Sirocco sighed as he got Sora's answer. Maybe... Ven was going crazy... but... from what? He... what had he seen out the windo--" "ROXAS!" He too saw the blood, worried that his son had been hurt from Ven but... he only closed his eyes as Roxas told them where it was from.
"Thank you two for---" He stopped when he suddenly heard something. The sound of a violin. It was Mendelssohn's violin concerto.

Bryna waited on the other side with berated breath, her ear pressed against the door trying to hear her boy inside. She heard him moving things about and then... the soft sounds of a violin played through. She pulled away and sniffled, wiping away her tears. "Ven..." she splayed her fingers across the door.
The two boys looked up curiously when their dad started to talk... and then cut himself off as if he was listening to something. both boys were silent as well, their ears perked and there eyes closed.
They soft sounds of the violin met them quickly. Roxas and Sora both instantly recognized it just from its first few chords, having whistling them many a time when they were younger and memorized it like crazy whenever they used to play as a trio together.
Roxas sighed, glad to hear the song. If Ven was playing then... then that was a good sign right? "I'm gonna go wash off..." He mumbled softly, getting to his feet and slowly walking towards the stairs. As he walked upstairs, he passed his mother who was walking downstairs, no longer trying to coax Ven from the room. Feeling a little more secure over that notion he went to the bathroom and shut the door, planning on taking a nice hot shower. Ven was fine.
Sora watched Roxas leave, before slowly looked up towards the window to the music room. He could just barely see Ven's outline. Despite the fact it was not his harp concerto, Sora had a strong urge to run up the stairs to meet Ven anyways. But he was not being called... but maybe... maybe Ven was calling to himself... maybe... he was trying to get back some semblance of control... So why... did this feel so wrong?

Sirocco sighed as he stood and looked at the window with Sora. He too... wasn't sure if this was a good sign. He knew it was the first biggest piece that Bryna had taught the boys. She had always loved music, especially classic. She had gone through life playing many instruments... even went on tour with a band...
It was her passion that made him fall in love with her. That and that she was beautiful.
She had put so much time into being both a mother... and a conductor for their sons. And they played beautifully.
Now she worked for a company that shipped instruments around the world.
He looked down at Sora and nodded. "Let's go..."
Mendelssohn's violin concerto played for hours... and during dinner, everyone could tell why. Ven was messing up on the fast parts... probably because of his bandages. After he messed up, he'd play another shorter song before starting Mendelssohn's again.
No one really had the stomach to eat as they listened to the trying strings play.
It was getting late... and the violin finally stopped.
"Please, oooh baby, don't go... hmm mmm hmmm mmmmmm Mmm~~~" The sound of water being turned off could be heard before a silverette walked out of the shower. He hummed as he grabbed his towel and started to dry himself off.
He blinked though as the phone started to ring. "RIKU! COULD YOU GET THAT!?" The silverette sighed before rushing out of the bathroom to his room and grabbed the phone. "Hello?.......Sora? Yea...-what's wrong?"
He sat down on his bed, his long wet hair dripping water on his bed. "Locked himself up? Well... didn't I teach you how to unlock a door using something besides a key?"

