"Doesn't matter," Terra said, brushing the question off not really feeling like explaining that's what he had gathered from the site and his own knowledge. "Just trust me." The woman didn't hesitate to call one of her friends out. Swellow was given a quick order and the box was destroyed in an instant.
Terra gazed up, seeing some of the mist stop spraying and the electrical barrier light up before some of the lines completely went out. "Alright, there should be three more." He pointed downwards. "There should be one not too far from here. I'll handle the other two." The woman paused, not really liking the idea of going off alone but she nodded and headed off.
Terra turned and started running down the other edge, leaping over the dead and trying to pretend he was just in some race with hurdles or something. He paused when he caught sight of black metal underlying rock and stopped. "Leafeon!" He called, his grass type fox appearing. "Lee-ee?!" Leafeon looked about and whimpered, stumbling up against his master's leg. W-What was this place?! "I know... try to ignore it." He said softly before pointed. "Use Energy ball." The tan, leaf-eared fox hesitated then nodded. A swirling ball of green appeared in his mouth and with a flick of his paw, fired up towards the box.
It hit it, and it exploded like the one before. More of the electrical current and mist disappeared.
"Good job boy." He praised before recalling him and moving on.
Sora watched silently as Froslass fly around Metagross, blowing ice and electricity over the steel type. His eyes saddened, knowing, finally seeing what his fox had. She... she loved Metagross didn't see? "She's... trying to revive him..." He murmured sorrowfully, knowing had it been him and Riku, he would of tried the same thing. But if Ven couldn't do anything how could the ghost-
He almost yelled in surprise as a claw moved, and his jaw dropped as the lights of Metagross' eyes came on though slashed through by the cracks. He mouthed wordlessly - did she turn him into a ghost?!!?!
"Meh.... Meta...gross?"
Roxas met the dragon's gaze unflinchingly, something he had always been good at, even with the angriest of Pokemon. And he tended to work with a very angry group of Pokemon...
He rose the Stylus, letting the Pokemon see it. "I know you may not be willing to trust just my world. This is a Stylus... it will show you my words are honest." He didn't even think about it as he pointed it at the dragon. "Capture on..." The discus flip out and zipping around Gyarados in a blue light, Roxas moving his arm in a circular pattern with the stylus, the cellular-like rod glowing at the tip.
Raikou laughed nervously and shook his head. "Oh no master, never!" Too bad... it would have been fun. Suicune smiled a little but rose his head as he heard an explosion. He did not know what to say to his master unsure as well... and minutes later he heard another one, not too far off. "Strange..." He stood and walked over to the edge, and to his surprise some of the mist was starting to fade away, and vaguely he was able to see through it.

Fuu nodded, hesitating before finally running off. her bird followed her, trying to not look at his fallen feathered comrades. They came to another black metal box not too far away like Terra had said. She pointed to it and without a sound, Swellow knew what to do. He flew up, his wings glowing again before he shot out powerful cuts through the air, making the box explode.
"Great! Return." She called, pointing the pokeball at her friend and seeing how eager he was to return. Her red eyes shifted, looking up through the 'fog', noticing that it was almost cleared. She could see the large bird peering down along with not one, but two legendary dogs.
Riku slowly left his lover's side, carefully walking towards the two pokemon. As he did so, the heavy pokemon started to shift his four legs, his two from ones slamming into the kitchen floor as he tried to pull himself up... but fell back down, making the whole house rumble. "Lasss!" The ghost called as she wrapped her arms around his head. The red eyes closed, seeming to be in pain but they slowly opened again when he heard a soft call from a familiar voice.
"Metagross... a....you.... you're alive...." Riku whispered, his hand coming out and placing it gently onto the metal outing. The pokemon seemed to moan... but agreed. He was alive... but even he knew that what was keeping him alive wasn't going to last long once the ice melted. Riku's watery eyes looked up at the ghost maiden, smiling happily. "Oh Madame Snow.... t-thank you...." "Frooss~~" She nodded but rubbed Metagross's head.
"Yea, don't worry... we'll hurry." He grimaced at the sudden rhyme but shook his head as he took out both their pokeballs, calling them both back. The silverette looked back at the brothers, walking back as carefully but quickly as possible. "He have to hurry and get him to a pokecenter."
The red gyarados continued to growl, looking at the device that Axel had used. He huffed, making water and blood spray on the two rescuers but the styler was turned on and the disc wrapped around the enraged beast. Or at least... the once raged beast. The disc continued to stay blue as it swirled around him, the gyarados seeming to calm as his fins pulled in completely and his muscles started to relax.
He even... started to purr.
"H-he did it..." Axel suddenly whispered next to Aqua, a huge smile on his face as he watched Roxas. He finally calmed a pokemon by the styler! And... and a pokemon he couldn't contain either. He was... so proud of him...

