It wasn't Moana's fault that this crazy woman didn't know how to ride a flygon! She was pulling on her reins in a way that made her slow down when the woman apparently wanted her to speed up. The female insect growled every once in awhile as Aqua yelled at her. She was not liking this at all! Luckily for her though, they didn't travel very far and she was happy to swoop after her mate and land next to him. She sang to her master, asking him never to let those two ride her again but she went unheard as the blonde seemed to speed pass her and up the rocks.
She huffed and heard more complaining when she suddenly heard a loud bang and looked over, seeing Aqua all tangled up in the reins and had fallen off her back. Fuu carefully dismounted and helped the cursing woman while Moana laughed in her own way. "FLY FLY FLY!"
Axel carefully climbed up next to Roxas, looking down at the water. "Wow... look at all the red!"
"It's gorgeous." Ven smiled as he looked about, seeing some of the night pokemon around near some ledges drinking from it. He frowned though before looking at the group. "Do you think this will be destroyed too...?"
As he asked, the woman walked over, looking over the ledge. "It's a good think no one comes this way period or such a natural beauty could be destroyed by someone wanting to move next to it unless you have some intelligence." Luckily, there were people in this world that knew the beauty of nature and knew when it keep it the way it was... but something it wasn't always the case.
"Do you think this would be the best place to camp for the night?"

Aqua growled, pointing up at the laughing Flygon. "Oh shut up!!" She continued to huff and bitch until her lovely Fuu came to her rescue, helping to get her leg untangled. She got up shortly after, brushing herself off and appearing as if none of that had happened, following after her lover. Her eyes softened some at the site of the nook. "Wow..."
Terra sighed but shook his head. "We could go a little further in to not disturb the wildlife but we need to stay close to the Darnell. It widens into a stream which will lead us in the general direction of the mountain we'll need to cross to get to Pastora. And it makes it easy for the Flygon to land since the forest isn't so thick."
Sora was smiling as well, finding the display rather beautiful. What phenomenons in the world had to happen before something so specifically beautiful like this could be made? He looked up hearing sound sound of hooves and watched in wonder as two Stantler leap the nook further upstream, bodies graceful as they disappeared in the forest. Wow, what amaz-
He caught sight of something that made his heart stop. The brunette gasped suddenly and stood, so quickly he almost slipped right into the water if Riku didn't catch him and tug him back. He heard the silverette call in worry, asking him what was wrong but whatever he saw quickly scurried away back into the forest, almost making him think there had been nothing there at all. "I uh... it's nothing. I thought I saw something is all." He shook his head when he was inquired about what. "I'm... not sure..."

As they took in the beauty, Riku's eyes widened when he heard his lover gasp and quickly grabbed him around the waist before he went diving into the water... that was way down below. "Sora!? Are you alright?" He looked over Sora's face, seeing that it was pale. "What was it?" When he saw that the brunette wasn't sure, he frowned. Maybe this wasn't a safe place to stay...
He took a pokeball from his hip and hit it on his pelvic, the black fox appearing in the night. He hopped on some rocks, looking down and barking happily.
"Bre."
The fox blinked and looked back at his master who seemed to point at the forest. "Go track to see if there is anything unusual..." The black fox nodded before quickly jumping from rock to rock before over the stream and towards the woods.
Even though he couldn't be seen, Ven knew he was around. "Haunter?"
"HAU HAU!" The ghost appeared behind him, making a face before the blonde gave him a dull look, making the ghost rather sad. "Go with umbreon and make sure to back him up if something happens."
"Haun haunter!" The ghost agreed before floating after the fox.
"It will probably be safer to camp along the water though... even if it floods. Camping in unknown woods is dangerous and rather stupid in my opinion. As long as we keep our distance and don't camp in an obvious water trail, we should be fine."

