Roxas stirred his own soup some, enjoying more the warmth it gave off as he held the bowl in his hand. When he heard Riku though he huffed a little. Well he helped!
Aqua meanwhile was just doing her best to eat while still staring at the Shaymin, consequently burning her tongue when she forgot to blow on her first mouthful.
Terra sighed and shrugged, going about devouring his own dinner. Ah what the hell, as if this trip wasn't fucking weird already!
"I'd offer to help," Sora said, still distracted by the cute little legendary, "But I'd bet I'd burn the water." It was true. In the kitchen, all Sora could do was... make sweets and drinks. When it came to other foods though... well let's just say it was always good to have a water Pokemon handy.
Even hesitated though when Fuujin spoke up and Shaymin stopped eating. He seemed to sigh before settling in Axel's lap - wait, was already half that bowl already gone?! - and nodded. "No one is as sorry as I am. Lugia is being very unreasonable about the whole thing. If I could I'd go confront her myself and give her a piece of my mind!"
"Her child was stolen though." Roxas said righteously, feeling as if he should stick up for her.
"So! I agree it is terrible but she can make another!" Shaymin stomped his foot cutely. "However, rallying those other legendaries, having them act so atrociously and hurting all who are innocent. How is that right? What does that solve? She;s being downright selfish!" The Shaymin shook his head before scratching behind one of his flower's with a tiny back paw. "And if I can not find a place the Gracidea's will bloom, she will have killed all the Shaymin as well."
"...What do you mean by that?" Terra ventured curiously.
"Shaymin don't reproduce like some legendaries can. We're born from the Gracidea's themselves. When a Gracidea spouts seven petals instead of six, one of us results."
"Ah, like a four leaf clover!" Sora related. "So that means more than one of you can exist at a time..."
"Precisely! Or at least we could. But now that the garden is gone... and I was so hoping for a friend."

Axel narrowed his eyes at Riku before tipping the bowl, taking what was left of the soup and filling up Shaymin's bowl. He didn't want a legendary to go hungry!
They all listened to the little one's story... though Ven frowned as he heard the part where Lugia could make another. Sure she might be freaking but honestly... he knew that if one of his brothers were kidnapped, their mother would be the same. And it wasn't nice saying that Lugia could have another child. It was most likely her first and any GOOD mother wouldn't be so carefree not to care. He sipped on his soup before slouching. This legendary wasn't being very nice either... even if he WAS cute.
Fuu nodded but continued. "Do you think your friend Giratina will be showing up anytime soon?"
Everyone froze again as they heard her question before looking at the hedgehog for answers. Hopefully it would be a positive one. Thank Arceus that he only created ONE Giratina!

Sora was quiet as well, looking at the tiny Pokemon. He could feel a bit of Ven's anger at his words, but sighed also able to feel the honesty in Shaymin's heart, not even a cloud of wrath behind the words. He didn't think the legendary was being intentionally mean... if he couldn't reproduce, obviously he didn't know what it felt like to have a child or even have the instinct to want one. He didn't understand that each child was special to those who birth them. At the same time he was... partially right. What Lugia was doing was unfair even if there were probably many people who did deserve her wrath.
She and the Kanto birds and Johto dogs were hurting a lot of people and Pokemon. For them alone... Aqua and Fuujin had nearly died at sea, Axel and Roxas lost their home and possibly a few of Ninetails pups, and Terra just lost his gym and a new mother wolf almost herself and all her pups! And those were just those who effected them - the eight people who were trying so hard to HELP Lugia were still being hurt. Hell... if he and Riku had still been on Mirage...
They probably would of been dead by now.
At the next question a few people swallowed nervously, but Shaymin just blinked, tilting her head. "Well, it depends on how bad things get on this world. Everytime this world is hurt, it hurts his too. If he thinks things are getting out of control, he might try to drag Lugia into his world."
"And... do what?" Aqua asked, already knowing the answer.
"Well fight her of course!"

Riku's eyes widened as he cringed. Fight her? That didn't sound good at all. An angry mother and an angry guy who just wants peace and quiet. It could be the fight of the millennium. He was sure if he was talking out loud, Ven would want a ticket to go see it.
"Well... we're trying to help find Lugia's baby." Axel started to explain. "That's why we're going through unknown parts to make a short cut so we can do it a bit faster. We didn't mean for our Pokemon friends to startle you any."
Bre walked over to Riku, smiling as he was pet and pouted a bit to see that Honeytail was getting a nice combing. He wanted one too!
Fuu was about to ask the little one if he had any idea where the baby could be but she doubted he had any clue. He was concerned about saving the flowers and finding a new home for them. She glanced back at the nook, sighing softly. How long would it be for this to overflow and Shaymin would have to go elsewhere? She wondered if he would like to travel with them... but that would be asking a lot... and they wouldn't want to put him in danger or Giratina would surly show up and smite them all.
It seemed like they were stuck between a rock and a hard place. What if things do get worse and worse and they won't be able to even get close to saving the baby before Arceus gets so pissed he comes down and kills everyone!?
She wondered...
"Hey Axel... did Moltres even tell Lugia that we were going to try and help?"
The redhead paused from taking a sip of his soup before shaking his head. "I don't know... but I doubt it would change anything..."

