Of Fairytales and Blood Bonds

At the Throne Room, a man sat upon the thrown. He was covered in black from head to toe... only his long, white beard contrasted it all. Golden eyes opened as he heard the sounds of padding echo off the walls. He was bald... and old... but the dark power coming off him was the strongest in the room. In the castle.

At his side was a man all in black, red lining his torso. At his other side, a wolf with golden eyes.
The three watched the leopord approach and the man on the thrown grinned an evil grin.
"A Shee you said?" Finally... Mickey had screwed up. "Where?"


The room was filled with music and chatter, laughs and positive criticizing. Paper was being written all over on, note thrown down out of place but the writer knew exactly what each note was for. Tons and tons of notes were apparent or crossed out.
The ink too was dancing around the room and gently fell back into their containers when the music stopped.

For the past two days... the redhead couldn't of gotten any more distant.
As the teens wrote and bonded, the twenty-four year old imp sat at his spot in the window.
The sunset pressed on his features. His exotic eyes stood out as his face was serious. A paint brush was in his wet clothed finger and was writing in bright colors about the concert.

This... wasn't exactly what he had in mind...

When the ink danced close to him, he swiped the paintbrush over it, catching it and continued on with the posters. The one on the best piece of paper was made beautifully, but the other two were blunt and simple with a little design.
He sighed softly as he looked down at the last scroll, then out at the sunset.


The room was cool, the sound of candles flickering filled the room along with some writing.
Riku had lost the beautiful coat... but that meant nothing as long as the Shee was ok.
They had found another Inn to stay in for the two nights... this one ran by a nice man... and no tavern attached. However, that didn't mean that Riku didn't to to one to get a bottle of rum.

They would be leaving in the morning to the next port... there were many ships there... so they could manage one again.

This room had two beds, which was nice again. He padded down his shirt as he hung it up and put it away. They needed to buy some new clothes too.
"How about tomorrow we go shopping for new clothes. Get the happy Buccanneer some nice clothing for ventures ahead."


Ven leaned on the tub as he looked down at the three giggling.
"Oh boy! This is gonna be fine!"
"Exciting!"
"Excellent!"
"Most interesting." Ven added and the three giggled again. They stopped though and all looked at the boy. "Venny~ What's wrong? You haven't been acting the same lately!" Lock questioned.

Ven's blue eyes looked down, his fangs shifting in his frown. "I don't know... I just... haven't felt like scaring people lately."
"Aw, you just have the blues!" Shock screeched!
"Yea! We'll see you around!" Barrel added as the three suddenly dashed off.

Ven watched them and sighed. Unfortunately... when teen got the hint of sex.... it overcomes them. He shivered as he felt eyes on him... and...
"Augh.... not again..." He slowly got out of the tub and looked down slightly, feeling a poke. "You shouldn't wait up tub... they'll probably need you." He sighed as he headed back to the town.

[Reno]

The leopord rasied his head, looking up at the other. His tail curled around his body in silent excitement. "That disgusting land of pirates. Ah what was it called... Port Royal." His eyes had darkened somewhat the idea of once again chasing he Shee exciting him. He still had to pay those filthy beings back.

He was a leopord who had seen many many years... and many many species. He had ended up here probably completely on accident - yet his smell the blood to find creatures over great, great distances came in handy.

The man at his left dressed in all black and features hidden under some strange cintraption, shifting a ltitle, arms crossing as he glanced towards the man in the throne as if to say 'what would you like us to do?' He was mute for the most part but no one to mess with for he was the Master's doppelganger.


Roxas couldn't help but glance towards Axel as he sung a little bit depressed because the other didn't seem to be enjoying himself at all. He knew he had been messing around with the poor red-head two days ago, but that didn't mean he had to go and hide in a cupboard now.

The blonde broke off, not even getting to where they had been before.

"Roxas?" Demyx asked curiously. "Something wrong?" He was ready to go back and change some notes - it wouldn;t be the first time.

"I... think we should take a break." The blonde said suddenly, standing up slowly.

"oh, okay." The gypsy set aside his sitar, stretching his arms out trying to get the kink of out his body from sititng and writing music for hours and hours.

Soft footsteps made their presence known as they traveled across the rock floor... beind a certain red-head writing on a scroll. Blue eyes skimmed over it and finally he said, "It looks good." But secretly he was saying I miss you.


Sora glanced up from his writing in his messy and damaged logbook. He smiled. "Yeah thats a good idea!" The room was small yet cozy and this time they had more room then their last. And even better it was CLEAN.

Sora wasn't always a clean-freak mind you. He loved being dirty but he hated having his surrondings disorganized and dirty. He set down his book, stretching out onto the bed.

"What type of ship should we steal this time?" He teased.


Terra got to his feet as Ven started to walk back. He jumped from the hill and walked after him at a leisurely pace. He kept his distance from the blonde, and it was almost enough so that Ven wouldn't even be able to detect him. but he knew the blonde knew he was otu there somewhere watching and waiting.

He'd already screwed up once... he wasn;t going to do it again. not even if it killed him.