Everyone was quiet but worried as the black fox disappeared, the rings started to shine out as he hit the darker part of the woods. Be careful Bre... Sora worried, unable to stop looking out towards the nook even as a decision was made and everyone started to head back towards where there Pokemon where waiting. Riku called to the other and the brunette finally sighed and followed after, unable to look over his shoulder every few moments.
"We'll need to be careful about the fire." Roxas pointed out as they started to mark the site and Axel made the thought of building a stone circle. The blonde nodded, liking the idea. "That will probably work."
Everyone started to get to work setting up camp. A large electric lion was called, and Sora asked for his Pokemon to look for any good foods sources around. The lion set off with Terra into the forest, eyes glowing. Riku and Axel started to make the stone circle while The triplets started to clear the path and fuujin and Aqua, with Misdreveus, set out to look for firewood.
On the other side of the nook, a small creature hurried across the floor before coming to a stop at a little bush that was full of big red berries. "Oooooh..." The creature reached up and snapped one off, eating it happily, "Mmmm... so sweet!"
A green eye opened when he heard a rustling, before seeing a black fox jump from over a rock. "Oh dear!" He cried before turning around and started to hurry off. The black fox called, both confused and shocked, before hurrying after. "Oh dear oh dear oh dear!" The little thing kept running speeding around a big boulder when suddenly-
'HAU HAU HAU!'
A large mouth of a Haunter suddenly opened wide as the small one came running straight for him. Green eyes went wide seeing nothing but a red tongue, sharp 'teeth' and blackness. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAH IT'S GOING TO EAT ME!" The small one slid in the brush before turning around, kicking up pine needles as he did before running to where the black fox and quickly got under him.
The fox made another noise of complete confusion, before looking upside down between his legs at the little creature that was shaking and hiding his face under his white paws. It was very small with tiny legs and appeared to look much like a hegdehog with a green patch of fur over the top of it. Two large pink flowers adorned wither side of his head, dark leaves sprouting behind them.

"That should do it." Riku smiled as he placed the last rock adjacent to the other. It was about a foot high and some but it was sturdy and would do its job. The wind blew a bit, bringing in an odd chill through the forest.
Ven brushed the last of the leaves and pine cones away from the area they were working with before walking to the flygons and taking a bag from them. He pulled out their large sleeping bag before laying it out near the stones and pull out an extra blanket that he got from the abandoned pokemart. They were able to get a lot of food and supplies from the place... but made sure not to clear it completely out... though Ven wanted to. They took all that they could carry though since Terra was right. It would be under water soon.
He sat down on the makeshift bed and watched his brothers do the same... and stared at Sora as he sat down on his and Riku's bag, taking out a familiar book. He sighed and looked down at the grass, frowning some. He had to wonder... how their own childhood home was doing. That reminded him...
"Hey Sora?" He called getting Sora's attention. "Have you heard from dad since we saw him the other day?"
About that time, Fuu and Aqua came back into camp and placed the firewood into the center of the stone. Axel quickly lit it up and started to set up their bowl to use for cooking as Roxas went to get some water.
The fox was about to release his poison spray when he felt something go under him.
'Where did it go?' The gas pokemon blinked and looked around him but slowly floated towards the black fox that was looking between his legs.
Yellow eyes went wide as he recognized the pokemon hiding under him... something from a... a story book! A legendary was hiding under him!?
'S-shaymin? What are you doing here!? Are you alright? We didn't mean to scare you.'
'I did' The ghost laughed before the fox glared at him, making Haunter rub the back of his head.

