Riku rolled his eyes as Terra snapped. That wasn't what they were inclining. Looks like Terra hadn't gotten any better... maybe he had even gotten worse. Riku didn't remember the Atterian snap so easily.
Ven blinked when his brothers started to agree. He was glad... that he wasn't the only one. He watched the female mouse leave, then the king. Terra followed suit and then the dog and duck. Ven gave one more look at his brothers and nodded, racing up the stairs. Riku and Axel followed.
When they got to the hallway, the queen raised her hand and a small stream of light came from it, making a rectangle shape on the doors... and it majickly turned into a small door. Axel blinked, tilting his head.
Slowly the two mice walked in, followed by the larger wolf. Donald walked through as so did Goofy, minding his head. Ven ducked a bit too as he walked in, his eyes widening at the view. Was something so LARGE really necessary for... mice?
Riku walked in and last was Axel... but the silverette blinked when his side was... empty. He looked back and couldn't help but chuckle when he saw... Axel stuck in the door. "Uh... a little help?" Riku shook his head and reached out for Axel, feeling the heat come off him. He frowned a bit.
"Blizzard." He called softly, one of Axel's hand froze. The curse automatically turned it to water and Riku quickly pulled on his hand, making the imp fall flat on his face. "Thanks!" The redhead gave Riku a thumbs up and picked himself up.
Slowly they caught up with the others and stopped next to them.
Minnie stood in front of her throne, next to Mickey. She clashed her hands in front of her and looked at the six. A sigh came from her as she looked sad, shaking her head. "I guess we better start at the beginning." She looked at Terra and smiled softly. There would be some news... that he probably wouldn't want to hear.
"Terra..." She started. "Please don't beat yourself up with the information. It was before your time... and what happened is none of your fault. You've already done an amazing job if Ventus is still hear to listen. You've done a lot of good."
She sighed again softly. "It all started 15 years ago..."

Sora stared up towards the stained glass windows in amazement, seeing the colors reflecting off of them. they were SO high... who ever got around to cleaning them? and how?
He wondered idly if this was actually a castle for anyone who was the current King and Queen of the universe? Surely Mickey couldn't outlive the universe so they had to of been someone before him right? Or maybe not... That was a question and very very long story for another time he supposed. Instead... he was going to learn what happened to his parents... and his home planet.
Roxas glanced back, hearing Axel having some trouble. he paused momentarily, watching as Riku helped him through the door. The blonde Shee smiled lightly, laughing softly as the boy red-headfell onto the floor. He would of helped the other up but well... considering he couldn't touch him... the blonde spared him another glance before joining his brothers in front of the king and queen.
He took a deep breath for some reason feeling a little nervous. He... wasn't completely sure he wanted to know this story. He was scared of what it was going to reveal...
Terra sat down next to the other Shee, glancing to the side when Riku and Axel also got their. The six stood in a line in front of the two mice. Donald and Goofy had stayed at the other end of the throne room - but the voices were still easily carried to them as well. His ears twitched however when the queen suddenly addressed him specfically. His head bowed, frowning but nodded. Somehow that was not the most reassuring ways to start for him. He looked uop though when the mouse queen started to begin the story - her and Mickey trading off as they did. As the story was being told... the charms around the three Shee's neck glowed faintly and their eyes changed color, seeing the words as images - for the first time in a long time they were perfectly clear.
Fifteen Years Ago...
Norn was a beautiful world, highly advanced for it's time. And when it's said to be highly advanced no it does not mean TV sets (The Shee still embraced inner creativity and expandsion of the mind) it did not mena powerful weapons (they were already powerful enough on their own) and it did not mean a cure for all ailments and diseases (They got sick like everyone else).
When it was said to be 'highly' advanced it was advanced in such a way that their was no famine and no war. The whole word was a magical fountain practically overflowing with vitality - Shee's were advised to keep magic use at minimal because such things could disturb the planet's balance. Buildings were made of a variety of materials - most imports from other words. Palm wood from the Destiny Isles, corel and seashell from the Atlantians, red brick from Agrabah, steel from London, and so on and so forth. The planet was somethign else to behold - exotic and indiscriable. Their flowers espcally had something wonderful about them - purple iries with silver linings, blue tulips with orange stems, black roses with white leaves, fiery red stars with dazzling blue pistons. They took good care of their land and the influence of magic kept it alive.
The most important aspect on their world was the portals. They were little blue discs at several itnervals all around town that allowed for universally wide travel. Of course, one had to clear the okay with their king first before they left on any trips, but once it was given the discs were for free use to explore and make friends with all.
Everyone understood each other on their world... and beyond. Far, Far beyond. They tried to make peace with everyone. They had joined Mickey's ranks as those attempting for a universal peace. They were also a main part of his army - if there were to be - persay - any disturbances. And everyone knew it.
Most Shee were very calm-tempered and sweet that built bonds with everyone around them. They like everyone else had a sense of venegence in them as well though - which meant if an especally strong bond that was made with a best friend or lover was ever broken forcefully, it was not uncommon for a Shee to want to extract revenge.
However, this ideal, though understood, never sat well with their leader Jet. He was the king of their nation and was said to be the spitting image of his father before him but with an even stronger sense of justice. His people adored him...
And his wife Runa. Queen Runa was beautiful, no doubt about that. She had golden blonde hair that swirled in ringlets down her back, and her eyes were a calm sky blue, her face lean but very very kind and her smile was breathtaking. The only think she ever wore to show her alignment to royalty was a small golden circlet across her head - otherwise she dressed like everone else, acted like everyone else, and cared for everyone else. Lots of the younger yet braver Shee who weren't afraid to speak their mind around Jet teased him often getting the 'cream of the crop' the 'beauty of the village'. Especally Jet's best friend Gin.
The King and Queen together held peace on their world... and did their best to create it on others. However they, like any other species, had rivals. If Shee's were considered the 'bringers of life' their rivals would be the 'takers of life' - the shapeshifters. Atterians. The Shee lived a structured, mannered, organized and loving life.
But the Atterians... were beings that lived in anarchy. They had no leader, no sense of justice or fair play. They were greedy and gluttonious for power once introduced to it. they lvoed the idea of fighting and killing, or spilling blood over petty ideals or just to see who was stronger. They were rude and - most shocking of all - they didn't believe in love. Therefore many of the more bitter Shee termed them to be 'Renki' those that can not love of be loved. The hate war at least was 'peaceful' As far as fights went.. their were threats but the Atterians surprisingly kept their distance despite the strong lure of power wafting off a Shee. They were powerful creatures no doubt... but on the class of strength levels they barely touched the ice to what a Shee could do. So no fighting ever occured between the two races just a lot of bad manners.
"Oh! Mickey, Minnie. Did you come to see them?" Runa said, her eyes bright as she rocked once of her babies in her arms. She slowly set him down in the crib. Upon her back were beautiful bright red wings that stood up proudly - she was one of the few that could keep her wings out whenever she wished, Other shee had to regulate the time they kept their wings out so as not to cause misbalance with the world. The only exception to this were young children who couldn't yet control the power - especally her three babies.
"We sure did." Mickey said as he walked forward, looking into the crib where the three were. "Three."
"Yes, it was quite a blessing. Soran is the first born. Then Ventus... and we weren't expecting little Roxas. but there he is. My little trinity." Runa said with a soft chuckle, pointed down to the baby with black and white wings and soft blonde hair. Next to him sat the one she had been rocking - little Ventus with wings just like her own. These songs had picked up more of her looks... but she knew they would grow to be more like their father. her first born howerver, young Soran, with exotic-looking blue wings, looked more like their father and would probably have her temperment.
"So the necklaces are part of the custom correct?" Mickey asked.
"Yes." It wasn't an uncommon custom. When a child is born the father has a piece of something created to foretell what their position in later life will be (typically decided by the color of their wings). Some fathers had clothes made, other's anklets, others had hats made but their father... had necklaces made.