Why do I care so much...? He thought to himself. It was... unfathomable at times. Ven wasn't his friend exactly he was just some brat he promsied to take care of. He shook his ehad from that thought, knowing it could lead to disaster if he wasn;t careful with it.

"Port Royal?" He repeated, his gloved hand coming up and stroking his beard. Now why would a Shee be in a place like that? It wasn't exactly the safest place. And... it wasn't even in the connection they were in. They were in Connection 2... and just starting to search it.

How could Mickey be so careless as to having a drop of blood fall?

Something wasn't adding up.
"Perhaps... the Shee is alone." No... that didn't sound right either. His golden eyes closed in thought for a few moments. When he opened them again, he nodded. "You go." The looked at the leopard and then down at the wolf. "You too. Find out where the Shee is... and report back here with an image."


Axel dabbed in the last touches and nodded slightly. That would do. He blinked though as he heard a familiar voice that was finally talking to HIM. His head shifted only slightly, the corner of his eyes catching Roxas's. "Thanks..." He said softly as he looked back at the scroll, laying it down with the other and letting the wet cloth splash down into the jar of water.

He sat up and glanced at Demyx who was still relaxing somewhat. Slowly he turned his head to Roxas. "I'm sorry... about everything...."


Riku smiled as he slowly, and carefully, walked to his bed and sat down. He pulled off his boots and put them to the side. "Maybe we should just buy one." He said softly before laying down, still facing Sora. "Besides... I've already gotten you into way more trouble than we're suppose to be in. Just being in this world... wasn't very safe."

He yawned softly and shook his head. "I have the munny to buy us a nice ship. The rule is... I cannot let a drop of your blood hit this earth... if it be ground, rock... or water."


Ven slowly walked through the town, obviously hearing pads far off behind him. And just to think.... their relationship was finally going well. It was a nice thought to have a wolf... creature for a pet... er.... guardian... but now... he didn't know...

He opened the creaky gates to the house and slowly walked up the stairs. A skeleton key opened the door and walked into the crooked house. The rats had become less noisy... ever since what had happened to their friend. Terra eventually at him...
He left the front door open a crack so Terra could let himself in... when he walked to.

He trekked up the crooked stairs and into the bedroom. Glowing eyes weren't under his bed... so the monster was somewhere else for the night. That was... good.
Ven closed the door with a flick of his finger, not carrying if it closed tight

He kicked off his shoes and socks, pulling off his jacket and let it all fall on the ground.
He whimpered softly and got on top his bed.
He sat Indian style for a few minutes until... he slowly lowered his hand and unzipped his pants. He pushed them down slowly, only to reveal something looking up at him. He blushed as he bit his lip.

Slowly, white claws reached down and wrapped around his own member, moaning softly at the feel. His hand started to gently stroke and more blush ran over his cheek.
"It... it's not the same...." He whispered...

The leopord's ears twitched and he nodded once. "Yes master." He said simply. He glanced towards the wolf silently. working with himw as always... mmm nerve-wrecking. Because he remidned him of someone he left ehind long ago.

He wasn't sure if it bothered him to of left his son to his own devices or not. He knew that worthelss mother of his wasn;t taking care of him anymore, hadnl;t eben since he was still a pup.

Then again he was probably dead by now. Atterians were cruel, cruel creatures. Anyone different from them got eliminated. And his son... was definitely different.

He flicked his tail at the wolf, looking at him as he came down the stairs to emet him and udner their master;s orders they left in a black portal.


Roxas looked at him and then suddenly smiled beautifully. "You can stop apologizing Axel." He sat down in front of the imp just looking up at him for a few moments then sighed. "It's be so much better if you could enjoy the music again though. It gives me lots of inspiration."

He opened his mouth as if to continue saying soemthing when... when SOMEthing rushed through him. He tesed, shuddering suddenly. Why...?

He placed his hand up and overr his charm, eyes seeming to glaze over as he got lost. "Sora...?" He whispered. Why did his older brother suddenly... feel so panicked? And scared? How... was he even FEELING that!


Sora smiled shaking his head. "riku buying a ship is so expensive!" He chastised. Besides stealing it was a lot funner. His chuckled softly as the other continued to talk. Ah the world wasn;t that dange-

"or water."

Ut oh. The smile fell and Sora sat up, suddenly panicked. "W-what?" He stuttered, eyes wide. "Water... WATER COUNTS?!" He supposed it was time to tell Riku then.

He grabbed onto the silverette's shoulders, shaking then furiously. "Riku when we abanded the ship and fell into the water... I got cut!"


Terra followed after, slipping through the gate and pausing upon the door to the house. The clsoed in space kept in the scents, the smell of raging horomones becoming very clear to him suddenly. It had happened yesterday too.

His nose twitched, hearing a soft noise coming from down the stairs. He looked away, laying his body down outside on the porch, not wanting to intervene with the blonde's... activities. He felt perverted being close enough to listen though.

But he still had to protect Ven right?

But, he had a right to privacy. Terra stood, walking off the porch suddenly.

He wished this was easier for him to understand. The shee;s dieals were so different from his own. Some of the more curious being that of frienship, family... and love. He didn'd have family... and his friends were pretty short... and love.

Ha, don't get him started on love. It was a disgusting emotion.

