Of Fairytales and Blood Bonds

All eyes were automatically drawn to Axel's enormously awesome display. Roxas grinned a bit feeling the same sensation as Ven was, kind of like someone was running a feather down his shoulder blades. His body tensed a little - strange he hadn't felt that the FIRST time Axel changed... He had to say though it was still cool watching the change - scary but cool.

And because all eyes were turning towards Axel - they completely missed Riku's disappearing act, until Ven pointed it out of course. Sora gasped a bit. That was amaizng he had no idea riku had such skill (of coruse he thought the sivlerette had merely slipped away and hid somewhere, getting ready for a sneka attack, which wasn't technically INcorrect.) Unlike his brothers Sora felt nothing in regards to the high levels of magic rushing over the small world.

A soft chuckled and another rush of magic made roxas look towards the third of the guardians. Terra had a ruthless smile on his face, a yellow glow surronding him momentarily before slipped off him like water and rippling across the ground. It disappeared seconds later and roxas was baffled. what had... that done?

Terra bared his teeth as the yellow glow left - the sense spell rushing across the ground quickly and seeking out the silverette he already knew to be hiding - his eyes however stayed on the flaming imp (no pun intended). He smirked maliciously. "This the best you two got?"

His tail skirted across the ground and he wasted no time - "Sandstorm." He called and sudden violent winds whipped up around Axel, collecting the dirt at his feet along with some sand of the desert - dampering the flames. While Axel was busy dealing with the attack he twisted, rushing towards were his sense spell and personal land instincts through the vibrations told him Riku was. "No hiding from me." Riku wasn't the only one with dark pwoers - but he knew that.

When he had first charged Riku in that form he had learned quickly though what a mistake it was. The silverette was quite cunning... while Axel was just explosive. Never a good combination.


Demyx chuckled as the other licked him, watching idly as the other swam off. He shook his head going back to the music, humming again along with the melody - yet Puppy's barks were interuppting his concentration and rythmn. "Hush pup." He called - but the wolf didn't.

He frowned, glancing over, about the chsastise him again when his eyes widened. A black... portal. Just like the one that had taken him here but... "puppy!" He called in alarm, swimming over, snatching the wolf and hugging him to his chest.

There was only one person he had seen conjure up that form of transporation before - the biggest trickstor he ever did see. Yet... even somehow he still felt the ominious presence of... something real bad swarming from it. "A-Axel..." Demyx stuttered, holding his puppy close as he swam backwards. "Axel quit it.... that's not funny! You promised you;d stop!" He didn't get any answer though...

"D-didn't the king say not to use the portal?" He questioned aloud, trying to rosue the hidden red-head - or praying thats who was in there just up to his old impish ways again. He didn't actually expect the red-head to keep a promise anyways not for more than a few minutes at least. His shaking fingers reached nervously for the seashell around his neck - a clever device really. It was an emergency alert for the King but donald had made sure to disguise it...


Aqua sighed, the tip of her spear dragging into the soft sand of the beach, the waves lapping at her ankles. The soft morning rays of a nearly born sun beat down onto the land, just beginning to warm the freezing atmosphere. Living on a beah one would expect tropical weather - but no Regole's region was cold. The dragon embraced the cold and loved the snow and ice.

However, the temperature of the beginning day was abnormally cold. Yesterday hadn't been as near as freezing and she HAD been in her armor that day... but today was just...

Dark. Her fingers tightened around her spear, eyes narrowing some. She heard a shrill from the ocean and her eyes darted to where she saw the dragon looking around - even she sensed something bad. the dragon shook it's head and dipped back into the water, far away into the safety of her underground cove.

She heard a scuffle of shifting sand - almost unnoticable over the noise of the faint breeze - but her heart thrummed and she dropped to her knees, rolling to the side as something large and dark charged past - teeth gleaming and ready to take off her head had she of still been there.

There was a reason she had disregarded her armor - sure if offered protection but it hindered some of her movements and most importantly her speed. And she knew those of the darkness were some of the fastest creatures out there.

Beady eyes of the terrible creature, yellow and dark, glancing at her. She growled slamming her spear forward and piercing the shadowy creature through the chest. Disturbing enough, black blood spilt onto the ground and the body itself exploding like a black fog. The... hell?

She hurriedly got to her feet, eyes narrowing as... MOE of the bastards popped up. they were ugly, gangly things with askew limps and wispy ears that zigzagged like lightning and eyes that glowed deeper than any demon's. She growled, reaching into her pocket for the device Goofy had left her.

In the distance, far from her sight, was a man dressed completely in armor, some sort of strange... sword in his hand. He was barely noticable however - he seemed almost one with the shadows. a puppeteer watching his puppets dance...


Saber-teeth gleaming in the light of the endless night of the world known as the 'between'. It was called that because this is where refuges used to flee to when war arose in intergalatic space - and now it was home to thousands who no longer had one to return to.

But all this was fairly uninteresting to the leopard prowling the rooftops. Everyone here was fairly weak - or almost everyone. There was one pwoer he could feel, skyrocketing over everyone elses...

and it's taste was familar to him, and burned like acid in his mouth. After all these years... he;d thought he was dead. Then again he also thought his own son would never betray him.

He apparently had to stop thinking.

He paused on a rooftop, his voice rumbling into a growl as he looked down, and straight into the warmth of a glowing window - within... was someone he hardly even regonized it not for the gleaming yellow eye and peppered hair. The scars had destroyed his image almost completely.

Ven blinked as he watched a yellow glow came off his guardian. He grinned, rubbing his hands together. He knew Terra would win... he... had a lot of power...

His eyes widened though as a fast attack was called and almost wiped out Axel. He stood, his blue eyes watching Terra's every move.
Again... he felt an itch run down his back... wishing he could spread his wings...