"Roxas is wearing the sideways cross of balance. Jet thinks he'll be the successor to the throne." Runa said softly, reaching down to finger at a wing. Roxas gave a soft gurgle, grabbing her finger and she smiled. She knew why Jet had said that - because Roxas had the rare color of black in his wings showing he was going to be something great one day.
"Ventus is wearing the broken cross-heart of passion." Runa giggled here, running her figners through her second son's blonde hair. "Jet thinks going to be a great warrior one day, brave and strong with a good sense of justice."
"And Soran... wears the crown of peace. It was meant to symbolize you Mickey and Minnie." The Shee said softly, looking at the mice. "Jet thinks Soran will have one of the kindest hearts even a Shee will ever see... and pure enough inside to listen to it." She reached down, poking Soran's cheek and the boy blinked at her, smiling.

Ven looked down slightly as Minnie addressed his guardian. At least, her words were much more kinder than what he heard from a lot of people about the Atterian race...
He looked back up as she started, the necklace around his neck started to glow faintly. His eyes started to turn yellow slowly as his hand reached up to hold the warm charm.
Axel blinked and he looked at the three Shee. They seemed to all be in a sort of trance. Spooky! Riku noted it as well but looked back as the two rulers told the tragic story...
Simple clothes flapped softly in the soft breeze. Very long, brown hair with senses of spikes at the end moved along with it as well. His hair was so long that he pulled some of it around to make it look like a scarf of some sort.
He wore casual clothing, his shirt unbuttoned though. It was unbuttoned to reveal a large charm that hung around a chain from his neck. It was silver and was known as the Atalanta. It was the symbol of Norn. Children or people who weren't familiar with the symbol just called is 'the sideways cross of balance'.
Who stood on the balcony, looking out over the land... was a young man named Jet.
He wasn't just 'Jet'. He was.... King Jet. Many people were a bit skeptical when Jet became their king. He was still... very young and a bit inexperienced. An unfortunate twist happened in the royal family though... People had warned Jet's father about marrying his wife. She had wild wings and hair. She was a free spirit.. not real material to be a queen.
They were right. The two bickered and fought constantly. Even after the heir to the throne was born, their marriage was in more trouble than any other Shee. Jet had to grow up hearing these fights... that's why... he had such a strong sense for justice. He hated fighting.
He was stuck in the castle listening to the fighting through the hall. However, one day his luck changed. A small ceremony was given to a young woman who was a Speaker of Norn. She had helped create many ties between other planets with her speeches of peace. Jet could not deny... that she thought the fair haired woman was very pretty.
After the ceremony, the prince caught her leaving. He thanked her again, not helping the blush in his face. Ever since then, the moment he knew she was back in Norn, he would excuse himself from the castle to 'see matters at the town'. He was always bashful when visited her... but then always had things to talk about.
He name was Runa and had the fire wings of a warrior. That technically meant that she was suppose to be a part of the Balance Army... but she chose public speaking for her career when the time came. He admired her greatly for her choice.
When he was 18, his mother left for another man. It was against Shee laws to leave your spouse but she had broken too many to begin with. After that, his father became heart sick. Even if they fought every day... he really loved her. It was against Shee laws for their to be a king with no queen... the balance of the world would be off if it was not given to two. His father had to remarry. The Shee became skeptical, things were slipping.
Since... one's destiny was based on their wings, they found the best mate for the king in not time, and started getting ready for the wedding. The king didn't make it for his own wedding. The night before he died of his heart sickness, he told Jet he had already married the woman of his dreams and that he should do the same.... no matter what wing color she might have. All travelers were to come back for the wedding, even if they were invited or not.
Jet was announced king the next day at the age of 22. The wedding... WASN'T canceled. Jet was to take his father's place to marry the older Shee. "You must marry someone that YOU love... and that YOU know who will bring balance to Norn. No one else, no matter what."
The night before the wedding, Jet apologized to the woman he was suppose to marry the next day... that.... he just couldn't marry his father's bride. Thankfully, she didn't think she was even fit to be a queen... and would rather continue her career as a tailor. No one else knew about this... and that was what he wanted.
When he stood at the altar with Shee wedding clothes, the guest invited looked around, noting that the bride was no where to be seen. Even Runa, who was invited because of her rank as a traveler was a bit confused. "She won't be coming... she's working on shoes today." Jet put happily. Everyone blinked. "But... who will you marry, your honest?" One asked. It was a wedding day after all.
Jet only smiled and pointed to a woman with fair hair. "Her. Lady Runa." The crowd gasped and stepped away from the fire winged Shee. She... seemed to be as surprised as they were. "But... I'm in no shape for a wedding." She had said. "No matter. You're always beautiful to me." He smiled before looking at the guards in front of the large doors of the throne room. "Guards! Open the door! Let everyone in! This is a celebration for all to enjoy!"
That was the kind of person Jet was.
He didn't take his father's crown either. He let that be placed under glass. Instead of a crown, he held a staff with the rarest of jewels at the top of it.
He blinked, hearing the sound of someone walk behind him. He turned, not seeing anyone. He raised a brow, walking back into the castle. That was when he heard the sounds of people talking. Familiar people. He smiled was he walked down the hall, the staff taping on the floor. He stopped when he reached an open room and looked in, seeing six figures.
The birth of the Trinity... couldn't of been more joyful. It was good luck and a blessing. There was never a recorded Shee to bare triplets in the history or Norn. The gloom and fear of imbalance left the heart of the Shee when they were born.
"Twins!?" The young king had exclaimed as his happy wife nodded. "Ah! That's wonderful Runa! My sweet love will give me twins."
The morning she went into labor... they got a little extra than that.
A strong hand held onto another as breathing filled the air. The man's face twisted when the first son came out from the hidings of a blanket. He had silver and blue wings wrapped around his body... just like his. Wings of Peace. The second... had fire wings like his mother. Wings of Passion. Jet smiled as his second son was place on a towel. He slowly let Runa's hand go to see the babies. It wasn't a second pass when she suddenly snatched it again.
His eyes widened as he looked back at her. Something was wrong! "Runa!" "Another one!" She cried. Another.... one? What did she mean? That... was impossible.... Yet... a few minutes later... another baby was taken out. His wings... black and white. Wings of Balance. The most rare wings a Shee could have.
They were known as the Trinity.
"You came..." The young man smiled as he walked into the room. The ladies-in-waiting bowed as their king walked into the room. He looked down, a large smile over his face as he bowed softly. "King Mickey.... Queen Minnie... It's so good to see you again."
He looked over, seeing his wife standing over the three cradles. His smile only brightened as he walked over to her and nuzzled her affectionately. "How is my beautiful wife and Trinity doing?"

The three figures in the nursery looked back when they heard a new voice enter in. Mickey smiled when he saw the young king, nodding his head to the other's words. "And you as well. But you know you don't have to bow." Everyone knew the king of the universe strived for equality among everyone - so he tried to encourage people NOT to bow. He felt as if the act of bowing would lower the understanding two people could share. Yet, even after years of trying and knowing the young prince, Jet still bowed. Maybe just simply out of politeness.
Runa smiled, giving him a quick kiss on his cheek. "Same as we were doing a few hours ago~ except Ventus finally stopped fussing so much." She had a feeling her second son would live up to his wings - he already had a bit of stubbornness to show and she felt a fighting spirit was brewing inside of him.
Runa herself had grown in the middle-class world. Her wings had been inherited by her father - who she knew very ltitle of. He had died when she was still very young, but her family still spoke proud stories of his last moments. He had been part of the army like his wings foretold - and had died on a world full of nymphs fighting off a rogue Atterian that had stepped over it's boundaries. The world had been saved thanks to his and other shee's efforts - but his life had not been spared.
