Terra was surprised as the wing smacked him and he shook his head. He snarled and twisted his head around, jumping out of the window and after him.
He was fast as a wolf - but to his amazement the blonde continued to outdistance him thanks to his monentary surprise and his scent being clouded with blood.
He made it to the desert and he paused, looking elft and right for any sign of the blonde. He sat down slowly when he found none, his ears pressing down against his head.
Why are you hiding from me? He turned and went back towards his home.
That night he plucked the chicken and roasted in a safe isolated spot in the library; he added some spices he had stolen from another family awhile ago and ate without comment. All that left where the bones... and one wing of the chicken that had been cooked but left untouched.
But Ven... didn't return.
Sora tilted his head, smiling sadly. "Bye Riku." He called after.
And it was a good thing they had left when they did because suddenly he felt terror, his eyes turning to a bright shade of orange and a beeping of his watch made him look down suddenly frantic. When he saw the U he jumped to his feet. Ven.
Blue wings burst into sight under the twilight, there was a glow of whiteness and then Sora was gone.
He reappeared in the dead of the night on Norn, the fountain loudly splashing behind him as he looked around frantically, seeking out his brother.
Roxas stood there, breathing shakily and waited for an answer. He was... almost afraid of what the other going to say.
But to his shock, the other said nothing. And before he knew it, the tears were being wiped away and he was being tugged into a hug. Despite his shock, he was still horribly away that Axel was rather under-dressed. And... was warm. Really... really warm. He could almost melt.
He was caught off guard by the apology and even more so by the kiss. He blinked dazedly, a dazed smile that jsut screamed lovey-dovy spread across his face. "A-Axel..."
But his mirth didn't last long though and his smile quickly fell when he felt exactly what Sora did and his own blue eyes turned to yellow. He looked down at his watch in panic. "Fuck." He snapped seeing the U - and then moments later the 5. He looked at the other, frantic but confused because he HAD to go home but he didn't want to destroy whatever was happening between them.
"Axel I gotta get home. One of my brothers is in trouble." Please understand.

Ven burst out from the portal and collapsed by the fountain. He panted, know if that he didn't calm down, his parents would feel the jerk in the middle of the night and go check to make sure he was ok. He shook as he held himself after pulling off the cloak. His fire wings spread as he buried his face in his hands.
Now... now what was he going to do...? He blew it.... he blew his cover.... and.... Terra....
His blue eyes opened when he heard footsteps. He looked up, seeing a worried face. It was Soran.
Axel smiled faintly at the other as his name was said... but suddenly his eyes became sharp as a watch started to beep. He frowned as the other pulled away but nodded. "Yea..." He said disappointingly as he gave a pathetic wave to the Shee as he turned... and gone in a flash.
Ventus shook his head as Soran helped him up. "It's.... I'm ok...I'm sorry..." He frowned as she saw his twin run up too. Great... he interrupted both his brothers... Neither of them seemed to be bothered by it... just as long as Ventus was alright...
The day that followed as horrible... because they found out that they needed to take that TEST over again! How horrible as that was... Latium gave them a week to study and use his study for as long as they needed. He did this because well... he was on vacation for the week. Firi and Gin were on vacation as well... and Latium wanted to spend time with his family and granddaughter.
This left Jet and Runa to make sure they studied... and studied well.
But Ventus saw this as an opportunity. He called his brothers to Soran's room again that night... and told him his plan. Seeing how everything was developing... Ventus thought it was best... that they stayed longer for one night. As in... all night and ALL day. His other brothers cried in shock but Ventus explained.
"No no! Listen~" He whispered as he pulled them close. "We need to study real hard right? And the best way to study is by yourself in a quiet room so their no distraction. We can take turns spending the night and day on the other world, then come back. While the other is gone, the two left can vouch that the other has locked themselves up to study by themselves in the library."
They agreed. Ventus would go first... seeing that it was his idea. Soran second and Roxas last... seeing that he was the one that had gotten further in his goal than the others.
The sand acted the same, blowing in the hot breeze under the hot sun. On top a of dune, a boy stood, his same cloak over him as he looked out over the town. He had already made such an amazing bond with Terra... he couldn't think of trying to find anyone else to open their heart.
And he did say he would bring Terra to that oasis.... right?
Under his cloak was a few water bottles that he had taken from around this world and again filled it with the water from the fountain. This was to aid Terra.... They had a long trip ahead of them. Slowly he reached down and clasped his pendant that his father had given him when he was born. His eyes narrowed as he moved it, seeing the sun reflect off it and making a light flicker. He moved ti towards the glass that was over the entrance of the library. This would catch that Atterian's eye.
A boy was laboring over another log as something next to him started to take the shape of something.... something that looked like a raft. He sighed, running his arm over his forehead. He wished that he could have a sip of that heavenly drink right about now...
He looked back at when Sora had come through the other day... but there was no sign of him. He sighed, turning back and continued to cut the log. What had happened last night... couldn't get off his mind. What was he going to do...? Was he... going to kiss Sora...? But why...? He....he.....l.....l.....he liked Kairi! Liked...? He frowned, his eyes darkening.
What was going on....? Why... was his heart so eager to see the brunette again?
Some brown liquid was stirred in a heated mold as an imp hunched over it. Steam rose from it as he blew from it, swirling it around. He took a sip and smiled, his green eyes bright. "Perfect..." He placed the bowl on the floor before pulling up his leather pants.
Axel had not left his roost all night or day. He honestly didn't want to show himself. So he went into the volcano and decided that... he should make something for Roxas. When he had come back, his plans were a little delayed for his brother was waiting for him there. A few words were spoken before the long haired redhead took his leave.
He sat on his bed, sighing as he watched the liquid swirl a bit. He was hoping that the blonde would show before it cooled...

Roxas looked up, seeing Axel's disappointed face. "I'm sorry... I'll be back tommorrow." He promised, before he turned and with a spread of his wings he was gone.
And suddenly he was back, the cool air surronding him but with the blue liquid still inside it felt absolutely freezing. He shivered, but turned his head, seeing Soran and Ventus. He ran over.
Soran frowned at Ven's shaky voice helping him up and suddenly without a word enveloped him in a hug. He felt so relieved though... that his brother hadn't been hurt.
Roxas looked at Ven, looking him up and down but he didn;t see any tell-tale signs of rips or blood... so no one had hurt him. thank god. He reached over, placing his hand on the other;s shoulder. "What happened?" He asked.
Ven gave some half-assed story about some random Atterian trying to attack him and barely getting away - but Roxas and Soran both knew he was lying. As one they told him not to go back - but Ven would have none of it. He, like Roxas, was too stubborn to quit now especally when he felt he was so much closer.
After that however came the horrible news. They had to RETAKE the test. Soran just nodded sighing sadly. He had done horribly. however Roxas snapped back saying he had gotten a B- and shouldn't have to. That was above average! Their dad however made it very clear however that he expected nothing but A's from all three of them. And their mother agreed.
And then came the age old speech. "If you're going to be the King/top of communications/leader of the Peace Army you have to yadda yadda blah blah." The pressure their parents could put on them sometimes was excruiating.
"You know, I wonder if it would kill them to be happy for what we've accomplished instead of pushing us to do even better than last time." Roxas grumbled, surprisingly bitter. "Ah come on Rox, you know they do it out of love." Soran said, smiling then glancing at Ven. "Isn't that right Ven? .... Ven? Yo-hooo Ven?" He waved his hand in front of the blonde;s face, snapping him out of his trance. "Huh? Oh yeah, yeah." "What's on your mind." "Well..."
And that's when the idea came up. Automatically Soran and Roxas were against it, as was their nature, but with some sly persuasion from their middle brother, they found themseleves agreeing.
And it was the worst thing they had ever done.
Like when The guard was knocking ont he door and asking if Ven needed anything. "Prince Ven... are you there?" The guard asked. "Hurry!" Soran hissed, shoving Roxas into a room. The blonde didn't hesitate as he rushed through the empty guest room and out the window, flapping his wings and cartwheeling over the castle and into the library. Just as he was the door knob started to turn. He hastily grabbed a book and drew in his wings, taking a seat at the desk. "Prince Ven?" "Huh?" Roxas said, a little out of breath from his quick flight. He looked up. "Oh uh sorry I was just lost in how interesting this um..." He looked down. "Opera is. Uh did you need anything?" "Um... not at all your majesty, but I'm sure Latium isn't going to test you on that." "Uh ahaha you're right!" He shut the book. "Better actually study huh?" He sighed in relief when the guard finally left and soon so did he.
