"Uh..." Sora paused, momentarily thrown off by the question. "Uh yeah we did." he felt a small tingle of satisafaction run through him from Roxas.
yes, we did. the blonde said proudly.
Sora would of chuckled, but deep in his heart was a lingering concern. "Riku uh... are you okay? i mean..." he paused, unsure if he was stepping out of bounds or not. "uh... what were you dreaming... about?"

He shook his head and smiled softly as he pushed himself off the lamp post. "Oh... nothing. Don't worry about it. I'm fine." He nodded to himself, reassuring the younger one that he was indeed ok.
Rubbing his silver hair, he yawned. "We should get to bed... you must be exhausted." He could clearly tell due to the bags under Sora's eyes.
"Come on..." He waved over as he headed into the house where the duck and dog were already in a candy dreamland.

OOC: i was asleep... as i was today... -.-; damn it all i told my self i wouldn;t fall asleep but i still did!
Sora frowned, watching his friend for a few moments, then he got to his feet as well, trudging after him tiredly. he was indeed, exhasuted like hell...
but still, the concern for his best friend kept a small spark of adrenline rushing through him, and he watched Riku trotter around in front of him. He knew, his friend had been somewhat lying... the way he had brushed it off and then changed the subject... typical Riku tactic of avoidance number one,
Sora saunted to walk besides his friend, looking at him curiously. "Are you... sure your ok?" besides, people didn;t cry in there sleep over nothing,

Riku shook his head a bit, hoping it would loosen up his thoughts. He hated having dreams like those... but they didn't seem to want to leave him. He really could of kicked himself for jinxing them all into this... since... he still believed that he did to this day.
Just the thoughts of this.... life will never calm. Even his own keyblade suggested this. It didn't look like a key... far from. He was only limited to two as well, as Sora had countless... and now even had the power to wield two at the same time.
He had a feeling that the Darkness would be calling out to him again...
But... maybe that was his fate in this.... journey. And... he was the one who sort of asked for it.
The sound of the other next to him snapped him out of his tired ramblings. "Huh....?" He looked down and smiled softly, entering the house now. "Yea... I'm fine. Just really tired... and sick of these dreams of my past. But it's nothing you should worry about... I get them all the time." He walked to a close cot and sat down.
"Now let's get to bed, I'm sure we'll be pretty busy tomorrow."

Sora sat down on the cot opposite Riku, so that he could glare with him with the all the righteous seriousness he could muster - which in retrospec, wasn;t much because one he was deads tired and two he was Sora.
But still he tried, and that counts for alot. He murmured back quietly, but still holding an air of concern and strictness. "Don;t you tell me what to and not to worry about Riku. And i'll be damned... i'll be damned if i let you think you deserve those dreams. why the hell didn;t ever tell me? oh wait, no i know why, cause you never tell me anything."
The brunette scoffed. It'd been like this for years, Riku always thought he had to 'protect' him from the 'bad' things out there. Well, Sora didn;t have a lot of innocence left, no matter what appearances he kept up. "ever occur to you i coulda helped?" he looked away. "forgive yourself Riku, and maybe they'll go away. no one;s blaming you but yourself, and it;s not healthy."

The ocean eyes looked pasted the fallen silver infront of his face. "It's not that easy Sora.... we both have wo different fates. I don't tell you how to handle yours, so don't tell me how to handle mine." That sounded harsh... but they both knew that they both handled things differently.
Riku wasn't Sora... and it took a lot to have the kind of passion that Sora had. The happy-go lucky attatude and everything. Opposites attract... and that's probably why they became best friends.
"I'm not going to stop blaming myself until I find out myself that it truely wasn't my fault that I dragged both you and Kairi into this. Ok?"

Sora looked at him, then towards the floor, not responded to him at first. But he knew - he just knew - just like he instinctively knew he and Roxas had to chase Axel... he knew that if he let this be now, nothing would be alright after. Riku would never, ever bring this up to him again, so he had to fix it now!
Riku;s only warning was a slight glance up and a meanacing gleam from blue eyes, then Sora had shot across from his cot to Riku, and quietly, yet forcefully, pinned Riku down onto it, straddling him easily. He glanced towards Donald and Goofy, but nothing short of a bomb exploding could wake those two. he leaned down so they were eye to eye. Such... nice eyes...
That was not why he was doing this!
He murmured it quietly, yet clearly. "You can;t let everything run on that fact Riku. So what if it is your fault? So what if it isn;t? It happened, and it might of been bad luck and mere conicidence or it might have been a mistake! Riku what you did was a mistake - you weren;t doing it completely out of malice... you protected Kairi didn;t you?! ...just the wrong way. Regardless if you spurred on us being keybladers or not - Xehanort was still out there and alive, still trying to destroy the worlds to pieces, that fact does NOT change! had it not of been you, a bastard like that would have taken some other poor kid! It;s not you who really did anything wrong it;s him!"