Sora looked up at his dad and sighed but nodded. "K..." He got to his feet, brushing snow off the knees of his pants and followed his father inside. He noticed his mother on the couch just leaning back with her eyes shut... and he knew she was listening to Ven play.
She adored music - and that love and passion had spread to all three of her boys most obviously to Roxas. Ven had an obvious love for it too though, considering how loud he played those CDs of his and his current feverish style of playing. Sora, though he didn't commonly practice or sing of was even in band, loved it to the very core of his heart as well. He never felt more comfortable then when his hands glided over those harp strings and the soft sounds of angels filled the air...
Sora watched his father fly to his mother's side and he sighed going up the stairs. He listened to the music play, counting all the mistakes Ven was making before he stopped, playing a shorter piece he faintly recognized, and started again. He seemed determined to finish, despite his cut arms.
A true artist really suffered for his work.
At dinner, everyone poked at their food, occasionally sending glances to the fifth seat of the table where Ven usually sat unnerved by its emptiness. No one ate much or, for some, anything at all, and the plates were placed in the fridge to be consumed later. And still the haunting sound of the strings resonated across the ghost house.
By nine or so the sun long gone beyond the horizon, the music stopped.
Roxas went to his and Sora's room to be alone as he played his Gameboy; Bryna was in the kitchen, washing dishes; Sirocco was in the basement checking the the water heater; and Sora was in the living room, cordless phone in hand.
He pressed the on button, dialing a familiar number without really looking, and raised the phone to his ear. Riiiiiiiing................ riiiiiiiiiing........... riiiiiiiiiiiiiiii- "Hello?" He heard on the other end. He sighed in relief, glad Carina hadn't picked up. "Riku..." He murmured softly, his voice sounding tense and worried. "Mm..." He sounded as the other said his name, wordless confirming it. His lips pressed together at the question. "Well... we brought Ven home today but he flipped out on us in the car. Like... like nothing I've ever seen before Riku... and now he's up in the music room and he locked us all out! I'm worried about him. He's just been playing and playing and he won't come out... I dunno what to do."
He trailed off as Riku answered and then blinked slowly. A grin began to form on his face. "Oh yeah! Okay it's a push lock so all I need to to do is get something to push back onto it right?" When he got the confirmation and a mention about metal, Sora stood, rushing to the closet and opening the door. "Okay hold on a sec..." He set down the phone, searching in the small cabinets that held the nails, screws and other such things. He pulled out a few bolts that were small and thin and picked up the phone again. "Okay I found something, I'll call you back if I need anymore help K? Thanks so much Ri, bye!"
He turned off the phone, placing it in its cradle as he rushed for the stairs. He got to the music room shortly thereafter and licked his lips nervously. "Okay... I can do this..." He got down on his knees, grabbing the door handle and tried to stick the bolt in - too thick. He grabbed another and ran into the same problem. He picked up one of the longer and thinner ones and this one fit in the wider part of the keyhole. He jingled the bolt around a bit, making the doorknob rattle. "Come on... come on..." He twisted his wrist and pushed in- Click! "Alright!" He took out the bolt, throwing it to the side and stood, carefully twisting the doorknob.
"Ven?" He called as he swung open the door... and noticed the lights were out. Why were the lights out? "Hey Ven?" He called again, reaching for the switch... and flicked it on.

Sirocco sighed as he looked at the pipes. These things had been rattling all night. There had to be a reason. He leaned down and grabbed his wrench before tightening up some bands. If this didn't work, he'd have to call a repair man in the morning...
Little did he know... there was something much more devastating upstairs than any rattling of pipes.
The sound of the door trying to be unlocked could be heard in the semi warm room of the music room. The lights were out and only a little bit of the moon pushed through the clouds.
There was a click... and the door was open. The hallway light showed some of the room, but only down the middle. Ven's practice area was always on the right where Sora's was in the middle and Roxas's was on the left.
The minute Sora flicked on the lights... the picture became clear why Ventus played no more. He had hit every note correctly... and he was done.
"You should really pack up. We could use you out there. They said that the pre-war is almost ending and we need all the soldiers we can get." The brunette male said as he sat across from his black haired friend.
A blonde walked out from the kitchen, his blue eyes dark as he stomped over to the black haired man and sat on the armrest. His arms wrapped around the black haired man's neck and pulled him close before sending a cold glare at the brunette. "Zack's joining the military over my dead body."
Two strings from Ven's violin were pulled out of their holding and the violin itself was upside down on the floor next to a body. Blood had stained the carpet and soaked into the bandages that had been ripped off. The blonde laid on his back, sprawled out on the floor.
Around each wrist wrapped a violin string. They were wrapped so tight that they embedded into his skin. It was bloody and raw, blood seeping from it.
The rest of his arms were reopened, blood pooling from them too. The tool for which Ven reopened them with laid next to him. The bow of his violin.