Sora sighed as he fell on his and Riku’s sleeping bag, unable to get the little creature he had seen out of his head. Little pink flowers, green and white fur… It couldn’t have been what he thought it was though – that was impossible. He shook his head making himself comfortable while Roxas passed him to go down to the little stream. How he was going to get the water Sora wasn’t sure but he didn’t mind that idea. He just needed to get his mind off of whatever it was he saw…
Ah, he knew!
He rummaged through his bag, tugging out a familiar little book worn with love. He opened it, setting it in his lap so it caught the light of the growing fire. He, once again, didn’t get one sentence in before he was being interrupted. He glanced up at his brother then shook his head. “No. I was going to call him after I spoke with Demyx but then there was that news report and then Terra’s parents and all the fun we had at Sandgem…” He sighed and shook his head, “Once we get to Pastora I’ll call.”
Aqua sighed, rubbing her sore arms some as they watched Axel set the dry wood they gathered on fire. Fuck, riding a fucking Flygon was a pain in the ass! And sleeping on this nice, uneven, rocky ground was going to be just as fun! Remind me what we’re getting out of this again?”
“A better attitude?” Spoke another male first, sounding strangely cheery as he came through the trees, Luxray walking proudly beside him. In his arms were fruits and other strings of vegetation – probably spices – in his arms. “Alright kiddies, get ready for a damn good dinner. Shit, how did you all survive without me?”
Roxas looked down towards the water as he got back towards the rocks before he started to head upstream where the incline was less sharp and he could easily lean over and gather water like the Pokemon could to drink for it. He crouched down, dipping the canteen in the water.
The little hedgehog peeked from between his paws, ”Well I came from over there, which is a bit away from over here.” He indicated some random direction with one little paw, ”Just minding my own business while I looked for food and next I know I am food!” The ghost found this hilarious but he huffed, ”And no I’m not okay I’m very hungry now and…” He crawled out from underneath Umbreon looking about, ”And now I lost the berries… they were so delicious and sweet!” He sighed, seeming absolutely depressed about this.

Everyone looked up as they heard Terra come over, Ven smiling as he saw how much Terra picked. He had to wonder if Ida had taught him how to pick out the right things or if he learned it himself. He really doubted that Hatori would of taught him.
Axel grinned as he stood up, waiting for Terra to hand over the goods before looking through them. "Yea well, guess who's the one who has to make something out of it!" He stuck out his tongue before continuing to look at them, realizing what each were and his eyebrow rose. "Huh... it's... I can turn this into a Christmas soup minus eggs." He shrugged before starting to prepare it before the water got here. He knew Roxas would be kinda cranky though... he loved his eggs in the Christmas soup he made him.
"Berries?" The black fox frowned as he looked down at the smaller pokemon before looking around. What berries? Umbreon glared at haunter and frowned. "Go find him his berries!"
"What!?" The ghost exclaimed before crossing his arms. "Why me? I wasn't the one who came in here and scared him!"
The fox blinked but started to growl. "Yes you were! My master asked me to see what was going on, you didn't have to go and scare him! Now look!"
"You're not my master." Haunter proceeded before turning around.
Seeing that this was getting them nowhere, Bre sighed. "Fine, I'll go look for them. I don't see what my brother sees in you, though!"
"HEY!"
Bre looked down at the small hedgehog before smiling. "Come on, let's go look for those berries." He turned around and looked into the dark night. "You said there were this way, right?"

"Well that was a hard decision." Terra teased as he gave Axel all the things he had picked before going over to where Ven sat and settled in beside him. Luxray meanwhile went over to his master, stretching out on their sleeping back.
Not long after, Roxas came back with the water and like Axel thought he complained about the lack of eggs the soup would have. As the activity died down though all there was the sound of the popping fire and Axel humming as he made them something to eat with the blonde's help. Meanwhile, Sora was leaning against Riku, finally getting a chance to read while the others around him chattered or relaxed.
Shaymin watched the two Pokemon bicker back and forth, before the fox finally decided what was best. He was silently glad - he didn't want to be around the ghost if he could help it. But when he was asked the question he blinked. "Oh yes! Or.... maybe it was... over there? Or there?" The little Pokemon looked all about, "Huh, where did I come from?"
He started to scurry down a random trial, Umbreon giving a little bark before following. "Now they have to be around here. Berry bushes don't just get up and walk away. That would be silly." The little legendary said logically as he sniffed around for Umbreon's scent trial, but as they got deeper into their hunt a different smell all together started to waft in the area. The smell of soup.
"Oh! I think I'd rather try that." He followed the smell all the way to the nook then hesitated seeing the big gap between the two river edges.

