"Bon-Bon..." Roxanne whispered, not liking how her girlfriend suddenly looked so distraught and at a loss for words. In fact, they all seemed to be. It was like throwing a stone in a still pond. once the stone hits the water it ripples, disturbing everything in tiny waves.
What they needed what the ripples left behind. Something calm.
"Bonnie..." Feet crunched onto the ground as another approached her. They were both fairly tall, but even still, Sanyi had to tip his head a bit to meet her eyes. "I know you feel... I... After we saw that... the water..." He shut his eyes and shook his head. "I can't stop thinking about my family either..."
He knew he shouldn't do it. His parents always said stay inside when it was storming like this. But Ame wouldn't stop crying and Hiroki kept picking on him. He just wanted to be alone for a little bit. Just as he was slipping outside the window of his room though- "Sanny! Neh, Neh are you going to the hill? I wanna go!" It was his little brother, Thomrus. Or better known as- "No, Tommy. You can't come." Sanyi whispered. "But WHHHY?" "Sssh!!!" He looked around before hissing. "Because you'll just get scared and start crying. So stay here!" And, without looking back, he took off. The wind was pretty bad, but still, getting to the hill only took a little time. It wasn't really a hill, more of a wall - but the boulders were jagged, making them somewhat easy to climb. And up high was a little pocket of land, hidden in trees. A perfect secret place. He had found it a few weeks ago and loved to come up here to be alone and play. The only one who knew about it besides him was Tommy, who was too little to climb up the hill on his own. The farther he could get was half way. And when Sanyi helped him up there, he started to cry about how high he was and Sanyi had to help him down and take him home. So when he started climbing, he never expected to be followed. "Sanny!" Sanyi looked down, seeing his little brother standing there, at the bottom of the hill. He was holding onto his little stuffed bear he named, for some strange reason, Doggy. He felt his annoyance spark. "Sanny. Help me up!" "No! Go home!" Sanyi shouted before turned and running higher into the trees.
He wasn't sure how long he was up there, hidden in the trees as he pretended he was the hero of whatever game he was playing when it started to rain and the wind picked up so hard leaves were being ripped from the trees. He held himself, starting to shiver, and knowing he'd best get home. And then, he thought he heard some. A little voice on the wind. 'Sanny?!' "Tom-" He started to call as he turned around. There was a sudden crack, a tree branch being snapped right off of a nearby tree. Carried in the hurricane winds, it smacked into Sanyi hard, and then there was nothing but blackness.
He woke up sometime later. He remembered being cold and wet, his head pounding fiercely. The rain had stopped, the wind was strangely calm. The boy got up, not noticing the dried blood matted in his hair. He was so confused... until he stepped out of the trees.
"Wha....What...?"
It didn't really make sense. Surely he had to be dreaming. It was like the ocean had risen. There was no longer a downtown - instead the water was reaching halfway up to his little place. The buildings has collapsed under the onslaught and things he wasn't ready to identify were floating on the surface. He heard something tumble to the ground behind him, making him jump and turn around. Laying on the ground, dirty and wet, was a tiny fluff. He approached it warily, poking it. When it didn't move, he turned it around.
It was Doggy. "...TOMMY?! TOMMY!" He yelled, standing and looking around suddenly. Was he there? Did he make it to the top? But, a keep sweep of the small place. told him no. His little brother wasn't there.
But he did find him. He went to part of the wall he could climb down, thinking maybe he made it halfway again. And then he shouted. Because there he was. Thomrus Edlyn. He was laying, twisted on a rock, the water just able to reach him and pooling around him. It was a stark pinkish red. He had made it half way, and must of tried to climb the rest, but with the rain and winds, slipped. He was dead.
Sanyi shut his eyes, which were starting to water as well, trying to block out the memory that, like Bonnie, he had to face. Finally, he whispered softly, "Back then... I couldn't protect Tommy. I was his big brother and he couldn't count on me to save him." He didn't notice the way Kadaj suddenly looked away from them all, his own guilt obvious. "I... I'm not going to make the same mistake twice though. My mothers, my Pokemon, my friends both old and new... You guys are my family now." He reached up placing his hands on her shoulders, "I don't care how scared I am. I'll walk through water I can't even see through if it means protecting my family!" He smiled to her, suddenly. "So don't be scared Bonnie. I'm looking after you."
There was a silence, before a hand took Bonnie's squeezing it lightly, "We're looking after you." Came a soft correction, Roxanne smiling to her girlfriend. "We're looking after each other." Tensai added, his smile large and encouraging. "We're together on this now. We won't let each other down."
