Kairi smiled slightly then looked at Riku. "Well....since we're in our secret spot.....i guess this is the time to tell you.....both." She sighed and shook her head. "Riku.....I know you did so much to keep me safe all those years ago.....and I know how both of you were fond of me.... But....I..... I want to be with Sora."
Riku blinked be he looked away slightly, not shocked.....at all.

Sora stared, then looked at Riku then back at Kairi and kept doing that for a few moments. how the hell was he supposed to react to that. hell he didn;t even know who he wanted anymore!
"but uh" the brunette stuttered waving his arms wildly, then he turned around, blushing.

Kairi bit her lip as she kept looking at Riku. She felt bad for just coming out like this....
Riku smiled and shook his head. "No matter.....you better take care of him." And with that, he left the cave.

"riku..." Sora trailed over then bowed his head. wait a minute... take care of me!? he rasied an eyebrow. "what was that supposed to mean...?!"

Riku just grinned and shook his head, walking out along the beach. Heh....all of this now seemed.....so pointless.

Sora sighed. "listen Kairi i mean i'm glade you chose and all but you see these things happened and then there were the dreams and the the... bedroom and and and then we came homeand mom kinda explained it to me and well i'm just really confused!" he looked up, then chuckled. "that made no sense. i'm uh gonna go make sure he;s alright. not to heartbroken ya know?" he hurried past Kairi, more for an excuse to get away then anything.
it wasn;t hard to catch up to the other. "Riku wait!"

kairi blinked as Sora made no sense. What was he talking about. When he pushed past her, she reached out. "Sora...."
Riku looked back and smiled softly. "heh.....congratulations I guess."

"i... dont congrailate me! i think... i think i just... turned her down." Soras blinked then turned back looking at the cave then looked at Riku. "what the hell am i thinking..." he shook his head. "thats not the point i have years to worry about relationship crap! Riku we have more urgent things to worry about! like how about staying here?!"

"i don;t know. i mean thats were the door is and unless its normal for rock walls to create wooden doors with no handles its gotta be it..." Sora paused, thinking. what if he couldn;t do it without donald and goofy by his side? he never closed a door without them... wait a minute... "Riku... why would you lock a door thats already locked? what if we can;t lock it... because it already is? there aren;t any heartless on this world... so it hasn;t been connected yet..." was he making any sense?

he blinked and shook his head. "This place has to be connected....we were dropped here, which means it must have some connection." He looked around and thought of all the places where another door could be.

Riku sighed and looked back at the cave.....was she safe in there? "Kairi! Get out of there and go home!" He called out. Soon she did what she was told, running back home. Riku sighed and walked off into the other section, where Waka and Selphie lived.

Sora sighed, looking down at the keyblade. if it wasnl;t the secret place... there was really no telling where it was. he'd found out that keyholes were in the oddest of places at times. in a grotto, in a tree, in a book's lock, in a talking doorknob... he even once had to hit a moon! some of them, like traverse town, took a lot of luck to find.
what if we can;t find it in time...?

They reached the treehouse and Riku blinked as he saw Sora's keyblade shining. "Sora, look" he pointed at the blade than up at the house. "it must....be in there!"