Axel grinned as the fire danced around him and was about to call an attack when... he got sand in his face.
"He-hey!"
The covered his face as the rough sand scraped his arms. That was no fair!

In the shadows of the arena, Riku wisped around... but Terra was hot on his trail. The sand outlined his body slightly... but before Terra could get too close, a gloved hand wrapped around a horn and suddenly flung the large beast into the air. A powerful blast of dark purple energy was flung up towards the beast and again, the figure disappeared.

Ven's eyes widened as he saw Terra get thrown into the air. "No!" He cried and was about to dash out when the doors behind them opened.
"YOUR MAJESTY!"
A goofy voice came out in a panic.
"The signals! Atlantica and Dragoon have been triggered!"

Axel growled and a large blast of flames shot out at the two. Damnit.. they messed up his beginning!


The pup barked more as Demyx pulled him away. He growled at the hole, his own golden eyes glowing.

Suddenly a tentacle flung out of the hole and wrapped around the blonde merman and his pet. The pup winced as his little body was squished against the mans and they were quickly pulled through the hole.

They appeared in another part of the ocean... however the water wasn't as calm as before. In front of them was a large creature.
A Parasite Cage.
A mouth opened and a vacuum suction pulled at the two. The wolf pup was pulled from Demyx's protective hold and was sucked right into the creature.

When it closed its mouth, some muffled barking could be heard from within.


Napkins picked up the coffee that had spilled. A sigh admitted as he put it to the side. He was about to take another sip when he felt it. That power.
He shifted a bit and glanced to the side. His head continued to turn slightly until his golden eye looked out the window.

They met another golden eye.
He slowly looked back at his cup and stood calmly. "Everyone... I need you to leave this area."
The people in the cafe blinked and looked at him. He seemed to have a power radiant off him and slowly the people obeyed and left the small place.

All that stood there now was a man with long black and grey hair. His eye closed and he took a deep breath. The small skeleton key that was actually a signal device was untouched as he turned to look at the leopard again.

Roxas watched the battle intensily, his eyes widened a little as the sands shot up and surronded Axel. "Ax!" He called, muscles tensing, feeling his wings asking for freedom - but he kept the urge down. He still had an incredible urge to run forward and make sure the other was alright though - but he had no reason to worry as, spluttering and covering in sand the blazing redhead emerged, looking a ltitle pissed at being caught by such a dirty trick. He personally thought Axel was going to kick both Terra and Riku's ass - he couldn't even be touched and in a battle that's like... being immortal!

Sora bit his lip, looking around for Riku frantically. He knew Riku would win cause he was well... he was a blind fighter - that was way more impressive then a rabid wolf or a firey imp! And he gasped himself when he saw Terra take to the other side of the arena - only to have a familar hooded man jump out from the ground and fling the wolf like he was a paparweight. "Wow!"

Terra wasn;t too surprised, but he still could do nothing as he was suddenly picked up and thrown. His limbs splayed out some ready to land - when some spark in the corner of his senses was set of and his eyes glew, seeing the purple energy coming for him. Oh delicious! He flicked his tail as it came close, the ball bursting and streams and wisps of it surronded him, almost... becoming apart of him. He twisted in midair and landed on all four paws.

His ears twitched hearing a sound of distress - but it was quickly drowned out from the noise of roaring flames. He looked up, seeing a massive fireball headed his way and was quick to dash backwards, a wall of land hilling before him, catching the attack.

Roxas head turned, his eyes growing concerned as he heard the report. "Dem..."

Sora had gotten to his feet now as well, but not because if the fight - he was just shocked to hear the news. "W-What?"

Mickey's ears twitched as he watched quietly, but at the sand of the new voice he quickly turned, his eyes growing serious. Already? Xehanort didn't waste time did he... he knew they moved didn't he?

His eyes narrowed and he nodded calmly. "Understood." He turned back towards the fight and called, "Terra, Riku, Axel stop for a moment!"

Terra who had been dashing towards Axel, fangs bared, suddenly heard the call and his paws slid against the ground, brining up a little dust cloud as he brought himself to a stop. He glanced towards the mouse, confused. Why so soon?

"We have an issue." Mickey announced without pause. "Both Aqua and Demyx are in danger." And he wodnered... if maybe Xigbar was too and not yet aware of it.


Demyx yelped as the slimy tentacle - grosser then anything he;d ever felt EVER - wrapped itself around his middle, bringing him in. "H-Hey no way!" He struggled against the hold violently, feeling it tighten badly. Puppy squeaked in his arms and he coughed unable to stop as he was brought into the cold darkness of the unknown.

Or well more like the mouth of the unknown. He barely got a good look at the creature - but he saw enough. horrible eyes, and ugly face, razor-sharp teeth. "WAAAAH!" The merman screeched as he was... SWALLOWED. Slurped up like a slushie!

"Ah let me go!! Let me go!!!" Hisa cries were muffled.


The leopard stood there quietly, even after their eyes met - but then he watched the man who was once his brother say something and suddenly... the people fled.

Anger boiled in his black heart, changing her eyes momentarily to a deep red color and he gave a sharp growl slamming a paw into the roof - and suddenly the earth shook violently, and a whistle shot through the air like a missle, and windows shattered all over.

He jumped down, tail twitching behind him with his fury as he walked across the glass littered streets towards where Xigbar stood, tall and proud and unafraid. He had always been the more tempermental... "Brother, it's been so long." He growled "Time has softened you."


Aqua scoffed, slashing again and again at the shadow creratures, getting closer and close towards the shoreline. But for each one she killed another appeared in it's place until - "AURGH!"

She hobbled backwards, feeling something warm dripping from her leg and coloring the sand... and being cleaned away by the copeanw aves. Tears sprang to her eyes as the salt mixed with the wound, temporarily making her hesitate until something wrapped around her middle, lifting her into the air.