"Min!" The legendary grit his teeth again, realizing this man wasn't going to play fair. Two on one... but he wasn't afraid! He'd take on 1,000 Pokemon if he had to! He flew out of the way of the shadow ball, but even he knew he couldn't dodge the next attack. Electricity seemed to come around him at all angles and hit hard. "Miiiin!" He grit his teeth, little yellow lightning bolts flowing through him and hindering his movements. It looked like he would be beaten - but just as Itzel was jumping up to hit the Shaymin he... flew through him?!
Pink petals danced, Shaymin suddenly gone. It was an illusion!
"MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!" And from above, another energy ball flew down for Itzel.

Bonnie sniffled, hearing the horrible memory that Sanyi had to face. She was luck, she didn't have to see her parents suffer like that. She only hoped they drowned, though it was a long and painful death, it was better than being torn apart by broken wood of their ship. How the Zorua, caged and frightened was able to make it, beat her. Perhaps, it wasn't even the same one. Her head shook, making her brunette hair fall into her face a bit as she wrapped her arms around Sanyi and Roxy boy, bringing them into a warm hug. "I love you guys..." Her voice cracked through her tears and one by one, the rest of the team members walked closer, being taken into the hug, starting with Namine, then Tensai, Roxel, Lucina, Sammy, Gunnar and Kadaj.
Together, they shared a group hug. Already they had been though quite a lot but nothing would be even close to what was awaiting them. They knew, deep down in their heart and soul, they were risking their life to save the world, just like many of their parents had before them and they all knew that it might not end the same way. Someone could die. "Come on..." The tallest member spoke, slowly pulling away from the hug she had created. "There's a flute that needs to be found and quickly. Together?" A dark skinned hand reached out, feeling her lover's hand being placed above it. Each member got the idea, placing their hands together over hers before shouting into the open forest.
"TOGETHER!"
"DODGE IT!" The man ordered, the little dog quickly looking up to see the powerful attack flying right for him but it was too late. The order was called only seconds from the impact and the blue puppy went sailing from the attack. He rolled through the flowers, whimpering when rocks cut his fur open. Knowing well that the sky form of Shaymin was rather spunky and rewarding, he knew he would watch the pokemon roll in pain, boasting to himself that he was able to land a hit. It gave the blonde haired man enough time to pull out an even more unfair move.
"Thunder." He ordered simply, catching the legendary off guard for as he turned around in the air, it could see a massive figure of a pokemon behind the man and then there was nothing but pain and the clap of thunder above them. The man watched as the small legendary fell down into the flowers he had stung from, calling in pain and losing it's power, returning to its land form in hopes his hurt body would blend in. The Electravire that had been called secretly was called back into her pokeball just as the murkrow landed on her master's shoulder again. Another ball, this one the color that indicated it being a heal ball, pointed towards the electrike, calling him back and placing him on his belt.
The shaymin, though trying to hide, continued to whimper from burns he gained from the shock. What the man wasn't planning was a sudden orb appeared to his side, like a large bubble or droplet of rain. A blonde eyebrow inched up but before he could study it, it suddenly glowed and sucked him in. "NAAAAAAAAAAH!!!" With the flash faded, the portal disappeared, leaving the field of flowers in silence for even the shaymin was quieted.

Leaves stirred in the empty clearing, no signs left of the team that had once been there except for the imprints of footsteps that crushed the grass and the few wet droplets of tears that may have fallen. The team was already gone.
Wings flapped, Pokemon soared the cirrus clouds seeming to wrap around them like a cloak. As the road the air currents, their determination fueling their Pokemon's speed, a scent started to reach them. It was hard to describe; like a burning tang almost but subtle.
"What is that?" Lucina asked, her nose wrinkling a little as she looked over the side of Salamence, as if expecting to find the grass below them suddenly aflame. "I know." Tensai said without a doubt in his voice but his eyes were serious. In his mind, he couldn't help recalling his daddy Sora, unsuspectingly reaching into the closet for a blanket where some of Lily's newborns were sleeping, and instead the little Pichus giving him quite a shock. And that certainly wasn't the first time. "It's the smell of electric burns."
"Shaaay?" Came a small call in suddenly the empty field. There seemed to be no more danger; the world around him peaceful and quiet again. But he knew why this was - there could only be one reason that his adversary had so suddenly and instantly disappeared. 'Giratina....'

"W-what?" Roxel questioned, hearing his best friend's answer. That wasn't good. it explained why all the clouds were formed towards a certain area though and he wondered if there was a pokemon battle just a mile away. But who would be battling in such a deserted area like this? "Come on! We have to hurry! My friend may be in trouble!" With the sudden call of the little Shaymin, each rider made sure their flying pokemon doubled their speed. Luckily, it took them no time to get to a large, vast open field where everyone gazed down to see nothing but beautiful dark pink flowers below.
