She mumbled, "Stil should have tossed it." she pulled the pillow down to her, slaping it and placing her head on it, with her bag still curled in her arms. "Good night." she said sarcasticly.

" yeah sure..." he said walking over to his bed laying down staring up at the ceiling god... I hate trains there so boring... I need a drink but my damn flask is empty

She woke up in the midle of the night, and noticed the moonlight glaring in. "God..." she grunted, standing up and closeing the window, then drawing the blindes down. She rubbed her head still drowsy and sat back down on the bed, glancing over at him. She grunted, scooted back on the bed and leaned aginst the wall, pulling out a ciggarette and striking a match, lighting up the room dimly.

Slowly he glanced over in her direction, he hadnt been able to get any sleep for a while " whats the matter cant sleep?" he asked just staring at her

"I just woke up." the room was so dark the only thing visble was the flame on her ciggarette. "I didnt know if you were awake, your eyes werent glowing." She pulled her knees up to her closing her eyes.

" yeah... I thought id keep my eyes closed for once..." slowly he sat up leaning up against the wall " I guess I feel a bit safer that usual... dont really know why either"

She smiled. "Becasue big bad Dr. Paine is here to save the day." she gave a chuckle thinking of Rikku. "I rather miss Yuna actually. Most the time I end up sitting up half the night thinking of her and the idiots I traveled with." the ashes fell down on her legs, giving her a bit spark of pain and her letting out a tiny yelp, tensiing up and then laying her head back on her knees.

" its none of my business really but... have you ever thought of being with anyone else? She kinda just stays then leaves you like its nothing..." he shrugged slightly " but then again thats just my opinion from what ive seen"

"I know she can seem pretty criuel, but she has the kindest eyes. She use to not be like this, but I think she'll go back some day and settle down." she smiled, and walked back over to the window. She lifted the shades back up, and reopend the window letting in a flood of moonlight. She tossed her ciggarette out. "Everything will get better." she gave him a smile, and closed the window, letting down the shades putting them both back in darkness.

His eyes glew a slight green in the dark as he kept his glaze on her for a while then looked away " I guess... Love is pointless if you ask me... all it ever does is come back and stab you in the back." He reached down under the bed grabbing his sword as he laid it on the bed

"Only someonw who has been severly hurt can feel that way. But think about it like this, when you have it is it pointless?" she sat back down on her bed, back aginst the wall with her knees again curled up to her. "Who hurt you anyway?"

" Id rather not talk about my life or my past" he said taking his sword out from its sheate. He reached inside his coat taking out a small stone as he began to sharpen it slowly dragging it along the edge of the blade. His life was something he wouldnt share with anyone... it was pointless really.

She layed down and stared upwars in the darkness. "Alright. But Im here if you need me to talk to." she rolled over towards his direction. "Mysterious stranger." she smiled, looking at the glow of his eyes, and rolled away back to sleep.

" When I hired you I wasnt looking for a friend, nor do I need anyone to talk too" he said putting his sword back in its case as he laid down. He always seemed to push people away... he wasnt sure if he liked being alone or anything...