Riku smiled as he brushed out Honeytail's fur. That was another thing he was considering about doing. He seemed to have the touch of combing and brushing pokemon out that soothed them. It would be kind of cute if him and Sora had their own business. Massage and grooming all in one place. That would be rather gay in Terra's eyes but... they WERE gay! He could imagine the kind of people they would get though. Stuck up owners who cared about how their pokemon looked besides how they felt. He didn't want to promote that.
Around his waist, a ball shifted, making him look down to see that it was seviper. He probably wanted out to see Honeytail but Riku only tapped the ball softly. "Sorry... but we don't need any babies on this adventure." The ball finally stopped shaking, Riku giving it a sympathetic look before starting to brush the skunk again. He wondered if it was even... possible for the two to have babies. They were so different!
Across them were Axel and Roxas, stirring up the good smelling soup. "Wow, it smells like Christmas is coming soon." Ven smiled as he looked over at them but closed his mouth when he saw the look on Axel's face. It seemed sad.
"I miss Ninetails.... Absol... and the pups..." He finally admitted as he looked at the bubbling meal.
The fox followed the hedgehog as Haunter disappeared, coming up to the nook and sniffing the air. It smelt good... but easily made by humans. His master's friends. He looked down at the legendary, frowning a bit as his ears bent. He wanted some soup? But he would be scared of his masters and what would his masters think when a legend came to them---
He paused. That was right... they already had a legend in their party. Would Shaymin know that.
"Wait here, I know someone that can help you across!" Bre barked before running to the shore and jumping over by using the stones. He ran back to the camp but was silent as he came closer. The rings on his body stopped glowing as he sneaked behind his master, seeing he was placing the belt on his backpack behind him. Great! Carefully, Bre walked up and grabbed a pokeball with his teeth before pulling on it, the ball unlatching before the fox ran away, without being seen or heard.
He ran back to the nook where the other pokemon was waiting on the other end when Bre let the ball drop and it opened, releasing a larger pokemon. The ground under it gave a little, the tree around them rustling from it's mass.
Axel blinked as the ground shook a bit, making everyone look around. He looked at Roxas's hip, seeing that Zan wasn't moving so... they should be still safe from any random disaster.
The metal pokemon looked across the way, his eyes widened when he saw the little hedgehog. "Whoa..."
"Can you help him across the river?" Bre asked as he looked up at his friend but Metagross nodded, walking into the water and lowering himself so that it would be easy for the smaller one to hop on.