The wolf looked up, nasty scars running down his face in the shape of an 'X'. He nodded once and slowly turned back to the leopard. They weren't close... hardly even bothered to speak to one another. There was no reason to.

Slowly the wolf got up and walked down the stairs, seeing a portal open and walked into it with the other.

The bald man smiled. "We'll still be on the chase... but once they are located... that is where you come in." He seemed to be talking to himself. As in... his shadow.

The wolf's paws hit the moist ground of the port. It was dark and dreary but his golden eyes pierced through it like a hot knife through butter. His eyes looked around as his nose picked up on... disgusting things. He growled but looked towards the leopard. He would have to led the way.


Axel blinked when the blonde grew randomly cheerful. He blushed... it was nice... having the blonde talk to him again. "Y-yea?" He asked as he felt goosebumps run up and down him. For a minute there, he actually thought he was abandoned. "I-I'll listen then!" He said happily. If he made Roxas happy... he could get a gift!

His smile turned serious though as Roxas stopped. He saw the motion to the necklace and tensed. "Roxas?" This... wasn't good. What was going on?


Riku blinked as he heard Sora suddenly snap... and before he could say anything... He was pulled up and shaken.
His blind eyes went wide. "WHAT!? SORA!" He cried. "You need to tell me these things!"
He suddenly got up and frowned, looking down at the brunette.
"We need to get off this world."

He suddenly pressed his palm out, a black portal appearing. He gripped the boy's arm and frowned, pulling him towards it. He could feel the jerk... Sora was grabbing his log. "Hurry! Forget everything else!"


Blush filled Ven's face as he continued to pump himself.... but it seemed to be going nowhere...
That was when...
"Ah!...." He looked down at his pendant and tensing. "S-sora?" He pulled his hand away and panted. Something.... something was wrong.

He got up, shivering a bit as he pulled his pants back up and zipped them.
"TERRA! TERRA!" He quickly left the room, rushing down the stairs and almost falling. He looked around then went outside, seeing the large beast.
"Some---something's wrong."
He panted as the symbol around his next started to glow.

The dark man beside him nodded silently, knowing exactly what he meant. They really did need words to communicate... because it was like talking to yourself... but the Dark Knight never minded.


The leopord walked out onto the musty world, nose twitching at the awful smell of the ocean. It wasn't a habitat he liked. He liked rian forests or deserts.

He and the wolf shared a quiet understanding and the leopord rasied his head taking a whiff of the air. He caught onto Shee scent almost immediately, recognizing it from all those years ago,...

He took off suddenly, heavy paws barely making a sound on the ground. He heard the wolf shift as he mvoed to follow and the two were racing across the port towards where the wolf could smell the otherworldy species... a species that should have been extinct but wasn't.

It led him to a long building that he took to be an inn almost immediately. He slowed down, taking another whiff before hurrying towards where his nose led him. He paused outside a window easily seeing through the glass and into the room. There were two of them. A brunette he strangely felt familar with as if his looks were recognizable. The other seemed to be a blind silver-haired man. The brunette was being tugged through a portal much like the one he and the wolf took to get here, but the brunette seemed reluctant, turning around to grab something...

and their eyes met. The leopord snarled his yellow eyes suddenly turning red. That one... looked almost like the one that ahd taken his eye so many years ago. The brunette inside seemed to panic and with a yank was dragged through. But that was okay he had the image Xehaniort wanted. Afterall their purpose wasn;t to kill the Shee... not yet.


Roxas shook a bit, his hand curling around his X-pendant. It warmed under his fignertips, glowing lightly, "He... Sora... somethings wrong with Sora!!" He shut his eyes tightly, feeling his connection expand. The panic rose to an almost indescribable height. He started to breathe hard, feeling like something was squeezing his heart.

Demyx's attention was brought forth when he heard Roxas' yell. He sat up and his eyes widened seeing the blonde was... hypervenilating? "W-Whoa!" He jumped from the bed rushing over to the littler blonde's side. He knew Axel couldn't touch him. He put a steadying hand on the blonde;s shoulder but something was wrong with his eyes. they seemed to be... yellow?

He looked at Axel panicked. He had known him longer. "What's wrong with him?!" He had to know right? Demyx didn't know what to do!


Sora looked down ashamed when he got chastised. He opened and shut his mouth, knowing there wasn't time for apologizes. Not yet. He gave a noise of surprise as Riku yanked him up. "W-Wait!" He called, resisting the tug and turned, reaching out for the ruined book he was just getting ahold of it when he saw something out of the corner of his eye, making him freeze.

He turned his head, seeing two pairs of yellow eyes looking in from the window... and then suddenly one pair turned blood red. Terror shot through the brunette. "RIKU!" He screamed in fear. The silverette couldn't see it but he understood the insistent and scared tone. The next tug was harsh and Sora followed it instantly. The book slipped from his grasp, hitting the ground of the inn floor, lost forever.

Sora didn't take notice of what world they walked into next. his own eyes had turned bright orange. His own pendant was glowing, as if sending signals to his brothers. He was shaking all over with fear. His breath was coming in quick, uneven pants. Ever since this whoel thing began... the terror and danger he was in... it hadn't seemed real. Didn't feel like it.

