He didn't think about how... close they really were getting.
Meanwhile the happy barks and laughter of a playing merman with his dog would echo outside of the cove for many hours to come. Eventually though the blonde sitarist would lay upon a rock surondby musical notes and a small dog fish would cuddle at his side, ready for sleep.
Terra sighed as the blonde came back to his side knowing he just got failing points for social skills. Well damn it all the kid was too emotional for is own good and needed to find out life was harsher on the outside of his safety bubble he lived in on Akbar - or worse then what it was on Halloween Town even.
By the end of this he couldn't even garuentee they'd all be alive...
Sora stirred when he felt Riku jump beside him. He yawned and saat up blinking blirrily. "Ri...?" He glanced at him seeing him talking to... the ground?
For a moment he thought the pressure of being a Guardian had gotten to the young silverette then he ehard a small voice and crawled forth glancing down at... "Hello, who are you/?" He asked crouching low so he was level with the little animal. "A gopher??"
Demyx was the first to awake the morning - oh well thats not technically correct the puppy was the first to awake and subsequently woke up him by... biting on his tail. "Hey stop that!!" He had said. He had chased after the puppy, still trying to get used to swimming without spreading his legs - which was a lot harder then it had at first appeared, but soon he and the puppt were chasing each other jovially around the cove. That was about the time Axel woke up.
At first Demyx didn't notice that he WAS in fact being watched but when he caught the sight of red in the corner of his eye he paused on all his playfulness, looking at the imp-turned-merman. He smiled, swimming over towards him. "Hey! G'morning!" He said cxheerfully - as if Axel hadn't been treating him like dirt for the past three days (it was amazing how easy he forgot things.) "How's Roxas?" He asked concernedly. Roxas was definitely the first persaon he'd ever seen to GROW wings afterall. It looked painful.
Terra stirred, feeling something shifting around restlessly beside him. He rasied his head, glancing at the blonde, seeing how contorted his face was with displeasure. The wolf frowned, rasing himself up and leaned over the blonde, licking his face. "Ven... hey Ven wake up!"
Just as the blonde was stirring he heard something creaking. He looked around, unsure of what was causing the noise. He snarled, getting up in front of Ventus, seeing the wooden door they had entered last night was being... shoved open?
"God DAMN who closed it?" A sharp voice asked -decidedly female. And in walked... a woman. No a girl. She hard very brillant blue hair cropped short at her shoulders and blue eyes as sharp as her voice. Her face was heart-shaped and he was sure if you get get the cold look off her face her smile would be beautiful. She wore... strange garments. More like armor really. It was a light blue, covering her whole body. It was scalely like snake skin but he was sure it was tougher then it appeared. Around her forehead was some sort of headdress also blue, with a small dark sapphire in the middle.
The most amazing thing was that across her back, spreading out proudly were... wings. Dragon wings. They had an almost transluscent appearence, seeingthrough like dragonfly wings and when they light cxaught them just right you could see rainbows.
The woman's head turned, quickly catching sight of the snarling beast and... some sort of blonde. "Who the fuck are you?" She snapped cruelly.
"I dunno. What the fuck are YOU?" Terra snapped back - and when she didn't immediately recoil in surprise of an animal speaking to her he began to worry. What WAS she?
"Well your a polite little demon aren't you? And what's with the shrimp behind you? Your dinner?" She said, smirking.
Terra just growled again, getting low on his haunches as if ready tp charge at her. "Don't come any closer or i'll rip out your throat!"

The little gopher looked up at the brunette who was looking down at him. He smiled and nodded proudly. "That'sss right, ssssssssonny. The name'ssssss Gopher!"
Riku cocked his head. A gopher.... named Gopher? He hoped his mother wasn't seriously that uncreative! What.... what the HELL was a gopher?? They didn't have those back on Destiny...
"Ssssssso, what bringsssss you hear to the Hundred Ache Woodsss?"
Before Sora could speak, Riku butted in.
"We wanted to see the beautiful sights. You see, my friend Sora here wants to be a teacher... to small children... and we're venturing to find stories from all over."
The gopher rubbed his chin and nodded as he listened.
"Ssssstoriessssss you sssssssay? I know ssssssomeone who lovessssss to tell ssssssssssstoriesssssss."
