When Legends are written, those who are chosen are never given the choice of what destiny has in store for them... what great gift or curse would fall into their hands.
The summers never seemed too end on the islands, few people really knew of the outside world beyond the wide open ocean. Children would often stare off at the sunset and wonder what was beyond their islands... thinking of other worlds places completley different than their own. Thinking that one day they would set off, find the other worlds... make names for themselves... and hold within there hands there own destinies...
Raichu stared off at the setting sun, it seemed everyday that Sora had been sitting out at the beach. His son always had that smile that could cheer up even the most depressed of people, just like he was when he was his age... if it wasnt for his mothers brown hair, the two would be a completley perfect match when compared. He leaned against the rail just watching... he knew that Sora was special... and that wasnt just his fatherly pride in his child. There was just something... But even he didnt know exactly what was truly instore for his own sons destiny, or what awaited any of them in their futures.

A boy sat out on the seashell-littered beach looking out almost transfixed by the scenery. his skin was tanned from his many hours in the sun, and his eyes were of a deep blue like the sky. That must have been what inspired his mother to name him.
Sora giggled as the water finally reached his toes. the tide had risen since he had been out here. The water was icy cold, but he enjoyed it especally when the sun was at the highest peak of the world, making it incredibly hot. Thast was usually right before mom fed him.... hmm peanut butter and jelly! his favorite!
He'd found many a treasure on this island. Shark teeth, coral, seaweed, crabs and oysters. one day... he hoped to find hidden treasure that a great pirate captain left behind! he'd keep digging until he found it.
Yet.... for some reason he didn't feel like this island was enough. he knew in his heart there was... something more out there. it was too abstract for a youngin like him to even moderately explain, the feeling he was getting but... his sense of adventure had always been strong, and had always gotten him in trouble. he'd once even got stuck up in a tree!
Sora laid down, just waiting for the tide to reach his neck. maybe he;d be whisked away.... too a magical land of mermaids... maybe he;d get to be one too! a merman how cool would that be!?

A boy with long silver hair stared down at Sora the wind blew back his hair slightly, green eyes looking down at him " you can be so weird sometimes" he said poking at his nose
Raichu got up stretching outwards the two boys had been the best of friends since they had first met... even as children. Even better than Sora was with his own siblings... but it made him smile, the two were practically brothers...

"yeah i know!" Sora grinned up at his best friend. if he was the sky his best friend was the land. of course, that;s what their names meant ironically. They were the best of friends. He always liked Riku, he was just... so different and strange from this world. Afterall how many people could say their best friend had silver hair?! He was also older then Sora himself, so he knew more things then he did, and was the stronger and faster of them. Riku was also very ambitious and curious thats why they got along so well. if Sora got stuck in the tree... Riku would come up and get stuck with him.
Yes, that one was a hard one to expain to his parents.

" Isnt your dad a big fighter or something? He musnt be from here!" he asked looking at him " He has all those trophies in your house... so shiny too..."
Raichu turned heading back towards the house, he sighed slightly leaning against the wall " God..."

Sora chuckled. "but he never says anything!"
"dada!" An excited voice said, and there was running feet before Adan suddenly latched onto Raichu's leg. "me no want bath!"

Raichu blinked looking down he stared down at his son " Uh... hey..." he smiled slightly then reached down picking him up " Why not big guy? Your not afraid of water are you?"

He blinked looking at him for a moment " Your dads a thief? Isnt that a bad thing?"

" Awe come on... ill take you for some ice cream afterwards" he said a grin on his face he started walking back towards where he could hear the running water.
