The Tale of Seven

Axel couldn't help but blush as he heard the other's words. "Well, vise-verse... I never met anyone else who liked Sea-salt ice cream too..."
They laughed about things as they and their pokemon enjoyed their cold treat, forgetting about the horrible news they saw this morning.

However, that thought stayed in the back of Axel's mind.
One of them... won't be continuing...
Tonight was going to be hard.

He smiled softly and took a sigh as he looked down at his stick, seeing that all the ice cream was gone. "I guess we better go and watch some battles."
They walked slowly back to the stadium, not even realizing what kind of fun a certain two were having way up above.


A few matches later, the redhead walked down the stairs and back into the building as some of the crowd continued to cheer. He didn't like the obvious distance between the two brothers, never seeing them like that before. He could only smile as he looked down at Roxas and nodded. "Alright, good luck!" He called as the blonde walked off.

"Tails! Tails~" The fox yipped happily as she was nuzzled, nuzzling and licking the other back before he left. She looked up at her master and smiled happily as she was pet, her nine tails flowing behind her gracefully.

Axel looked back, hearing Sora's less than Sora-like laugh and smiled softly. "Yea... I think he needs more ice cream." He joked before nodding. "Good luck!"
"NINE!" The fox called after the other, smiling and puffing out her chest as in wishing him good-luck too!

When Sora disappeared, Axel smiled and pet her more. "Well, I guess we better find a good spot."
"Ninetails!" She barked before following Axel to another door and up the stairs to bleachers that were getting full already. Nothing was like a sibling fight!


A large smile was on the girl's face as she looked up at the clouds above, knowing that that was where she was headed as the wings beat faster and they rose.
Closer and closer they got until they were in the fluffy clouds, not able to see anything.

The water from the clouds made the curly hair damp and the water seemed to roll off like it would on fake hair... but luckily, Terra wasn't looking. When they burst over the cloud though, the water seemed to dry quickly and the curls just hung a bit lower. Venita, however, wasn't worried about her wig... totally forgetting that she wasn't really a girl at all as she pulled her arms away from Terra's waist and... spread them out.

"I'M FLYING!" She cried happily before quickly wrapping them back around Terra's waist as her balance became shaky. She giggled happily though as she leaned her chin on his shoulder. The smiles they exchanged...were beautiful.

The fun ended almost as soon as it started as the Flygon lowered and started head back down to earth. Venita gripped onto Terra's waist tightly. The way down was bumper than up but the fun ride the dragon was giving was exhilarating, making her cry out happily every now and then.

When they landed, she took a deep sigh and watched Terra get off before reaching out and taking his hands, being helped off the dragon as well.
"I LOVED IT!" She cried happily once more as she wrapped her arms around Terra's neck and before he could say or do much, her lips were on his, kissing him passionately.

Roxas frowned as he walked down the hall, his eyes darkening more and more on the trip there. He turned a corner and then another knowing he was on the right path thanks to the signs. He hesitated at the end of the hall, having a short conversation with one of the workers there, confirming he was Roxas and he was on the red side of the field.

On the other side, nearly two football field lengths away a similar procedure was happening, Sora smiling brilliantly as he found his way to the hall and confirmed himself as the trainer for the green side. The conversation was short and took only a momentary glance at his Pokedex before they allowed him through, telling him to wait at the edges for the announcer to say his name.

The two brothers, unbeknowst to them, both nodded in understanding, said thank you and walked down the remaining length of the hall. They paused in the shadows and stared out the gaping hole left in the hall where sunlight was streaming in in brilliant white light. Outside the crowd was really starting to get loud and anxious for the battle to begin.

Roxas took a deep, steadying breath his heart racing as his nervousness returned. At his side Absol stood a little straighter, trying to appear proud.

Sora tapped the heel of his right foot on the ground in an anxious tempo, his eyes alight as he tried to contain his excitement. Beside him, Jolteon's spikes stood up, trying to look fierce.

After nearly ten minutes the announcement began, making some of the crowd scream in excitement. There were few trainers who had made a name for themseleves in the competition yet. Terra was the first obvious favorite thanks to his strength, Axel made a name for himself after that trick he played on Mr. Mime, Sora was remembered well from his very first battle's tragedy, and Roxas was recalled thanks to his Flareon taking the crowd's hearts.

And now they were all getting a real treat.

"This is it..." Roxas said softly, sounding disappointed.
"Here we go!" Sora said loudly, sounding ready to begin.

On the red side of the field a blond stepped out into the sun. On the green side, a brunette. They were nearly the same height, both had crazy spiked hair, wore plenty of belts and had the same stunning blue eyes. Beside one was a white wolf-like dog with a menacing tail and head ornament, red eyes glaring across the field at his opponent. Beside the other was a yellow fox with vicious looking needles of fur, violet eyes narrowed right back.

Roxas and Sora both met eyes briefly across the field, before their eyes roved their battle arena. Pillars of steel crisscrossed across the field like large metal trees, appearing like a construction sight gone wrong. The leaning beams of metal looked thick and solid, providing shelter from an attack just as much as it could dish out pain if a Pokemon slammed into it.

The trainers slowly approached their respected rings, leaving their partners to sit there before they walked around the bars of that circled their rings, each passing the little white flag of surrender that was propped at the edge in case the battle got too risky in the eyes of the trainer.

The two slowly started to walk down the prepared path split down the middle of the field eyes on each other once more as they paused only feet from one another.
"Sora." Roxas said coldly.
"Roxas." Sora smiled back.
"You can call it."
"Why thank you." Sora said before he glanced at the judge and nodded. "Tails!" The coin was flipped. It was tails.
"Tch, fuck." Roxas whispered, fingers curling at his sides. He started to turn to go back to his side of the field.
"Roxas?"
The blonde paused and looked back.
Sora smiled, holding out his hand. "Good luck... and let's have a good match eh?"
The younger slowly faced the other again, eyes narrowed in suspicion before he slowly raised his hand, clasping hands with the other. They shook once and the minute they broke the handshake they turned on their heels and walked back toward their sides, divided once more.


Terra wasn't really prepared for her enthusiasm nearly toppling over but he gladly didn't give a damn when her lips met his. He groaned against her lips softly as he tilted his head and kissed back. An arm curled around her waist, bringing her body flush against his own while another snaked behind her head and tangled in her blonde curls.

He opened his mouth and licked his tongue across her lips, easily being accepted. The wet muscle ran along hers, quickly coaxing it to dance with his own and he groaned again as their tongues rubbed together. This kiss, unlike any of their others was not sweet, cute or sensual. It was rough and passionate, intense yet perfect.

He was the one to break the kiss, panting hard against her lips. "W-Wow..." He whispered, a little stunned as he stared back into her blue eyes, their warm and moist breath mingled and fanning across their faces. He didn't wait much longer before he lent down again their lips meeting again in another kiss -

When something smacked into his back with almost whip-like force. He muffled a cry against Venita's lips as he lost his balance and fell both of them falling into the grass. Terra was quick to scramble off of her and sat on his knees by her side, looking down at her a little panicked. She seemed to be okay, though a little surprised.

He glanced back frowning. "Flygon!" The dragon fluttered it's wings to create a tune of innocence as he perched on the fountain his tail - the culprit - curling around his body safely. His eyes narrowed - why did his Pokemon find it thrilling to hurt him? - before looking back at her as she started to sit up herself.

"Heh," He chuckled softly. "Flygon must really like you. He's already acting jealous." He gave his dragon another glaring glance before turning back to his girlfriend. "Are you alright?"

Axel walked up to the usual spot that Sora had picked out. It was always the best one to see the overall view of the battle... and he wasn't kidding. They didn't miss anything in those seats!
"Ninetails..." The fox whimpered as she climbed the stairs after her master. "Yea... I don't like the fact that they have to fight each other either... but that's how it goes... I guess."

They reached the chairs and the tall redhead sat down, his rare fox jumping onto his lap and sitting down. He wrapped his arms around her as he peered through his glasses.