Riku slowly stood and nodded, pulling his jacket back on. "Oh?"
"Yessssss, hisssss name isssss Owl! Ya can find him on down that path!"
The gopher turned and pointed towards a path over a bridge.
The small wolffish thing opened it's gold eyes and looked around. His tongue stuck out as he slowly swam away from the man who was peacefully sleeping. He swam to the other's tail... seeing it wave in the water. Oh! He suddenly bit it and started to yank and swish it around. He yipped though as a strong flap sent him flying out into a nearby rock. He blinked and started to whine but the blonde swam over and started to pet him.
He yipped happily and started to swim away, yipping even more as he saw the blonde chase after him. It was fun and the blonde seemed to be really happy!
He panted though after awhile and blinked as he saw the blonde swim down to a cove. He yipped and eagerly followed him.
Axel blinked as the blonde came down... and was perky as hell. He looked back seeing another blonde sleeping peacefully. He smiled softly and shrugged. "He seems to be ok." Slowly the redhead left the blonde's side to go to the younger, and gently put his hands on the boy's shoulders. "Hey Rox... wake up"
Ven shivered as he felt something hot and wet on his face. Was... he getting eaten!? He stirred and fussed a bit, only to open his eyes slowly. It was damp and cold but the blonde quickly saw... his guardian's ass in his face. He frowned but blinked, seeing that a woman was.... standing at the door.
He sat up and frowned more, seeing that she was... quite interesting looking.
He blinked even more as Terra made the threat... and then suddenly... the door opened even more. Another figure walked in... but this time... it seemed to be a male. Like her, he had armor on that looked like scales... but they were dark navy unlike her bright blue. He wore a helmet that covered his face unlike her.
"As if."
He put plainly as he suddenly pointed something at the wolf... it looked like..... a gun!?
Ven suddenly jolted up and sprang in front of Terra. "Don't shoot!"

Sora giggled a bit when he heard the gopher's name. Well it might of been uncreative but it was simple and easy to remember. From his surrondings and - if his memory served him right - then this was probably a children's book! His attention was drawn when Gopher inquired about what the needed but luckily Riku was good at lying.
Sora's eyes lit up at the idea of stories and chuckled. Owl eh? He bet all his money it WAS an owl. He paused curiously then stood grinning. "Alright then we'll go see him! Thank you so much Gopher!" He grabbed Riku's hand helping him up, and with a wave to the gopher started walking down the path, looking around at his surrondings. He breathed in deeply, grinning. "Wow Riku it's beautiful here." He murmured, seeing wildflowers coloring the meadows, large trees taller then any he'd ever seen framing the small world. Far off there was a stream gleaming brightly in the sunlight. The only clouds above were big and fluffy. It was like a spring wonderland.
He hummed softly, forgetting momentarily that his and Riku's hands were still clasped. Had his brothers been here they would have teased him about having a boyfriend. Sora walked over a brigde pasuing momentarily to watch the stream flow underneath. "I guess it's true when they say their's a whole other world inside of books." He looked up, seeing a large tree with a wooden swing attached to it. He laughed. "Hey Riku wanna swing?"
Demyx smiled, seeing that Axel seemed to be in a much better mood today. He looked at the wolf-fish as it swam around him and laughed, reaching out to pet it. It was kind of weird knowing it should be fluffy and feelings only silky scales instead. It was hard to make his brain thing the way of a fish when it knew he was a human - or well whatever he was.
Roxas stirred at Axel's call his blue eyes sliding open. He yawned, stretching somewhat and swam from out of the cave and into the cove. He looked around and his mouth gaped open. "W-Wow." Now that it was lighter he could see everything so clear. The water around him wasn't polluted at all, nice and clear. Everything around him was shades of blue and green - the underwater plants all sorts of shapes and sizes and colors with names he couldn't even begin to imagine. Akbar had no oceans - though it had many rivers and lakes. Swimming was not something unknown to him or his siblings, they HAD swam in the rivers often on hot summer days when they were trying to avoid the world and lessons. And then of course there were those times with Axel...
