Ven was about to answer Terra's question... as odd as it sound. He had read that venom made people hallucinate... which he found pretty interesting.
But before he could, Terra came out with something else... a statement... and a....smile.... His blue eyes darkened as he frowned.... but suddenly smiled. "'For someone who wants a 'fight', you certainly don't know a lot about me.'" He laughed softly and shook his head, pulling away but kept the bottle close to the Atterian. He slowly looked up, seeing the moon shine down on them. A sigh admitted as he turned and started towards the bookshelf that led up to the entrance.
Before he climbed up, he looked over his shoulder, his eyes not meeting Terra's though. "I'll be back when you're healed." He said softly before climbing up the shelved and out onto the roof. I have a huge test tomorrow... back at my real home. Can't sleep though this one. He jumped off the roof and rushed towards the desert where he jumped through a portal.
Riku's face didn't dull a bit as Sora started to and continued to talk. Someone... actually thought his idea wasn't just curious... or stupid... but....neat? He shook his head as he continued to smile. "That's alright.... I guess just having someone there with me is what really counts. Even Kairi thought I was just dreaming... plus she has extra schooling to do... so... I would of had to do it.... alone."
His smiled faded as he looked down. This made Selphie and Sora frown in worry. But the aquamarine eyes came back. "But now I won't be alone." A soft smile ran over his features before he looked over at Sora again. "You don't have a last name right...? So... you're an orphan too?" He pulled his bag closer and shook his head, his silver hair following the movement. "Maybe we can find your parents out there."
OOC: Can I move it up next post?

Terra's eyes were lidded as he watched the other, smirking a bit but not really responding anymore. wahtever those tablets were they had made him drowsy and a little off-guard then he was aware of.
He tilted his head, some, watching the other depart. He yawned. "Yeah... can't wait." Whether he meant to see Ven again or to be healed was never determined because Terra's eyes slipped closed and suddenly he had drifted off fast asleep.
Sora smiled faintly. "I'm not an orphan." He murmured suddenly, and he got a strange look from Selphie and Riku both. "I'm just a little lost, but just because I can't find em doesn't mean they aren't still out there." He admitted, feeling a little guilty at the half-lie.
He looked at Riku his smile true and his words so sincere you knew he believed every word he was saying. "I do know we'll find them... and much, much more out there."

Riku blinked, his eyes widening. Sora... wasn't a---. He stopped as he heard the rest and Selphie blinked, looking at the brunette. For once in her life... she actually felt like... well... she HAD parents... somewhere out there. She smiled and pushed closer to Sora as she looked back at Riku. "Looks like you two will be busy this summer!"
Riku nodded just as the bell rang. "Alright then..." He turned but looked back at Sora. "I'll be waiting for you on Destiny Island then." He waved before walking off. Selphie looked back at Sora and giggled. "See! That wasn't so hard!"
The next day, the Trinity decided that they NEEDED to ALL take a day off... more so... a night off. Latium was making a HUGE test because he didn't think they were pay enough attention in their lessons... seeing that they almost fell asleep in them a few times.
They needed to study... and have a good night sleep.
Study... that was a joke... The Trinity's mind were all on their other life. Like... if Terra would be ok... Or if Riku would think that Sora ditched him... Or what the hell was a Danza?
If anything, the last question worried both Ventus and Soran. You'd think VENTUS would be having the toughest time... seeing that his mission was on their enemies world... but neither of the brothers liked this 'Axel' guy at all. But.. Roxas wasn't going to give up.
They all went to the study to pick up some books when they met Firi there by herself. She was cleaning up some of her father's things.
"Hey Firi... do you know anything about a Danza?" Soran had asked. The chipper woman blinked and looked up, thinking. "Hmm, nope! But I'm sure there's a book here that has something about it." She giggled as she turned and looked at a large bookshelf that had a book on all the worlds that the Shee had found. They were all handwritten of course by the travelers themselves. "What world was it now?" There was a pause before the heir spoke. "Tarsa..." She blinked and looked back. "Papa is questioning you about Tarsa?" The three all eagerly nodded their head in the lie as she pulled out a book labeled Tarsa on it. She flipped through a few pages before she stopped, running her finger down the page. "AH! Here it is!" She smiled as she looked at the boys and then down at the paper.
"A Danza is a dance that every imp must do to prove themselves worthy of being called an imp. In the dance, the imp will dance with fire and must BECOME the fire. Tribal music is played, aiding the dancing imp to find the demon that lies within them and bring out it's power to make the fire dance with them. This dance can also attract other imps so it would be fair to call it a sort of underlying mating dance. Of course no imp has one lover so this imp might have their hands full." She looked back up at the boy and raised an eyebrow. "Sounds... interesting, huh?"
The brothers all looked at Roxas... who did look very well....
A C+ That was what Ventus got on his report. It had been a lot better than what he thought it would be.
But the best part was... was that... because of the test scores, their parents extended their 'grounded' time. That was fine with them! But with that fact in the back of their minds... they knew their time was running out. They would only have another month to finish their goals by themselves...
It was mid afternoon on Atteris when a blonde hair Atterian walked over to a hole in a roof. His cloak was flapping in the wind as he knelt down, looking into the darkness below. The couch was empty... and the floors around it too. There was no sight of blood though... so... Terra had to be safe... right?
He frowned but his eyes widened as he heard some footsteps from behind, and then a loud bang as someone jumped onto the building her was on. He slowly looked back, his blue eyes looking through the blonde hair as the shadow approached.
A red flag blew in the ocean breeze as a silver haired boy leaned over some rocks, sawing at a log that had fallen down. A sigh came from him as he looked up, wiping his forehead of sweat. His hair flapped in the wind as he looked out over the horizon. Sora hadn't showed up... but he wasn't surprise.
He either was busy with something else... or it was just false hopes.
He shook his head though, trying not to think of it. Sora would come... he... he had to. He could see it in those eyes... that he believed... that there were other places out there too. He started to saw at the log again, not minding the tropical sun beating down on his muscles.
On another hot place in the universe, many horned, winged creatures walked around the odd and deserted looking homes... where many of them actually slept at night. That was another odd thing about Tarsa. No one really had a home. The houses were built a long time ago... but anyone could sleep in any of them....
Unless an imp had some nice treasure...and kept it at one place. But that would be awfully foolish for an imp to do.
As for the outcast... everyone knew where HIS favorite roost was.
It was growing darker than usual and in the center of the town were a few imps hard a work, setting up something interesting. Tribal drums were place around a circle made of stones as brush and grass littered around that. Something was going to happen soon... and all the imps knew exactly was it was.
More of them were heading that way than usual... all knowing who's Danza was tonight. This would be the only night that he could make them all change their minds.

