Of Fairytales and Blood Bonds

Mickey frowned, his own face solemn and quiet as he hugged his queen close, knowing it was a horrible tramitizing memory to remember. they had been their and watched one of the most peaceful races out their get destroyed... and they could only save three of them.

Sora shook in the silverette's arms, reaching up and holding onto the other tightly. "R-Riku..." He buried his face into the other's chest, feeling hands running through his hair comfortingly. Tears continued to rush down his face the horror of it all voer coming him.

He... he;d never get to know what it would be liked leading the movement of peace like his mother had - he;d never get to visit wqorld after world sapreading the words of equality and friendship. He'd never... get to know what it was like being jealous of Roxas for getting to be the hier - would never get to know how much fightign skills he would have elarned from Ventus - would never get to know his mother's hug or his father's pride...

It was all gone now.

Roxas didn;t even flinch as his hair sizzled. He looked up at Axel quietly and just shook his head. "I'm okay." He choked out, rubbing his eyes and the tears. He looked down at the ground.

King... he would have been king. Heh... how ironic, he wondered... what he would have done then. He wodnered how his father Jet would of reacted the minute he found out he wasn't as interested in girls as he was with...

He glanced up at Axel, seeing the other's saddened face and pulled a small smile to his own, trying to be strong just like his other Runa was when she lost grandma...

Jesus...

Terra couldn't answer why mickey had been crazy enough to choose him either. to him... it even made less sense! He frowned when the blonde fell like his other brother quickly getting up hurrying to the other's side. He frowned as the other leaned against him, confused. Why did he still trust him even after all that?

But then suddenly-

"Xigbar! He's an Atterian!?"

Terra's eyes widened. What?!

"Listen if you're going to stay you MIGHT as well help clean. It's not very good manners to stand around in someone's house and not help out." He said, throwing the broom at the other's feet.
"As if." The golden- eyed man said, smirking as he walked past.
Terra's ears twitched, catching his scent even storng them before. the armor hide it somehow... but the closer he got...
He sniffed curiously. why... did it smell so familar?

"He is." Mickey said softly, nodding slowly. He knew nothing more then the fact that Xigbar was indeed an Atterian - their was another important aspect he was not aware of. His kinship to Hatori. "Jet... had fought him. and let him live that day. He was given a second chance. And I am upholding those two wishes by trying to find the heart of the Atterians."

Terra grit his teeth, his lips pulling back a ltitle to reveal his teeth. He was angry. He broke away from Ventus suddenly, standing before the queen and king and without really thinking about it, he snapped out, "Are you STUPID?!"

The words drew everyone to a halt and everyone looked at him in surprise. Donald made an angry noise of protest rom the other end of the hall but Mickey rose his hand, silencing the duck. He was going to allow the beast to speak?!

"Jet... and Runa they made a mistake why are you trying to repeat it!" The wolf said, his tail swinging in his anger.

"But Terra have you not yourself proven that their is indeed more to your race then what has been believed?"

Terra looked up at Mickey, then back towards Ventus quietly, seeing the watery blue eyes, the slight fear, the confusion the...

"Ah! N-no.... Terra.... s-st-stop!" The face was red with lust, but tears were sliding down his cheeks. his pleas went ignored, the shapeshifter unable to stop - had no willpower to stop. all he could see... was the power it would bring him.

He looked at Mickey and his head bowed, tail falling inbetween his legs. "No. You made a mistake there.... I'm no better then they are." He whispered before turning away and padding down the royal red carpeting going towards the doorway.

Riku sighed softly as he continued to nurture the younger. He didn't want to say 'don't cry' again... because he knew he would of too if he was in the same boat. He held onto Sora, continuing to rock him softly. He looked out the way, seeing Axel try to comfort Roxas too... but not having the best time doing so.

Axel frowned as the boy choked. Damnit... what he would GIVE to hold Roxas in the time of need...

He blinked as Roxas pulled on a small smile. He smiled back happily. At least... I'll be here for ya!

But everything stopped when Terra suddenly lashed out. The green and aquamarine eyes looked up, as the other growled.

Ven almost fell over as Terra left his side. No... Terra wasn't the friendliest guardian... definitely not number one when it came to compassion.. but he still did his job... and that was what mattered. He had promised that he would watch over Ven even after all this... and... if Terra wanted Ven dead... he would of killed him already...

The red winged Shee trusted Terra, the Atterian.

