Daron smiled at Kei, "yeah you got to hate them." he reached up and brushed a hand through a lock of Kei's hair, unnesscessaryily but it was fun to do. though it did hurt his arm like hell.

Kei sighed as he filled everything out, lying about half the stuff he wrote down. He got to the end where it said 'signature.' He frowned as he wrote 'Kei' in the space. He didn't like giving his name out to the public... He stood up and walked to the door. "here." he handed the clip board to the doctor and sighed.

Daron sighed feeling a child like urge to be held for the rest of his life.
"very good," the docter said, "you may stay with him if you like or can come back tonight."

Kei looked back at Daron. "I'll stay with him for now..." He nodded at the doctor then walked back to the bed where Daron was. He sat down in the chair and yawned.

the docter smiled and went about to his work.
Daron looked at Kei and whimpered trying to sit up.

"Stay down and get your rest." Kei spoke with a fatherly tone in his voice. he looked at the window and suddenly went into fear. The sun was coming up. He jumped to the window and shut the curtains tightly. A bit of smoke was seen coming off his body as he sighed.

Kei stept back and sighed. "I'll be fine...just worry about getting yourself better child." He walked back to the chair and sat down. As long as the curtains staid closed, he'd be ok for now. The bright lights still hurt his eyes quite badly.

"i'm not a child," Daron sudeenly sat upset and glared at Kei. he didn;t know why but he felt horrible warm and in pain and a longing to be held that he just couldn;t take it anymore. he started to just babble out his feelings, "i nearly died today. i saved yours yesterday and i don;t think you care. i feel like shit, and know things a child never should! i feel like i'm being compared to Sho as well!" Daron put a hand over his mouth. he turned away and curled up and started sobbing.

Kei blinked as his mouth dropped open slowly. He stood up and leaned over, pulled Daron close to his chest. He swallowed hard as he ran his fingers through the boy's hair. "Daron...Sho had a horrible death....I could have prevented it too....but i was too blind to understand what had happened....and it was too late to save him. I guess I haven't gotten over it. I don't mean to over shadow you Daron...I don't. I didn't even know that I had talked about him that much. I'm sorry...forgive me. FORGIVE ME!!" He held the boy closer as tear fell down his face. "You are a child to me....since I have lived too long. Even the oldest man that lives today is a child to me...you must understand...I won't ever say it again....just please don't hate me." he tried to hold back the tears....but it seemed impossible.

Daron looked up at Kei, tearstreaked, and hugged Kei tightly and whimpered, "Kei...i'd never hate you, i love you! but i just felt i was more of a burden to you then anything else... you wanted to die just two days ago... and so... i guess i felt like i failed you. i try so hard to outshine who Sho was to you... i tried to be the best for you so you could be happy! heh but look at me i'm just some kid on self pity who should of died years ago."

Kei looked at him oddly but sighed. The kid had gone through a lot...the whole blood thing had happened days ago... "Don't feel that this is your fault...I've been trying to kill myself years before I met you...even on the day we met I was giving up." A shiver went down his spine as he heard the door open. He let go of Daron and sighed.

Daron blinked in alarm when Kei pulled away then glanced over at the door as a nurse walked in. he wanted to growl in annoyance but settled for looking down and wiping his eyes.