Sora grinned as Riku walked off, his heart aflutter. "You're right Selph, it wasn't hard at all." But it WAS hard keeping his wings inside because he was just so happy he could burst!
He settled for a little jig in front of the lockers, not caring who saw. "WHOOHOO!"
However his excitement was short lived as he got home and remembered the dreaded test. He hated the agreement they had to make, terrified his broken promise would cut ties with a newborn friendship. Soran knew a lot about trust, and he knew that the few weeks to come was going to very trying on his psyche as he lied again and again about who he was to Riku.
And he knew this wasn't the way to go about it, pretending to be something he wasn't, but... he didn't have any other choice. He either followed the rules until he knew he could trust Riku not to freak out; but he was aware that if he waited too long Riku would be able to accept who he was but not accept the deceit. So he knew everything had to be careful. Very, very careful.
He WANTED Riku to like him, to trust him to see him as a friend... and he was already screwing up. His nerves were on edge all day and even though they had taken the day off to sleep he found it hard too and his wings wouldn't cooperate with him and refused to draw themseleves inward.
That was probably why he, as excellent a test taker as he was, got a D. On WORLDLY affairs, something he was SUPPOSED to know down to a T. The disappoint on his mom's face, combined with all his worry, was enough to nearly send him into epileptic shock. Roxas and Ven kept telling it to cool it and relax, but they weren't really surprised when he couldn't. Sora was easily the most considerate out of them all, and whenever he felt he wronged someone, it bugged him endlessly until he amended his mistakes.
As for Roxas, he got a B- and he knew it was all thanks to Firi and her explanation of Danza. At first he had looked at it as a completely negative thing of course, as he often tended to do. Axel, trying to court someone? Axel, losing his virginity to some... some twit of an imp?! If THAT happened... then all hope really was lost.
But then it hit him. HE could be the one Axel was courting. It was crazy, irrational, risky, unreasonable and truthfully very thoughtless - but the notion of doing nothing and just watching the imp find someone else, no not only that, but becoming ONE of them when he had the potentiality of being something even better, being something that Axel could be PROUD to blossom into hurt Roxas more than he could describe.
He turned down the idea of reading the book though to learn more about Axel and his kind. when his brothers inquried why he only responded, "Because I want to learn it from him." He wanted... Axel to teach him everything about him and his kind what was the same and what was different, and he in turn could do the same. Axel may know some things, but it was a farcry from knowing everything.
He was still grounded though. He was pretty sure this was unfair since he got a B, a very, very LOW B but still. He wouldn;t complain.
A tail slunk behind the large creature much like a cat's. Yellow eyes stared from underneath the shadow of two protruding horn. His body was rather large, like that of a wildcat's, but the anatomy was different more dog-like in nature. Along his back spines shot up from his invertebre in a painful looking arranagement. The teeth were bare, but not in any defensive sort of snarl it was merely because their was something yellow clasped between his jaws. Judging from the feathers it was a bird.
The eyes stared at the other silently, before walking over to the shell-shocked blonde and without a word passed him, without a growl to ward him away from his territory or a bark to warn him away from his catch. The wolf, as it was determined from the pointed ears and long dog-shaped muzzle, jumped from the open window and onto the shelf, then again to the floor, nearly disappearing in the shadows.
Coming in? A voice called back up, shooting straight through Ven's head and glowing yellow eyes were looking up towards him inquistively.
It took all his willpower not to slip and slide on the smooth grains of sand. He was STILL getting used to the beach terrain (hell Selphie and the others found it hilarious when they played a round of volleyball and Sora could barely stand up let alone hit a ball over the net without eating sand). He was proud to say though that he didn't spill a drop of his speacial mixture - something he brought expescally for Riku.
He found it rather ironic that the first thing each of the Trinity's first gifts to their 'hopeful' charges was a drink. Though this wasn't his first visit he had made to the 'island on the horizon' it certainly felt like it since he was making the trip alone. He noticed things now better than he had before. The little trees with star-shaped fruit (paopu, VERRRRRY romantic, Selphie would say), the waterfall flowing down the mountain side, glistening with rainbows as it filled a small pool. The intricate tree-house built agaisnt the side of the mountain. The little shack that led to a bridge that connected to an outlet where the paopus were.
He curved around the side of the mountain, looking for the tell-tale gleam of hair. He hoped his momentary absence had not... destroyed all hope in Riku of finding other worlds... or friends.
He was just thinking that when he was shocked into pausing at what he found. A door... carved into the SIDE of the mountain. He had a lapse, wondering what the indians his mother had met long ago would say if they saw such disregard for the mountains. to them, everything had a life, a spirit and a name - and to harm even a rock was like harming a child. Disgraceful.
He felt a bit bad as he opened the door - but that thought was blasted away as he stepped out onto a bridges, far below the tide of water crashing against the legs of the rickety thing. He'd never seen this side before, and it was just as stunning as the front. He crossed it carefully, surprised he made it. He passed a tall tower that had a zipline crossing to the other side of the island, walked down some stone stairs - and there he was.
His cheeks darkened a bit, watching Riku as he worked, pushing and pulling the saw effortlessly, muscles tight and - oh god he was gonna faint.
Remembering he was actually supposed to be HELPING not gawking like a schoolgirl, Sora approached warily. "Riku?"
And then those eyes were back on his and he was effectively tongue-tied. "Uh... uh..." Hoenstly, he felt like such a fool in front of him - and he didn't have the right to feel it; he WAS a fool. He should have came anyways. Should of kept his promise.
The guilt cornered his stomach and proceeded to give it a kick-boxing lesson. "I'm sorry." He said then, sincerely. "For not coming. I... haven't been getting enough sleep." Truth. And ANYONE could vouch for him - or at least say that he WAS falling asleep in class. A lot. "So I sort of just collapsed and uh didn't wake up until it was too late." Half-truth. He DID collapse but he didn't sleep that long. It would of been late afternoon but he knew, from the progress he could see strewn all over this new beach, he wouldn't of been too late. "So I'm really sorry." Complete, absolute and utter truth. He;d never felt worse in his life, he was sure of it.
Noticing the sweat on the other's brow, he held out the cool drink and smiled. It looked like lemonade, but was actually a mixture made from the sweet fruit on Norn. "And here, a gift. Not an apology gift or anything - just a gift. My cooking sucks, but... well, name any drink and I bet I can make it to taste the best you've ever had."
Dark wings, made even darker as ash colored in the white like he was some sort of coloring book, fluttered restlessly an empty blue bottle thrown away carelessly. Unsurprised by the going-ons in town, he kenw what a speacial day it was, he weaved between naked imps and their slinky tails - some of them purposly trying to swipe out and trip him (apparently another courting gesture he didn't quite understand) Roxas easily got out of the crowd. He spread his wings when he finally found room and with two strong beats he was off and into the flaming orange sky, soaring carefully and as evenly as possible.
