Tenks smiled grabbing onto his nearby chocobo doll that his aunt had gotten him for his last birthday and hugged it, he shut his eyes and winced feeling the pain again " ow!" he shouted reaching back to scratch his back

" Um... Rufus..." Tifa shut the door behind her walking over in his direction " I really dont know how to say this..." she sighed kneeling down infront of him

[Reno]

Reno frowned. "whats wrong kid?"

Rufus looked at her and smiled. "what is it? something wrong?" he paryed to god their wasn't.

" My back hurts... realy bad and I keep seeing flashy things uncle!" Tenks pouted shutting his eyes hugging his chocobo tightly.

" Depends..." she placed her hands in his " It matters how you take it... Rufus... I think... im pregnant..."

Reno frowned. "here let me see. maybe you hit it wrong when you fell."

Tenks frowned slightly sitting up " It hurts realy bad Uncle..."

Tifa smiled slightly looking up at him " you... you think so...? I thought you might get frustrated or something... I dont know..." she leaned up closer kissing him on the cheek

Reno frowned, rasiing the boys shirt. his eyes widened. "my god..."

Rufus grinned. "i've... actually been hoping for another child." he blushed a bit abashedly.

Tenks pouted " Uncle Reno ive been having dreams about some blue lady... she was trying to tell me she was my mommy... but I didnt believe her!"

Tifa frowned slightly " Its because... Tenks isnt your real son...?"

[Reno]

Reno frowned, then quickly gave Tenks a grin. "good, keep telling her that! tifa will always be your mom." but his mind was running a mile a minute. he should tell Tifa and rufus, now!

"no. you see this is why i didn;t want to ask i knew you'd think that." he shrugged looking around the room, nervous, before looking at her. "i just... well i was hoping we could try for a erm... daughter..."

Tenks nodded slightly as he laid back into his bed hugging his doll " If I tell her to go away will I get better Uncle...?"

Tifa smiled slightly as she looked at him " You want a little girl?"

Reno frowned. "well... try that and see if it works. listen would you like me to get your mom?"

Tenks nodded slightly " yes peas... mommy can kiss it and make it go away right...?"

She smiled leaning upwards as she kissed him trying not to touch the areas where he had gotten infected...

"er not so sure about that but she can help the pain subside." Reno stood and walked out the door.

Rufus smiled and kissed back.

"um uh... sir?" Reno said, blushing profusly. he really had to learn how to knock...

Tifa suddenly pulled back as she glanced over in Reno's direction oddly " Hows Tenks doing...? Did you put him to bed...?"

[Reno]

Reno shuffled his feet nervously then looked at the ground. "y-yeah but... i don;t have the best of news..."

Rufus' eyes narrowed suspiciously. "what do you mean?"

"well Tenks he uh... well ah..." Reno stumbled for the words not only frightened of his boss' wrath but Tifa's as well. he still remeber the beatings he;d receieved from her when they were enmies, and now he couldn;t fight back. not to mention rufus could just shoot him.... blast his guts all over the walls... he shuddered at the image.

" Tenks what?" Tifa bilnked staring at him oddly as she stood up " How bads his fever?"