She gave a yelp coming back to herself and looked around frantically - seeing some sort of large... catfish shadow? "Damn it..." she hissed, raising her spear and jabbing it into the weird feeler that came from it's mouth. the catfish swung it's head, rattling her whole body.

Riku's eyes narrowed as he watched and HEARD the beast easily hit the ground on his feet. Before he could dash out again, he heard the cries of Goofy. He stopped and looked back, seeing the other's far off talking.

It got suddenly hot though.
His eyes widened as he heard fire crackling and turned just in time to deflect a fireball. His hair flew all over as the blast whooshed by him.

Axel's fist clenched as his fangs shimmered. His face was red with rage. Damnit... he didn't want to stop!
He quickly looked away and sighed, a puff of fire wrapping around him and then disbursed, revealing his old self.

Ven froze as Mickey started to speak. He saw everyone calm down and he felt a bit better himself... seeing that Terra was ok. Of course he was... he was an Atterian. They obviously had fighting in their blood...
He turned to face the two, like his brothers, and frowned.
"What do we do now?"


The Parasite Cage growled a bit as it swallowed both of them. The minute it was done, the creature disappeared into another warp of darkness.

A small wolf pup fell onto a cold, metal floor harshly. A painful yip admitted from it as it slowly got up, hearing a large bang close by. He looked back, only seeing his blonde friend. Another yip came out and he jumped around Demyx until the man stood up himself.

He looked around and panted, getting use to his four feet again. That was when another warp opened... and a man walked out.
The wolf pup stopped his panting and quickly started to growl, golden eyes peering at the bald man in front of them.

"Ah... Saix. There you are."
A grin came from the old man as he slowly raised his gloved hand. The sound of a snap coursed the large room and a black wisp wrapped around the pup. It engulfed him then vanished, revealing the large and terrifying beast that the pup once was.

The wolf blinked and shook his large head, his black fur rustling and another growl came out.
The old man looked at Demyx, shaking his head. "Oh Mickey... you amuse me sometimes."
He pointed at the blonde then nodded. "Saix.... kill him."

The large wolf slowly turned to the blonde. He opened his mouth, revealing razor sharp teeth. Acid like saliva fell and sizzled at the floor as his fur ruffled on his back.
The old man only grinned and disappeared back into the portal.


The scarred man only looked down at the beast with an unamused expression on his face. He shrugged his shoulders and looked to the side. "As if."

Hatori didn't change at all.
Then again... why would he? He was... a typical Atterian.

"Can't say much." His raspy voice continued. "You were the dud that went off with Ida." He mocked. Ida... was a pretty.... irregular Atterian. She didn't believe in all the violence in the race... and even thought that they were barbaric. However... Hatori chose her for a mate. Xigbar... couldn't lie that he wasn't jealous though. His little brother had found a mate first...

Terra's ears twotched with curiosity and he glanced at the others before romping over coming up beside his blonde's legs. Moments later Sora and Roxas were joined much the same way by Riku and Axel respectively.

Mickey crossed his arms, thinking quietly. The gummi ship, even in warp speed, could never reach Dragoon or Atlantica in time - and using the darkness was out of the question. Xehanort would just manipulate them to get his pawns wherever he saw fit. "I was hoping we'd have more time for this." He said solemnly before turning to glance at Ventus and Roxas. "You two... need to shed your wings and then vreate pathways for some of us to be transported to the areas - it;s the only way."

"W-Wha? Wait! How?!" Roxas cried, unsure of how to even GET his wings back. Sure maybe he used a spell to change Puppy but he had no idewa how he did that either. He was just scared that time...

"Just concentrate. Think of... flying." Mickey suggested, a little baffled on how it worked himself even if he didn;t appear so. He had never thought to ask Jet such a question.

Sora pouted a bit, feeling completely left out. He couldn;t help at all all because his seal didn;t break and... and that wasn;t fair!

Roxas glanced nervously towards Ven, sharing an uncertain look with his twin, before sighing and shut his eyes. Flying... right? He bit his lip, trying to remember that feeling he had on the tower - the one of exaulation and the need for freedom...

"Whoa!"

He heard the cry and his eyes fluttered open, seeing Sora's wide-eyed gaze on him. "What?" He asked confused and the brunette pointed wordlessly.

Roxas turned his head and blinked in shock seeing that the black and white wings HAD returned... wow.


"Ack!" Demyx cried as ... he smacked into a floor? well that was an interesting stomach for a monster! Maybe those biology reports weere wrong after all - stomachs were made of concrete!

He heard the sopft growls and confused noises of Puppy and looked towards his pet smiling a little. He was okay! "Heh well-" He started to say but a sudden wisp of cold air and the sound of footsteps brought his attention... to a man he did not know. He shuddered in fear unsure of why he suddenly felt so terrified. He was even more confused when the man;s eyes danced to Puppy, saying something strange. Saix? Who was that...?

He heard a snap and his eyes went wide, seeing as the Puppy he hadf grown to love turned back into the terrifying beast that only a week ago nearly took off Axel's head.

He tensed as the other looked straight at him. "Oh Mickey... you amuse me sometimes."

...what was that supposed to mean?!

Then he heard the command and relaxed a little. Puppy would nev- his previous wolf pup start to growl at him, hissing rising from where his spit hit the floor. Ut oh...

"P-Puppy?" He whispered, terrified. He didn;t even notice the man's departure - too scasred to look away from the bloodthristy eyes staring at him. He stumbled backwards in the small room, finding a corner, instinictively bringing his sitar out in front of him like a shield as he slid down in a sitting position, warily looking at the creature. "Puppy it;s me!"

Maybe... he shouldn;t of convinced Roxas and Axel to keep him.