When he came level with a very familar window, he stopped ascending and snuck a peek within. He could see a flash of red - the imp busy as he got ready for his big debut. Even from here Roxas could tell the imp was trying to look good.
He hovered there, stomach a mess of nerves because this was something he had never dared try with an audience before, but as he let out a breath he felt the tangles unwinding, his mind and heart telling him to calm. If... it was meant to be, then it would happen.
And, with steeled courage, Roxas began to sing a song he made especally for the red-head: "You have often dreamed, Of a far-off place Where a great warm welcome, will be waaaaiting for you where the crowds will cheer when they see your face, and the voice keeps saying this is where you're meant to beeeeee."
He smiled when his singing caught the other's attention, bringing him to the window. He met the other's green eyes as he sang the next verse: "You will find your waaaaay You can go the distance. You'll be there somedaaay, If you can be strong. I know every mile, will be worth your whiiiiile. You would go most anywhere, To feel like you beeeeeeeeelong."
He smiled at Axel, glancing back towards thetown where the Danza was being set up before glancing back, singing the last verse, voice getting stronger and assertive: "You are on your waaaaay! You CAN go the distance! You don't care how faaaaaar, Somehow you'll be strooong. I know EVEry mile, will be worth your whiiile You would go most anywheeere To find where YOU beeeeeeeee~loooooooooong"
He smiled as his song finished. It he were to ever truthfully compose it it would be more of an instrumental than anything. Somehow he just didn't think words could fully define the imp. Just pure music, pure motion... that seemed so much more fitting.
He flapped his wings, flying closer and held out his hand, another cup of coffee in it. "Here. For a little boost." He teased.

Ventus had never seen this Atterian before. Sure he saw some pretty scary beast now and then... but this one wasn't familiar at all. His eyes narrowed as the Atterian came closer... and passed him. No growl, no snarl... no nothing.
And he knew instantly who it was when he jumped down into the library. Terra. A soft smile ran over his face as he looked down, seeing the creature disappear. So... that was what Terra looked like in that fo---
His eyes widened as he heard a voice in his head. He looked around... but it was coming from inside. He looked down, frowning a bit. Should he...? He frowned more but nodded to himself. He was the second best fighter in all of Norn... and he was only 16! He could take on one Atterian... if he had to.
Right?
He frowned as he looked around, making sure no eyes were on him before he went in and climbed down the shelves. He looked around, easily catching the yellow eyes. A slight smile ran over the blonde's face. He was missing those blue eyes... "So, looks like you're still alive...."
Riku continued to saw off a piece of the trunk when he suddenly heard sand shifting behind him. Some birds flew off as well... telling him that someone was there. He figured if he built this raft at the back of the island... he wouldn't feel so... lame was the word? about building something that didn't look all too amazing.
It didn't need to be. It just needed to get him across the ocean safely.
He continued to labor over the trunk when he suddenly heard... that voice. Sora! He looked over, his eyes catching Sora's... and a smile came to his face. He slowly got up and dusted the sand off his jeans before walking the small distance that separated him and the shorter brunette. Before he could say anything... he was cut off. Blinking, he looked down at the boy... who looked like he had done the worse thing in the world.
A soft smile ran over his features once more before he shook his head slightly. "Sora... don't worry about it." He had noticed the boy's black circles under his eyes in the last few days of school at the cafeteria. He was curious why Sora didn't seem to be getting any sleep. It wasn't like HE had to take finals...
He blinked again, his face in shock as he saw the cup. It was cold and drips were falling down from the condensation. The ice in it sloshed as it was handed over. Wow... that looked good. He laughed and took a sip. It was.... one of the best things he had ever tasted! So smooth and yet the ice crystals cooled him down as they crunched a bit between his teeth.
He looked down at the other again and smiled. "Thanks.... Sora.... and don't worry about not coming yesterday... it's my fault. I didn't exactly tell you when and where... and I know that most kids don't want to hide themselves away right after school." He handed the drink back and smiled. "But... thanks for.... just coming. And for the drink." He grinned, his eyes seemed to glow as they looked down into the blue. "Maybe sometime this summer, you can come to my house and my mom and I can make you a nice dinner. She'd like to meet you too."
He turned slowly and walked back to the log, picking up the saw. "You can hold it for now... it will keep you cool." He looked over his shoulder before working on cutting off a piece. "So... Sora... how come you haven't been able to sleep lately?"
In a room high above the center of two, a small tail wagged back and forth as frail fingers were hard at work. He needed... to look perfect. He slowly looked down, seeing his reflection in a pot of lava that he kept to keep the room warmer. He had painted under his eyes with coal and ask, what would look like if he were to use eyeliner.
In his spiky hair was some rocks that had been sanded down into pebbles and then melted by bone to make into beads. They were shiny, rare rocks that were found by the lava pool. Only a few came up during the week... and one would have to act fast to get it before it melted.
Around his waist was a black rope that had oddly shaped things on it. When they touched, they made a sort of noise. It was like he was wearing bangles. However, if you looked closely, it was actually boned that had cuts in them so they all sounded different. Next to the bones were round hollow rocks that held a smaller rock inside. Much like a bell. He was also wore these around his wrists and ankles. A cloth was now the only thing from keeping him from being bare naked... but as for his ass, it was much like a thong, his little tail finding it easy to poke out.
His wings flapped softly as he put the last of the beads in his hair when he hear another pair of wings flap outside the window. It could be just someone passing by or....
His eyes widened... suddenly hearing something. Something... wonderful. Song. Imps had a weakness for music and song... and everyone knew that. He looked back... seeing who the person was. Prince Roxas... He swallowed, just listening to that voice. It was as it if was a Siren song... for it made him stand... and go to the window.
He was fascinated... like in some sort of trance. His exotic eyes looked into the blue, hearing the very soul from the song.
When it was over, all he could do was blink... and suddenly a hot cup was placed in front of him. He took it slowly, again not minding how hot it was as he took a sip. It was... different from before. A... different kind of flavor. Slowly he looked up at Roxas who was fluttering and smiled softly... though it wasn't true. It was full of uncertainty. "Rox---"
"ZOTTO!" A loud cry was heard from below and Axel looked down, seeing his fire haired brother in the crowd, waving him down. He frowned, looking up at the sky. It was swirling in an orange glow. The Danza was about to begin...
He looked back up at Roxas and slowly handed him the cup back. "I have to do this..." He said, slowly climbing out from the stone window and perched on it, over looking everything. He glanced at Roxas before pushing himself off and gliding down below. "But no one said I had to accept anyone..." A grin ran over his features as he flew down, landing next to the circle.
