" I cant stay in this chair forever..." Raichu stared downwards, he just couldnt deal with this... his son was out there and he needed him... his spinal cord hadnt even set... the doctors told him that there was no possible way of him ever being able too walk again... but he had his doubts... he had to... no matter what he had too be able too get up again! That and Aeris needed him... his kids... he couldnt stand too see her how she was... she hid it from him... but... when she thought he was alone... he knew she was crying... thinking about him... and most importantly Sora and Ryten who were both now gone...

[Reno]

"dad?" a timid voice, his older daughter said, the girl peeking into the room

[Jade]

" Iris..." he smiled in her direction as he looked over at his eldest daughter " you need something dear...?"

[Reno]

The girl shook her head, walking over. "no."

[Jade]

" heh... then whats up got something on your mind?" he grinned staring at her " Did I ever tell you how big youve gotten?"

[Reno]

Iris blinked, tilting her head. "but daddy you're so much taller."

[Jade]

" Yea but... awe... you didnt expect too stay the same size the whole time I was gone did you?" he asked laughing slightly, he frowned when thinking about moving his legs

[Reno]

"um.... yes?" Iris said a tad confused. she was only nine afterall.

[Jade]

He smiled then suddenly reached over lifting her up setting her down on his lap hugging her shutting his eyes " My little girl..."

[Reno]

"but i'm your little big girl right?" Iris said leaning against him. "i'm no baby like Raine."

[Jade]

He grinned " Of course! Pretty soon ill be getting you your own car... and...! uh... youll be ruling the road!"he laughed slightly

[Reno]

Iris giggled. "but i'm nine!"

[Jade]

He smiled shutting his eyes " Yea I know..." he leaned back into his wheel chair " I know..."

[Reno]

"daddy..." Iris' voice trembled. "i love you so don;t ever get hurt again ok?"

[Jade]

" Im going too walk again Iris..." Raichu said suddenly " I have too... and I dont care what the doctors say..."
