"Hmm, well... let's see. I have Sal, who can hold quite a few people. So... I can ride with Kadaj, my sis and... Sammy." Gunnar grinned. "Namine has Totem so maybe Bonnie and Roxy can ride him. Then there's Draco which I'm sure Sanyi would have no problem giving Namine a ride. That only leaves... Tensai and Roxel. So sammy would only have to capture one staraptor." "You really want Kadaj riding with you?" Roxel's eyebrow rose, only getting a glare back in return. "Hey... I gottaface my fears of spinaraks, right?"
Everyone agreed with Gunnar, even if Roxy was a little worried about riding Totem. It would be a tight squeeze but it might be nice being that close to her girlfriend. Sammy stood, backing away with some sweat running down his face. He never had to capture with so many people watching! But he was a top ranger, right? He took a deep breath and turned, looking up to see that there was indeed a giant staraptor in the sky now. He gave hiself a nod, suddenly feeling a small pressure on his leg. Purple eyes glanced down, only to smile at the shaymin smiling up at him. "Alright, Capture on!"
The boy pointed his fist towards the bird and pressed a single button and the capture disc shot up in the air. It suddenly glowed and a glowing bar appeared from the styler. As the disc got close to the bird, it was then that the two girls became complete cheerleaders as Sammy pulled off some sweet moves, twisting his body about to have the disc circle around the bird, releasing the feeling of friendship. Suddenly, the bird glowed brightly and Sammy whipped his arm back. "Capture complete!" The disc floated back down, going back into the fine styler and clicked closed just as the large staraptor flew towards the group and landed before them.
"SO................AWESOME!!!"
"Wow... my dads never made it look that graceful..." Roxel blinked, a large sweatdrop running down the back of his head.

"That's because daddy Roxas only ever capture styled one Pokemon. And daddy Axel... is never graceful." Roxanne said, crossing her arms. She hesitated. Music was filling the house. Roxanne walked into the house, carrying some chewed through toys intended for the trash, and paused. She spotted her brother in the living room, a proud conductor of his team of Pokemon, looking eager as he guided the song. But that wasn't what caught her attention. What her eyes were glued on was her fathers, watching as Axel swept Roxas through the small space of the room, twirling them both around Pokemon and furniture alike. She watched in silence, feeling almost like she was spying in on a private moment, as her taller father suddenly dipped Roxas, the two stealing a kiss when they thought no one was watching.
"Unless he's dancing." She amended, her cheeks flushing a little bit. She wonder if she and Bonnie could ever look so... amazing together.
Tensai, meanwhile was grinning. "That was awesome!" He hopped excitedly over to the Staraptor. Despite this creature's natural intimidation, he didn't seem afraid at all; of course, why would he? His father used to own one as well.
While Lucina and Namine were cooing over Sammy and Sanyi was cleaning up the table agitatedly, Kadaj walked up behind Gunnar, grinning secretively. "Gonna face your fear of spiders huh?" He almost laughed the way Gunnar tensed up, "Why not start now?" His grin grew as Gunnar turned his head to look at him, Kadaj smiling widely as he held up his hands, Loz sitting in his palms. "Say Hi~" "Spina!" A smile could be seen on Spinkarak's body.

"G-GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!!" Gunnar yelled, turning away and rushing off, calling sal in a hurry. Yea, that was a total lie.
When the group settled down and remembered that they had a very important mission. Every second they wasted, Kuku could find the flute. They got their luggage packed up, the wild staraptor not minding the extra weight. Gunnar reluctantly reached his hand out, helping kadaj up onto the dragon along with Sammy and Lucina, who was thrilled that Sammy's arms would be wrapped around her waist for hours. Sanyi too was happy that he would be able to get away from the blonde, dazzling ranger and have some time with his nurse. Bonnie and Roxy snuggled up on the warm pokemon while Roxel and Tensai got comfy on the bird.
Then, they were off, up into the sky and through the clouds.
"Aaawww~" Namine pointed as Draco passed a small group of Drifloons, seeing just how cute these ghost pokemon were. Roxanne was excited, seeing two Skarmory battleing though the sky for a piece of Magikarp. Down below as they flew over the large mountain, they could see Nosepass, Gravlers and Meditite. Kadaj became quite queit when he laid eyes upon a floating Bronzor. How much would his brother love him if he were to catch another. He knew it would never be the same though. They flew over Floaroma Town, where they first met Namine, seeing how colorful all the flowers were even in the sunset. Namine found it romantic, and to sanyi's liking snuggled up against his back.