He watched as Terra lashed out at the King, his eyes still watering as the beast looked back at him. He gasped as Terra walked passed him, a gloom of shame over his head as he kept it low, the tail between his legs.
"Uh... Terra!" The blonde called as he quickly got up and after the beast.


Minnie sighed as she pulled away from Mickey, watching the Shee run after the Atterian. It was... a sight to see really.

"Terra." She stated softly before shaking her head. "Your uncle... he broke the curse that you have too."

Everyone stopped and looked back at the queen. What was she talking about?

[Reno]

Sora sniffled as he was rocked, feeling very young right now. Damn it he was 16! He shouldn;t be crying like this. But a sudden bark from Terra drew his depressing thoughts to a halt and he rasied his head some, watching the wolf chastise the two mice. The poor guy... this really was hard on him.

How could he say that about himself though? He had protected Ventus just fine - and though the blonde wasn;t exactly as happy as he used to be he didn't seem like he hated Terra or anything. Not with the way they cuddled. He thought the same as Ven - if Terra was going to kill Ven, he had had a whole year to do so.

Roxas glanced back as well as the wolf began to argue, seeing how bristly his fur had become. He frowned a bit, hearing his words. They were... baffling. He'd never met anyone who would honestly speak AGAINST who they were.

Yet the fact that Terra realized how bad they were, and was ashamed of the things they had done put him on a pedestial higher then the others. this... this was the shapeshifter his mother and father would have loved to meet. Terra... Terra WAS the heart of the Atterians. How he grew to be so radically different from his kind he would never know nor understand, all he was that he was and even if the wolf himself didn't believe himself to be good, the blonde saw something in him that his mother would have as well.

Terra's ears twitched as he heard Ventus chasing after him. the wolf frowned, confounded. why? why did he STILL trust him? It didn't make any sense... after that story he barely even trusts himself any longer.

He paused however as Minnie's next words ran over him. He froze, baffled. His... uncle? He had... an uncle? He turned around slowly. How did these mice know more about his family, and his curse and everything then he himself did?

He glanced at Ven who had reached his side, then stared back at the mice. "What... do you mean? I... have an uncle?"

... wow that made him look like an idiot. But hell his whole family had been gone by the time his was three sans his mother. and the last time he saw his father was that day laying on the bed trying to recover from a change that shouldn't have occured for years.

Ven frowned as he finally reached the beast's side. Quite honestly... Ven didn't even know why he was so trusting of Terra. Again... if Terra wanted to kill him... he would of already done so.

He gently placed his hand down on the fur and looked up at Minnie who looked around herself, seeing the eyes on her.
Unlike Mickey... she had the power to see relations.
She knew Xigbar was Hatori's brother... and Hatori was Terra's father...

She nodded and smiled softly.
"Jet had spared Xigbar's life... and casted him to Dragoon. Why of all planets... we'll never know. Perhaps because Xigbar had fled... he would be known as a traitor. Under the dragon's ancient powers... no one would be able to detect him there."

She rubbed her cheek and nodded.
"The dragon's ancient powers must of blocked the curse on him at the time... allowing him to keep his human form... but when he went to Traverse Town... he was not forced into his beast form. He broke his blood curse... but how... I'm not sure."

Axel frowned. "Maybe there's something in Dragoon that can cure the curse?"
Minnie shook her head. "I highly doubt it. Shee's curses are their own. The person or people actually cursed by a Shee... has to break it themselves."
Axel rubbed his chin and smiled. "Well, let's go ask him how he did it!"

XIGBAR WAS HIS UNCLE?!

Well... that answered why he reminded him of his father so much... but... XIGBAR?!

He wondered... if he had known who he was at the time and just never said anything...

"I'm just having one hell of a fucking family reunion." Terra mumbled softly, shaking his head. His ears twitched listening to the girl mouse's words, frowning in though. So his uncle had been able to break it... but HOW?!

His ears twitched, hearing Axel's words and looked up, almost hopeufl when he saw the look on Mickey's face - something solemn and sad. He looked like he was about tp speak - about to reveal something that he definitly did NOT want to hear. So, he interuppeted before he could learn of it.

"No." Everyone gave him a confused look.

"But... don't you want to break it?" Sora asked softly. He didn;t know why he bothered asking though - he kenw their was a problem with Axel's notion because he had seen Gin cursing the leopard - Terra wasn't allowed to hear it, not matter what.