A smile appeared though as he saw the two walk out, the growing crowd around them cheering excitedly.
"TAILS!" The fox called out but Axel was sure it was drowned by the cried of the fans.
Everyone settled down when the brothers walked to the center stage and the announcer met them there.

Ninetails and Axel leaned in, trying to see what they were saying but it was no use.
However... when the announcer started to talk, a frown ran over the tattooed face. Sora had won the toss. That gave Roxas a bad start having to chose a pokemon first, giving Sora the upper hand in the first fight.
"Come on, Roxas..."


"Aaahhh...." She shivered into the kiss as she was suddenly taken by the tongue that had slipped through her mouth. It was stronger, harder and more needing than the first time she had felt it. Bright pigments showed in her cheeks as her dark blue eyes lidded and her fingers ran up Terra's spine.

A stream of saliva thinned from their tongues as the brunette pulled away, making her pant softly from the sudden intensity. Venita could only grin as she heard Terra's exclamation and melted into the next kiss. More shivers ran down her as their tongue battled, fingers clenching and... blood flowing.
Oh no....

"WAAH!!" She cried as the heavy brunette, all muscle weight of course, was topping on top of her. She fell on her butt and blinked, feeling the weight quickly get off. Blue eyes blinked as she looked around until she noticed Flygon and giggled. "What a silly Fly---"

"THERE YOU ARE!"
A cry came as a door opened... only to reveal Marly who didn't look very happy. He stomped over in his way to tight pants and frowned down at Venita. "You're almost ten minutes late! We can't start the show without you and your making all the guest wait!"
Venita's eyes grew wide, her inner self biting her tongue not to yell back at this asshole. She could only cover her mouth and looked shocked.

"Oh! I'm so sorry. I was just---"
"HURRY AND GET IN THERE!"

[Reno]

"And its two favorites, Roxas Holani versus Sora Holani!" Called the announcer. "Both from Prima Vista, the beach town paradise, it has been confirmed that these two are indeed siblings and twins at that! An unfortunate match up to be sure but the two both seemed determined not to back down. With Sora winning the coin toss this means Roxas will have to choose his first Pokemon! Hopefully that handshake indicated they will take this fight in good spirits!"

Sora frowned a little as he stepped back into his ring, looking down when Jolteon whimpered at him. He pet him on the head, "Don't worry, it'll be alright." He straightened, his hand going over his second Pokeball, already ready for Roxas' choice. He was merely guessing but he had a feeling it would be Zangoose.

He looked across the way at his brother, seeing those smoldering blue eyes glaring at him. And then suddenly, like blowing an air out of a balloon, all the tenseness went away and the look... disappeared. Something much more concerning took its place. Uncertainity. Resignation. Defeat.

"Ro-" He started to call but Roxas had already snapped up his pokeball and thrown it with a call of the name that sent a bolt of shock down Sora's spine. What...? Why?!

"Skarmory go!"
The metal bird appeared with a shrill cry. "Skaaaar!" Metal wings flared out and flapped powerfully before he stopped and perched on a pillar.

"And Skarmory is Roxas' first choice! This aggressive steel Pokemon of course is one of the best suited for this field and it's light body assist it in being able to fly at over 180 miles per hour! What will sora respond with?"

"Why...?" Sora asked softly, to the wind as he looked at his brother. Skarmory WAS a good choice... if it was against anyone but him. He had FOUR Pokemon that would have a deep advantage over the metal bird - that was why when he had been planning against who he would face, he automatically counted the steel bird out. On top of him, he also had crossed out Flareon because she would never fight a friend and Linoone who he had been exceptionally close to... especially after losing Furret. He knew... that Roxas would never disrespect those two by making them fight him...

The answer came to him just as suddenly as it boggled him, once he realized what the look on his brother's face was and what the ghost of a feeling was in his heart. Surrender. Roxas was trying to throw the fight! He thought he'd lose no matter what!

His hand fell from Raichu's Pokeball as anger flared in his heart and made his body tremble. "You think it's that easy huh?!" The only indication of Roxas hearing him was the jerk of his head and the slight widening of his eyes. "I'm not letting you get away with this Rox, so don't even try!"

He snatched up another Pokeball, kissing the top of it. "Do your best." He threw it. "Go Staraptor!"
Like he had been, Roxas looked stunned at his choice, having expected... well one he'd use to his obvious advantage. The starling spread her wings proudly to show off his feathers. "Raaaptor!" She trilled before she landed on another pillar, right across from Skarmory. The two birds glared at each other and the crowd broke out in noises of confusion and surprise. Many of them knew of Sora's arsenal of electric types and one fire-type...

If Ven was here he'd shudder at the true nightmare he would be seeing.

"And a surprising choice! Having not seen her since Sora's first battle, this solitary bird Staraptor is the final form of Starly! In her last battle she had proved to be a strong force against a Hariyama - but will it make a similar impact against Roxas' Skarmory?"

Roxas frowned some, looking towards the birds up on their perches, then back towards Sora. What was he doing... Why was he persisting in drawing out his humiliation? It was bad enough he would have to lose to his own damn twin - it was even worse he'd have to do in in front of a huge crowd - not to mention Axel! Why couldn't he just lose quickly and go hide in the hotel for the rest of his miserable stay here?

Sora glared across at his brother, before looking up. "Staraptor! Let's start things off with your Aerial Ace attack!" The bird looked at him, before nodding. She spread her wings before shotting off from the pillar. "Staaaar!!"
She shot forward, brilliant white streams of energy surronded her as she went straight towards the steel bird at a quick speed.

Skarmory stood there unshakably, waiting for his master to yell an order. He waited... and waited... and waited....
The bird started to shift nervously, a yellow eye darting to his trainer as Staraptor grew even closer and still nothing. "Mory?!"
Roxas' eyes had shut tightly, his fists shaking at his side in panic, sweat rolling from his forehead. He couldn't... He just... couldn't.
Absol blinked in worry and looked towards his trainer. "Sol!!"

Sora looked across as well, seeing the panicked look on his sibling's face. "Star, stop!"
"Rap!" Cried the bird, pulling out of the move with grace by swooping in the air in an artful loop before landing on the pillar right in front of the steel bird. She trilled softly to him.
Skarmory breathed a sigh of relief. "Skaaar..."
"I can't believe my eyes folks! It looked to me like Skarmory was about to take that Aerial Ace right on without any call from his trainer to avoid it and Roxas' own OPPONENT ended the attack to avoid hurting him!!"

Sora looked up at them, before he focused back on Roxas, his eyes narrowing with anger once more. "Roxas what are you doing?!"
The conflicted blue eyes opened to gaze at his brother and he shook his head, yelling back. "I can't... I can't do this Sora, I'm sorry!" He turned, walking to the edge of his ring and reaching out for the white flag.

"It looks like this is it folks! Roxas is going to throw in the towel!" Called the announcer. the judge was getting ready to raise his flag. The crowd groaned in disappointment. The two birds cried in denial. Absol growled, biting onto his jacket to stop him but Roxas was still in reaching distance as he stretched out his arm. Jolteon whined.
Sora shut his eyes and yelled, "ROXAS STOP!!"

The trembling fingers froze, centimeters from the flag's stick and Roxas looked towards him.
Identical blue eyes stared right back at him, the look in them fierce and confident but empathetic and worried. How could his brother hold so much emotion on his face?

The crowd around them was holding their breath in amazement and confusion, not wanting to miss a minute of what was going on down below. For once something had captivated them more than a battle.

"Am I going to have to get Jolteon over there to shock some sense into you?!" Sora raved, his fists pounded down on the railing in front of him. "I never thought you were a coward Roxas! Come on damn it FIGHT ME!"
The announcer's voice came through, a shocking loudness to the sudden silence. "In all my years here I've... never seen anything like this folks! Sora is actually trying to motivate his own opponent into the battle!"
Roxas grit his teeth, his arm falling to his side and Absol's teeth let go of his jacket. "Why should I bother Sora?! We all know whose going to win here!"