Yet swimming as a fish was proving to be a little more complicated. He looked down at his own tail, frowning a bit. It felt like both his legs were sealed together with super glue. It was a good thing he wasn;t on land oer he would be in a lot of trouble. He noticed however when he swam he needed no help from his arms, his tail did all the work. "Huh... This is different. This doesn;t feel like swimming."
Demyx chuckled. "You'll get used to it!" He reassured. He glanced at Axel. "How are you at swimming?" A fire imp... swimming. It just seemed so odd.
Terra's ears twitched hearing Ventus moving from behind him and then his eyes widened, seeing the man that appeared next to the girl take out some sort of strange weapon. The fur on his back bristled and he growled but suddenly Ventus was in FRONT of him.
"Are you stupid?!" Terra snapped, hurrying around the other, growling at Ven. "I'm supposed to be protecting you not the other way around!!" He could handle that weapon no matter what it was! He faced the two, growling fiercely.
The blue haired woman watched the two's display curiously, then she burst into laughter. "You've GOT to be kidding!" Her mirth was quickly cut short however and she reached back, tugging something from behind her. It was long and thin with a pointed end. A spear. She pointed it at the two. "Both of you... what the hell are you doing in Regole's temple?"
So he had been right. It WAS a temple. "We were looking for shelter."

Riku smiled as the brunette's happy voice came back. That was the Sora he knew...
He blinked though as his hand was taken and slowly, was pulled down a direction. He followed.. but unlike Sora, he noted their hands together. If he was back at his home world... he knew he would be picked on too.
He stopped with the boy to what seemed to be a bridge. He heard the sound of water trickling. A brook?
Quiet honestly, Riku had never been to this world before personally... only knew about it and it's simple ways. What and who they bumped into... well... that would be of his surprise too.
He looked towards Sora's voice and smiled. "Sure."
Slowly he was led out by hand again and stopped. He felt Sora's hand leave and some sounds of rope and wood. He then felt hands on his, guiding him to a rope.
With some guidance, he nodded, knowing exactly what to do.
Slowly he pulled the ropes back and then let go. His blind hands moved out softly, suddenly feeling Sora's back.
He quickly moved back and then, gave Sora a push.
The young man couldn't help but laugh as he hear the other's joy as well. Every time he pushed the boy, the wind would blow up his silver hair, making it wisp in the sky.
Axel watched the boy leave and followed him, seeing Demyx and the... pup again.
He smiled as he saw Roxas swim around a bit, looking absolutely amazed. He knew it would be a huge change... but the boy loved to sing. This was a great place to sing. Axel... wanted to feel. The water allowed him to do so.
Green eyes moved to Demyx and nodded. "Yea~ No problem~~" He swam around, circling up and twisting down as if swimming was natural to him. He needed to see every world before this mission started... so he was able to get a feel for all of them.
"So... what do you guy's think?"
Before any could answer, there was the sudden sound of bubbles.
"What is dis!?"
The sound of an odd accent came to the ears of the three mermen. They all looked up... seeing a.... crab?
The wolffish licked his chops and suddenly swam at it.
"AH! GET AWAY FROM MEEE!"
Before the pup could do much damage, Demyx grabbed it.
Axel crossed his arms, his bright green eyes looking at the crab. "Hey there. We're kinda.... new here. The name is Axel. This is my friend Roxas..... and Demyx." He pointed to each. "Got it memorized?"
"Oh boy, I don't know if da king is gonna like dis!"
"Sure he will! We're musicians!"
Ven blinked in surprise as Terra jumped back in front of him. He frowned.... but maybe Terra was right. He was suppose to be HIS guardian. His offensive majick was becoming a bit too triggered. "Yea Terra, this world seems A LOT more safer!" He growled back but was interrupted by the woman.
"As if." The blunt words came from the male figure in armor. He placed the gun like weapon back to his side and reached up, pulling off his helmet. Long black hair with grey strands fell over the navy scales. His one eyes was golden... and the other had an eye patch over it.
The golden eye brew Ven back a bit... along with the horrid scar near it.
"No one is allowed in here." He spoke with a raspy voice, his cold eye staring them down. "It's been shut off from the public for years. The only reason people come here is to steal. So, what did you take?" His voice also had a sharp accent of criticism.

