Rivalry

[Reno]

Rina wrote her reasearch down then rushed from the room and out the door of her home, calling back, "i'll be home soon!"

[Jade]

" We both have our own different powers Josh... your Archon form and me... I dont know what I have..." he scratched the back of his head.

Josh frowned " The armors useless when I can only use it for so long..."

" I know but... it still works...."

[Reno]

"Raichu!!" Rina cried in the mioddle of their onversation and the scientist came swopping down on cue, landing shakily. "i found out what you wanted!"

[Jade]

Raichu blinked glancing over at her " You did!? Oh thats awsome!" he ran over to her " Well have at it!"

Josh glanced over at them oddly " wait waht?"

[Reno]

Rina sihgjhed and waved lamely. "hi Josh." she wavered then sighed. "ok, well here;s the jist of it Raichu... i alwaysd thought you're dna was weird and when i studied it, i came to notice that nothing ,atched. this... warrior thingamajig is basically enstated its own dna with you. your personality was borne from him too, because i know you had a rough childhood and the way you act for being tramotized is irreguler. you're ablity to learn techniues so quickly and all thatmcame from him ANYWAYSD THATS NOT THE POINT!"

she took a deep breath. "the point is, studying a single cell made me see... an imbalance between chemical sturctures the nuclues of all your cells runs perfectly to sustain your body at higher levels, inhuman ones, and since you have no supplement of mako in you that is ODD. but its... structure is... unstable to say the least. imperfect. your Dna strands aren;t lined up correctly either. this is why, even though you grow you can only reach certain points, while further points are hidden within you..."

Rina shook her head feeling a bitr dizzy. "let me explain it this way. you're whole structure is imbalanced beause when they will come DO together they will give you a jolt of power, more then any mako could. i can easily make a compontent in a few days; a liquid to line the imblanaces up to give you that jolt, but your real power lies in your three main sources: the body, the soul and the mind. the body can be weaned easily, but the other two compoents lie in you. your mind, process of thinking, must absolutely, unconditionally want the goal you seek and your soul must NEED it. if the three line up, then i guarenntee you will get that warrior power."

she groaned, falling to her knees. "so basically, you can;t force it to happen by will alone. you have to need the power to tap into it. if this warriors soul is in you as well, he will align with your and give you the power you need, but not until that time. Deathseige is when you will need that power, but when that time will come only the future knows. i can only help with your body, i'm sure the mind could easy be bent and trained but the soul lies only in you."

[Jade]

Raichu nodded slightly " Yea... I appreciate it... I gues... I will have to start training again... just like before..." he walked up to Rina " Please hurry with that syrum... the sooner we figure this out the better... I just wish I could find somebody... like a psychiatrist? Maybe... talk to me... bring out this past life? I heard some people can get others to hypnotize them and talk about their past lives... or something...?"

[Reno]

Rina grinned. "talk to my sister Eve. she's a psychiatrist." Rina stood, exhasted. "ok i find the the... serum." she sighed and turned.

[Jade]

" Hidden?" Josh walked up to both of them " Gradd was suppost to be that hidden strength! It didnt work we both know that when we merged into one person! Your an idiot Raichu!"

Raichu laughed slightlys scratching the back of his head " Actually the God head told me im somebody else" he smiled staring at Josh " Im something way before Gradd even existed, I think... I am right Rina?"

Josh scoffed " I doubht it, I mean look at you, we have alot of the same fighting techniques because we where both Gradd!"

Raichu shook his head slightly " Yea ever notice that I have alot more than you though? and my style is completley different..."

[Reno]

"each person is different Josh get over it." Rina snapped angrily. "Raichu may very well be the only person who can save us, so don;t you ber jealous."

[Jade]

" Me jealous?" he laughed looking away " Right..." he turned and started to walk off " im going home, ill train myself to withstand my armors power... and defeat Deathsiege on my own..."

Raichu blinked staring at him oddly " I hope you can... but... Rina might be right you know. I mean if this thing in me is real... wouldnt it be great?"

[Reno]

Rina just sighed, too tired, too hungry and just slightly emotionally unbalanced to listen any longer. "i'm going home." and she walked off.

[Jade]

Raichu walked after her " Hey thanks for everything Rina..."

It was exactly 8 days later... Raichu had gone off into the mountains to train by himself, to try and harness this power... nobody had seen him once in those 8 days... He believed that in order to harness it he had to get away from everything and train only his mind and soul...

Finally by the end of the 8th day... Raichu had started to come down the trail of the mountain, his clothes where torn and tattered as he just looked upwards. He smiled staring up ahead... but there was something different about him... his once thick black hair was now a light blonde... and his eyes a light gentle green. " After all this time... I think im ready..."

Slowly he came to a stop at the top of the mountain, all that was left was the serum... Rina would help his molecules change... and then... he would be complete. He knew who he was... but he would keep that secret to himself. It was pointless to tell a name to people that knew nothing about it.

He gripped his fist looking down as the king of hearts symbol glew on his hand " This is just a bonus... my true self will defeat Deathsiege for good..."

[Reno]

Diana frowned, shifting Rina's bangs out of her sleeping face. she knew what her love was doing was needed but it was quiet unfair to push her wife this way. Rina had only finished the serum 18 hours ago and had been sleeping the whole time after it. even with mako and jenova cells in her blood, she was still human and proved that by showing her limit.

but... i suppose this is all a small price to pay if we can live a day longer.

[Jade]

Raichu shut his eyes and suddenly teleported apearing infront of Rina's home and knocked on the door as he just waited...

[Reno]

Rina stirredmand Diana jumped to her feet.

"tell em to go to hell..." Rina hissed, turning over on her bed.

Diana nodded and ran down the stairs ands oopened the door. her eyes stared wide, but oninstinct she took in the man she did not recognize and screamed.

Rina's heart jumoed to her throat and she scrmbled from the bed, rushed towards the stairs. "DIANA?!"