Still too shell-shocked to mouth, Sora continued to stare in wonder. Maybe... maybe love really did beat all odds. Or maybe it was the luck of the Eevees on this mission... all near death experiences. He didn't know. All he knew was Metagross was alive. And that was more of a blessing from Arceus then they could of hoped for at this point.
He smiled shakily as Riku returned the two, but it quickly turned into a frown at the others' urgency. Of course... Metagross wasn't out of the red yet. It was that rush once more, like back on the swamp field where a battle in his youth turned into a disaster from one bad call.
But this time... the Pokecenter wasn't a few blocks away.
It was several hundred miles away.
How could they ever...
"Right. Alright." Sora said, not thinking of the odds and ignoring the look Ven was sending him. They'd do it... somehow they would! "Let's go then!" He turned, rushing out the door.
One circle... two.... three... The rings glowed white and faded slowly.
"C...Capture Complete." Roxas finally stuttered out as he realized what he'd just accomplished, in disbelief himself. He... He had done it. After years of practice and failure... he finally did it. Sure, he'd probably never be able to duplicate it but...
He smiled though when he heard the sea serpent purring, feeling his content. It was probably something... he had hardly ever felt, living the horrible life he did. He shut his eyes just enjoying the moment before a sound caught his attention.
"Solar beam!" Cried a brunette neither he nor the fox breaking stride as the attack was launched. There was a flash of light far on the edge of town, the sound of a small explosion he had missed the first three times... and then up above the electrical field went out and mist escaped into the air. And up, perched on the rim looking down where not two but three legendaries.
Ho-Oh and Suicune who had led them here... And a third that would probably send his eldest brother into an epileptic fit if he could only see.

Ven's eyebrow rose as he heard the two. Had they lost it!? There wasn't a pokemon center for MILES! With a sigh however, he ran after them, over the bodies again. Skidding to a halt, he heard a call from above, seeing a flygon flying down towards him. "MOANA!" Ven cried happily as his flygon did corkscrews down, fluttering before landing. "GON!" She shivered, looking around as saw the horrible sight.
The blonde grabbed Riku before he could run anywhere, taking Metagross's ball. "What are you doing!?" The silverette cried but Ven rolled his eyes. "Trying to help!" He looked back at Moana before placing the ball on a pouch that was attached to her neck. "Quick girl, bring this to the closest pokemon center." "Fly?" "There are two in Ever Grande City in the east." He gave her a loving pat before she was up in the air and out of the hole.
The blonde smiled at the rest before seeing Fuu running down the stairs close by. "Come on!" He pulled Riku and Sora with her, all meeting around the lake. He paused though, stopping Sora before pointing at the rim of the hole. "Sora! Look! Raikou!"
"Suicune, purify that water..." Ho-oh ordered before spreading his large wings and swooping down. The smell hit him harder down here as he perched on top of the gym's roof. Narrow eyes looked around, seeing the humans all gathering around the disgusting lake as Suicune jumped down to it.
Axel ran over to Roxas, pulling him close as he looked up at the red gyarados. "You did it Roxas!" Two rescuers who didn't think they could just proved themselves wrong. As the water around them started to purify, the gyarados seemed to relax more. The water washed away old stains and new, allowing him to dip his head in and wash his face along with drinking the clean water.
When his head came up, he was asked for assistance. "Do you know where the baby Lugia is held captive?" Axel asked, knowing that he probably wouldn't listen to anyone but Roxas now. As he thought, the dragon just groaned in his throat until Roxas asked the same question. The pokemon seemed to nod before Roxas asked if he could free it and with that, the gyarados gave out a roar before splashing down into the water.
Easily, the red scales moved through the clear water down deep, coming to a large container where a beast as large as him almost was laying on the lake bed. He looked horrible... "Doooooos~~" He called, wrapping around the container until he saw a device attacked to it. He banged the container with his tail, awakening the legendary inside before backing away. "GYAAAAAA!" He warned before a beam shot out, smashing the device and a large door clicked, opening slightly.