They flew over some water, knowing just where they were headed next. Kanto. When the land came into view, it was the first time some of the members of their group saw Kanto, like Kadaj and even Namine. As they got closer, it was Tensai who called out first. "LOOK! LAVENDER TOWN! LET'S STOP THERE FOR THE NIGHT!" "WHAT!? NO WAY! THAT'S GHOST CITY!" Namine cried. "TENSAI'S GRANDMA LIVES THERE!" Roxel explained. "Sabrina's gym is just a town away..." Gunnar whispered, making Kadaj's eyes widened.

Grass stirred under a sudden circulation of wind. Ten pairs of shoes touched down, and after Pokemon were recalled or let go, the shortest male happily led the way saying something about Cinnamon cookies. But one of them wasn't even listening to the talk around him as he trailed behind them all. Instead he was gazing around, as if every road suddenly held great importance. It wasn't until he felt a tug on his sleeve that he stopped this near-obsessive behavior. Silently, Gunnar just pointed to one street that seemed to go on and on before disappearing in the forest. That was the way.
He stopped walking, causing Gunnar to stop just a few steps ahead of him. The look in his eyes gave away how desperately he wanted to go. To learn about himself, to know how these powers really worked, to... to not feel so alone... "It has to be all ten of us." But in the end he sighed, stuffing his hands in his pockets and wordlessly following the others again. It would have to wait.
"W-W-What's with all the mist?" Tensai looked back, seeing Namine clinging onto Sanyi like he was a lifeline. He looked around and it was true that a faint purple-colored mist was starting to form and hang around the town though it didn't really obscure one's vision. "Ah, it's always like this here. It;s how Lavender Town got it's name." He said. He grinned devilishly. "No one really knows what causes it which makes this place so mysterious, but most say this is when the ghosts are out and about~" He heard a loud 'EEP' and the nurse-to-be held onto Sanyi even tighter, making hearts seem to dance around the male's head. You're welcome cuz~ Tensai thought proudly, but his eyes shimmered happily when he spotted the house he was looking for. Quaint and cute, the small abode stood out from the others now more than ever. It had a fresh coat of paint - courtesy of her son, son-in-law, and grandson who had repainted it just last summer. The lawn was well-tended and pretty flowers were growing in planters and pots. The smell was familiar, and Tensai couldn't help his excitement as he hopped up to the front door and rang the doorbell, the others clustering in a huge group behind him.

Bonnie frowned, looking around the area and keeping close to Roxy. She heard that her father got Haunter here, which was no surprise. She was still wondering where the ghost vanished to after he scared Gardenia... to death. Gunnar glanced over at his sister, seeing her arm and arm with the ranger and rolled his eyes, following Tensai towards a house where some lights were coming from. It was strange, seeing such a nice looking place in such an eerie location. It must have taken a strong heart to live in the capital of ghost pokemon locations.
The teens all waited there for some time after Tensai rang the bed, some shifting their weight back and forth, wondering if anyone was going to answer the door. The sun set eye boy rang the bell again and they heard from within a small cry. It sounded like a pokemon. "Maybe---" Roxel started, wondering if maybe his great aunt went to bed but he was pretty close when the door finally opened, revealing an elder woman in her nightgown. At her feet was a Persian, making the girls all coo softly at her when she came out and let everyone pet her. "Oh my, Zapdos! Tensai! Roxel, Roxanne! Bonnie! Sanyi! Ah, what a surprise.' The old woman smiled, a youthful look coming over her aging face.
"I wasn't expecting you so soon. I heard you were all doing your traveling in Sinnoh first." She continued but slowly got out of the way, allowing the large group to come in. The house was quant and tidy, perfect for an old lady. "When the bell first rang, I figured it was just a ghost playing pranks. Tulip always helps telling me if it's a ghost or not by the second ring." She smiled, closing the door and locking it. Even if this was a peaceful area, one could never be too safe from Teams. She knew about Darkrai and how those Rocket members wanted to steal her, so her house was a good target if they ever wanted to come back.
It was Tensai who noticed something was wrong when Carina, Riku's mother, walked to the couch, seeing that her back was hunched and she was shuffling. She was losing her strength... "I appologize for not offering to make you anything but you must understand that my weak bones hit a certain time of day when they just won't work right again. Please welcome yourself to the kitchen and make what you'd like." She smiled warmly at them, making Roxel and Tensai glance at each other. Maybe... Riku and Sora really had to think about moving her to a retirement home too. Though she seemed like she was keeping up with the house, it could be sucking away her energy, just like the ghosts did all around the town.