Sora grinned when Riku agreed. "Alright!" He said excitedly, leading Riku over to the swing. He gingerly set down, making sure the swing could hold his weight. He grinned when it didn't even creak - and he felt along the rope/ It was firm and reassuring under his hand. He nodded to himself, then reached back, cupping his hands over Riku;s and leading them up to the rope, not even having to tell the other what to do. He curled his own hands underneath Riku's the slight brushing of skin on skin warming his hands just like everytime they touched or held hands.
He grinned when Riku pulled the swing back and let go and Sora kicked out his legs pushing out further. Then he was lead back, reassuring hands catching him and pushing him further. The Shee laughed happily as he swung through the air the wind push his hair back and fluttered his clothes. The sight of the world around him was as breathtaking as the small... almost romantic thing he and Riku were doing. Sora flushed a bit, chuckling. After a few minutes Sora scrapped his shoes along the ground, coming to a stop, Riku's hands reaching up to catch him. He looked up and grinned. "Now you!"
He got off the swing and despite Riku's first protests quickly led him to the swing, having him sit down. When the silverette finally gave in and reached up to grab the rope, Sora grinned and grabbed onto the swing, backing up and then letting go. When the blind man came back down thans to gravity he pushed him up further.
The were having so much fun they didn;t even hear the wingbeats in the air as something large and bird-like landed on the branch above the swing. The bird tilted it's head curiously. The brunette was laughing as he told the elder to swing out his legs more.
"My My now that looks fun!"
Sora was just pushing Riku again when he heard the voice and glanced up, "Eh?" It looked like... "You must be Owl." He said with a grin.
Demyx's attention was caught by the new voice and he looked up seeing the crab as it flew over. He blinked his mouth falling open. He could talk to FISH!!! He hearsd a bark and suddenly the wolf pup tried to fly at the crab and he quickly reached out, grabbing onto the slippery fish. "Now now, no eating crabs!"
Roxas looked up at the crab, smiling calmly as Axel explained. "thats right. We're just not from around these waters."
"But our music is Grade A" Demyx cheerfully intoned, already getting the idea. It looked like they weren't going to reveal that they had originally been from uptop or anything like that. Then again no one would believe it - hell he barely believed it! He wondered how Axel did it... he;d have to remember to ask. And about Roxas' wings too!
"Oh Sebastian." A new, melodic voice said and from the same area the crab had swum from a new person appeared. A mermaid with long red hair and a green tail. The only thing hiding her modesty were two seashells over her chest. "Don't go scaring them. Daddy'll love new guests!"
Roxas' jaw dropped and he looked away, blushing ever so lightly. Wow. Mermaids... were bad things!
The mermaid smiled at the three. "And we could always use more singers and players for our concerts! It;s always nice to hear new voices. My name's Ariel."
"Demyx!" The blonde cheered back with a wave, not even taking notice of the girl's appearence. It hardly interesting him - besides he'd seen gypsy girls in even less.
"R-Roxas." The other blonde sttuered, avoiding eye contact.
Terra rolled his eyes at the blonde's chastisement. Did he ASK him? Besides this was his first visit too how was he suppsoed to know the residents were hostile? This was the thanks he got for trying to protect a ungrateful little Shee.
His ears flipped back as the man suddenly revealed himself. He gave him a once over and growled slightly, seeing the one eye. It reminded him terribly of his father - sening uncomfortable shivers down his spine. He snarled when he suddenly accused them of being thieves. "Oh please." He snapped suddenly. "Like there's anything TO steal."
"What;d you say dog!?" The woman snapped smacked the tip of her spear in the ground. Her eyes gleamed with malice and Terra noted somewhere that if they ever got in good with these people he would have to remember now to piss the girl off.
"ever heard of innocent until proven guilty?" He snapped at both of them. "And I'm a wolf thank you very much. The only thing I've ever stolen in my life is food I could care less about you humans and your damn sentimental trinkets."
The woman's eyes narrowed, hating the wolf's tone already. She leant on her spear. "Then what ARE you doing here?"
"Well gee," Terra started, trying to sound as condescending as possible. "It was rather chilly out last night amd we were tired. What the fuck do you THINK we were doing? Knitting socks?"

