Audace sighed and leaned his elbows on the window sill and just watched Kuni wishing he could get a closer veiw. he rolled his eyes then smiled, "oh well one veiw is better then nothing...." he leaned his head on his arms and continued watching but his mind started to wander back to his tribe. would his father even care?

Kumi slowly fell asleep. The sound of the water flowing could put him to sleep even if there was a tribal threat. who was the guy anyway, who did he think he was? just coming into the palace like that. Where the hell were the guards?

Audace scowled. the prince (er.. whatever) was so damn lucky. he had everything he needed. money family protection. he knew nothing of the outside world. nothing like Audace did. he knew everything out there. all the dangers and the the horrors he'd face. being scared and deathly hungry.
he laid down and glared at the wall. no Kuni was so lucky he should be grateful of what he had.

A small kick went against Kuni's side. He opened his eyes and looked up at his father. She stood up and bowed. "I'm sorry father, I must have...." "Shh..." his father whispered. 'You should talk to the boy, he's about your age. I think you need to talk to people that live outside the walls of the palace. You might learn something."

"Eviter," Audace muttered lightly looking at the metal of his sword. he touched it lightly and ran his hands against it. he sighed and shook his head, there was no use in remebering the old times. it would just cause pain.

Kuni frowned but bowed to his father. "As you wish father." He took his sword and walked back to the palace. He walked up to Audace's room and knocked on the door. "I'd like to visit." he looked down and frowned.

"by all means come in your hininess," Aidace said smirking but not moving from his spot on the bed. his eyes were focused on the door though and he set down his sword.

He opened the door and entered the room. He closed the door behind him and walked to the large window over seeing the palace. "My father said I should talk to you." he looked at Audzce and frowned. "I don't know why, probably to tell me about the world outside the walls." He crossed his arms and looked down.

Audace shut his eyes, "you've never been outside the castle walls? not once in your life? doesn;t seem pleasent to me i'd at least try and get OUT of this oplace just to have some fun."

"you don't think I ever wanted to go outside?" he gripped his fist and looked at Audace. "Your damn tride is trying to kill me and my father! My life would be so much better if your tribe wasn't so damn greedy with power. Our dynasty has been the best in Japan and they wan't to ruin the peace!"

Audace opened one of his eyes and looked at Kuni steadily, "and honestly want to know whats its like to live in my tribe? you want to know whats out there from this fake fantasy were everything is prefect?"

Audace shut his eye and staied quiet then answered softly, "no one innocent..." Audace's hands were tracing the dragon design that he knew so well. he bit his lip and staied quiet waiting for Kuni to say something.

"What do you mean no one is..." There was a knock on the door and Kuni closed his mouth. "Yes, who is there?"
The door opened slowly and one of the palace's servents stepped in. "My prince, The emperor just got a letter from the Kirikomo tribe. They have captured the general and our army."
Kuni just looked at her with a blank stare. "no..."

Audace got on his elbows and looked at the servant for a moment then blinked. this was not going to be good. he blinked glanced at Kuni.