"Oh that's alright. If I was in my other form it'd be you guys who would have to watch out!" He smiled some, before going back to his food. He was just down to the end of the bowl - he certainly ate fast - when he heard the two humans talking about...
"Wha- whoa!" Shaymin flailed before he fell into the bowl, his weight upsetting the circular shape so that he and it went tumbling out of Axel's lap. The bowl flipped and landed bottom up on the ground, Shaymin underneath.
Everyone blinked before Roxas finally chuckled, reaching out and picking up the bowl to reveal the little one. "Miiin..." He started licking himself. "Mmm, I taste delicious!" He shook out his fur before turning to face Axel. "Now, you spoke with Moltres?"

"WHA!" Axel cried as the little pokemon went tumbling off his lap. It was Roxas who picked the bowl off and Axel smiled, happy to see he was alright... and how he ate everything he cooked. It was like an honor!
He frowned though when the legendary looked at him and asked the question before nodding. "Y-yea..." He reached for a pokeball at his belt and let it fall gently into the grass before a large energy popped out and the fire bird was revealed. She spread her wings out happily before folding them back in and looked around. Seemed like everything was alright. She slowly turned around, seeing the group she knew quite well--- hey! Who was the new...
Her feathers fluffed a bit as she saw the other legendary and leaned her head down, looking at it more closely. "Tres?"

Shaymin tilted his head when he saw the Pokeball come off the other's belt - and then to his surprise the bird appeared in a flash of light. "My!" She was a sight, able to outshine the campfire like it was nothing more than a wimpy candle. All the others looked up at her, some of them, minus Axel and Roxas who had gotten used to it, in complete awe of her magnificence.
"You've grown rather much since I last saw you." Shaymin said, surprising the others. Seen...her?!
"Wait, you've run into her before?" Aqua asked.
"Well of course! I have to travel the world all the time to spread forests and clean the air! I meet lots of creatures doing that." He nodded as if that should of been obvious before looking up at Moltres again. "I went past your home a few years ago though and couldn't find you. Thought you might of just disappeared altogether! I guess you've been with this red one here though?"

"WHAAAAA!" Fuu cried as he practically climbed into Aqua's lap. Unlike everyone else, Fuu had never seen Moltres so close up. She knew Axel had her in his team but... WOW!
Axel's eyebrow rose as he nodded at Shaymin's answer, though found it rather interesting that they knew each other. He wish he had the ability to fly around and see all sorts of creatures.... and get away with it!
The large bird nodded her head. "Mol, tres tres!" She started to speak and even if the humans didn't understand, Shaymin did.
"It's good to see you again too! Though it is unfortunate this time. I am very sorry about what my leader is doing to this world." She glanced at the redhead before looking back at Shaymin. "And yes, I have chosen to watch over this red haired human since he was young. His heart is true and he is passionate about humans and pokemon alike that burns like fire. Almost as true as mine."
Her wings fanned out again, having been in the pokeball since the storm. "Ho-oh wants the humans to pay for kidnapping my master's baby and he riled up my friends and family. I seem to be the only one not hot headed... ironic as it seems."

Aqua chuckled at Fuujin's reaction - she had to admit she was much the same when she first saw the bird during the conference when she and Ven were 'posing' as Pokemon inspectors. She had know Axel had had it as well but actually seeing it - and getting to touch her! - that had been amazing.
It wasn't until much later, when they were later friends, that she and Ven learned how Axel caught her, and why she was so important to him not just because she was a legendary but because of how powerful her heart and morale was.
"Min min min min min." The little Pokemon laughed. "You were always the one who made the most sense." She glanced around at the humans around her. "I don't suppose you can tell them to stop what their up too. It's getting ridiculous. My home and all but four of my flowers are gone and from what I heard, a quarter of Celebi's forest was burnt to the ground! I haven't even been able to go clean up the mess Entei made! We haven't done anything wrong, why would they be punishing us?"

