"this scarwny thing?" Pinakop said, walking around Rina. "from the way you look, no referrences or papers i;d bet."
"well um... no..."
"no degrees?"
"um... no..."
"not even a resume."
"uh n- ARGH SO WHAT!?" Rina snapped. "having papers doesn;t mean your decent, at the same time not having them doesn;t mean your horrible!"
"Science and mechanics can be two very different things."
"maybe in your language." Rina grumbled.

"she learns fast." Siaki assured. "and she has worked with wiring and mechanics and all that before it can;t be be too hard to connect them right?"
"hmmm... well i don;t know." Pinako. "i;ve had many a stranger come in looking for a job here. what nmakes you so speacial?"

"well you've got the right attitude." Pinako admitted. "but in the long run it doesn;t amount to much."
Rina frowned, pausing for a second, then slowly got down on her hands and knees in front of the woman. "all i ask is for a chance. if i fail i'll leave without a second word!"

Siaki glanced over then jumped back. "the... hell?"
Rina glanced up, blinking curiously then her eyes narrowed suspiciously. there was no way what she was feeling right now was accurate. "is there... anyone in there?"

her eyebrows rasied suddenly. she didn;t hear a hearbeat, the rshing of blood... she reached up, knocking against the metal, listening to it echo. hollow, no sound of skin of any kind against it. "it is empty..." she whispered.
"whos the freak?" another voice said, walking into the room. he had on a red coat, blonde hair pulling back in a braid.
Rina twitched, hearing the screech of metal. Automail. she looked at the.... very short boy in front of her, who was glaring back at her. They stared at each other.
"who you calling freak small fry?" she shot back evenly.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SHORT THAT IF I WAS IN A CONTEST WITH A ANT THE ANT WOULD WIN!"
Rina jumped back slightly. "not how i would have put it but, it;s not bad."
