Terra frowned as the other left, the door shutting blocking out the sound of the wind and the other's presence. Silence permeated the area in thick waves, loneliness triggering inside of the brunette almost instantly.

He sighed, looking down at his wolves once more, seeing them all looking back at him imploringly. Wolves were pack mates... they looked out for one another. On the off-chance they were ever divided, that fact did not change no matter how bad they screwed up.

He didn't know what... he would do without Ven in his life. Out of all the people in his life he could imagine having to cope with leaving him, Ven's absence seemed like it would be the one that would destroy him. If he let it.

He threw his book on the couch, jumping up and ran back to his room. Minute later he was running down the sidewalk Ven just barely began to walk down. "Ven!" He called, prompting the other to stop and glance back.

The brunette came up next to him, something clasped in his hand. He lifted it up, showing him his jacket. A hoodie and a shirt was okay for a ten second walk outside the house to a nice car with a heater - but it was NOT okay for a several mile walk home. Which he knew Ven was going to do regardless if he argued with him or not. The blond needed to think and, strangely enough, he took the most bizarre and possibly health-threatening routes to do so. That was just... how Ven was. Plain idiotic. Self-destructive...

"Listen I know our upset but that's no reason to act like an idiot. And I'm not having you're frozen dead body on my conscious tomorrow morning so wear this." The brunette said. The other looked ready to protest and Terra's eyes narrowed. "Do it. You don't want to find out what I'll do if you don't." Seeing as how he had one of Ven's most life-altering secrets in his head, it took no other encouragement for the blonde to snatch the jacket up, acting as a third layer between him and the cold. He would need it.

Terra stuck his hands in his pants pockets quickly, feeling the cold biting at his bare arms as he looked at the other. So much that needed to be said, so much neither could voice. Finally Terra just sighed and shut his eyes. "See you later Ven." He turned on his heels, walking back home.


Sora walked along Riku his eyes still wide as images flashed in his brain. The more he tried to forget, the more he remembered of that awful terror of a film. The little girl's body floating in a lake, the pet dog's head being severed from its body - why oh why did these movies ALWAYS have to harm animals?! -, The creepy ghosts, the haunting hymns the-

He shut his eyes and shivered as his friend addressed him. "S-Shut up." He mumbled back. He had tried so damn hard to be brave too! The only aspect of bravery he had accomplished was he didn't hide his face behind his hands during the scary parts... otherwise he squealed like a girl.

....................... a pre-teen girl.

As they traveled outside Sora was aware of two things. One, it was incredibly and unrelentingly dark out, not even a moon or stars above to light their way, and second it was unsettling in how cold it was out. He couldn't remember a winter that had been this cold before. Then again, maybe his body was just too tired to fight it off because his horror-induced shivers had made him feel somewhat lethargic.

Now, when he and Riku stopped, he was thankful for two things. One, they stopped under a light post, the two safe and secure in the small circle of sanctuary.
Two... was when Riku brought him close in a tight hug. He was surprised, and couldn't help but glance up at the other, seeing the other illuminated by the light overhead - and again he was struck with how much Riku reminded him... of an angel. "Thanks Ri..." He said a little shyly, but happily snuggled closer, his own arms circling around Riku's body under the coat.

He couldn't help the ecstatic smile that crossed his face, his heart rate going up as he was held in his crush's arms! Feeling at the height of security and incredibly warm, his shivers had lessened to an occasional shake whenever a particularly bad breeze ghosted along the back of his neck. He had a feeling he was going to be waking up in the middle of the night tonight - but it certainly would not be because of nightmares.


Roxas laughed as he swung his hips about not caring if it looked clumsy or awkward. Not to mention all the grumbles and stepping on toes and falls. After having spent several songs just trying to pick dance and song together and choreograph on the spot, they gave it up along with finding a song.

Of course it was Axel who broke the rules first, getting bored with their 'practice' that even roxas had to admit was dull and uncomfortable. and now they were too busy laughing at each other and having fun to even remember it.