Sora shook his head as if to deny it, then said, "You act like the future is so set in stone! Even if I do win Roxas so what?! You shouldn't look at it as a sign of you being a failure but as a sign that you just have more to learn and should strive to get stronger until you CAN win against... against not just me but anyone!"

He frowned, looking towards the birds again. "We know it's a possibility that I could win - but you don't seem to realize you can too! You're a great trainer bro! You've got Pokemon who love you and are dedicated to fighting for you! You're quick on your feet and fierce and you're friends know that - that's why they try so hard for you! That's why your bonds are so strong!"

He pointed up towards Skarmory. "Mory is so loyal to you that he was about to take my Star's attack, just because you didn't order him to dodge!" His blue eyes narrowed, furious. "How can you dare dishonor that loyalty by just giving up?!" Roxas seemed to shift, looking uncomfortable suddenly and sad as he looked towards his sky-borne friend. The bird seemed to smile, accepting the silent apology he saw in Roxas' eyes.

Sora took a breath. "You have potential Roxas - you're one of the strongest people I know! I know, deep in my heart, that you're going to go far in life! But your problem is you don't try! You're so afraid to fail that you won't test the limits of what you can do! You're so certain I'm better you're too much of a damn COWARD to test the theory!" The blonde tried to look towards the ground but couldn't look away from his brother's fierce gaze. "Now you have two options Roxas. You can take that flag and give up before you even start or you can shove away your misconceptions of what you think the future is and realize that's not all it can be. Face your fears Roxas! Try!! I promise... you won't be doing it alone. I'm right here with you brother!"

The crowd, the announcer, the judge, Jolteon, Absol, Skarmory, Staraptor and Sora were all silent and looking towards Roxas, waiting for his answer. It was almost as if the world was holding it's breath.

Finally the blonde shifted, and sighed softly. He looked up at him, his face giving nothing away. There was another short silence, then slowly he looked towards Skarmory... and smiled. "You ready for this Skarmory?"
The bird flapped his wings and cried happily, glad to see his master back to normal. "SKAAAAR!" He sure was!
Roxas took his place back in the middle of the ring and looked across at Sora who had a wide, brilliant grin spread on his own lips. "Thank you... Sora."
"Anytime Roxas."
The two shared a nod, twin looks of determination gracing their features. No longer was the cold tension that had spread across the field like an ice storm. Nothing was left but the warmth of brotherhood and the heat of friendly competition.

The world exhaled and the crowd erupted into cheers. The announcer's voice came through, "And after that beautiful speech it seems Roxas is back in the game! I have a feeling this match will be like none this stadium has ever seen before!"

Sora grinned, and looked up. Well, now she was in range... "Alright Staraptor! Let's try again! Close Combat!"
"Dodge it!" Roxas called not a millisecond later.
A sharply taloned foot came swiping at the steel bird, but the other spread his wings and took off before the hawk could even touch him, taking to the sky at an incredible speed. "Use swift!" The steel bird wheeled in a loop and opened his mouth, energy in the shape of stars bursting from his mouth and raining towards the smaller bird.
"Get out of there!"
Staraptor hopped to about face and kicked off from the pillar and flew away quickly, the swift attack hitting the tops of the beams harmlessly behind her. The crowd was going wild.


Well if she could giggle she had to be alright, right? He smiled some looking towards her fondly, seeing the way her eyes were shining and the wide smile on her face. somehow she seemed... so much more free than before. Like that little flight in the sky had shown her a world she had once thought she could never fit in before...

A yell interrupted his thoughts and made his head jerk around. His eyebrows furrowed as the weird gay pink-haired man stomped over and glared down at HIS girl like he fucking owned her or something. His fingers curled into fists at his sides... but when he cut her off when she was trying to explain why she was late, rage burst in his stomach.

That was IT!

"Listen here you fucking pink psycho freak!" Terra growled as he stood up and cut his way in-between Venita and the man, as if to shield her. He grabbed the man by his collar and yanked him off his feet so they were eye level. "Where are your fucking manners huh? Is that how you were taught to speak to a lady, huh?!" HE felt the ground thump under his feet, knowing Flygon had landed close by. the dragon was indeed beside the blonde girl, glaring at the man as well while his tail wrapped around Venita like he was trying to comfort her.

He gave the other a shake and scoffed. "You should be HAPPY you even have a girl like her in this pathetic excuse you call a contest! She just fucking lights up the whole damn gray affair! I should know I had to watch it!" His eyes narrowed and he growled. "Now you better fucking consider apologizing for your rude behavior to her, or I fucking swear I'll mess up that pretty face of yours by giving you a black eye!"

Axel watched closely, trying to recognize what pokemon the blonde would choose first as his fingers reached fore his belt. "Damnit... Ninetails, remind me to get some binoculars." He grunted as his eyes narrowed more as if it was going to help him see.
"Tails." She rolled her eyes, some of her tails swooshing in the breeze.

Before he could even guess, Skarmony was called out and perched on a beam.
"Skarmony...?" Axel asked himself in shock. Why... why did he pick the metal bird!? Even he knew that Sora had a few pokemon on his own belt that could take the bird down without much battling.
"WHAT!? No way!" He gasped along with the people around him as Staraptor was chosen, seeing her fly not to far away.

This was going to be a long fight...

The first move was called and everyone was on the edge of their seat, seeing the glow of the attacking bird after the other.
Axel quickly saw the problem. Roxas wasn't calling any orders! "TAILS!"
Seemed like Ninetails saw the problem too. The redhead's heart raced as his exotic eyes widened. Come on Roxas... you're not going to---
The crowd gasped, seeing the the attack being... stopped?

"What's....going on?" Why was Roxas doing this!?
His shock only heightened as he saw the blonde walk to the flag.
"ROXAS! ROXAS DON'T DO IT!" He called out.
"NIIIIIIINE!" The fox echoed as she whimpered.

That was when the speech started and Axel sighed, leaning back into his chair. The fox looked back at him, worried.
"I can save Pokemon but... I guess I can't save people..."
Ninetails cocked her head but looked back at the fight as Roxas started to speak. He was going to continue!
"Tails! Nine!" She barked happily as her tails wagged all in Axel's face.


The hair stood up on the back of Venita's neck as she was hollered at. HOLD ON A FUCKING SECOND! WHO THE HELL DOES THIS ASS--- Her eyes widened as she saw Terra shoot up and in front of her... now grabbing and PULLING Marly up off the ground.
Holy shit...
She quickly got up and backed away slightly before she bumped into something.

A tail.

She blinked, looking up and smiling at the Flygon who had wrapped his tail around her before looking at the two....men.

"WAA!" The rose haired man called as he was pulled up off his feet and dangled in the air. His blue eyes looked down into the fierce ones and growled at the threat. He suddenly pulled away and stumbled as his feet met the ground again, fumbling over slightly but caught his balance none the less.

"Who do YOU think you are addressing me like that?" A more wicked look came over the man's face, his flamboyant nature escaping him before he glanced at Venita. "I've had about enough of you two... so let's end it here. Let's have a Pokemon battle! If I win, you two leave this building at once and Venita or YOU will be allowed to come anywhere NEAR a cute contest again. If you win.... then Venita will get her award."

"Award?" The cute girl chipped in.
"Correct. The judges, including myself have already decided on the winners last night... and we can't start the show without our winner, now can we?"
"What!? Hey wait!" She called as she was about to rush him but Flygon held her back.
"Too late! This battle will decided your award now!" Marly called as he picked a pokeball from his belt.

"Seeing that my Bunchies is infatuated with that stupid hound, I choose you, Harlequin!"
A light shown out, revealing a Masquerain.
"Rain, rain!" The cute..........little pokemon called.

You've got to be fucking kidding ME!

The girl growled and reached for her pokeballs that were on a cute, shiny black belt and flung her choice out just as Terra did. She was going to fight too!
"Go Mareep!"
The yellow wool pokemon appeared, his blue face looking up at the bug.
"Mareeeeeeeeeeeeeeep!" He bleated.