Now he knew it was real. It never felt more real... or terrifying. "Riku..." He choked out.


Terra was just getting ready to lay down in a patch of springy gray grass when the yells of his Shee drew his attention. He turned seeing him rush from the house, looking panicked. The wolf came to attention almost immediately, but he couldn;t help but wonder what he emant by soemthing's wrong.

With what? His poor masturbation skills?

He knew that wasn't it though. Especally after the charm around the other's neck began to glow. His ears fell, tail swooping between his legs. "What is? With who?" He asked, needing clarification.

The wolf's tail swayed in the damp coldness of the air, but that quickly stopped as he dashed out after the leopard. They seemed to be only made of darkness now... so it seemed as if they were just wisps as they ran. Smaller paws followed the larger to a building that looked like an inn of some sorts.

Their run turned into a trot as they walked around the back to a window that was lighted by candle. The black wolf smelled the air as the leopard looked through the window. The cries made him look up, seeing the other creature's eyes go red. He growled as his tail wagged more... but when they returned yellow, he tilted his head.

Slowly he walked to the window, only seeing the portal close. So... they could teleport too?
"Better report back."
Another dark portal appeared behind them.


The silverette tugged one last time. It was harsh and cruel... but it had to be done for the safety of the Shee.
Port Royal was not the brightest idea. It was tough and dangerous. He should of known better. He now needed to bring the Shee where there was NO danger at all.... and he knew the perfect place.

The silverette stepped out of the portal and looked around. It was a room that was messed with books of all kinds. Things were thrown around but had some aspects that were tidy. He shook his head, hearing the calls of the terrified Shee but he pulled him close as he headed for a book stand. There was a single book on it... it was closed with a clasp over it to keep it that way.

One hand left the Shee and unclasped it, opening it up slowly.
"H-hey! You! Stop! Get away from there!"
A voice called from behind as a bright light peered out of the book onto the man in black with a terrified boy in his arms.
Riku only looked back slowly at an old man who was rushing towards them... but by the time he reached the spot they were standing... the two were gone.

The two reappeared on a hill with a large tree on it. Slowly the man laid the boy down against the tree and knelled down in front of him. "Sora..." He said softly as a hand reached up, rubbing the boy's cheek. They were now in the clothes that they left Akbar in... no longer in their pirate outfits.
"Sora... it's safe here... the safest place I know of. You'll be ok. They're gone now..." He slowly pulled the boy into an embrace.

That... was too close.


Axel's eyes narrowed and he growled. Something was wrong with the other Shee. Sora....
Riku....
If anything happened... he and Terra would know... or... would they? Were they too far apart now?
He glanced at Demyx but quickly back at Roxas. The pendent... it was glowing?

So... Sora was defense right? He was warning his brothers?
Roxas was majick...
Ven was offense...
"Roxas.... calm down, Sora's ok!" Damnit... if he couldn't touch the Shee... how was he suppose to calm him down? Most humans were touchy feely.

He looked around and quickly grabbed the wash cloth in the jar of water and soaked both his hands. They reached up and cold, wet hands were placed on the Shee's cheeks. Green eyes looked into blue. "Roxas..."


The pendant glowed more as Ven's eyes started to turn yellow. The boy started to gasp and stumble a bit. His heart... felt like it was going to get smashed. "Sora!"

The boy suddenly stumbled pass the wolf like creature and fell to his knees. He panted more, totally forget about everything that was going on before.
His teeth clenched as his hands made fist in the ground. His eyes pressed down tightly as he growled in pain.
Someone.... something was hurting Sora!

Suddenly the place where Ven's spine was started to glow a bright light.
Ven's eyes shop open, the yellow eyes looking down in pain as he felt his back start to split open. His skin cracked open... but no blood came out. It seemed like... the skin already knew what it was like.
The light formed out and started to shape into something.

When the light was gone... the small bat wings of the Halloween outfit was gone... but now in its place were wings. Wings like one would see in a story book... on fairies. Their shape was exotic and the colors looked like they were on fire.

[Reno]

A tail slinked back and forth proudly, a red tongue sweeping up across his lips, the look hungry. He had gotten to see the Shee and now that it's image was implanted in his memory, it would make finding the brat so much easier. Xehanort was going to be thrilled.

It was no wonder they had been having so much trouble. That damn mouse of a king must of sealed up their powers. They had no wings, so their enegies couldn't be felt from farther distances. He heard the wolf's notion from beside him. Go back already hm? Well they had done their job.

The leopord nodded, turning around, when a backlash swept over the world. He froze, ears twitching and turning his head towards the stars. It was a backlash wave of energy... from a planet nearby. There was only one type of creature that could surmise enough energy to have it travel through space. A Shee. Another one? Or a new one? "Did you feel that?"


Sora flinched when he heard someone yelling but before he could really respond Riku was pulling him forth once more. His mind was taking this all in at the same time it was taking nothing at all. Later he'd be amazed that he and Riku were walking INTO a book. Later he'd be shocked of the world inside...