Wide blue eyes blinked as he caught sight of something green flying past and all three of them slid to a stop as... Moana came flying down?! But wait hadn't she been...? Sora looked towards the sky, noticed it was was so much brighter...
The barrier, it was gone!
His head snapped around when he heard Riku calling out, but saw what his brother was up too. He smiled gratefully, seeing the insect dragon flying off before spotting Fuujin hurrying down the stairs towards him. "Alright, let's go!"
They were just on there way again, this time headed to the water when Sora felt himself jerked to a stop when a hand grasped his arm. "Wha-?" He started to ask as he saw where his faternal twin was pointing.
Then his eyes widened and his jaw dropped, seeing the large electric Pokemon sitting by the edge as well. "RAIKOU!" He grabbed onto Ven suddenly hugging him tight. "It's Raikou!!!"
Down at the lake, Suicune easily touched the water down below, a blue glow spreading across the water with each tap of his paws. He looked about an expression of discontent on his face as he used his wind to push the dead and debris out of the water and onto shore, including the body parts of two who the team would no longer recognize as the rhyming pair. There was not much left alive in here. He walked in a quick half circle, and the ripples echoing to the edges, clean and clear once more.
What... had happened here?
His head inclined though when he heard what the red-head and blonde where asking the Gyarados, and he heard the response of the dragon. His eyes widened. An affirmative? "Cuune...?" But how...?
Terra walking down another staircase, seeing Suicune pacing nervously as the Gyarados submerged, before walking over to the edge of the water where Aqua was standing. The two seemed to glow as he spoke with her, getting answers. From the story she was recounting and what he could hear, it was obvious he was being told what had happened to this town, who did it and how they managed to hide Lugia from them.
Roxas smiled a little, holding onto Axel as well. "I can't believe it..." Whether he couldn't believe they had finally finished this mission - and were alive - or just that he was able to capture a Pokemon styler was unclear. Maybe it was both.
"GUYS!" He pulled away though, hearing Sora suddenly and seeing a happiness in his gaze... and hope in Riku's. "Is Metagross...?" "Off with Moana to Ever Grande to the Pokecenter!" Sora chirped as he hurried on the pier suddenly hugging Roxas. "And Raikou's here and I can't believe it and ohmygodisn'titamazing?!" The blonde rescuer blinked but chuckled. "Well there's that epileptic fit..." Sora pulled away some, blinking in confusion. "Huh?" "Oh nothing! I'm happy for you guys though... I'm glad everything's alright." Roxas said.
Red eyes opened slowly, hearing the Pokemon just outside his door. "Luuu..." Came a weak cry, just laying their in his cage. No food and the only water he had had had been gone for days. However, the whole containment shook making him raise his head. "Gia?!"
The door started to open, and water suddenly flooded in, wetting his dried, withering skin. "Luuuuu..." He sang softly, taking a big gulp of the clear water before moving forwards slowly, pushing open the door the rest of the way as he crawled out onto the lake's surface and looking up at the red beast, knowing he was under the control of those horrid people who took him away. "What... is going on?"

Fuu made her way over to Aqua as well, seeing her lover talking to the legendary once more. She must of been thrilled... and now that the sun was shiny down on them, it brought some hope into her face. Still... it also showed horrible things that they hadn't seen in the shadows. She glanced up at the bird who seemed to be looking over then, hearing his squawk and adjust his feathers as it he was having a conversation with himself.
Was he thinking of something?
Ven broke away to go with his brothers, hugging Roxas as well. "Great job!" He smiled seeing the red gyarados gone and the styler on his hand. It was easy to put two and two together. As for Riku, his hair shifted as the new, fresh wind blew down into the city as he looked up at the sky. They managed to do it... again. He was relieved that he didn't have to deal with the pain Sora did... but now he could relate better to his lover.
Down below, the red dragon swam around to meet the legendary who seemed to slowly get revitalized. "Gyaaaaaaaa Dooss, Doooos ra."Human came and helped and there is a big bird and a dog that made the water nice." He explained, his speech still like an uneducated Magikarp.