His brother's main mateS were standing around him, the girls running their hands over his bare skin as the two males stayed somewhat close by. "Finally the little guy gets to show his stuff, zotto." He grinned, his larger wings flapping slightly. He gave his brother a nod, his own facial markings glowing as the brush and sticks suddenly burst into flames.
The green eyes from both brothers glowed as Axel slowly walked into the ring of fire. Some imps sat down in front of the drums as they watched the 'baby' imp looked around nervously.
All eyes were on him... and he could only see a glimpse of Roxas. He frowned, looking down... but he couldn't think for long. The drums started... and the claps of the imps that circled around him. He looked around, feeling the drum in his blood. The music quickly got to him... like most imps.
The sky grew darker as the twist of orange started to grow above the circle. Axel slowly rose his arms, looking up at the twist. Black nails started to grow longer as a sudden blast of fire shot out and up into the sky, about a mile high. It flared out and started to swirl, disbursing to reveal the demon in the circle of fire.
The drums started to beat louder as the clapping grew heavier. The thin man's body started to say... as if he was in a trace again. The purple marks under his eyes started to glow as his hip suddenly started to shake.
From that point on... the next three minutes would be a show of fire. Fire flowed from his arms, making it look as if he had phoenix wings. The 'bells' and 'bangles' jingled as he moved his hips in a delicious manner. The fire grew a deep red fire as shadows danced under his feet. It looked as if smaller demons were dancing about his feet. If once weren't so memorized by the fire, it would look pretty odd for this body that was have encased with fire, dancing alone in a circle.
The beat started to pick up as the fire grew different colors. His feet never touched outside the ring of rocks that had been placed down. More fire wrapped around him and off him, whisping off him as each move from the imp seemed perfect.
From so much fire, his body became drenched with sweat. It was starting to look as if he had just come inside from a rain storm. As his wet hips twitched, making the rope shift only slightly to give it a perfect sound, the green, now glowing eyes, looked up, meeting the blue that he had come to know so well. He panted softly as he opened his mouth, a devilish tongue slipping out around fangs as it slowly licks wet lips.

Terra heard the other following - well he had invited him. Not like the blonde had ever NEEDED one before. His tails wished behind him almost dismissively as he turned his back on the other, trotting over to the reading table by the couch. It was stacked up with books, some still open, their pages laying for all too see. In the middle was a worn piece of paper written in ink long ago, faded with time and creased with care. almost everything on it was crossed out, except for the word at the very end.
Terra walked over to a cleared part of the table, dropping his kill atop it, and tiptoed away down another aisle, leaving Ven and his words behind.
Their was some sounds of movement, cloth fluttering, and then suddenly Terra was back, dressed and yes looking very healthy. His natural color was back in his cheeks, his blue eyes shimmering with their old life and his smirk and stance more self-assured and cocky. It was a side Ven hadn't seen.
"Of course I'm alive. I told you already, I don't have time for death when I have a mission to complete." He said disregardingly, picking up a book - a cookbook and flipped some pages before pausing, reading some lines quickly.
He walked over to his bird, grabbing it by its ankle and holding it up. "Looking for a snack?" He grinned devilishly. "Pillaged it off of the Kallis family. Absentminded fools." He started to pull off the bright yellow feathers. "I read about these. They're chocobos. Race birds. Funny I figured they'd be bigger."
Sora blinked looking at Riku as he took a sip, seeing the pleased look that spread across the other's lips. He grinned. He liked it! He would have to make a ntoe of this recipe!
"Ah," Sora started as Riku spoke, wanting to correct the other that he HAD told him where and that he hadn't actually been hiding he was just being a 'good' boy studying for his tests, but seeing as one he was getting off of skipping yesterday without a hitch in their blooming relationship, he decided to just smile. "You're welcome, though I was happy to do it."
His grin grew at the invitation and he nodded. "I'd love to!" He cheered. He wanted to meet Riku's mom more than anything! He wondered what she would be like? Firi with her bubbly sweetness? His mother are her strict lessons but kind touches? Or... like Grandma Diliza and her complete disregardance?
Suddenly a new question came up and he tilted his head and he smiled. He had become so instantly relaxed around the silverette the words just spilled from his mouth without taking a detour to run through his logical mind. "I've been home."
The saw made a weird noise as it's cut went lopsided and Riku gave him the strangest and most unbelievable of looks. Sora snapped out of his daze, quickly rerunning over his last answer and eyes widened at the realization. Oh shit.
"I don't mean that way!" The nervous brunette suddenly took a seat on one of the logs Riku had found, the pictuesqwue of embaressment as if what he had to reveal was rather childish.
"Do you know Selphie can't even remember her parents names? Or... or Tidus can't remember their faces? Wakka says he doesn't even have voices." He looked at the cup, swirling the liquid within and sighed. "But I only 'got lost' two weeks ago Riku. I still remember mom and dad and my brothers Roxas and Ven - we're triplets. I... it's hard to sleep when I can just... pretend I'm back home with them. Doing the things I had always done with them." It wasn't a total lie, IF he had ever actually been seperated for eternity from his family he knew that would be exactly how he'd react. But he hated like sounding like such an angsty sap when he really wasn't. Just a kid leading a double life.
The silverette had paused, looking intriqued and Soran knew he had his attention. "I don't even know... what happened. One minute I'm there with my brothers, the next there's this big bright flash and tahdah here I am. I... I wonder if they gotten taken away too. I keep hoping I would find them on this island so I kept looking all the time so thats why... I missed a lot of class." Huh he was pretty good at this lying thing. How horrible!
"I keep wondering if they're worrying about me or wondering about me... if they've made it through Latium's boring lessons alright without me. I wonder if my parents think ran away or if I'm dead. I just... can't stop thinking so I can't sleep." He was shaking - actually shaking. But it had nothing to do with acting anymore. He was actually seeing it. Being all alone that is. Without his brothers and his mom and dad. Of them... maybe being slaughters by Atterians or-or killed by some other rival of theirs.
Being royalty he, Ven and Roxas were trained endlessly on emergency situations of 'what ifs'. It was some of his most hated lessons with Latium. It was a magically induced simulation that brought forth between the viewer's eyes realistic situations that COULD happen at any given time.
Most of them revovled around the death of family members, particularily their parents, sometimes around losing Gin or someone of high importance that would need to be sufficently mourned for and replaced just as quickly.
But he remembered once Latium had seperated them all and did it one on one - but it was no longer just their parents. It was everything. His brothers, Gin, the royal families, teenagers, couples, singles, children - a true massacre. Roxas had come out of that one shaking like he had come down with fever. Ventus had paled as if he were going to throw up.