The bird closed her eyes and seemed to sigh as her beak opened but nothing came out. She shook her head before speaking again. "I don't think they will listen to me. They wanted me to help but I refused and got nothing by disgusted looks from everyone but my master herself. She is in much pain and even if she is the one rising the levels, I know she deems no harm like her mate and the others. She just wants her child back and they think I do not care. But I do!" Her wings flapped. "I want my new master to be safe so he can grow up well... but this is no way for them to find their baby. That is why I came back to my human master. They have more brains and have done wonders in the past."
She rose her head some, looking around the group. "They are hoping to find the baby soon and have an idea where he might be held captive. However, they're not making it easy for us to help them."
Axel leaned up against Roxas as the two pokemon talked, tilting his head a bit as he wondered what Moltres was saying.
Ven on the other hand started to yawn, placing his bowl on the rim of the stone firewall and laid down on their sleeping bag. With Moltres around, the area got nice and hot... and was starting to make him sleepy.

Shaymin sighed, shaking his head. ”But Moltres…” The bird spoke back to him, telling him there was nothing she could do. He supposed he’d let it be – if she had no confidence of being able to at least talk them out of some of the destruction it was useless anyways. ”Well with the Gracidea flowers gone I can’t travel very far from this region, but if I can help your friends I will do my best.”
The bird and the hedgehog spoke for awhile longer, before Axel finally recalled her. “You’re welcome to stay here for the night Shaymin,” Sora said jovially, his nature friendly as always. “If you’d like.” Axel nodded, agreeing with the brunette and adding he could stay warm by the fire. The legendary seemed to love this idea and everyone settled for the night (of course Ven had beaten them all to the punch, already out like a light). The fire was burning strong while Shaymin was given a folded blanket as a pillow and was set close to the blaze.
”Rr…rrrrrr…..rrrr!”
“Mhmph…”
”Rrrreeerrrr!”
“Nnnn….Ri….you’re mak’en noises…”
There was a grumble beside him, something about… cheese?
Sora blinked his eyes opened, his eyes having little trouble adjusting since the thickness of the forest kept it darker than normal, though it was obviously some form of morning. He rose his head from the ground, the spikes on the left side of his head pushed down flat against his head. He squinted towards his bag, seeing it shift. “…eh?”
It shifted again. What the-?!
He glanced towards Shaymin, wondering if the Pokemon had gotten hungry – but no he was still fast asleep on the blanket. And all the other Pokemon they had kept out were asleep as well. So then…
“Riku… pssst Riku wake up!” Sora shook his lover the other grumbling before his eyes opened asking him what was up. “There’s something in my things!” He said, and Riku looked up at him in confusion, the look on his face dull. Of COURSE there were things in his things, that’s why they were called things. “A moving thing!” He hissed.
This made Riku wake up a little more and he sat up. He raised his head up seeing that indeed there was a shifting in the bag. He glanced around his lover, seeing the movement in the bag as well. He called for Umbreon and the black fox stirred from where he had been dozing. He yawned some but when his master called insistently the fox hurried to his feet and wandered over. From all the movement and noise, Luxray stirred as well from where he had been laid out on a flat rock. He got up stretching as well and walked over, tilting his head curiously at the little moving lump in his master’s bag.
Sora swallowed nervously, both him and Riku watching intensely as the black fox came over to the bag, sniffing at it curiously before poking it with a paw. The shifting stopped immediately and there was a small squeak – “Et!” A little bushy tip of a tail poked out and wagged some. It was Riku who ventured out of their sleeping bag and grabbed the back of the bag and then lifted it up…
…And out came tumbling a magenta and tan colored Pokemon, falling right in front of Sora. It landed on its back, holding a cracker up to its face and nibbling on it happily. It wagged its tail and smiled, big, honey brown eyes looking up at Sora imploringly. “Fuuuurret!”
Sora took a deep breath, his heart pounding in his ears and his mind swirling. He stared at the Pokemon for as long as he could before their seemed to be a weight on his head, making it tilt back. He looked up at the canopy of branches and leaves above, lighted faintly by the sun. He faintly heard his name being called worriedly, but he couldn’t manage to answer. “Oh god…” Sora whispered and then he fell back on the makeshift bed, utterly unconscious.

Pale lids were closed as his chest shifted calmly. It was easy to tell that he was asleep... well... wanted to be. "Mmmmnnggg..." He groaned as he was shaken. "Cheese on....top....counter....in..." He dozed back off after hearing Sora.... but was awaken again. "Sora... things are things..." His eyes lidded as he looked at the other but he glanced over at the bag, seeing how it was shifting.
This seemed to wake him right up. "Bre!" He whispered, getting his fox's attention. Umbreon stood, stretching out before walking over, sniffing it. Smelt like... another pokemon. He pawed at it and blinked when he saw the tail.
Riku frowned, grabbing the bottom of the bag and gently pulled up on it so whatever it was rolled out.
He blinked as he looked at the Furret then glanced at Sora who seemed to tilt his head back. "Sora...?
Then he fell.
"SORA!" He called leaning over his love as he shook him... but there was no response. He glanced back at the furret, seeing it eat happily as the other two pokemon sniffed it. Furret... that's right. Sora had a furret... and she died. He looked back at Sora with a sigh and shook his head. "Ray, do you think you can give him a good shock?"
On the other side of the camp, Axel was snoring away as he drooled on his and Roxas's shared pillow, not hearing Riku's cry at all.
Ven was tucked away in Terra's warmth, only snuggling closer as he heard the loud noise.
A silver haired woman seemed to pop her head up, her hair all over her face as she looked over the site at the other silverette. "Wha....what's going on?"

