Kuni rolled his eyes. Why did he have to be right? He let go of the branch and fell down to the ground. He landed gracefully and stood up slowly, glaring at Audace. He sneered at Audace then started to walk away and out of the woods.

Audace shivered and smirked. he followed Kuni and easily caught up. with ease he lifted the boy up and got him in front of him on Thunder then still held the reins and took of back towards camp, "now stop being angry at me." Audace said trying to keep his teeth from chattering. he always had hated the cold. it was very unforgiving.

Kuni growled and hit Audace in the side with his elbow again. He fell off the horse once more, got up and started to run off. The mud gripped onto Kuni's bare feet as he ran down the plain.

Audace considered his choices then jumped off Thunder and tied him to a branch then ran after Kuni catching up with him quickly. he rembered this scene once before. when he himself was a wild boy who was also so disobeying. if not for Eviter he'd be exactly like Kuni...
Audace growled and pounced ramming right into Kuni and throwing them both into the ground Audace holding him down.

Kuni turned over and spit out the mud that had gotten into his mouth. "Damnit! get the fuck away from me!" he kicked Audace in the chest and got up. His clothes were covered in mud and were very heavy. He walked though the watery mud, away from Audace. His hair was also covered in mud and it fell across his face.

Audace growled not letting him get away that easyily. he got to his feet in record tiome grabbed one of Kuni's arm's turned him around and slammed him against a trunk of a tree. he glared angrily at Kuni, "WILL you shut up and stop being so SELF-CENTER?!"

The breath was taken out of Kuni as Audcae slammed him up on the tree. He took a deep breath but didn't say anything. He just stared at the mud. He had to calm the anger inside of him before he ended up killing Audace. "I want to go by myself. leave me be."

"and you honestly thinking you can get ANYWHERE?! you're a fool to think you know that tribe enough to get the army out." Audace lifted his hand and smacked Kuni in the face trying to knock some sense into the boy, "you're a damn sheltered prince that knows nothing of this world! you're a selfish annoying prick and i'd rather NOT see you get KILLED out there!"

Kuni paused for a moment. He then took his sword out slowly. "I'm sorry." He then suddenly plunged the blade into Audace's leg. "Don't get in my way boy."

Audace's hands tightened on Kuni's shoulder his eyes wide. he barly glanced down at the blade then back at Kuni his eyes filled with pain beyond belief. mental and physical tied together and the betrayal he felt was unbareable. most of all it felt like that sword at not hit his leg but his heart a thousands times. he stared at Kuni unable to believe not WANTING to believe it. he didn;t move just staied in that position until his leg buckled and the blood began to soak his pants.
"...i should have never trusted you," Audace muttered his eyes filling with unshed tears and his eyes narrowed turning to loathing. he rasied his hand and punched Kuni in the face then he walked backwards collapsing onto the floor. he stared up at the grey sky not even bothering to get up. he might as well die...

Kuni's eye twitched a few seconds after Audace punched him. He blinked slowly. Kuni had never seen that look in anyone's eyes before. That look did soemthing to kuni that he couldn't explain. It was the look of a broken heart, fallen love and betrayel. It was the look of a person giving up hope.
Being the future emperor, Kuni couldn't take that look with a cold heart. He shethed his sword and took off his shirt. kneeling down, he wrapped the shirt over Audace's leg tightly. He then walked to Thunder and took the reins. He pucked Audace up with all his strength and put him ontop of the horse, mounting himself. he wrapped his arms around Audace and took the reins in his hand.
Thunder slowly started to walk off. Kuni didn't know where they were headed, but they were going there together.

Audace shut his eyes and didnlt say a word. what was the point. Kuni really didnlt give a damn most likely. he probably was closer to killing him then actually being kind... he could feel the blood mingling with the shirt. how damn deep did Kuni cut him anyhow? he sighed sorrowfully the many thoughts in his mind the pain in his heart and the pain in his leg was getting to be too much these days....

They traveled in silence till the sky darkened and it was near impossible to see anything infront of them. Kuni had no idea what direction they were headed or if they would ever bump into another town or village. He couldn't stop shaking since he didn't have a shirt on for a good 6 to 7 hours in the rain. Then mud from his hair ran down his back and face but he didn't care.
He himself ran out of hope. He had lost his only friend.

Audace himself was crying silently. he couldn;t rember the last time he ever cried outright into broken sobs. he didn;lt have the strength to. he;d rather just fall into oblivion for enternity and never come back. in all his life of living with his mother's loving touch, his father's harsh lessons and beatings, his brothers strong will and pride just to live on, and Ciko caring and sharp wit... he had known how to live through pain but... when he had fallen in love... it changed everything. betrayal hurt thousands times more worse then any other possible thing....
'NEVER. FALL. IN. LOVE.' the words rang in Aydace's mind. more tears. more pain. more hopelessness. a small sob escaped his lips.

Kuni was about to fall asleep when he saw a house out in the distance. When Thunder came up to the house, Kuni dismounted and walked to the door, knocking on it. There was no answer. he walked around and looked through the windows. He thenknocked on the door again but still no answer.
Kuni sighed and smashed the door open with his foot. The door flung open and Kuni peeked in. Everything was dark and moist. He wlaked back to Thunder and took Audcae down from it. He dragged/carried Audace inside and sat him on a chair near the table.
He looked around the house slowly. It seemed like no one had lived there for awhile. He walked into the wine room and saw why. A man hundfrom the ceiling and a paper was posted on his shirt. kuni read it and sighed. The tribe came and took all the man's wine and left him there hanging. Kuni cut the rope and took the man outside. He then went back inside the house and started up the fireplace.
