Tenks smiled sitting in his lap then suddenly sneezed and shook his head " scuse me..." he blinked looking over at his fathers hand... the black bruises that seemed to be all over his body... " Daddy why dont your bruises go away?" Tenks asked curiously reaching over poking one of them.
There was a sudden ring at the nearby phone

Rufus winced, and grabbed his son's hand. "don;t do that. it's part of the sickness i have."
Reno blinked and skipped over to the phone, picking it up. "hello?"

" Turk wheres the boss?" a cold adult but somewhat childish voice spoke out " brother didnt seem to know where mother is... were starting to think your trying to play games with us."
Tenks pouted staring down " sorry..."

Reno rolled his eyes. "oh its you. listen, the boss isn;lt here right now, if you want to leave a message i'll tell him to call you back as soon as i can." he grinned.
Rufus smiled. "it;s ok." he glanced at Reno.

" More lies...? I dont want to talk to you... put the boss on the phone right now... I mean... we dont want anything bad to happen to the little boy do we?"
" Daddy Uncle Reno told a lie..." Tenks whispered looking over at the phone, his mother had always told him that lying was bad no matter what!

Reno scoffed. "like i'd let you." he leaned down, near the electrical outlet and pulled the plug. the phone went dead. "whoopsie." he set the phone back in its holder and smirked.
Rufus laughed. "i know son. its ok, though, don;t ever do it ok?"

" But Uncle Reno just did it! Thats not fair..." he pouted then suddenly sneezed again feeling somwhat dizzy... " uhh...." the small boy suddenly winced seeing a few things flashing through his mind and he fell out of his fathers lap hitting against the floor and hard.

"tenks!" Rufus frowned, leaning over in his seat and wincing when it caused his bruises to strain but ignored them for a moment, turning his son onto his back, making sure he was still alive. he sighed a bit, realizing he was, then checked his head.
"hey the little tyke alright?" Reno said, a bit abashed. he was supposed to protect this family after all.
"he;s sick." Rufus said evenly, feeling his head. it was just beginning to blossom with warmth. "he;s getting a fever..."

Tenks shivered slightly as he stared up at Rufus" Daddy I dont feel good..." but the true form of this sickness went much deeper than just a fever... the Jenova Cells inside of his body had finally started reacting... one by one they where replacing his normal cells... like a virus...

Rufus nodded. "i know. heh, look like we won;t go to the park today. when you're better ok? promise. Reno, can you take him to his room and put him in bed?"
Reno nodded, leaning down and picking the kid up.

The small boy shivered slightly leaning into Reno resting his head on his shoulder " Uncle Reno... can I really be a Turkey like you?"
Tifa met Reno outside as she glanced over at him walking by with Tenks " is... something wrong?"

Tenks nodded slightly shutting his eyes " Turkey..."
Tifa blinked looking at her son oddly but smiled then walked into hers and Rufus room taking off her coat, she stared down holding her stomache... this was going to be hard to tell Rufus...

Reno smiled walking down the hall to Tenks bedroom. "we're turks, not turkeys. we don;t get eatten for thanksgiving you know. but yeah i think you'd make a great Turk kid, with the right training." he laid Tenks down on his bed, covering him up in his blanket.
Rufus glanced over and smiled. "hi Tifa."