But he... he cried. He just couldn't imagine losing everyone and everything he ever cared for, couldn't imagine having to rebuild without anyone at his side.
He remembere dlater Latium had told his parents that "Sora has a heart that's one of a kind but weak in sight of truly devestating circumstances." He remembered being rather insulted but too busy blubbering into his mom's dress to speak up.
Roxas fluttered nervously, waiting for Axel's response - which never came. A yell of that strange word he STILL didn;t understand came up from the base of the mountain and both he and Axel snuck a look down, seeing the red-head Roxas easily recognized the imp's brothers easily.
He looked back at Axel slowly and sighed a bit, but slowly nodded. "I know..." He murmured, taking the cup back slowly. His cheeks darkened a little as the red-head came out and gave him a better looksie before the other shot past in a soundwave of rings bells and jingling bracelets not unlike Demyx's emsemble.
"But no one said I had to accept anyone..."
"Hu-" Roxas spun around, only to blush a brillant red as he got a eyeful of ass, tail twisting tauntingly. Ho-ly shit that thing wasn't going to hold up in that dance at all.
Momentarily stunned Roxas didn't think about catching up until Axel was already on the ground have a quick talk with his brother. He blinked himself out of it, fluttered his wings and fell down to where the Danza would take place, amazing by how many of the other imps had come to watch.
Maybe they were hear to laugh, thinking Axel would fail. The thought sent a shot of anger through his heart. Still their were so many others - and let's face it he wasn't exactly a lighthouse - so he had to shift and shove just to get to a place where he could see Axel as the dance began.
And began it did. The drums started with a continious beat, and the others around him started to clap in time. Roxas, knowing nothing better, followed their lead, still snaking around people to get a better placement as Axel's dance began. He had just gotten a row behind the front when Axel's hand shot up, the ringing of bracelets accomping the movement a fire roared. Te blonde Shee watched in awe as it shot up and lit up the sky, adding to his wonderous color but shaping into soemthing deadly and disturbing. His eyes however quickly were drawn back to Axel watching his every move, seeing him in all his natural glory.
And suddenly everyone else was gone from his senses. He could almost imagine this dance was for him and him alone. Every movement was perfect and deliberate, every shot of fire danced around Axel like tantlizing snakes, lighting up his features, his alabastor skin, his abs, his nipples, his exotic eyes, his hips, his ass. It was a fucking turn on was what it was!
Roxas bit onto his lip hard, not even realizing his clapping has ceased long ago. His fingers curled around the collar of his shirt, merely to hold onto something, revealing more of his neck. Another had bunched up some of the loose fabric of his pants on his outer thigh, and he had to hold back a groan as the shift caused the rough fabric to brush against a suddenly very hard and sensitive part of anatomy. God, he fucking hated being a teenaged male.
But then something happened that he didn't expect. Their eyes locked and Roxas' lungs stopped cooperating. He couldn't draw a breath, his wide eyes staring back, watching every movement of the imp's tongue and unable to hold back a soft whimper of desire. Fuck, if he jacked-off right now he wondered how the imps would react. His fingers still against his legs twitched, eager to try out that idea but he held back.
Fuck, screw that, he'd just jump Axel right now and get it over with. He obviously didn't do that either. He couldn't mess up Axel's dance.
In a positively futile attempt to get back at the other he lidded his eyelids, gave the other a pleased smile and ran a hand up his neck, gliding over his cheek and tangling into blonde hair.

Ventus frowned as the looked over, seeing the dead... and very yellow bird laying on the table. He knew exactly what it was... a chocobo... and a baby one too. Slowly he walked over, looking down at the bird more before slowly reaching out and pet its beak. He learned that people would ride them to get to places, like some people used horses. They were cheerful and fun to race and train.
He blinked though, looking up as Terra walked out of the shadows. His blue eyes widened, finally seeing the Atterian with all his health... and... look at those abs... His palms started to sweat as he gave Terra a once over but looked away, not wanting to see how those muscles stretched as he looked through the cookbook. The last thing he needed to do... was fall in love with an... Atterian....
As he looked away, he spotted something laying between a book. It was an old paper, rough and worn... and writing was on it, scribbled or crossed out... except for one. This had to of been what Terra was talking about. His 'mission'. He reached over, eying Terra so he wouldn't see as he pulled up the page and read it.
ADHAMH AKAMU DIMITAR DMYTRO MILTIADES DEMI HATORI
He frowned, reading over the names. What was this...? He slowly looked up as he got the question and frowned more, seeing the poor bird upside down. "Y-yea... sure. It looks pretty tasty." He licked his lips... though his stomach turned.
Riku continued to saw when he heard something... extremely strange. His hand turned, making the saw break through.... but not at the angle he had wanted. He looked back, his eyes dark from wonder. What did he mean.... home? Why would that cause him not to slee--
He frowned though as Sora started to explain. He was a triplet, huh? He looked down, slowly sitting on the sand... and just.... listening. His heart started to hurt as he heard how Sora's voice was changing as he continued to explain. He slowly looked down, picking up the log and saw, slowly fixing it. "I... understand. I'm sorry, Sora... I didn't realize... how tough it must be. Some of the kids at school... they say I don't understand." He stopped, his eyes narrowing. "Maybe I don't... but... that doesn't mean..."
He paused for a moment. "That doesn't mean that I'm different..." He sighed, slowly working on the log again. "Some of the kids think it's better to be independent and don't need parents... but I know there's times when... you just need someone... you know?" He asked sadly as the wind blew through his hair.
The exotic eyes saw the motion, making him lick his lips one more time before looked away... continuing what he had to do. Roxas was right... as far as the cloth was concerned, it couldn't hide all that he had. Luckily... that wasn't as small as everything else.
The dance had ended as quickly as it started. A few loud beats warned the time, and Axel stopped, all the fire disbursing all at once, mixing with the ashes to make a small light show of red, orange and yellow flickers. His 'phoenix' flew up into the orange of the sky and disbursed, cracking down more ash that usual.
He closed his eyes as he let it rain down on him, his once semi spiky hair now completely damped with sweat. Everyone had stopped clapping as they all looked at him, some more interested that others. He glance around before a sudden movement made everyone back up. His wings spread dramatically, flapping off the ash that had landed on it.
He beat them a few times before he was off and headed straight for the room that he called his own. As he landed on the sill, he stumbled in, panting hard. Sweat ran down his body as he stumbled onto his bed. His body was weak and his mind wild. It felt like he could never claim his breath again. His eyes looked out to the window.... seeing if anyone followed.