But right now all he felt was fear. His legs shook as he was guided against a tree and the moment he felt Riku's arms around him he reached up curling his fingers into the other's long jacket, burying his head into the other's neck, brown spikes tickling against Riku's skin. He heard the other trying to reassure him and slowly he started to breath easier. He shivered taking in deep breaths of air, hot breath warming Riku's throat.

His eyes slid open slowly and he murmured softly. "I'm sorry... I'm really sorry I didn't mean to..." He put them in danger. He put RIKU in danger... and that... made him feel worse. "And... here all i'm doing is shaking like a scared little kitten." Sora whispered bitterly, close to tears of anger at himself.

But... he had felt it. felt something dark ghosting off of those creatures outside his window... it wasn't like the darkness that surronded Riku which was in fact cold yet in a strange way comforting - this darkness was biting and bloodthristy and terrifyingly suffocating.

How were they supposed to fight that?

His orange-like eyes widened suddenly, feeling a backlash of power from... "Ven..." He whispered. It was powerful yet heartwarming, and suddenly his ehart just calmed down as if his brother was right there next to him, standing in front of the closet bravely to fight off the monsters in the closet just like he had done for him and Roxas years ago.


Sora who was Sora? Demyx's head tilted, unsure of WHAT was going on he just knew it was bad. He had a feeling he knew less about Roxas and Axel then he had at first thought. Somehow... he had a feeling their was a secret going on here that went deeper then Axel's impish features or Roxas strange otherworldliness. Roxas' eyes were YELLOW for god's sake. That was NOT normal.

Roxas shook, finger curling around the pendant and squeezing, hard enough to feel the pain but light enough to keep from splitting the skin open. He breathed unsteadily feeling Demyx's hands on his shoulders...

and then cold wetness slapped across his face drawing his attention instantly. He looked up at emerald green eyes, hearing his words suddenly... and just like that he began to feel some sort of... reassurance from Sora. His eldest brother seemed to be calming down.

Roxas reached up, figners curling around the backs of Axel's hands for reassurance. He breathed slowly wishing Axel wasn't some sort of eternal bonfire... because all he wanted to do was fall uinto the redhead's arms and never leave. He sighed, shutting his eyes slowly. He could feel something more violent wafting off of Ven now though.

What... was that?


"Ven!!" Terra cried in panic as the blonde fell turning to go to the other's side... but was frozen in place as the other's back started glowing. He gasped, golden eyes widening as wings burst from the other's back. Beautiful and fiery like the boy's temperment. He'd never seen anything so stunning.

The bacjlash of power made him fall to his haunches, crouching so low to the ground he felt his stomach brushing the grass. His tail fell inbetween his legs and his ears flattened and he couldn't help the small spark of fear that ran into his heart. Fear of what - whther it be Ven or the realization that the other's seal had broken and soon theyd be discovered as well - he was not sure.

They were something stunning to see. And the wolf slowly padded forward, walking around the wings to get into Ven's personal space. He pressed his body against the other's side trying to offer some level of comfort. "He's okay Ven." He murmured softly. "Riku won't let anything happen to Sora..."

The wolf slowly started to make his way to the portal when he stopped too. He growled, looking at the stars at about the same time as the leopard. His golden eyes looked to his partner and nodded. "I did." Slowly the portal closed as the wolf moved to a more open space.

He looked up at the stars again and closed his eyes. The 'X' on his face started to glow red as visions ran through his head. Unfortunate, the 'X' was ironic as in 'X marks the spot'. He could find the presence of power... but wasn't good with blood...

In his thoughts, he could see a dark world with crooked and scary things...
His golden eyes opened as a grin appeared on his face.
"Halloween Town."
Another portal opened next to them. This one... leading to the world. He quickly jumped in and appeared in the odd world.

He was next to an odd hill that... seemed to curl... but that was the least of his worries. He had found the scent of power. It was close...


Riku's body seemed to tense when he felt the soft touches on neck. He shivered softly but frowned as the Shee pulled away. He felt the anger rush from him and shook his head. "Don't beat yourself up... it's not time to fight. We're your guardians... we have to fight for you. You... cannot put yourself in danger."

He wasn't able to see the other's eyes widen, but he felt the boy calm. When he heard the other's Shee's name, he frowned. Was... a chain reaction going on? He feared for Terra.... Ven wasn't the easiest kid...


Axel smiled softly as he felt the hands on his own. They weren't able to touch much.. but when they did... it seemed to make the imp's heart melt. The Shee was calming and that was what mattered. The yellow in his eyes were still apparent... something was still up.


Ven panted as the new wings seemed to be heavy, his muscles getting use to the feel. When they did... they flapped a little, red and yellow specs of light fluttering.
His eyes were still bright and yellow but his pain seemed to stop as he felt the wolf's body on him.

He swallowed and looked at Terra but suddenly, his eyes grew fearful and shot out towards the town entrance.
"They're.... here...."

The leopord quickly followed after the wolf, stepping through the portal as well. He caught the scent of power as well and his ears twitched, following it instantly. He didn't need to make orders already knowing that the wolf would follow.

However something was disturbing him. This scent... held another that was strikingly familar to him. The world around him was dark and damp, as if light had never touched it. It made his fur bristle and stand on end.