Though Runa had been very very young... she did not hold the same idealization that her family held for her father. she saw nothing beautiful in death - nothing wonderful about leaving her mother to cry at night and her left without stories to be told or days of tucking in to be had. there had been nothing good that came from his death except stories of bravery. She lvoed her dad - but she had not been proud of his death.
That was why when she turned the age of career choosing, she turned and became a motivational speaker rather then join the army like her relatives had expected her too. They had believed she would be like her father - yet she had taken a career similar to a orange wing, the wings of change. Their had been a lot of disagreement and skepticism about her chioice - who would lsiten to a bright-winged woman like her? It was said those with the softer colors are the ones who would invoke calmness and peace - those with the vibrant colors like herself would invoke hate and disordence.
Yet she had proved them all wrong. No one could fight her decision - Shee's had their individuality after all - and she took her job just like her wings detonated. Passionately. She was the best in the market for it... and soon she had been recognized for her efforts.
Coming before the king had been a terrifying affair. She like everyone else had to get the permission to leave to other worlds from the king - but messenger Shee carried the answers of her questions and of coruse she had seen him preaching from afar but... she had never met him herself.
And even whats more... she met the prince as well. Jet. It hadn't been the first time she had seen HIM up close of course. Jet had the wings of peace, that included inner peace. He traveled the towns often, solving petty quarrels among kids or a shop keeper and a customer often. But she had never spoken to him ebfore that day either.
"Young Runa, despite your wing color you have done something grand and unexpected for Norn. What is your ultimate goal?" The King had inquired curiously. "I... would one day like to reach the heart of the Atterians." She had said that day. Everyone else in the room had laughed - they thought she was joking. But that truly her goal. she believed no good came from the senseless war going on between their species and others. She thought they had hearts in them and didn't believe in the horrid names that Shee partook to calling them. They weren't Renki - if they couldn't love then they wouldn't even care for their own young. They wouldn't mark their mates in a possesive yet loving way. And they definitely wouldn't have their own ceremony of 'marriage' - though they called it blood bonding. Blood bonding had made her more curious then any other tradition the shapeshifters took part in. It was common for a male mate to mark a female mate in an area that would commonly be seen by all. That mark typically came in the middle of the act of sex - and from what she heard the scar was bitten into EACH time the two mated. But when a certain number of years had been met, a blood bonding ceremony was held. It was a simple affair, and typically done in the quiet of their own home. the male made would cut himself with a knife, spilling his blood into a bowl - and then the female would do the same, joining her blood with his. And each drank half of it - binding their bloods. Then, that night during sex, the male would reenforce the mark he had made... and the female would in turn create one of her own, forever marking him as hers. Yet, she did not try to explain herself. She did not say another world even as her cheeks burned in shame and she looked away from them to contain her fury. Byt eh time she had gone, she had thanked them stiffly and left, her flight faster then she had done in a long while.
Yet there had been one who had lsitened to her words, had been curious of her radical thoughts... and kept visiting to ask her about them. It was the prince himself.
At first their meetings had been uncomfortable and strange. she had been a bit shy, he had been completely bashful, yet when he asked her about things she felt deeply for... he saw the passion she had been born with as she spoke and learned quickly why she WAS the best at her job. She had words that could move nations.
They had fallen in love. Or at least she had fallen for him. His almost shy nature and kind disposition had caught her quickly. Everyone knew of his disorganized family life and she herself had elarned very intamitely how the effects of his parents fighting had hurt him... and yet strengthed his resolve to pacify others if possible when they fought.
That was why people were skeptical of the boy with the wings of peace. They said the blue-winged prince could never lead their nation in times of war, that he had a big heart but could never lead an army to their deaths if it came to that. Yet... Runa knew they were wrong. In his eyes she saw something no one else did. A protective strength that came from years of attempting to protect relations. If the time came for war, she knew he would step up like a true king and do what was necessary for his people - and if possible what was necessary for his enemies as well. He was going to be a rgeat king - and to her shock...
She became his queen. She had been heartbroken when she had learned that Jet would be marrying off to his dead father's supposed wife, had almost considered not showing up for fear of crying, however, in the middle of all, he told them he had denounced the women who had been chosen... and then pointed her out.
At first she had been shocked - and then stammered out excuses of how underdressed she was for it and yet... somehow she found herself at the alter, the ceremonial ribbon being tied around their wrists, binding herself to him. And it was the most beautiful moment of her life.
The second most beautiful... was when she had her sons. Three little children had come from her that night, all beautiful and lovely. A brunette with the blue wings of peace like his father, a blonde with the red wings of passion like his mother, and another blonde with the wings of balance. She had watched as the three were all checked, their wings delicately cleaned and maintained, and she and Jet got to see their first smiles and the first fluttering of their wings, as if already ready for flight. It hadn't been enough that she had born triplets - the first ever in the history of the Shee - but that she had also birthed a black and white winged son. Her mother would have been so proud.
However her mother - and their grandmother, had died the year before they were born. she had been enthralled at her daughter's marriage but she still had a job to do. she had the green wings of life - and worked as an importer and exported of goods. she brought in the materials they needed for buildings, exotic foods, and curious inventions and in exchange for that she traded in stunning pieces of jewelry, their own staple foods and even soemtimes animals that lived on Norn.
Yet one day, when he mother had been off on an expedition to a country-side world, she had gone down into a mine-shaft with some of the locals, looking for some of their gems to bring back. The mine had collasped and her mother, being as old as she was, hadn't been powerful enough to make it out alive - and only one of the miners she had gone in with had been able to survive. It had torn up runa inside. she knew her mother hadnl;t meant to die like that, knew had she been ten years younger she would have been fine and strong and healthy enough to get herself and everyone free, but with age for some Shee, especally those with the less vibrant wings, came the lessening of magical energy. Life had just simply been against her.
Runa however, did not let the trajedy that bestruck her family lessen her own willpower and strength. She was still the queen of a whole nation... and she was going to do this new job as well as her old. She had promised Jet that much.
Soran looked up from his crib as his father came close, waching the curious display above him with wide blue eyes. He was the little explorer - he loved to see new things and eat all the different types of food. Everything was like a new wonder to him and as long as if didn't seem dangerous he wasn't afraid to get a closer look at it.
Roxas had curled up on one of his fluffy stuffed animals, his wings twitched and his eyes lidded. He looked like he was ready for a nap.

Jet smiled happily and nodded. "I'm sorry... but... I just feel weird if I don't." He said playfully, a little blush on his face. His playful and childish nature made everyone skeptical at first... but just because he was young at heart... doesn't mean he couldn't take care of his people.
He was a bit shocked that day when Runa had said that her ultimate goal was to bring peace between Atterians not only to the Shee, but the other races they terrorized. But his face reddened when everyone started laughing at her. He didn't think it was funny. He saw the hurt on the woman's face, not even believing that his father was even chuckling...
Her idea... opened his heart though. She might not of been a part of the Balance Army... but her wings held true. One had to be very passionate to see the good in the Atterians.
When they started meeting each other, it was very bashful at the beginning. Neither of them... really could look at each other. Jet would use the excuse that he had to tend to his sick father... which wasn't a lie... but he could of stayed longer. He didn't know why he did this... he was the one going LOOKING for her. However, after a few visits, her eyes begged him not to go. he couldn't say not to those eyes...
After a month or so, they started to laugh happily together, her telling him of her travels and he father as he spoke about his ideals for the future. They had one major thing in common. They wanted to make peace with the Atterians. He only talked about it with her...
As for love... he was too preoccupied with his father's health... and his soon to be step-mother. When his father died, he didn't visit Runa again... but she would see him in the next week. He knew she was going to be heartbroken... but he hoped she'd be there... it was her wedding day! Even if she didn't know it! He knew marrying her... would make both him and Norn happy.