If imps attracted others from this dance, they would immediately follow it to the place where they wanted to... you know. This was also the time where it was set in stone if the imp was a alpha or not. After Reno's Danza, he had attracted five imps... who took him all at once. Even if he was the bottom, he made sure that he got HIS way.
This made him an alpha... and the five now followed him wherever he went.
But Axel heard no wings coming after him... He panted more, looking down as he felt his blood rush. His... dance wasn't good enough...? No one was... His eyes widened as he heard claws at his window and looked up, seeing a familiar redheaded imp looking in at him. It was the same one that Roxas had met that day, telling him about the lava pool. "H-houri...." He panted as he looked at her. She didn't move from his window though, her eyes uncertain.
And that was when it happened.
She... just flew away. His eyes widened, feeling tear slowly run down his face... not knowing if it was actually that or sweat as he continue to pant hard. He knew it though.... Women didn't want his children because they were afraid they would come out just like Axel. Men didn't want to be degraded because they had such an unwanted cohort.
Danzas were for some imps to attract MORE imps... while for some others, it was to attract imps for the first time. For Axel... it was a lot of hard work... for nothing.

Terra watched the other closely, seeing that the look on the other's face was not one of joy. Interesting. What the hell did he eat then? "If it makes you feel better it was dead BEFORE I caught it."
He set the bird down however, seeing the other holding onto his old sheet of paper. He sighed, reaching out and taking it from him. "I bet you don't even know one person on here."
He didn't have to wait for a confirmation or even look up. "Let me clue you in. This is my mission. All these people," He pointed at the crossed out names, "Are the ones who ate the remains of my mother. They're dead."
"This one," He pointed at the last name. "Is my father. He killed her personally and he's going to die before I turn twenty. Happy?" He threw the paper on the table but his eyes were dark with sadness and fury.
Sora looked up at Riku as the other spoke, and smiled suddenly. "Just because you haven't been through it doesn't mean you can't empathize." He clarified, getting a nod.
He was quiet for a moment then he grinned. "You know what Riku? It's okay. For you to have a mom and stuff." He looked down at the sand. He had figured it out a long time ago. This world was like Traverse Town. A world where the lost went when they were taken from their worlds. Rarely were any of Traverse true natives either but the scene was much the same.
"It doesn't make you different." The brunette agreed. "Because no one here NEVER had a mom or dad. I mean we aren't born from pods." He joked. "It's kinda sad when... envy and forgetfulness stops others from doing things." He looked down, thinking of Roxas and the imps. He wondered how the blonde was holding up.
"But, hey... at least your not like everyone else. I bet you cherish what connections your heart does have with others instead of throwing them away carelessly like some people do." He looked up and smiled. "One precious friendship is better than a hundred dysfunctional ones."
It was over. Roxas, though distracted, watched the pheonix as it flew up and burst into a wide display of lights. it was a stunning display of grace, sexuality and strength - and though this was his FIRST Danza he was quite sure he'd never see another quite as beautiful or stunning.
Then Axel was gone, flying back to his home. And Roxas stood their and waited. This was the moment of truth. Reno had clued him in on what SHOULD happen next - and he had caught the hopeful tone in the other's voice when he had explained. Strangely, Reno did care about his little brother.
Some of the imps twitched and twittered obviously interested, some of them just turned and walked off. But one, the greedy female he recognized, flew up towards the window. his heart stopped and he told himself mentally over and over again that it was okay. That Axel desereved happiness and that he could never find it with hi-
Hey why was she flying away?!
He didn't know why, but suddenly he was not only angry at the other's complete ruthlessness the imps took with Axel - but was incredibly relieved. The talk that burst around him even some chuckles made his blood boil again however. He growled softly, shoving past some of them. "Idiots." He said, and with a spread of his wings he flew up and towards the window.
He hovered there placing his arms against the sill and looked in, uncertain but for another reason. He doubted he was welcome. He wasn't an imp. "A-Axel?"

Roxas frowned as the bird was place down. Yea... that made him feel a bit better... He understood that some had to steal to eat and survive. Something that no Shee had to do. He bit his lip though as Terra walked over... and yanked the paper right from his hand.
He frowned more, even growled a bit but stopped as Terra started to explain. "All these people are the ones who ate the remains of my mother. They're dead." His stomach started to turn even more as his face started to pale. "Is my father. He killed her personally and he's going to die before I turn twenty."
He quickly understood. Terra had killed these people... and his father was next. It was a hit list.... He wrapped his arms around himself as he stared at the list. "Wh-why did he kill your mother...?" Obviously she had to of showed some kind of weakness... or she had lost a fight to his father....
Riku wrapped the log to another, skillful tying it so that they wouldn't break or shift a part. He looked back, into those blue eyes and smiled. "Yea... I guess you're right..." He stood and wiped more sweat from his forehead as he walked over and sat down next to Sora. He looked at the shape of the raft. It probably will take a few more days...
He looked over at the other and smile, taking the drink softly and sipping on it. Still as refreshing as the first sip. "Well... I hope you like Destiny... even if you're heart is somewhere else."
Axel continued to pant as he shook his head, the beads in his hair making a pretty sound. He looked away, his body twitching from the sexual tension. He closed his eyes though as he heard a voice... and he knew exactly who it was.
"It's true..." He whimpered as he slowly laid down on the bed, his wings carelessly thrown and mangled around him. "I'll never be accepted..." Not getting a single mate after a Danza was a disgrace on Tarsa. Not even his own brother came to his aid.
More tears ran down his face. Now... he knew that those rocks were going to be thrown a lot harder from now on...

Terra was quiet for a moment before he sighed, "Because she loved me." He turned away walking over to the couch, no longer hungry. He sat down staring at the durty stone beeath his feet.
"And because she was 'poisoning' me into weakness by loving me." He snarled. "My mom was the bravest Atterian to ever live because she did something no one else is fucking courageous enough to and my father's a fucking fool for not seeing that."
He looked up at Ven, his eyes deadly serious as he growled. "And if you fucking say anything otherwise I will tear your throat out."
Sora smiled softly. "My heart can be anywhere where friends are." He looked at Riku. "This place is like a little paradise in the middle of a vast ocean of black." He looked up at the sky, as if seeing the stars.
He chuckled, blushing some. "But, there's so much more to see. I'm sure of that." He looked down suddenly. "I bet there are lots of worlds... without people like us."
The two sat their in silence for a few minutes, just enjoying the sound of the rolling ocean, the noise of birds calling to one another, the rustling of the trees behind them. "Hey!" Sora said suddenly, as if the thought suddenly occured to him. "What would you think if we met people with wings? Like not costumes, but honest to goodness wings? Fairies and stuff?"
