He sighed as she helped him put his wings threw the slots.

Shinji ran to the door and ran outside. The now was getting quite deep at this time of the year. He tracked through it the best he could. The wind chilled his face but he had gotten use to it.
Aya walked out and locked the door behind him. "Alright you guys, don't go up too far...make sure you can still see me."

Shinji looked back and laughed. He reached down and picked up some snow. He rolled it up and threw it at Luna.
Aya breathed in the cold air and smiled. He still thought it was still too cold for the children...but he wanted Elly to be happy.

"AHH!" he cried as the snow when down his neck and back. "GRR!" he flapped his wings and ran at her, pouncing her and forced snow down her back.
"HEY!" Aya trotted over and grabbed Shinji's collar, pulling him up and away from Luna. "Come on you guys...you want to see mommy right?"
Shinji frowned as he tugged at his collar. "snow went down my back and it's cold."

Aya sighed. "Luna...let's go. You're going to catch a cold." He wasn't use to watching the kids...Elly was the one who did that job. He could see how tiring it was.
Shinji ran up ahead and giggled.

Luna laughed running after Shinji. They were getting closer and closer to mommy she just knew it!
"hiya!" Rina cried, laughing a bit as their swords connected.
"Mom you're werid!" Elly said laughing joyously. Her wings flapped, holding her in their air battle.

Shinji saw his grandma's house and laughed. He started to run as fast as he could and turned the corner. His golden eyes looked up into the sky and blinked. He saw his grandma Rina and his mommy in the air with swords. His tummy started to turn as he stared at the swords. "MOMMY!"
Aya walked up and frowned as he saw Elly. He placed his hands on his hips and watched.

Luna stopped next to them, looking up and gasped.
clang! Their swords met once more. "Mommy!" Elly froze, her eyes wide. Rina was looking at her daughter curiously, then as one both their heads turned to look down at the snow covered land. they took in Aya, hands on his hips and not looking too please, Shinji's frightened one, and Luna's awed one. Rina's and Elly's swords were still caught in a stalemate but all thoughts of finishing their match left them.
shit!!! Elly paled a bit.

Aya shook his head in disappointment and walked into the house.

Elly frowned, feeling her hand wavering. Rina looked at her daughter, moving her sword and seathing it, then slowly took Elly's from her hands. Elly's sword had always been kept here, because it would be safer for her kids to not know. Or so Aya thought. Personally... Rina didn;t agree.
Elly frowned, smiling shakily at her mother before flying down quickly, landing in front of Shinji. "Honey..." she leaned down touching his face lightly, unarmed. it was just her, the her he always had known. "It;s just me."