It kinda made him a little angry too... because He had a feeling mickey knew that... and had strung the already very deceieved animal into his game with false promises.

"Of course I do but the deal was to make sure you Shee were completely safe before any curses got broken. Riku just got lucky." He gave Axel a look then sighed. It wasn't like he knew how to fight in his human form anyways. "I can stand a few more weeks." He had a feeling though that it was going to be a lot longer than a few weeks.

Axel blinked as he was interrupted. Well HE was kinda... curious. He wanted to know how the curse was broken!
He pouted and crossed his arms, looking back at Roxas. "You have a LOT more willpower than I do." He nodded.

Riku slowly stood, helping Sora back to his feet as well. He looked at the King and Queen, frowning a bit.
"Now... what should we do? Is all we can do is wait for the forces to come looking for the Shee on the worlds?"
He didn't like playing the waiting game... but if that was all they could really do...

Minnie nodded.
"I think that is the safest thing to do for now."
Riku only frowned.
"It doesn't seem very safe for those three innocent people out there..." Xigbar not so much... but Demyx, Puppy and Aqua were at risk.

[Reno]

Roxas laughed softly, shaking his head. "I think EVERYONE has more willpower then you Axel."

"Now now," Mickey said to qualm the silverette's fears. "I think your underestimating all of them quite a bit. There strong then you know." He smiled a bit mysteriously, then looked at all of them. "and we will be busy as well preparing for the fight. If I know Xehanort he'll be lying in wait, thinking he's letting you guys waft under a false sense of security. Unless he had gotten wind of our movement he won't attack for at least half a month."

He looked over then then sighed. "for today, Donald and Goofy will be your guides. They'll show you around the castle and if you so therefore wish, for something to eat as well as your quarters and other such things."

The six nodded slowly.

The trip around the castle was actually rather long. They were re-shown the basement which was in fact a gummi ship hanger. The courtyard of course they were shown again. They also got to see the kitchen - in which turned out to be lunch time for Terra and Axel. After that they were show the training rooms they would be using the next day - along with their quarters.

The best thing about it for Axel was he could actually SLEEP in the bed now. Mickey had made sure to cover his bed in the ssame magic the castle grounds was covered in so the red-head would at least get a good night;s sleep - unfortunetly when the red-head came back to ask if he could do that for Roxas he told him that it wasn;t possible. The Shee's magic was much stronger then his own and the spell wouldn't work. If Roxas knew how to cast it though... well that would be soemthing for training for another day. For Axel they had even made sure to leave a big pot a water in his room so he could douse his hands when he needed to touch other things.

The only unfortunate thing was that yes the guardians and shee sitll had to share rooms. despite all the precautions mickey had taken he still wanted the guardians to be as close as they possible could be.

The rooms weren;t the only thing they saw however. They had gone up to the high towers - roxas favorite place almost instantly. He could oversee the whole kingdom from there but most of all... it was just the height. He had once dreamt of a similar place when he sleptwalked out the window when he was 8. He had been horribly tempted to just spread his wings and jump off, just to see if he COULD fly.

They had also seem the library - shockeningly Terra's favorite place. Ven hadn;t been able to stop laughed and the wolf nosed through the books curiously - and then the wolf shocked then into showing them that he could indeed read. He held the books in his teeth and then held them open with his paws, nudging through them with his nose. Donald sighed eventually and told
Terra that if he wanted to come back and read them and have lessproblems with it to allow one of the helper brooms flip the pages for him and hold it up. After that notion they had to DRAG the wolf away. Sora had laughed, thinking it was adorable that such a fierce animal partook in such a simple pastime such as reading. who would have guessed?!

The castle had a very small ballroom - and it had a little stage too. Goofy had told them that it wasn't often used anymore because whenever they did have a dance there were too many people to fit in the small place. Now their dances were held in the throne room. This roomw as now a 'training' room. Sora and Roxas' eyes lit up when they saw it but for different reasons. Sora gave riku a sly smile, already thinking about all the hours they could sppend 'working on their dancing' while roxas gave Axel a look, knowing it was quickly going to become the red-head's favorite room. Roxas already had plans to start practicing his singing on the little stage.

Eventually night fell... and the boys had to say goodnight - ut now that they had been let go they needed to talk to each other. So the three retired - with an askance for privacy from their guardians - and went into what Donald had called the 'meditation room'. It was just a small room painted in a soft blue for focus. It had little pillows on the ground for people to sit on and relax as they meditated. he said it was typically used for mages like him who were trying to focus their magical energy in peace and quiet.