Roxas grinned, wrapping his arms around his other brother as he was given the unexpected praise. Then again, everyone had sort of know how much he had struggled with the styler... and how made he was about never quite getting it. "Thanks, Ven." Terra walked to the end of the pier, standing near Riku as he watched the four, seeing how happy they seemed. He crossed his arms, but sighed. He wasn't quite sure how they were accomplishing that... considering the mess of the town around them.
Under the water, the long-necked beast rose his head some more, then suddenly smiled brightly. A bird... and a dog that purified water?! "Ah! Dad! And Suicune!!" He flapped his long arms suddenly, and started to slowly swim to the surface, seeing the shadow of something standing at the edge. They were here... finally here!
"I see... that is truly horrible... but it is good that they had been contained." Suicune finally said and nodding to Aqua but he glanced back when he heard something splashing in the water. In fact... it drew everyone's attention...
As a small form of Lugia suddenly emerged from the water, little red eyes looking about before he tilting his head up, catching sight of the colorful bird perched on the edge of a house. "Dad!!" Came the happy call, the little bird dragon jumping from the water and flapping his arm as if he were trying to fly before - "W-Whoa!!" He fell right back in!
Of course... he was still too small to fly.

The red dragon blinked as he saw how excited the young one was and seemed to gain his strength back as he swam up towards the surface. Should he... help? Nah... he was a legendary, right!
Riku glanced at Terra, smiling as he watched him sigh. "Good job, Terra." He praised softly as he patted the taller's back. Before Terra could put in his change, there was a huge splash and everyone's eyes widened as they saw... a smaller version of Lugia.
It was like slow motion as everyone realized that this was Lugia's... and Ho-oh's baby. This was the pokemon... they were here to save. The happy look on his face seemed to deplete the look of his health. He was thin and his white skin seemed ratty. Had they no taken care of him either? Did they... want him to die?
Ho-oh blinked, looking over at the cry that was so familiar. "SON!" He called before swooping from the gym roof, over the lake and being splashed by the water as his son fell back in. With a little help, the red dragon helped him back up. The bird flapped overhead, making the water ripple but everyone gained a smile as the two bird suddenly nuzzled. "My son... you're alright."
Suddenly, he dipped his beak into the water and grabbed the 'baby' by the scruff of his neck before pulling him up and out of the water. Strong wings flapped and they shot up into the sky. "WHOA! DAD!?" The baby called in surprised from the strength. Ho-oh opened his mouth when he was high enough, letting the baby drop before swooping down and having him land on his back. "WHAAAAAAAA!!" "OOOOOOOOH!!" The legendary called out, a rainbow starting to appear from his back feathers as he swirled around in the sky with his son. "Heheheheeheheheehee!!" The baby giggled as he soared on top of his father, looking at all the water around the island.
"LUGIA! WE'VE FOUND HIM!" Ho-oh called into the wind as the humans down below came together, lovers hugging one another.

"LUGIA! WE'VE FOUND HIM!"
Red eyes opened slowly before she tilted her head up out of the water. "Luuuu...?" Ho-Oh....?
Found him....?
"Giiiii!" Came the faintest of sounds across the water, sounding like happy laughter, the voice full of youth. Her eyes went wide, and then she jumped out of the water with a loud cry. "GIIIIIIIIIIIIIA!!!!"
The eight saviors and two lower legendaries watched happily as Ho-Oh flew around with his son. Raikou jumped from the rim, landing atop a house as Suicune jumped up towards him, landing beside him. they said down, looking up with smiles.
And then....
"Giiiiiiiia!!!" Lugia herself was flying through the air to Ho-Oh. "My son!" She called, hovering close to Ho-Oh and nuzzled the small form of herself laying on his back. "Oh my dear... where have you been?!"
"No where special." The other chirped happily, nuzzling his mother this time. "I missed you mom... dad..." Tears fell from Lugia's eyes, but she smiled. "I missed you as well..."
As Lugia spoke, her voice was full of music, that sad but beautiful tone. Roxas lent against Axel, a smile on his face as he remembered why they had done all this. The prove was above them. The baby was so innocent and small, but so happy... he was worth ricking their lives for. Another cry made him look towards his left and suddenly a beautiful blue bird swooped through the air underneath the two, ice crystals flying from her tail before she perched on the rim, looking up. "Articuno..." Roxas murmured...
"And Zapdos..." Sora said softly, pointing towards the sky as the electrical bird came flying around the rim next, landing close to his sister. He leaned some more against Riku, a little uncertainty in his eyes. What would he think... if he saw him this time?
"Look!" Terra called, pointing out something else, and everyone followed his indication, seeing a third dog jumping from the rim of the town town onto the building to stand on the other side of his brother. The two dogs greeted the smokey-tailed dog. "Entei..." Aqua murmured in surprise, before a soft glow drew her eyes to Axel... or more particularly the Pokeball on his belt that radiated heat. "I think Moltres wants to join them..."

