Audace nodded and looked at Kuni, "and you really care about him don;t you?" he blinked curiiusly and sighed. he remebered that feeling. Ciko and Eviter he cared about and looked at them now.

Kuni looked at him and raised his eyebrow. "Yes I do......he's like a father to me." He looke down and sighed. He knew that his master wouldn't like the fact that Kuni would be adding audace to the army.

"yeah i can see how. its good to know someone looks out for you jsut as much as you l;ook out for them...." Audace blinked suddenly and blushed, "heh forget that i'm just babbling now." he shook his head his blonde hair bouncing.

Kuni smiled. "i'm sure that you'll find someone out there that will watch over you. I'll try my best to keep you safe, although I'm not doing a good job keeping myself safe." he blushed a little then sighed.

Audace smiled atKuni, "yeah but the choice of words bodyguard means it's my job to watch you not the othern way around silly. it was my fault and my idoitic idea that you even got hurt in the first place!" he shook his head sadly.

Kuni frowned. "It wasn't your fault, you didn't know." He smiled at Audace to make him feel a little bit better. "Let's just try and stay together next time ok?"

Audace nodded and smiled slightrly, "yeah." but still even thought Kuni forgave him he couldn;t explain the almost absoulute terror he had felt thinking Kuni had died back there. and to live with the knowledge it was all his fault... again.... would be unbearable. the rational feelings in his head was telling him he was just over thinking but that tugging feeling that it was something more.... Audace shook his head in confusion.

Kuni frowned. There seemed to be something bugging Audace. "You know, you can tell me what's on your mind. I'm a good listener you know." he smiled slightly as the horses brought them down into a small valley.

"i would tell you if i could figure it all outmyself," Audace said resonably. he shook his head again and looked at Kuni and his breath caught slightly. damn it why was he doing this to him?!

Kuni looked at him oddly. "Maybe tonight you can sit down and think about things."
They rode for a few hours in silence. Kuni sighed and broke it. "What made you have the urge to enter the palace?"

"urge?" Audace said and looked at him then thought about it, "i don;t know... first i could think of no better place to hide second of all i wanted to meet you. plus i wanted to compare places..... the tribr and your palace and i saw some strange results..."

"Why did you want to see me? Many people don't know what I look like. Is that why you wanted to see me? To know what I look like?" he frowned. The only time that the public saw him was when he was 5. It was at his mother's funeral when all the people from around Japan came and gave their prayers. He would be out in public more if it wasn't for the war.

"yes and also to know what little mystries and secerts you have," Audace said and shrugged, "i'm a curious boy and when i get over curious i do dumb things but i say it was luck that got my in the palace when it did. after all i'm helping you right?"

"yea, that's true. I bet you never thought that this would happen did you? I bet you knew that you were going to be thrown in the dungeon." He laughed a bit then frowned. That's exactly what was bound to happen to Audace in the beginning. Kuni never even gave the boy a chance. It was a good thing that his father got the letter. It must have been fate that brought the two here together. Kuni had a good reason why he didn't trust Audace from the beginning though. His tribe did kill his mother.