But the minute he saw the reddish glow he knew they had found the Shee. And it's guardian. A guardian who he knew more intamiately then he'd like to admit. It was a wolfen creature with horns and sharp golden eyes like his own. He uttered the animal's name and the young wolf seemed to panic, and like the silverette before him, dragged his Shee into a protal and disappeared.


Sora shut his eyes, wishing he could see his brothers right now. "Ven..." He whispered again, feeling the trill of fear running through him again but it wasn't his own. "They found him!" He cried suddenly.

He didn't care what Riku said. He wanted to fight too. Wanted to be able to protect his brothers like an older brother should! But he was worlds away... and the only thing between Ven and certain doom... was Terra.

Please... Please be okay He prayed.


Roxas eyes slid shut tightly, feeling the fear as well. It wasn;t as strong as Sora's had been - Ventus had always been the braver one and maybe somewhere deep isndie this sceanrio had been expected... they were being found.

Demyx frowned, rubbing Roxas' back, trying to help comfort him like the red-head was. He didn;t know why. Truthfully they had convinced him into 'being; their friends... more like a personal servant and had basically been kidnapped into staying here or else he's have some unforgivable curse on him...

But the blonde just had too good of a heart on him to hold grudges or wish for someone's pain. No one desereved that...


Terra felt it even before the blonde said it. He growled, his lips pulling back and revealed shining teeth. He knew it would happen though. his and Riku's worlds had been too close - an error in judgement really. There was no way that wave of power COULDN'T be felt.

Now he had to find a new world... one that would be able to hide the Shee's power until they could do something about it;s immensity. They hadf to get farther away... somewhere were the world acted like a natural barrier. And he knew the perfect place.

"Come on we have to go." A portal appeared beside them and Terra nundged the blonde, trying not to let his horns touch him. But the other wasn't moving exceptionally fast. They'd have to work on that later...

"Terra."

The voice made him freeze and yellow eyes glanced back, seeing to his horror that they had indeed been found. But that wasn't what made his tail fall between his legs and curl under him in an almost submissive pose. It was... the leopord who had called his name.

Oh shit... Overcome by panic Terra gave a howl and without a thought, snapped his teeth around the cloth of the front of Ven's shirt and yanked him into the portal, following after without a pause. Like Riku is was harsh and cruel but there was no time to argue or be kind. They had to get away NOW!

The wolf quickly grew chase pass the tombstones and through the iron gate. His small paws caught onto brick as they entered a town that had orange lights all over it. He turned and ran pass a guillotine towards another set of iron gates.
That's when he saw it.

The powerful wings of a Shee.

His yellow eyes narrowed as he looked next to the boy. Another... wolf like creature. He bared his fangs out as well... but the moment the leopard said a name, the wolf grabbed a hold of the boy so violently, it even shocked the other. A pretty careless why to treat a Shee.
"That makes two." There was one left...


Riku's eyes widened as he heard the other. "Calm down. Terra will bring him somewhere safe." It was a foolish mistake on his part to pick close worlds... but he was worried the more split they were... well... who knows.

He brought the boy into an embrace again, his pale fingers running through the brunette hair. "Everything will be ok." He hoped... Mickey was seeing this. They were getting... too close.


Axel frowned as he saw his hands start to dry under the heat of the world and slowly, and reluctantly, pulled away.
"At least you're safe Roxas... and I'm sure the guardians are taking good care of the others too." He didn't want to say too much with Demyx around. The man must of thought they were crazy... but he, as a guardian, couldn't give out details on this whole thing.


Ven shook as he felt the darkness coming closer. So fast he didn't know what to do.
That... was when he saw the three yellow eyes. His own yellow eyes widened as his heart caught.
Fangs grew in the dark at them... and he knew right away... this wasn't a scare like most in Halloween Town. This... was real.

The boy was too scared and shocked to move... all he could do was scream. He screamed even louder as he felt something tug violently on his shirt was tug... and was pulled into darkness once more.

[Reno]

His son... what was his son doing here? And protecting a Shee no less!! Didn't he know it was the Shee's fault that they were like this? The leopard's ears twitched and he nodded slowly in agreement, putting the thoguhts aside for now.

Even worse was the fact that, though Axel and Roxas didn't know it, Agrabah was so incredibly close to Halloween Town... that it was easy to find the last trail.

The magic from Ven must of ghosted off and covered his two siblings, sticking to them like glue and shining out like a lighthouse in the dark stormy seas. And it was all too easy for both of them to feel it.

The leopard moved and a new protal appeared. He nodded to the wolf and walked through.


Sora but onto his lip, moving a bit and wrapped his arms around Riku's neck, snugglign in close. He needed to feel safe somehow... "Riku..." He whispered, needing the other to distract him. "Why do they want our blood? what will they do with it?"


Roxas nodded slowly, lowering his head and running his fingers through them. However his eyes widened and he looked up, feeling something fall voer them that chilled his very heart. "A-Axel..." he stuttered, looking at him in panic. Did he feel ti too?

Demyx was in fact very very lost. He had no idea what the two were talking about... however wqhen roxas suddenly became frightened he knew why. He felt it too. though he didn;t udnerstand wehat it was...

