The Heartless Ravine

[Reno]

Things had been quiet since Mice's attack. and with some psychitric work with Eve, people began to heal from the mental onslaught. Raichu was happily raising a daughter, and others (a.k.a. Sora Riku Iris and Kairi) were beginning a true afterlife together. They had spent it, after all, completely with a new turmoil at every turns. from one hell to another. they were ready to relax.

Iris was finally getting back into her figure skating practice. Sora and Riku were constantly competeing with each other, filled with a youthful energy that they hadnlt felt in years. And Kairi was enjoying her time to mingle and shop and laugh and talk.

That was until... one morning Kairi woke up. and Sora would not. He wasnt dead of course, just asleep. Kairi, of course, begame worried when Sora didn;t even stir, and after a completel hour of attempting to wake him up, with no luck, she panicked and called Riku and Iris.

It was already well into the afternoon, and they had tried everything. pouring water on him, kissing him, slapping him. Sora didn;t even twitch.

Iris stared down at the boy, confused. what was wrong with him.... why did he suddenly fall into a coma? it couldn;t be... namine again. could it? she no longer existed unless kairi did it but argh! she didn;t know enough of this stuff!

[Jade]

Riku stared down at his friend he tried shaking him again " Damnit Sora just wake up this better not be a stupid game of yours!" Riku shouted desperatley trying too wake his friend.

[Reno]

The brunette of course, didn;t respond.

Iris looked at Riku, reaching over, putting her hand on his shoulder. "Sora wouldn't be able to keep a straight face for four hours." she glanced at the clock. it was well until the afternoon. if only it was a game... she would have paid anything to have Sora laugh at them and say 'got ya!' then of course they'd kick his ass for making them worry and...

she sighed, then glanced around. where had Kairi...?

[Jade]

Kairi frowned she was in the kitchen staring downwards... water... she... she didnt care... she would make sure he woke up...!

Riku frowned " Damnit its hopeless!"

[Reno]

"Don;t thinl like that!" Iris said. "we'll.. figure out something!"

[Jade]

" No..." he shook his head letting out a sigh

Kairi came back holding a bucket of warm water and a small rag as she started in the direction of the bed.

[Reno]

Iris tilted her head and stared. "K-Kairi wait a minute!"

[Jade]

Kairi looked at her oddly sitting down next too Sora " What?" she took the wet rag place it over his forehead

[Reno]

"oh..." she sighed. "i... thought you were going to pour it over him." she looked at Sora again. but he wasnlt sick and... she shook her head. or maybe he was... god this didnlt make any sense. and... damn it there was only one person she could think of that might be able to give them any clue. like hell she;d ever go and ask her.

[Jade]

" What about... Rina...? Isnt she a doctor of some kind...?" Riku said suddenly staring down at his friend

[Reno]

Iris sighed in defeat but nodded. "yes. she's well-rounded in stuff like this. Scientisty, doctory. all that crap."

[Jade]

" Shouldnt we get her then?" Riku asked

" I... if it will help..." Kairi said a frown on her face

[Reno]

Iris bit her lip, then sighed. "she;s performed miracles before. she;s saved my dad more then once... and it isn;t easy to use the white materia without being a ceytra and hell she did it. if anyone can figure it out... she can."

[Jade]

" What if... what if its like Roxas again?" Riku said suddenly

[Reno]

Iris shook her head. "it might be, but then again he only fell asleep because that Namine girl made him and last we knew, Namine was in Kairi, right? i mean i only understand these stories but..."