He grinned, shaking his head at Axel's terrible signing and quickly jumped into the next lines, not even giving it second thought. "Take me by the hand and go like this~ Ee-oh! Twist baby, baby twist! Ooooh yeah just do it like this! Come on little miss and do it like this!"

An idea sparked him and he looked over at Axel, grinning. "You know how to do the swing pretzel?" The other only grinned and nodded. Quickly getting the idea the two locked hands in a and Axel took control. It was fast and complicated, Roxas and Axel both twisting at 180 degree angles while their arms moved and their bodies twisted hands not once letting go. It was surprisingly easy with Axel's long arms and after each of them had gone under each others arms twice and were once again facing each other, Roxas let go grinning and a little dizzy from the fast spins.

Ven sighed, his breath blowing out into the cold, quite visible as well. As he got onto the sidewalk, he put his foot out once... before hearing his name. Another sigh escaped before he looked back, seeing the brunette coming out towards him. When Terra got up to him he frowned, not really wanting to do much with the other at all.

Blue eyes looked down at the coat and he frowned more. "I don't---" He stopped as the other cut him off and frowned more. He looked at the coat for a moment longer before grabbing it, slinging it over his shoulders and pulled it on. He looked like a fucking marshmallow with all these layers.

The blue eyes looked up at Terra again. There was a cold silence between them and Ven was again about to say something when Terra did so first. The blonde didn't say anything as Terra walked away... but just watched him leave.
When the door closed, he shook his head and sighed once more before starting his journey home.


Riku closed his eyes, enjoying the warmth... and the silence. A few moments passed and he opened his eyes again, looking at the clouded night. He wished the stars were out...

That was when they both heard the sound of Carina's car and broke apart. Riku gave Sora a soft smile before they headed to it, Sora getting in front as always and Riku in the back.
Carina smiled as she looked at them. "So, how was the movie~~~?" She teased the brunette, knowing very well he hated scary movies.

She drove Sora home and gave him a soft kiss before he got out. Riku waved as the car drove off.
Before Sora could really get anywhere though, the sound of snow crunching nearby must of caught the scared brunette... for blue eyes met blue.
It was Ventus coming up to the house. He looked pretty frozen... and tired.


Axel couldn't help as he got out of the dance feeling a little dizzy himself. "WHOO!" He blinked though as the blonde seemed to lose his balance and quickly jumped forward, putting a lanky arm behind Roxas to catch him. Green eyes looked down into the blue and smiled. "Be careful there, got it memorized?" He stared down at the boy for a moment and then---

"ROXAS!? TIME FOR DINNER!"

The sound of a man came up the stares and then the sound of the front door opening. "There you two are." He heard some more talk downstairs and shook his head. "Heh...."

Terra sighed as he wandered back inside, going towards his room and collapsing on his bed. He sighed, burying his head into his pillow. He had a feeling he would get no studying done today...


Sora sighed contently, laying his head against the other's firm chest, shutting his eyes. He could hear Riku's heart beating, slow and steady. A complete contrast to his own which was thumping around like a jack rabbit on steroids.

He lifted his head when he heard the familiar sounds of a puttering car, knowing it was Carina. He shared Riku's smile as they broke away and he quickly claimed his spot in front. He'd done it ever since he was big enough to sit in front, per driving requirements and such and such.

At her teasing his face paled slightly. "Never again." Was all he answered. After that it was back to more happy things. Like where they ate, what he was hoping for for Christmas, if they were going light-seeing this year. Light seeing was one of Sora's favorite activities - his dad used to take him and his brothers around town to see other people's Christmas lights from the least extravagant to the most. Sora didn't know if it was going to happen this year of not. It hadn't last year because Ven, so caught up with his boyfriend, had never been around and Roxas said he was too old for such a kiddish activity. So Sora didn't go because it wouldn't be the same without them.

Then he was home again. He smiled at the kiss, saying his goodbyes to the Mizushima family and stepped out of the car. He waved to them until they were out of sight. He turned around walking for the front door...

"AHHH!" Sora screamed, spinning around and when his eyes met blue he started to back away and he fell into the snow. Thats when the others features began to take shape as he entered the circle of light and he sighed noticing who it was.
"Ven! You scared me." He said, relieved beyond measure. He stood brushing of the snowflakes that had collected on him. He paused however and glanced up again, and frowned in concern. "Hey... you okay?"