At first... at first Sora didn't see it. All he saw was a room he had known all his life, full of silent instruments that need players to bring out their beauty... a room color in light cream tones and with two windows tan curtains drawn to block out the light of the room and carpet of beige...
A carpet of beige and crimson. Sora's head turned slowly, seeing the blond on the ground, his face relaxed as if asleep. But no... no he wasn't asleep. No it was something much much worse.
The images registered into Sora's brain sluggishly but with increasing speed and terror as if he was watching a scary movie in slow motion... Blood staining the carpet, the overturning violin, the stings red and dripping, and the bloody bow laying innocently by it's master's side the music silence forever.
This was scarier than any movie he could ever see. This was real.
Sora rushed into the room, falling to his knees at Ven's side and he screamed.
"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!"
Bryna's heart stopped and the ceramic plate she was washing slipped from his hand, shattering as it impacted with the marble sink. She spun around... and ran for the stairs.
Roxas dropped his Gameboy at that sudden horrible sound right beyond his door and terror seemed to slam into him without any reason. "Sora?!" He jumped up from the bed and opened the door rushed outside.
A sickening rush filled his body as he noticed the open door to the music room and ran towards the threshold and paused. "W-Wha-" He spluttered out, taking in spots of blood and Sora hunched over another figure he was cradling close and it was with a frightening sort of realization that Sora... was holding onto Ven. Thankfully the horrible sight of his brother was censored from him.
Sora looked back though, blue eyes glossy with tears and horror. "Get out of here! CALL AN AMBULANCE! HURRY!!!"
Roxas stood there, his body frozen. "NOW!!!!" The blonde spun around, nearly crashing into his mother before shooting past her and down the stairs - incidentally passing his father as well. His fingers shook all over as he snatching up the phone having a hard time holding it since his palms were sweaty. He managed to dial the number putting the phone to his ear.
"What happened?!" Bryna cried, standing in the doorway and nearly entering. "DON'T!" Sora screamed in a pleading short of way, making his mother freeze. He... did not want her to see this sight. More tears slipped down his face as he begged, "Mom please... please go back down the stairs!!" His eyes darted to his farther as he appeared too. He needed to get them away from here! "I need pliers and towels! ...I need them RIGHT NOW! FIND THEM!" He ordered the two his voice cracking as it reached heights it shouldn't have.
He turned his head away and looked down at Ven's slack and graying face, holding his brother closer still even as blood seeped into his clothes. He was very aware of the purpling of Ven's hands - if those wires cut off his circulation much longer... Ven hold on... please, please hold on...

Sirocco sighed before putting the wrench away. Looks like that was all he could do. If the continued... He blinked as he heard a muffled scream. "Shit..." He dropped his tool chest and run up the basement doors. Everything started to go into slow motion as well as he saw his wife rushing up the stairs.
What had happened....
That was when he heard it. Sora... was yelling. Sora only yelled when something was truly horrible.
He rushed to the stairs, only for Roxas to almost to bump into him. He looked back, seeing his other blonde son picking up the phone and only dialed three numbers. 911...?
"VEN!" He rushed upstairs and down the hall, seeing his wife at the now opened music door and... froze. His eyes widened as he saw Sora hunched over something... but he was commanded... He wasn't going to ask... but did what his son pleaded to do. He turned and rushed back downstairs and into the basement, opening his tool box and pulling out the pliers.
He rushed back upstairs, hearing faint sounds of an ambulance. He ran to the music room once more before slowly walking in. Before he could see much, Sora snatched the pliers from his hand.