"There!" Gunnar pointed, the large dragon looking down to where his master indicated. They were going down. elegantly, the flying beasts all landed in their own unique way, making sure the humans who had rode them were able to get off safely. Once Sammy's feet hit the ground, he went running towards the single house on the hill. "Sammy!?" Roxel cried, only seeing the little hedgehog jump from his friend's shoulders and rushed through the tall flowers instead. "Don't worry about him! That's his house.... S-SHAYMIN!" The younger legendary called, trying to find his old friend, the one who made it possible for him to even be alive.
As carefully as the group could, most rushed after the Shaymin while some (just Lucina really) headed after Sammy. "ACK!" It was Bonnie who found the Shaymin first, after gracefully tripping over him, his camo working perfectly. "There it is!" Namine announced, seeing the little ball of burning grass poke his head up for a moment. Carefully, her hands wrapped around the Shaymin, pulling him up and minding his wounds. "Min!" The smalller Shayminclimbed up her outfit and got on her own shoulder, the little nose wiggling to pick up the other's scent. "What happened!?"

"I believe I just nearly got trampled." The other Shaymin said sourly, giving a glare towards Bonnie. But, his younger friend - who he often regarding almost like his son - chastised him lightly. The elder frowned some, before explaining, "A man I've never seen before came here. He was crushing the flowers. I bravely stepped out and demanded he cease. He must of been frightened of my power and knew he could never win alone because he had two Pokemon gang up on me and surprise attacked me with a third." There was a light blush on the Shaymin's cheeks, not admitting it was his own pride that was his undoing.
Solemn gazes wandered around the field, the proof of the story all around them. Flowers trampled down, their petals strewn all around. Dark, black scars littering the field where electricity and other attacks had touched down. It would take time for the field to heal. "What Pokemon did he fight you with?" Kadaj asked, his eyes narrowing. "A Murkrow and two Electrike. One of the electrike's was oddly colored." "Arluin and Itzel...." Roxanne whispered. "Yes. Those were the names he called two of them." The Shaymin reported. "Kuku was already here." Tensai mourned. They just missed him?! They were too late. "Where is he now?" Kadaj asked, looking around. Surely he didn't escape too far. Maybe they could still catch him. "Now... hehe... Now he's getting the punishment he deserved! Giratina is going to show him no one messes with my flowers! And I'm going to go and help - ow!" Shaymin said starting to stand up, only to wince and tumble a bit. "Namine, is there anything you can do for him?" Sanyi asked in worry. "I'm fine!"

"Giratina? The dragon ghost?" Gunnar inquired, shocked that such a large creature that didn't even live in this world was even able to come to Shaymin's rescue so quickly. Was the little thing so sure? "Wow! Really? Giratina came? Awesome! He will surely show that meanie about hurting the flowers!" The younger shaymin jumped up and down on Namine's shoulder. "Aaah!! C-calm down... I can help shaymin, AND YOU DO need it, but not out here... it could still be dangrous." "Namine's right. Let's head to Sammy's house for now." Bonnie agreed and without delay - and some complaining from the older shaymin - they headed to the house on the hill.
To their surprise, the door was opened for them when they approached, seeing a large bird come to greet them. It was a Xatu and it's large white wing offered them inside. With a silent thanks, the large group headed inside, the Xatu closing the door behind them. The small house was dark and cool, even with the sun shining outside. The place smelt like herbs and spices, the teenagers seeing them all hanging around the walls and ceilings. It was kind of odd but they remembered that Sammy's mother was a psychic and herb maker, so they should have expected this. When they came to the den, they could see a woman, sitting down on a plush chair with brilliant orange hair, falling over his extremely pale skin as she looked up at the ranger and the blonde girl.
From her purple eyes, they could guess it was Sammy's mom. "Charnette, we need some help!" Everyone looked down at the small Shaymin that was now on the floor, walking carefully between everyone's feet. It was a name none of them had heard before but it caught the orange haired woman's attention. The woman stood and bowed softly towards the in coming group. She walked over to Namine who was still holding onto the stubborn Shaymin, offering her to set him down on a plush pillow that was close by.
"Hey..." Roxel whispered to Tensai, his eyes fixated on the woman. "How come she hasn't said anything?" Tensai replied that it was quite possible that Sammy's mom was mute too. "Weird...."
About a hour passed, the team lounging around the small den as both Namine and the woman, known as Charnette, worked their magic to get the burns to heal up slowly, at least making them hurt less and the older shaymin was able to get on his feet. Of course, Roxel and Roxy peered over their shoulder's every one in awhile, being rescuers, they too could have pitched in but they knew if there were too many people working on one pokemon that didn't need the extra help, less would get done. The women backed up a bit, giving the Shaymin some room. Their noses touched, checking each other to make sure they were alright.