Roxas bit his lip, uncertain of what he was about to do. He... He wasn't even sure he WANTED to. Well, his hormones were screaming otherwise but...
He shut his eyes, trying to block out his logical side, his side screaming that something like this had to wait for marriage and love and all the good things. That... he was thinking like a black-wing if he did this.
Roxas drew in his wings and suddenly pulled himself in.
His parents would be so disappointed.
"Axel..." He murmured, shyly as he walked over. He was testing the water as he sat down on the bed. He reached out, tugging at Axel's little wings and straightening them with care, fingers running carefully along the tough leathery feel of them. "What sounds more speacial to you? Having five imps that fall at your feet like your brother..." He reached up, cupping Axel's face in his hands and brushing away the tears slowly, forcing their eyes to meet, blue clashing with green.
"Or having one that loves you down to their very soul?"

Blue eyes widened... as he heard that world. Love. "Those Renki don't eve know what the world love means!" The woman frowned. "Firi! You know you can't say that word anymore!" Her father scolder her, even at her age.
He looked down, listening to Terra. He couldn't help butfeel his stomach turn even MORE. By now, there was no way he could eat... because there was no place for food to sit. Tears started to collect in his eyes, no matter how hard he tried to hold them back.
So... that was why they could never believe that some Atterians could love... because their own race killed them off...
With his eyes full of tears, he slowly walked to the couch and sat down. They sat in silence before he slowly looked up. "Did you really think... that killing all these people.... would.... bring your mother back...?" He asked, his eyes true and brave... but soft and comforting. It was a simple question, with a teaching behind it.
Hell... he couldn't imagine his father killing his mother just because he loved her boys... He'd probably want to kill him too. But he wouldn't... he.... he couldn't....
Riku nodded as he listened to the other, not really saying anything. They looked up at the sky, watching the clouds pass as the colors changed, turning from blue to a gold color as the sun started to set.
He blinked though as Sora broke the silence and looked over. His eyes widened and he chuckled a bit. "Fairies? I don't think I'll find fairies out there." He shook his head and chuckled again. "I don't know.. I guess it would be interesting. He looked off before looking back at Sora. "Why... do you think there's fairies out there?"
Axel didn't shift as Roxas sat on the bed. He continue to twitch and pant... until his face was picked up... and he was staring right at the Shee. His eyes widened a bit, he he pulled away and sat up. "What do you know about love? You're only 16..." He panted out, his voice irregular and uncaring.
He looked down, his face extremely sad. "What do I know about love.... and I'm 21!" He pulled off his bracelets and threw them violently across the room. His wings wrapped around him as they sat in silence. Slowly he turned his head back to Roxas, but he still looked down at the floor. "Imps don't know what love means... Roxas." He said softly, deep sadness in every word. "We grow up... not even knowing our parents. We have to raise ourselves on the bases of how the adult imps act. They say the smell of an imp can tell you if you're related to them or not... but all the others smell the same..."
He slowly looked up, a crushed expression on his face. "We thrive to fit in with the rest, the sin acting kind for us. We learn quick that tricks can be entertaining and a survival lesson... " He looked away, sighing softly as his breath was slowly calming down. "This is a horrible place Roxas... a place that someone who has a heart like yours should stay far, far away from..."

Terra was silent watching Ven walk over, eyes widened a bit when he say the tears. He looked away, conflicted, but when he heard the question he snorted.
"I'm not stupid Ven, I know killing them won't bring her back..." He leaned back. "I was nine. I WATCHED it happen. Makes for a lot of anger..." He shut his eyes, shivering as if imagining the sight once more. "It's not like I have a choice. It's either I do it and get stronger or let me dad kill me."
"You aren't an Atterian are you?" He accused suddenly, looking at Ven. He had suspected it the first time they had met, but each time the other came around he became more and more certain of it. Ven didn't belong here. His scent didn't match with the world, his actions and words weren't matching with any Atterian's personality - not even his mother's, and even if he WAS someone trying to vy for his attention and become his mate... he would of made a move by now.
Sora looked at Riku smiling as if he knew something the other didn't. "Why not? Lifes full of surprises!" He looked up. "Besides if almost every star is a world why couldn't there be? And dragons, and shapeshifters and trools and nymphs and things that don't even have names they're that original and amazing!" He laughed.
"Or do I just sound silly?" He said with a uncertain smile as he looked across the ocean which was suddenly a burst of color.
Roxas was quiet as he let the other rant, unable to meet his eyes suddenly, wings folding up behind him. He winced as he heard the bracelets hitting the walls, some of them breaking from the force.
"Imps don't know what love means... Roxas."
He shook his head slowly, trying to deny that, but Axel wasn't done. But when Axel suddenly told him to, in laymens terms, go away, that was enough for the blonde.
He stood up and turned away, wings flaring out. "What the hell is WRONG with you?! And the Atterians god!" He threw his hands up, growling. "Love isn't something TAUGHT Axel. Everyone has to learn what the hell it is on their own!"
He glared down at the other. "It's the willingness to learn that you don't have." He looked away, his heart twisting with hurt suddenly. "I don't think you really want anyone with you at all. You must LIKE being alone huh?"

Ven frowned. That wasn't true. Terra had a choice. Maybe... by doing this... that Hatori guy just wanted to prove Terra was weak... because he was killing with the love of his mother's death. That proved that Terra did what his heart wanted... and...
Before he could point all of this out, Terra suddenly shot something at him. He frowned more and looked away. Shit... he really wasn't acting like an Atterian lately... was he? It wasn't like it was easy not to give a damn... not after being taught how much one should care.
He stood and walked over to where the chocobo was. His eyes darkened as he suddenly reached down... and RIPPED a wing off. The blood splattered on the floor but he looked back at Terra. "You think someone would be stupid enough to come to our world that isn't?" He asked seriously before putting the wing near his mouth. "I get the hint. You don't want me around anymore. Fine... I'm off then. Good luck with killing your father."
He pushed the wing in his mouth, some of the remaining feathers sticking out as he started up the bookshelf.
Riku blinked as Sora continued. He chuckled, hearing all the bazaar ideas the other had. He shook his head, looking up at the clearing sky, also seeing some signs of the stars. He smiled softly as he heard Sora's question, not looking at the brunette as he thought of an answer.
"I would sound silly to others I suppose..." He looked down but his smile remained. "You know... everyone thinks I sound silly because I believe there's other worlds beyond the horizon... but I really believe it." Slowly he looked over, his aquamarine eyes peering through the silver strands. "But... if you really believe in something... it doesn't matter what people think." He slowly leaned closer, his eyes brightening as he looked deep into the blue. "Wither they sound silly... or not...."