Roxas voice was shaky as he spoke with the dispatcher on the other line, explaining the situation giving the information as quick as possible. God must of blessed them that day - because as ambulance was close by and was headed en route to them in a matter of seconds.
He shakily fell against the wall, staying on the line with the dispatcher even as the wails of the ambulance filled the house.
Bryna shook as her eldest son yelled at her, but she didn't argue with him. She was old enough to know that in these sorts of situations... every second counted. So she was out the door in an instant, running into the bathroom and snatching towels off the racks in a frenzied pattern not caring as one of them came unfolded and as she spun, it swept things that were on the sink off and to the floor.
She got back there a little before her husband, panicky and shaky. Sora snatched up the towels from her hands, quickly wrapping up Ven's forearms before she could see much. Then Sirocco was there and Sora took the pliers.
"Go downstairs and meet the ambulance. Get them up here quickly!" Sora ordered, "I've got Ven." "Sor-" "Dad if you love mom at all, you'll get her out of this room!" Sora said. "Wha-Sirocco!" Sora laid Ven on the ground and grabbed the closest wrist turning it so it laid on it's side. he felt along the wire nervously, breathing hard as Ven's blood began to coat his fingers. He found a small bit of snag in the wire and stuck the pliers under the minuscule space. He grunted as he clutching the pliers closed as hard as he could... and then the violin wire snapped. He dropped the pliers, shakily unwrapping the metal, grimacing as it stuck and pulled at Ven's skin because it was sticky with blood. He threw the wire to the side, sobbing helplessly as he reached for the other wrist. His fingers shook all over as he frantically searched the wire for a snag like the other had...
and found one that was even smaller then the other. He couldn't fit the pliers under it. So he went at it vertically, snapping the wire from above and ended up pinching Ven hard enough to break skin. Sora didn't let it bother him too much, instead just carefully pulling away the wire as well. After that was done he pressed down on the towel-wrapped arms, trying to stem to blood flow as much as possible. It was about at that same time he could hear footsteps pounding up the stairs...

Sirocco swallowed as his son called some more orders. He frowned though, about to say something along the lines of 'Sora, let me take him' when he was suddenly cut off. He frowned more but closed his eyes, wrapping his arms around his wife and pulled her back. "Come on." He took her hand and pulled her down the hall and down the stairs. "Take care of Roxas." He kissed her quickly before opening the door.... and meeting the medics face to face.
They had a stretcher in hand and looked up at the man. "Sir, where is the boy?" "Upstairs, take a left at the top and it's the room all the way down at the end." The medics nodded and quickly rushed pass him and up the stairs. They turned and ran down the hallway, finding the room quickly with two boys in it.
"Son, please move out of the way!" One said as he leaned down and looked at Ven. He reached down and wrapped his arms around Ven before quickly and carefully lifted him up and onto the stretcher. "ALRIGHT! LET'S MOVE!" He called before the other's quickly rushed out of the room and down the stairs. The main medic ran after them before looking into the living room at the rest of the family. "He'll be admitted to Hope Hospital."

Sora looked up at the medics as they ordered him away, and almost snapped back at them when he remembered that they were trying to help. He scuttled back some, watching the medic pick up his brother and put him on a stretcher... and then take him out of the room.
Bryna let Sirocco tug her down stairs, not have the strength to fight against him - even though she could have if she had really wanted to. She just... couldn't muster the energy... everything was happening too fast...
She looked up when her husband spoke and nodded dumbly, breaking away from him to go to Roxas. "Yeah... yeah they're here... okay... thank you..." Roxas said, choked up before he hit the off button. He heard the door opening just as his mother grabbed his by the arm and pulled him against the wall with her. Seconds later the medics were racing past... with a stretcher, oh god! He buried his head into her shoulder, shaking all over...
It wasn't long before he heard footsteps coming back downstairs sounding heavy then before but he couldn't look up, didn't want to see his dying brother... He heard the intake of air of his mother, knowing... that it was probably not a pretty sight. He moved his head slightly, so one of his eyes were free and opened them - and just barely caught sight of his brother as he was rushed out the doors.
So... pale...
Ven was loaded in and the ambulance was gone before anyone could argue coming with. The sirens wailed loudly as it raced down the snow-thick roads... and then even that was gone. No one moved or breathed just like they had when Ven had been released from the hospital...
And then footsteps made Roxas' head turn, dim eyes meeting Sora's frame. God... so much blood...
The brunette didn't attempt the stairs, just sat down on the top steps, shaking from head to toe as he buried his head in his hands. Blood smeared all over his cheeks and the sickening scent invaded his nose, but he could care less. "Oh god..."