"So how long does Giratina take to give someone a lesson?" Gunnar was the first to ask, looking at them with quite the bored expression. "Actually, what's more important is, do you happen to know where the Azure Flute is?" To their surprise, the Shaymin tensed, demanding why they wanted to know. "Well, we're trying to find it before Kuku does. He's planning on summoning Arceus and... ordering it to make every single pokemon disappear." They heard a voiceless gasp from the side of the room, seeing the sudden worried look play across Charnette's face.

"HE'S GOING TO ASK FOR WHAT?!" Shaymin stood from his pillow, looking vicious suddenly. Well, not really vicious because he was too cute for that - he was about as angry looking as a Skitty. But he did not look happy. "What is wrong with you humans, are you really all that stupid?!" "Hey!" Roxanne cried, looking hurt. But Shyaymin didn't look very forgiving - wasn't he the gratitude Pokemon?! Where was gratitude to them for saving him?!
"Honestly, every decade it's a new crisis. Without me you'd all be living in nothing but smog! Without any Pokemon there wouldn't be a world at all! And won't be if he succeeds!" Shaymin huffed but his words made them wince because he was completely correct. The elder grass-type sighed, "You'd think your race would of learned something about balance when young Lugia was taken. If it wasn't for your parents we'd all still be ten feet under water." This caught most of them off-guard. "Wait... what do you mean?" Sanyi asked. "How did you know we're related to-" "Aqua and Fuujin are your mothers. And Roxas and Axel watch the twins, Terra and Ven have the pirate chick and Sora and Riku take care of the dyslexic." Roxanne was giggling suddenly, remembering their youth. Tensai meanwhile was just blushing in mortification. "Of course I know that. Giratina and I've been watching over those friends of mine for years." Shaymin said, matter-of-factly, before adding fondly, "They are very good people." "You know where the flute is." Kadaj spoke plainly, getting them back on track. "Of course I know where it is. But there is nothing to worry about. It is not somewhere a mere human can get it, no matter what. It is protected and can only be taken from where it is by a Pokemon. That shall never happen." Shaymin looked confident.
"But it does happen Shaymin! I saw it happen!" Tensai was saying, suddenly forgetting about his embarrassment as it gave way to fear. "Darkrai... she showed me. I saw Kuku zummon Arceus... and then all the Pokemon were gone. The grave sites, these flowers... everything." "Is that so?" Shaymin asked, looking mistrustful. But who could blame him, considering he was just attacked and was just told his life and the life of everything he knew as in jeopardy. He smiled smugly. "If that's true, then tell me. What does the Azure Flute look like?" Tensai faltered some, but shut his eyes. He could see Kuku, wearing that mask, and raising the flute. "It's... not like a normal flute. It's actually... more of an ocarina with the holes jutting out like... like coral. It's purple and looks made of from seashell and the reed is red." When he opened his eyes, Shaymin no longer looked so sure.
In fact, he looked frightened. Dakrai didn't know what the flute looked like; the only way she could have shown such a thing to Tensai.... is if she predicted it. "....How can this be? How can anyone...But he would never give it anyone. He wouldn't betray us." He stood suddenly, pacing on his pillow and muttering to himself. "...Shaymin, where is it?" The green Pokemon froze and it took him a few moments to answer. When he did, his voice was barely a whisper in their minds, the answer sickening. "It's in the reverse world... with Giratina."

"With Giratina?" Namine questioned. How strange. Why would the ghost pokemon be holding onto something like that? Though, if one thought about it, the Reverse World was the perfect place for the flute to be held. Why? Because Giratina was the only being that lived there and if someone else got in, the dragon would surely know they were there. It would be easy for Giratina to banish them, returning whoever got in back to their world. Not even Palkia and Dialga were welcomed there but for some reason, Shaymin was. They were actually pretty close, mich like Celebi and Suicune.
Gunnar shook his head from his weird thoughts before standing. "That's not good then. If Giratina brought Kuku into the reverse world, that means somehow, he's going to get his hands on that flute if we don't stop him. This is how Darkrai saw it. So I guess the next question is: How do we get to the Reverse World?" The shaymin didn't look all too happy with the question but oddly enough, he wasn't the one who answered them. Instead, the group turned their heads to see Charnette walking to a wall that slightly blocked off the den. She pressed a small button and slowly pulled at the wall, revealing a very large mirror. The group watched in awe, seeing the reflective glass as it was drawn, their images making them nervous.