Riku smiled more as he pushed the boy gently. He had seen kids far in the distance doing this when he was young. He... always wanted to try... but that was meant... for two people.
He blinked though as Sora stopped.
"Now you!"
He blushed as gasped as Sora grabbed his arms and lead him around. "Ah... Sora, I don't think I--"
He was suddenly plopped down on an unstable chair and gapped his mouth. His hands were pulled to the ropes and the brunette left his side. Guess there was no saying 'no' to this Shee once he was determined.
He grew a bit uneasy as Sora pulled the swing back... and then let go. He soared out, his feel dragging.
"Pull your feet out!"
He did as he was told.
"Now bring them under when you come back!"
He did that as well. His back was pushed as he came back down, his silver hair fluttering over his face.
Once he got the hang of it... he really liked it. A large smile ran over his face as he was pushed again, Sora telling him to pull his feet up a bit more.
However, his feet dug into the green grass as he heard something from above. His dull, frosted eyes looked up towards the sound. Owl? My god if their names weren't original...
"Ma-ma-ma-my. I-it sure does."
A small little voice came from another direction and the silverette turned his head towards it.
Axel blinked as he heard a new voice too, looking in the direction that the crab had come from. Sebastian huh? He cocked his head, his arms still crossed.
He smiled at the new... woman as she started to speak. She was Ariel, the king's daughter. He knew of her... and she was as sweet as they had said.
"I'm Axel." He said proudly, then looked at Roxas. He saw the blush on the boy's face and huffed a bit. He'd seen topless women too... not that he wanted to. Unfortunately female imps never wore tops... and one seemed to like him.... became his stalker for a few weeks and kept bumping into bare boobs all through that period.
That wasn't fun.
Axel smiled as Demyx went along with it. Ok, so he wasn't so dumb.
"That's right! Demyx can play, Roxas can sing and I can dance. I'm sure we'll be a great aspect to your concert!"
The crab pulled his claws over his head and shook it. "I don't know..."
The man frowned as he watched the argument. Bless Regole! If he just let them continue, they would be here all week bickering back and forth at each other. "What a bunch of duds." He rolled his eye and looked away.
He suddenly put his hand over the woman's mouth so that she wouldn't snap back.
"That's enough Aqua, there's no use to fight back."
He pushed the door open more, the light from outside making it easier to see the two strangers in their temple.
Suddenly he turned to them again, his face looking evil as his narrow eyebrows met his cold eye. Something seemed to click inside of him. "Atterian's are pretty high strung. Looks like this one found himself something to eat." He frowned, his face becoming more twisted. "That's what you were going to do in here, wasn't it? Well, lemme tell you, you aren't doing it in here."

Sora grinned when he saw how much enjoyment Riku was getting out of this. He wondered idly if this was his first time, since he didn;t seem to know how. He knew Riku hadn't been blind his whole life but he should still have -
"My mother cut us off from the world'
Sora's eyes grew a little sad, thinking about that. Did Riku... not have any friends? But the appearence of an Owl drew his attention really quickly. He heard Riku sliding to a stop and then a new voice from far down made him look around. He grinned chcukling. "A piglet!" He walked over kneeling down, seeing how frightened it was. He smiled jovially. "Hey there. Your kinda cute!"
"When did you all get here? The last of your kind we saw here was Christpher Robin and that was a long, long time ago." Owl said from above.
"Oh Sebastian don;t be so rude!" Ariel said. She grinned. "Of course you can all join in. There's always room for one more in our concerts I always say!" She smiled glancing at Roxas. "And A male merman singing will be something completely new. Why don;t you all join us in the concert lounge? We were just about to get practicing in fact!"
"I-I don't-" Roxas suttuered but he wasn;t going to get the chance to argue.
"Yeah that sounds like fun!" Demyx called, swimming over to his rock and schuffling up the papers and his sitar. The mermaid watched him but the minute she saw the instrument she got excited. She swam over. "Oh my what is this?!"
"Huh? Oh my sitar!" He said.
"I've never seen anything like it before!" She exclaimed. "It looks like something that fell from the human world! like a string-a-mah-jig!"
Demyx grinned and laughed. "A... string-a-mah-jig?"