As Ho-oh made another swirl, the rainbow growing in color as the sun hit it, he saw the larger legendary coming towards him. Last time he saw her... things were bad. However, she didn't come to beat him up again... which was good as he flapped in place so the child's mother could nuzzle the baby on his back. He watched with narrow eyes as they talked before a few feathers twitched, drying the tears from the Lugia's face.
There was a huff as a large fire dog jumped down, landing on the building with his brothers before plopping down next to them, exhausted. "Teiiiiiiiii..... " "You have no idea how hard it was for me to get here!"
"ZAPZAP!" "HEY THERE!" The loud pokemon called as he buzzed around the rim before sitting next to his sister. Finally, he was found! That rescale!
Axel blinked as he felt a ball warm on his side, glancing over to see Moltres's ball shake. Glancing at Aqua, he nodded before taking it off. "Yea..." He tapped it, making the ball pop open and an amazing heat hit them all as the large fire bird flew up into the sky. "MOOOOOOOOOOL!!" She flew up high but knew not to interrupt her leader so she landed on the rim as well. She was shocked however as her brother and sister... came over to sit with her.

"Hahahaha, maybe you should be faster!!" Raikou taunted mirthfully, making both of the brothers nudge him playfully. They were full of happiness themselves, glad to see their master and his mate finally in good spirits.
Not far away on the opposite end of town, another pair of blue, yellow and red creatures sat, the blue bird smiling to the other who looking between them, surprised. She looked up, seeing father, mother and child rejoicing. "It is wonderful to see... things back to normal"
Lugia sniffed some feeling the tears being wiped away and opened her eyes, guilt on her face. She had not forgotten what she had done not a day ago. "Oh Ho-Oh... I am so sorry." She nuzzled him suddenly, "Where ever did you find him?"
The baby Lugia smiled as his parents talked, before looking about and down towards the land, where the other birds, dogs and humans where. Most of the sight was not pretty in between those who were alive.

Entei seemed to deflate, exhausted from trying to locate his master AND get over all that water. "HEY!" He barked as his brothers made fun of them but then gave them all a wet, sloppy lick on the cheek, not minding the element differences.
Moltres seemed to smile as she realized that they weren't going to bully her. Glancing up, Zapdos just seemed to roll his eyes. "Too mushy! But... I guess I'm happy too... no more water!" He chuckled, sparks flying here and there.
Up above, Ho-oh blinked as he was suddenly nuzzled, a blush running over his beak as little hearts started to form around him. He shook it off though, coughing in a way before hearing the other question. His eyes narrowed, looking down at the humans. "They knew where to go all along. Giratina and Shaymin were right..."
Speaking of which, there was a swirl in the ocean below, a purple lining around it as a beast looked through... though as a bubble on his side of the world. His 'wings' spread, knowing that what he was about to do probably wouldn't upset the mother anymore... but as his job, he had to make sure the Reverse world was taken care of...
He suddenly swooped down, hitting the water but paying no attention before he started to corkscrew around the wet area... and slowly, the water levers started to go down in his world... and the real one.