Sora glanced up from the book and quirked an eyebrow, before grinning. "Though they would be cute. Little Stunky and Seviper." Oh but taking care of them would be another matter entirely. He could imagine them having to buy a lot of tomato soup and poison antidote for the rest of their lives...
"Skuun!" Honeytail said hiding her face in Riku's leg, embarrassed.
Meanwhile on the other edge of the fire, A small orange otter was entertaining herself by balancing a ball on her nose. It was easy to tell she was female from the spots on her back. A male Buizel, after all had two oval-shaped spots - females only had one. Something special about her spot though was it was very strange - it had a little curve in the top, and them a downward pull at the bottom, turning it into a point. Humans would call it a 'heart'.
"Bui!" She bounced the ball and her master caught it easily before throwing it back. Buizel hit it with a paw so it went up in the air. As it fell she used a small water gun and it went up higher. As it came down once more, she hit it with her tail and her master once again caught it. "Zel!"
Roxas hummed as he cut up the cut and Axel added the spices, the food quickly turning into quite a dinner. The smells of the spices and other ingredients making the whole area smell good. He quirked a smile at Ven's observation about to tease him with a song - it was starting to smell ♪a lot like christ-mas!♪ - when he heard the sullen tone in his lover's voice. He looked at him before reaching out, placing his hand over Axel's. "Hey... you know we couldn't of taken them with us. Especially with Sanuye." The red-head only sighed more. Of course he knew that but... "We'll see them soon Axel, don't worry."
It wasn't like they had a choice. They either would see them soon... or see them never.
They all paused though when they felt the ground shake, and Luxray rose his head, eyes glowing gold. The trees started to become see through, making him able to see straight to the watering area. He spotted Umbreon and Metagross down by the water and- "Lux?!" What was that?!
The little Pokemon got closer to the ground as he waited for Umbreon return, stomach grumbling all the while. It had been a very long time since he ate... all the excitement...
"Min?" He murmured when he heard the bushes rustling then looked up seeing the fox had returned with a pokeball. He knew what those were - many humans had tried to use them on him but he didn't like them very much. They were so crowding and dark. No sunlight, no flowers, no fresh air! He couldn't figure why any other Pokemon would like them either.
The Shaymin stood as the new Pokemon appeared. "Oh my..." He said, having to tilt his head waaaay up just to see this one. He was a bit scary too especially with those big red eyes - but them he made a little bridge for him. "Oh thank you!" The hedgehog jumped on the Pokemon, little feet having to scramble some before he made it up on the cold surface. He shivered, hurrying across but paused at the edge, looking down. "Miiin..." He started to scramble down and yelped as he tumbled over, rolling in the grass. He blinked before shaking himself off and smiled. "Dinner time!"

As the ground continued to shake and Luxray cried out, some of the trainers stood and looked around, frowning. This didn't seem good whatever it was. However, the calmed some as the shaking stopped, their hearts calming before sitting down again. They really didn't want to go far, especially not on their own and with dinner almost done.
However, they heard the ground shake again... but more steady... like.... something walking to them!
Riku looked back at his belt for this feeling seemed familiar and noted that Metagross's ball was gone. But why...?
They all looked up as the metal pokemon appeared, seeing to look fine and not upset at all but as they looked towards his legs and feet, their eyes all widened and the camp went silent as the black fox and a little green and white hedgehog.
Ven started to rub his eyes, not believing what he was seeing as the legend just walked up to Axel and Roxas, got on Axel's lap and looked into the pot and sniffing the soup.
Axel's jaw hung as he watched the pokemon, not sure what to do... though he kept wanting to reach out and pet it... and he would if it wasn't a LEGENDARY!
What was...
He glanced at Roxas who seemed to be as stunned, then the rest of the group who's mouths were open as well. This must of been the place here Shaymin had gone for his new home. It was secluded, yes but... he wasn't sure if it was as safe.
"U...uuuh.... y-you want s-some soup?"

"Hey Ray, calm down." Sora soothed, petting the lion's flank. "What's out there?"
The lion frowned, but shook his head. "Raaay..." How could he even explain this? Since the lion calmed the others slowly did as well, but Sora still seemed concerned especially when the ground started to shake more. Why did it feel so familiar...?
His answer came quickly, eyes drawn to the large blue steel Pokemon as he came through the trees along with two other Pokemon. Sora sighed in relief. Oh, it was just Metagross and Umbreon and Shaymin.