"Yeah! It's kind like this except it;s more round and had a little hole in the middle and-"
"You mean a... guitar?"
Ariel gasped. "Is THAT what it;s called? How did you know?"
"Uh..." Demyx blinked, unsure of how to answer.
The women, now revealed as Aqua, was about to snap back when suddenly a hand was placed over her mouth, stopping all comebacks. She scoffed, shoving his hand away but reluctantly didn't say anything more.
Terra's eyes squinted as the extra light was added, blinking away the dots in his eyes and he looked towards the man, seeing how his expression changed. The minute he mentioned Atterian however his eyes widened. How did he...?
"Looks like this one found himself something to eat"
Wha...? Terra at first was confused then he glanced back at Ventus and his eyes widened in sudden understanding. He thought... He wanted to...
He looked forward, fury clouding his mind. "THAT'S DISGUSTING!" He howled at them, "How DARE you accuse me..." He growled, fury making his body shake. "I'l... show you HIGH STRUNG!" He shot forward suddenly.
"Holy shit!" Aqua got out, seeing the wolf charge. She rasied her spear, slashing for the wolf but Terra jumped over the swing fangs clamped down on the pole of the spear. He twisted his body his back ppaws smacking soundly against Aqua's chest, throwing her backwards with alarming force.
He continued to twist, his tail going red as it flung out and smacked into Xigbar hard and it felt more like being hit with a club, shoving him backwards with more force then a tail should have. Terra landed on his front paws, tossing the spear and it went sailing, imbedding itself into a wall. He growled at both of them, his eyes narrowing on them both. "Don't fucking accuse me of anything until you know me!"

Riku blinked as he heard the owl, letting Sora talk to the other. A piglet? He wondered what ever could the thing be called....
He looked back up to where the owl's voice was.
"We arrived last night!" He called up. "Sorry if we're disrupting anything! You see, we're venturing to look for stories! My friend here is going to be a first grade teacher and he needs to find stories from all over!"
He paused as he tilted his head. "By the way! Who and where is this Christopher Robin?"
The small pink animal shivered as the large boy walked over... but when he heard the boy's voice, he smiled faintly. "O-o-oh my. You k-k-know my name?" This boy did say Piglet right? "I d-don't seem to remember y-yours." His small ears lowered as he looked down. He felt a bit more safe now. The boy kinda reminded him of Christopher Robin.
Axel couldn't help but chuckle as he saw how bashful Roxas was. He'd hate to see the boy look at a nudie magazine. He blinked as he saw Demyx swim down and collect the papers and his sitar, quickly picking up the conversations.
Damnit... did he have to cover for EVERYONE!?
He swam down and grinned, his arm wrapping around Demyx's shoulders and pulling him into a friendly embrace.
"Yea, we collect human instruments too. However we had to leave them back home because we knew we'd be traveling far to find this palace of yours!"
He smiled brightly, jabbing Demyx hard in the rips to go along with it all.
The crab on the other hand swam to Roxas's face.
"So, you dink you can sing? I got to see dat!"
The tail hit the man hard, making him fly back into a large door. He fell to the ground but quickly stood, his armor helping his impact. He growled, his golden eye glaring back at the wolf. Before he could do much, he looked back, seeing the spear slammed into the wall. He quickly went to the woman's side, checking if she was ok. If he even offered to help, he knew she'd snap at him.
So he turned back to the beast and the boy who was now huddled in the corner.
"You act as if Atterian's didn't eat people." The man swung his head as if to seem smarter. "You must be a dud Atterian though." His voice settled a bit. "Never seen any that defensive before."
"W-what are you talking about!?" The blonde suddenly snapped out.
The man looked over, then gave a smug laugh. Slowly he pulled off his torso armor, revealing a black shirt underneath. He pulled that off too... and revealed something... that wasn't so pleasant.
Large, dark scars ran all over the man's torso, even larger than the scar on his face. His one arm was all stitched up, abs ripped open and even a nipple was missing as a scar over took it. His body had an odd deformity about it... and there was even a huge scar around his neck, looking like fang marks.
"Trust me kid... I know what Atterians can do. Escaped with my life. Took me a whole year to get my voice back." His raspy voice continued. He looked back at Terra. "Never thought I'd see another one."
