"I'll live for a very long time, long than my father or the ones i care about." she sighed and her eyes started to water. she didn't want to do this anymore, she wanted to go home. the halls were empty and quiet. she felt alone even when Dac was there. she'll always feel alone now. she still hardly knew Dac. she took her hand away from his and put it in her pockets.

Dac sighed with exasperation. he didn't know what else to do. so he did what he'd always done for hundreds of years. toughen up. "well, this is the only choice you have, so get used to it. that's all i can say. you cannot do anything else until one of two things happen." he ticked them off with his fingers. "one: you die. and don't even think about committing suicide. i've tried, and the FOWH will not let you. you have to die in battle. and don't think you can go and pick a fight with an eromously strong opponent. i'll be here to stop you. or two: you fulfill your purpose. in which case you can either reseal the weapon, or continue to fight the heartless until you die or they are gone." he paused and looked in the direction of Sephiroth's statue. "because once the heartless are gone, there will be no need for us."

mirray looked at the statue and sighed. "they will never be gone. I wouldn't comit suiside anyway. not when my father is still alive. I hope i do find my purpose. i think the blade was just lonely or something." she looked away. her family members were choosen to. Her mother was the key to unlock the darkness and her father had the lionheart inside. she was no ordinary girl. she blinked and wipped the tears from her eyes. her father was strong and so she would follow in his foot steps. she looked up at Dac and smiled. "i think i'm fine now."

"how much time do we got? I'd really like to go to Traverse Town. i want to see my family for the last time." she smiled and took dac's arm. "please!?" she had a glow in her eyes, she really wished to see her dad again. it had been such a long time and 5 minutes wasn't enough.

he smiled at her. he liked it better when she was happy. it made him feel like the life of a ranger wasn't a waste of time. "sure. you got it." he held up the Lunato Mercury. "oh. do you have a good picture in your mind of this place? you'll be coming back here on your own."

"yea, sure, i'll just think of that large statue." she smiled and put her arm around his waist. she couldn't wait to see her mother again. she loved her family so much, she was really going to miss them when they die. she frowned but then thought. she shouldn't be so sad. her mom and dad were still young. "let's go."

"alright. here we go." they were in the blinding darkness again. and out before you could cough three times. they reappeared in Traverse Town. it was night time and the town was alive with lights. he looked about him. it had been a long time since he had been here too. "well, i'll let you go to your parents. and we'll meet back here in four hours."

she nodded and smiled. "ok." she walked away from him and into the main street. she passed the item shop and the cafe. the weapon shop was on her left and japetto's clock store was in the corner. she knew this place like the back of her hand. she wasn't born here but it was like her second home. she walked up to the second district doors and opened them. a few small houses were on the left while a few clothing shops were on the right. she walked left and knocked on the door. yuffie opened it and smiled. "lady Miranda! it's been so long!" she smiled at the yound girl. "i bet you're looking for your dad, well he's at the inn." mirray nodded and walked down the street to the inn. he opened the doors and saw Cid. she smiled and walked in. "have you seen my father?" Cid stood there for a second and thought. "Nope, he left like 10 minutes ago." mirray frowned. "now where could dad be?"

Dac walked around the busy town. it was a center of commerce for this world. all the shops and stalls full of customers inspecting merchandise. he walked around and looked at all the sites. a lot had changed in 200 years. he came to the third district and looked around. it hadn't changed at all. still empty of people. he went to a large door near the back and knocked on it roughly. a rough raspy voice boomed from within the entrance. "who braves the third district?" Dac laughed to himself and replied. "a friend, oh great monster of the past!" "Dac?! is that you?! my god!" the sound of locks being thrown open eminated from the door as it swung open. "it is you!! you old fool!"

she sighed and left the second district. she looked around the first and walked to the weapon shop. there stood her father at the front desk. she ran over and huged him. he turned around and smiled."mirray, what are you doing here? where's Dac?" Mirray shrugged. "He left somewhere, i have four hours here before i leave." Leon smiled. "that's great, come let's go home." mirray nodded and walked out of the weapon shop with her dad. they walked back to the second district and back to the house. Aeris was sitting on a chair and looking out the window while yuffie was washing some dishes. she looked around then at her father. "where's mom?" leon shrugged. "she must be in the bedroom." Mirray nodded and walked to her parents bedroom. "mom? i'm home."

a broad smile spread across Dac's face as his old wizard friend opened the door. "yep. it's me. it's been a while." the wizard scoffed. "200 years is a bit more than a while! how've you been?" "good. things are starting to pile up against the rangers though. but what about you? still scaring kids i see!" "well, the little buggers won't leave me alone. they're always talking. and you know how much i like a little peace and quiet." "yes, i do." he smiled as he thought back to times long past when the two traveled together. he was always telling him to shut up and listen to nature for a change. "i heard the rangers are looking for new recruits." the wizard's voice yanked him back into the present. Dac looked over and he had a sly look about him. "yes, why do you ask?" "two reasons. first, i heard that you have already found one. how's that working out for you?" "yes, i have. and she is still working out. very eager to solve the problem but she is having trouble accepting the lifestyle." "well, that's to be expected. after all. to give up everything you know all at once is a big task." "indeed. and what was the other reason?" that sly look returned to the old wizard. "i may have a few candidates for you." Dac's eyes widened. "really? how many?" "just a few but if you take them to different towns along with you, you can give them multiple chances to be choosen. they are all very promising." "that's good. but i cannot take them, as i have a partner already. but i will send for someone to come. it would be a terrible waste to leave such promising candidates behind. if they are as promising as you say." the old man smiled and took a sip of tea. "oh, don't you worry about that."

Rinoa looked up from fixing the bed and she smiled. "mirray, It's been too long." She walked over and hugged her mother. "how do you feel mom." her mom shrugged. "i'm fine, same as usual. I wish your father didn't aways have those women around." she frowned and continued making the bed. Mirray giggled. "he loves you mom anyway, Yuffie and Aeris are good people." Rinoa nodded. "i'll be out in awhile, why don't you visit you dad?" Mirray nodded and left the room. Leon was at the door looking out. he had a cenceirned look on his face. she walked up to him and poked his arm. he looked down at her and smiled. "what's wrong dad?" he shrugged and sighed. "the dalmations have lost all their puppies. i have no idea how i can get them all back. It's my fault that they were stolen. I'm a bad knight."

after having some tea with his old friend, Dac took another walk. he didn't want to bother Mirray so he went to the pub. when he got there however, he saw a controller in the corner. he sized him up to be a newbie. better if they're pick off before they become seasoned fighters. he walked up to the bar and sat down, not wanting to create a scene right away. he ordered a drink and waited for the inexpeirienced controller to come to him.
ooc: dont enter in the fight. just killing time for Dac until he comes to pick you up.

mirray put her ahnd on his shoulder. "it's ok dad. i'll look for the puppies." leon looked down nd smiled. "ok, but there is 101 of them." she blinked and nodded."when i fine some, i'll transport them back here." leon nodded. "ok. what to go for a walk?" Mirray nodded. "yes! i'd love to!" the both walked out of the house and walked to the clock house. they climbed the ladder to the rooftops and crawled up on the chimney. "wow, i miss this place already and i'm not even gone." mirray looked around the town and smiled. "i love this place so much." leon nodded. "it won't be the same without you, neither will TriBalamb. think of happy thoughts Mirray. it's a great this that you have become. you'd either be a balamb SeeD or a knight like myself. instead, you get to go to other worlds and have a great time." she looked down at her and smiled. "my little girl has grown so much."