"OH MY!" She suddenly laughed, petting the cat pokemon as she came up onto the couch. "I didn't introduce myself. I'm Carina, Tensai's grandmother. Proud grandmother at that. I no longer use my upstairs so you are welcome to sleep here for the night. There are three bedrooms all set up." "Ah, where do you sleep, auntie?" "Right here..." The old woman patted the couch, making some of the teens frown. Poor thing...
"We'll just stay for the night. Thank you for allowing us to use your home for shelter. We'll be leaving in the early morning." Gunnar explained, Bonnie grinning behind him, still finding it amazing at how much of a gentleman he could be.

"Thanks Nana, we really appreciate it. We promise we'll be quiet too." Tensai added, worried for his poor grandmother. He suddenly felt a bit bad for this suggestion; like he was mooching off of her. And not just for himself but for nine other people! "And I'll return the favor. You did say you wanted to see the kitchen cabinets redone right?" In her good-natured way, she laughed it off, saying it was no trouble at all, but Tensai insisted on it. He had gained all of Riku's stubbornness and all of Sora's courteousness. It was an interesting mixture. So rather then pushing the subject, she deterred him, asking him to introduce her now.
"O-Oh!" He blushed. "Of course! This is Gunnar," He nodded to the first who had spoken, "And his sister Lucina. They're helping me train. And this is Namine; she's training to be a Nurse Joy. And Kadaj... who is ummm..." "Traveling." The other spoke with a shrug. "Right! And then Sammy, who is a Ranger." He hesitated for a moment, worried the news might be a little much for his grandmother - but since he was sitting on his shoulder anyways... "And his partner is Shaymin."

The old woman, who had short silver hair, and to those that didn't know her probably thought it was age that brought it to that color, unknowing that her hair was once as shiny and silver as Kadaj's. It was her natural color. Silver hair was rare anymore, more so than every before. It wasn't a dominant gene but for some strange reason, though Riku's father's hair was pitch black, a dominant gene, Riku was still born with the hair of 'light' as they called it.
She smiled as she met each new face, studying them closely to remember and nodding to show she got them. It was nice that two strangers had agreed to help Tensai train. He was a great trainer but help was never a bad thing. She smiled brightly at Namine, hearing just exactly what she wanted to be. How wonderful. A youth such as her dedicating her time to pokemon in need. As for Kadaj, he reminder her so much of her young Riku, or should she say Gethin? Even his mysterious glowing eyes resembled his. It actually made her quite sad, missing her son all of a sudden.
I was Sammy who drew her attention away, seeing that he too had oddly colored eyes but it was the pokemon on his shoulder that made her blink and sit up on the couch. "Oh! A Shaymin? I've never seen one before..." Carefully, the blonde pulled the green legendary from his shoulder and handed him to her, the woman taking the little creature gently before petting it's fur. "Aren't you wonderful! Look at these beautiful Gracidea flowers..." "They aren't really Gracidea flowers, they're just suppose to look like them!" The poor little creature went flying when he spoke, scaring Carnina half to death! "Oh! You can talk too!? How interesting..."
Just like Darkrai...
With all this unexpected excitement, the teenagers knew that the woman was becoming exhausted. They all agreed that it would be a good time to retire. "Before you head off to sleep, I just wanted to inform you of something." Carina explained, making the large group stop by the stairs. "The Pokemon Tower was taken down many years ago... so if you're worried about ghost awakening you, you have nothing to fear so don't use up all your spell tags if you have some." "What happened to all the ghosts?" Namine asked, feeling a lot better and wished that SOMEONE could have told her earlier so she didn't keep looking at every corner of the rooms she passed. "They're still around but unlike before, a man came when they were moved to a new location called the House of Memories and calmed many souls. Their graves are better taken care of now and instead of it just being a graveyard, it has become a memorial. Please, before you leave tomorrow, take a quick stop and leave some prayers for them?"
Though the teens felt like they were 'mooching' off Tensai's Nana, they made sure they kept her wish and planned on visiting the House of Memories early tomorrow morning. With that promise, they headed into the available rooms for the night. Tensai and Roxel stayed in Carina's room, Bonnie, Roxy, Sanyi and Namine stayed in Riku's old room and Gunnar, Lucina, Kadaj and Sammy took the spare room. It was nice having some heat that they didn't have to make themselves or to keep fueling at strange hours of the night. Even with the big adventure before them, they all found sleep rather easily.
All except one.
"Sanyi? Sanyi?" Namine nudged the bluette who was fast asleep, stopping every now and again to look around the room, making sure there were no ghost. Even if the ghost were rested, Carina said there wasn't as many. They were still around though! Every time she felt cold, she KNEW there had to be a ghost in the room. She snuggled up to the dragon loving boy so much that she was practically laying on top of him.

