The Music Box

Aya walked into the living room and sighed as he saw Diana. "Does she always do this when she comes here?"

Shinji blinked and smiled slightly. he hugged her legs and wrapped his wings around her. "are you ok mommy?"

[Reno]

Diana looked up at Aya in surprise. She looked out the window. "who Elly? Yes. She's always itching to fight her mom. It;s the whole, surpass your teacher thing."

Elly grinned. she leaned down, picking up Shinji in her arms and held him more firmly, "Yes of course. It;s just a sport."

Luna was still staring up at the sky in amazement. Rina was twirling her daughter's sword in her hands, watching her offspring silently.

Aya sighed and sat down on the couch. "I bet..."

Shinji smile as he hugged Elly tighter.

[Reno]

Diana smiled and shrugged, acting like none of this bothered her at all. How could it? she had basically grown up with fighters and now had a lover with the spark of it.

Elly looked down as Luna hugged her legs. "Mommy that was cool!"

Elly smiled, patting her daughter's head.

"I supposed we're done for the day." Rina said, landing on the snow. "do you still want me to keep this here?"

"Yeah." Elly nodded.

Aya looked at the window and frowned. He'd need to have a private chat with Elly tonight after the kids were asleep...

Shinji frowned. "no! it was scary!"

[Reno]

Luna stuck her tongue out at Shinji. "Baby."

Rina shook her head, laughing, and she trailed inside, both swords in hand. She trailed inside.

"hi love." Diana called. Rina smiled kissing Diana's cheek before trailing up the stairs.

Elly smiled, ruffling Shinji's hair.

"You're the baby!" Shinji stuck out his tounge and frowned.

[Reno]

"i am not!" Luna cried with indignition. This fight went on for a good while.

Later that night, Shinji quietly colored in his coloring book in the corner of the living room. It was...too quiet in the house after they came back home. He could tell that his mom and dad were not in a good mood...well, his dad more than anything. When that feeling came...he kept to himself and out of the way of breaking anything.

Aya sat in the spare room, sitting on the bed, listening to music in his headphones and writting in his music book. he had been in there for 3 hours...

Luna was near Shinji, watching him. Her brother always seemed to know when and dad weren;t happy and he always told her. She always listened to his advice.

Elly frowned, listening on the door of the spare room dejectedly. He;d been in there and missed dinner. he was really pissed at her.

she shook her head. it was bed time. she trailed down the stairs, seeing her kids in the living room, and smiled. "Kids you know what time it is."

"awe......." shinji pouted as he shut his coloring book. "I'm not tired."

Aya wrote down words that popped into his head quickly. the music was pumped up so he couldn't hear anything outside the room.

[Reno]

"do you want some warm milk?" Elly asked curiously. That technique had always worked on her.

[Rikugurl]

"no...that stuff is yucky!" he put the book away along with the crayons. He then pouted as he walked up the stairs. He walked down the hall and stopped slightly infront of the spare room. "night daddy..." there was no answer and he sighed. he ran into his and Luna's bedroom and climbed up the ladder to his bunk. He started to take off his shirt slowly and yawned.

Elly shook her head and smiled. "you too Luna." Luna sighed, nodded dejectedly, before hurrying up the stairs as well. she jumped into her bed, giggling.

Shinji tossed his shirt across the room and missed the basket. He rolled his eyes and plopped down onto his bed. He hated the top bunk but Luna chose the bottom and she was older....so she got it.