Roxas stumbled some and suddenly he felt himself falling. Before he could impact with the ground however he felt arms coming around him, holding him up. He blinked looking up at Axel in surprise. From the way he was positioned it looked like Axel had led him into a dip. "Uh thanks..." He said, staring up into green eyes.

He tensed some however as he heard the yell glancing coldly at the door. Damn, way to ruin a moment dad! He chuckled some, gaining his footing and the two straightened. Roxas went over to the boom box, pressing the stop button and glanced back at Axel. "Wanna stay for dinner?"

Ven rose his eyebrow as he saw Sora fall back into the snow. That was right... Sora had complained at breakfast that he had to watch a scary movie. Ven said he didn't HAVE to do anything he didn't want to but Sora was lighthearted about it and said that Riku had sat through all of his movies that he wanted to see, it was only fair.

"It's call sacrifice, Ven. You should learn it one day."

Ven didn't understand how Sora could just GIVE up things that he wanted to do because of someone else.
Like the light seeing. He had told Sora to go see them as he wrapped his arms around his new and first boyfriend. But Sora didn't go. He guess he could understand better now that back then. He didn't want to do things alone if Zack could be with him instead.

He shook his head and sighed. "Yea, just fine." It was apparent, the bruised spot around his lip.
He and Terra got into another fight.

He walked to the house with his brother and inside where he finally felt warmth after a hour. The fire in the fireplace was crackling to make it even more warm as candles filled the home with a heavenly smell of Christmas.

"There you two are." Sirocco looked at his boys as they walked in. "Hope you have some room for some chicken and stuffing."
Ven sighed as he pulled off Terra's coat. "I'm not hungry..."
When Sirocco saw how red Ven's face was... and the bruise, he put two and two together. "You and Terra got into another fight? And you WALKED home!?"

Ven sighed but nodded. "Yea."
"Why didn't you call me?"
"Cause I just wanted to get out..."
There was a pause and Sirocco and Sora gave each other a look before the man shook his head. "Do you want me to call Mrs. Tellis?"
"Yea dad, why don't you make my life even worse." Ven frowned as he pulled off his gloves and threw everything onto the heater.


Axel rubbed his arms and blinked as the blonde turned to him. D-dinner? From the smell coming into the room it...it actually smelt like... homemade...food.
He never had homemade food unless he went to Demyx's. His diet consisted of TV dinners or fast food.

"S-sure."

Sora frowned but didn't push the issue. Ven was well... complicated. Sometimes when you annoyed him enough, he would tell you what was wrong. Other times he would just get psised at you and not talk to you for a day.

He had a feeling that this time it was the second one. Terra and Ven didn't usually fight this much... or at least not so much to bruise the face so often. Something bad was going on between the two - and if that was the case then it was straining Ven's relationship with Zack, what with the whole related-to-brother thing.

He sighed, pushing the door open and walking in. The smell of food hit Sora first. Christmas was in the air, the smell of holly and mistletoe and cinnamon a constant reminder of the upcoming holidays.

He walked into the kitchen, seeing his parents both there. His dad at the stove, his mother setting the table. Before he could answer Ven spoke up... and that was the end of that inquiry.

"Ventus Holani!" Bryna said at the boy's last statement looking up to meet his eyes. "Don't speak to your father that way he's just trying to help. You shouldn't be getting into such fights with Terra that it results to physical confrontation and you know it."

Sora looked between the three, rolled his eyes and turned, walking out of the kitchen into the living room so they could have their 'discussion'.


"Great!" Roxas said happily. "Just let me go tell my parents." He hurried to the door opening it and heading for the stairs. He paused at the foot of them, hearing the angry-toned voice in the kitchen. He hesitated, then, knowing what would result, ran back upstairs.

He hurried past the music room into his twin's room and raced to the stereo. Without a second thought, he reached around it and unplugged the plug from both the outlet and the stereo itself, preventing Ven from playing it. He really didn't want Axel to find out how dysfunctional his family was. He walked from the room, whistling innocently and threw the cord under his sheets.