The smaller shaymin quickly turned, jumping up onto the bench then table, hurrying over to a freshly picked bouque of flowers. It's little nose widdled and much like the shaymin before, he began to glow, his figure changing instantly. "No way! A skymin!" Roxel cried happily. "Skymin?" Before the term could be explained, they all cried when the mirror changed, looking as if there was a whole other world behind it. They had no idea how right they were but there were about to find out when the flying type forme of Shaymin jumped onto Sammy's shoulder and both the ranger and his assistance jumped through the mirror.
Wide eyes blinked in disbelief, wondering if their eyes were playing tricks on them because of the wild spices in the air. They were suddenly snapped at though by the elder shaymin who was telling them all to go before the portal closed. With just a glance, the team looked at one another before one by one, they entered the portal carefully. Just as Gunnar passed through, the last of them all, the mirror closed up, leaving it looking like it once was, just a normal, oversized mirror.
"Oh man... I think I'm going to be sick..." Roxel shivered, his hand quickly wrapping around his mouth. The Reverse World was nothing like anything anyone had ever seen before. Up was down, left was right and reflections morphed from the top... or bottom, whichever you looked at it. They were all standing on a piece of land that was circular in shape but above them, it was connected to another and they were sure it was the same below. Before them, a crooked path led them to another platform which they couldn't identify just yet. "This is incredible...." Namine whispered, her big eyes looking around slowly.
They were all quite shocked and awed by their surrounding but it was a sudden screech that got them all jumping, snapping them out of their wonder. Again, Sammy was on the run, quickly heading down the rather unsafe looking bridge before them. "Come on! That was Giratina!"

"Sammy wait up!" Luci cried, hurrying after the other. He seemed to know where he was going, which was a good thing because for them it would have been so easy to get lost in this confusing, not-quite-right world. Their feet stomped on the ground as they chased after able to follow Sammy into a tunnel.
But even Lucina hesitated when Sammy followed the path and, denying all laws of physics because maybe rangers were really that awesome, he started to walk up along the wall and on top of the ceiling. "Wha... WHAT THE HELL?!" Roxanne was the one to cry and beside her, her brother looked even more sickened, his face even a little green. "IS HE WALKING UPSIDE DOWN?!" "This is scientifically impossible." Kadaj said lamely, because really, he couldn't be seeing this, right? "S-Sammy?!" Lucina called tentatively and maybe it was the little shake in her voice that made him pause and look back, seeing the others just standing their. He smiled to her, beckoning her forward, and on his shoulder little Shaymin called, "It's all right!" So Lucina, against her better judgement, started to hurry on the path. Even stranger, even was she turned upside down, her ponytail laid flat on her back. She turned back and grinned, "What are you scaredy Skittys waiting for?! Let's get going!" Not about to be undone by her rivals, Roxanne ran after, dragging Roxel behind her who looked positively freaked out. It was a strange sensation. It wasn't so bad even as they turned upside down. It didn't have the sickening feeling she expected it would. Another cry from Giratina got the rest of them moving and off they went again. "The gravity here doesn't seem quite right." Kadaj announced, noticing how at intervals he felt heavier and lighter, as if the air around them was creating pressure. So, at times, it was easy to run or even hop from place to place, but other times he felt like they were moving at a crawl, there legs heavy. He wondered if this was an indication something was wrong. "Is Giratina alright?" Shaymin however spoke up, saying this world was always like this. Roxel spoke up, saying he was glad he didn't live here. Kadaj grimaced, silently agreeing.

As they continued on, Bonnie had to wonder if Sammy had been here many times before. He certainly seemed to know where he was going and the world around him didn't seem to confuse him in the bit. Perhaps, it was Shaymin who got him use to it, remembering just how close the smallest legendary was to the dragon. No wonder Giratina was a ghost, no other natural pokemon could possibly live in shuch a place, let alone create it.
Even though the question was asked and the answer was obvious, even the young shaymin couldn't tell that someone was terribly wrong with Guratina until they reached another bridge, this one circling around in a loop, making everyone know that they were going to be walking upside down again. As they approached, the screeching of the beast was suddenly upon them and everyone looked up, witnessing the 22 foot long dragon hovering over them. If the pokemon wasn't frightening enough, it's eyes were an eerie glow of red. "Huh? Giratina, what's wroAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!" "NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!" Everyone covered their ears, hearing the dragon let out a piercing cry. Sanyi was even able to pull away from his fanboy moment to block his ears.
Something was wrong and if they could guess, Kuku was the reason. Without warning, the golden plates on the pokemon's face opened, revealing a mouth full of sharp teeth. It cried out again and within the gaping mouth, a powerful ball of energy started to form. "OH SHIT! DragonBreath!!!" Gunnar and Sanyi called together and everyone ran as quick as possible away from the bridge. Seconds later, the powerful attack was launched, destroying the bridge instantly. "FUCK!" "WHAT THE HELL!?" The teens took coverage in the tunnel, seeing the massive pokemon fly about, knowing they were hiding.