"He's going to kill us." Axel said dismissively. "We might as well through him onto shore and watch him suffocate."
"What?! No!!" Demyx cried, hugging the puppy wolf to him. "That's so creul! He's just a harmless little Puppy who wouldn;t hurt a fly."
"Yeah... NOW." Roxas said with a roll of his eyes. "I don't really care if he stays or not - but YOU'RE taking care of him."
Demyx grinned. If Roxas said yes, Axel would HAVE to argree.
"Yeah yeah... don;t let him slobber on me though."
"You got it! Thanks Rox!"


Hatori twitched at his deceased mate's name, smirking a bit. "You're just jealous." He said simply, ears twitched as he walked forward. "Come on Xiigbar, we have a job to finish. The Shee aren't going to kill themseleves." He laughed somewhat.

"Don;t be a traitor like that worthless son of mine."


The catfish that held the bluette captive suddenly lost it;s grip and the woman gave a yelp as she fell for the ground, hitting it hard. She grunted, rolling back onto her feet and holding her spear up high. "That's it!" She slammed the tip of the blade into the ground and a wave of water shot from the ocean, smacking into all the dark creatures, and they all dispersed upon impact.

The female scoffed a bit, taking her spear from the ground and looking around for any other creatures that could be around - when suddenly something black jumped out on front of her. She jumped back, a strange looking sword slicing into the place she had just been. Her eyes widened as she took in the newcomers appearance and realized with a start that she was probably in a whole lot more trouble now. "Who...?"

The man didn;t speak though - in fact she couldn;t even get a good look of him on account of the helmet over his head however she did understand his body language as he rasied his sword, getitng into a stance. He wanted to fight eh?

Riku slowly walked behind Axel and Terra as they headed back to the others. He stood alongside Sora and looked down at the mouse think. Riku usually had some cleaver ideas... but it was Mickey's show now. He would know best on how to handle things.

Axel yawned as he stood next to Roxas. He tapped his feet and crossed his arms as he awaited the king's orders. Man... he sooo could of won that fight! He was invincible! He knew damn well that wasn't true. Once water attacks got a hold of him... well... luckily neither of his opponents knew water based attack.
He was hoping that his days in Alantica would make his water weakness toughen.

Goofy blinked when he asked the two blondes to pull out their wings. He hadn't seen Shee wings in a real long time...

Ven looked down the at Roxas in an uneasy manner. He kinda... felt bad. His older brother... still hadn't broken his seal...
He blinked though when Mickey said to think about flying. Flying? He couldn't fly! How was he suppose to feel like tha---

"GWARSH!" A cry came out of the tall dog and a 'Whoa' came from his brother. He looked up, feeling a new strange power around him. He blinked... seeing the amazing wings on his brother's back.
He stumbled a bit, watching them flap slowly. No.... no way....
He knew his wings had come out that night in Halloween Town... but he never.... got to see them...

Riku's eyes widened too, seeing the... exotic looking wings. He had never seen anything like that. Of course not... he was blind for most of his life... But even when he could see...

Ven suddenly felt a nudge on his hand, looking down at Terra to see the wolf egging him on.
Oh... that's right...
He frowned but closed his eyes.
Flying....
Flying...
Flying..
Flying.
He couldn't think of something so surreal!?

It wouldn't make his wings come out...

Then he remembered...
He was a warrior Shee. The red wings of Passion!
He nodded to himself... and thought... of Terra being in trouble. He clenched his fists and felt fluttering inside him...

"OH PRETTY!"
The imp squealed as he saw fire themed wings burst out of Ventus a lot less... gradually than Roxas's.
Ven's wings looked fierce and treating... even to touch. No wonder everyone thought Runa wasn't cut out to bring peace with wings like that...

His eyes opened, bright yellow instead of the blue.


The pitch black wolf continued edging towards the blonde, backing him up into a corner. The acid saliva continue to drip, sizzling on the floor. The golden eyes crazy looking and rabid.
He continued towards the blonde, not minding the large sitar in front of him.

Slowly he leaned over, fangs barring as he grew closer. His hot breath masked the blonde's face as his jaw opened and...
A tongue came out, licking the side of the man's face. The saliva wasn't acid... but very wet!

A soft coo came from the wolf as he nuzzled the blonde, now MUCH bigger than the puppy he was turned into. He continued to nuzzle the other when suddenly his ears perked. He turned his head, looking behind him and growled.

Something had came from the wall and was now floating above the floor. It looked like some sort of devil. It had small wings and a small sword. It's yellow eyes pierced down at them...

An Invisible.

The wolf moved away from the blonde and reared up, it's body almost completely hiding Demyx. He growled at the creature, his eyes narrowing as the creature suddenly threw its sword down into the concrete and then.... disappeared.

A sudden ring of dark fire wrapped around the wolf, making him growl even more. Suddenly one of the fire balls started to glow in front of him and a blast of energy shot out.

A large explosion blew out but it didn't hit the wolf. Instead, it hit a very large weapon. The weapon spun and shot the energy away, into the sword in the ground, making it shatter. The rest of the fire balls burnt out and all was silent again.

Slowly, a man stood, his long black jacket fluttering about. Long blue hair fluttered down onto the hooded jacket and the large weapon in his hand dragged on the floor, as if he wasn't use to wielding it.
Slowly his head turned, the blue hair moving with him. Golden eyes looked down at the man crouched in the corner, a familiar 'X' scared down the middle of his face.
"Are you... ok?"


Xigbar growled at his brother's mockery. He hadn't changed a bit. He DID find a mate eventually.... kinda.... sorta..... well.... not really....
He huffed and crossed his fingers, not backing away as the frightening creature walked towards him. Frightening... as if. It was his LITTLE brother.

His eyes narrowed though as the Shee were brought up. He was still... hungry for their blood? He had to admit... he was too when he first landed in Dragoon.... but....
He closed his eyes, the cold wind blowing his greyed out hair back.
Xehanort... was still after them? Still... had the army?