Or how about when their dad actually walked in and found Ven GONE. "Runa! I can't find him anywhere." Jet said, sounding somewhat ticked. "Who?" "Ventus. He wasn't in the library when I brought him lunch." Soran looked up from his lesson with his mom on 'the habits of ice-trolls' and he looked a little panicked. "Uh, I'll go find him!" "Now Soran just because you're brother's being irresponsible doesn't mean you're getting out of my lessons." "But moooom," Soran said, "I betcha I can find him real real quick." He gave her his puppy dog eyes. "...Alright Soran. But you better hurry." "I will!"
Twenty minutes later. "Urgh, why don't I just retract my wings Soran?" Roxas complained shivering as the wet red paint went over the frail wings. "Because mom and dad are gonna yell at him and you know Ven always has his wings out when he gets yelled at." He dipped his brush in orange paint, quickly added the orange as a nice touch to the red and yellow already there. "Why couldn't he be you?" Roxas grumbled. "Ah and don't forget to take hide your necklace in your shirt."
Or when it was dinner time. "Oh he still hasn't come out? I'll take him his dinner." "I'll do it mom!" Roxas and Soran said at once, before sending each other a look. "Now what is WITH you two today?" Jet said with a frown, looking at each of them. "Uh... nothing I just really wanna talk to him?" Soran said just as Roxas was saying, "Just wanted to see if he learned anything good." Jet gave them both a mysterious look, and frowned. "Runa go take him his dinner. You two I think we need to talk." "But, but!" Both boys stuttered as their mom took her leave. "No buts." Roxas started to panic as did Soran beside him as their dad started to give them a lecture about something or another. Roxas knew he had to act fast. "D-Dad." Roxas started nervously. "Uh may I go to the bathroom?" "Hold it. Now as I was saying-" "But dad," He stepped in again "I REALLY need to go." "Roxas it's not very nice to-" "I HAVE DIARRHEA!" ..... Soran started chuckling. Roxas was blushing in embaressment. "Hurry up. And Soran it's not very funny to-" Roxas was gone, jumping out the first open window he saw and racing to the window outside the study. He made it just in time, tripping over the sill and tumbling all over the ground. His wings came sliding back in and he grabbed the first book he saw - grateful it was on the one on Dragoon - as the door opened. "Ven sweetie?" "Yes mom?" Roxas asked, looking up and cursing his twin for all he was worth. "I brought you dinner." "Thanks." 'Ven' said as he took the plate, smiling, trying not to fidget. Runa looked down at the book and chuckled. "I'll give you a little hint. Dragons aren't on the test." "Really? Thanks mom!" Runa nodded. "Now don't study too hard. It's almost bedtime." She kissed his forehead before turning and walked away. She paused at the doorway however, looking back. "Strange..." "What?" "I could almost swear your wearing the same clothes Roxas is. Ah well, maybe I'm just mistaken." Roxas stared as the door shut, before cursing and shutting the door. He waiting with bated breath to see if she would come back before turning and soaring out the window for his room. He had some clothes to change.
It had better of been worth it for Ven... because when he came home his brothers were going to KILL him.
Terra sighed as he leaned against the shelves, reading a book entitled Name Dropping. It was a mystery about two woman who had the same names but different lives, and the one who believed she had a lesser life attempted to pretend to be the one with the grander life.
He was just reaching the point when the haggard woman was dealing with her monstrous preschool kids and had just gotten thrown up on when suddenly a glint caught his eye.
He dropped the book, looking up towards the open window and he frowned mistrustfully unsure if it was an enemy trying to draw him out or possibly just someone passing by but suddenly he shot off towards the window, changing within a blink of an eye.
His loud paws scuffed against the ground as he came into the rows of sheleves were the glint was coming from, and still was and paused, catching the scent. He hesitated, then prowled down the row, looking up. "Ven?" He was back!
Sora sighed as he pushed open the door in the mountain, stepping through, another drink in his hand. This one was a pale orange color. He knew a lot of recipes.
He was already pretty tired though. Between lessons and making sure Ven stayed a secret he hardly had time to relax. And for that he was barely able to keep his eyes open. But he needed to see Riku.
He was just walking across the bridge, wondering if the silverette had been working long when his thoughts were torn from him...
-as a plank of wood suddenly collasped under him. "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Sora screamed, falling quickly. Before he even thought about it his wings burst out and flapped hard, keeping him hovering just scant inches over the water. He sighed, before looking down. "Ahhhh man!" He pouted, seeing that in his fright he had crushed the cardboard cup, causing the orange substance to go dribbling all over his hand.
A yell of his name and footsteps running over the bridge however sent him in a new round of panic. He cursed his wings drawing in instinctively - and he fell into the water below.
Ugh...
Sea water did NOT taste good.
Sora emerged from the freezing water, spluttering and coughing, his eyes closed because they hadn't been prepared for the sting and he flailed around, sightless and bouyant-less. "Ack!" This caused a new problem for he had never learned how to swim.
"HELP!!"
If Soran was tired though Roxas was exhausted, and the heat of the world around him was not helping in the least. Between flying around the castle more than once to having his wings defiled while he pretended to be Ven he was ready to just collapse into bed and never wake up again.
But he had made a promise and he was intending on keeping it. He flew lazily through the orange sky, wings that still had patches of red and orange paint over them beat weakly to keep him in the air. Cleaning them in the shower had been almost impossible. His muscles in his shoulders were absolutely aching from the constant abuse he had put them through.
And if he had to hear one MORE of their dad's 'this is not how a Prince should act' lectures he thought he would just tear out his eardrums now.
He fluttered tiredly towards the window to Axel's roost, praying the other was inside so he could relax. He fluttered at the edges of the open window, glad to see the other inside, quickly maneuvering himself to sit upon the sill like he had the first time he had come to the window. "What's up?" He asked, seeing the strange concoction in the middle of the room.

OOC: xD;;; I forgot what the layout of Destiny Island looks like.
If Ventus were to see all the crap his brothers had gone through, he would of laughed his ass off. He missed a moment of his life... not hearing Roxas cry out that he had diarrhea.... at the dinner table. Maybe that was a good thing because he would of never let his brother live it down. But he knew his brothers had a lot of work cut for them... so he needed to make some big progress...
He swallowed as he heard his name in his head. It was still a bit unnerving to hear a beast talk in your head... without their lips even moving.
He pulled his pendant back and frowned, reaching into hos pocket and pulling out something gold.
The door to a small shop opened, a little bell ringing. A man turned at the counter, looking over to see who his new customer was. His gold wings shined brightly as his eyes gleamed.... but the greed on his face slowly disappeared as he realized who it was.
"Ah, your majesty" A soft bow was given to the blonde boy as he walked up to the counter. "How may I be of your service?" Ventus looked around, seeing all the beautiful jewelry that was shown on the displays before looking up at the man. "You're Fabricius, are you not? The greatest gold smith and craftsmen of Norn?" The man seemed to blush as he got the complement. "Why yes, my prince, that's what they say~"
Ven nodded before pulling his necklace off and handing it to the man. "I would like to have a gold charm... made like this symbol. I hope you won't have a problem making one... since you were the one who made these." The man took the necklace carefully and smiled, looking over it. "Why yes, of course. I remember making this. The broken cross of passion. An ancient symbol." He looked down at the boy and smiled. "I'll make you another then, made by the best gold in stock. When did you need it?"
"Now."
Fabricius's eyes widened as he nodded. "Oh! Of course, I'll start working on it right now, your grace." He bowed again before going to the back of his shop. About a hour later, the gold wing walked out, a smile on his face. "Here you are, tell me how it pleases you." He handed Ventus back his necklace and placed the new charm on a soft black pillow. He slid it over the counter for Ventus to see.
Blue eyes looked down at it, seeing his own reflection in the beautiful gold. He could already see the sands of Atteris blow across it. "It's.... perfect..."
He smiled as he saw the sand blow by, running across the smooth gold surface. Slowly he turned it around as saw the engrave on it. テラ. He put it back in his pocket before looking at the hole again. "If you want to know the truth..." He started before taking out the pendant again and something from his other pocket. A compass. This was another gift his parents gave the boys as they ventured. He looked around, figuring out what direction the oasis was.