SHAYMIN?!!?!?!?
Blue eyes went as wide as saucer's, his jaw falling to the ground. W-What?!
"Bui?!" Cried the little orange otter, while his master stared just as shocked, the little blue ball falling from her limp hand and rolling away, unnoticed.
Beside Ven, Terra gaped, unable to believe what had just walked through the bushes! "Min, min, min," The legendary said as he walked over to the tallest of the humans and bounced onto his lap. He raised himself up some, looking down at the yummy smelling mixture. "Miiiiin!"
Fruit dangled over the fire a knife partway cut through a slice but the hands had stopped moving. Roxas stared in disbelief at the small green Pokemon - and his shock only grew when the little thing came hurrying over to Axel's lap. He shared a glanced with his lover before looking back down at the Pokemon.
Axel finally managed to speak out a question, struggling with his words. Shaymin craned his head up looking at the other before smiling. "Oh yes that would be lovely!"
Roxas gasped.
Terra choked on air.
"Oh my god..." Aqua finally said, her hand going over her mouth.
Sora swallowed hard and after a short silence ventured, "Did... did anyone else... hear that or... am I crazy?"
The little green and white Pokemon looked around at all of them. "Hear what?" All eight humans made various reactions of shock, some of them even crying out in surprise. The little hedgehog tilted his head some. "I don't understand, what are you hearing?"
"Y-You!" Roxas finally cried.
"Oh. Well that's nothing special. Now about that soup..."

Axel's eyes widened even more when he heard a little voice. A voice he never head before. HE TALKED!?
He would of freaked, again, if it wasn't a legendary. He didn't want to startle him OR hurt him any because who knew if it would summon the beast living on top of the mountain. He wouldn't want to hurt or startle any pokemon to begin with however.
He nodded before grabbing a bowl, his hand shaking as he started to put some soup into it before pulling it up to Shaymin's face. He swallowed as the little creature sniffed it and then... blew on it SO CUTELY!
Ven actually started giggling as he watched the little creature cool off the soup, making Terra look at him as if he was nuts. "What!? It's cute." Ven barked at him but they all went silent again as Shaymin started to lick up the soup, seeming place.
Axel took a sigh of relief as he watched the legendary eat his soup. He'd have to thank his aunt for teaching him the recipe!
Riku smiled as he looked down at Sora, rubbing his back. "Guess the eevee coins weren't a curse after all. This is the third legendary I've seen..."

"Min!" The little Shaymin said happily as the bowl was held up to him. He placed his paws on the rim of the bowl, listing his head up over it and took a deep breath, blowing over the hot soup. The steam wafted about before he ducked his head and took a few tentative licks. "Miiiin!" He really liked it!
Roxas blinked but smiled some, like his brother unable to help but find it... utterly adorable.
Sora glanced at Riku before looking back at the Shaymin. "That... he was who I thought I saw by the river... I thought I was just being crazy..."
"I saw you too." The Shaymin said, glancing up at him. "All of you admiring the water. But humans aren't always very nice so I thought I'd better hurry away." He started to tip his head down towards the soup again then looked up seeing everyone still staring. "You guys should really eat some of this, it's very good! Aren't you hungry?"

Axel continued to look down at the pokemon, unable to stop blinking. Maybe when he tasted the soup a few minutes ago... he was drugged or something. Maybe he thought one of the herbs were wrong and he was tripping. Seriously!
But if everyone else was seeing this... than he must of been in his right mind.
Slowly he took more bowls and started to fill them up, passing it to Roxas so he could pass it down all the way and continued. Spoons were handed out and the party, though still stunned, seemed to enjoy the warmth and memories that the soup had.
Poor Axel... both his proud meals were interrupted by something. At least Roxas always liked his stuff when they were at home.
Ven sipped on it after blowing it cooler, smiling at how warm it was going down his throat. He had to admit... Axel was a great cook! He wondered how Terra would be once they moved in together.
Riku took was shocked how how well the soup came out without the eggs. "I'll have to cook tomorrow night. I have to see if I can outdo the chief here!" He laughed before looking down at Shaymin again. He looked up at Roxas them, wondering if the blonde even had a hard time with Axel getting all these compliments. He knew how to keep pokemon's fur shiny, knew what was best for their appitite, how to treat them with they were sick or wounded, knew how to use the stylis and was a great cook. He was also skilled at battling and riding Rapidash.
Fuu frowned as he watched in silence, not taking a sip of her soup yet. "We're sorry to here what happened to your homeland, Shaymin..." She finally said, seeing what his reply would be like.