Loud snoring echoed from Carina's room - probably the reason Roxel and Tensai got the room to themselves. It appeared Tensai was the only one who could sleep easily beside the red-head. Strewn about where bowls that had once held some soup and some chips. In another room, the bed wasn't big enough for more than one person - so it had been given to Lucina since she had to 'put up with' sleeping in the same room as three guys. Nestled under her arm was a little green and white Pokemon. The poor boys, meanwhile, were strewn on the floor, but were so exhausted, didn't really care as they slept. And in Riku's old room, which still had some posters up and little glow-in-the-dark stars stuck to the ceiling from his youth, the rest were. Despite the bed's small size, Bonnie and Roxanne both managed to fit on it, snuggled close as they slept. On the night stand nearby, sat a small container that was made of two circles connected together. On the lids one said R the other sat L. Encased around them was a delicate pair of glasses.
And on the floor... "Mmm...hmm...?" The boy finally stirred, feeling something warm pressed up against him, and opened his eyes. He jerked back a little when he saw a blur of Namine in his face. "U-Uh Miss Namine!?" "Sssssh!!" She hissed and covered his mouth, looking around. "Whaz a mahher?" He asked, his voice garbled and muffled. But somehow she understood, whispering about how their were ghosts in the room. "Mo mer mot." He said. This time, she didn't quite grasp what he said as much and she took her hands away finally. He yawned some but smiled to her. "You know, I've known a lot of ghost Pokemon; most of them are harmless. Or in Haunter's case... annoying. Why are scared of them? You do know helping ghost Pokemon will be part of your job too..."

"A-aah...." Namine pouted, not realizing that his words were true. No, wait! That couldn't be right! She shook her head and frowned, glaring down at him. "Don't say stuff like that!" She hissed, trying to be as silent as possible. "You know you can't physically touch ghost pokemon so it's impossible to help them. If a ghost is weakened then the trainer just puts it in a pokeball." She nodded, trying to sound smart because she knew it was true... or so she thought. Sanyi then asked her what if the pokemon is like Kadaj's spinarak? What if the ghost didn't have a pokeball? Namine pouted, trying to think of a good excuse but she couldn't come up with one except... "Well then... there will be a rule in my Pokecenter that I will not service Ghost pokemon unless they are in a pokeball!"
She nodded, determined that was the best way to handle it but when she looked down at Sanyi, he gave her a look, making her rethink what she just said. Nurse Joy were suppose to take care of ANY pokemon wounded and hurt. ANY. "Well... there was a nurse Joy who was afraid of Water-types... and I guess just because they scare me, doesn't mean I should turn down their health..." She sighed, laying down on his chest. "I guess I'll just have to take care of those big scary pokemon all by myself..."
It was rather interesting that even though Roxel was the adopted son of a snorer, he gain the exact trait from his father Axel. Luckily, more people could deal with Axel's snoring, or maybe better yet, were forced to get use to it including Aqua who shared her bedding with him a few times. Even his and Roxas's pokemon had to get use to the sawing of trees every night. After awhile, you just don't hear it anymore. Everyone else does instead.
But there was one thing that always woke Axel and Roxel from their deep sleep. The cry of a pokemon in need. "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!" "GAH!" Both of the retired rescuers sat up immediately from a noise, a cold sweat glazing both of their bodies as they looked around the room. "Sol!" They both looked over at the door, seeing a smaller Absol, Zan, looking back at them in worry before they heard a huge racket coming from the care center.
Instantly, both males jumped out of bed, making some of their personal pokemon go airborne. Axel grabbed his glasses, quickly pushing them up his nose and ran after Roxas who was already gone with Zan. He met them in front a window after running through the living room, passed the bathroom and finally through a long hallway that connected their house to the care center. As he thought, it was the room where the Zorua and mother were being kept. What he saw as he walked up was the mother with an empty food bowl, tapping it against the window. "Jeez! Another bowl down. She's been eating like crazy lately..." Axel frowned, crossing his arms to think. She seemed to be healthy, her skin healing well and her fur nice and soft.

"Now, now who said you'd be alone?" Sanyi said, grinning widely. "You know I'm gonna be the best dragon tamer that ever lived~ I'll be able to travel across the world in seconds. So, whenever you need to take care of one of those big bad ghosts, just give me a call. And I'll be there in an instant." Of course, that wasn't actually plausible or possible - but at least his heart was in the right place, right?
There was a slow sigh, Roxas' racing heart slowly calming and he smiled, glancing at Axel. "Well, now that she's back to almost top health maybe this is her normal appetite. We still don't know a lot about them after all. We should try the Blue type pokebloks. It's more filling." He walked over to the door, punching in the code. The mother was already there, shoving the bowl into his hands impatiently. He smiled to her before taking it away to the nearby storage closet where they had the Pokefood stored while Zan went up to greet her.