Slowly he took the point on the charm and placed it on the roof, making it point in that direction before putting the compass away. "You'll have to catch me." He suddenly jumped off and ran towards the desert, right in the direction of the oasis.
Riku sighed as he continued to slave over the log when something caught his ear in the distance. It... sounded like someone was.... screaming. He shot up, looking around but really didn't see much. He rushed over where it led to the plank. When he reached it, all he could see was a huge splash. "SORA!"
He rushed over, falling on his knees as he looked down through the hole... and seeing Sora flailing about. Shit! He couldn't swim!? "HOLD ON, SORA! I'M COMING!" He called before looking around franticly, trying to figure what way was the fastest way to get down there. He jumped down from the ledge and pushed through the brush, getting cut along the way as the branches snagged him.
He burst through the opened and looked over, seeing Sora in a panic. He ran down towards the grove and pulled off his shoes and socks before diving in as if he was a pro swimmer. Which he actually was. He breast stroked all the way to his flailing friend and reached him quickly. "SORA!" He wrapped a strong arm around the brunette before pushing away from under the bridge and found the nearest piece of land.
When he reached the shore, he laid Sora out on his back and leaned over, his face both shocked and concerned. "Sora! Sora, are you ok?" Water dripped from his long, silver hair as his dark eyes looked into the other's blue.
The sound of wings fluttering at the window made the imp look up... and stand. "Aren't you late?" He grinned, his hands on his hips as he looked at the other. Luckily, he was back in his leather pants. He leaned down though and picked up the cup before slowly walking to the prince. "Here... it's for you."
He handed the boy the cup, not sure if it was too hot for the other. He had a hard time telling what might be TOO hot. But seeing that Roxas didn't cry or drop the cup meant that it was ok for now. He grinned, seeing the questionable face about the liquid. "It's called a hot mudslide. It's uh.... alcoholic. Has some Irish cream and some Kahlua. I also put some old coffee in it... just to see how it taste... but it's actually really good..." He smiled a bit, hoping that Roxas would try it.

OOC: Eeee wigs! I'll talk to you about it when you get on~ You forgot what Destiny looks like?!!?!? Shame on you... you tube it!
Terra paused, walking towards the broken window and paused there, looking up. He neither changed back nor did he jump atop the sheleves. He tilted his head in curiosity as the other brought out some other things that glinted - one with sharp edges and one that was a round discus.
His head tilted some, ears perking as the other spoke and his eyes narrowed. So he WAS from another race?
"You'll have to catch me."
.......
Wait wha?
By the time Terra had computed the message Ven was already gone. With a bark of surprise he drew back on his haunches and using his powerful legs he jumped onto the shelf-tops. He paused at the windowsill, seeing the strange piece of gold made in a shape that was odd yet intriguing and, strangely, pointing.
He picked up the thing between his teeth and without a moment of doubt took off in the same direction, catching a glimpse of blonde on the horizon, chasing him out into the desert.
The bad thing about the desert was the wind was free out here, and the constantly shifting sands often blew away trails. Smart Atterians escaped to the deserts to help them survive being chased - often by Prowlers. But only the fools would venture so far out they got lost in the process. Out here, the desert was a graveyard of the foolish dead buried many, many miles under sand by now.
The chase went on. Terra would occasinally raise his nose to the air to catch Ven's scent - but none was forthcoming. All he could smell was the sand and burning fur.
Pretty soon he could no longer run, the heat getting to him making the fur stick to his sides and he soon morphed back into his human shape. Sweat was running from his brow and making his clothes plaster to him uncomfortably.
He took out the gold object from his mouth, shaded his eyes from the sun and tried to catch a glimpse of blonde out there. "Ven?!" He called. He looked back in the direction he had come - and to his horror he could no longer see his hometown. Shit... he was lost. In the DESERT. No water, no food, no shelter. He would die from dehydration if the quicksand didn't get him first.
"Fuck idiot how could you fall for such a stupid trick?"
Well he had been running straight right? So if he turned around and ran straight backwards that would get him home without a hitch right?
If... That was still the right way. Or maybe that was the right way. Maybe he should just keep going. now was it that way... or that way? Or uh... "Ut oh." Fuck what did he do?!!?! Why did he move?! "VEN YOU GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE RIGHT NOW!"
He wondered momentarily if he suffered from schizophrenia. Maybe... Maybe Ventus was some sort of imaginary friend who he THOUGHT was real and yeah his imaginary friend wanted to kill him. Great, he had a suicidal sub-concious. "Fuck me to hell."
Sora heard a voice above and forced his eyes open to look up, arms and legs flailing. Because of the sun's glare he couldn't see anything but a shadow. It seemed to move and he cried out, "RI-" and then he fell under the water, gurgling for air.
He kicked his legs frantically, coming back up for air, coughing hard as his lungs burned and nearly retching at the horrible taste of the sea water. His wings offered no comfort either. If he got them wet he would not be able to fly to freedom. He was already too weighted down by the water soaking his clothes anyways.
"Help! Riku!!!" He cried his arms and legs started to weaken. He didn't know how long he could this up - he was already tired. God, this was pathetic. He was part of the strongest race in all the galaxies... and a dip in the ocean was going to be his killer.
Then suddenly He was there. His eyes shot open the arm came around him and he shook all over, fingers twisting in the other's shirt and not letting go. He blinked some, coughing out the water that had collecting in his lungs and he hoped he hadn't swallowed a lethal dose of salt. That'd be an ever greater way to die, ha ha.
The trek back to safety was a short one and every moment longer it took Sora could feel the panic still shooting through him. He was, after all, a wing-creature - born for the sky and bound with the land. Water TERRIFIED him.
He couldn't describe how relieved he was the minute they were back on the shore and he was dragged onto the beach and laid out on the warm sand. He looked up at Riku unable to stop his mind from thinking 'angel' and wasdimly aware he had just been asked a question and just blinked up at him for a few more moments, his breath slowly regulating itself back to normal as the panic fled.
"Huh.... oh y-yeah..." He stuttered, the words finally processing. He curled his figners experimently before drawing a shaky hand up to run through his soaked locks, the spikes dropping but surprisingly still standing. "Hee... hehehehehehe...." He laughed suddenly even though nothing was funny. He just had his first near-death experience for god's sake. "This is great. No matter how hard I try I still look like a fool around you. Isn't that funny? Hahaha..."
Roxas yawned a little shrugging his shoulders at the others question. "Had to wait for my wings to dry." He mumbled, keeping his eyes on the other. He blinked curiously as the other came over and tilted his ehad at the offering. He looked from the cup to Axel, raising an eyebrow, taking it without a word.
The cup was warm in his hands, and he knew somewhere in the back of his mind it was probably excrutiatingly hot but hey that liquid potion worked well and he barely felt it.
He was quiet as the other explained and then he smiled. "You made this... for me?" He looked at Axel, getting a nod and he swore he could of melted into a nice puddle of goo right then and there. He felt all happy and tingly just because Axel had made something with all his skills and all his care and all his time... just for him!
Nevermind that it was alcohol and his parents would kill him if they found out - he got enough of the 'Shee do not get drunk' talk after Port Royale - but god he would happily give up his position as prince just to drink and eat anything Axel made.
He slowly took a experimental sip. He tasted the alcohol straight away and he felt shivers wrack over him at the unpleasant burn that rushed down his throat. He rubbed his tongue agaisnt the roof of his mouth to expel the numbness that had run over it. If he learned anything when drinking alcohol though, the first taste was always the hardest.
He tried another sip and this time it was better. He actually got some taste. The bitterness of the coffee with a sweet dash of Irish cream and sugar and the rich flavor of the Kahlua that reminded him oddly of chocolate actually combined to make an interestingly nice taste. He tried it again and smiled finally, decided that, yes indeed, he liked it.
He, unlike Axel, didn't wait to finish the drink off to bestow the compliments. Only until it was half gone. "You're right." He murmured, a smile running across his face. "It tastes great." He gulped down some more and then giggled a bit. "It reminds me of hot chocolate on rainy days."
...Was he already getting drunk?