"I... I'm going to...." Roxel shivered and turned, finally upchucking whatever he shoved in his mouth that morning. Luckily, it didn't go flying about even if they found themselves upside down again. Namine watched as Tensai and Roxy went to rub the rock star's back before turning to Sammy, who was looking out of the tunnel every now and again, ducking back in when Giratina's red eyes peered inside. "What's going on? Is he always like this?" "What? No, no way! Maybe Shaymin should have come with us... it would have calmed Giratina down... maybe. I never saw him act like this, especially not around Sammy and I.""Do you think we scared him?" Gunnar asked, looking for some answers. "No... his eyes, his eyes are all wrong."
"Do you think Kuku could be doing this?" Bonnie frowned, keeping Roxanne as close as she could while the blonde was comforting her brother. "How? That's just----" The little reindeer paused, slowly looking at Sammy and their eyes met. Those who was it, watched them closely, like they were somehow communicating telepathically. They saw shaymin's head nod and then he turned back to the group. "You guys stay here, not matter what. We're going to try something." The legend ran around his master and jumped into the air, everyone marveling as they watched shaymin actually FLY. "NO MATTER WHAT!"
Purple eyes looked back, looking at Lucina in particular and the ranger smile, giving her a nod. He turned and to their surprise, jumped out of the tunnel just as Giratina flew by again, looking as if it was chasing after the shaymin. They watched as the blonde landed on the dragon's head, hearing the ghost cry and shake to get the boy off. With a tight grip, the boy held fast and pressed a button on his styler with his chin. Instantly, the capture disc shot out and started to circle around the large legendary. He was attempting to calm Giratina down though friendship!

Tensai never expected Giratina to be so frightening. In all the stories his parents told him of their short time in the Reverse World, they stated the dragon was a kind but somewhat lonely creature. That he truly cared about both his own world and the real world.
So why... why was he attacking them? Why did he look at them like they were out to hurt him - especially Shaymin! Something was definitely wrong.
"Sammy!" "What's he doing?!" Tensai asked, seeing everyone else crowded at the edge of the tunnel, looking out. Namine gave the report that he was using his styler. To capture a legendary? It was almost unheard of, needing the most amazing of skills. Just as she did, Giratina flew vertically up, passing right in front of their cave, so close they could see the red tip of his wings. Some of them cried, feeling the stirring wind of his passing. Gunnar reached out and held Luci steady, Sanyi doing the same for Namine while Kadaj inclined his head some outside of the cave, seeing the dragon spiraling up and up, the styler discus making it's second ring. He ducked back inside as the dragon suddenly dove down again.
"Do... Do you think it'll work?" Lucina asked tentatively, watching frightfully as Sammy held on for his life with one hand and moving the styler with the other, the disc made slow circles around the large creature. It was still blue, a good sign. Her answer came from the last person she expected. "If anyone can, he can." She took her eyes off of Sammy for just a moment, looking back in shock at Roxanne. Even Bonnie looked surprised and impressed. The blonde blinked and blushed. "W-What?!!" Luckily, no one could address the surprising bit of praise. "He's on the third ring!" Sanyi announced, cheering alongside with Namine. Just a little bit more... He was really going to do it!

"MIN, MIN, MIN, MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!!" The little reindeer cried, flying up and down, around, through and under as it tried to steer clear of the lazer attacks, trying to stay alive while distracting the creator and ruler of this world. Though the cature disc was still circling around him, it was slow and the amount of friendship Sammy was putting in it just didn't seem like it was enough. Would he have to make more rings? He had never seen a pokemon act like this, and even though it was a legend, he could tell that this aggrivation was unnatural. Still, the boy kept a tight hold of the dragon's golden crest, gritting his teeth when the tug of wild gravity made his hair blow around him.
He could feel Giratina pull up again, straightening out of the first time since he jumped on. Purple eyes looked about, his tired arm still swinging in the motion to keep the disc circling. Large ghostly streamer like wings flared out and the ranger could feel the energy being pulled around him. Giratina was getting ready for an attack! Afraid for his friend, he was going to look to make sure Shaymin was in the clear but he knew if he did, the would lose concentration and would have to start back from the beginning, knowing the connection would be lost.
However, it wasn't up to Sammy anymore because just as the power felt like it would crush him, he felt light. Light as a feather and cold from the breeze around him, feeling the ghost move away without him.
WITHOUT HIM!?