[Reno]

"It seems this battle will not end quickly! Both close combat and swift missed their marks by a long-shot! This is a true bird-trainer battle! "

Roxas and Sora watched their birds in their flight, and Sora's eyes narrowed in surprise as Skarmory took after his starling, his streamlined body actually making him faster than his bird. He hadn't seen many keep up with his Star (he knew this because she won plenty of the races)... but Skarmory were naturally fast where he had to train with her.

"Watch out! He's coming up behind you!!" Sora said as he met eyes with his bird and smiled secretively.
Roxas grit his teeth, unsure what Sora was planning but smirked as he noticed Skarmory was making up the distance quickly. He smirked. Sora couldn't get her away now! "Air Slash!"
"Skaaar!" The metal birds eyes and wings glowed blue and he gave a mighty flap, slices of bluish-white energy coming from his wingtips and slicing through the air with a mighty force. The attack was making a vicious whistle.
Sora didn't even flinch. "Correct with Aerial Ace!" Staraptor thrilled, flapping her wings and curved upward quickly, the blue and white slashes hitting the pillars she had been soaring over. She curved again in a graceful loop and dived down suddenly her speed increased nearly double what it had been.

"Watch out!" Roxas cried in shock but it was too late.
Staraptor collided into Skarmory's back and the silver bird cried, "Mooorry!" The steel flyer fell towards the pillars but he flapped his wings and used his claws to catch himself on them, bouncing a few times before he took back into the air, wheeling around to face the bird.
"Crap." Roxas hissed angrily but he really shouldn't of been surprised. He knew Sora's Pokemon were fast - but even faster than Skarmory? He just had to wait for an opportunity...
"Oh and it looks like Air slash missed but Staraptor's Aerial Ace didn't! With the extra speed of that dive, Staraptor was able to make up the gross difference of her speed with Skarmory's! An excellent strategy, but it doesn't seem like it did much damage! "

He looked across the way towards his brother, meeting his eyes, then they turned their eyes back to the fight.
"Steel wing!" Both brothers cried at once.
Skarmory and Staraptor's wings glowed white and they charged forward at the same time, their wings clashing together with a sound similar to two swords meeting. Their iron-like wings slipped off of each other before they both wheeled around and clashed again and again and again as if it was a fencing match they were having and not a Pokemon battle.
"Unbelievable! Staraptor and Skarmory are matching each other move for move!"


Terra scoffed as the girly man squirmed from his grasp but at his haughty tone he had half a mind to grab the other and punch him anyways as he held Venita's well-deserved award over her head. Jackass...

He held his temper however when the other said the word 'battle'. And he smirked confidently. Was he fucking kidding? This guy wasn;t watching the platinum conference was he? "You have no fucking clue what you just got yourself into." Terra said with a smirk as he reached for a Pokeball and threw it.

In a brilliant white light, a large Pokemon appeared. "Raaaampardos!" He was like a dinosaur, his body a stunning dark gray with horns sticking out all over his body and a shiny dark blue cranium. His tail hit against the ground and made it shake as he looked on at his little opponent with dark red eyes.

However he was surprised, as was Terra, when Venita threw out a Pokeball as well. Terra looked at the sheep and tried not to snicker - though he knew it was an electric type and would do well against the little shame of a Pokemon Marluxia had picked. "Of course.. if you want to battle for your own award..." Terra said his demeanor changed to something way more kind then the tough brunette seemed capable of. At least he was willing to let her do this on her own, right?

"Or..." He said, and smirked at Marluxia, almost taunting him. "If you have another Pokemon go ahead and bring it out and we'll make it a two on two."

[Rikugurl]

Axel continued to watch the battle, his eyes watching every move and hearing them being called out. Both birds were fast so it was a bit hard to keep up, especially since Staraptor was almost half the size smaller than the metal bird.

"Come on!" He called, rooting for both fighters but just as he did so, he noticed the Skarmony wasn't quick enough to avoid an attack. "Ouch..." The red head winced as the small bird smashed into the metal. She must of hurt from that as well.
Ninetails could only whimper at the sound of the clash.

But they both seemed fine!

His eyes widened when he heard both twins call out the same attack... and it was on! "Whoa!"
Their attacks were counter fitting perfectly, as if they were in a sword fight! The crowd around him went wild while Axel just smiled. This was going to be interesting.


Marly frowned as he saw not one but TWO pokemon staring his Harlequin down. With a growl, he knew if anyone say this, HE would be kicked out of the judge panel for not battling by the rules.

He was a bit shocked when the brunette offered Venita to battle him. A cute girl such as that wouldn't know how to battle well... but that that TAUNT... he couldn't stand it.
"Alright! You asked for it!"
He reached down to his belt, grabbing another poke ball before tossing it out.

"Go Ness!" He called as another pokemon energized into being. This time it was a Forretress.
"Forretress!"

Venita's Mareep whimpered and backed away as he looked up at the Masquerain. He backed into Venita's legs and looked up at his master. "Mareeeeeep!" He bleated again.
The blue eyes blinked, looking down at Mareep and then at the bug pokemon.
Oh...
"Hehehehe, don't be scared." She knelt down and pet the sheep softly. "Those are just the patterns in her wings. They're not eyes! Don't be scare!"

The sheep smiled, not use to this kind of affection before he looking back at the bug. Just... patterns? They really looked like scary eyes but... then he caught the real eyes of the bug and jumped from Ven's hold, standing next to the rock pokemon with confidence. "Mareeeeep!"

[Reno]

Sora and Roxas eyes were intent on the battle above, not taking their eyes off their companions for even a second though it was hard with them moving so fast. They clashed a few more times, when Sora noticed as Staraptor wheeled around her flight becoming uncertain as if she was taking damage.

He growled softly - of course. Skarmory WAS a steel Pokemon so his steel wing attack would be stronger than hers. "Star, pull up!" He called as the two charged for each other again.

"Staaaaar!" She trilled and suddenly dived upwards.
"Mory!" Skarmory cried in surprise, flapping his wings. The glow of the steel wing disappeared on both their wings. Skarmory's were scratched and scuffed up and Staraptor's feathers were ruffled and messy.

"Do it Star! Brave Bird!!" Sora called.
"Jolte!"
"Staaaaaar!" The bird sang as continued to fly higher and higher. She she soared into a turn flames began to encase her body and she started to dive.
"And Sora is trying a new tactic as his Staraptor takes to the sky and comes back at an incredible speed with brave bird!"

"Skarmory used swift! Hurry!" Roxas called.
"Absol!" The white dog growled next to Roxas.
Skarmory opened his mouth and the golden energy stars flew up towards the diving bird. "Skaaar!" They hit the flames and disappated into nothing. The bird was surprised.
"What?!" Roxas snapped.
"Sol!"

"Nice try but you're not getting out of this! Do it Star!" Sora crowed in victory.
"RAPTOR!" The bird cried as the flames fell away, revealing a beautiful blue aura that spanned out too far to dodge.
"Flash cannon!"

As the hawk came down, nearly reaching the other, the steel bird opened his mouth and a stream of white energy was released. There was an explosion that rocked the skies and hid the birds from sight as the blue and white colors exploded and made a twister.

Sora yelped and covered his head as the twister caused the sand on the ground to rise up and fling around. He heard a bird like screech. "Star!"
Roxas grunted as the winds whipped his clothes and he squinted against the sand blowing in his face. He heard a metallic cry. "Skarmory!!"

"Oh and that combination of Brave Bird and flash cannon seems to of made an explosion of wind hiding the two birds from sight! But once the twister clears will the two still be standing, or will this be it for the first round?" The announcer called.

There were a tense few moments as the twister started to dissipate and the dust and smoke the explosion had created started to slowly settle. When it started to clear enough for people to see, the two trainers started to search in the air restlessly seeing no sight of either bird.

"Star!?" Sora cried in panic. A noise drew his attention towards the right.
"Skarmory!!" Roxas was yelling at the other end.