"Ret?" The Pokemon sat up, still eating away on the little cracker it found.
"Luuux..." The lion Pokemon tilted it's head at the sight of the Pokemon. It looked just like... Rosa. Well, coloring aside. He lent close starting to sniff it as did Umbreon, making it - no, her - start to laugh.
'Hey, that tickles!' She chattered to them.
The lion shook his head - he got woken up by this thing? - when he heard Riku. Now they were talking! A big grin was on the lion's face his tail wagging as he came over. He placed a paw on top of his master.
"Nnnn.... who cares?" Aqua grumbled drowsily, wrapped her arms around the other female's waist. She jumped up thought when she heard a suddenly scream. "Okay I'm up!"
Roxas meanwhile shifted against the red-head, not wanting to open his eyes so he just listened. But when he heard the yell he too was quickly sitting up, "Sora?!"
"Nnnn....shut up fuckers..." Was the only response Terra made as he cuddled close to Ven. Why did they have to be so loud in the morning?
"Miiin..." Green eyes opened, the little hedgehog yawning as she lifted her head from the pillow. "What a ruckus!"
The brunette meanwhile was jerked back up in a sitting position at the shock, wide awake now and his hair stuck up in all directions. "What the..." The lion was chuckling making Sora frown at him but before he could yell he heard Riku beside him, telling him he had made the order. "Why would you have my own Pokemon attack me?! It was bad enough having a dream about a rose-colored Rosa!"
A chuckling made him look down though and his eyes went wide once more at the sight of the ferret Pokemon. "Oh god you're real!"
"Furrrrret!" The other said, finished her cracker before turning and heading back towards Sora's bag, starting to crawl back inside.
"H-Hey!" He spluttered out before tentatively reaching for it, tentatively grabbing it around it's middle and lifted it out.
"Reeet!" Whined the creature, a bag of crackers dangling from it's paws possessively.
"Y-You know... you coulda just asked..." Sora said nervously, swallowed as he set her down and taking the bag from her. He fished out a cracker and held it up to her.
"Ret!" She took it and nibbled away.
"What the hell...?" A sleepy blonde stood and wandered over, looking down at them and the Pokemon. Roxas' eyebrows pinched some. Was that a-?!
"Errr this isn't really happening is it?" Sora mumbled to no one precisely. "I'm having a dream right."

Riku winced as he heard the sizzle and Sora shot up, seeing sparks through his hair and his eyes wide. Well... at least it worked... "Sora, don't yell at him. I asked him to do it." Before HE could get yelled at, Sora seemed to see the furret again, making Riku frown. The look on Sora's face...
He probably would act the same though... if one of his pokemon died from a tragic reason and he saw another... so sudden.
He rose his hand and started to rub Sora's back. "It's alright, Sora..." He would of suggested he capture her if he didn't know it would be a bad thing to say.
With Roxas gone, Axel claimed the whole bag, sprawling out and drooling on everything like a lickitung!
Ven's eyes opened when he heard his brother's scream, frowning as he tried to look up but it seemed like some big doof was on him and wouldn't budge. "I...can't breath....asshole!"

"Mmmm.... no I'm not... bitch..." Grumbled the heavy weight on top of Ven. For his efforts he got smacked - hard. "Ow!" Terra rolled away and grumbled. "Little bitch... emphasis on little."
Aqua glanced over to see what all the unexpected noise was about... and her eyebrow quirked at the sight of the newest addition. What the fuck did they look like!? A shelter?! "What's the big deal it's just a-" She never finished, Roxas looked back and giving her a glare to end all glares. She trialed off... and then remembered what these Pokemon meant to Sora. Oh...
Sora was shaking a little but he slowly started to nod at Riku's words. Yeah this was fine everything was okay. It was just a furret not to mention the word was full of them! Nevermind the fact he hadn't seen one since he lost Rosa. That he constantly avoided forests that were known to have entire packs of them or Sentret, just to keep those memories buried. Nevermind-
Sora's head started to shake before he head his face in his hands. No this wasn't okay at all.