Ven's eyes widened, taking in... that view and...
Atterians.... did this.... to people....?
He tensed when the man grabbed his gun again, pointing it at Terra.
"Now, you better get off this world while you still can."

Owl flapped out his wings. "Stories? Oh what a wonderful endevour to pursue! Learning stories!" He acted as if it was the most unnatural thing he'd ever heard.
He blinked however when the silver-haired man asked his next question. "Christopher Robin was one who walked on two legs and had limbs gangly like yours and your companion's. He was a very good friend of ours and always took good care of us, teaching us things of his world by the likes of which we'd never seen. He was a good storyteller - better then even I. Sadly he has not come by for a very long, long time. He had been getting so tall too... we thought he'd start towering over Tigger!"
Sora blinked then laughed. Should he of been surprised? "Actually I just guessed your name. You've yet to meet me." He tilted his head, his smile kind as he spoke. "My name is Sora and me and my friend over there." He pointed towards him, "He's Riku. We're new here and i'm just looking to hear some good stories. And make lotsa friends too!"
"Oh my! you'll have to show me your collection one day!" Ariel said. "I can show you mine then too!"
"Yours...?"
The mermaid glanced back at Sebastian seeing he was busy being mean to the smaller blonde mermaid before leaning in whispering. "Of human things! But don't tell my daddy or anyone else that I have it okay?"
Demyx blinked but nodded. "Yeah course not!"
"Good! Now about the concert..."
Roxas rasied his head when Axel swam away, only to get a faceful of crab. He gave a surprised bark, kicking his tail to back awat from the crab and he flushed. "S-See? U-U-Uh..."
Ariel glanced back, hearing Roxas' stutterings. She smiled. "Now don;t be shy! I want to hear you sing too!!"
Aqua grunted as she was smacked into the floor. She shook her head, sitting up slowly, and glanced at the man, giving a nod to show she was alright. He knew better then to help her though. Smart man learned fast. However.. she had to agree with him. She'd never seen an Atterian so defensive before.
She looked at him in alarm when he started unzipping his armor though and her eyes widened. "Xigbar!" She said, trying to stop him. He didn;t need to show then that didn't need to PROVE anything to that monster.
Terra growled, seeing the man get up once again. Neither looked really hurt but they were stunned. He glanced back towards Ventus seeing him cuddled in a corner, as if afraid. He turned back towards Xigbar seeing him back on his feet and his fur bristled as he was accused of being a cannibal. Some did he would not lie... some like-
What did he mean he was a dud?! Terra snarled hearing Ventus reacting almost instantly and for a few short moments he worried about what was about to happen. And his expectations were met beautifully - and horrifically. He stood there silently as the man took off his coat and his jaw fell open in shock at the scars - ones he recognized as those from being mauled by a large beast. His tail drooped, swishing against the ground, ears flopping over. An Atterian had done that to-
He jumped back into alertness as the gun was once again aimed at him, but he no longer struck a defensive or offensive posec - even though he knew this man would not hesitate to shoot him. Revenge. Even if he hadn;t done it...
His yellow eyes narrowed, hearing the emphasis on 'you. This bastard was implying he leaves alone... without his charge. And the way he spooke was almost like he was attempting to turn Ventus... against him. In the corner of his eye he could see the blonde... shaking? With fear? "So your lumping us all together like we have no indiviuality. How HUMAN-like." He snapped. "Listen I don't know what your thinking but I came here to protect someone and regardless if you're going to stand in my way or not I am NOT leaving." This was the safest place Ven could be at this point. Here he could hopefully avoid detection for a little while longer... and he thought this world was peaceful. But to him possibly not.
"Tell me..." Terra said voice suddenly soft, not really wanting to know this answer but knew it was better if he did now rather then never. "Was the Atterian who attacked you a golden-eyed black leopard - called Hatori?"
Aqua's eyes narrowed, seeing the wolf's demmeanor suddenly change drastically as he asked about Hatori. She got to her feet, walking closer to Xigbar's side, her eyes narrowing on the wolf. What... did he think he was? A human? It seemed oddly like he was playing pretend in a wolf's body - trying to deceieve... just like the atterian before him had. They were nothing but tricksters and backstabbers.