There was a pause, the announcer wondering aloud if the twister blew the two birds right out of the stadium, when a loud metal cry sounded and out from between two crisscrossed beams, having used his strong metal claws to perch there during the twister, and was camouflaged by the similar coloring. Roxas sighed in relief.
Skarmory smirked, as he saw the smaller bird no where in sight. "Mooory!" He cried, swooping around in an odd pattern that was obviously a flight of victory.
"Skamory seems to of come out of the attack just fine! But where is Staraptor?"

Roxas rolled his eyes than looked towards Sora, who was watching Skarmory quietly. "Well guess that's it!"
"You think so?" Sora called suddenly. "Star, show him what your made of!"
"What?!"
Skarmory was just flying over a jumble of steel pillars that met at the ends in a roof-top like pattern, when suddenly something brown flew from the mouth of the mess as if it was some sort of birdhouse.
"Skar!" Skamory yelled as the bird flew towards him.
"Steel wing!" Roxas called.
"Grab his wings and bring him down!!"

Skarmory's wings started to glow but it was no use. Staraptor twisted around the metal bird until her was flying above him. Her large claws gripped onto the edges of the metal bird's hindering his flight ability. Suddenly she started to dive straight for the ground managing to drag it down towards the ground.
"Oh and Staraptor's disappearance appeared to be only a ruse! Now, using it's powerful claws and formidable strength, she has Skarmory trapped! This might be it folks!"
"Skaaar!" Skarmory cried in panic as the ground came close. He tried to flap his wings and break free but the other bird's grip was surprisingly strong and impossible to break.
"Skarmory no!" Roxas cried. "Get free!!"
"Throw him!" Sora called, pumping a fist in the air.
Roxas watched with dim hope as his bird and Sora's dived for the ground. What could he... wait. "Use Air Slash towards the ground!"
Skarmory's eyes opened at the order and his wings glowed blue, slashes hitting into the dirt so dust arose.

At the same moment, Staraptor let Skarmory go and he disappeared in the dust while she pulled up, and flew above the pillars. Their was a loud noise as the heavy bird impacted with the ground. Sora just smiled, waiting for the dust to clear. This was over.

"Flash Cannon!" Roxas yelled, taking his twin off guard.
From the dust a blast white light shot up and towards Staraptor.
"Staaar!" Cried the bird as the attack smacked into her left wing. She fell from the sky in a spiral and hit the ground, spirals in her eyes.
"Star!" Sora cried in shock and surprise. Just then Skarmory burst from the dust and fluttered up towards one of the pillars, smirking. Sora frowned a little but sighed, returning the bird. He smiled then kissing the top of the Pokeball. "Great job Star, you did awesome."

"Staraptor is unable to battle this round goes to Skarmory and Roxas!"
"Alright!" Roxas cried happily, doing a very happy dance. Beside him Absol look pleased and Skarmory seemed to laugh, flapping his wings.
"And what a surprise!" The announcer said over the cheers of the crowd. "That air slash acted like a cushion and halved the damage Skarmory must of taken from that impact, enough so that he was able to fight back with that flash cannon attack! Now that Sora is down one Pokemon, what will he choose next to battle his brother?"

Sora grinned as he looked up, over towards Roxas and laughed at his victory dance. It was good, seeing his brother so cheered by a win. He looked happier than if he had won the whole damn tournament! "Hey this is just started!"
Roxas stopped dancing but he grinned. "Well then bring it on. I can take anything you've got!"
The brunette laughed. "Anything?" He took off the belt and enlarged it, holding it against his heart. "You hear that? We're gonna prove him wrong." He threw it. "Let's go, Raichu!"

The orange mouse appeared in a burst of white light already on all fours and ready to charge forward. "Rai Rai!" His eyes narrowed determinedly and he grinned up at the steel bird who didn't seem worried at all by something he'd consider prey. No wonder this mouse line was electric Pokemon...
Unlike his bird, Roxas was more apprehensive, looking towards the mouse. He wasn't surprised to see him - he was one of Sora's favorites to use in battle. He knew a lot about Raichu having know him since Sora had first caught him as a Pichu. The mouse was highly determined and had a lot of stamina and speed. He and Sora worked together almost as if they were one person half the time. He was going to be harder to beat.

"And Sora's second choice is Raichu! We saw this mouse in his first battle as well and it had made an electrifying performance against a natural enemy Seviper, through a very interesting whistle technique! Now having the advantage, will Sora and Raichu be able to make a comeback?"


Terra snorted at the second choice, rolling his eyes. What the fuck was this? A fucking weak Pokemon intervention? Venita's Spinda could take these losers down just by doing a fucking dance around them!

He blinked at the Mareep started to shy away and he glanced back at it, seeing it's scared look. Er... maybe this wouldn't be so simple. His eyebrows furrowed at her words confused - eyes? He'd have to ask her about later. Whatever it meant, Mareep seemed more confidant as she stood back next to her partner.

He smiled at Venita then nodded. "Alright then. Ramparados and Mareep versus Harlequin and Ness." He said in a taunting tone. Behind him he heard a musical flutter and Flygon took to the sky before landing on the edge of the building, getting a good view from up there.

Ramparados blinked as he realized he had a teammate and he looked down at the sheep. "Raaaa?"
"She's your partner." Terra explained shaking his head.
The Pokemon sweat-dropped and glanced back at his trainer. "Dos..."
"Get over it and just fight! And try not to kill anything."
The large dinosaur rolled his eyes and sighed. "Pardos!" He looked towards the two very small opponents and huffed. Couldn't he just eat them all?

Terra tapped his foot then frowned, thinking through his Pokemon's attacks. Well... He glanced at Venita and smiled. "I'll take care of the clam if you want the butterfly?"

[Rikugurl]

"Ninetails..." The fox lowered her head as her eyes narrowed at the fight.
"What is it?" The redhead had to ask as he saw the worried look on the fire fox's face. He looked at what she was, seeing Staraptor weaken a bit. "Oh..." He understood as well. Steel Wing was obviously going to be a more powerful attack for Skarmony seeing that he's a steel type and all... and Sora knew it too.

The two looked up, seeing the bird fly away from the imposing danger...only to come back again. The crowd around him gasped, seeing that Skarmony's attach did nothing to the other pokemon was she came down. "Come on Roxas..." The redhead clenched Ninetail's fur in hopes that---

"WHOA!" He cried as he and the rest of the crowd had to cover their eyes from the explosion. "What was that!?"
Luckily, they had the announcer to tell them. His narrow eyes had to narrow down even more as he tried to look for either bird... but all he could hear were their calls in the wind.
"Ninetails!" The fox called happily as she saw the red 'feathers' of the steel bird.

However, the surprise attack caught everyone off guard.
Both Axel and Ninetails leaned in as they saw the birds heading towards the ground. Maybe... Skarmony would be ok due to being...steel?
The loud noise made him wince though as he heard the bird slam into the ground. Sure he couldn't SEE it, but he could definitely HEAR it.

A sudden light shot out, making his push his glasses up his nose once more to see--- "Ouch!" He winced as he saw it clip Starapors wing... and she was down.
"ALRIGHT ROXAS!" He clapped, seeing that the smaller bird was indeed alright as she was pulled in by Sora.
However, his cheer faded as he saw the new Pokemon on Sora's side. Raichu. This wouldn't be good for Skarmony.


The blonde girl looked up at Terra and nodded with determination in her face before looking over at Marly. "Sounds good!" She chimed.

"Alright my dears, take down the ugly one first!" The rose haired man called as he pointed at Rampardos, seeing how angry it looked being called ugly.
"Harlequin, use Bubble and Ness, use Bide!"
The Forretress growled before lowering it's head. "FORRETRESS!" He called as he grew red, bracing itself for an attack

Meanwhile, the small bug opened her mouth and a stream of bubbles shot out towards Rampardos. As silly as it looked, Venita knew it was Rampardos'd weakness and would still hurt. She growled but took her stance. "Mareep! Stop those bubbles and blow them back using Discharge!"
"Mareeeep!" The little sheep called as she quickly got in front of the larger pokemon, narrowing his eyes as he saw the bubbles coming quickly. "MAREEEEEEEEEEP!" He let out a big blow, making the bubbles quickly change course.