Slowly, his body began to change.
The sound of bones cracking and changing.
The man fell to his knees, his hands slowly breaking and becoming hairy... furry....

Spiraled horns pierced from his skin as his pointed ears became round. His spine lengthened into a tail, a large club forming at the end.

At the end of the change, a large beast laid on the ground. The body was of a black panther... but it had horns like a ram and a tail like an Ankylosaurus. His ears were flat on his head as he panted slightly. It had been almost 15 years since he had been in this form. His body had been mangled terribly, the scars could account that.

[Reno]

Roxas looked on in amazement as the red wings burst forth on his brother's back. They were... wow. He laughed a bit at Axel's exclmation - figures he'd like the fiery ones the best. the red wings of passion, it was something else seeing it in person and not through a vision. The blonde himself didn;t know his own eyes had also changed from their blue shade to the yellow that Ven had - they were still twins it seemed even though they didn;t have the same wings (which... was odd if one thought about it).

Terra's tail wagged a little, smiling proudly up at Ventus. The blonde was afterall the first to get his wings - and they were quite a sight. He had no idea though of what the blonde had thought of to make those wings appear... if he had he would have been flattered.

Sora made another soft exclamation as he saw Ven's wings - just like their mom's alright. They were stunning and powerful looking, with sharp dips and edges. But Roxas' was a combination of white and black swirls, creating an almost hyponotisingly yet calming effect. The wings of a leader...

"Wow they're... amazing!" Sora whispered, but only Riku could hear him well - and possibly Axel since he had sharp ears. The brunette looked away, trying to mask his jealousy. It wasn;t fair - he was the one who BELIEVED in magic and fairytales and stuff like that, why was he the only one without wings? Roxas - nonbeliever of anything and everything fiction ROXAS - got his wings before him.

Mickey smiled at one and then the other. "Good. Now I need you both to make a pathway. Roxas make one for Atlantica, Ven for Dragoon. Just try to imagine what it looks like and who the people aqre there and transfer the energy into magic."

Roxas blinked, a little lost this time. So...he just had to remember atlantica... right? That was easy. Roxas shut his eyes, remembering Ariel and Demyx and Puppy, remembering singing in a corus and dancing with Axel, remembered... that night in the cove of stars...

A little trill of light appeared a few feet away, forming into a small portal similar to Axel's but so much brighter. If one looked in it closely they could see simething blue drifting around within it, flowing like water....

Mickey smiled a bit, then glanced towards his knight and mage. "Donald, Goofy. I want you two to go to Atlantica." The duck nodded quietly, oddly enough saluting. Mickey gave as glance to the guardians - seeing them looking like they wanted to argue. After all, they were friends... right? "Don't worry just protect them." The mouse reassured them.


Demyx shut his eyes in fear as the wolf got closer and closer, sharp teeth getting nearer and nearer. His sitar did nothing to keep him back - he felt hot breathe on his face... This was it, his life was over. He wondered if they'd build a memorial in his honor....

He also wondered why his face was getting so disgustingly wet. He opened one eye tentatively and grinnd. "Puppy!" Yet the happy moment didnl;t last long before the wolf sense something and turned, growling. Tje blonde saw it as well, some sort of blue demon with a large... weapon.

He squeezed himself further back against the wall, gasping when the other was surronded by blue flames. His fingers curled around his sitar, wanted to sing and raise some water for the other...

But Puppy needed no help and in a great explosion... everything was clear. Even Puppy himself.

Instead in his place stood a... man with blue haor - and the moment he turned to look at him Demyx understood.
the scar...

"Are you like... a reverse werewolf?" Demyx asked curiously.


Hatori's eyes narrowed as his elder brother changed, not surprised in the least by his ghastly form. That damn Shee had gotten him good. Had gotten them BOTH in fact.

He walked forward a few steps, each movement tentative. "What sort of an answer was that?" He barked at the other, looking him up and down curiously.


Bang. Clash. Smack.

Aqua cursed jumping back some, holding her spoear out in front of her defensively. The sword came down, metal screeched on metal and Aqua stumbled her bad leg making itself known. She'd lost a good amount of blood by the time.

Whatever she was fighting though qwasn;t human... she had scraped him across his arm... and he hadnlt even bleed. There had only been wisps like darkness...

Something was wrong here... it almost felt like he was just distracting her.

[Rikugurl]

Ven looked back, seeing the tips of his wings. They were yellow that blended into orange. He wondered if the base of red. He'd have to look in the mirror at some point. Slowly he reached back, touching thing softly. He jumped when he felt... his fingers on the new limbs. They were.... real.

This wasn't all a dream.

He looked down, his yellow eyes wondering the ground as if he was looking for something. He didn't even notice Roxas make a portal... or heard anyone around him.
His life was so normal... so.... he took it all for granted. No more school work... no more sitting under the windmills...
Not for a long time at least.

He doubted his life would ever go back to normal...


Goofy saluted when the king ordered. He looked down at Donald then nodded. "Come on!" He called and jumped into the portal that the young Shee had made.

He blinked when he and the white duck appeared in a... room? This wasn't the ocean at all. He looked around... but it wasn't very big and easily saw the two men in the corner.

"A reverse wha---"
His ears perked again and he looked back, growling as his eyes glowed. They stopped though when he saw the two new characters.
They were the King's guards.
What... were they doing here...?

Goofy jumped a bit as he saw the man standing. He was pretty scary looking.
"Uh... hiya! We're here to help ya!"


Ven looked up when the king started to talk to him, his eyes not looking very interested. A portal... to Dragoon?
His brows frowned but he nodded. Like his brother, he thought of the damp region... and a bright light of a portal appeared not too far away. This one was outlined in red, like his wings.

