Amethyst eyes blinked, widened in shock as the other started to speak. "Maybe it is time for change." those words, combined with the eyes so full of emotion it made his very core shake, made his lips part and breath softly, "Oh Ku..."

The other continued, his words bringing tears to his eyes though he refused to let them fall - he was a warrior damn it! - and he was just about to give back an answer - maybe even joke a little bit about how they could now redecorate this old house like he always wanted to. He always though Kuku needed some more color to brighten up his life!

But he never got a chance as he heard the crowing in the rafters. It filled him with no fear. He had grown used to Kuku's animal friends, and with the berserkers help learned how to handle them, how to care for them, to appreciate them. Really crows and spiders were nothing when you've stared down the face of a dragon.

He saw the familiar large crow telling them of the time - and sighed sadly at his love's words. He knew, logically, that it was the right thing to do. But emotionally his heart screamed just the opposite.

He knew better though, if he stayed he could jeopardize everything there could be for them. This time was too crazy to take chances. "Yes, I suppose I must." He lent forward, brushing his lips with the other's and smiled to him. "I will return to you as soon as I am able."

He slowly pulled himself up off the bed, wondering in the back of his mind when the last time was that they had slept curled against one another for a night. He wiped off the cum carefully from his body and slipped back into his clothes. He turned back, seeing Kuku staring back at him as he was tying the rope back around his pants.

Once done, he lent hovering over the other, smiling softly as he cupped one of the other's cheeks in his hand a thumb running across velvet lips. "I love you 'Ku." He closed the distance between them, the kiss between them slow and sweet, savoring the feel of his lips against his. They did not know when their next meeting might be. It could be simply days or it could be long, torturous weeks. It all depended upon circumstance.

He pulled away, hearing the returning sentiment uttered from breathless lips. His eyes lightened and he brought their lips together for a a second, shorter kiss before pulling away.

And soon he was on the trail home, his heart light as he remembered Kuku's words only minutes previously. "A life together..." He smiled. Oh all the wondrous things they could do, locked within each other's presence without worry to hide, without fear of time, without concerns of punishment and pain. Fishing together, sleeping in the same bed, living in the same home...

He reached the door to his home three quarters of an hour later, his mind a far and his cheeks a glow as he thought of making a new mattress for them both and having fun testing it's strength as his hand pushed open the slab of wood into what seemed a whole other dangerous world not knowing, never knowing...

That his days with his love were soon to be no more.

The blonde nodded at the man's statement and slowly sat up in the bed. His arm slowly lifted and reached out to his side, the large crow suddenly flapping its wings and flew over, carefully perching on his arm.

The bird flapped its wings but Kuku whispered to it, bringing it closed. "Calm, Arluin." He wasn't sure what was wrong with his friend. She was also calm and he had to wonder if a storm was perhaps brewing... though he did not smell rain.

His worries drowned though as golden eyes shifted, looking at the man tying his rope to his pants. He wished...he didn't have to. However, when his lover came close, he could only smile feeling that hand on his cheek. Eyes lidded as their kiss came to be, soft and sweet. When their lips parted, he could only breath out. "I love you, Eskel." They kissed once more before he man pulled away, the berserker giving a sigh as he heard the front door open and the man left.

Kuku's arm rose, pulling it close to the open window. "Go, make sure he returns home safely."

With that, the large crow pushed off and flew out the window, curving up before flapping her wings strongly and soared quietly after the man as he walked the trail back to the village.

The berserker sat there for awhile, golden eyes looking around his destroyed home before shaking his head. "Someday... it will be like it once was..." He whispered before slowly laying down, wrapping the quilts around him, not knowing that tomorrow, Death would be at his doorstep.

Chapter Five
"Only in my dreams can we be like this"

A soft groan echoed in the room, the young teen rubbing his aching shoulders as he stumbled to his bed, naked except for the thin loose cloth around his hips due to the extreme heat. He hadn't done any work for mining metals for days, Hestia telling him that now it was crafting time to get ready for the market, but that didn't mean there wasn't any work to do. Ugh, he didn't even want to think about it.

He collapsed on the bed, lifting his head to blow out the candle by his bedside, and suddenly the room was dark. "Mmgh..." The blonde cuddled into his pillow, glad the day was over. Heavy lids fell over blue eyes. Maybe he'd go and visit the pools tomorrow get some of the... kinks out of his muscles... and... and.... and yeah....

Soft breathes echoed in the room the teen already fast asleep.


"Roxas!"
The bed bounced making the younger sway some. "Hey! Be careful!" The blonde snapped, stirring a little mixture in a bottle with his hand with what appeared to be a twig. "I'm making mom her birthday present."

