Daron looked down tears in his eyes and he nodded, "yes," he said his voice choked. he sucked in his breath. he was crying too damn much as of late and he was being cowardly. if Kei refused him well... then Kei refused him. Daron breathed lowly and looked at Kei and said again, "yes you are."

Kei nodded slowly. "I see....tonight....I...I'll feed...but now...I must sleep. you sleep too..." He slid down the wall and closed his eyes as his good shoulder hit the floor.

Daron smiled softly and ran a hand through Kei's hair then curled up near him. he had told Kei his many secerts... question was, was that a good thing?

Kei fell into a deep sleep.
2:00am was the time that Kei woke up. He opened his eyes slowly and looked down. Daron was gone from his side. With his good arm, he pushed himself up and looked around slowly. He held onto the walls as he walked to the closet and got his coat. He walked to the front door and opened it. Now he would leave....to feed...

Daron sighed standing in his room looking out the window dazedly. he looked up hearing the door and walked towards the living room, "Kei?"

Kei looked back at the boy. "hmmm?" His hood was over his face as he could hear rain fall down on the roof.

Daron walked over to Kei and hugged him and in a bold move kissed his cheek, "you're leaving?"

Kei looked at him and nodded slowly. "I'll be back in about a hour." He pulled the coat close to himself and left, walking down the stairs of the apartment.

Daron sighed shutting the door lightly. Kei was a great person but he wondered how their relationship would go now thast his true feelings were out in the open.

Kei walked out into the alley and looked around. He hated doing this...he felt like such a monster, feeding off the life of others. He couldn't live with a half burned arm though... He sighed as he looked up an the rain hit his face...it burned a bit but he had gotten use to it over the years. He walked down the alley and looked around at things. Hopefully he didn't cause that much panic at the hospital.
After awhile, he suddenly felt sharp pains in his back as he heard a gun go off. He winced and fell to the cold ground. A man behind him laughed as he walked over his body. The man searched Kei's pockets and growled as he found nothing. The man walked away, quite disappointed.
Slowly Kei looked up and smirked, his fangs formed and his eyes wild. Blood ran down his back as he pushed himself up. The man stopped and looked back at Kei. Horror struck his face as he noticed that Kei was still alive. "What the--" Before the man could finish his sentence, Kei had ran and pushed him up against the wall violently. He dug his fangs into the man's neck and started to drink his blood.

To pass the time Daron started to clean up the glass of the broken window and threw it away then covered the window. they had to get that fixed. once he wassd done he laid on the couch and waited for Kei to come back. like always.

Half a hour passed and Kei had the man on the ground now. A huge whole was planted in the man's neck, blood ran down the alley slowly...the rain washing it away. Blood ran down Kei's neck and onto his chest. The bottom parts of his face were covered with the man's blood. This was a feast on Kei's part...he would get all the blood he needed for the next 6 months.

Daron sighed cleaning up things absentmindedly. he hated Kei not being there. it made him uneasy.

The door of the apartment opened and Kei slowly walked into the livingroom. He walked to the bathroom, taking a towel and wipping all the blood from his body. He took off his shirt and walked out, putting the towel in the trash.
