The nurse blinked then nodded, "well alright." she walked out of the room.
Daron looked at Kei confused. he didn;t understand...

Kei looked over at Daron. He walked over and took the boy, helping him stand. "Come on, I have to get out of here..." He helped Daron walked down the bright hallway. the windows were wide open and the sun shown down on Kei. Smoke started to arise from his body as he winced.

"No...I've never left you behind...and I never will." he winced as they got to the main hallway. The people waiting suddenly shouted as they saw the man smoking up.

Daron whimpered and tried to sheild Kei from the sun. he started to cry, "Kei..."

Kei closed his eyes as he opened the door. The birds were churping and the sun shown down on the hot black top. Kei grabbed Daron's waist tightly and jumped on the roof when no one was looking. Suddenly his shoulder caught on fire...and then his whole arm. He screeched in pain but tried to keep moving as fast as he could back home.

Kei jumped down and smashed through the window of their living room. Slowly he let got of Daron and crawled into a dark spot in the room. He patted his arm and the flames went out. His breathing quickened as he looked up at the ceiling.

Daron sat up slowly his whole body shaking and he shook his head. he looked at Kei and crawled over to him, "Kei... Kei are you ok?"

Kei looked at him. "I can't live like this much longer Daron..." he slowly looked at his arm which now had horrible burns on it. "I need to feed again..." he shook his head and looked away. "but I can't..."

Daron placed his hands on Kei's shoulde3r gingerly as not to hurt the older man, "Kei you can;t leave me! you can;t!!!"

Kei grabbed the boy with his other hand and shook him. "I will yell the same thing at you someday! WILL YOU LISTEN!? no...no you won't! because all humans die!" He could hardly talk let alone yell. "I cannot feed....I will not feed. YOU HEAR ME!? I WILL NOT FEED!" He let go of the boy's arm and sat back.

Daron sat in shock. Kei, rarely if at all ever yelled at him. what he said make sense. Daron swallowed and looked down his next emotion sadness, "so it doesn;t matter what i say or what i do... you'll just leave me..." Daron looked at Kei his eyes holding pain and looking like his whole world just crashed down ontop of him. he shut his eyes and drew a breath and anger grew within him. his eyes snapped open holding pure rage, "DAMN YOU!" he reached over and put his hands on Kei's chest and pushed him into the wall violently and then leaned close then kissed him roughly.

Kei closed his eyes as he felt a sensation go down his spine. Slowly...he kissed back. It had been awhile since he had really kissed anyone. It felt weird...but it never made him what to forget the feeling. After a few minutes, he pulled away and looked at Daron oddly. "I'm more than a fatherly figure to you aren't I?"