Unbeknown to either rescuer, a certain someone else was awoken by all the commotion. A fluffy tail twitched as she snuck around or even under the legs of the two dark-types and into the room. Green eyes glimmered with excitement as a tiny fox caught site of her before he jumped off his bed and hid behind it.
But oh, he wasn't getting away THAT easily. Her tail swished and she approached the bed, long red ears twitched before she arched her back, getting ready... And... "FLAR!" She called pouncing onto the other side of the bed. "...Eon!?" She landed and looked around in confusion when she didn't find Zorua there. She didn't notice the teal eyes watched her from under the bed before it was too late. "GOT YOU!" Came a call the fox jumping from his hiding spot and onto the red fox, pinning her to the floor. "Eon!!"

Namine's eyes slowly turned dreamy, just imagining Sanyi in a grand, royal looking outfit like Lance, flying through the sky just to rescue her from having to pull a splinter out of a Gastly's tongue. How romantic was that!? A sweet smile spread over her lips as she looked down him, giggly softly. "You'd really do that for me?" She asked, reaching up and running her fingers through his hair. This put a cute blush on the the boy's face but it was what she did next that practically made him faint. She pulled her face closer and with a soft touch, their lips pressed together.
The kiss sounded when she pulled away, the to be nurse giving him the same sweet smile that she had before. "You're my hero, Sanyi~"
Zan walked over to the larger, more fierce looking pokemon, without much fear and pushed his nose against hers. She didn't react to it, only sitting down, her ears pulled back to hear the commotion behind her. What she didn't realize was the pair of green eyes that looked much like hers, just studying her and the situation. He worked with pokemon all his life and was pretty good with any pokemon, except for Dark types... but how different could they be?
"ARK!" Suddenly the mother snapped her head around and barked at the two playing. Axel had figured that the mother wasn't friendly with Flareon one bit, though Zorua enjoyed her playfulness. At first, the rescuers were afraid that having him play too much would use up his energy but if he was willing to play tag in the middle of the night, that was a good sign. "Sool... Ab, absol!" Zan barked back, making the mother growl but allowed her child and Flareon to continue their game while she was getting her food.
"Ah, Roxas. I think I have a better idea." Axel finally grinned, a smug look upon his face. "I don't think she is a hungry pokemon by the look of her waist. There are no bones showing and her stature looks pretty balanced. I think she is quite healthy." He informed before suddenly grabbing Zan's scythe. "SOL?" "I think we should run a pregnancy test instead before we feed her. Her diet might just have to change~"

There was such shock on Roxas' face he almost dropped the bowl. A WHAT TEST?!?!
"O-Of course Miss Namine. I'll always be there for you." Oh man, if this was actually a dream, he hoped he slept forever!
Wind blew hard as winged Pokemon soared through the sky, leaving behind Kanto. A little voice in Sammy's general direction called they were only about a half-hour away now. There was mostly silence between the crew some of them still thinking back about Lavender Town. "What's that Ten?" Xel was mumbling sleepily, trying to pull on his clothes. But he wasn't very successful since half of his body was laying on the bed and his pants were only halfway up his thighs. When Gunnar said early morning, he had meant it. The sun wasn't even really up yet! "It's my parents fight from the silver conference." The other said, looking around as if he knew he was doing something bad as he placed the black tape in the slot, lowering the volume on the TV. "Grandma taped it. I've always wanted to see it." "But... Gunnar said we're leaving in... like... now..." A loud yawn. "It'll just take a minute." The boy reassured as he pressed play. But, what played instead, was something he didn't expect. And it woke Roxel up instantly. "....Dad?" 'What the hell is going on?!' Came a voice on the screen- the camera focusing on the site of eight people in a cage. Eight very familiar people. There was some talking, the sounds of rhyming from a pink and red haired duo almost instantly annoying but it wasn't as terrifying... as when they drew swords. Tensai hit the stop button, his face paling. What was that? But, suddenly Roxel was there, hitting the rewind button. "Xel, what are you doing?" "This is it!" "What is?" "This is the battle our dads had when they were rescuing baby Lugia." Tensai paled more. That didn't look like a battle - it looked like they were about to get slaughtered! Maybe... his daddy Sora had been lying about where those scars came from... "What are you guys doing?" Came an agitated voice, and they looked up, seeing an irritable Gunnar standing in the doorway. "You're not even dressed." He said, looking at Roxel pointedly. "Forget that! You're going to see how kick-ass my dad is!" The boy said, shaking his butt in excitement. Before stopping and playing it, only to see they were in the midst