"SHAAAAAAAAYMIN!" Came a happy cry above, a reindeer like Pokemon flying about high above the reverse world as his friend started to lower the water level. Finally, he would be seeing mroe green then blue again! "WHOOOOO! NO MORE WATER!" He flew down quickly, following his friend's path and laughing as he flew around him in spirals. Though he was small he was fast, and even had some fun flying through his many claw-tipped wings without bothering him flight path, laughing all the while. He could get so excited when things were good.
The large beast tilted her head before slowly looking down, seeing the humans standing huddled together. "Them?" Their son, who had been studying them all the while, suddenly gave a little cry and pounced from his dad's back onto his mom's, making her flap a little harder from the unexpected weight. "Oof! Oh dear you're getting too large to do that." The mother chastised lightly, no real bite in her tone. The boy paid no mind laying his head on the crook of her shoulder. "Mom I know them! Those two, the one all red and the little blonde who likes singing next to him! They saw me get born!"
Lugia turned her eyes down, staring at the two he was indicating. "Ah... yes." Of course, she should of know immediately. The red-head 'owned' her daughter after all. She hovered in the air for a moment before gently flying down, making sure to keep her body level for her weakened son. She didn't miss how a few of them tensed, uncertainly and protectiveness flaring in some of them.
"You eight helped me bring my son back to us?" The large legendary said, looking at them all. For once, none of them started in surprise at the sound of the mother's voice ringing in their ears. they were getting use to certain legendaries having the ability to speak the tongue of humans through psychic abilities.
They all paused for a moment, before Sora finally said. "No..." His answer seeming to surprise the water beast. He smiled though, thinking of all the events on the way that helped them get where they were now. "Not just us. We had lots of help... along the way. From friends old and new... and we certainly could of never gotten this far without them."
This seemed to appease the beast and she smiled a little at the honesty but looked at them all. "I owe you all... this entire a great debt. I did nothing but try to harm you, yet all of you still did your best to help me. Why?"
"Apparently we're fucking stupid." Terra grumbled. "Terra!!" More then one person yelled and Ven did good to elbow him.

Giratina heard the call, looking up to see his friend come down and started to fly around him. He as much smaller than the large beast, allowing him to fly between the 'wings' and around his body. He gave a cry of happiness as he saw how happy his friend had become. Hopefully, with the water now able to go down to normal, his friend would be able to move back, closer so he could keep an eye on him... and the flowers would grow again thanks to combees carrying the pollen with them.
They flew down and down together, swirling and laughing as the water continued to come down with it.
Ho-oh sighed softly with relief as his son jumped off him, allowing him to stretch his muscles and fly normally. At least Lugia was larger and could deal with the weight better. However, he watched as she lowered, before flying over to the gym where the pups were. Landing behind them, he saw how they all rose but were shocked as his long wings wrapped around them... in a hug. "Good job, my boys."
Entei blinked but smiled as he nuzzled into his 'father's' feathers. They were so nice and warm.
Axel swallowed as they all brought their lovers close again, looking up at the Lugia. Her voice was true and one that he had heard before. With a smile, he looked at Sora as he explained... but at the next question, he rolled his eyes at Terra, hearing a 'OOF' as Ven jabbed him in the rib. "Jackass!"
He shook his head however before stepping away from Roxas, looking up at the mother and child. "Because we believe that all Pokemon count... big and small. If they are in need of help, we do everything in our power to do it until the end. We try to correct the wrong, to help pokemon gain a second chance." He glanced at the red dragon before back at the two.
"It could of been one of the dogs, the birds, Groudon, Mew... e-even Arceus that was in trouble and we would be there. Our world is nothing without the Pokemon... and we realize that. Your lives... are as valuable as ours..."

The large white and blue beast fluttered their, listening to Axel next as he spoke, then watched as the blonde stepped back up beside him, taking his hand and smiling. "Thank you." Lugia spoke softly, before looking up on the mountaintop where Moltres was perched with her siblings, chattering softly and even laughing some just like they used to when they were fledglings. "My daughter seems to have a fine sense of judgment when she choose you."
She turned her head the other way, smiling at the sweet seen of her mate embracing the three dogs, Entei seeming to enjoy it the most while Raikou looked like a pertinent teenager, unhappy with getting an unmanly hug from his dad. Suicune was sighing away a bit, more possibly because of the heat them the hug, but he seemed content. "There is much we must fix of our mistakes these past few days..." She blinked though when her child suddenly jumped off of her and into the water before surfacing and swimming over to the other's sitting at the pier. He moved his fins onto it, lifting himself up a little and smiled.
"Thank you for saving my life. I really missed my mama and papa." Came a small childish voice, some laughter and happiness there.