Ven frowned as he looked away. If his dad called Terra's mom, she was going to complain to both Zack and Terra about everything, making things a billion times worse. "Look, it's nothing. We've just been a bit testy lately, ok? With finals coming up, we're at our end... and we couldn't agree on a project for the math game either... so we got into a fight..." He explained as he rubbed his shoulders. Fuck, he was still freezing.

His nose then smelt something in the air that wasn't... familiar.
He slowly looked back to see someone TALL at the base of the stairs. Who the hell....?

"Axel? Are you staying for dinner?" The man asked as he looked over Ven and at the redhead.
Oh... so that was Axel. Why the hell did he smell like he took a bath in cologne?

The redhead blinked, seeing that he was spotted. "Oh uh, y-yes sir!" Guess he passed the bathroom...

Bryna sighed, but looked towards the stairs when Ven did seeing the redhead. Moments after his answer, Roxas came down the stairs as well an... interesting smile on his face. The blonde looked up at Axel, seeing how bashful he appeared. He wondered why. It was just his parents.

She turned towards Ven suddenly. "If these fights keep happening Ven, I'm going to lengthen your grounding. Am I understood?" It was only fair. She couldn't punish one son for it and not the other.

Sora looked at the Christmas tree that had been decorated the minute it set foot in the house. He looked way up towards the star in which his father had to put it on - well no one else was tall in this family. He remembered simpler times when he, Ven and Roxas would each get a chance to put the star on the tree. His dad would lift one of them and let them put on the star, then once they were placed he took it off and gave it to the next brother. Roxas used to giggle after his turn and tell dad that it was mommies turn. Of course, lifting Bryna would of been quite a task...

Ven's eyes grew darker as he heard his mother. Fuck. Fucking this.... ugh. His fist shook but he did nothing. All he could do was take his place at the table. Guess he was.... kind of hungry.

Sirocco nodded in agreement with his wife as he brought the hot food to the table. "And if you come home with bruises on your face again, I'm going to call Mrs. Tellis."

More food was placed on the table before Sirocco looked up. "ALRIGHT! EVERYONE IN! TIME FOR DINNER!"


Everyone collected and sat down at the table. A small prayer was said before the sound of silverware filled the room. Some small talk was given, about the movie and how the dance was coming. About Christmas and New Years.

Ven ate the chicken happily seeing that he really hadn't had a nice meal for a week. He looked up to grab his drink when he stopped and looked across from him at Axel's plate.
It was empty. Not a crumb left in sight.

Dinner was a happy affair... for once. It was full of chatter and present hints. Mostly from Sora. And those hints weren't exactly... inconspicuous.

"Hey mom you know what would reallllly brighten the room? A puppy! Hey lets get one with white and black fur and-"
"Sora."
"Yeees?"

"You know dad, if you want more exercise I can think of the perfect running partner! All we need to buy is a leash and collar, maybe a water dish-"
"Nice try son."

The brunette himself only ate so much of his food. He had, after all, filled up on soda, popcorn, candy and pizza before dinner, so he wasn't particularly hungry.

Roxas meanwhile, sat next to Axel. He glanced at the other once curiously, quickly discovering Axel... knew no table manners. Coruse, this was hardly any different then sitting next to Ven so he didn;t mind.
The next time he glanced at Axel, he found out that despite the lack of manners, he certainly had a healthy appetite. He wasn;t the only one to notice.
"My, my Axel, done already?" Bryna asked as she glanced at the empty plate. She smiled when she saw the other's bashful look. "Well good, you need to put some meat on those bones! Want seconds?"

After dinner, Axel was driven home by the Holani mother - not twenty minutes later Ven, after freaking out that his stereo was broken, found the missing cord and went on a rampage. Good timing too. Roxas, however, didn't give it back.
"I want a week of peace Ven - and you owe me for the whole cellphone thing."
"Fuck why can't you be like normal brothers and ask for twenty bucks?!"


