Rivalry

[Reno]

Sephiros scowled, gripping Josh's wrists and pinning them to the floor. "you're too weak! give it up! i'll kill you and thats that."

"Not quite."

Sephiros frowned, but he didn;t get a chance to process the voice or what it meant because suddenly he was kicked in the face. He spun hitting the ground a few feet away.

Rina landed on her feet next to Josh, staring at her older brother. orange eyes glared back at her and she stared, looking a bit shocked. "Fuck..." Rina dashed forward, swiping her fingers against the ground. There was a green glow and in a flash, four daggers made of rock appeared inbetween her fingers.

Sephiros stood shakily and stared at his sister. Her eyes flashed from blue to green. wha? it didnl;t matter she was in the way of his revenge and his happiness. He sped towards her, intent on hurting her.

"Forgive me Iros." Rina murmured. She hurried forward as well and met him halfway. She spun and kicked him in the chest, hard. as he flew away she threw the daggers in her hands.

Sephiros cried out flying backwards and hitting a tree trunk. There was four loud cracks and he blinked stupidly, noticing he suddenly copuldn;t move his arms or legs.

Rina smirked. she had hit dead on. he was pinned to the tree! She approached him, looking at him poinetedly. "You sad, miserable human."

"you think this can hold me?" Sephiros shot back.

"no." Rina smirked. "but this'll hurt."

There were green sparks everywhere and suddenly Sephiros started screaming. It only lasted about ten seconds then the sparking stopped and Sephiros went limp, his eyes flashing from orange to red before closing.

Rina smiled, triumphant and her own orbs went back to blue. She studied her brother quietly, before lifting his head. "hmmm... dark rings?" she opened one of his eyes. "bloodshot." she let the eye close, feeling the ribs and wincing at how well she could feel them. "no food. insominia and malnutrition. oh Iros you idoit." She pulled out the daggers, catching him as he fell and leaned him up against the tree. she glanced back. "Josh you alright?"

[Jade]

Josh wiped the blood from his mouth spitting on the ground getting up on his hands and knees " Ill live..." he glared over in Sephiros direction... then looked up at Rina " I thought I was going to die... im so weak now..." he slammed his fist into the ground " I want my power back..." Dagmir didnt even know how to use it! It irritated him... feeling so weak...

[Reno]

"heh, don;t complain." Rina said, turning back to her brother, checking him over once more. "even with it, you wouldn;t have been able to beat him, well if he was in perfect health that is. god i don;t even know how he found the willpower to stand." She frowned, looking serious.

[Jade]

" what was that!?" Josh growled " Ive beaten him before..." he winced holding onto his broken ribs " I can do it again... my will to be with Tifa is too strong... ive made too many sacrifices in my life to just lose her to somebody like him..."

[Reno]

Rina chuckled. "and what was the sacrifice you had to make to beat him afterall? i remeber something with you killing yourself and some freaky timewarp happening." She scoffed at him.

[Jade]

" I won thats all that matters..." he coughed holding onto his side tightly " Why was he...? Dagmirs not inside of him anymore why was he acting like that? He hurt Tifa... the other day... wasnt it Dagmir that made him do those things? I mean... I know shes crazy but... deep down inside shes a good person..."

[Reno]

Rina frowned, cringing somewhat. she turned to him and chuckled. "Well uh..." she looked at the sky and sighed. "...well..."

[Jade]

" Well what...?" he walked over to her then suddenly dropped down to one knee " I want to kill him so bad... then ill never have to worry about him ever again..."

[Reno]

Rina glared at him. "you will do no such thing."

[Jade]

" I know I wont..." he smiled staring up at Rina " your too good of a friend to me and Tifa for me to kill him infront of you"

[Reno]

She scowled a bit. "no i mean you won;t kill him. peroid. end of story. you will NEVER do it."

[Jade]

" You should tell him the same thing" he scoffed looking away from her " he wont stop as long as me and Tifa are together... hes fucking crazy! I dont understand him!"

[Reno]

"no... he;s not he;s just... not reasonable right now! look at him Josh he;s starved of sleep and food, even i wouldnlt be straight in the head if i did that." She glanced at her brother frowning. "Ami came to me a few days ago, practically in tears telling me how Sephiros wouldn't even let her or Shouka in the house. hell he wouldn;t let me in his house!" Rina sighed staring at the ground. "i don;t understand. i mean... Iros may not be perfect but he was resonable enough that he stayed away from Tifa before, now somethings... changed. He doesn;t want to see anyone its not like him."

[Jade]

" Hes lost it... thats what it is... the bastard needs to learn to move on! Even when he stayed away from her he wouldnt even talk to anyone else! He just wants me gone... its all that hes waiting for... that moment for me to disapear... he told me I shouldnt even have ever been born. Rina he thinks that he and Tifa are soul mates!"

[Reno]

Rina frowned, then glanced at Josh. "Oh he can;t move on? what about you Josh? You fill that position better then he. if you lost Tifa to anyone you think life is over and you kill yourself! you give up. So don;t think he can just go and be prissy over Iros!" She looked away and sighed. "I'm well away that he is not acting himself Josh. soulmates you say? definitly... definitly not... not him." Rina shut her eyes. "i... fear someone may just have kept in contact with him withn the time he spent isolated from us."