Sora huffed as he laid out on the bed. It was still their room though there were differences. The walls were painted like they always said they would do, a nice mixture of soft yellow, sky blue and deep red. Their bed was no longer three but looked like the three separate ones had been nailed together, three pillows at the head of it. "Why are you doing that now? Dinner isn't until the morning."
"Well I'll be prepared unlike you. Besides you know mom loves it when she gets apple oil for cooking."
"Hey we didn't have enough apples for that!"
"Yeah we do, remember we found that second orchard a mile out?" Roxas said as if it was simple, placing a cork in the bottle and setting it aside.

The blue-eyed brunette blinked. It didn't have to make sense. "Oh right." He sat up tugging off his shirt. "Well I'm going to bed." The blonde watched him silently and this didn't escape Sora's notice, a quirky smile on his lips as his hand started to run down his chest, his stomach... over his crotch. "What?"

The wooden door opened, just able to catch the two off guard as a third came into the room. Almost identical to the other blonde though small differences were the key to tell them apart. This boy's eyes had a truer, darker blue to them while on the back of his head held a pathetic little ponytail tied up in twine.

The door closed as he looked back, seeing the two boys before pulling off his shirt, throwing it off lazily as he took a sigh. "You two better stop jumping on the bed or you'll get splinters on your elbows." He frowned, a soft blush on his face as he waved his clean, well kept up nails. His lips were swollen as his body curved in a way that would be attractive to any female who seemed to bump into him. His pants were low, the rope tying them up loose and blonde curls were easy to see at the bottom of a small happy trail.

Blue eyes zeroed in on the identical blonde, swallowing hard as his eyes wandered down his taunt, curvaceous body. That sight, combined with the noise of a rope being untied beside him, clothing shifting was enough to make his gut twist. Oh Divine... What were they doing to him?

Sora looked over his shoulder and smiled at Ven, the rope slipping off the bed. "Oh we'll be fine." He leaned close to Roxas, murmuring softly so that the younger shivered, "Right Rox?"

"I-" He started to say when a hot tongue swept against his earlobe. He yelped a little, jerking back. "What was that?!"
The teen laughed, blue eyes strangely dark. "You liked it~" He looked towards their triplet. "Come here Ven."

Messy blonde hair shifted in the pale face, covering the darkening blue eyes as he watched his elder brother lean in to his youngest. It was always a good idea to watch and learn...
A grin ran over his lips though when he heard Sora call for him and nodded slightly before moving over to the long bed, however on the opposite side of Sora.

He got onto the bed, crawling up behind Roxas before getting on his kness. Soft hands wrapped around each shoulder, even if they should be somewhat dry and rough from work. "You need to relax more brother..." The blonde smirked as he started to massage the identical one, leaning in close to on of his ears. "You've been working too hard lately~~" He whispered, hot breath blowing into Roxas's other ear.

The younger blonde tracked his twin's movements, tensing a little as he sidled up behind him. "What are you..." He shuddered at the air blowing past his ear. But he moaned lightly as the hands found a tense spot and he sighed, leaning back some, eyes slipping close. Wow it was so... relaxing...

"Like what Ven's doing to you?" Sora asked from somewhere close by.
"Mmm yeah~ so nice..." He groaned softly.
He sucked in a sharp breath as another hand fell across his stomach, making the stomach cave in. His eyes snapped open. "So-"
"You don't need your shirt. Help me out Ven." The brunette said, pulling up at his shirt, the two brothers easily pulling it up over his head and throwing it aside.

Pales hands fell onto his now bare shoulders once again, rubbing gently, there oldest brother watching them intensely. His breathing was starting to get heavy, a blush staining his cheeks. "O-Oooh..."

Ven smirked even more, the edges becoming more and more wicked by the second before he heard Sora's request for help. The shirt was pulled up and over the blonde's head and he helped pulling it over his arms and off, tossing it to the floor without worry. "There... this is better~~" Ventus smiled as he placed his hands on the bare skin, his warm pads on the cool skin. He pressed his thumbs firmly on his brother's shoulder blades, making circular patterns to ease the muscle.

His cheeks became a darker shade of pink however when he heard the overly nice sound and slowly ran his hands down the pale sides before coming up under his arm pits. Soft pads moved over the exposed collarbone as he leaned in, nose nuzzling the soft hair as he came closer until his lips were on cool flesh. "Relax, brother... we'll make you feel better~~" A hot, wet tongue slowly escaped kissable lips and ran across the flinching heat of Roxas's neck as his fingers slowly ran down, sliding between the pink numbs.

Blue eyes of the sky opened, glancing up through swirly blonde hair to see what the brunette was doing. "Mmm...Mmmm..." Roxas groaned continually, his head spinning as more and more breath was taken from him. The brunette broke away for a moment, letting him catch his breath but...

His blue eyes turned into a dark topaz as he heard the demand but didn't hesitate to open his mouth, feeling the digits fill the wet cavern.