His wool suddenly started to spark with electricity before he bleated once more, letting out a powerful electric current that shocked each of the bubbles. With the charge of electric in them, the bubbles hit the bug back and shocked her badly.
"Masqueraaaaaaaaain!" The bug fluttered as it cried, quickly falling to the ground with swirls in her eyes.

[Reno]

Roxas huffed, not about to be undone. "Skarmory!" He called with an agitated throw of his arm. He had to attack first before Sora did! "Use swift!"

"Skar!" the bird said, opening his mouth and the stars flew again.
Sora smiled calmly, crossing his arms. "Raichu slice through that swift with iron tail!"
"Rai!" The mouse said, his long tail glowing white and he turned flicking his tail through the stars easily, as if he was a horse flicking away flies.
"Unbelievable! Raichu cutting through the swift attack with a powerful iron tail like it's nothing more than blades of grass!" Called the announcer.

Roxas grit his teeth angrily, cursing under his breath. Damn, stupid Sora and his stupid-
"Agility! Grab onto Skarmory!"
Roxas snapped out of it then, seeing Raichu suddenly speed down the tail and rush UP the pillar towards his Pokemon and reacted instantly. "Don't let him, get into the air!!!" He could hide him in the pillars maybe...

Skarmory's wings flared out and he quickly took off into the sky too high now for Raichu to grab onto.
"Raichu use your tail!" The teen across the arena called.
...What? Roxas's eyebrows furrowed, perplexed. His tail...? What was Sora...?
He didn't have these questions for long though as his eyes widened in horror and shock. "No way!"

Raichu reached the top of the pillar with ease and, listening to his master, curled his tail up under him. He braced himself and with the momentum from the agility and the power from his strong legs he jumped into the air. His tail flung out and smacked the pillar giving him an extra boost sailing through the air... and right up to Skarmory. The crowd gasped in surprise.
"Mory!!!" Cried the bird when suddenly something grabbed onto his leg and messed with his flight pattern. He looked down, crying angrily and trying to fly higher... but with the extra weight of the mouse there was no where he could escape too.
"Do it Rai!"
Everyone knew what was coming.
"Raaaai CHUUUUUUUUUU!" Cried the mouse orange lightning sparking from his cheeks.
"SKAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!" Cried the bird before falling from the sky. There was a beam of red light as Roxas recalled him before he could hit the ground. Raichu flipped in the air and landed on a pillar smirking proudly.

"Amazing! What a jump ladies and gentleman! With the added strength of only his tail Raichu was able to leap nearly twenty feet into the air to deliver that devastating blow! Now Sora and Roxas are even once more with Raichu still charged and ready to go!!"
Roxas sighed looking down at the Pokeball, surprised how fast it had ended. He hadn't even worn Raichu in the slightest! "You did great Skarmory." He looked up towards his sibling.
"Whoo I knew you could do it Rai!" Sora was bouncing in his ring with a grin. Beside him Jolteon was yipping happily.
"Not bad Sora!" Roxas said with a smirk, cutting into his brother;s victory... whatever it was, as he reached for another ball. "But your lucks run out." He threw the ball. "Let's go Glameow!"

In a flash of white light a gray cat appeared, her tail swirled up like a spring a little fluff at the tip shaped like balled up cotton or a cloud. She smirked arrogantly up at the mouse, flicking her white tipped ears. "Merrrrrrrrow." She called, a definite purr in her voice.

"And an interesting choice! Roxas's second Pokemon is Glameow! Normally a domesticated Pokemon, this cat if often very proud and territorial. They are also known for their great speed but will Glameow be able to keep up with Raichu and his speedy attacks?"


Terra blinked as the battle began, raising an eyebrow at the attacks. He rolled his eyes, doubted a weak bubble and bide attack would do anything to their Pokemon - but he was surprised when Ven came to his Rampardos' rescue and couldn't help but smile at her.

Rampardos blinked and glanced down as the sheep stood in front of him and glanced back at his master. since when did he need protection. "Dos?" but his master wasn't paying any attention - he was too busy giving love-struck eyes to the girl next to him. What the...?

There was a shock and a cry and the weird moth-insect was down.

"Flllly!" Flygon cheered happily fluttering his wings almost in a victory song.

Terra grinned clapping for Ven. "Good job."
"Raaaa!" Cried his Pokemon as bide continued to work on Ness.
"Oh right..." Terra said sheepishly. "Get rid of the clam."
The dinosaur scoffed and lent over picking up the Mareep and moving her to the side and back in front of her trainer so he wouldn't trample her before moving forward. he looked down at the clam, hearing it make a small noise of panic.
"Hit it in the air."
The Pachycephalosaurus nodded and turned his body. His power tail swung out and caught the underside of Forrestess into the air easily going higher than the buildings.

Flygon blinked his head slowly tilting up as the clam flew past him, before it turned down as he started falling right back down thanks to gravity. When the clam came back to his level, Rampardos gave it a headbutt. The clam went sailing and smacked into Marluxia, knocking him over.

[Rikugurl]

Even with high hopes for Roxas, he knew this battle would end soon. He shook his head and sighed softly as he saw how quick the Raichu was going up that pillar. He was... kinda glad that he didn't have to battle that Raichu... at least not yet...hopefully not ever. With that speed, it would be hard to match. Rapidash might be able to do the job...

He shook his head as the crowd gasped and he looked down, seeing the mouse FLY through the air. It caught onto the bird and Axel covered his face with his hand, knowing what would happen next.
"Raaaai CHUUUUUUUUUU!!"
Yep.
"Tails..." The fox winced as she watched, seeing the bird fall but get called back. Now it was two on two.

The hand was moved away so the redhead could see what Roxas's next choice would be... and never expected....
"Glameow!?" He called in question. Would she... be fast enough?


The blonde girl blinked and blushed, looking away. "Thanks!" She blinked though when she heard the Rampardos. She looked over, seeing Mareep being placed in front of him when Terra gave him an order.
"Great job, Mareep!" The girl giggled.
"Mareep!" The sheep smiled before all of a sudden there was a huge WHACK and everyone looked up to see the poor clam shoot into the sky.

"Harlequin, come back!" The man frantically cried as the moth was brought back into a heal ball. He quickly looked up, seeing his non-flying type.....FLY!?
"FORRETRESS!!! TAT"
The bagworm fell back down, rolling around the best he he could. "For---TREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESS!!" The man yelped as his Pokemon was suddenly coming towards him. He was able to catch it but.... fell right over from the speed.

There was silence before... hysterical laughing came from the little girl.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!" She held her stomach as she leaned over, pointing at the pathetic trainer.
"Mareeeeep! Mareeeeeeep!" The sheep laughed with him as he stomped one of his front hoof into the ground.

"Forre.....tress....." The steel pokemon had swirls in his eyes as Marly got up and growled at the laughter. "Shut up, you twits!" He called Forretress back into a heal ball as well as he grabbed two more Poke balls, sending them out.
"You won't be laughing now! Sweep and Rose, GO!"
The balls sent out energy and the first pokemon appeared. A Roserade.
"ROSERADE!" She growled as she looked at the two. Even with her small size, she looked quite fierce.

Next had to be Sweep. An...
"AEEEROOOOOOOOO!"
"Aerodactyl!?" Venita cried as her dress was whipped around from the power of it's wings.

Well... Aerodactyl would be weak to electric but... he didn't think Mareep would have the strength to take down this huge beast...

"Rose, use Razor Leaf on Rampardos!"
"ROSERADE!" The small bouquet Pokemon jumped and flipped in the air, making leaves fly around only to shoot at the dinosaur. They flew fast and powerful, cutting into the thick skin.

[Reno]

Blue eyes met across the field, competitive once more. The crowd around them calmed down some, excited to see the outcome of the battle before them. At once attacks were called.
"IRON TAIL!" They both yelled.