of a battle on the water field. He pouted and stopped it before rewinding it again. "Ten-chan, go get my sis!" He remembered going to go find her, only to hear a conversation going on in the open door of the bathroom. "I can't believe you wear colored contacts." "Yeah, so?" "Well... why would you do that." There was no answer, but Tensai say Roxanne shrugging to her reflection as she put in her second contact, hiding brown behind green and blinking rapidly as she got used to hide. "I like the color." Lucina, who was tying up her hair, looking about to argue but luckily this is where Tensai jumped in. "Morning guys." He chirped, before looking at his cousin, "Hey, Roxel wants you to come see err... something." "Something?" The girl looked in no hurry - until Tensai announced exactly what it was. "Yeah um... we think we found the footage to when our parents saved Lugia." Now that got her attention. "Really?!" When Tensai nodded she was out the door in a second, going - not to Carina's room - but to fetch Bonnie and Sanyi. "What do you mean the footage?" Lucina asked in confusion. "Well..." Tensai hesitated, before explaining "According to our parents, when they got to Sootopolis they had challenged the two who had taken baby Lugia to a some Pokemon battles and it was recorded live across the world. But they never let us... see the fights. We've always wanted to." One thing led to another, and before they knew it his grandmother's room was crowded. Roxel was laying on his stomach, Melody on his back, so close to the TV he was sure to get renal damage. Tensai sat, crossed-legged, beside him, not minding how Charlie perched on his shoulder long tail wrapped around his neck. And around them, in various places, sat everyone else. The only one who didn't seem very excited or even just curious, was Sammy and little Shaymin. Because, much to the cousins chagrin, they had already gotten the chance to see it! "You might not like what you see..." Was all Shaymin warned, but nothing would stop them now. "Alright everyone ready?" Roxel was grinning as he reached over and pressed play...
Shaymin had been right. Tensai looked out across the sky-filled world without really seeing it. He knew people could be evil... but that evil? How could anyone want to force their Pokemon to battle to the death? To not care if they drown or break a limb? Scizorr and Kali... what they must have gone through with them... And, warring with his disgust at the two former Rockets, was also his admiration for his fathers. His daddy Sora, who spoke with such confidence and Jolteon who bravely fought two single-handedly for nearly half of the fight. He never knew the yellow fox had it in him. His daddy Riku, who battled despite his own distress. Could he ever hope to be that resilient?
"You know, I feel really bad for always pulling her tail now..." Roxanne was saying, more to herself as she thought of her own father's fight. But more so she thought of her dad's late Glameow. She was so strong despite the type disadvantage... She wished she had given her the respect she had deserved in her years of life.
Fingers graped onto Draco's neck a little tighter, Sanyi trying to think of anything else besides the cracking snap of a Crobat's wing and the dark, blackness of poison that spread over the liquid surface of the battle field. The water... dear god the water...
None of them knew their own horrors awaited them.
Wind blew gently, stirring the scent of of the delicate pink blossoms along the field almost hypnotically. Hidden among the long stems and under the brilliant color, was a small green Pokemon. He was curled up in a little ball, basking in the sunlight streaking through as he slept peacefully. Winter was fast approaching, but days like these would not disappear. The weather was almost nearly always tropical - such perfect weather for this small side of the world. So perfect for a little Shaymin who needed his rest. Or perhaps, after eating the bushel of sweet blossoms just up on the ridge a mile from this field, he was feeling fat and lazy - but no one needed to know that, right?

Exotic eyes looked back, seeing the blonde hair whip about but didn't mind it at all when it hit her in the face. "Roxy.... you don't know...." Bonnie hummed softly, trying to cheer her lover up. None of them did. Terra and Ven.... no wonder they always dismissed the idea of showing the footage to her. Terra actually got pretty upset, once turning things over when the memories came back, fresh in his head and Ven had to calm him and his preteen daughter. It was so quiet on nights like that.
She heard Roxy sigh behind her and slowly, she turned back around, hugging onto the overly fluffy pokemon. "KIIISSS!!!" What would they find when they get there? Was Kuku there? Did he already find the flute? Or would they beat him to it? They never descussed about what they would do if they found the flute first. They would give it to the officials of course... but from the time the flute met their hands to the moment it was in the police's grasp, they were in complete danger. And a haunting feeling ran over her heart, knowing it had been days since any of them spoke with their parents. They were all probably worried sick.