It was a good thing that Ventus had taken two vials of his brother's cooling potion. He had plenty to spare. He always kept a head of Terra, no matter what. However... not after long... he was wondering if this was actually going to work. It had only been a hour and Terra had already lost sight of him... and look like he was in panic. He knew Atterians didn't go into the desert... because there was nothing out here for them.
Nothing but death...
He doubted that any Atterian had made it to the oasis... or maybe they did... but never returned to prove it.
He stopped, his determined eyes looking back and slowly marched up the last dune he had run down. At the top, he could see Terra looking around... as if lost... which he kind of was. Ventus would need to make sure that Terra was always in eyes view from now on... but still as fast as a luring imp. He frowned before closing his eyes... and a gust of majick was sent through the wind.
The majick wrapped around the pendant that Terra was holding, cooling his hand as he held it. It also shined and pushed passion through Terra's veins. Now that Ventus was in view at the top of the dune, he was hoping that Terra would grow more encouragement. Terra would have to believe in Ven... and the only way he could do that... was to have the heart for it.
And Terra started towards him again. As he started up the dune, Ventus started to run down it again... but before he left, a bottle of cold water was dropped at the top.
Riku frowned as he looked down at his friend... and blinked in shock as he started to laugh. A sincere look ran over his face as he smiled, shaking his head and making water from his hair drip down onto Sora. "Come on... Don't say that.." He slowly pulled off his wet, yellow vest and pushed it to the side before leaning down and wrapped an arm around the other's shoulders.
He pulled the boy up and helped him to his feet before slouching down and pulling one of Sora's arms around his shoulders. "Come on, I'll bring you to my house so you can dry up." They slowly walked from the grove up to the main path. They inched their way through the door and out to the docks. As Riku rowed them back to the mainland, he looked out over the horizon. "You know, Sora... every time I look out there... I wonder... if there will ever be a place like this one." He looked back at his shaking friend and smiled. "But then I realized... that all worlds must have something beautiful in them... but nothing as beautiful... as home..."
When they reached the docks of the mainland, Riku helped Sora out the boat and down the dirt street a ways. He walked down another street, all the way to the end to a house that was right by the ocean. A beautiful palm shaded it in a tropical manner as he slowly opened the wooden door. Inside, it was cool and comfy looking. "Riku? Is that you?" A woman's voice called before she appeared in a doorway, looking at the silverette and brunette.
She had short silver hair with pale blue eyes. A pretty, yet cool dress fluttered over her, the colors very tropical. "Oh! Is he hurt?" She rushed over and gave her son some help with Sora. "He's alright... He fell into the ocean... and he doesn't know how to swim..." Riku said sadly as his mother looked Sora over. "Oh, you poor thing. Alright, you come over here," She helped Sora to a comfy looking couch and plopped him down before rushing to a closet and leaning in, finding something nice and big. A blanket. "Here you are dear." She smiled as she wrapped the boy up in it. "Don't worry if you get it wet, it's only water." She smiled softly before looking at Riku. "Why don't you get him some dry clothes."
Riku nodded as he rushed upstairs, and before long, came down with one of his school tops and bottoms. The woman took them and handed them to Sora and smiled. "Here sweetie, you can change into this. It's almost evening anyway... and I'm sure your the boy who Riku has been talking so much about." "Moooom...." Riku looked away slightly before walking off into another room. The woman smiled more before looking back at Sora. "It's nice to meet you Sora... I'm Carina and if you need anything at all, just ask. We'll be making dinner so feel free to get changed under the blanket. You can just sling your wet clothes over the sill right here and I'll wash them up for you in the morning."
She slowly left the boy walked off in the direction that her son was, leaving Sora alone in the living room.
Axel looked down at Roxas as the boy started to take a sip. His own face twisted as Roxas's did... but he continued to drink more... and more... which put a smile on the imp's face. He liked it! And... Roxas's words only held that fact true!
It really didn't take all so long to make it... but it was something very new... and with the old coffee, it brought a whole new favor into an imps classic drink. He smiled more as Roxas continued to talk.... but blinked and scratched his head a bit. He looked down and shook his head. "I never had hot chocolate before..." He said softly before looking up at the prince.
"And.... what's rain?" Of course, there was no rain on Tarsa. The only thing that 'rained' from the sky was the ash.... and that wasn't as cooling. Lava also rained from the sky when a volcano erupted... making the lava pit and others things... but as for water... well.... Axel never even heard of water before... Seeing that he was of a fire element, one wouldn't think he would like the sound of water either...

Terra was just getting around to deciding a direction when a gust seemed to blow around him, cooling him down pleasantly. He shivered at the contrasting feeling. The golden thing in his hand glew and he looked down at it.
Now he couldn't be imagining that right?
He looked up and a little towards the right and saw him again. "Ven!" He called walking towards him, unable to describe the need to reach him.
And Ven was gone. "Hey!!" He called running after him. He reached the top of the dune - seeing Ven in the horizon and looked down at his feet. A... water bottle?
He picked it up, glancing back towards Ven who was farther off and standing there, waiting for him to take chase again. "What is this about?!" He yelled, but got no answer. Either Ven didn;t want to - or couldn;t hear him.
He sighed, having a feeling the gift of water meant this was going to be a long, long jourany. He uncapped the water, taking a sip. He would have to ration it then. He stuck the cork back in and took after him once more, unsurprised when the blonde turned and rushed off.
Alright Ven... I'll play your little game.
Sora chuckled a bit as Riku helped him up just nodding in agreement. It wasn't every day you nearly drowned right? And it wasn't every day your caretaker takes off his vest and exposes his body freely to the world, right? He wondered exactly HOW Riku stayed so pale... and so fit.
He walked back along the bridge with the other, his steps more cautious then before. He didn't want a repeat of his last spill. Especially because this time his wings would definitely catch him - Riku or no Riku.
It wasn't long before they made it back to Riku's little wooden boat. He wondered if the other had made it himself but didn't feel up to asking. He just enjoyed the ride back to the mainland and smiled as the other spoke, his heart thrumming happily. Riku didn't take things for granted did he?
... That actually made him feel a little guilty. Could he be taking Riku's trust for granted by not telling him who he really was?
Stop it... when the time comes he'll understand. He berated himself.
But when would be the right time...?
The trek back to Riku's house was a quiet one - for Sora at least. He was a little uncomfortable, knowing Riku was doing all this for him and he felt like he wasn't being fair back.
However when he got to Riku's cute little abode his mind halted. "You live here...?" He murmured looking at the house. No it wasn;t extravagantly big or beautifully adorned. It wasn't like a manshion or anything...
But it was quaint and cute. It had the sight of somewhere that had been well-lived in and lovingly cared for. It had the same aura around it that Sora felt when he went back to Norn. It felt like... home.
He stepped through the door with the other, smiling a bit. He wondered how many times a little Riku ran inside that same door, tracking mud or bringing flowers for his mom or rushing in to tell her his next big piece of news. Heh, he bet Riku was pretty cute when he was little.
The inside was just as welcoming as the outside. It wasn't sparkling clean.. It had its flaws. Dust on the shelves, glasses laying around, photographs on the wall that weren't quite straight. Something about all this homes imperfections made him love it more. It had the feel of being 'lived in'. Something that could bring anyone straight into their comfort zone.
He looked up as he heard a new voice and his cheeks darkened a little as an older woman came into the hall. Riku's mom. He smiled shakily as SHE came over and helped him too. He could already see were Riku learned his kindness from. He wanted to tell them that he was okay, really, but he was a bit tongue-tied.
The next oh, three minutes were rather quick - and suddenly he not only had a seat on the couch and a blanket around his shoulders - but he also had a pair of dry clothes in his arms and a mother's caring orders to 'get changed before he caught a cold'.
Okay well Carina didn't say THAT but he could imagine it. Riku had... a really great mom.
He slipped off his shoes and socks, leaving them on the wooden floor before tugging off his shirt, listening to the wet squelch it made as it fell over the shoes. That's when he threw the blanket over him and proceeded to strip to the skin, his baggy pants and boxers finding their way onto the floor as well. He snuggled into the soft blanket some grateful for the coverage as he dried himself with it - hey Carina said it was okay!
Getting dressed however proved to be a challenge. He managed however and soon he was tugging the blanket off and coming up for air tugging on the last article of clothing he had been given. A shirt.