Raichu jumped down from the pillar, lightning tail glowing white and Glameow gave a leap from the ground her own springy tail also white. The cat flipped while Raichu spun and their tails clashed with a powerful clang, electricity sparking some between them the two growling at each other.

The connection was broken, both jumping away from the attack. Glameow gave a growl as she slid along the ground before stopping. "Merow!"
Raichu landed on the ground and turned in a small semi-circle to face the cat. His eyes narrowed. "Raaai...."
"Thunder!" The twins yelled. Sora blinked in surprise.

Raichu's cheeks sparked. "Raaaaai CHUUUUUUU"
"GLAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMEROW!" Cried the cat.
Orange and blue electricity met across the field crackling and popping like fireworks and looking just about as beautiful. Once the two attacks had fizzled the cat and mouse growled more at one another.

"And this is a real twin connection folks! Roxas and Sora are yelling out the same attacks to nullify each their Pokemon's powers at the same exact time! But someone has to get the upper hand eventually!"

Sora blinked slowly then smiled in understanding. Raichu... couldn't hit Glameow from afar with electricity now. He was drawing this into a close combat battle - classic cat and mouse. "I didn't know you taught her that attack. No wonder you chose her..."
Roxas grinned from the other side, glad his brother had missed his first battle when he had used her on the field. Now he had the element of surprise. "And that's not all I taught her Sora! Glameow, use Assist!" He saw his brother's body jerk in shock.
"Assist! what a decision - now Glameow will randomly choose any of Roxas' five other pokemon's attacks!"

The cat grinned and charged suddenly, her claws glistening with purple and black energy. He jumped towards the mouse, claws slicing towards him.
"Raichu watch it!"
The mouse coiled in surprise and jumped to the left, wincing when the claws bit into his back leg and he went tumbling towards a pillar. His lightning tail struck out and caught the metal beam before he could crash into it, saving him from the extra harm. He quickly rolled back onto his feet.
"And that appeared to be Zangoose's Shadow Claw folks! It made it hit but Raichu isn't down yet!"
"Slash!!" Roxas called.
Glameow growled and jumped towards the mouse her claws extended.
the eldest of the twin's eyes narrowed. "Get outta there! Agility!!"

Raichu sped off Glameow's attack missing this time. And unfortunately for her, her trainer had forgotten to take the landscape into account. Sora had not. She went smacking headfirst into the pillar Raichu had only moments ago stopped himself from hitting. The cat stumbled back dizzily, shaking her head.
"Oh and a missed attack has Glameow hitting hard into metal as Raichu avoids the attack! It appears this cat isn't as graceful as her opponent."


Rampardos smirked at the trainer tossing his head and chuckling deeply. As laughter echoed around him he seemed to look proud about it. Up above Flygon's wings were buzzing teasingly. Terra couldn't help but burst into laughter as well as Marluxia fell over from the force of his own Pokemon's attack, shaking his head. Well that took care of that. The battle was already over and no one was hurt. He looked towards his battling partner smiling at how happy she was.

He knew this was going to be a waste of ti-

He snapped back to attention, eyes narrowing on Marluxia at his insult. How dare he call Venita a twit! Flygon growled from above and even Rampardos seemed somewhat annoyed. But no one was prepared for the battle to continue... or his choices.

The Roserade wasn't a surprise since the idiot smelled like fucking flowers and his clothes were decorated with roses. It was the second beast that made Terra tense. "What the fuck?!" What was a cheap idiot like this doing with an Aerodactyl?! Rampardos looked up towards it, growling at the other rock-type competitively.

On his perch Flygon whined hopping from foot to foot, wings fluttering nervously. He'd never seen one of those in real life before, only pictures. He and his master had never encountered such a beast.

Everyone was so distracted by the appearance of the beast that SHOULD of been extinct, Marluxia took advantage of the pause and had his Roserade attack.
"Raaaaaa!" Rampados cried in pain as he was hit by the razor leaf cuts appeared over his body. His red eyes snapped open, catching sight of the flower Pokemon, rage in his eyes.
Terra snapped out of it when he heard his Pokemon's cry and his eyes narrowed furiously. "Oh you fucker!" No more fucking mercy! "Rampardos fucking kill that damn thing with focus blast now!"
The dinosaur snarled and opened his mouth a ball of blue-white energy forming. Once it had completely formed he snapped his mouth closed and gave it a smack with his head, the powerful energy smacking into the grass-type.

Axel rose an eyebrow as he heard the same attack being called. Well, that was the second time.
The two watched the pokemon down below race after each other and attacked at the same time. Sparks flew through the air as they pushed off. Well, that didn't seem to work...

His eyes widened when he heard the next attacks... being said at the same time.
"Well.... I found it hard to believe that they were twins... but I guess this just proves it."
"Ninetails." The fox nodded in agreement.

That also didn't seem to work... but the Assist move did spark the redhead's interest. Now THAT was exciting!
"YEA GLAMEOW!" He called down, seeing the cat race off with glowing paws. "That must be Zangoose's!" Axel smiled, even more when he heard it was right.

With the new attack called, the green eyes watched the mouse run away from the cat, having to chuckle from the scenario. However, another wince came from his mouth as he saw the cat smack right into a pillar. Raichu still had the speed...


Venita swallowed as she saw the Pokemon flying through the air. Where... the hell did he get that from!?

"Rose, dodge the attack!" The man called furiously but it was too late.
"RAAAAADE!" The grass pokemon flew through the air as the dinosaur hit her.
"Pull out!"
With a graceful flip, the Roserade landed on her feet. It seemed like the attack wasn't very effective...

"Use Giga Drain now!"
"ROSERADE!" The grass pokemon dashed towards and then around the dinosaur, making his bulky features slow him down to attack.
As she ran around him, she passed close to Venita and those roses---

"AAAAAAAAAACHO!" The girl sneezed, her face becoming bright red. "AAACHOOOO!" She sneezed again as some tears ran down her eyes. Shit! He was allergic to roses! He didn't think a part of a Pokemon would make his nose freak out!
"RADE!" The grass pokemon started to suck the life force out of the larger one, taking in some for herself t make up the blow from before.

"AACHOOO!" More tears ran down her face, making her make-up run and her nose to leak. She tried to sniff it up and cover her nose, not even realizing the danger ahead...

"SWEEP! USE EARTH POWER ON MAREEP!"
"AAAEEROOOOOOOO!" The flying dinosaur started to soar back down to earth, heading right for the small sheep.
"MAREEEEP!" The yellow sheep bleated, his blue face looking back at Ven but he seemed not to of heard... over his sneezing!
"AAAAAERRROOOOO!" The Aerodactyl stopped and beat it's wings towards the ground, making the wind pick up around the sheep before a sudden explosion came from UNDER him, making him shoot up in pain. "REEEEEEEEEEEP!"

He landed harshly on the ground a bit away, hearing his master sneezing in the background. "Ma....reeeep...."

"UGH!" The girl cried as her nose and eyes continued to distract her unwillingly. "GO AWAY!" She suddenly yelled and KICKED the Roserade hard, making her fly through the air.
She sniffled one last time before a huge noise and the ground shaking made her look up, only seeing hungry eyes looking down at her above an extended jaw.
"AAAAAAAAAAEEEEEEEEROOOOOOOOOOO!" The dinosaur roared at the girl, making her hair and dress whip around as he stomped towards her.

"Sweep!? What are you doing!?" The man called as he watched his pokemon head toward the girl who seemed to be frozen from shock.

Raichu seemed to chuckle at Glameow's mishap, tail waving behind him happily, taunting his natural enemy. "Raaaaai~" Some in the crowd were laughing at the almost comical move the cat had made. They were usually known for such grace.
Glameow growled her eyes zeroing in on him again. "Glaaaa!"

Roxas frowned unhappily, not having liked being outdone like that. He had to be careful in this field - how could he forget that? At Raichu's display he growled. "That's it! Glameow, use assist again!"