They stared into each other's eyes again... like the first day they had seen each other. Some sort of... trace.... but that all ended when another set of feet walked over. "Riku!" The silverette blinked and looked up, seeing a very familiar woman and stood. "Kairi..." The redhead smiled as she looked down at Sora. "Hey Sora! I was wondering where you two were!" She looked over at the raft and smiled. "So, how's it coming?"
The silverette rubbed the back of his neck, some redness in his cheeks. "Alright I guess." Kairi smiled as she wrapped her hand around Riku's. "It's getting late, we should go have dinner." She looked back at Sora and smiled. "You want to come too?"
Axel blinked as Roxas stood, seeing the black and white wings flare out. He could only grin in bitter way as he listened to the heir of the Norn thrown rant and rave. He slowly stood himself, feeling the other's eyes on him. "And here I was... thinking the Shee were much more understanding." He turned, looking out the other window that peered down into the heart of a volcano.
His wings flapped a bit as he smiled. "Oh Norn... once Roxas is a king, hold on for the ride..." He said softly before pulled the rope from his waist. "I don't remember saying that I wanted to be alone... or that I wanted you to leave. It's not that I don't have the willingness. Did you ever think that I was scared... or... maybe... you know... tradition on our races own customs."
He turned around, his weak, crushed and sad look pushed away as his bitter eyes met Roxas. "I didn't want you to be in the place... because I don't want anything bad to run off on you. I guess... it's too late anyway... because you've become pretty selfish. You want me." He put bluntly, a smirk on his face. "And you'll do whatever it takes to have me. That sounds pretty greedy, don't you think? Boy... you sure do fit a king's description." He smirked as he slowly pulled down his cloth.
"If I wanted to you get out... you'd know it." He looked down, before quickly looking up. "So get out."

Terra jumped at the violent reaction his eyes narrowing a bit. What happened to the green face? He was uncertain though if it was an act... or not.
But he WAS certain... that he was getting cheated out of some of his dinner and losing a... friend.
He growled suddenly running forward and then jumped. Four heavy paws landed on the shelfs, fast feet running over towards the open window and blocking it. He snarled down at where Ven was still climbing.
"I don't believe you. Change." He demanded, Ven's scent meeting him even stronger now. It breathed of exoticism.
Sora looked over at Riku, his eyes once again caught in the aquamarine gaze and hyponotized by his voice. He shivered from head to toe as Riku suddenly got closer, until he could feel the other's breath running along his cheeks. His eyes started to lid, heart beating with confused anticipation. "Ri-"
"Riku!"
And just like that the spell was broken. Sora almost fell backwards he wheeled away so fast, cheeks completely flushed. He shot his gaze over towards the one who had interuppted and suddenly felt guilty again at his previous thoughts. he KNEW what they had been about to do...
And damn it Riku had a girlfriend. And his parents would kill him and and...
And why couldn't she of come just two minutes later?
He looked up when Kairi gave the invitation and shook his head, smiling. "Uh no I uh wouldn't want to intrude."
Roxas fists curled into into fists as anger rolled over him at the other's comments. But they stung. Because they weren't true.
Or maybe they were. Maybe he was greedy and selfish. Maybe he was... changing.
And why the hell was Axel UNDRESSING damn it?! Was he TRYING to fuck with his head?!
He turned his eyes away, shutting them quickly to hide away the sight. His wings behind him twisted oddly suddenly and then slowly he drew them inside, the glow fading. All that was left to illuminated them was the light from outside and the vat of lava in the room.
"No." He said, meeting Axel's eyes and he relized how right he was proving the other. But he was sick of running away each time Axel made him feel bad. "I need you to answer something for me." He walked forward until he was right in front of the other's his eyes never staring from the other's face. He wasn't sure if that was a compliment in the other's eyes or an insult.
"Since I tried to initate a friendship with you not because of how big your wings were or how large your horns but because I honestly WANT to get to know you that makes me selfish? Because I didn't want to give up because my heart told me not to and that you truly desereved someone to care about you that makes me selfish? Because I WANT you, want your attention on me and want you to smile for me and want you to laugh with me and love me... that makes me selfish?"
He couldn't help it now as tears started to water in his eyes. He didn't understand how Sora could do this - hide his wings and be emotional at the same time. "Because I don't want... I don't want to fuck you because I'd rather make LOVE to you... Well I dunno Axel DOES that make me selfish?! Since you're such an EXPERT on Greed I'm sure you can answer me."

Ven frowned as he climbed up... but suddenly something loud and heavy jumped up and raced to where he was headed. His blue eyes widened as he saw the beast blocking the way. For the first time that he stepped on Atteris... he felt fear run down his spine.
Obviously he couldn't change... and it looked like Terra was pissed. He didn't want to be another on Terra's list. He knew there was nothing he could do to get away either. Shit... if he was any other race he would of admitted it... but not the Atterian's rival. He couldn't admit he was a Shee...
But he did the first thing that came to mind. His deep blue eyes darkened as he suddenly spat the wing at the other's nose, clouding it with the scent of blood as he growled. He quickly pushed himself up and squeezed through the little bit of the exit that wasn't blocked. He panted as he got to the roof and looked back, seeing those yellow eyes... and the pounce.
He sprang forward though and jumped away, hearing the heavy paws behind him. He jumped from a roof down into the sand and sprang off towards the desert, running as fast as he could. This wasn't was he was planning. The minute Terra went out of sight, a portal opened quickly and the biy ran through, closing up almost as fast.
When Terra came over the dune, the boy was gone.
Kairi frowned but smiled. "Alright then! have a good night!" She waved back before looking up at Riku and smiled before dragging him along.
Riku looked back, his eyes seeming to glow under the stars. The expression on his face... was longing... "See you tomorrow Sora..." His voice was dull, and emotionless... not like what it sounded as they had talked. Before he could say much more, they were gone.
Axel held his ground as Roxas walked over... a bit shocked that they were now in the darkness completely... and for the first time... he had seen the boy without his wings.
His face grew long as a simple expression was put on his face as he listened. Inside, his heart was flinching at every word. His eyes slowly started to show his hurt, every word Roxas had said had hit him like a ton of coal rocks being thrown at him. His wings slowly dropped, as so did his tail.
He glanced away as Roxas was waiting for an answer.... but... he gave him an answer that he knew the boy would of never guessed to get. Frail fingers reached up and ran down his jaw softly before thumbs reached up.... and pushed away the tears. Then, long limbs wrapped around Roxas... and pulled him close.... into a hug.
Black wings flapped slightly as they stood like that for a moment before the taller pressed his face against Roxas's forehead. His green eyes were sad as he was in thought. The only answer he could really give him was... "I'm sorry...." He pulled away softly, leaving a single kiss on the blonde's forehead.