But now the three were locked away inside, talking to each other and catching up as much as they could. Roxas would tell a few funny stories of how Axel accidently burned off Iago's tail feather's, or told them about his experience singing in the Atlantic - or even meeting Demyx.

Sora told them about the thousand of puppies he had met, sailing the seas of port royal, of playing games with the animals of a storybook. He told them about teaching riku how to dance too.

Ventus spoke of his time of scaring kids at Halloween Town, of the silly things Terra had done (Roxas and Sora got a good laugh trying to imagine the pumpkin ornaments that hung form his horns the first day they got there) and of the short stay at Dragoon meeting Aqua and Xigbar.

They all remenised about their birthday they had missed togehter - told them about the things they had done or much they had missed each other. they speculated about their parents and how they were doing - 'We should ask mickey tommorrow' Sora had said, knowing the king would know best. They spoke and spoke and spoke sometimes about nothing - sometimes about everything.

Ventus had just finished a hilarious story of how Jack 'the pumpkin king' tried to BE 'sandy claws' when Roxas turned towards Sora, a question that had been boiling on his mind finally finding it's voice. "So... how DID Riku's curse break anyways?"

The laughter fell away and Sora looked at his youngest brother. He shifted uncomfortably. "I uh..." He bit his lip, feeling hs heart beat speeding up a little in silent panic. It had been such an abrupt question that he... didn't know how to react. He was a little scared though - what would his brothers think of him when he told them?

He took a deep breath, gathering his courage, "Okay I'll tell you but you have to promise not to get mad."

Roxas blinked. "'course not."

Sora looked up at both of them, his eyes serious. "I mean it. Swear on the honor of the balloon festival that you won't get mad!"

Roxas frowned a little, afraid of this. The only time any of them forced each other top pray on the 'honor' of the festival was when they had something really serious to share. He rasied his hand to his heart, smiling. "I swear."

Sora looked and Ventus, getting the same response and took a deep breath. "A-Alright... I sort of um..." He shifted, his cheeks flushing in embrassment but his eyes alighted by fear. Yet Sora was a brave person when it came to being who he was and he wasn;t ashamed of what had happened that night. He just prayed his brothers would understand him and not... cast him out of the family or something horrible like that. "I kissed him."

"....."

"....."

"....."

"You WHAT?!" Roxas finally broke out.

"You said you wouldn't get mad!"

"I'm not it's just... just... wow..." Roxas started to flush uncomfortably. Well, he might as well jump into the fire too. He felt his stomach twist in nervousness - damn he needed to be braver! "Cause um... I'm sorta dating Axel."

"WHAT?!"


Outside of the room, the three guardians milled, unable to hear much of anything. However Axel was trying - his ear was pressed again the door. Imps, such nosy creatures.

"Leave them alone Ax." Terra said, laying out on the floor, yawning tiredly. He wished they would hurry up so he and Ventus could head back to their room and go to bed. "They have every right to their privacy."

Riku blinked as Mickey stated that they were stronger than they looked. He frowned but nodded.
He had to wonder...


Axel thought the tour of the place was absolutely fun. He LOVED looking at new places and waved happily to everyone they bumped into... which were usually brooms with legs.
The kitchen... was his absolute FAVORITE place in the castle. It was huge and had every sort of food you could think of off every world. He nodded some familiar ones from Agrabah, and Atlantica.
Needless to say, him and Terra dug for it all.

However, when his small stomach was full, he only sighed. He had learned that he couldn't sleep with Roxas... and that made him rather sad. He kinda wished he was back on Atlantica... at least there he could hold Roxas's hand.... give him a hug.... sleep with him... and even.... well.... hold him.

They did however put a large pot of water in their holdings... THAT WAS HUGE. God, he could bounce around in that room all day and was sure to find new stuff all the time.

They left the rooms and started back on their tour. They went to a high town, Axel smiling as he looked over the place. It reminded him of his hometown before it got poisoned from the darkness. He had a favorite spot atop a clock tower. He smiled as he saw Roxas's smile. He looked really happy... maybe a bit TOO happy.