He stood chuckling because Riku's clothes were a tad too big for him. The pant legs dragged on the floor and the collar of his shirt exposed more than it should. But it thrilled him because he was wearing RIKU'S clothes.
Roxas was silent as the other spoke tilting his head. "No I suppose you wouldn't have had it before... I'll bring you some tomorrow." He doubted Axel had ever even had chocolate before - considering it would melt in this environment rather quickly.
He stood from the sill, taking a few steps away. "As for rain... well come here." When Axel was at the sill he looked outside, prompting the other to do the same.
"Rain is a liquid that falls from the sky. It's water. I don't think you'll like it very much..." He knew no water existed on this world. Axel was probably the only species that could survive without it. Maybe that was why the Shee were so guarded about the imps. Not only did they thrive on the sins - but they did not have the balance between fire and water like other worlds did.
"Do you see that patch of fire down there?" Roxas asked pointed down a little further down the mountainside. It was just a little flame like a campfire really. It seemed to be there without purpose. When he saw that Axel had seen it he nodded. "Alright good, now watch."
Roxas freed one of his hands from the cup and gracefully arched his arm up, his wings glowing lightly. "Water." He commanded, and the liquid collected around his fingertips. He jerked his arm down and the stream flew and hit the fire - putting it out instantly.
"It's your complete opposite." He explained. "But for most other species it's essential for life. Without it... we would die."

Ventus stopped when Terra was only a small speck on top of the sand dune. This was going to take a lot longer than he had hoped... but if Terra continued to run after him, it might not be too bad. The likelihood of him running like that was slim though. A frown ran over his face. Would he have enough time to bring Terra to the oasis AND back to his town?
Shit... he should of thought of thing better. Well... It was too late now... When Terra started to come after him again, he started out once more, heading to the oasis that was still far away.
Carina walked into the kitchen, seeing Riku already getting things out of a nice dinner. She smiled as she walked over and started to help him. "He seems like a nice boy." Riku looked up and smiled slightly before continuing to hand her things. "Yea." When he stood, he pulled an apron on like his mother. "It's nice to see you actually become friends with someone..."
Riku took a tomato and placed it on a cutting board before looking DOWN at his mother. Yes, he was going to be pretty tall. "You know.... I think Sora... is my first..." "Best friend?" He blinked and nodded, slowly cutting the tomato. "Y-yea, something like that..."
Axel blinked as he walked over as Roxas motioned him. He looked out, seeing the patch of fire that the side of the volcano was aiding. Just a random brush fire. Those were so normal that no one really paid any attention to them. He nodded and frowned, watching Roxas as he did something interesting with his hand before... putting the fire out.
It wasn't from a breeze or anything... but something that was a clear liquid and... made a weird sound... like...a splash. Steam rose from where the fire had been and Roxas started to explain more. The imp wrapped his arms around him and frowned. No... he didn't like the sound of this water stuff...
It was a long day... and night. Over sand dunes, around sand traps and through the hot and sandy wind. Red marks started to show on Ven's face from the sand scratching over it at such high speeds.
They had traveled all day... and all night. It was now twilight and Terra had used up all his water. Heavy feet trudged through the sand as if he was trudging through the swamp back at home with all the mud weighing him down. He slowly looked back, the breeze making his cloak rip some. But his dull eyes suddenly widened. Terra was no longer trudging after... but flat on the sand. More sand was blowing over him as it tugged at his clothes.
"TERRA!" He cried in horror but before he could even rush off, he looked in front of him again... and saw it. A sight of a single branch... and the faint sound of a waterfall. They here here! He looked back and with most of his strength, he ran back to Terra and fell to his knees next to him. "TERRA! TERRA, WE'RE HERE!" All he could hear was a grumble before the boy's body went limp. "T-terra?"
His eyes became dark as he looked out towards where the oasis was hiding. Slowly he walked in front of Terra and grabbed hold his shoulders... and started to pull him the rest of the distance.
It was trying... and desperate. He pulled and lost his balance at time, falling on his face but went back, pulling with all his might as he dragged the Attarian over the last dune. In a sense, it was pretty... romantic. "Come on Terra..." He gasped as he felt like he could collapse any second. "W-we're almost.... there..." He swallowed nothing as he panted. "It's...s-so beautiful....you....you have to see it..."
And they made it over the last hunch... but that was all Ventus could do. They both stumbled down the hill, rolling through LIVE trees and through the marsh. They continued to tumble down until they reached the bottom in a harsh thud. Ventus's eyes opened slowly, hearing the water loud and clear now.
The twilight bounced off the shaped canyon, giving it a heavenly look to it. He looked up, seeing a beautiful waterfall coming from inside the rock and spill down into the pool of cold water. They... made it... He slowly crawled to the shore... and shoved his head into the water. The cold liquid eased his neck and face and scalp. He pulled out, panting a bit as he caught his breath. He pulled himself up and cupped some of the water, drinking it greedily and sighed in relief.
Perfect.
He looked back, seeing Terra's mangled body next to the water and got up, walking to him and leaning down. He grabbed an empty bottle that was in Terra's belt before walking to the water and catching some in it. He walked back and slowly poured it over the exhausted Atterian. He wouldn't grow conscious until morning... but he was still alive... and they still made it...
The wooden table was full of steamed food and fresh fruit and greens. Three plates were full of food half eaten as chatter and soft laughs filled the night. There was almond wild rice, grilled shrimp with mango salsa, spinach and strawberry salad and banana punch. It was flavorful and refreshing.
"I can't believe you didn't fix that board yet, Riku. You see what happened." The woman frowned as she put some strawberries in her mouth. The silverette frowned as he swallowed some greens. "Well... I wasn't expecting something like that to happen..." He looked down a bit. "Besides... it's not MY job to keep the place nice..." "Weeeell, maybe the kids who play over there should all keep the island nice and safe." She looked at Sora and smiled. "You'd help, right Sora?" She had already grown to like him a lot.
They talked for a little more before Carina looked at Riku again. "I haven't seen or heard much from Kairi, how is she?" Riku blinked as he looked up. "Who?" There was dead silence as Carina gave her son a blank stare. "What do you mean 'who?'? Kairi.... you're girlfriend?" Riku blinked and looked incredibly embarrassed. "O-OH! Uh.... yea, she's fine. We went out for dinner. She's been really with her extra schooling, but I think she'll get into the classes she wants to..."
Carina grinned and just shook her head. "Well, I hope she does..."
A light flicked from a window made of stone. Laughter also poured out of it. "HAHA!! That one's good! Look at this!" A happy voice rang out as two figures sat in behind a fire. The bare wall was their entertainment.
Frail fingers shifted and bend, making a shadow on the wall. It looked like a goat. "Baa~~~ My horns aren't so big but I'm still a cutie~~~ Baa~~~" A redhead laughed as he moved his fingers, making the shadow talk.
Hand shadows. Green eyes looked over at the blonde and grinned. "Beat THAT!"

The time passed horribly slow as Terra trekked after the blonde, gaining his own cuts from the sandstorms. He kept hoping over each sand dune that this journey would come to an end. Where was Ven leading him? that's what kept running through his mind. Where were they going?
He called to the blonde often, telling him to come back - but the other Atterian would only look back and wave his hand to encourage the him to continue. Eventually - especally after he got a mouthful of sand - he simply gave up. It wasn't like he could turn around. He no longer knew the way home.
He panted, dragging his feet along the sand. He had run out of water long ago, and the heat was making his head spin. "Ven..." He called, looking up ahead at where the blonde also was trudging along.
The world however seemed to blur before him. The beige sands and Ven's body seemed to morph together until he couldn't distinguish one from the other. His foot collided with his leg and suddenly he went spiraling into the sand. He struggled a little, trying to get back up but his muscles refused to cooperate until he just laid there, defeated.
He sighed, watching the sand shift before shutting his eyes. He needed to rest...
"TER--!" Ven's voice came to him in a haze. "T---A! ---RA! WE-- --RE!"
He grumbled softly, something that could have been understood as a garpled 'What?' before falling into the sweet abyss of sleep that was calling to him.
The next thing he was aware of was the sound roaring and the warmth of something agaisnt his back. Terra groaned, his eyes fluttered open, his vision slowly clearing. He blinked... and then blinked again as the sight came before him.