Their nights together were fun... and instead of fighting or gloom, the castle was filled with laughter. Within a few days of being king, Jet changed some things. Everything became open door. He wouldn't shut away people from things. If someone had a problem, they could just walk right in. Travelers now talked personally to Runa before using portals... no more notes or seals. The Balance Army was renamed the Peace Army.
As for war, Jet wasn't too worried about that. The army was very strong as is. Since it was now the Peace army, Jet made clear that even if they do to go war, they would urge a peace treaty. When people started to laugh, his blue eyes became sharp. He wasn't making a joke! Everyone stopped and nodded.
When Runa's mother died, Jet held a small ceremony for her. The Shee didn't want death to be a sad thing... but a happy thing. If a Shee died of old age, the celebration was much more happier. They had lived their life out the fullest. As for Runa's mother, her death was a tragic ending. Even if Runa tried to keep strong, Jet knew she was hurting on the inside.
That night, he made things extra special. He gave her a moonlight dinner and called a hot bath to be made for her with exotic flowers. When she was ready to come out, he brought her a towel and wrapped her up in it... far away from the flowers though. There were some roses in there... and he was allergic to them! They always made him sneeze up a storm. When she was dried up, he picked her up and brought her to their beautiful bedroom and closed the door.
That night was the first night they made love with each other... and a month later, she was announced pregnant.
Jet smiled and nodded, looking down at the blonde with the fiery wings. He was quite the trouble maker already. He always cried when Runa stopped feeding him.
That was another thing he loved about his wife. She demanded that SHE breast fed her own children. Jet had had a wet nurse. Royalty was a bit ridiculous here and there. Jet always asked if she needed one when she was weary after feeding all three, but she said she was ok.
He smiled as he saw the blue eyes of his eldest son. He leaned down, lending his finger to the boy. He smiled even more when he felt a little hand wrap around his finger. His other hand reached down, running through the soft brown hair. As a father, it was his job to pick his children's careers at birth. This was all based on their wings. The wings usually held true to the Shee's free will... except for some wild children here and there like Runa.
Knowing that his wife had chose a different route, he was lenient to what his boys would want best... but he still needed to assign them. Soran had his wings of peace... so he would be the leader of Travelers. He would continue his mother's job to bring peace to other worlds. Or he could possibly be a high member of King Mickey's Court of Justice.
As for Ventus, it was obvious that he would be the High Constable of the Peace Army. He knew his wife didn't like the thought of death... but Jet reminded her of the Peace part.
And... like any child to a king... there had to be an heir to the throne. This was one of the choosing that could not be changed. Roxas... would be the next king of Norn. He was the rare Shee with wings of balance... and the first triplet in the history of Shee. He would bring Shee under years of enlightenment. He hoped when his children were old enough... that they would accept Roxas to be heir. If not, that was going to cause much trouble.
Slowly he pulled his hands away from Soran and ran another hand through Ventus's hair, hearing a bit of whining from him as he tried to sleep.
He smiled when he went to Roxas's crib, his eyes easily meeting the rare wings. What a blessing. They were ALL a blessing.. but he would of never imagined to be a father of a rare wings Shee. Slowly he reached down and pulled up the little boy gently. "Today is Roxas's day." He said happily.
Two days before, Jet had taken Soran to the council room in the castle. It was large with many chairs in front of desk. Each chair had a world name on it. Speakers of each world would come on dates as the alliance of worlds would hold meetings. In the middle were two chairs. One for the leader Traveler, and the other for King Mickey. Jet had walked down to the one chair with Soran and smiled. "This is where you'll sit one day."
The day after, he took Ventus to the military camp that was far off. A large building was empty as they walked into it. Jet looked up at the podium and smiled. "You'll be standing up there one day... being strong and passionate."
Today... he pulled up Roxas. He placed his staff in the corner and looked back at the three. "Please excuse me." He smiled and bowed slightly before he left the room. He walked down the hall with his third son and out to the balcony he was standing on once before. He smiled as he breathed in the wind and looked over the land. He pointed out, hoping his son would follow his finger. "This will be yours one day. Well.... not YOURS but... you know what I mean." He chuckled.
He sighed softly, letting the breeze pick up his long hair. "Hopefully by the time you become king... your mother and I will of made peace with the Atterians..." He suddenly blinked when he heard laughter behind him. He looked back, his eyes a bit dark from how rude but they quickly lightened and his smile grew happy again as he saw who it was. "Haha, don't laugh, Gin! I'm serious about it!"

Soran blinked up at his dad as the finger was held out to him and the brunette smiled, reaching up and holding onto it. He didn't understand what his father meant when he spoke to him about destiny and what he would be doing. Heck he didn't even know he looked like him or would grow up to be a 'mini' Jet. But one day when he got a older and started to take lessons on how to teravel to worlds, how to use his wings, magic, social skills and the like he would start to understand. At least that;s what his parents hoped.
The boy cooed happily as he was pet. He wasn't worried about his future or his other brother's futures - all he was worried about was hie next meal, if his brothers were crying or diaper rash.
Runa smiled softly as her husband took Roxas, nodding. "Be careful." she warned, like always. She knew Jet would take care of their sons though she didn't doubt him at all. She looked at her guests smiling. "Well while he's doing that we can have tea and talk."
Mickey's ears seemed to twitch. "And cheese and crackers?" The queen mouse beside him gave him a disapporving look, nundging him and murmuring his name. the little mouse blushed, scratching the back of his head. Well, he loved cheese what could he say?
Roxas made a little gurgling noise as he was picking up, little fists curling around his father's clothes. His wings stretched out as he was taken away. The warm sun soon met him and as his father spoke and pointed he glanced over as well. He gooed, seeing the land before him, but not understanding his father's worlds too well. He understood the tone of importance however. Something was amazing about this new side of the world - but he wouldnl;t understand it for years to come. The soft laughter drew his head away though, and he blinked as someone came closer. He was a tall shee, taller then his dad, but with a calm look in his gray eyes. He had very dark, almost black brown hair that framed his face, cut short in a warrior's hair style.
"Sorry Jet," The Shee said, walking over bowing to the other. He never used to - until his friend became king. "I mean no disrespect but each time I hear you or Runa say it I can't help but thing of how crazy it sounds. Being friends with them that is. Hey there Roxas." The baby cooed, recognized the man.
Gin could not really be blamed for his way of thinking. He was from the family of Silverwings - hence his name. He had a long line of family members who had been in the Army, most all of them having been killed in battle by an Atterian, and like them he had followed that path. Silverwings were notrious for their leadership skills on the battlefield and their calm dispositions in times of crisis. He was not a panicky person and had a very mild temper that was hard to flare; this was probably why he was appointed General of the Balance - oh excuse him the Peace Army. Jet had said it was because of his calm nature that he was chosen - he thought Gin would be one of the best people who could neogotiate for peace during times of war.
He deeply respected Jet however, and though his idea was radical and crazy sounding, he knew he'd go along with it when the time came. Jet had been his friend for years in fact - ever since theyw ere young children. the prince had been out on the town and found him in a trying to break up two other kids who were in a schuffle. Unfortunetly for gin one of them didn;t like him interfreing and punched him in the face. He had fallen and the next thing he knew HE was fighting against the kid. Jet had come in and demanded them to stop and all the others ran off, knwoing exactly who he was.
Jet had looked at him, and smiled, complimenting him on his attempt at trying to quell the other's anger. "but you know letting yourself get in the range of fire wasn't the best of ideas." Gin had just laughed, gingerly fingering the bruise forming on his face. After that day they had become fast friends and oftentimes Jet went looking for him when he was out and about in the town. The prince trusted him with a lot of information he didn;t tell many other people - sans his wife, and Gin made sure to honor that silent promise to keep quiet.