They then went to the library and almost feel over as Terra pushed THROUGH him. HELLO!? Did he look like a door!? He huffed but blinked as he heard Roxas's twin start to laugh as the beast started to sniff at the books, knocking them over like some klutz and started to randomly read.
Riku and Ventus literally had to take Terra's tail and drag him out.

The ballroom made him grin, looking down at Roxas. This seemed familiar. A little blush ran over his face as he whistled and looked away. That was such a great day! He even caught Riku blushing and made an impish smile. He'd have to ask what THAT was all about!

They came to an armory where Ventus seemed to go nuts. He ran around, looking at all the cool weapons that had three inches of dust on them. Looked like he really was cut out to be the head of an army.

When night fell, the boys asked to talk in private. Mickey agreed and had Donald bring them to the meditation room. It was sound-proof for the most part and when Axel was going to walk in, the door shut in his face. "H-Hey!"
"What do you not understand by the word 'private'?" Riku tilted his head and grinned.
"Absolutely nothing!"


Ven... was quite jealous. Sora... SORA.... got to be a pirate! He always dressed up to be like one at Halloween.... but... both his brother's were extremely jealous of him... because Ventus got to meet the big man in red. Santa Claus! And the Easter bunny! But they all winced a bit as he explained that he loved eating bugs and worms.

He smiled when he heard that Roxas was actually in a concert, and Sora was able to be in a children's story book. He was kinda sad though... that they got to do something they always wanted... but not one hot air balloon bumped into him.

He told his brother's about the sea dragon on Dragoon. Roxas didn't believe it but Sora was dazzled.
They had also asked what Xigbar was like... and Ven just shrugged. "He was old and ugly."
He also told them about the crazy bitch with the blue hair.

Just as he was done telling his brother's about the 'Sandy Claws' incident, Roxas spoke up.

Ven blinked and looked over at Sora. "Yea... I thought their curses couldn't be lifted until they were done protecting us..."
Sora grew that shy nature on him, and Ven grew a wicked smile... but he blinked it away when he was told to swear on the 'honor'. Man... this was a BIG secret.

He leaned in as Sora started and blinked, his eyes going wide. He KISSED Riku?
And then... Roxas. Dating Axel? He could NOT see his other hot head brother dating a good like that!
"But... isn't he like... WAY older than you??" Ven questioned.


"COME ON! COME ON!" A black leathered butt waved back and forth as Axel tried to peer through the keyhole. All he could see was the boy's laughing... and then blushing. HE WANTED TO CRASH THE SLUMBER PARTY!
He blinked when Terra started and sighed, leaving the doors finally and plopping down next to Riku who was now eating.

"Let's have our own chat huh!? I was some hot Arabian dude, showing off my body and it was hot hot hot! Then I was a pretty fish who danced in the concert and that was pretty hot too!"

All Riku and Terra do was look at the imp, not looking too impressed.
"WHAT!?"


Far off on another world, a wolf like fish was yipping happily as a dead star fish was flung through the water. His tail wagged as he swam after it and caught it, swimming back and handing it back to the blonde. He panted and yipped again happily, doing flips in the water.
Again! Again!


A sigh came out, the breath showing from the cold night. Long hair fell over the balcony as a golden eye looked up at the forever lasting moon of Traverse Town. This place, like Halloween Town, was always night.
For once in his life... he was pretty lonely...

Roxas blushed a little, scratching the back of his head. "Six years."

"That's a lot!" Sora said, but their was a teasing quality in his voice, his grin wide.

"No it's not!! And hey Riku's older then you too!" The blonde shot back.

"By THREE years. At least he's still in his teens! You're dating an old man!"

Roxas pouted, crossing his arms. "He is NOT old." Then suddenly he paused, realizing something. He glanced at Ventus, rasiing an eyebrow. "Hey wait why didn't you freak out? Me and Sora just came out of the closet for god's sake..." Of course he did have to consider that out of all the shocks in their life they had had lately - making being gay was the least surprising. Afterall - they were FAIRIES for god's sake. There were DRAGONS out there in the universe and other such things...

"Unleeeeeesss...." Sora started with a wide grin. Well, it made sense if he thought about it. He was gay, Roxas was gay - so subsequently so should Ventus. They WERE triplets after all.


Terra chuckled at the red-head's enthusiasm, laying his head down and shutting his eyes. He was tried. This day had been as much of a shock for the Shee as it had been for him. Afterall - finding out Xigbar was an Atterian and not only that but his Uncle and NOT ONLY THAT he broke the curse... well that was enough to last him a lifetime. He needed to stop having all these surprises - he was gonna have a heart attack one of these days.