The reflection was a watery motion as well.
His eyes widened as the king suddenly jumped through.
Weren't... they suppose to bring the other guardians back??


Another mouse was sitting in a rather large chair. She hummed as she turned some pages but gasped wen she saw something at the corner of her eye.
Thorns.
"Oh no!" She cried as she jumped up, watching the black thorns slowly start to engulf the room.
The Darkness was coming...


The older Atterian slowly stood on his four feet. They were weak but slowly he got his strength back.
His golden eye slowly moved to meet his brother's only one. "Jet did this to me... his sons will have to pay his price." An evil grin arose, showing off his large fangs.

[Reno]

Demyx looked up when Puppy did, seeing the two newcomers. He didn;t recognize the dog but he did know who the duck was. "Hey your the octopus!!"

The duck scoffed. "Donald. My name is Donald."

Demyx grinned when he heard the dog like creature mention saving. He got to his feet, slinging on his sitar. "Isn;t that great Puppy? We get to be saved!" He smiled then looked around the little cage. "Saving sounds real nice right now."


Mickey's ears twitched, seeing Ven's curiosity, and some sadness as well. That was a problem for later however, one that hopefully his brother's could quelm. "Ven?" He inquired and it seemed to snap the blonde out of his daze and like his brother, created another portal. He nodded to the six before jumping through the portal as well.

Aqua grunted as her leg collasped under her, sending her spiraling into the sand. She didn;t get a chance to do anything else though as something black and small rushed over her and there was another clang. She looked over, bnlinking in confusion and her jaw dropped at who she saw. "King Mickey?!"

The Dark Knight fell back when the king intervened, but he said nothing. Just disappeared in a plume of smoke. His job was finished.


Sora looked up, suddenly feeling... cold. His eyes glimmered a bright amber as he backed up some, instinctively grabbing onto
Riku's arm. "Ri... something;s here." He said suddenly, his voice filled with fear.


Hatori smirked. "Now that;s the brother I know." He walked over, head brushing the other;s side affectionately. "Good to have you back." A daqrk portal formed in front of them and the leopard grinned. "Shall we?"

[Rikugurl]

The blue haired man looked down at Demyx, seeing the man stand again. Oddly enough... the blonde's smile made him feel a bit better. He continued to stand still was Demyx walked over to the two creatures.

He looked down slightly. He couldn't go with them...
His eyes widened as he heard the blonde.
Puppy?
"My name is Saix..."

Goofy blinked when he first heard the 'puppy' thing. Was he talking to him? That question was answered when the blue hair man revealed his name. What would the blonde be calling him 'Puppy'?


Riku watched the two portals, making sure everything was ok. However, he jumped when he felt Sora's arm and looked down, hearing and SEEING the boy's fear. His face became serious but looked up when he heard a cry from within the castle.

His eyes narrowed but nodded.
"Axel, Terra... watch Sora for me." He called before he rushed into the castle.


Xigbar closed his eye when he felt his brother's nuzzle. It had been a long time...
He nodded slightly and looked up, seeing the portal. He looked at his brother and nodded, grinning a bit as he started to walk towards the portal.

Once inside, he looked around, seeing other beast of Shadows. They were all sorts of large and ferocious looking beast. Some he remembered.... some where new...

[Reno]

Demyx glanced back with a bit of a pout. "Saix.... mmm Then I'll sall you Saix-puppy!" He grinned cheekily. "Now what are you doing all the way over there?"

Demyx of course didn;t understand what the other was thinking. He didn;t think of the cornerstone at Disney castle possibly hurting the poor bluette. He didn;t know much of anything at all really just that they were getting a one-way ticket out of the cell and personally he didn;t like the cold.

Donald tilted his head as well but he had seen the wolf as a puppy and recognized the cscar easily. Ah... so he wasn;t just an animal after all. He didn;t think he was an Atterian either though. He had been a rather normal looking wolf after all - well as normal as a wolf-fish COULD look that is.


At the yell Roxas looked up his eyes shading back to blue. "Whats going on?" He asked starting to sound a little panicked as well. His portal disappeared in a fizzle of light - his concentration lost. He watched Riku rush past, yelling out orders to the other two guardians befre glancing towards Sora whose eyes had turned a stormy amber from fear. He glanced towards Axel, confused.

Terra scoffed a bit, but nodded to Riku's words. "Wjhy do I feel like we just walked into a trap?" He asked dully.


Mickey frowned a bit, before turning and hurrying towards Aqua's side. "Cure." He said, the green magic wafting over the female guardian. "You alright?"

"Yeah," She responded frowning, glancing around. "There were all these dark creatures with glowing eyes just a minute ago..."

Mickey glanced at her and looked around. "Welp they seem to be gone now but-" Something caught the corner of his eye and he glanced over seeing something ripple. Hew glanced at the portal seeing it fade. That... wasn;t a good sign.


Hatori grinned, walking in the portal after his brother tail swinging happily behind him. He stepped up next to him, looking up at the creatures dismissively. He walked past them, knowing his brother would follow. Xehanort should know that the other had joined them once more. He was also curious to know how the plan had gone.

[Rikugurl]

A brow raised.
Saix....puppy?
That was a bit... different. The others would definitely laugh at him.
He looked away again, getting that sickening question. He might of liked that kind of talk when he was under that spell... but now...

Goofy frowned as he watched the blue hair man still standing still.
"Well... are ya gonna come along?"
Saix only shook his head.
"No... I'm a Creature of the Shadows. I'm a part of the Shadow Army who are after the last remaining Shee. I'm sorry... but I can't go with you. I shouldn't even be letting you out with your lives..." He dulled out the last part and turned away.

Goofy frowned more. Well, he definitely didn't want to bring this man to the castle if he stated who he was. "Alrighty!" He called and turned, about to go back into the portal until...

It snapped shut.
"WHOA!" The dog held his hat as he jumped. "Gwarsh. Were did the light thingy go?"


