He sighed as he sat down on a log and looked down at the snow. "well....why the hell didn't anyone tell me? damnit...i don't want to end up like Vincent."
Shinji sighed. "Well...you have to let him try." He folded his wings up and shivered as he heard the baby downstairs.
Mao blinked as she touched his nose and he started to giggle. He grabbed her finger and started to suck on it, his large, green eyes staring at her with love.

"I don;t have to do anything. he;s the one who has to do something damnit." Luna growled, getting away from her brother and standing before going downstairs.
Elly laughed lightly.

"I'm just saying.....if he tries, don't be all like 'don't talk to me, lalala' and such you know?" He sighed and shook his head, walking out of the room and into his own. He closed the door and started to get undressed.
Mao laughed with Elly. He flung his arms in happiness then yawned.

Luna scoffed. what did he know? she started downstairs look at her mother.
"oohh tired are we?" Elly smiled.
"where will he sleep?" Luna whispered.
"i have no idea."

Shinji sighed and looked out his window before he sent himself to bed. "come on dad...try?" He shook his head and walked to his bed, getting under the covers and closing his eyes.
Mao looked in the direction of the new voice and smiled. "ba!ba!ba!" he kicked his legs and reached out to Luna with a large smile and squeel.

Luna smiled affectioantly. she moved closer taking the child in her hands. "awe aren;t you just so cute?" as a woman she was naturally and instinctively maternal. Kids were so adorible.

Mao smiled as she picked him up. He clutched onto her as she rocked him. "baaaav...mm.." He put his hand in his mouth and looked at luna a few times before closing his eyes.
A few hours passed before Aya decided to come back home. He had thought of a lot of things and would just have to make things better from here on out. Hopefully Mao would be better off at Midgar with the other children.

As a silent agreement was made, Elly had gone to bed and Luna had Mao in her room. both were fast asleep.

Aya walked into the house quietly and blinked. All the lights were out. Everyone seemed to have gone to sleep. he yawned himself and hung up his jacket. He walked up the dark stairs slowly, not to wake anyone up. he looked at Luna's room and sighed, walking into his room next. He looked around but saw no sign of mao anywhere. "hmm..." he took his clothes off and grabbed a pair of boxers, putting them on before going to bed. He laid there and looked at the ceiling for awhile before falling asleep.
mao was sleeping on Luna's chest. His eyes fluttered lightly as he dreamed of sheep and other things.