The silver haired blinked as he was pounced. Where did that come from. "AH....." He blinked once more as he go strattled.
Goofy twicthed in his sleep again, but like Soa thought, nothing would probably wake him or his friends unless it was something extremely improtant.
The ocean eyes looked up at the bright blue. He listened carefully and sighed softly when Sora was done. He was right. He... aways seemed right. The eyes looked away as the silver fell over them.
"You know... I was never afraid of the Darkness. I thought I was better than it. Stronger. I was pretty wrong... wasn't I? I've been wrong a lot... but I've made up for it. I guess. I gave myself to the Darkness to protect Kairi... because I thought I could do it all by myself. You were the one that actually protected her Sora..."
The eyes became sad. "I was never afraid of the Darkness... until you helped me shut the door with the King. I could live without seeing Kairu again because I just knew she would be safe. But you.... you were gone... and I didn't know when I'd ever see you again. So... the Darkness came back to me again... and after awhile, it let me see you again. Then... I wasn't afraid anymore...."

Sora looked down at him, considering his words carefully, but his mind so muddled it was a hard thing to do. If he had been in a more clear state of mind, he would probably be blushing bright red at their position... and be more flattered that Riku was worried about him and ONLY him (and possibly take the comment wrong).
finally he settled for a bright yet tired grin. "you worry about me too much. I'm the one who had to go running after you." he sighed slowly. "meanwhile, i was scared all the time. for you." he tapped Riku on the forehead. "You shouldn;t worry me like that."
he chuckled. But in the end, everything turned out all right, didn't it? I was safe, you were safe..."

He smiled back tiredly. "Yea... I probably do worry to much about you, cry-baby." He leaned up and pushed Sora back to the other cot playfully.
"For god sake, Sora... can we please get to be?" He asked as he took off his shoes and jacket.
He laid down on the bed and nuzzle dthe pillow lightly. "Let's hope we have the same ending as last time..."

Sora chuckled, falling onto his cot without much protest. he hoped... hoped dearly that he had solved a few of Riku's qualms.
He toed off his shoes as well, throwing his jacked atop them, then laid down. he turned his head to face towards Riku, smiling. "we will." he shut his eyes and repeated. "we will."
he yawned then turned on his side, snuggling down on his cot. "g'night Riku."

"Good night Sora..." He said as he leaned up and turned off the lights. He laid back down with a tired sigh and just peered out towards where Sora was sleeping. Protecting you is going to be harder anymore...
The morning sun came through the light white curtains. Such brightness in the morning never bothered the island boys. They were use to such light mornings.
However, something in their ear was a bit different.
"Kupo..."
Some buzzing.
"Kupo...?"
More buzzing.
"KUPO!!"
Shaking.
"Ah!" The older boy opened his eyes wide and looked up, seeing the flying creature above him, pulling off his blanket.
"Kupo, kupo~~~" The boy yawned and looked over to see another moogle doing the same to the rest of them.
"Hey... what is this!? It's too early!" The boy whined as he waved the moogle away. He stopped as he noticed someone at the doorway. Leon.
"Hey... what do you want this early in the morning??"
Leon walked in and looked at the ones still getting up.
"I was guessing that you were looking for Twilight Town, as we were too when it disappeared. Well.. this morning, it came back on the map."

Sora grumbled, holding onto his blanket fiercely. Sora, as a lot of his friends knew, was NOT a morning person. Sans a heartless attack (or breakfast), you really couldn;t get the boy up for anything.
"Go away moogle!" the brunette snapped, pulling the blanket over his head.
From here, he heard Riku whining and Donald squacking in anger and Goofy... uh not responding at all but he was probably STILL asleep.
That;s when he heard Leon. Twilight Town was... alright?
"It is?" Sora called from where he lay, holding his blanket like a lifeline.
it;s ok? Roxas murmured groogily. Too. Damn. Early.

Leon blinked and clapped suddenly, the moogles leaving the sleepy team. "Yea, it is. However, it's covered in a dark glow... so there must be something going on there. From what we can tell, it seems to be covered in Heartless with a resistance of Nobodies.... it's actually pretty strange. I thought waking you up the minute I found out would be the best idea... and Cid is looking at your distructive machine as we speak."
Distruc-- Oh yea... the Gummi Ship. He yawned a bit and sat up in bed, looking over at Leon. "I guess when the ship is ok, we can head to Twilight town."
The dog waved his tail to deflect the angry Moogle and continued to snore away.

Sora yawned, stretching out on the bed, making no real attempt to get up. "it;s not all that surprising. the nobodies and the heartless never seemed to like each other."
He turned on his stomach. "but yeah until the ship is fixed we can;t do much sooo... i'd like to sleep more."
Donald grumbled, crossing his arms as agitated as can be.