When he had grown old enough, he had joined the army almost instantly. He already had lots of training in the ways of fighting thanks to his parents and relatives - they had made sure to begin when he was very young, and soon he worked his way to the top of the army. He had seen Jet a lot less those days but he had elarned that his best friend had taken a fancy to a woman - and despite all that was going on Gin encouraged him to just go out and grab her before it was too late. Women like runa came around once in a century.
After long hours of training and learning, Gin became one of the strongest Shee on the planet but that strength was hardly ever used. After all the king often said 'We can not rule with a heavy hand. It is kindness and understanding that will truly meet our goals.'
"Next thing you know your sons are gonna be asking to keep a few as pets." He said with a soft smile, trying to be comical rather then condecending.

Jet really didn't like Gin bowing to him... but then again, King Mickey didn't like him to bow at him either... and still did. It was a politeness? He shook his head and smiled. "No one said friends... but at least... a well understanding? Maybe in the FAR future we can learn how to become friends." He had to be honest, Runa had more faith in the Atterian race than himself.
He, like the other Shee he ruled, though they were barbarians... He did however believe that they could find a way to make peace between their races.
He looked down at Roxas cooing and smiled happily. "Hahaha, you'd think he'd like something that ugly?" Peace? "Well.... something that... big?" He cocked his head, but Gin knew he was sticking with ugly. Someone can't love EVERYTHING and since Runa wasn't in hearing range, he could say it just this once.
Gin was at the top of the Peace Army, which made him feel a bit better when it came to his son Ventus. He knew Gin would take the boy under his wing and teach him everything he knew. Runa would teach Soran the ways of Travelers and well... Roxas could learn from everyone, especially his father. The Trinity would be busy... but it will bring much life into the castle.
He smiled as he slowly walked passed his dear friend. "So, what brings you here? It's nice to see you again." He said softly, Roxas carefully rocked in his arms as he was heading back to the room with the other's.
Only a few minutes later there were loud footsteps coming down the hallway. "YOUR MAJESTY! KING JET!" The young king stopped and looked back, seeing a dark skinned Shee racing up the hallway. His voice sounded frantic. "Dyre... what is it?" He asked softly as the younger Shee panted, his bright red wings seeming to weigh down.
He suddenly stood and saluted, noting that Gin was there. "Your majesty, some people have spotted a bright star heading down from the sky." Jet tilted his head. "A meteor?" "It.... looks a bit different." He reported. Jet frowned and shook his head. "I'll come take a loo---"
BANG
The whole world suddenly shook as a huge explosion rumbled near by. There were sudden screams from down below and Jet quickly raced back to the balcony. He looked out, seeing fire and smoke coming from the forest at the side of the land.
And that was when... he saw large beast run across the valley. Atterians. He gasped and backed up. "Call the army! Gather the people and bring them to the castle! When everyone you can gather is safe, bar the doors and windows!"
Minnie blinked as her whole cup of tea fell to the floor. "Oh dear!" He cried as she stood. She looked around, then heard all the yelling. "An invasion!?"

Gin chuckled softly at the others words. Even Jet was having some problems with his own ideals - but hey he was right they WERE ugly. They were supposed to be animals like tigers and lions and bears and what not but the little add ons they had... made them look very unbecoming. Things with bird-like tails or antlers or spikes or any number of things. It made them look very... unapporachable.
He smiled as the other started to walk back, following after him without a word. But at his friend's question he chuckled. "I didn't know I needed a reason to visit my best friend and see how his kids and wife are doing." He teased, nudging him. But Jet was right, his visits were getting less and less frequent as the years went on - they were all busy now that the brunette king had taken rule and new treaties and missions were being sent out for them all to do. Jet had lots of plans now that he could give orders and though they didn't mind trying to work for his goals - they were all sound and understandable (except for making nice with the Atterians) and they were willing to go along wth it.
The two walked together, making idle conversation, laughing a little like old times while Roxas looked around at them, cooing softly every once and awhile- but then suddenly a loud yell drew their fun to a halt, and Gin came to attention as one of his men approached, the eyes frantic in the darkly-skinned faced. He only nodded to the salute, listening to the others words quietly, his eyes narrowing in suspicion. What did h-
A sudden bang, louder then any thunderclap sounded, and a shockwave as strong as an earthquake rocked the world. Roxas burst into tears almost instantly, afraid of the loud noises. When Jet ran back so did he, confusion and screams sweeping over the nation of Norn. He stopped beside his long-time friend, looking across the area seeing fires beginning to sprout... and dark figures racing across the town. His eyes narrowed but when Jet gave his orders he nodded. "Yes Sir!" He said before turning and looking at Dyre who had followed as well. He rushed over, his silver wings bursting from his back.
He was a top general - his orders now. Dyre was a messenger. "Dyre tell General Aski that he's in charge of 3, 4 and 5 and their in charge of getting the townspeople in the north and east sides of town here. Now Go!" the North and East sides of town was where the beats would reach first and Three, Four and Five were scouters, their frontal attack army and their faster fliers. The Atterians were fast creatures and at the rate they were moving if they didn't have their quickest out there now they'd have more unnecessary causualities then they needed. As Dyre ran off, Gin glanced back. "Jet be careful!" He called before taking off.
A plan in his mind was already forming. He'd take units 1, 2 and 6 out towards the south and west sides of town. There last two units 7 and 8 would stay here on standby to protect the castle and it's people within.
Mickey winced as the sudden loud noise overtook the quiet calmness of their teatime. He looked up, eyes narrowed and stood as well looking around. "What is happening?" He asked allowed, a rhtorical question really becaise no one could answer him.
Runa gasped, her hair bouncing as she stood She could ehar faint crying echoing down the hall from where her son's bedroom was. Ventus and Sora had been awaken by the noise. Her heart speed up and she looked around at the others in the room. Suddenly a little red-winged armyman flew past upahead, his wingbeats Dyre. Moments later a silver-winged man flew above as well, but he wasn;t as quick. "Gin!! What is happening?!"
The silver Shee paused, looking down at her, wings fluttering to keep him afloat. "Atterians are invading us! I'm sorry I have orders from Jet I must carry out!" He could see the horrified look on the queen's face as she nodded, giving him permission to go and off he went.
"No..." Runa whispered, confused. "Why... would they?" How could they?
Dyre's message made it to the second general - who was in fact Gin's uncle. He was a little more hot-tempered but he took the orders in stride, gathering his units up quickly and soon the three were taking off for the north and east sides of towns. Gin, still slower, gave orders to and 7th and 8th units to stand guard and make sure NOTHING happened to the castle. If it was breeched it was all over. Then he took his three preselected units and raced out into town.

Jet held Roxas closer, trying to concentrate over the baby's cries. He heard his friend and nodded, watching the silver wings spread as he started to fly off. He sighed and shook his head, quickly racing back to the room where his wife and royalty was. Why were the... Atterians doing this? From what the scouter's had said, Atteris seemed to be quiet...
He got into the room just as Gin was gone. His looked at his wife... who had grown pale. She must of heard the news. He rushed to her side. "Runa!" He nuzzled her softly before handing Roxas to her. "You, Queen Minnie and Ladies get into the Divine Shell." He looked at the Ladies-in-waiting and the few guards at the doorway. "Make sure the queens are safe and bring the Trinity with you! Keep them alive at all cost!"
He looked back at Runa and gave her a soft kiss. "Don't worry about me. I'll be ok." Another messenger flew by and Jet suddenly grabbed the man's leg. He stopped and looked back, quickly saluting. "Your Majesty." "Please deliver a message to all the fronts. Tell them.... not to take any Atterian life. Wound them, cut them, do what they must to make the Atterian's flee but do NOT kill them."
The messenger's eyes widened at the crazy request but nodded. "Y-yes sir..." He saluted once again and flew off quickly. The rest of Norn would know better than to call on their wings. If they used all their power all at once... something surely would happen to the world. So far, from what Jet could tell... this was the biggest invasion the Atterian's had pulled off... and without them knowing...