She looked down over the land, seeing luscious forests and high mountains. It was beautiful and secluded, not a house in sight. It was perfect, yet dangerous for a traveler. So many while pokemon, but no close aid for help. As much as she wanted to enjoy the view, that feeling made her sick to her stomach. It was a feeling that she remember from long ago... when everything suddenly went dark and silent. Oh Arceus... Painfully, her eyes closed, knowing that when the light of day was blocked out, she would have to face a memory.
It was a dark room, only being lit by the flashes of nearby lightening. A horrible cramp in the little girl's stomach awoke her, making her gasp and sit up in bed. "Ah!!" She looked around, her little eyes trying to adjust to the darkness around her, her balance trying to adjust to the motion of her room. It was swaying back and forth, her things being shifted across the room that weren't already nailed down. A clap of thunder made her scream, hiding under her cotton sheets. When another flash of lightening lit up the room, she peeked from her hiding place and slowly sat back up. She had dealt with many rough storms in her life, as early as it still was. Why was this one so different?
She felt the cold wood under her feet as she crawled out of her bed, racing across the room when the thunder rolled over her head once more. She opened the door, which led her to a very small hallway. Though the world around her was rocking back and forth, she was able to keep her balance well, using the walls to guide her small body down the hall and up a small flight of stairs, leading to a larger door. Not to her surprise, her feet were feeling wet and cold as each step she climbed, water was seeping from under the door. It was to be expected when living... on a boat.
The door swung open and the handles were ripped from her small hands, the wind being unforgiving as it whipped around her, making her chestnut hair fly about. This was a bad storm indeed. Fearlessly, or maybe stupidly, the girl ran across the deck, slipping and sliding from the water that was glazed over the fine polished wood. "MAMA!" Her little accented voice called, seeing her mother still in her day wear, grabbing onto a rope for the sails and pulling it with all her strength. The woman's hair was white, pure white and her skin contrasted it, being quite a few shades darker. Dark eyes looked back at her in shock, never letting go of that rope. "BONNIE!?" "MAMA, WHAT'S GOING ON!?" "THE BIRDS, THEY ARE ANGRY! BONNIE BUNANSA, YOU GET BACK TO YOUR ROOM! BONNIIIIIIE!!!"
But the little girl didn't listen, running passed the tall woman towards the helm. There, she saw a man, shorter than the woman, putting all his weight into the wheel. "PAPA!" "OH DARLING!? W-WHAT ARE YOU DOIN OUT HERE?" His voice carried a fine rich accent, most likely where the young girl got hers from. His hair was a light gold, though darkened now due to the rain. His skin too was different, a peach in color, though a bit pasty from being wet. "DON'T YOU WORRY YOUR HEAD OFF, LOVE! THE STRAHL NEVER LET US DOWN BEFORE! WE'LL BE BACK TO HODOMOE IN NO TIME! NOW GET BACK TO BED!" The little girl, now drenched from the stormy rain shivered, her eyes closing before she turned and ran back across the desk, hearing a small call coming from a cage.
She nearly fell down the small flight of stairs and screamed when she got back to her room because the ship was hit hard by a wave, making it turn right over onto it's side. She crashed against the wall and everything became dark when a drawer was pulled from her dresser and came right down onto her.
Another gasp was heard as Bonnie opened her eyes wide, suddenly seeing the greens and blues of the world flying by her. She could hear her name being called but she couldn't respond. She couldn't...
"WHAT WAS THAT!?" Roxel called, seeing his sister wave one of her arms. Something was wrong with Bonnie? "TEN-CHAN! MAYBE WE SHOULD STOP AND REST FOR NOW!" Even though they were close, this could be important!
Though the field was peaceful and quiet, the sound of a single flower being crushed under the boots of a man was shattering. The man in black over saw the field, seeing how perfectly pink it was. The new spot for these rare flowers to bloom. The spot where new Shaymin could be born. He certainly didn't want that to happen. So, he continued to walk over the field, not caring about the house that was in the distance, overlooking the area. each time his feet back down, a flower was crushed, petals lost under the cruel, uncaring man. By his side, a blue dog followed foot, he too caring very little about the flowers, not because he didn't want them to be there but his thin stomach knew that food much be close. Or so he hoped.
The pokemon upon the man's shoulder's shifted her weight when she saw something move in front of them, seeing through the camoflouge. "MURKROW!"

"Bonnie?! Bonnie!!" Her girlfriend was calling but she was getting no response at all. Tensai looked over, seeing Roxanne signal again. She seemed panicked. He glanced back at Roxel and nodded. "Alright!" He led their flying partner down and the other's, seeing the change of course, suddenly did so as well. It would of been so much easier if they had communicators so they could figure out what was wrong.