It felt much like the time long ago when he had been in a forest and was being chased by a wild boar, unsure if he was even going to make it out alive. that terror of being hunted, that cold chilling realization that you were weaker then your opponent and were about to be mauled... he knew it well.


Terra tugged him through the dark uncertainty of the darkness and when they were on the other side he let Ven go tentatively, knowing he had scared the other at the abruptness of the move. Around them was darkness, cold bluish stone under their feet. The half-moon illuminated the sky but not enough to be of any help. However the sound of the ocean was very prominent around them... as if they were surronded by it. soemthing veyr ancient permeated this world - soemthing ancient yet still alive. And the power of the world tempered Ventus' insane energy almost masking it completely from detection - and if one didn;t look twice they'd enver find them.

the wolf disregarded it for now. He nuzzled Ven's side carefully. "Are you okay?" He asked worriedly.

The wolf saw the pause in the leopard's movement but he slowly turned around, looking at a close star shinning. Another? He felt it. Why were the guardians so stupid in bringing them to three close worlds? Sure... split them... but.... maybe they were stupid...

The chase was on.

He nodded as another portal was open and quickly hurried after the other.


Riku sighed softly as he held the boy under starry sky. The stars were bright here... and many white noises could be heard like crickets and soft owls. They... wouldn't be found here...
He shook his head as he held the boy closer.

"Shee's... are the most powerful creatures in the universe. The power runs in their blood. One drop of blood can power very strong spells. Power turns into greed... and whoever these dark forces are... they are the second most powerful creatures... because they slaughtered all the Shee's.... except three. They want you blood... so they can be the most powerful... and claim this universe as theirs. As long as you three still live... there will be peace in the worlds. You hold the balance you see.... that's why.... I can't let anything happen to you."

He slowly pulled the boy away and rubbed the other's face, his blind eyes dim in the darkness. "I wouldn't let anything happen to you anyways.... Shee or not."


Axel sighed as his heart started to calm down... but it quickly got a shock of darkness through it. His narrow eyes widened too as he felt what Roxas was.
That was when he heard Roxas.
He suddenly stood and soaked his hands real good before something startling happened.

A black portal appeared on the rooftops and the two creatures walked out. They didn't have to sniff to much... because they could already see above... a redhead.
He was a guardian...
Quickly the wolf rushed over the roofs and gave one large jump into the air.

A loud scratching and snarl filled the small one room home, making four blue eyes and two green ones looked back in horror as a black wolf with hungry yellow eyes pulled itself up the window sill. It snarled finally caught his footing.

"GET BACK!" Axel grabbed Roxas's hand and pulled him and Demyx back against the wall. A long black nail reached out and pointed at the wolf. "Don't you dare take another step!"


Ven fell to the ground and panted, fear still going through him. It was a masked fear... knowing that Roxas was found... they were all.... found.
He shook as he felt the nuzzled, suddenly jumping up and wrapping his arms around the wolf's neck. He buried his face into the fur and sobs silently.

Slowly... the fierce wings started to dim and seem to disappear.

His blue, watery eyes looked out as he sniffed. Terra... had saved him. "W-where are we?"

Sora listened to the other quietly, trying not to flinch when he felt Ven's fear dim and Roxas' flare up. They had found him too?! They... weren't safe anymore were they? And... and now Ven felt... so very far away.

But something Riku said caught his attention, bringing his dark thoughts away. He looked up at Riku. he would... protect him even if he WASN'T... a Shee? Why? "Riku..." He whispered softly, reaching up, cupping his hand around the other's.

there was something he didn't understand. Riku was... lost in darkness so to speak, his sight gone yet... yet he was so sweet and kind and protective. The silverette was hardly ever cold or cruel... he was a real guardian and a real friend. Didn't THAT show all the true qualities of someone who could see the light?


At the snarl all three drew their eyes towards the window. demyx gave a shriek of terror, never having seen such a creature before. Roxas just stared in silence, too shocked and afraid to make a noise. The darkness poured into their ltitle home, making it almost impossible to breathe.

He felt the tug though and suddenly he was yanked back. Skinny arms of the blonde wrapped around him, bringing him close and he wasn't sure if Demyx was hugging him to be protective or just because he was scared.

Roxas stared past the red-head who was standing in front of them like a guardian was meant to, straight at the wolf. He was nothing like Terra. Terra was sleek and yet bulky, and the horns made him look strange and unnatural yet his demeaner was kind and almost... cuddly. This wolf had an X-shaped scar over it;s face, was big and bulky, and with a jaw that looked like it was used more for snapping off entire arms then just causing deadly bites.

"A-Axel..." Roxas squeaked in terror. He... he was afraid but for once not for himself. This time he was afraid... that he was about to watch his best friend get killed. The wolf seemed to regard heeding Axel's warning and suddenly pounced forward. "AXEL!!!" Roxas screamed yellow eyes brightening and suddenly his pendant glew and the sound of soemthign snapping was almost audible. A seal...