He took note that the Ladies had the Trinity safe in their arms and nodded. "Hurry! King Mickey... please stay with me." The guards led the women down a secret stairway down towards the Divine Shell. The Divine Shell was the only true safe haven in Norn. It could only hold the royal family and a few others. Jet wanted to expand it, believing not only the royal family was the most important to save. He wanted to make sure EVERYONE was safe.
However, the only flaw about it was.... it was quite far deep onto the castle... They could only pray that the army could keep the Atterian's away until they got inside.
When the door was closed, bright, beautiful silver and blue wings came from the young king's back, a spear made of pure power glowed in his hand. He looked down at Mickey and sighed. This... would be his first battle. "Do you... have any other suggestions?"
Down below, the Atterian race was coming in fast. Their powerful legs covered a lot of ground within a few minutes. The ones at the front had already taken down the gates and headed into the streets. Their massive horns and tails quickly made the entrances a mess.
Large paws pushed down on bright, fresh grass as a large panther ran after the other's. Curled horns like a rams wrapped around his black ears. On his back were spikes, sticking up towards the heavens. His tail had a large spiked club at the end of it. What completed his look were bright, golden eyes and yellow fangs.
The eyes glanced momentarily to the Atterian running next to him. A black leopard with brown patching. A toothy grinned was shared as they both burst into the town. They could already see the red of blood...

Runa's head turned as he heard her husband's call and her eyes widened as he came down, looking a little frantic and very worried. He was already giving orders once again but the minute she had Roxas, crying away in her arms, and Jet's encouraging nuzzle she felt a little more reassured.
She nodded at his commands and at his kiss her eyes fell momentarily shut. She kissed back. "Jet... please be careful." She whispered, before suddenly she was told to hurry. With her heart jheavy with worry and her arms full with one of her bundles of joys, she turned and hurried away, glancing back only once.
Mickey nodded to the Shee's askance, giving his wife a quick nuzzle on the nose before she took off as well. He listened to the sights around him, hearing the other's orders as he gave them. When the king drew his weapon, he held up his hand, a thin sword appearing in his own. He smiled somewhat. "Yes, stay calm." His ears prickled though, hearing something wistling through the air... like missiles. Then there was loud crashes as it smacked into things and the sound of breaking glass fell over the nation. Mickey at first didn;t know what it was, put one of the senetaries of unit 7, who was sitting in front of a window yelled down, "Your majesty! all the disces have been destroyed!!!"
"Is there any other way of of the planet?" Mickey asked softly, taking in the information with horror. The disces was how the Shee got around, without them... this battle would be a long one. As far as he went... his gummi ship would not fit many if it came to that.
Gin flew through the air, his eyes wild as he took in the scene. The Atterians were breaching the town already, but the suth and west sides were still somewhat safe. Sudden;y a messenger flew overhead, relaying a message from the King. Gin;s eyes narrowed. What was Jet THINKING? "Damn it..." He whispered before yelling out. "ALL UNITS! THIS IS AN ORDER FROM THE KING. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT KILL THE ENEMY!"
He knew something though that Jet didn't. Death... would be unavoidable.
He didn;t udnerstand though how could... the Atterians evenn work together long enough to do this? They were so anarchacal that there was NO way they formed an army together so fast...
Suddenly their was a whistling in the air. Blue beams were flying through the air from an unnameable source. It caught a few Shee and he heard yells and cries as the beams connected. Gin's eyes widened in horror, seieng someone get completely... frozen? "AVOID THEM!"
"INCOMING!" Someone from the 1st squad yelled. More of the beams came, but this time they hit no Shees... no it hit the disces... and the disces froze on contact. And then... they shattered.
The magical backlashes created small explosions and the townspeople started to scream as some parts of the town began to crash down,, building getting ruined. "HURRY GET THE PEOPLE TO SAFETY!" Gin yelled.
The leopard glanced at his side and grinned malciously. Hatori. "This is going to be fun brother." He glanced up, hearing the whistling as well, seeing the beams as they destroyed the Shee's only way out. He chuckled darkly. Their commanding officer had come through after all! Joining up with him hadn;t been such a bad idea after all.
He and his brother took to the from of the crowd, fast on their feet as they struck out at the Shee from all over. Screams echoed throughout the nation and Shee were brought down, necks were snapped, lungs were pierced.
But then the army unit came and the fighter Shee came down, their red wings shimmering like blood as they tried to fight the Atterians off. But an order rang out from somewhere - something about... not killing them.
Ha, their king was a FOOL.
Runa tried to stay strong, even as she heard the noise of the shattering magic. She had no idea what it was but whatever just broke could not be a good thing. She looked down at Roxas rocking him restlessly as he cried before turning to all the others. "We're going to be okay." She reassured.

Jet looked down at the mouse and nodded. "Our own power can transport us."
More and more shots of blue flew down, freezing things on the spot. Some Shee were even frozen... and if they weren't too young or too old, they were powerful enough to shatter the ice around them before it shattered them. However... children and elders weren't so lucky. They got in the way of some beams and were frozen... only to shatter within seconds.
Ice shards rained down from the sky, piercing Shee's in the chest, back and other body parts. The sound of Atterian's ripping flesh and breaking bones rang out. It was a massacre within 10 minutes...
When the Atterians worked alone, Shee could handle their power. Now they they worked as one... they were unstoppable. Jet didn't know this... until it was too late.
By the time he and Mickey reached the entrance of the hallway, the doors were already broken and bodies of Shee littered the steps to the castle. Some were missing half their bodies, wings ripped off and half eaten. The streets were covered in blood. Blue eyes gazed in horror. No... His eyes suddenly shot towards a door in the far corner. It was torn open.
"RUNA!" The door was another secret passaged to the Divine Shell. Damnit... where was their army!? He suddenly shot towards the door and down the stairs.
The people could no longer get to the safety of the castle if it was already infested. The Shee started to panic... and all their wings started to grow out. The balance of the world was quickly becoming overturned. Some started to blast out at some Atterians, wounding them badly. Harsh wipes cut through their fur and joints, slowing them down.
Down in the castle, a large panther was hot on the trail of fleeing Shee's. He was about to rip another door down when a spear of light shot out right in front of him. He halted and growled, looking back at... the king? He licked his lips as he turned around. Jet frowned as his blue eyes stared into gold. "Get out of here. We don't want to fight you!"
"Isn't that unfortunate?" "Don't you want peace!?" The panther seemed to snicker, licking his fangs again. "As if." Suddenly the large beast shot out towards the young king. Another spear stopped the Atterian, his jaws stuck tight as they stared each other down. A suddenly blast shot the panther into a wall hard.
He panted but quickly got to his feet and shot for the king again, The blades of the light spear went through him again and again as he could only catch the kings clothes. Deep wounds filled the Atterian after the small fight but what finished it were two blows from the spear. It went up one side of his face, piercing his skin and cracked his jaw.... and came down the other... right over his right eye.
The panther cried out in pain as his whole body bled. Blood gushed from his eye as he fell to the floor. With his good eye, he looked up at the panting man, blood soaking his clothes. The light spear was pointed at the Atterian's heart... only another blow... "We need to make peace with them Jet..." His wife's voice came in loud and clear.
The spear continued to point down though as he spoke. "I'll give you the option to flee and safe your life... or... you can die." He put bluntly, no emotion behind it at all. The Atterian narrowed his eye as he looked at the king.. then slowly looked down.
"I'll take that as a flee." He suddenly held out his hand and a beam of light showed over the beast... and suddenly, it was gone.
Far off in another world, the beast fell into a large body of water...
Before he could catch his footing, another Atterian shot through the door at him. Thinking quick, he slashed up, also catching this one's eye.
