A few weeks passed and Shinji got home from his first day of school. A pout was visible on his face as he opened the door and slammed it shut. Tears filled his eyes as he ran upstairs and down the hall to his and his sister's room. He burried his pillow in Luna's pillow and started crying. The bases of his wings were bleeding and were irritated.
Aya was outside on the phone with his manager, not noticing that Shinji had come home.

Elly jumped in surprise and she frowned. "Shinji?" she hurried up the stairs.

Shinji continued to cry as his wings flapped slightly. he winced at their movement.
Aya hung up the phone and walked inside. "Luna?"

Eve frowned walking in the room. "Shinji! what happened?!" she rushed over.

Shinji looked at her and his tears fell onto her pillow. "the kids at school call me a freak and a monster! they made fun of me and some were even afraid of me! They kicked me and smashed snow in my face and...and...i tried to rip my wings off but they wont come off!" he put his face in the pillow again and started to sob.
Aya looked up the stairs and blinked as he heard crying.

"oh honey..." Elly whispered frowning. She placed her hand on his head. "come on lets get you cleaned up." she frowned, hurrying out to get warm water and bandages and antiseptic.

Aya walked up the stairs and blinked as he saw Elly ruch into the bathroom. He poked his head in and frowned. "what's up? is Luna home yet?"
Shinji sniffed and tried to suck the tears in.

"shinji?" he frowned as he rushed to the kid's room. He saw Shinji's wings bleeding and frowned. He walked up to him and picked him up, putting the boy on his lap. "what happened?"
Shinji told him the story and Aya growled. "I see."

Elly frowned as she came in placing down the accesories she would needs and got a wash clothes wet in the warm bowl of water and started to clear the blood off.

"I don't want my wings anymore...please take them off mommy!" he winced as the water stung his wounds.
"Your wings can't come off." Aya said quietly as he rubbed Shinji's head.
"Then I don't want to go to school!"

"no...i don't have to learn anything!" he pouted as she continued to clean him.
Aya sighed...he should had been ready for something like this to happen...not everyone was like him, accepting.

"shh." Elly coaxed, cleasning the wounds and then soon bandaging them up.

That night Aya tucked the kids in bed and kissed them on the forehead. "night you guys, sweet dreams." He walked out of the room and closed the door slowly and quietly. he then walked into his and Elly's room and smiled at her slightly.
Shinji sighed as he looked across the black room.