Sirocco breathed steadily as the house was once again quiet. He knew that he had to pack up his family... and head to the ER. He already knew that Sora and Roxas wouldn't want to stay here... even if they should. He knew he couldn't break up the triplets. All he could hope was that Ven... make it through this once again.
He slowly looked over at Bryna who had tears running down her face. He shouldn't of left the decision of letting Ven out to her. Not because of what had happened... but because he knew she was blaming herself for what was happening.
He swallowed and looked up at Sora... and that was when the phone rang. The man walked to the phone and picked it up calmly. "Holani Residents..." "Oh... hello Mr. Holani... is Sora around?" A familiar male's voice came through the phone. "No... no he isn't. C-can I leave a message." There was some hesitation on the other end before: "I was just wondering if he got the door open..."
The room was empty, the sounds of the large fish tank bubbling as the intercom asked for names and numbers and the family had no idea about. A brunette boy sat next to a brunette man as the man sat next to his brunette haired wife who sat next to their blonde child. A thumb ran over the woman's fingers as the married couple held each other's hand.
The family of blue eyes just stared down at the tiles, waiting for any kind of news. It was already one in the morning... and their eyes and bodies ached for rest.

Blue and pink and brown... all over again. Once more, Roxas questioned this hospital's interior designer as he studied the tiles. He had gotten bored watching the doctors come in and out of the ER room to talk to other families, got tired of watching people break down or smile with joy, no longer cared...
All he wanted to know... was if Ven was okay.
Bryna's fingers clenched around sirocco's slightly glancing at him momentarily and smiling faintly, just trying to get some sort of reassurance. This... this had been an awful... awful day. And... it was all her fault.
Bryna was not the only one feeling guilt however. The whole family was basically coated with it. Twice in a span of 24 hours... it was too much... way too much.
Sora stared at the tiles, trying to see how long he could keep them open without needed to blink. He was playing this 'game' with himself because... every time he shut his eyes, the only thing he saw was Ven. That sight would never, ever leave his mind for as long as he lived.
He lent back in his chair some, raising his eyes to stare at the opposite wall. Hardly anyone was in the ER now... he took a few deep breathes, trying to gain some sort of inner strength, knowing that everyone was hurting so terribly bad and he wanted to say something to make it all better... bring smiles back to his families faces - but it would not come to him. No matter how deep he searched or how long, it still would not come to him. It was gone...
His optimism, his smile, his happiness had all taken a vacation at the worst possible time, a time he needed it most... and all that was left for him was an aching pit pf pain in his heart, dried and flaky blood covering his clothes and skin he didn't have the energy to clean off, and raw eyes from wiping away tears for the past four hours.

Sirocco smiled softly as he looked down at his wife. The question was still in his head. Why.... why was Ventus doing this? Why... did he want to die...? What was so horrible in life for him to want to take his life...? He had racked his brain for so many hours... not able to think of one besides him being grounded.
There was no way he could try and kill himself because of that.... right?
All he wanted to know... was why? He didn't even get the chance to ask his son.... just to find out the answers...
He sighed unsteadily as he heard the door open from the ER... but didn't look up. It had been happening all night... but when footsteps came to them, they looked up at the first person to come to them for hours. "Hello, I'm Mr. Rou. I'm the medical assistant to the doctor who was treating your son. Doctor Riri told me to tell you that you're son is fine but he will need some minor surgery for his arms to heal the veins he damaged. It's a non risk procedure and will only last about a hour."
He looked at his clipboard and frowned. "However... We pulled up his medical records and saw that he has already attempted this act within 48 hours... it is unfortunate for me to say but it is very possible that after your son's recovery here, he might be transferred to a psych ward... however, that is for the doctor to decide."

Four pairs of blue eyes looked up at once when the feet stopped in front of them. The minute the words 'you're son if fine' was uttered, all of them uttered a soft sigh of relief...
Bryna shut her eyes as Mr. Rou finished and she nodded. "We understand... thank you." "Will..." Roxas spoke up softly, getting a little tired of being ignored in these hospital settings. He licked his lips and swallowed his throat, trying to get some moisture through it. "Will we be able to see him after that?"

The man nodded and was about to head off when he heard the blonde. He stopped and looked back at him and tilted his head. He smiled at the question and nodded. "Yes you will. The doctor will explain more about the situation to you tomorrow." He looked at the family and nodded. "You should all get some rest. We won't be having any new news for you until after the surgery."
Sirocco nodded before standing... and shaking the man's head. "Thank you... for everything."