By Wednesday, students were deep into their finals. For some, theirs were spread throughout the week, for others (the unlucky ones) they got hit with more than one at a time. The seniors had it easy - many being given opportunities to get out of them depending on how their grades were going. Juniors and sophomores had no chance at all. The freshman's were easy and simple.

That morning, Roxas was with his friends practicing on his flute, trying to remain calm. He had his band, choir AND dance tests all today. Luckily they were all electives, but they were still stressing him out. He sought for perfection in these arts, and getting bad grades on his finals for them would be a heavy blow to his pride...

Sora, meanwhile, was mentally going over his monologue for drama. He was luckier then Roxas - this was his only test today. He easily found Riku studying away, nose shoved in his book. "Heh, why dost thou worry so much?" He teased. "Riku you'll do fine."

Terra, up at the tree with Aqua, was eerily quiet as he ran over his English notes with her. They shared the class after all - but damn did their teacher test hard! They had to remember terms, dates and people from the continuous lectures he had given over the past month and a half. An hour a day times six weeks... that was 30 hours of notes!

"Chaucer created the Canterbury Tales." Aqua read aloud, her eyes skimming across the dates and facts about the man. "He said we're going to be reading that next semester."
"It's a hell of a book." Terra said knowledgeably. "It's in the old English like Beowulf had been, but it's even harder to read."

Axel had indeed asked for seconds.... but bashfully. He didn't want to seem like a moocher... and his brother had told him never ask for seconds, take 'em.

When dinner was done, it became quite aware how... un-well-to-do Axel was.
"Did you want to call your Aunt for a ride?"
"Uh.... well.....uh.....actually, that was the problem today. You see... our phone was cut off because my aunt didn't have the money to pay for it this month."
"O-oh..."
"And... we really....don't have a car either."
"..........Mom!"

Yea... it sucked being poor.


Know what else sucked?
The week of finals.

Now WHY would they give finals right next to Christmas!?

Olette smiled as she watched her boyfriend play. She was really seeing less and less of him now that he was grounded... and well... so busy with things! That was alright though... at least they got to spend band, lunch and PE together.

Riku looked up, smiling as he saw his brunette friend as he sat next to his girlfriend whose nose was also in a book. "Yea, I know... but I keep forgetting this one thing." He shook his head and frowned. Riku had 4 tests today... it was so hard being a Junior!

"Isn't that the one where it has stories about the seven sins?" Ventus asked as he came up the hill to the classic spot. His blue eyes glanced at Terra.
Like lust, greed, envy, pride, gluttony.... and wrath?


The day started out the same.... only that the school was oddly quiet. It had to be. Signs were posted around the school:
Please be quiet.
Students in testing.
Even security was out to make sure to shut up any kid who dare talk in their outside voice.

It was lunch time though... and the kids were a bit more rowdy than before.
As Lunch B started and Lunch A was going into PE, the hall were pretty noisy.

Riku walked calmly down the hallway, not in a rush to eat. He knew that there would be a line waiting... and just figured not to try and beat it. Besides, he always waited up for Sora who always seemed to be the last one out of his classroom. He smiled as he saw his spiky, brunette haired friend bounced from his class. "Sora!" He waved to catch his friend's attention.


Seeing that Ven's class wasn't all to far from the cafeteria, he didn't have to go far. Not like he was OMG EXCITED to fucking sit with Sora, Riku and Kairi. Even in the middle of the school year he still felt like he was out of place.
He still had two more years to deal with too...

He sighed as he walked down the hall and passed the gym, knowing the Lunch A was getting changed now for PE. He sighed some more before taking a detour to the men's bathroom. He opened the door and didn't think much of it. He walked around a tiled wall and into the main area before coming to a dead halt.

He wasn't all too thrilled when someone else was using the urinal when he needed to. Thought it was pretty awkward... especially since there was only four available.
Four urinals and two stalls.
He usually used a stall when someone else was in the bathroom but it was someone familiar.

Terra.

Awkward....

Ven swallowed before backing up... but FUCK... his bladder was screaming!
He sighed before walking over to the urinal next to Terra's. He stood and slowly unzipped his pants, pulling out his member and started to do his business.