Hatori who had yet to jump through the window because Saix had been in the way, waited out on the roof. When he saw Saix jump however he got ready to go inside as well - when suddenly bright white light shimmered from inside, bursting out like a star. Inside the house it was even worse, bright yet warm ghosting over all four occupants in an almost protective way. Except, even though it felt warm, it almost felt suffocating for the attacker at least. The light seemed to wrap around him and squeeze and squeeze and squeeze, all the bones of his body giving a violent pain.

When the light died down, Demyx had slumped against the wall, his hands over his eyes to block out the light. He squinted, glancing out between his fingers and gasped at the new sight.

Roxas stood silently against the wall, the sound of something soft and velty ghosting against the walls making itself known. If one were to look back at him, they'd see the exotic and breathtaking black and white wings fluttering behind him, almost naturally as if Roxas had always had them... His eyes were a dim yellow and they looked from Axel... to something laying on the floor.

But it was no longer a wolf. It was a smaller creature, still with the shape of a wolf but with the appearence of one that had just left the nest and was beginning to learn how to hunt. A wolf PUP. Roxas... had turned back time.


Terra curled around the other as he hugged him, trying to offer as much comfort as he could. His tail brushed against the other's legs. "It's okay..." He murmured softly. "We're safe." He looked at the other's back, watching as the wings slowly started to disperse. The light that had ghosted fromt them disappeared, surronding them in the darkness.

His ears twitched when the other asked his question. "It's called Dragoon." He murmured softly. "The world is covered with dragons. Most of them are centuries old and their ancient energies will help mask yours since it's still youthful." After all, the seal spell had been that of ancient magic, something Terra couldn't cast - only that off the Mickey caliber could cast such a spell...

and now that the Shee's powers had matured the spell probably wouldn't even be powerful enough anymore. They'd have to be extra careful about outbursts of magic or they;d be found really easily.

Terra looked around. they were sitting on what seemed to be an inlet of land - the mainland further off. the waves of water he was hearing was definietly the ocean, he could see the water gleaming in the dark light. Around them were large towers of rocks that curled like teeth, and the inlet almost appeared like a ebast trying to swallow them. the wolf's head turned, seeing a thin uprised bit of land connecting the mainland and the inlet. They would have to cross it to get there. "We need to get over there."

He glanced at Ven, knowing the other was probably exhuasted from the sudden revealing of his powers. He nodded. "Get on." He said indicating for Ven to get onto his back. He'd carry him there if he had to. they just couldn;t stay out here. the biting cold of the ocean breeze was even making him shiver.

The silverette smiled softly and shook his head, pulling away from the brunette. "Come on... we should get some sleep."
He slowly pulled off his long, black coat.... revealing some interesting clothes underneath. It looked like clothes that an average young adult would wear.

He pulled the Shee close and wrapped the coat around him like a blanket. He knew there was no way they would be able to FIT in any of the houses here... so the outside would have to do for now. Besides... it was comfortable and calm on this world.

Riku laid down and let Sora use his stomach for a pillow. As the brunette seemed to nestled into him, a hand wrapped around the Shee's shoulder... as a protective feel.


The wolf seemed to grin at the imp. Who did he think he was? So he was the guardian of this Shee... that didn't mean anything. He could be easily taken down. The wolf jumped, about to sink his fangs into the guardian's neck to easily take him down... but with one shout from the Shee, his yellow eyes widened as light hit him.

A horrible howl filled the room as the light burst out and escaped through the window, heeding off any other danger.

Axel closed his eyes but his wet hand still grabbed tightly around the Shee's arm.

When the light dimmed and dispersed, the imp opened is eyes slowly, blinking to see right. His vision... only saw... a wolf.... pup? He gasped a bit. How as... that even possible? Did... did Roxas turn back time?
"Their powers are so powerful... some or even unknown."
He was kinda glad that he wasn't turned into a little kid again.

The little pup slowly stood on his wobbly feet. He shook himself out but caught something in the corner of his eye. What was that? He turned and there it was again. He was going to get it!
Suddenly the black wolf pup that was going to KILL them a second ago... was now chasing his tail and yipping happily.

Axel blinked and raised a brow. "Oook...."
He tensed though as he felt a darkness still close by. He sighed but shook his head, a dark portal appearing near the bed. "He have to go, Roxas." He looked back, his eyes widening as he saw the wings. They...really did have wings....
He shook it off and sighed again. Roxas was so excited about the concert... He didn't want to take him away.

But... he had an amazing idea.
One that... he didn't like a first... but now that he thought about it... it was really.... perfect.
The Shee was still in a daze so the redhead had to pull him towards the portal quickly. He pushed the Shee in first, looking back at Demyx before he went in himself.

He didn't have to protect Demyx... but the blonde was his friend. If he wanted to follow... he would have to be quickly to follow.


Ven smiled at the warmth, not even feeling the coldness from the world. He looked around and sighed, seeing only ocean and rock around them.
"Dragons...?" He whispered. Now... there was no way he was going to believe in dragons... Ugh.... why the hell not. For fuck sakes... he was a fucking FAIRY.

He looked up, hearing Terra offer his back. He nodded slowly and reached up, pulling himself over the dog and laying on his back. He hoped he wasn't too heavy... but as the beast started to walk... he figured it wasn't so bad.