He sat up, rubbing his eyes and then looked forward again. could it be a... a mirage? But the beauty around him was not disappearing. Not at all.
Something shifted behind him and he looked, seeing Ven on his side and fast asleep.
"I found these at the oasis..."
".... at the oasis...."
"... the oasis..."
God it was beautiful. More beautiful then he imagined. Lush trees were everywhere, providing shade and beauty. They were more beautiful then the ones back home - they were bigger, brighter and greener. The rocks were cut up all over, probably by the constant erosion thanks to the water, and the sight was beautiful and artistic. Nature's beauty really. And the water... god the water. He'd never seen anything so blue... and rushing waterfall bubbled the purest white - casting rainbows.
Terra stood on shaky legs stumbling over to the water's edge and promptly fell into the pool. He blinked, looking around as he swallowed some water, relishing at the clear taste. The bottom was carved finely the rocks a soft blue and little underwater plants growing here and there.
Someone started to yell his name, the voice fuzzy and hard to understand. Instinct took over and he kicked his legs and moved his arms until he was coming back up for air and he looked over at the edge of the water where Ven was his eyes full of panic and concern.
The brunette only gave him a wide grin back, laughing joyously as he splashed the other. "Come on in, the water's great!!"
Sora smiled as he sat at the dinner table, finding it surprisingly easy to converse with Riku and his mother. He'd never been ionvited to someone else's house to eat before - though he noticed it was quite a common ritual among human friends and oftentimes children Shee. But... being a prince everyone was too scared of offending him or his family 'honor' by inviting him to their 'lowly' abodes where he would eat 'below average' food.
Honestly he just thought everyone was just a little too self-concious.
He also found out that, in riku's house, he had completely thrown away all of his dad's 'a prince should have manners under all circumstances' speeches and just gobbled up the food happily. He didn't forget to thank them both of compliment then on how great it tasted however - because, thought the meal was simple, it was quite simply one of the best things he had ever had.
The was just biting into another piece of shrimp, tasting the sweet salsa it had been dipped in when Carina turned her attention to him saying something about making the play island safe with Riku. Heh... he'd do anything with Riku. "Yeah I can do that." He said, grinning. Though, he wasn;t a brown wing so he'd probably be quite terrible at carpentry and bridge building and what not. "With my skills though the bridge'll probably be as straight as a cooked noodle." He chuckled.
The conversation kept going, and then it turned to a subject that made Sora squirm a little Kairi. He picked up his punch and sipped at it to hide his sudden jealousy - but he nearly choked as he struggled to hold down his laughter when Riku seemed to have forgetten her.
He probably shouldn't of found that thrilling, but his heart seemed to soar. It seemed Roxas and Ventus were not the only ones falling head over heels in love... He was too.
As the conversation about Kairi passed Sora suddenly decided something. "H-Hey Riku?" When he caught the silverette's eye he blushed modestly. "Um... if you aren't doing anything tommorrow could you um... teach me how to swim? I don't really uh wanna try drowning again." He laughed softly, hoping he was picking up the subtle message (since he was sure Riku hadn't told his mother about his plans).
He knew Riku wanted to build the raft - but if they were going to set out on that thing with nothing but the ocean surronding them well... he'd have to know. Riku couldn't keep bring his hero - though he didn't mind that either.
In the little roost was an empty cup that once held an alcoholic drink, a vat of lava, a bed, and another empty blue vial, along with the two laughing friends.
Roxas chuckled seeing the goat romp around the wall. His eyes shimmered at the challenge though. "Oh I will 'cutie'." He laughed lifting his own hands and bending them carefully until it took the shape he wanted.
"I'm a little Lizard," Roxas said with a bit of a hiss in his voice. He moved fhis hands along, making the lizard scuttle along the walls tail swinging. Then he moved his finger, hiding it from the light. "Ah I seemed to of lost my taaail. But don't worry it grows back!" He slowly moved his figner back into place, making it look like the reptile had just grown a new one.
He grinned laughing. He had never had this much fun before! Play like this was never 'proper' for a prince. No it was just lesson, lesson, lesson. Lecture, lecture, lecture. Gosh he hardly saw his parents anymore they were always so busy, busy, busy! And he was always caught up in that busy life. There was never time for this, no time for that.
But with Axel he felt like... he suddenly had all the time in the world. Like... like he could lay under the night sky and count the stars and even though it would take forever it would be okay because he would be with Axel.

Ventus had stayed up that night as much as he could... but he couldn't watch over Terra all too well either. He too was hot, tired, hungry and.... just.... finished. Usually he had a hard time sleeping outside... but he passed out on the rocks next to Terra, listening to the water and the waterfall as he drifted far away.
At least... nothing could harm them here...
The sound of the waterfall... Was he.... back home...? In his comfy feather bed with the golden sun peeking through his white sheer curtains...? His blue eyes opened... only not to see his beautiful room.... but a horrifying sight.
"TERRA!" He scrambled up and rushed to where the water was falling into the pool. He looked down, his eyes wide in horror as he saw the Atterian down below. Atterians couldn't swim could they!? They never had anything to practice in! "TEEEEEEEEEERAAAAAAAA!!!" Some bubbled surfaced and he backed away... only for the familiar brunette to pop back to the surface.
Was... was it shallow. "Terra..." His face still full of concern.... but suddenly, he was hit... with that handsome smile... making his cheeks flush and a small smile arising over his own face. He was...ok.
His eyes widened more in shock with what happened next. "H-Hey!" He laughed happily as he shield his face from the water being splashed at him. "Alright!" He got up and wrapped his fingers around the bottom of his shirt, pulling it up and over his head. Two thin scars ran down each bare shoulder blade, hard for any normal eye to see. "Watch out!" He called happily before moving backwards... and then rushed towards the pool.
He sprang and pulled his knees to his chest, wrapping his arms around them as he made a cannonball. He, unlike Soran, had to learn how to swim. Gin had taught him since some battles were actually IN the water in some worlds. However, when he got out of his ball, he realized that the water wasn't too deep, hence Terra not having to worry so much about drowning.
Good thing too because Terra WAS heavy! He was totally lying when he said he wasn't fat! Though he knew muscle weighed more than fat.
He surfaced, shaking his head as his body bopped in the water. The crisp liquid flew around as the blonde spikes bounced and he looked back, his blue eyes shining brightly back at the brunette. A huge, bright smile was given back to the Atterian as he laughed and started to splash back at him.
Riku continued to eat before Sora caught his attention. He swallowed and looked over at the blonde, smiling slightly. "Yea?" He blinked though at the question... and his smile grew. "Sure Sora... I think every kid who comes here should know how to swim." Riku was extremely grateful that Sora had yet to spill the beans to his mother about the raft... because he knew it would worry her.
"You can meet me at the same place... just watch out for the board next time." He winked before pushing some fish in his mouth. Before anyone could say anything else, there was a sudden knock on the wooden door. Carina frowned as she looked pass the door frame at the front door. "Now who could that be...?" "I'll get it." Riku stood and pushed in his chair before walking to the front door and opened it.
Green eyes looked up at him, a faint smile on her face. His eyes widened a bit. "K-Kairi... H-hey... what are you doing here?" The girl looked over and waved at Carina. "Sorry for interrupting dinner, Ms. Mizushima! I won't be long!" She blinked as she noticed that guest were there as well. A soft wave was given as she smiled. "Hey Sora." She looked back up at Riku and took his hands, pulling him out into the porch as Riku closed the door.
The silverette woman frowned as she looked at Sora. "Well.... I know it's not very motherly of me... but... I have this urge to go watch! Come on!" She giggled slightly as she pulled Sora's arm carefully and took him from his chair. They went to the couch and ducked down under the window, only their eyes peering over the sill at the two standing in the moonlight.
Kairi smiled as she held Riku's hand, standing face to face with him. "So... was it true? I heard you had to carry Sora from the island... is he alright?" Riku rubbed the back of his next and nodded. "Y-yea, he's fine. Just a bit shaken up... so I brought him over for some dinner." "Ah... that was really nice of you." She said sweetly as she leaned into him more. "I missed you..." She leaned off slowly, her lips heading for his and---
Riku looked away before their lips met. Her eyes widened as she pulled away, looking up at him in surprise. "Riku...?" "I'm sorry Kairi..." He said softly as she shook he head. "I... I just haven't been feeling well lately..." He looked back at her, giving her a small smile. "I think I'm coming down with something..." The girl frowned but smiled. "Maybe you're depressed? You've been working awfully hard... or maybe you're getting heat sickness!" She pouted and looked away for a moment before looking back at him. "Hey! Maybe we can do something tomorrow... like go out and spend some time together... maybe that will make you feel better?"
