The Trail of Death

[paine]

Her eyes sprang open and she looked up at him, kneeing him in the side off the bed. "What are you doing?!" she jumped up angry standing over him.

He fell down staring up at her with a frown " I healed your hand..." he said looking away. It was the same... even when he helped people, that was why he didnt want friends. He stood up dusting himself off " Forget it I guess, ill just leave" he turned walking back to the door

SHe grabbed him bu his arm. "You caught me off guard, I'm sorry." she led him back over to the bed ushing him down. "You stay." She went back to her bed tearing off the sheets and the pillow, tossing them out the window crunching the glass under her boots. She bent down and grabbed her bag, shaking the glass off of it. SHe let out a sigh and looked back at him. "Sorry about the mess, I'll pay for the window, sheets, pillow, and so on." She bent back down and started picking up the glass.

He smiled slightly staring at her as he watched her " d... dont worry about it, whos to say they will be able to make us pay for it once we leave the train. I personally plan on dying soon anyways..." Slowly he looked away from her as he just stared at the ground, why did he hate his life so much...?

[paine]

"I already told you your not going to die." she picked up the last piece of glass tossing it out the window, pulling a piece out of her hand. She opend her bag, pulling out her usual ciggarette and lighting it. "I guess we wont have to pay. I guess I've caused a lot of trouble so far." she sighed. "Trouble seems to follow me."

[Jgains]

" Same here..." he said silently as he glanced back up at her smiling slightly. " You know... your the first person ive ever really talked too in who knows how long..." it was probrably since his family where killed in reality now that he thought about it

[paine]

"Well, I'll be bugging you untill we get that bounty." she smiled, sitting back on the bed pullingf her legs up to her. "How long untill we get there?"

[Jgains]

" Till nightfall... we will have to find an inn when we get there..." slowly he brushed his hand through his long black hair " god I hate trains... " he put his hand over his stomache feeling it growl again

She walked over to him placing a piece of chewing gum in his hand. "Its all I got. I suggest going over to the dining car." she sat in the floor in front of him. "I'll try not to kill people when we reach Alexandria this time." She smiled.

[Jgains]

" Thanks... but I dont really feel like eating..." he said putting the gum in his coat pocket. Slowly he took it off setting his coat at the side of his bed then looked down at her " yeah well... just try your best not to bother the guards... though there a bit more laid back in Alexandria..."

[paine]

"Yeah. Yuna's going to be there..." she sighed. "Im wondering if im going to see her. She'll proubably avoid me though." she shrugged playing with a piece of her hair.

[Jgains]

He frowned slighly staring at her eyes " if I where you id give up on her... the way she acts... thats not what love really is." he sighed and slowly stared down at the ground. He new what it was... and he had lost it so easily... it was the main reason why he didnt trust anyone anymore, to get close would mean to just get hurt or lose someone else...

She looked down. "Shes not so bad." she frowned slightly standing back up with her ciggarette, climbing back on the bed. "Maybe i'll see her there." she sat on the dge of thebed, still looking at the ground.

" You asked me earlier who hurt me..." he frowned slightly looking up at her " do you really want to know about me? and why im so screwed up?"

"Only if your comfortable telling me." she looked up at him.