Ven's eyes became blue again, hearing Riku's call. His own concentration failed as he watched the silverette rush up into the castle.
He frowned and looked down at Terra. "What do you mean?"


Inside the castle, the man rushed towards the scream. It was coming from the throne room. "Minnie!" He ducked under the small door and rushed down the large hallway. A door was open inside the throne room. He knew what it was. He quickly rushed down the stairs and stopped dead as he looked around the room.

"What the...?"
His eyes widened as he saw the thorns wrapping around the cornerstone.
"Oh Riku!" The female mouse ran over to the tall man and stood behind him.

His eyes narrowed as he saw the thorns keep moving, almost looking like they were coming out towards them. He got into stance... but before he could do anything, a dark beam shot out and wrapped itself around the young man.

"AAAH!! MINNIE! RUN!!" He called as he twisted, feeling his dark energy being drained.
The little mouse fled from the room, calling for more help.

The beam suddenly reversed itself, creating a large portal in the room, blocking the light completely.


Xigbar didn't look at the others as his brother passed him. He quickly followed to a room he knew very well. The throne room.
They walked through the door and his one eye widened as he saw a rather large portal at the side.

A bald man and knight stood proudly near it, facing away from them. At the sound of the heavy paws, the older man looked back, his golden eyes glowing as he saw the two Atterians.
"Xigbar... so you've returned. Good to see you again." He cackled, his voice sounding quite amused.

The ram horned Atterian bowed his head respectfully. "Master Xehanort. It's been awhile."
"I see you have some nasty scratches." The man laughed but nodded, looking at Hatori.
"All has gone to plan." He pointed at the portal and grinned. "Time for another invasion. You know what to do. Just like last time."

[Reno]

Demyx frowned a bit when the other refused to come along He started to walk back over, saying. "Sai-" When suddenly the call from Goofy made him looked around. He blinked, seeing the one way ticket out of here... was gone. How can you lose a light thingy!?" The blonde cried.

Donald frowned, seeing that it was gone as well. "Maybe Roxas just lost his concentration. He is new at the whole magic thing." He had a feeling it was much more than that however...


"Well, first Dragoon and Atlantica are in a panic... then the minute Mickey leaves theres a problem?" Terra said. "Xehanort knows where we are. He's trying to make a move..."

"But how?" Roxas asked slowly. "The cornerstone prevents him from getting in doesn;t it?" On the little tour last night Donald had told them about that too - the cornerstone was what the castle was built around - it was meant to keep the whole place protected from anything dark. Sora had asked at that point how Riku and Terra and Axel were all able to walk about the castle then since they were all or had been cursed at one point and Donald had explained if the king recognizes those people as friendsthere energy, no matter how dark, would not set off the cornerstone in any way.

Sora frowned a bit at Terra's words, then bit his lip. Walking into a trap meant that Xehanort was planning their every...

move.

"RIKU!" The brunette suddenly burst out and without as second though he tore out of the training room. He didnt know why but somewhere deep in his heart he felt it with a sudden clarity. Riku was in a lot of danger.

Terra's ears perked up, hearing the Shee's sudden yell and to his horror RAN from the room. "H-Hey get back here!!" He cried, suddenly chasing after him. He glanced back, seeing Roxas, Ven and even Axel about to follow. Damnit they didn;t need anyMORE problems. "Stay there!" He ordered before racing out into the hallway.

Sora was fast, but Terra was still faster. He quickly came to the other's side, racing with him. "Sora will you STOP already!?"

"No!" The brunette said, ignoring the other's words.

Terra scoffed, running forward and getting in front of the brunette, trying to halt him. "Stop!"

Sora, rather then sliding to a stop, narrowing his eyes and ran faster and then JUMPED over the wolf like he was some sort of hurdle. Roxas wasn;t the only one who had been on the track team it seemed.

"H-Hey!" There was NO way... Terra growled fiercely and again ran after the other. For once the brunette Shee didn;t get lost. He knew which way Riku had gone and when he past a panicked looking Queen Minnie, he knew he was definitely headed in the right direction. Ahead he could hear someone yelling - "Riku!" He rushed down the red carpet of the throne room and down some stairs. Terra's noisy feet clattering right behind him.


Hatori incoinced his head to Xehanort's words, grinn ing maliciously. "Understood." He walked over to the portal, tail wagging in anticipation. He glanced back at Xigbar, smirking before hurrying throught it.

His claws clattered noisly on the marble flooring of the castle yet the taste of darkness surronded the place. He could see the thorns growing everywhere and there, laying down on the ground, drained of a good amount of his dark energy was the epitome of their plan. He grinned, taking a few steps towards the silverette, teeth bare. "We have no more need for you."

Sora Reached the bottom of the steps, just in time to see the same terrifying gold eyes he had seen in the window well over a week ago once more - yet this time they were concentrated solely on someone else. The look in the leopards eyes was bloodthristy - teeth gleaming with saliva as he got closer and closer... So much so it made his heart hurt. ""Get away from him!"

Saix frowned as he saw the portal was indeed gone. Xehanort.... really knew what he was doing... wasn't he?
He was a smart man. Maybe too smart.
The power rank was The Shee, Master Xehanort, The Atterians, and then the Shadow Army.

He sighed and shook his head but almost fell over when the room started to move. The dark walls slowly started to get closer... as if the room was swallowing them.

Goofy tumbled over but quickly stood, looking around. "GWARSH! WE'RE GONNA BE EATEN!" He flailed in panic.
"Calm down... we're not going to be eaten... We're going to be transported..." Saix corrected coldly as the walls continued to close around them.

The large weapon that the man held disappeared and slowly, he brought the blonde into a secure hug.