"Well, one thing is for certain Axel - the only way you're hot is when you touch something and burn it to a crisp." The wolf said nastily, grinning a bit. Not like he had room to talk. He was a wolf with horns after all... "I however got to change back to my human form for a day." He said proudly, licking his lips. He could still remember how much more free he had felt that day - able to walk around on two legs, able to open doors without scratching and waiting for Ven, able to cook pumpkin seeds and make jello, able to build a fire... and.... do the things he had done with Ventus...

"You think when all this is over Mickey'll allow us to visit the planets again?" He asked glancing at them. They knew the mouse had strict rules against 'meddling'. "Ventus already misses Halloween Town." He sighed, remembering the night they had left and how he had yelled at the blonde only making him cry worse. He REALLY needed to work on his people skills. But it was hard when his whole life was based off of the teachings of his own childhood.

Yet he'd already broken away this much... maybe he could figure out what compassion is by the end of this.


Demyx laughed as Puppy came back, taking the fish. "Alright, Alright." He yanked his hand back then flung it. "Fetch Puppy!" He laughed as the pup charged off. He really was like a sweet new pet.

He sighed a bit, looking around the cold waters. At least he had company. But he still wondered how Axel and Roxas were doing. When Puppy came back he reached out, petting him. "You know I hope they're alright. I wish I understood more of this... but I guess I'm not that bright." He laughed softly, shaking his head. "I guess all we have to worry about now is protecting this world... somehow." He flung the fish again. "Fetch!"

He smiled a bit. The good thing was he was surronded by water so therefore... he could manipulate it all with his music couldn't he? Thats why he made sure to keep his sitar strapped to his back at all times now. He couldn't take the chance of getting attacked.

"Maybe I shoulda asked Rox to change you back..." He murmured thoughtfully as Puppy came back. He wondered... why the wolf had attacked them in the first place.


Aqua sighed, spinning her spear on her fingertips, the stars littering the sky above her. She danced across the sand with some fancy footwork, striking out at invisible enemies at every direction. "Aha!" She slammed the spear down, a small wave of sand rising before hitting the ground with a soft whisper.

She panted, sweat running from her brow. She reached up, wiping it away and glancing off into the distant ocean, seeing the form of Regole jumping around in the water, soft roars ecoing every now and then. She was always much more playful at night.

How did she keep herself occupied all the time? Did she ever get bored?

Aqua sighed glancing around and sititng on the sand, fake wings fluttered in the wind. She wondered... how everyone else was getting along. She definitely had to say Ventus' brothers were a lot more cheerful looking then he himself was - but maybe that was Terra's influence on him. they had the look about them that they had been traveling together for quite awhile and the wolf;s bad attitude would wipe off onto anyone if you stuck around too long.

She chuckled softly, thinking about Xigbar. She wondered if he knew Traverse Town - she knew he had been a traveler back before he became a guardian - though his past was only so detailed to her. Lots of things he had never told her of. Like family. All he said was that they were dead...

Ventus grinned as Roxas looked at him. "Sora just said he KISSED Riku... that didn't mean he was dating him!" He teased back, obviously seeing Sora's blush. So... they both fell for their guardians... They must of been really... nice to win over the hearts of his siblings.

He blinked though when Sora suddenly got into his face. His eyes suddenly widened as he looked from Sora to Roxas. "W-what!? My guardian is a fucking dog for god's sake! That's gross!" He looked away, his own small blush coming out.
There was no way he was telling his brothers that... Terra had... given him a fellatio...

Boy had talked about it at school... but he never really bothered listening in. He was more concerned about finding someone to fight.


Axel pouted and crossed his arms again. Pfft, he was too hot! That was why Roxie liked him!! He was an instant hot tub! What guy could resist that!?

Riku blinked, looking up as he pushed some salad into his mouth. Yes... Riku ate salad no matter how much Axel joked that only women ate salad... than again, Riku had long hair. Riku quickly reminded the imp that HE had long hair too.

"You changed?" He asked as he finished swallowing. He knew he had taken Ventus to Halloween Town... but that place never got blue moons. "How?"


The pup swam back and forth as Demyx flung the star. When the blonde started to ask about Roxas, the poor little guy was panting hard. He was so tired! He was only a little puppy!
He swam to Demyx's face and suddenly licked him. It was really the first time the pup showed much affection... beside sleeping with the blonde every night. Usually, he just wanted to play or chase things.