"AAAAAAAAAH!!" Jet suddenly blinked as he heard a hug crash and the screaming of women. "Runa! I'm coming!" He suddenly rushed through another door and down the stairs, seeing another Atterian only 10 feet away from his family. A beam of light struck the beast's back and it howled. "RUN!" He called the others, the guards quickly pulling the woman towards the shelter. They only had a few more rooms to go...
Jet raced down the stairs and another beam of light appeared. He raced for the Atterian but the beast suddenly turned around, his heavy tail hitting Jet in the chest. The young prince cried as he was flung back on onto the ground. Before he could even THINK the one with the damaged eye was a top him.
His blue eyes stared up in horror as he could already see it. His life. His wife.... his children... His eyes moved, blurred from the shock. They moved to the door, seeing the eyes of his wife right before the door shut. Horror ran over her face. All he could do... was reach out to her as he felt the Atterian lick his throat. "Runaaa-----tch---"
His arm fell to the floor as blood spilled over the brick floor. The other Atterian in the room turned and ripped the door down that the other's were headed in as Shee outside screamed and fell in their own blood.

Gin cursed as he struck down at the Atterians. There was SO fucking many. Damn it all! Kids and the elders and just everyone wss dying around him. He heard his comrades screaming. how could... they fight bvack like this?!
His eyes widened, hearing a soft yell from a woman nearby - her name was Reika. And she had been his sweetherat. His head turned, eyes wide as he watched, hearing the loud snap as an Atterian bite through her neck. Tears welled into his eyes. "NO!" He screamed. His wings expanded. "THAT;S IT!!!" Poewer, pure and strong expldoed from him. the wounded Atterians and the ones charging fell back, some smacking into walls. The sounds of backs bereaking and heads cracking open was audible. "I'm sorry Jet..." Gin whispered shaking his ehad. But this was a masscre. If they didn't start to kill themseleves... they were all going to die. He charged, and with a scream rasing his trident, slamming it into an Atterian hard and throwing it.
Hatori raced through the castle, claws and teeth stained with blood, power thrumming through him because of the Shee's pwoer all over. His grin was malicious, but he heard a loud yowl in another room over. He recognized it instantly as his brother's call. He twisted and rushed towards it, eyes narrowing - just in time to see his brother disappearing in a white light. Dead? No!
Hatori gave a vicious screech as he charged, jumping for the king of the Shee - but he ducked. The edge of the spear dug through his eye violently and the large leopard smacked into the ground. the king took off and Hatori lay there for a few moments, roparing in pain. Damn it! Not his eye!!
He stood, shaking his ehad and rushed from the castle suddenyl, the scent of his brother's death thick in his throat.
Runa gave a violent scream as an Atterian broke through, but the sound of footsteps made her look up and suddenly it was blasted down. "Jet!!" She felt a tug as she was pulled into the next room... and everything happened in a horrible blur.
She watched her husband swing at the shapeshifter, watching as it avoided the attack and charge. The spear fell from his grip, teeth clamping onto his throat as he was brought down. "JET!!!" A snap, and dull blue eyes looked at her for the last time before the hand reaching out for her fell to the floor.
"JEEEEET!!!!!!!"
The door shut.
Mickey rushed in, slicing at the Atterian over his friend violently. He stared down at him, knowing he was gone and looked around frantically. "Minnie!" He rushed after the group, knowing he had no choice. He had to protect them!
Hatori raced through the crowd seeing some of his own ltitered around and dead - and soon discovered why. Silver wings glimmered in the middle of the bloodshed, the enormous amoutns of pwoer radiating off of the Shee. The whole world was decaying and imploding from the inside. Earthquakes shook the world, buildings toopled, lighting struck from the sky. Everything was dark and black and red.
The Shee's powers were misbalcning everything.
And the one before him... was probably the strongest of them all. Hatori licked his lips, tasting his own blood. "Your mine." He hissed and pounced forward. Gin didn't see it coming. Sharp teeth caught his wing and Gin screamed as he was thrown, the ground and gravel breaking as he hit hard.
Hatori rasied his claws and jabbed them down, digging them violently into the other;s chest, right into the hard. blue ebnergy streamed from him and his claws clamped down onto the other;s throat.
Gin gasped, his eyes wide as he struggled, blood tricking into his throat. It was futile... he knew he was going to die.Just like his father before him... But he would not go down without a fight. "You... Renki..." He gasped, his wings glowing with power of one last spell. "You... will be the one forever stuck in the state of beastiality... you... will never see the skin of yourself unless their is a blue moon... it will pain you terribly. Anyone of your blood will fell the pain of this curse. you...will never be able to break this curse... until you sacrifice yourself out of love."
Hatori broke away suddenly, giving a yell of pain as the magic wrapepd around him, it felt like acid had fallen onto him, everything burning and painful.
"And now..." Gin gasped, "that you have heard the prophecy... you can never break it!"
A dark form walked from the death and destruction, wielding a large sword. He saw the failing Shee and the withering Atterian and rased it, smacking it down into Gin;s chest, straight through his heart.
But the cvurse would never be broken.

The Atterian licked up Jet's blood, hungry for the power it held within it. That was all Atterians could see. The power. They didn't see the peaceful lives. The laughter. The love. The families. The friendships. Generations of hard work.
Jet... only wanted to honor his wife's ultimate goal. The fortune and enlightenment he brought to his people... didn't matter anymore. Maybe... he married a wild Shee like his father had. That didn't matter anymore either.
The Ladies-in-waiting were jutted down and killed as were the guards who were watching them. Only two were left. The one holding Soran and the one with Ventus.
Another lashed out towards one of them but was only strike down by a small mouse king.
In the town square, fire and bodies littered the one beautiful peaceful fountain. A man stood over the fire, his eyes a haunting gold. His bald head reflected the buildings crumbling around them as a grin appeared on his face.
His plan worked... perfectly. One whiff of Runa's hope to gain peace with the Atterians... was all he needed.
He slowly reached up to the sky as a ball of energy started to form in his hand. The energy shot out piercing through the clouds. All the bloodshed from the Shee was suddenly sucked up into a vortex above the land and slowly, the whole world started to pull into it.
Atterians killed other races for their power. This man.... killed worlds.
Minnie grabbed a hold Ventus as the Lady fell to her death... and soon Mickey had Soran in his arms. "FAITH!" The small mouse cried as she felt the very earth she was running on lift. A beam of light came and Minnie jumped through, along with Mickey.
A cry pierced out as the last female Shee was strike down. A large Atterian ripped at her back and legs. Roxas was quickly taken from her arms by the King and the queen pulled at Runa's arms. "LET'S GO!" She cried at the Atterian and suddenly slapped it across the face. It winced just for a moment... but that was all they needed to get Runa into the light.
Norn was folding up and its power was being sucked away.
"Get her to the medics! HURRY!"
The Shee race, the most powerful creatures in the universe... became extincted in less than a hour. Or so... Master Xehanort thought.

The Atterians were howling ansd rroaring, dancing around each other in happiness and victory. they had won! It had been so easy and they had won!!!
Mickey raced after the Shee his sword held high. there was only a few rooms left! but in those few rooms... They lost nearly everyone. The little mouse did his best, racing around to strike down at all of the beasts but the Atterians were too quick and most of them were finding him a nuisance - not a threat.
The only reason Mickey and minnie probably survived was because of the pwoer the Shee held superseded over them to such an extent... that they didn't even really see them.
Runa gave a yell of panic as the woman holding Ventus fell. her heart nearly stopped, seeing the woman;s eyes widen as she was stuck, the pain momentarily before her eyes went dull and lifeless and she fell. Minnie quickly scooped up the little boy who was crying terribly. She herself quicked away the Atterian who was trying to snap at them both.
Then there were on the run again - not even getting thirty feet before the other got the one holding her eldest as well. Mickey jumped in taking the boy and swinging with one hand, getting the shapeshifter good in the throat.