When the walls pressed against them, they suddenly went through them.
They appeared in a large room that was once full of shadow beast. It was now very empty. They were already on the move...
Goofy looked around then looked towards the blonde. Next to him was a large wolf again. "Gwarsh... we're are we?"

The wolf looked at them. "Shh..."


Ven's eyes widened as Sora suddenly bolted off. "SORA!" He called then.... Terra rushed off. He frowned and quickly started to head after them, Axel and Roxas not far behind. They all slid to a stop when the beast snapped at them. They could only watch him disappear inside.

The yellow eyes came back to Ven as he growled. "I'm not going to stand around with my brother in trouble!" His fist clenched as he closed his eyes and suddenly, his wings spread out and gave one large flap.
Ventus was suddenly in the air.

"H-HEY!" Axel cried as he saw the other blonde start to fly UP the castle. "GET BACK DOWN HERE!"


Riku fell to the floor, his silver hair a mess in front of his face as he panted. What...?
His eyes widened as he saw something dark appear from the portal that his OWN darkness had made. That... beast...
Behind him, another large Atterian walked out, his own tail swinging back and forth.

He growled, trying to get up but stopped when he heard a familiar voice.
His eyes widened in fear as his head shot back, seeing Sora at the stairs. "RUN! NOW!"

The other Atterian walked by the silverette, leaving his brother to him. More and more dark beast started to pour out of the large portal but they could of cared less.
The panther walked towards the brunette and grinned evilly, his golden eye glowing.
"You father took away my eye... maybe I should return the favor to his first child."

The panther licked his lips as he grew closer... but suddenly.... winked. "Don't bother running..."

[Reno]

Demyx shuddered in fear as the walls got xcloser, backing up some and gasped as the blue-haired wolf's arms came around him, bringing him into a hug. He shivered, burying his head in the other's shoulder. "puppy..." He murmured, hearing the others soft reassurances as the walls finally closed.

Donald flapped his wings in panic, baking away. What type of transportation spell was this? There was nothing normal about walls caving in on you that was for sure! He squakced and quacked until the walls sucked them in.

The duck blinked looked around at a sudden very empty room - one darker then before. It was like all the light of this area had been sucked in and torn apart... if that was even possible. It was like the exact opposite of Disney Castle.

Demyx looked around breathlessly, seeing the new area and dropped to hos knees, a hand coming up and curling into the wolf's fur. He heard the others warning to be quiet and just settled for getitng closer to the wolf, trying to steal his body heat. It was unnaturally cold down here...


"So what do we do now?" Aqua inquired after getting the small story from the mouse. It was good to know that the Shee were all safe and sound and had made it alright but now... it seemed something else was brewing. Something bad. She had pulled some cloth that she had ripped from her pant leg off, and was at the moment wrapping up her leg in it. The cure spell had stemmed the bleeding but it still needed to be covered lest she get infected.

"Welp, Xehanort will probably manipulate it even if i try but I will not stand for my castle to be attacked without at least attempting to get there." Mickey said, raising a hand and before him a portal of darkness appeared.

"Then I'm coming too." Aqua suddenly said, getting to her feet.

"Oh no Aqua this isn;t your fight you-"

Aqua just crossed her arms and scoffed. "Think I care? If Xehanort gets the Shee then he might come back and try and take Dragoon next. I'm not exactly just gonna sit around and wait for that to happen."

Mickey was quiet for a few moments then nodded. "It is your decision." He walked through the portal, not surprised to see the strong-willed woman snatch up her spear and walk after. He did however notice the ginger way she walked on her left leg.

Minnie... please be safe.


"Ven!!" Roxas cried as his brother... suddenly FLEW away. Damn it first Sora now him?

Even though he was the youngest of the three he still knew what being protective over his siblings meant. He didn;t wqant to see them die because they were both being stupid! "Sorry Ax." Roxas sad before hurrying forward, flapping his own wings and - to his completel amazement - he flew AFTER his elder brother. If the situation was a lot less panicked he would have been cheering like crazy. This was a dream come true!!

Now if only he didn;t have to get them because he was part of an extinct and overly powetrful race that everyone and their grandfather wanted to kill!

"Ven wait up!" The blonde called after his identical twin, ignoring the cries of Axel from below telling them to come back.


Sora slid to a stop as the beast before him made him. He gasped a bit - but the moment the other spoke he recognized him. Xigbar... he was the Atterian who broke the curse...

He blinked in confusion for a few seconds at the wink, glancing past him towards Riku - then suddenly remembered Terra had been following him. In his state he didn;t have a CHANCE against an experienced fighter like Hatori.. but maybe...

He bit his lip before turning around and running off, mkaing a small noise of panic as the other Atterian followed. He wasn;t actually scared though - it was all acting after all. He knew the Atterian was on their side. He rushed up the steps just as a wolf with bull horns came into sight.

Terra slid to a halt, confused for a moment as Sora raced back up the steps and hot on his heels was someone... he didn;t know. He started to growl, but Sora didn;t seem scared and the panther racing after him was baring no teeth... what was-

"Hurry." Sora gasped as he rushed past. "Riku;s in trouble."

Terra blinked and as the two rushed past he got a hint of the beasts scent.... Xigbar? His eyes narrowed but he turned and hurried down the stairs and into the large room made of white marble. His paws slid a little on the slick surface, noticing how dark the room suddenly was - throns and shadow creatures were everywhere.

And then he saw the silverette laying on the ground and his father walking forward, two steps away from latching his claws into one of his friend's throats. His eyes widened in terror then he gave a snarl and shot forward.

Hatori grinned, hearing his brother take off after one of the Shee. He desereved to get payback after all these years. He was just reached Riku when he ehard something unsettled. Claws... and then a howl. He looked up and his eye widened as a big black form charged forth, jumping over the silverette and into him. The wolf latched his fangs into his shoulder and bit down hard, blood splattering to the ground.