There was a pause and Riku shook his head. "Sorry Kairi... I told Sora I'd teach him how to swim tomorrow." There was an even longer pause before their hands broke connection. Kairi put her hands on her hips, her face becoming angry. "You just said you weren't feeling well. You feel good enough to teach Sora how to swim but can't go out with me for a few hours?" Riku blinked and opened his mouth. "Well---" "No Riku..." She stopped him and sighed. "I knew this was going to happen... you're so caught up in this fantasy of yours. You know, I hardly have seen you since school got out. You promised me that you'd work on your project, then come visit me."
Riku's mouth gaped, opening and closing but nothing came out. A sigh finally admitted before he shook his head. "I was worried that I might interfere with your.... I'm sorry....." He looked down, his face ashamed. Kairi sighed and looked down as well before slowly turning away. "You need to learn to take notice of those who you can see... and not worry about things so much that you can't." She slowly walked down the stairs and onto the road before looking over her shoulder. "If you want to spend some time with your girlfriend, you can come looking, but I'm not coming to you anymore. Ok?"
Riku nodded slightly before before she took her leave. He stood there... just looking at the wood. Why.... did he pull away from the kiss... and....why did he lie to her. He didn't even cover it up...
Carina pulled Sora back off the couch and frowned. "Well..." She sighed, frowning. "Looks like that didn't go so well... I'll pack up a doggy bag for you... now's a good time for you to go home, sweetie."
Axel watched, taking a sip of his own alcoholic drink before bursting into laughter as the shadow tail came back. His own tail wagged back and forth as his eyes lit up. He clapped and snorted, shaking his head. "No! No! I got a better one!" He giggled as his fingers came up and mingled around, trying to make something very detailed.
It was a boy with spiky hair. He moved his fingers so that it looked like he was talking. "Oh boy, that treat was really good! Too bad it gave me the poopsies~~" The imp suddenly lifted his one cheek... and a loud fart rang against the stone. "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Axel snorted as he burst into laughed.
He took a deep breath, smelling in the foul smell. He pinched his nose and waved his hand in front of his face. "Jeez, princy, what DID you eat?"

Terra blinked as Ven suddenly came vaulting in. "Wah!" He cried, swimming backwards as a huge wave sprayed up. He shook his head chuckling as his hair plastered itself to his face and fell into his eyes.
Ven didn't have to worry about him. He was a dog - a natural born swimmer. He was just letting his wolf side tell him what to do, not too hard.
"Hey!" He laughed as he was splashed back and did the same. Crystal clear water flew everywhere as they tried to beat each other. When that game got boring they decided to swim around some. Terra took off his shoes, socks and shirt to give him a little less weight. While his back was turned, hanging his wet socks and shirt on a low-hanging branch, Ven splashed him again.
"Oh you're gonna get it!" He suddenly kicked his legs, grabbing Ven around his middle and dragged him under with him. He felt the other struggluing to escape in his hands and grinned, feet touching the ground and kicked off. Both of them shot up, breaking free, water hitting the edges of the pool.
"Heeey..." He said after he had caught his breath, grining evilly at the boy in his arms. "Are you...." He fingers twitched along the other's side. "Ticklish?"
Sora grinned brillantly when he got Riku's agreement his heart giving a happy little flutter. He'd get to learn how to swim! Finally! Ven had always rubbed that one in his face. Roxas never seemed to care for it either way though. "Why swim when we have wings? We'll just fly over it." Pff Roxas just didn't want to admit he was scared.
Sora blinked then laughed a little nervously. What, was the board going to come back? That wasn't possible right?
There was a pause when their was suddenly a knock at the door and Sora blinked, not used to the noise. Hardly anyone knocked back at his 'house'. Palace. Whatever. The Shee were free to walk right in at their own accords and the guards usually just poked their heads in and his brothers and parents certainly had no problems walking into any room.
He tilted his head smiling a little when he saw Kairi. but he knew it was more out of politeness rather then pleasure at seeing her. He was afraid of water remember? Ahaha, okay stupid joke.
"Hello." He answered. After the pleasantries were shared, Kairi dragged Riku out the door and Sora pouted, wanting to know what they were saying.
To his surprise, Carina, the closet eavesdropper, suddenly dragged him towards the window in the living room and he tried not to laugh. Who woulda guessed? She really either loved her son - or really just loved nosing her way into his business.
Made him a little glad his mom was too busy to do such a thing. Or maybe just sad?
He shuffled under the window with Carina, grinning a bit, but tilted his head as he caught his name. They were talking about him?!
He pouted a little but let it pass. People did that - humans especally. They usually never asked the direct person how he was or what he/she was doing and yadda yadda. For some reason it was easier to get the information second-hand.
He shook his head, feeling a little naughty listening in on someone else's conversation - and when it started turning sour he felt REALLY bad. Not for lsitening though - but for Riku, and strangely for Kairi too. He was watching a relationship fall about and couldn't help but feel responsible. After all, they had been fine... until he dropped in like a third wheel.
Humans were really sad creatures - going about this dating thing. Shees, when not part of arranged marriages based on wing colors, found the person they loved and with that person they stayed. His grandmother was the first Shee in a long, long time to do anything different.
He sighed as he was pulled away from the window, his mind full of doubt. Was his presence here... doing more harm then good? "Miss Carina?" He murmured softly as he was lead back into the kitchen. "Did I cause that?" He motioned towards the closed door, indicating the scene they had just witnessed.
Roxas placed his hands down, watching the other go about his next imitation and at his words raised an eyebrow...
And then Axel farted. And proceeded to blame him. "Wha?! ME?! You did it!" He laughed, pushing the other over with his foot while he plugged his nose. "Jeez I'm surprised you didn't start a fire!" He joked, unable to stop his laughter. "Improper cretin."

Ven laughed as more water was shot his way, and sent it right back. It reminded him of when he and his brothers had a splashing battle in the huge tub when they were younger... but this was all so different. With every laugh the other let, his heart fluttered like his wings.
He grinned though as it died down and they explored the place a bit more. This was the first time, the two had been around each other... and acted so... carefree. There were no judges out here, no prowlers, no backstabbers... no sand and no brick. It was just so natural... and free.
Blue eyes darkened as Ventus saw Terra turn to hang his things up, he splashed him with all his might. He grinned and chuckled, seeing Terra's predatory eyes on him. He yelped before he could do much, suddenly being dragged under. He struggled as bubbles escaped his mouth. His eyes widened as he suddenly jolted in the hair, his yelp all disoriented from being under water. They surfaced and he panted, shaking his head again to get the water off his hair and out of his face.
Before he could get Terra back, he felt rough fingers on his smooth side. He would of blushed... if something didn't come up first. "H-hey! Ha...Hahaha.... S-stop!" He laughed as a tickle ran up him. Terra's grip didn't seize as he tried to back up, backing all the way up to one side of the pool and leaning back on it's natural walls. He blushed more as he felt the fingers at his skin.
His giggle passed as his body grew use to the tickles and looked up, his blue eyes gazing into the others. Blue eyes were rare on Atteris... They were usually brown, red or yellow... but not Terra's... Slowly he pulled his wet hands up, and ran them over Terra's cheeks before curling them into the wet, brown hair. His eyes shined as a soft smile ran over his face. "Was... it worth the journey...?"
Carina smiled as she lead Sora to the kitchen and started to clean up the plates. She stopped though as she looked back, hearing Sora's question. She placed some plates in the sink before drying her hands in her dress. Walking over to the boy, she placed her hands on his shoulder. "Oh no, Sora... this isn't your fault at all." She smiled more as she rubbed his cheek. "I know you must feel this way... being knew and all... but don't you think that if things go wrong now that you caused it just because it was happening after you came."
She straightened and smiled down at the boy. "Riku's a big boy now... he knows what he wants and doesn't. I know he will make things right between everyone..." She started back to the table and put some food into some containers, grabbing a paper bag and slowly handing it to him. She led him to the back door and opened it for him, the sound of the crickets coming in. "Now don't worry... sleep well and have sweet dreams."