Sammy's purple eyes widened, looking down to see that the dragon had disappeared right from under him! Soundlessly, the ranger scream, falling fast, down towards the shimmering world below. Was it water? Or was it something devilish, only bringing a poor soul to another dimention? Sammy was sure to find out, feeling the pressure his body was taking from the fast and steady fall. "SAMMY!" Shaymin cried in fear, seeing his friend and partner falling to his... uncertainty! What it didn't see was the invisable attack, known as Shadow Force that only Giratina knew.
"MIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIN!!" The poor pokemon cried as the ground next to him was crushed by a powerful, swinging tail. The earth shattered around him, only kicking up rocks and debris, making the little pokemon fall as well, getting hit hard in the back with a stray boulder.

"What's he doing?" One of the teens asked. The cries echoing in the tunnel faded away to confusion - and then Luci screamed in horror for she was the first to figure it out as Sammy seemed to literally fly through Giratina's body that was suddenly see-through. Ghost could phase through any type of matter - even humans.
"SAMMY!!!" More than one of them yelled, but watched helplessly as the blonde started to fall - and in moments Shaymin was falling right after him. Even as Gunnar called for Salvador, his Salamence, and ordered him to fly after the other, it was hopeless and it was sickening feeling they all realized as they saw the dragon flying downwards towards the two, not fast enough to reach them in time.......
Lucina covered her watering eyes as she saw Sammy falling towards the blank shimmering surface below not willing to see it turn red. She flinched as everyone around her gasped. "W-What?" "How... what happened?!"
She dared peek through her fingers, feeling confused - those weren't the kind of calls she expected to hear about someone dying. She looked around, see aghast, surprised and even relieved looks around her before she grew her courage and looked over the edge.
Sammy and Shaymin were still falling.
Except....... they weren't.
It was as if they were frozen in time, the two of them not moving an inch. They were covered in a sea-green colored glow, as if it were holding them in place. But... But how? "... Kadaj!" It was Tensai call that made her look over, seeing the silverette standing at the edge of the tunnel, his hand reaching out, fingers curled somewhat. His teeth were grit, his face a mask of effort and concentration, and his eyes were glowing brightly. Lucina's jaw dropped some, looking between the silverette and the frozen two. Even back at the hotel she hadn't been convinced but this...
A piercing roar made them all flinch as Giratina rematerialized, his eyes focusing on his prey. But, worst of all, it made Kadaj flinch too, the two flailing as they fell another few feet before he managed to regain his focus. The silverette ground his teeth, hissing out, "I... can't move them... from there..." It took a moment for that to process before Lucina finally snapped out of her pure fright and started yelling orders. She was NOT going to lose Sammy. "We need to steer Giratina away from them! Gunnar order Sal to attack! Sanyi, once it's clear get Draco down there to get them!" The brunette only nodded wordlessly before yelling out an order. the dragon changed pace from his dive into the offensive as he flew for the other dragon-type. As a fight ensued, Salemence dodging and diving and leading the other away, a third was called. He hardly needed to be told what to do, soaring like a jet from the tunnel and down towards the abyss of the reverse world. Sanyi would of gone with him, but didn't want to jeopardize his speed. Every second counted.
As Draco got to Shaymin, who was much closer, the glow around the creature faded and the dragon caught the tiny legend easily before diving again.
Just a little longer... a little longer... Kadaj's mind was spinning as a vicious headache started to pound in his temples. He bit his lip hard enough to make it bleed, the sharp pain keeping him from slipping into unconsciousness. He'd never held onto another object with just his mind for this long. Let alone under these conditions with a life on the line and the sounds of the battle all around him threatening to pull him away from his task. It was taking everything he had just to keep them in place - moving them was out of the question. Just when he thought he couldn't hold on any longer he saw the orange blur under Sammy, he let go in relief, his arm falling as another rose to cover his eyes not even seeing if the boy was caught because his vision was blurring. His body started to sway from side to side. "Spina!" He heard the worried chittering in his ear and if it wasn't for the strong hands that suddenly reached out and steadied him, he was sure he would of ended up a rather ungraceful heap on the floor. He followed their guide, slowly sitting down on the rocky ground, his limbs shivering as if the effort to hold the boy had been physical rather than mental. "Are they alright...?" He mumbled, not quite ready to open his eyes and risk being sick like Roxel if the world started to spin like his mind was at the moment.

"Kadaj!" Gunnar cried, seeing the silverette's legs buckle and just as he was about to collapse, the boy's strong arms wrapped around the smaller frame, catching him before he fell. He could feel how limp the muscles were in his arm, carefully dragging the silverette to a wall and leaning him against it. The brunette crouched down, coming face to face with the other and frowned as he heard the question. Gunnar looked up at Bonnie, who heard the question as well and gave a nod to confirm. "Yea, they're fine." Gunnar delivered the message but he was still worried. The ranger and the pokemon were still in danger as long as Giratina was upset.
