A few weeks had passed, and news about a alchemist killer had spread.
"have you heard?" one of the soldier whispered to his buddies. "i hear he has an X across his face, like the mark of death!"
"they say he;s an isbaln." another whispered. "and that he kills without anyone noticing what's happening."
"he;s a monster, but he only goes after alchemists, that means were virtually safe." the last said. "i wouldn;t want my head to explode thank you very much!"

He kept walking, it was was getting dark and it was time too get home... he sighed throwing on his coat. All he did was study alchemy all day... he was starting too get good at it even... but he wasnt the best... he still had his sword as a back up weapon when everhe was going too get into a real fight... but now... he just wanted too get home and get some sleep.

As Gradd kept walking, the towen kept getting darker, and then suddenly-
"ah no don-!" there was a sound of something heavy splashing on the ground and a body hitting the floor. it came from the alleyway.
"one less sinner..." A deeper voice murmured.

He heard the scream then ran down the alleyway from which it came, he stared blankly when he saw the blood a man with silver spiked up hair and... a... X shaped scar on his head...