As Ven was relieving himself, his dark eyes slowly wandered, looking next to him at Terra's member. A twitch ran through him, remembering how amazing it had tastes, but semen wise... and inside him.


Inside the girl's changing room, a young sophomore was behind a curtain as she was changing into her gym clothes. THEN there was the fact that she was missing an eye... most kids wondering if she was just wearing that eye patch to be cool or something.
Last but not least, she was an orphan. Only four orphans were able to make it to Hollow Bastion High. Kairi, Seifer, Raijin and his adopted sister, Fujin.

She sighed as she pulled off her shirt and tugged down her jeans, revealing a black bra and matching underwear. She reached down into her backpack and pulled out a stick. A lip balm. She uncapped it and was about to put it on her lips when she lost a hold of it. Her red eye widened.

The stick fell and rolled under the curtain and down the small hallway of lockers. She frowned but nodded. It sounded like there were no girls left, so she pushed the curtains away and rushed after the stick. Now she wasn't the skinniest girl in the world, she had small love handles and some baby fat still around her stomach... but she had the body of a early century girl in which men found attractive.

She blinked as the stick hit a blue bag and reached down for it, slowly picking it up but her eye widened when she noticed that.... someone was sitting on the bench next to the bag.
Her red eye slowly looked up through some loose silver hair, seeing a blue eyed, blue hair girl looking down at her.

Roxas looked at Olette from the corner of his eyes and smiled. Once he finished the song, he pulled the flute away. "So, sound good?" He asked.

Sora smiled sympathetically, patting Riku on the shoulder. "I'm sure you'll get it Riku. In fact you're gonna do so well you're gonna kick the grading curve in the ass!"

Aqua frowned unhappily, looking back down at the notes.
Terra glanced up when Ven joined them and he nodded. "Yeah. Pretty much. The guy died before it was ever finished."


Sora lifted his small canvas, careful not to touch any of the new drying paint. He tilted his head some, his eyes narrowed unhappily as he looked over the landscape he was drawing. It was still missing a lot...
He yawned some as he placed his art project carefully in it's tray and placed it onto the shelf where it wouldn't get damaged. He had until Friday to finish it, hopefully two more hours would be enough to finish it. Thank god their final wasn't any sort of written test!

He picked up his brushes and paint tray going to the sink and cleaning them off. As he was he heard the bell ringing. He wasn't too worried though. He strangely didn't feel like lunch...

He sighed as he walked out of the classroom, last of the group, but looked up when he heard the call of his name. He grinned, seeing the silverette. "Ri!" He walked over, a little more subdued then normal. "How'd your finals go so far?"


Terra sighed as he quickly got changed into his clothes, his toes curling uncomfortably at the pulsing pain in his kidneys. God did he need to pee! He threw the clothes into his small locker, slamming the door and locking it quickly before hopping over the bench but between the rows of lockers. As the other guys were going outside to join the girls on the blacktop, Terra was rushing into the vacant bathroom.

He looked around, seeing no one else around - thank god - and ran for the urinals. He was just starting to do his business when he heard the door open. He thought nothing of it... until the person stepped up next to him.

That... was odd. Usually, as per the unwritten bathroom rules, another guy would go to a stall or at the very least several urinals down from another guy... unless they were trying to show off. Who did this bastard think he was?! His left eye twitched some and subtly glanced at his bathroom mate's cock.

Aqua sighed as she got dressed very slowly, watching as girl after girl left the locker room. Once even the teachers had - after giving her a sharp order to 'hurry up' she sighed thankfully and sat down on the bench. She grabbed her bag from her locker, opening it and pulling out her English notes.

She didn't give a damn if she was skipping class. This test was a hell of a lot more important than playing some stupid game with those idiotic kids. She knew Terra was considering doing the same. Not like the bastard needed to study - fucking straight A student!

"Okay..." she murmured softly. "In 1215 the Magna Carter was signed by..." She looked away from the list trying to remember it by memory. "By.... King John...?" She glanced down and grinned. she got it! Alright, now for something that was actually hard.

"Luther's 95..." She paused however when she heard feet running quickly. She tensed some as the person came beside her, knowing she had been caught...