Giant wings flapped before landing easily on the ground. In moments three other Pokemon touched down as well. Tensai and Roxel both jumped down hearing over to the Togekiss where Roxanne was shaking her girlfriend who was starting to shake. "Bonnie?! Bonnie!! Get a hole of yourself?" "What's going on?" Lucina asked in confusion - only for her eyes to widen when she saw Roxy slap her girlfriend.
Green eyes opened, detecting something was in the field. "Min...?" He mumbled, sitting up, only to hear the sound of crunching. That wasn't right... the Gracideas! He hunkered down low, looking out from between the flowers... only to see a man he did not know walking through his field. On his shoulder was a Murkrow, and tailing behind him was a shiny Electrike. Who were they? How did they get here? CRUNCH went another flower. And how DARE THEY STEP ON HIS FLOWERS! Little, cute teeth were grit as he shifted towards them - but that movement caught the crow's eye.
Well, no use in hiding. He jumped up, rubbing against the petals, and felt his confidence rise as his transformation took place. He burst from the flowers suddenly, petals flying around him. Suddenly he was no longer as tiny - he looked like a mini-reindeer perhaps, with large wing-like ears and a mostly white body except for his green feet and red flower scarf. He appraised the other in moments and knew this person was up to no good. "Miiin..." Came an angry noise, a ball of energy starting to form, threatening hostility. "You are not welcome here. GET OUT."

"NAAAhaa!!!" Bonnie suddenly cried when she felt a hard slap against her cheek, almost making her fall to the ground. The team watched in worry, almost feeling the pain themselves. Did she really have to hit her that hard? Maybe so because it definitly snapped the tall teen out of her trance, making her hold her cheek and look over the group, like she had never seen them before. "I....I saw my parents..." "Your parents?" Xel questioned, glancing around the strange forest they had landed in. "Where?" "When I closed my eyes. I remember them... what they looked like. They called me.... Bonnie... Bonnie... Bunansa... and.... something about.... going back to... Hodomoe..."
Everyone looked at her with questioning eyes. Bunansa? Hodomoe? How strange? "But you're Bonnie Tellus..." Xel pouted, completely forgetting that they all once had different surnames. Names that were forgotten and made anew when they were adopted. "Maybe it was that footage that made you remember them? Seeing everyone's adopted parents?" Namine offered, but it didn't explain too much. "The name Hodomoe sounds familiar though..." Gunnar rubbed his chin, glancing at Tensai who agreed. Though reading was the only thing they really had in common, it was helpful.
"Perhaps... but I think it's because of this bad feeling I have." Bonnie spoke, nearly whispering as if speaking it would disrupt the order of the world. "Bad feeling?" "Mmm... I had it the night our.... our ship crashed." "Ship?" Namine questioned. "Yea... Bonnie was....was...." "I was found inside of a floating dresser drawer by the shore... I was floating with a ship wreck before I was brought to the orphanage..."
Gunnar swallowed, now learning a lot about the usually quiet Beauty coordinator. That sounded.... just horrible. "I'm just worried.... we haven't talked to our parents about what we're doing and I know they'll get really mad but---" "Are you scared?" Gunnar smirked, crossing his arms in a smug way. It was Roxy who stepped in, saying her girlfriend was never scared and that she--- "Yea." There was a squeak, everyone quickly turning to see Bonnie's whose make up was actually starting to run from the tears welling up in her eyes. "I am...."
She closed her eyes, feeling the warm stream of tears run down her cheek, remembering all the times she use to run to Terra or ven for comfort. "Daddy...." "Papa...." This made everyone suddenly double guess their current mission. Bonnie WAS pretty fearless but seeing her crack under the pressure, they all felt a shot of fear too. They knew how dangerous it was... but according to Ten-chan, they didn't have time to even think...
The blonde man looked up as the flying legendary flew up from his hiding place, seeing the ball of energy form. "So there you are..." He smiled before snapping his fingers. "Itzel, Thunder!" He ordered, hearing the blue pup jump before him and the clouds above them started to collect and turn dark before a powerful charge of electricity shot down towards the Shaymin. The legendary was fast, able to avoid it and shoot off his own attack, the green orb shooting towards the invading team. "Protect the tailwind!" "MurKROW!!" An invisable plate wrapped around the three, making the ball crash into it before disappearing. The pokemon flew up and wagged her tailfeathers, making a small tornado wrap around herself and Itzel.
Now they could match this Shaymin's speed. "Thunder wave then Volt charge, GO! Arlin, Shadow Ball!" The pokemon wasted no time as they readied their attack, a powerful purple and black swirling ball shooting from the bird's beak while the electrike sped after the Shaymin who was dodging the dark sphere.