Sora looked up, hearing the call of the attack and cursed unhappily. He hated the randomness of it. He had no way to predict what would happen and how to have Raichu respond until the move was in motion. It was just like fighting Gethin all over again - he was completely blind. It was tough on him but with Raichu he knew they'd persevere. Raichu had his speed on his side and, when needed, he had his tail for close defense.

He couldn't use thunder over and over either... not with Glameow knowing it too, even if she'd take more damage from it. He'd only exhaust his friend.

He watched, but tensed all over when Glameow leapt... and then hit the ground, front paws first, digging powerfully underground. Shit Linoone's dig attack! Just as he thought the the announcer confirmed it over the loudspeaker. "Last time this attack befell poor Raichu, it had a devastating effect!"
"Alright Raichu we aren't falling for that again. Stay right where you are, listen for her!" Raichu's ears perked and he shut his eyes, quietly standing their on all on fours, listening hard to the ground underneath him. The crowd around was silent. Sora watched his old friend closely, waiting for the indication.

A tail twitched.
"JUMP!"
Raichu gave another powerful leap towards the pillars seconds before Glameow burst from the ground.
"AND VOLT TACKLE!"
"Rairairaichuuuu!!" The electric mouse landed on the side of a metal beam and twisted before bouncing from it, sailing through the air with an electrical current around him like a cloak and slammed in the Glameow still flailing in the air. "GLLLLLLLAAAAA!"

And like Roxas knew he would as the electricity flailed, Raichu twisted his body and slammed his still-sparking, powerful tail into his cat and she went sailing into the ground.
"Meeerow!" She cried as she met the dirt. Her body shook and she struggled to get up... but couldn't move. Sparks of electricity shimmering along her form strangely.
"Glameow!" Roxas cried. "Are you okay?" Why wasn't she getting up? She whined softly, but slowly struggled to her feet, shaking some as if she was still being shocked.

"And what a surprise folks! Raichu dodged that dig attack and came back with a powerful volt tackle, dealing critical damage to Glameow! And, unfortunately for her, she appears to be paralyzed!! With this status effect, Glameow will have trouble attacking!"
Sora seemed as surprised as Roxas did at this outcome. Volt tackle rarely ever paralyzed anyone - in fact besides himself (of which was a REALLY embarrassing tale) Glameow was the first it ever did so too. Hitting that steel beam... must of enhanced the effects!

"Glameow... do you wanna keep going?" Roxas asked uncertain.
The cat hissed and nodded slowly, the motion obviously sluggish. But she was determined to fight.
Raichu frowned but got back on all fours, shaking his head to get over the recoil damage he took. This would be easy now.


Terra's eyes narrowed as Roserade recovered from the attack. Why though she was a grass type that should of hurt alot more...

Then he cursed under his breath remembering she a dual-type with poison. Damn it, no wonder. It didn't matter the stupid plant was going to get it!

At the call of the next attack though he hissed. "Rampados-" He started to yell but the plant had already darted past and between the large creature. The large monster seemed a little surprised, trying to turn around to face his opponent but it was too late before the draining attack his him. The Pokemon gave a painful roar.
"Hang in there!" Terra called but he got distracted by suddenly violent sneezing. He looked towards Venita. "Hey what's wrong?!"

She didn't even get a chance to answer before another attack hit - this time thanks to Aerodactyl. Terra looked up as the sheep was thrown into the air before hitting the ground hard her master unable to respond because she was sneezing too much. He was shocked when suddenly she KICKED a Pokemon but he understood suddenly why. She must of been allergic to... flowers. Rampados stopped crying as the attack was cut off.

"Ven-" He started. That's when things really went wrong. His voice caught and his heart froze as he saw the extinct Pokemon standing menacingly in front of the love of his life... about to bite her in half. "NO!" He screamed.

"FLLLLLLLLLLLLLY!" Came a scream from above then green fire rained down and hit Aerodactyl, streaming down his back. Flygon swooped down like a hawk smacking his tail into the monster trying to hurt Venita and throwing him backwards. "Fly, flygon!"
Terra reached Venita at the second grabbing her and pulling her close to him, hugging her tightly as if he was afraid to let her go. "Are you okay?" He asked. She didn't answer, too shocked and scared, so he shook her. "Venita!" That got a response out of her.

He sighed when she spoke, her voice shaky as she confirmed she was okay. He growled towards Marluxia, looking ready to murder him. But inside he was scared too. He'd almost lost her... he couldn't let this continue. "That's it this fucking battle is ov-"

"FLY!" Flygon screeched in denial, watching the Aerodactyl get up. He turned and landed in front of the trainers and lowered his head to look at Venita his eyes sad. "Gon..." He nudged her with his head. "Fly fly!! Fly, flygon!" He nodded and turned to looked towards the other flying type, his eyes full of flames for a fight.
Terra understood after a few moments, his grip loosening a little. "He... wants to fight for you. He wants you to be his trainer to take out that purple butterfly bitch." He looked down towards her, smiling shakily. "Do... Do you want to? I could tell you Flygon's attacks..."

"Alright!" Axel smiled as he heard Assist again. It would probably be Glameow's best attack against Raichu. For one, no one knew what it would be and two, it was so sudden and random, it could be effective if it's chosen right.

He watched the cat jump, and then dig.
"Raichu's weak against ground..." Axel whispered. Ninetails glanced back at him and tilted her head. Her master should be a Trainer teacher with all his pointless knowledge about everything. Then again, Axel was a straight A+ student in training school and working at the PRC, he learned even more.

They waited in silence as they watched Raichu, seeing if he would be quick enough. And he was. Axel smiled as he saw the mouse leap from danger but blinked as the attack was called. "Ouch times two..." He winced as he saw the same attack Raichu had dealt before in another battle.

What made him frown though was the electric around her. He knew instantly what was wrong even before the judge announced it. She was paralyzed...
"That's no---"
"Ninetails!" The fox turned in his lap, making her fluffy tails hit him in the face. "Ack! Ninetails! What are you---!"
He felt her nuzzle and paw at the pouch at his belt, whimpering as she did so. She bit it suddenly, the snap coming off and she buried her head into it before pulling out a small spray bottle.

"Ninetails!" The redhead frowned as she grabbed her before she went leaping from his arms. "What are you doing!?"
The fox looked back and whimpered, letting him see what she had in her mouth. It was a Paralyze Heal."Ninetails... you can't...."
She whimpered more, her red eyes sad.
"No, we can't give it to Roxas... that would be cheating..." He sighed softly as he took the spray from her mouth and pet her softly. "I know you want to help but remember, this is a battle and if the trainer's are equip with something to help, they'll just have to be more careful..."

He put the spray back in his pouch and smiled softly, knowing that she just wanted to help.
He pulled her close and smiled before looking down at the battle field. Glameow was still going to fight...


The grass pokemon fell onto the ground, slowly getting up and shaking her head. A human NEVER kicked her before! "Roserade!" She growled before turning around, her eyes widening as she saw the dinosaur. "ROSERADE!" She flailed her arms in panic.

The hungry eyes beamed down at the girl however it wasn't hear he wanted to eat it was.... that smell of....sweet poffin!
It was the perfume she was wearing that made him lick his lips. She must taste like sweet poffin, his favorite!

His powerful feet stomped down as he came closer, his wings flapping out and his jaw opened. "AEEROOO!" He cried before he snapped down and something blocked the smell! And got a tickle on his back. But that was before he got a tail in his face and went flying.
"AAAAAAAAAAAER!" He turned his head as he fell onto the gound to see... a Flygon!?
The dinosaur roared as it flapped it's wings and took to the sky in rage. He saw the poffin first!

The blonde was pull back but couldn't stop the gaze. However when she was shaken and her named called, she blinked and looked up, seeing the concerned face looking down at her.
"Y-yea... I-I'm ok..." He said shakily before Flygon leaned down and... nuzzled her.

She smiled but before she could pet him and thank you for saving her life, he was glaring up at the roaring flying dinosaur.
She swallowed as Terra explained to her but her scared blue eyes turned dark as she slowly pulled away... and nodded. "Alright! Let's do this Flygon! Let's kick that meanie's butt!"