What worried him most was that there was no sign of Kuku anywhere.
"WHOOOA!!!" The little shaymin called as the orange dragon swooped up, bringing him and Sammy back into the game. The ranger held onto the dragon a little tighter than needed but after almost falling to his death, he was a little unnerved. he needed to get his bearings back though, knowing that there was only one way to get Giratina back to itself and to bring that Salamence out of harms way. "Fly up higher!" the legendary ordered, actually through the commands of his friend. Draco did just that, zipping up above the battle between the two dragons. Even without Gunnar's orders, Sal was doing rather well, keeping Giratina distracted. He just couldn't do it forever though.
Pale fingers reached into a small red pouch attached to his hip, the ranger pulling out another capture disc since his last could not be saved. Pushing it into the little slot, the disc glowed and spun, charging up and being installed into the styler. Without a minute to spare, Sammy pressed the small button and once more, the capture disc shot out, encircling the ghost. This wasn't going to be easy now that there was an active battle going on. Sure enough, Sammy was only able to get a half circle around the inraged pokemon before the line turned red and snapped, the disc and their friendly link snapping, breaking into pieces when hit with a powerful blast.
"YOU CAN DO IT SAMMY!" Namine cheered, not seeing the look on Sanyi's face. To macth her praise though, he cheered on Draco instead. Teetch cleched, Sammy not minding his hair whipping around his face when another disc was taken out of storage and applied, hearing it charge and when it beeped, he shot it out towards the dragon again. "We're going to have to circle Giratina to keep the line from breaking!" Draco seemed to undetrsnad because he was zipping towards the fight, staying close to Giratina's rear. He rose and fell quickly, escaping Giratina's mighty tail when it flung to knock them off course but with much concentration, Sammy was able to keep the line going, rays of blue hitting the dragon, trying to calm his spirit.
From below, as Roxel had to sit down too, he listened to the battle and cries of the little shaymin, giving the orders for his master. His eyes ventured up, looking at the second closest person, being Lucina. She was frozen, her big eyes staring out at the scene just outside. She seemed impressed, swooned and captivated. He totally could tell she had a thing for Sammy. "Hey Luci...?" He caught her off guard, making her look back at him. "You said you weren't sure what you wanted to do right? I mean, for a carreer? Maybe... maybe you should be a Ranger too."
She almost missed it, becoming developed in her though, but luckily, Bonnie called when she saw the massive pokemon start to glow, a bubble wrapping around it made of light. Everyone stared and watched, having seen Sammy successfully encircle the dragon ghost not three times but eight. There was a glimmer and the light faded, Giratina pulling back and flying up high, making everyone crank their necks to watch. It was silent, even Sal flew back to them as if he knew the fight was done. "Great job." Gunnar smiled, calling his friend back just as Giratina corkscrewed down, meeting the orange dragon below.
A moarnful cry escaped the ghost's mouth, as if appologising for what he did. "Oh Giratina... are you alright?"

"He did it!" Tensai whooped with Roxel. He'd seen Sammy in action before, but this was... it was amazing! It was no wonder Rangers got so much attention in the news. They really had to have heart and determination to do what they did.
"Took him long enough!" Roxanne said, but was smiling as well. She definitely had a new-found respect for the other. Risking his life for Pokemon... that was something that took real guts.
"Hey, give some points to Draco! He did all the hard work!" Sanyi added but their was immense cheer in the group. Maybe Darkrai was right... when they worked together, they made a great team.
Lucina was looking up smiling, a blush dotting her cheeks as she watched the man of her dreams. You really are... amazing... "Maybe you should be a Ranger too." Her thoughts made her hesitate, her look a little more uncertain. Could I be that amazing too?
Away from them, Gunnar was delivering the good news, but, even with his head laying on his knees and his expression hidden, the Almasy could tell the silverette was amused as he responded, "Well, that's a little hard to miss. Roxel's yelling so loud I'm afraid of a cave-in." The laugh that escaped the other sent a pleasant tingle down Kadaj's spine and he was glad the other couldn't see his sudden blush.
"Draaaaagon!" Came a relieved, melodious cry, the Dragonite's yellow antennae falling some in exhaustion. He had been flying around all day constantly, and now this? His wings ached. Salamence was similarly affected but luckily recalled. Dragons might have a lot of energy, but even they had their limits. Though the cries of cheer from his trainer down below did boost his pride some. Slowly the tunnel below fell more quiet, as Giratina and Shaymin began to converse. Though he was tired, his antennae rose in alarm at what the legendary had to say.