He yipped happily and swam around Demyx once before floating around tiredly.


There was a reason why Xigbar didn't tell her much... didn't tell anyone much. Quite honestly... he tried to forget his own past. He had found a new life... that was a lot more meaningful... He no longer craved mindlessly for power... it had gotten worse when his brother had found himself a mate. They no longer spent the time they had before.

The most he had seen his brother after he found her... was whem Master Xehanort came down and offered them the most desired placement in the ranks of species... and the invasion.

No, Xigbar didn't want to remember that.
The people of Dragoon knew him as a guardian. A guardian. As if. The only reason why he could see Regole in the stone was because he had Shee power... the power he had gotten when he killed women and children...

His golden eye looked down as he sighed again.
Yea... real hero...
Slowly he left the balcony and walked back inside the inn hotel he was staying at.
He did lie though... about the Shee that saved his life...

Sora just laughed. "Yeah but when he DOES get to become a human again..." He winked then chuckled a bit, laying on on the pillows he had surronded him and his brothers with, stretching out as it he were going to sleep. The cieling above was covered in a painting - the painting of a universe - galazies and stars, constellations. Supposedly this would be good for astromony too. He pulled his hands behind his head, smiling.

"You know if Riku does ask me out... I'd probably say yes." Sora admitted, blushing a bit.

Roxas laughed, falling down on the pillows as well. "Well at least he seems somewhat SANE. Axel's just... crazy."

"Well..." Sora pouted. "Yeah can't argue with that."

"What... do you think mom and dad are gonna say when we go home and tell them?" Roxas asked, frowning a bit.

"....uhhhh...." Sora laughed nervously. "Think we could get by for awhile NOT telling them? Dad and mom didn't like them in the first place... they might just try and kill them. Or think we were hyponotized or something!"


"It actually makes a lot of sense now that I think about it. It only counts if their is a blue moon on my world - not on any others." He sighed. "If it counted for all the worlds then i'd probably be human all the time."

He yawned again, laying his head down and shutting his eyes. "It was actually rather fun. I hadn't gotten to actually cook for myself in five years."

Terra glanced at Axel, seeing he was still pouting about his earlier comment. "Stop making that face. Roxas'll never fall for you if you keep looking like a pathetic wounded bird." It wasn't really hard to guess how much the greedy imp liked Roxas - he had made it obvious practically every day when they had been watching the Shee from the shadows of the trees - and even though at first Terra thought it was just out of selfishness and the wish to hear the blonde's singing voice, the minute he started to smell testosterone he knew. The red-head at the very least, was very physically attracted to the blonde.


Demyx laughed as he got licked, petting the pup. "Good Puppy." He saqw the other one panting, all tuckered out and chuckled. "Come on, time for bed." He reached up, curling his hands around the dogfish and swam over to the cove he now claimed as his and Puppy's, getting under all the seaweed. Tommorrow would be another day.


Aqua sighed as she stared up at the moon, standing slowly. "Well... guess it's bed time." It was an overly quiet night... and without Xigbar around it was also quite boring. She had no one to tease anymore!!

At least the waters were calm tonight. she smiled, assured tonight would be safe as she headed back for home. This guarding job wasn;t so hard!

Ven sighed softly as he laid down as well, looking up at the painting. He frowned as he listened to his brother's talking about their first love.

"Pfft, who needs girls! We have each other right!?"
"Yea!"

Well... technically, they weren't girls. He felt jealousy again. His brother's got nice guardians... and guardians that weren't related to what killed their race.
They... fell in love with their guardians.

And him...
He turned away and closed his eyes, trying to block out his brothers.


Axel's eyes widened and he started to flail. "You really think so!?" He suddenly put on a real big grin. "Ishdisbetta?" He asked through his teeth as he looked at Terra and Riku.

Riku only chuckled and nodded. "Oh yea... anyone can fall for that face... especially with those horns and fangs of yours."
Axel blinked and poked the little black horns on his head before looking at Riku again. "Oh yea! By the way... how did you cure yourself?"

Riku stopped eating as the question came up, looking at the others. "Uh..." He face started to blush a bit. "Well uh... Sora kinda helped me." Axel leaned in closer and smiled impishly. "Yeaaaa?"
"Uh... we..... kissed?"
"AND YOU GOT YOUR EYESIGHT BACK!? No fair!" The imp huffed. "I made OUT with Roxas and I'm still an imp."