She softly waved the boy off as he eventually went around the house and she closed the door. He pulled on her yellow gloves and started to tackle the dishes.
Riku on the other hand was sitting on the steps and blinked as he heard some footsteps. He looked over, seeing Sora walking around the house and headed for the road. Standing quickly, he frowned. "Sora!" He frowned even more when he got the brunette's attention. Slowly he walked down from the porch and over to Sora. "You're...leaving so soon? You didn't even get desert..."
Axel's tail wagged even more as he watched Roxas's expression... but at what he said, he was rolling on the floor and flapping his wings like some fool. "A fire!? I can do that!" He got on his knees, sticking his butt in the air... and pushed.
Another one ripped out... this time... with a flick of fire. "AAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" He laughed more as he buried his face in the ground. If he was sober at the time.... he would of killed himself. He was acting like some troll! Not an imp! But who cared...? They were having tones of fun!

Terra grinned in triumph, getting an affirmative on that notion. Aha, he thought so. 'Course he was to - but he wasn't going to tell Ven that! He laughed. "Why it's fun?" He said as they backed away and towards the wall of the pool. He grinned as he practically pinned Ven against the side, raising a curious eyebrow as the hands met his face and the question found his ears.
He stopped tickling the other and his smile became softer. "It was more than that." He murmured back as he leaned in, Vens hands slipping around him and into his hair, their foreheads touching. "Because I got to do it with you." He murmured, breath ghosting over the other.
And then... his shut his eyes, tilted his head and closed the distance between them, their lips meeting in a sweet kiss. He didn't know why. Maybe because he felt like Ven wanted to - and he definitely wanted to.
Sora frowned, not looking appeased at all, but he nodded, following her motions. If it wasn't his fault why was he being shoved out the door?
Oh... maybe Riku wouldn't see it the same way. He wondered... how badly it would hurt to get 'broken up' with someone. He worried if Riku was okay or not.
He sighed trekking down the road. For once HE would be the first getting home tonight. He paused however as he heard his name called and say the look on Riku's face. Well, riku obviously didn;t mind his company still...
But he looked so sad. Sora suddenly dropped the little bag of food he held and threw his arms around the other's neck, bringing him into a hug, standing on his tiptoes so Riku didn't have to bend over. "I'm so sorry Riku. She was so mean to you... But you know what? She's wrong. It's not a fantasy and its her loss for not believing in you and your heart."
He took a breath, his heart thrumming quickly against Riku's. "And out there I bet you'll find someone much better than her! Someone who'll make you happy for ever and ever! And you'll marry that person and you'll say 'Hey this was the best decision of my life!'"
"I can do that!"
"Huh?" Roxas started dumbly, put then watched Axel get into position and twitched. "No wa-" Too late.
He couldn't help but laugh but only because Axel was such an idiot. Lovable, but still an idiot. He shoved his foot against the other against making him roll over. "Didn't you ever learn manners?!"

Ven's heart started to pound in his ears as Terra moved in closer... and their foreheads were touching. He....had never been this close.... to anyone before... Well, besides his family of course with their kisses and hugs. This.... this was different. He felt like he was becoming out of breath just as the other's breath pushed against his face. In that moment, he wasn't hungry anymore... or cared that little fish were nibbling at his toes.
His blue eyes shined as his cheeks started to flush more, hearing the other's worlds. His eyes closed as he felt the other grow closer. Renki.... ones that could never love or never be loved.... No wonder that name was banned... because.... it wasn't true....
Wet lips met his softly, but pair acting like amateurs. Smaller fingers ran through the wet hair more as he tilted his head too, pressing his lips onto the others more. His mouth opened to breath... but something slithered into it before he could. His face pleased as he curled his fingers, his own tongue moving with the others. A tingle in his nether region made his toes curl as he wrapped his arms around the other's neck, bring him closer.
What he didn't expect though... was from this emotion... from this passion... something burst out. Wings. Fire wings glowed as they appeared, glitter sparking off them as the passion was strong. They fluttered the best they could in the water, the bottom half becoming soaked and limp. Worse part was... Ventus didn't even notice... The power of the Shee burst through the oasis in an instant, the water becoming even more beautiful that it had been as dead leaves grew live again.
Riku's eyes widened as he saw Sora drop the doggy bag. "Wha---" Suddenly, arms were wrapped around his neck in a hug. His eyes widened more, his mouth gaped from the shock. What... what was going....
He looked down slightly, seeing the blue eyes shine in the moonlight. His mother must of been eavesdropping on him again... and brought Sora too. He knew she loved him and only looked out for his well being... but she didn't have to drag Sora into it...
As Sora gave him a small speech, his heart started to rip in different directions. So many emotions ran though him. Sadness, happiness, and most of all... indecisiveness. When the brunette was done, he looked down and slowly put his hands on the boy's waist. "Sora..." He spoke softly as he looked deep into the other's eyes. Where... did you come from....? "Everyone get's angry Sora..." He frowned slightly as he closed her eyes.
Before Sora could say much else, he looked down the empty road and frowned. "For the longest time... I really thought she was the one..." He looked back down at Sora, his frown slowly turning. "But... you're right about something... there are other worlds.... with someone else.... much more special..." Slowly he leaned down... and brushed his lips with the brunette.
He knew that kissing a boy was extremely... unheard of... but why...? This single kiss... felt so much more....satisfying... than a million of kisses with Kairi.
Axel rolled over as he was pushed, holding his stomach so it wouldn't burst. He rubbed tears away as he looked up at Roxas and grinned, finally calming down after a moment. "Nope, didn't learn any of that either." He smiled but looked at the fire. By the shade of the sky, he knew that Roxas's clock would beep any moment.
"I guess it's that time again..." He said... sounded extremely sad... for the first time, he didn't want to see Roxas go. He sucked in some air, and gave a big blow towards the fire. It put it out, making smoke rise from it. A finger raised, pointing to the smoke and swirling it around. The smoke caught on the invisible track and started to shape.
It was a heart, and in the middle, the two could see each other. He smiled softly, his wings flapping gently.

Terra made a noise of pleasure as the other's mouth opened, quickly taking the opportunity and brushed his tongue against the others. He explored the other's mouth, brushing his teeth, the roof and danced with the other's tongue.
The taste was exotic. The feeling was addicting. And he could feel passion burning in his gut. He wasn't saying he saw stars or anything - fuck what did he look like a romance novel? - but if he had to choose between killing his dad for revenge or kissing Ven... well he'd choose the latter.
However, something quickly interruppeting his thought process as he was just planning on taking this position to the next level... and it was brushing against his knuckles.
His eyes shot open and he broke the kiss with a gasp, eyes wide as he saw the... contraptions on the other's back. "V-Ven..." He stuttered blue eyes just staring hands falling away from the other.
Ho-ly Shit... Ven was a SHEE?!
He felt the other's power tantilizingly ghosting over him but he felt no hunger for it. He knew however back home... the Atterians were going crazy. Good thing they were far away.
Sora looked at Riku quietly as the other stared back and he smiled a little. Yeah, he knew everyone got angry - but that didn't give Kairi a right not to support Riku in everything he did. that's what a good couple did. Especally if only by the basis of what 'one can not see'. You couldn't see AIR either but no one questioned IT'S existence.
He tilted his head as the other started to agree with him - but... what he was not expected was for Riku to suddenly be so much closer. His crystal eyes widened considering as he felt silver hair tickling his cheek... and soft lips against his own.
Oh... god. His heart skipped a beat or two. Riku started to pull away from the hesitant kiss and Sora reached up, fingers curling into silver hair as he tugging riku back down to meet him, their lips pressing together firmly. The brunette let his eyes fall shut, lips curving into a satisfied smile.
Roxas frowned a little, before glancing out the window as well, seeing that the sky was indeed changing, indicating the time it was back home as well. He looked back at Axel, watching him play with the smoke.
A smile grew on his face as he saw the heart forming and he blushed a little, looking straight into the emerald gaze. "Axel..." He smiled and dove forward suddenly, hugging the red-head for all he was worth.
"Think of stuff to do for the day after tommorrow. Soran and Ventus are gonna cover for me so I can stay here all day." He grinned up at the other. "It'll be fun!"