Runa sobbed, unable to really comprehend everything. Was all of this her fault? Because she had hoped to... to make peace that everyone had gone too easy on the beasts and met their deaths?
She had been wrong. so very wrong. These... things didn't want peace. These monsters... couldn't possibly have a heart. They were Renki just like she had been told and her misjudgement... had just killed everyone.
"I don't thnk I'm going to make a very good queen." the blonde woman murmrued shyly after the wedding ceremony. The brunette laughed, drawing her into a hug. "You'll be perfect."
"I don't think they're Renki. Maybe... they just aren't being given a chance to love." She speculated. "Ha, you're hilarious Queen Runa." gin murmured saoftly, only to get kicked. "Ow!" "Don't be funny Gin! I'm serious. It's just like how we look at people who do strange jobs based on their wing color." She said simply. "Peoeple are being judged and not given a chance to do things without being made fun of. i mean, all my relatives laughed when I was a speaker." "Okay, Okay." Gin said waving his hands. "So the Renki can't love because of peer pressure?" He grinned and started to laugh again. "Gin!!"
"Jet..." she murmured breathlessly, her naked body cuddled with his, her modesty only shielded by a blanket. she felt his hands running through her hair comfortingly, the sweaty strands being moved from her eyes. She looked up at him, smiling softly and leaned up to kiss him, receieveing one in return. "I love you..." "And I you, my queen." Jet murmured back, "I'll love you forever." Runa giggled. "What?" He asked, confused. "That was just so... sappy!" "Hey!!" He grinned however and they both laughed.
Runa gave a scream as teeth clamped down onto a wing. She stumbled, feeling the heavy form and twenty claws setting themseleves into her back. The sound of something tearings was loud and disturbing. The Atterian had ripped off her wing...
She stumbled and grunted, unable to stay on her feet and fell. Her other wing quickly curled around her body, protexcting the boy in her arms from being hurt as she smacked into the ground. She sobbed and moaned in pain as teeth clamped around the back of her throat. It was over for her...
The sight of the mouse in front of her brought her hope. She gasped breathlessly, holding out her arms as he last son was taken, seeing the mouse retreat, however the other stayed, trying to urge her forward.
She wasn't sure what happened but suddenly she was pulled into the light... and appeared somewhere new. Quiet. Safe. The cries of her children echoed throughout the area, beautiful and alive.
She was dmly aware of the call for a medic - but even she knew she would not make it through the night. The artery in her shoulder had been piereced, she was losing blood much too fast.
She weakly reached forward, grabbing onto Mickey's legs and gasped out, "Mickey... please... safe them..." all of her sons were covered in blood - and she could no longer remember it wasn't their's. "Please... bring them... somewhere they will be happy. Somewhere safe and... l-loved. Don't... don't tell them... about me." She shuddered, coughing some as her body convuled. "They... desereve a better mother than I..."
"Don't talk Runa, your going to be alright."
"Please!" she gasped. "Promise me!"
"I.... I promise Runa." Mickey said softly, and watched as the medics came with a strentcher, pulling her away. Even as she was carried she watched the king and queen mice holding her children, the last sight she would see... before her eyes clsoed for the last time that night.
Present
"And that night Runa died. The next day I began making preparations for bringing you three to a new worlds, just as she had asked. akbar, Bryna and Sirocco was what I found." Mickey's tale was told, and he looked up at the three Shee quietly.
Sora's eyes slowly changed back to blue, the story was over yet he had seen more then even mickey had orally stated. The mouse couldn't have known the past scenes between his mother and father that they had reminesced over - he couldn't have known of Gin and his final stand - He couldn;t have orated their parents every last thought, every last hope as well as... the vision did.
Sora felt the pain in his heart pulse and he rasied his hand to his mouth, sobbing between his fingers. He fell to his knees burying his head into his hands, crying. It didn't matter that he hadn't known not a one of them personally. Destruction like that - something so real and evil on such good and peaceful people... it hurt him. It hurt him a lot.
Roxas, like his brother before him, lost the color in his eyes. He stared at the king and queen silently before slowly turning around, drawing his arms across his stomach. He bowed his head, wishing he had long locks of hair to hide his face right now, because even as he tried to hold them back the tears came. He made no noise, his pain silent and unnoticable as long as no one looked at him.
Terra, laying down on his stomach looking ashamed, was horrified by the story - even though he had already heard pieces of it before. He had had his suspicions as a child when at the age of three everyone was boosting about how the shee were gone, making way for the truly powerful race of the universe and all that crap... He only remembered it dimly however...
"Hatori what have you done!" "Where is my son woman?" "I don't think you have a right to know!" "Damn it woman WHERE IS TERRA?!" "... In his room. I... what did you DO?!" His parents were yelling and fighting. He understood that - and usually he'd be the first to rush out there and try and break it up. He hated it when they yelled... But today... he couldn't even move. In fact he hadn't mvoed in several days not since... the change. He had been a three- nearly four- year old boy when the change was forced onto him. Though he didn't know it he was the youngest Atterian to ever change and survive at this age. A wet, warm tongue licked soothingly across his snout and he knew it was his father but he was too weak to even open his eyes. "D-Dad... I-I changed..." He whispered out. "B-But... I do... don't..." "Shhh..." The voice murmured softly the tongue soothing away the fever his body seemed to be encased in. "Nnn..." The wolf pup hummed, only half-concious. "One day son... you'll break this curse. Whether it's by the propechy's words or not."
The next day his father was gone and his mother told him that goddess was the one that had cursed both him and his father - and his mother didn't hold back on the reason either. Terra wasyoung but not young enough to not hear the truth. That his father was a monster - that he had been a killer - that... that he desereved what he got.
Terra slowly, caustiously glanced at Ventus, trying to gauge his reaction. He had a feeling the three Shee had seen and ehard more than they had. Terra still didn't even know it was a Shee that had been the one to curse him and his father - but the triplets did.

Minnie sighed softly and shook her head. "I'm sorry about what happened. I really wished... that there was something we could of done. I know a lot of people blamed Jet and Runa for the death of the Shee race... but it wasn't their fault. They really believed that the Atterians could make peace. I believe they could of done it too... but... not then. I'm sure if Jet knew how bad the invasion was... he would of called different orders."
She sighed again. "Runa was a dear friend of mine..." She too couldn't help but sniffle and bury her head into her husband's shoulder.
Riku's eyes widened as Sora fell, sobbing. He quickly fell down next to Sora, his face full of emotions. He bit his lip but gently pulled Sora close, into a warm embrace. "Sora..." He was sure their trance showed them more... and he... couldn't even imagine what Sora was feeling.
He rubbed the Shee's back softly and buried his face in the boy's hair.
Axel blinked as Roxas turned around. He frowned and left the line, going to face the Shee he was guarding. Oh man... Roxas was suppose to be the KING of the Shee! And he... last night.... oh god. He bit his lip hard and looked away. An imp... with the King of Shee. Well.... former king... or something. Who was he going to rule now? His brothers? He was sure that would fly well.
He sighed, wishing that he could touch the boy... to wipe his tears away. "Roxas..." He pulled some blonde hair away, seeing it sizzle as he touched it.
As for Ventus, his blue eyes came back as well. He looked down, the visions and stories not feeling... real... but they very much were. But why... after such a brutal killing... would the King, who saw all the blood... assign a Atterian to watch over a Shee?
He fell to his knees too but felt a heavy body come to him. His blue eyes watered... but no tears fell down like his brothers. He was... the passionate one right? He sighed and thought... Now what? He wondered... what it would be like to be the head of the army... He'd never know now.
He slowly leaned into Terra but blinked suddenly. "Get out of here. We don't want to fight you!" "Isn't that unfortunate?" "Don't you want peace!?" "As if."
As if?
His eyes shot up at the king and queen. "Xigbar! He's an Atterian!?" An Atterian waiting for the forces to come.... The king must of known!