Riku's eyes went wide. Made out... with him?
"Are you nuts!? He's the prince Shee, you're suppose to be guarding him and don't you think he's a LITTLE bit too young for you?"
Axel frowned and narrowed his eyes at Riku. "Well Soooooooooorry!"

Roxas didnlt notice and he was still tlaking about Axel - but Sora did and once his attention was drawn away roxas fell silent and they looked upon their brother for a few moments,

Sora sat up then and crawled over, laying down closer to Ven and wrapped his arms around the other. "sorry Ven~ Hey just look at the bright side when we DO get home all the girls are gonna TOTALLY have the hots for you."

Roxas laughed some. "Well, you know I bet they did even befiore we left. You know they like the bad ass attitude."


Terra looked up seeing the smile and laughed. "Don;t force it." He recommended. If Axel was giving them a true smile he might actually look nice in it.

The wolf looked towards Riku as the question was asked for the third time that day, and he saw the other's will giving away. He tail thumped cvuriously as Riku revealed the cause.

Then sighed in disappointment. "Donlt chastise him riku, you did it too... and i guess that counts me out as well." The two gave him a very, very odd look and he realized how bad that sounded. "Uh w-well..." he was NOT going to tell them what he did as a human. they'd call it - oh what was it Rape? - and then he'd never see Ventus again! "Everytime I lick him is a kiss to me. And he gave me a little kiss on the head the day of his birthday too... So... yeah."

He couldn't believe they'd all kissed their Shee though... they were horrible guardians. "I guess we need to figure out something else Axel. I suppose we shouldn't be surprised - Riku's been cursed less long than us and it was the least troublesome so of course it'd be an easy fix."

Ven sighed as he heard the stop. Great... now he was going to get the 'feel better' speeches that really never made him feel any better... unless it was over something really stupid.

But when he felt Sora's arm around him, he growled and suddenly pushed his brother away.
"Get off me!" He barked and got up. He face was red from anger as his hands formed into fist.
He was in one of his moods...

His blue eyes flashed down at his brothers, the frown still true on his face.
"I'm going to bed." He put bluntly as he walked over the pillows and opened the door.


Riku blushed and looked away slightly. "A peck isn't close to making out..." He mumbled before shoving salad into his mouth.
He blinked though when Terra brought up him being counted out. He looked up, seeing the wolf look a bit worried for a moment.

He smiled though, hearing about the licks. It sounded kinda cute for such a scary beast to lick someone.

Axel pouted and pulled at his hair. "I think I know how to break my curse... I need to stop acting impish! BUT HOW!? I AM AN IMP!"

Before he could get an answer, the door opened behind them. Axel's eyes went wide and looked back. "ROXA--- Oh, hey Ven~" He waved and smiled, only for the blonde to stomp pass him. The imp blinked as his small tail waved back and forth. What was up with him? He was headed back towards the rooms.

Sora blinked as Ventus suddenly pushed him back. "Ven!" He sat up befuddled as the other suddenly got out, storming from the room. "Ven!" He called again but was ignored.

Roxas frowned, getting up as well and sighed, shaking his head. God, he wished they had like warning signs for these sudden temperment explosions. Once the other had vacated the room he sighed. "Suppose we should go to."

Sora frowned, then slowly nodded, getting to his feet and walking out as well.


Terra looked up when the door suddenly slammed open and one of the blondes stormed past. HIS blonde. It was kinda easy to tell the two apart for him. they had completely different body languages when they were angry. Not to mention he saw Ven being pissed almost ALL the time. "Ven!"

He jumped to his feet - paws - and hurried after the other without as much as a goodbye. According to Riku they had to make them happy - unfortunetly Ven came with no manuals on 'how to make him happy'. He rushed after the other the whole way back to the rooms and came up beside him tentatively. "Ven...? what's wrong?"


Sora frowned as he walked out, seeing Axel and Riku's inquisitive looks and shrugged watching his brother's receding back. "i... don't know..."

"Pff, yeah you do." Roxas said, not sounding too happy either all of a sudden. He crossed his arms, "He's pissed just cause he found out i'm dating you," He nodded to Axel, "and that Sora kissed you." He nodded to Riku rolling his eyes. "Jealous much?"
