"Shut up!" he threw her her sword and ran inside. He took off his boots and looked around. He smiled as he saw Elly on the couch and walked over to her. "Morning mom!" He kissed her on the cheek and yawned.
Aya sighed as he stood infront of the fridge. "What to make..."

"That's because I beat Luna's butt fair and square!" He laughed and ran into the kitchen. "Hey dad, what's for breakfast?"
"I dunno...what do you want?" He looked back and frowned. "PUT THAT THING AWAY!"
Shinji blinked then looked down at his katana. "oops, sorry!"

Shinji ran upstairs and put his katana away. He forgot that he wasn't allowed to have it out in the house.
That night they had a big supper. There was some soup and a main meat dish. However, this sitting wasn't all too pleasent. Aya was dead silent and hardly ate.
Shinji sighed as he took another sppon full of soup.

Luna kept shifting in her seat nervously and she ate queitly. quiet or not quiet she was starving.
Elly looked at Aya. "whats wrong love?"

Aya sighed and stood up. "excuse me...shinji, when everyone is done, please help your mother with washing the dishes..." He put his fork down and walked up the stairs and into his bedroom.
Shinji nodded. "of course dad..." he watched Aya walk away and frowned. something was really bugging him. he could feel it.

Luna blinked then growled. "why you!" she picked up a clump of her own patatos and threw it at him.
Elly rasied an eyebrow, standing silently. "you two are cleaning this up." She hurried out of the room.

Shinji laughed as it hit his forehead and grabbed a handfull and shoved it in her face.
Aya stood at the window looking out. His spirit...had been crushed.

"glah!" Luna growled, forgetting the food and pounced on him.
"Aya speak to me." Elly said, walking behind Aya and hugging him.

Shinji growled and started to pull at her hair.
Aya sighed. "I got a phone call...not too long ago. Vincent...died. They want me to sing at his funeral...but I don't think I can." A tear ran down her face and his lip started to quiver.
